WH: *Steps out from behind a red curtain onto a stage* Ahem hello. I bet you are all wondering why I took so long to get here. Well there were multiple reasons for this that I will not be going into detail about. Including my depression resurfacing, my job's schedule getting unpredictable, my family visiting, and several other things. I just want to say this now to everyone, don't worry about me I can take care of myself and this story will keep going until it is finished. *Several characters step out from behind the curtain including Janna, Omnitraxus Prime, Spongebob Narrator, and several new faces with one of them speaking up.*

Wakko: Can I do the recommendations?

WH: You know what sure, I think I need to change things a little.

SN: And I don't get to introduce things?!

WH: Look man you see... *engages in conversation while Wakko goes on.

Wakko: Camelot836 is thier name and posting MoonxToffee videos' is his game.

Dot: They have posted two so far, 'Moon/Toffee and Mon!Star - As Long As You're Mine' ( watch?v=JQ0by-Lq66E) and 'Moon/Toffee - Stars Will Never Fall - feat. Mon!Star AU' ( watch?v=o-XWtQv76z0), and our Hippie friend wishes to send as much love towards them as possible for the work they have done.

Yakko: And as a side note he is friends with a group known as 'Evolution Telavison' and their series 'Most Dangerous Jobs' a group akin to the crocodile hunter. Ironic as he never hunts crocodiles.

Ed: Trim the nails, make the T-rex pretty.

Lemongrab: Hey what are we doing here anyways. This lack of explanation is UNEXEPTABLE!

WH: Excuse me Narrator. *leaves Narrator grumbling* There is a friend of mine I mentioned before a certain RJWritingInk. When I saw what he was doing I waited to get a true grasp before a passed judgement. WELL I PASS IT NOW!

'Comet vs The Forces of Evil' By RJWritingInk: When people talk about Comet they usually don't refer to Moon's mother but actually a genderbent version of Star. Now I know what you are thinking isn't a genderbent fic over done for this fandom. Well... actually no. Most of these fics are single images or one shots or stories that just don't get very far and are not that well done a good deal of the time. This one however I am certain is going to make the same impact that I made on MoonxToffee; yes I am certain at this point you will be witnessing the makings of greatness here. The characters are well made, the story is well adapted, the settings is adjusted in just the right ways when they are not completely original. Even music is added into this story to add atmosphere to the situations, that's still something I don't see very often even though I get praise for it. Not to mention this person's writing is improving step by step, they are only 18 chapters in and you can already see the quality increasing. The story itself is basically season one of Star vs FOR NOW, but you can already see slight changes that will have major impacts. If you want to full story you need to be in it for the long game as this person has planned ahead for literal months for a story that will likely take years. 9/10 no questions asked.

Elephant in the room: Ahem?

Oh side note, you may notice his work may seem a bit similar to mine at times. Well don't complain about it at all as I am actually ok with it as he is making great work. Also I am *glances at 'Monster Love' by ambidextrious_witch and then at the first few chapter of 'A Tale of Moon and Monsters'* not entirely innocent of that myself. Just check out RJ's work people it's good. Also these characters appear in his intros and outros. He's a fan of mine so they decided to come over and help me out. Not sure if it's going to be permanent though. *turns to Lemongrab*

Lemongrab: Your explanation is... ACCEPTABLE!

Edd: *looks over Janna curiously* Soooo... you are...

Janna: Your and Marie's daughter? Yeah. And don't worry he bases you off of the 'teen series' story he has mentioned in the past as finds your relationship in canon to be... creepy.

SN: And now on with the story... and explain how the Warner Brothers got to do the intro and not me who has been with you since day one!

WH: Aw shit here we go again.

Mavis smiled as she overlooked Mina leading a group of Forest Barbarian raiders through a portal for some 'entertainment'. Mavis's goal tonight was Star Butterfly, notably what she had on her, but she wanted to keep Moon and Toffee too busy to answer any calls for help. And as luck would have it Star was separated from most of her friends at this very moment in the middle of the wilderness with no earth law enforcement officials nearby. 'This is almost too easy.' Mavis thought to herself in glee as the wand spoke up.

"Do not let your guard down your majesty; Star and her guardian are mighty warriors."

"Indeed, but fight hard and you will win this easily my child." Mavis chuckled as Dumnorix motioned to her that her group ready for action.

She did note oddly that the refined voice of the wand seemed more distant in the recent weeks; almost like the voice was coming from far away. But she paid the thought no heed as she cut a portal and led the group of warriors and Drakes through. 'You have something that I want and this time you will not get the best of me!'

