"Ah the Windblume Festival! How I missed you!"
Venti ran around Mondstadt, taking in the festival. He couldn't wait for it, especially when it was going to start today. He turned behind, as he heard footsteps.
"You tone deaf bard, don't run off without us!" Paimon shouted at Venti, once she and Aether caught up to him.
"Heh! Sorry about that." He apologized, smirking. "Now are you ready for the festival, Aether?" He asked, getting in front of Aether.
"Yes but what's the festival about?" Aether asked.
"Yeah! What is the festival about, we didn't get an answer at all!" Paimon joined in.
Venti opened his mouth. "Well you see the festival is about...SEE YA!" Than he ran off, leaving both Aether and Paimon shock.
"W-WHAT?! YOU TONE DEAF BARB COME BACK HERE! YOU CAN'T SAY THAT AND RUN OFF!"
"VENTI!"
"So everything's ready for the festival?" Jean asked, sitting down on her chair.
"Of course we have the games, food, prizes, and decorations ready." Lisa explained.
"Did you double check in case? And about the guards too-"
"You know, Jean. Maybe you should take a break, relax a bit." Kaeya joined in, sighing a bit at the end. "You always have a habit of overworking yourself." He continued.
"But I have to protect Mondstadt and have sure everyone is safe-" Jean said, before getting interrupted.
"But that's no excuse to stress yourself. Let me handle the work for together, okay?" Lisa suggested.
Jean sighed. "Fine."
Amber was running, carrying a load of paper in her arms. However, Venti ran in front of her and the two bumped into each other. The papers all scattered around her and him.
She grabbed her head, in a bit of pain. He did the same.
"Sorry about that- Oh Venti! Why were you running?" She asked, standing up now.
"Running away from...Aether." He said, his eyes widening a bit. Amber said nothing, as she pointed behind Venti.
Aether was behind him.
"Hahahah...I'm doomed." He joked.
"Don't run off like that ever again! Hmph, if you hadn't ran into Amber, we would not have found you!" Paimon exclaimed.
"Hahaha! That would be a good thing." He laughed.
While Paimon and Aether gave Venti a mouthful, Amber looked at the clouds. Today was bright, prefect for the festival. She gave a little smile at the clouds.
When all of an sudden, the clouds turned dark and gloomy. Aether stopped, as he looked up at the sky. Venti did the same, clearly confused too.
"H-Hey what happened to the sky! It turned dark all of a sudden!" Paimon said, shaken up at this.
A diamond portal like shape formed into the sky, it was red. Aether's body began to shake, he looked to Amber and Venti.
"We need to go." He said, his voice shaking slightly.
Someone came out of the portal. An woman.
"A-Aether what's g-going on?" Paimon got more scared as the seconds passed.
"WE NEED TO GO NOW!" He shouted.
"Go." Venti spoke up, his eyes still focused on the unknown woman. He summoned his bow, and prepared it.
Aether grabbed Amber's hand, and ran.
Author Note: okay so i decided to use the Windblume Festival event since it's coming up and all. i know this won't happen at all, so please don't think that this will happen in the actual event. i will perhaps update this story once the event comes out since more information and dialogue about the event. well i think that's all, i hope you guys enjoyed this bonus.