Janna watched Ferguson draw the circle in the grove of trees with a smile admiring how the light caught his hair. It wasn't a straight up carrot orange, at least not anymore, but an almost gold highlighted red that worked well in twilight framing his freckled face. 'How did I not notice how cute that guy was before?' Janna thought to herself as she drew symbols in the ground placing items that the ritual demanded in the proper positions. Rituals like these were works of art not scientific calculations despite how most people in the modern day thought magic worked; relying as much on intent as ingredients and proper motions. As Janna was lost in her musing and the movements Ferguson spoke up.

"Ok so is this the actual location? The last area was a let down." Janna groaned in annoyance remembering how they had run around in circles looking for Bon Bon the Birthday clown before replying.

"Yes this is the actual location. Many places claimed to have him but he actually died out here in an old boom town just before it went bust, this was confirmed by Grimm. And if I am correct this grove is in the middle of the old cemetery." Ferguson nodded looking out into the surrounding swamp.

"So that's why there were all those head stones."

The area they were in right now was a boggy area where a main river emptied into Leaky lake, a miniature swamp delta with tombstones poking out of it at points. They were currently on a rise of land that was ringed by ancient black barked willow trees, further ringed by ferns and toadstools, and was dry in the center covered with clover and wild mint. Adding to the ambiance was a mist rising up from the surrounding swamp filled with the sounds of eerie wildlife. All in all a perfect place for a summoning in Janna's mind or in general; this even felt like a place where magic was still strong on earth. Smiling at this Janna pulled out Star's spell book and opened it up…

"Wait, is that Star's spell book?" Janna addressed Ferguson's question with a shrug.

"Well it has some magical symbols in here that work better than those JanJak gave us. So I was going to borrow it for a minute or so to write it out. It's no biggie right?" Glossarick popped out of the book to address her.

"No it's not, but I'm going to need some motivation before I…" Janna pulled out a jar of Marco's homemade tapioca pudding. "… and you got me. Page is right here, you may take it after you feed me." Glossarick opened his mouth with Janna feeding him the pudding. "mm mm mmmm!" Ferguson watched the exchange for a second before shrugging and getting back to work. As they finished up the basics and Janna got what she needed from the spell book Ferguson was struck with a thought.

"Hey Glossarick… do you have a bad feeling about anything at all tonight?" Glossarick and Janna stared at him for a second before Glossarick answered cryptically.

"Yes… but it is what is needed." He then took the book and flew off back to the campground.

"What was that about?" Ferguson replied to Janna with a shiver.

"I think a cat may have just walked across my grave." Janna moved over and gave him a light kiss.

"And I don't? I need to step up my game." They both chuckled at that. "Besides what could happen?"

A pair of sizable campfires ignited illuminating a stage where Ms. Dimartino and two other women stood beside her. Both of them wore Acorn Scout uniforms with one being a tall and excited if ditzy looking blond woman while the other was a tough, stout, and gruff looking woman who eyed the boys of the camp with suspicion. In the audience scouting groups of all varieties were seated in a large semicircular amphitheater numbering around 300 or so with an additional 50 or so helpers and adults behind them. The group of kids had been talking to each other but lighting the fires caught there attention allowing Ms. Dimartino to clear her throat and began speaking.

"Welcome scouts of all scouting groups to Camp Akela, our new hub for scouting activities. And also welcome to tonight's campfire!" The scouts gave out a cheer with the stout woman speaking up.

"Oh come on I thought you were excited to be here. Let's try this again, WELCOME TO TONIGHT'S CAMPFIRE!" The scouts gave out a much louder cheer that seemed to satisfy her and prompted Dimartino to speak up again.

"Alright kids, let's give a warm welcome to our cast for tonight…" Noises occurred in the background for a few seconds before music started. (Whose Line Is It Anyway? Theme Tune - Whose Line UK watch?v=0c0I2jlF2B8) "… the cub troupe." Various helpers, including Marco, Star, Alfonzo, and Chloe, danced onstage in various silly ways that the author of this story spent more than a month over trying to describe but then decided to just put in this line instead when he failed. (WH: *looking really disheveled* I'm done… just done. *drinks straight from a bottle of whiskey*) The Wandering Hippie twitched a little and sneezed getting Commander Hoo-ha's attention.

"Getting a bit cold for you?" The WH shook his head no as he replied.

"More like I have the feeling something's going on that I should be aware of but don't want to." Hoo-ha nodded before speaking.

"Say why are you here anyway? I don't recognize you as a counselor or scout."

"Well I am an eagle scout of The Tribe of Mic-o-say but that's further east. And I was brought here as the Chaplin which, let's face it, is basically a glorified therapist." Commander Hoo-ha grunted at this as River popping in next to them.

"Sorry I'm late, that one eagle beat me in a staring contest again." Hoo-ha and the Hippie looked at each other in confusion at this. "Say I've been wondering, is the camp's name Akela of Kidney because both of those names are at the front and I've heard people refer to it as both?" the Hippie spoke up.

"Yeah I was wondering the same thing honestly." Hoo-ha chuckled with a bit of a dark undertone to it as he responded.

"Well it was originally Camp Kidney back a few years ago, before the dark times hit scouting." This intrigued both River and The Hippie. "Due to a lack of membership in some areas and lack of budget in others scouting groups were flagging quite badly, this was further pushed due to some scout masters not being the role models they need to be." He then grumbled for a second about someone named Scout Master Lumpus. "So because of this we decided to merge all scouting groups together to tackle the various issues. It got off to a rocky start with some people being too stubborn to accept change, saying there should be a distinctive 'boy' and 'girl' scout. But now we are working out said issues and that involves renaming some things to get a new fresh start. Thus the name Kidney was replaced with Akela to appeal to more people." He noticed The Hippie and River were listening to him over the on going show at the moment. "Wait you really find this that interesting?" The two shrugged with Hippie speaking.

"Just wanting to fill in blanks man." Their attention was brought back to the campfire with Ms. Dimartino speaking up.

"Already everyone for tonight's first skit please welcome…"

'God I am so bored.' Ferguson thought to himself as he looked at their finished summoning circle and glanced over at Janna who was playing on her phone. They finished everything a bit early and were now waiting for Bon-Bon to show up which was taking forever. 'There's a phrase for this… something about watching a pot boil.' Ferguson thought to himself as another thought struck him. He turned towards Janna with a smile on his face. "Hey Janna?" Janna glanced up at him seeing the look on his face.

"Are you going to suggest what I think you're going to suggest?" Ferguson was taken aback at her deadpan reaction until she smirked playfully at him. "Well I'm bored too so let's spice things up."

They pulled each other into a make out session with Ferguson still excited that he actually had a girlfriend and could do this at all. After about a minute or two of this Janna suddenly pulled away and shoved his face down into her chest. 'Whoa already at second base, what brought this on?' Ferguson thought to himself as he attempted to 'cop a feel' but his hands were pushed away by Janna. 'What? Oh come on I was so close to finally feeling boobies.' Ferguson looked up in annoyance to see Janna was looking at something in the distance with a serious expression. 'Wait did Bon-Bon show up already… cause if so why is she looking in the opposite direction?' Ferguson immediately turned around with Janna hissing at him.

"Quite, there's someone out there." They both crawled over to the edge of the clearing and poked their heads past the trees to see what Janna had noticed.

"Are you sure this is where it was?" Mavis responded to the question.

"It was here not long ago but now it's gone. Gather everyone up and keep your eyes open while I search for it again, we need no one interfering."

Janna and Ferguson gazed out at Mavis and what appeared to be a group of Forest Barbarians and some sort of group of dragons with them. At the moment they were in a semi-circular defensive position around Mavis as she pulled out a…

"Janna, is that a wand?"

"I think it is and a pretty cool looking one to top it off."

"We need to tell the others, no doubt she is here for Star." He went to get up but Janna stopped him.

"They are on high alert; if we try to run they will hear us and I know they can outrun us if they are flying on those dragons. We need to silently wait until they go…"

"I AM BACK JUST LIKE MY CANDLES!" Janna and Ferguson looked over their shoulder to see Bon-Bon had appeared… at the worst possible time.

"Whose there!" Janna and Ferguson looked at each other in worry sweating slightly with Janna whispering.

"Shit!" The noise of warriors coming in their direction made them look back. "Double shit!" They looked back and forth for a second before Ferguson spoke.

"Janna, get out of here and tell Star what's going on." Janna turned to him and tensely replied.

"Nu uh, I'm not…"

"You're the better sneak and the more athletic of us so you can get there faster. Also they are going to find one of us at this point, the least I can do is act as a distraction for you and you know that." Janna went to respond but Ferguson was right, the only way one of them was getting out of here was if someone took their attention away and Janna was more likely to not be noticed and get to the camp first. "Just go Janna and don't worry about me, one of Star's friend's is too valuable for Mavis to just kill when she could ransom me." Janna nodded.

"Good luck Ferguson." She kissed him and quickly made off into the darkness with Ferguson smiling for a few seconds before standing up and getting their attention.

"Hey who are you guys?" As expected they immediately closed in and surrounded him with weapons. "Is this a mugging because I have nothing on me?" At this point Bon-Bon interfered again.

"Hello everyone, I noticed a crowd has formed just for me." The warriors took one look at Bon-Bon and screamed before running off screaming about a demon clown. "Well looks like they went to get their friends. Guess I am still as good as I was back then." Ferguson chuckled and motioned to where the group was.

"Well there's a whole crowd just outside waiting just for you."

"Alright, time to put on some smiles." He ghosted out of the clearing with Ferguson turning and running for it. 'Maybe I can get out of this as well; they seem to be scared of Bon-Bon.' As he got out of the clearing he heard the sound of magic quickly followed by an agonizing scream from Bon-Bon. He paused out of reflex upon hearing this allowing a dragon to emerge blocking his path followed by two more surrounding him. One of the warriors dropped from dragon back and smiled at Ferguson as she spoke to him.

"Where are you going now little man? Our chief very much wishes to speak with you."

'Oh shit!'

"So this is the one you found in addition to the clown ghost?" Everyone shuddered at the mention of that as the warrior replied to Mavis.

"Yep, no one else at all." Mavis glanced at Ferguson stepping up to him slowly while he silently sweated.

He had seen Mavis in the past multiple times but something was different about her now. Whether it be the spider like armor, the wand giving off a toxic green glow, or the sharp unearthly look in her eyes he wasn't sure. But whatever it was he was second guessing his decision to just surrender to her as she seemed like she meant business. She looked him over for a few seconds before glancing down at her wand and smiled speaking to him.

"So, who might you be child." Ferguson sweated for a moment before coming up with a name.

"Bartok, I am Bartok. Is this mugging because I have nothing on me." The warriors stared at him for a second before chuckling with Mavis replying.

"Oh we are not here for you 'Bartok', but I must ask what were you doing out here and where are your friends?" Ferguson calmed down slightly thinking he was in the clear for now.

"I was trying to do a séance for Bon-Bon the birthday clown but I think you killed him." Everyone shuddered with a random warrior speaking up.

"Why would you summon such a horrify entity, ghost clowns are horrifying abominations." Taking the incentive to distract them Ferguson replied.

"Well last I checked they are not, this guy was really cool in his previous life putting on shows for entire towns to entertain people." As the warrior went to reply Mavis silenced him speaking up herself.

"Well it matters not now, now finish answering my question boy."

"The question? I just answered that." The wand suddenly flashed in a pattern prompting Mavis to frown.

"You wouldn't happen to be distracting me by forgetting that I asked you where your friends are?" Ferguson shook his head.

"Oh nonononono I just forgot you asked that part of your question. I was doing this myself as no one wanted to be with me." Mavis's frown went away to be replaced by a smile.

"Interesting. You wouldn't happen to know Star Butterfly now would you?" Ferguson gulped silently and hoped his voice didn't betray him.

"Who's that?" One of the warriors, and aged red-head woman who appeared rather small, spoke up.

"My lady I believe we are wasting our time with this one. We should get moving." Some of the warriors consented… but stopped as Mavis started to laugh. It was low and normal at first but grew creepy and high pitched as it went on almost like a hyena's at one point. As Ferguson was trying to figure out what was going on Mavis caught him in a band of green light levitating him off the ground. He tried to struggle but found he couldn't move as Mavis spoke up.

"You think I wouldn't recognize you Ferguson, I've seen you with Star multiple times in past as a close confidant of her's. Now if you want to get out this in one piece…" She pulled Ferguson close until they were face to face. "… tell me where she is and where your friends are." Ferguson began shaking as everyone else took a few steps back. He gulped again as he stared into her cold glassy eyes finding himself unable to remain silent.

"A-at the campsite j-just half a mile or so a-away. I-I did come here b-by myself t-though." He pointed to where the campsite was with Mavis smiling setting him down.

"Now that wasn't so hard now was it? Get moving everyone we have a princess to find." The warriors moved around quickly getting onto their dragons. "Now I bet your thinking that you are going to come with us to act as a hostage right?" The way Mavis phrased that question suddenly made Ferguson very afraid.

"W-what d-do y-you m-mean b-by…" He then felt something sharp pierce his back.

"Sadly you would only slow us down so we are just going to deal with you here and now. I'll give the princess your regards though."

"That was for burning off my beard boy." The figure who spoke withdrew the dagger from Ferguson's back letting him fall onto the swampy ground.

It hurt. It was easily the most painful thing Ferguson had ever experienced and he couldn't even scream because the air was flowing out of his lung just as fast as he could breathe in. That is until blood began clotting up his lung making it difficult to breathe at all. He pulled his head out of the swampy ground enough to see the dragons silently taking off towards the campground. As they got out of sight his head flopped back down into the mud and Ferguson was expecting himself to cry or beret himself for not doing something more. But he honestly felt eerily calm and while it was getting harder and harder to breath the pain in his back was actually subsiding a little. 'So this is how it ends huh? Well at least I managed to get a girlfriend who was my best friend as well, something akin to Star and Marco.' He chuckled to himself coughing up some blood but pulled his head back up when he heard footsteps coming towards him.

"Janna!" Ferguson's word was accompanied by a cough of blood as she rushed over to his side taking a look at the stab wound. Janna was so laid back that even Ferguson had not seen her emote much. Although he had seen her as mischievous, excited, confused, shocked, annoyed, and even nervous that one time she accepted his confession. But this was the very first time he had seen her scared as she looked at the stab mark.

"No. nononononono." Janna actually sat there for a second just spiraling at what she saw. "S-she's never done that. Mavis has never done that. I knew she could have done that but she just never has…" Ferguson reached up cupping Janna's face in his hand making her stop with them just looking at each other for a second before Janna relaxed into his hand. Ferguson let her relax for a second before speaking up in a joking manner.

"Oh come on Janna *cough* don't tell me you don't have a plan for this." Janna opened her eyes showing no humor at all.

"Seriously you're lungs are filling up with blood and your making jokes!" Ferguson continued in a joking manner.

"Well someone has to lighten the mood. *cough cough* And besides I thought you were planned for anything." Janna spluttered for a second before answering.

"How could I have planned for this?! You think I would honestly plan on you getting stabbed and bleeding out like…" Then Janna seemed to remember something. "Be right back." She ran back to the grove of trees and reappeared with her bag. "Just lie on your front and don't move!" Ferguson nodded and remained still as Janna took some stuff out of her bag.

After she messed around with the items for a minute he felt his shirt being lifted up and some sort of cool numbing paste get smeared onto the stab wound. "Night mada hear mi plea, Tek waah broken an mek it whole." Janna repeated the Jamaican patois phrase as she finished smearing the paste on and unstopperd something. He felt a light sprinkling on his back that gave off small electrical sparks. He then heard the sound of a rattle being shaken and a light drum being beaten to the repeated chant wiht the sparks coalescing on the wound followed shortly by an intense itching around said wound. Ferguson knew at this point that Janna was using magic and remained as still as possible to let the magic do its work. An intense itching and stretching sensation came from the wound as Janna moved around him shaking the rattle and beating the drum with an intensity he had never heard from her before. 'Damn she… really does love me.' Ferguson couldn't help but smile at this as the wound completely sealed up prompting him to cough a few more times clearing his lungs of blood. As he went to sit up Janna immediately kneeled down next to him.

"You good man?" Ferguson looked up into her concerned watery eyes and smiled before gently kissing her.

"It's ok Ang Anino, a healing spell is easy for a witch of your caliber after all." Janna hugged him and kissed him with a fierce intensity for a few seconds before pulling away.

"Dude, I actually thought I was going to lose you for a minute there." She sniffed and wiped away a tear smiling. "I should learn not to underestimate myself." The two chuckled before Ferguson got serious.

"Wait, you were supposed to go warn Star about these guys why are you still here?" Janna smiled her typical attitude returning.

"Well I couldn't just leave you behind man, you're my bestfriend and boyfriend. Besides I remembered that I was able to get in contact with someone who can send reinforcements." She held up a small two way radio that made Ferguson smile.

"Dude if those guys are getting involved Mavis is screwed."

Yakko: You heard it hear folks, it's time once again for...

Audience: Guest reviws!

Shiranai Atsune: Thank you for sticking with me this whole time. Hopefully and can keep going strong.

The Book of Eli: Chloe is in the clear now. And yes that is a red flag you should be worried about. As for Lana and Lola of course they would be like that, Lana loves lizards and Lola would be excited over meeting a princess. As for a princess pagent... maybe, not sure though.

Guest: Honestly if I had kept up my original pace the story would be over by now, which frustrates me to no end. However I do have plenty of stories in mind, if you want answers just check out my profile of what I might be planning out.
