Barbara took a little sneak peek at the audience. There was so much people, more than she expected. She immediately backed away, feeling nervous now.
She eventually fell down to the ground, needing some air. She felt even more nervous by the amount of people here.
"Barbs! Barbs! Where are you at?" Xinyan shouted out, wandering around.
"I'm down here..." Barbara raised her hand up, sitting down on the ground.
"What are you doing down there?!" Xinyan quickly got down to her level.
"I'm nervous." She admitted.
"Don't worry about it, people get nervous from time to time but eventually you gotta take a leap and do it." She cheerfully said to her.
"But what if they don't like my performance? What if I'm not good enough for them?!" She said, her voice shaking.
"Wha-WHO SAID YOU'RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH?!" Xinyan immediately shouted, Barbara backed away from a bit.
"WHO SAID THAT?! WHEN I FIND THEM, I'M GOING TO-"
"Stop shouting, let me explain please!"
She turned silent upon Barbara saying that.
"Back in Mondstadt, I was their idol and I would always tell myself after someone listened to my song. 'How long will that smile of theirs last? Will they enjoy my song or not?' I was doubtful, I admit it." She explained.
"I'm sorry."
Xinyan took a deep breath in and out. "Barbs. You're too hard on yourself, you're not alone in this. You got me, we can do this. Together. You'll make everyone happy, so don't you dare put yourself down. You're amazing, Barbara!" She encouraged her.
Barbara looked at her, and stood up. She dusted her dress off, before looking at Xinyan. "Okay, let's do this!" She exclaimed.
"Diona, over here!" Lillie shouted, waving her hand back and forth. The small cat girl spotted her, especially her table. She ran back over to it, stopping and climbing on the chair.
"What did you get?" She asked her, a bit curious.
"A bread roll, two exactly. Here." She slide one of them to her. She took it, and took a bite.
"Hm! Thank you!" She thanked her, taking another bite into the roll.
"Don't thank me, I was just trying to find ingredients for some stuff. Oh and Lillie, I found out something very important to me!" Diona began to whisper over to Lillie.
"What is it?" She asked.
"I found out that there's a ba-"
"Attention everyone!"
Lillie looked over to the stage, Diona's ears stood up at their ends. She looked over to the stage, there was someone with a microphone.
"I would like to thank you all for attending this event! This wouldn't have been possible without you all! Now, I'll be passing the microphone to Barbara!" The captain said, passing the microphone to Barbara.
Diona nearly took a running start, if she hadn't realized Lillie was by her side.
"As the captain said, I appreciate everyone coming here tonight! This makes me happy to see all kinds of people here, waiting for us to perform. I'm sorry to cut it short, but I hope you all enjoy!" She said, waving and smiling at everyone. She passed the microphone back to the captain, and ran backstage.
"Diona, this is going to be amazing!" Lillie squealed, with a smile on her face.
"Hahahah, yeah..." Diona's ears flopped down.
"Now with further due, Xinyan and Barbara please!" The captain said, before moving out of the stage.
The curtains gave way to Xinyan and Barbara, Xinyan was behind drums.
"ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR!"
"Why are we down here? We should be watching the performance."
"Performance?"
"Yeah. The performance that the captain advertised. I heard they're the people performing, are famous in Johto. They just appeared one day and bam!"
Hilbert kept on explaining, as he walked along with Tartaglia.
"That's interesting." Tartaglia mumbled to himself.
"I really want to see the show for myself, so I'll be off. See ya Tartaglia!" Hilbert said, running ahead. As he reached the stairs, Tartaglia suddenly shouted.
"Wait!"
He stopped.
"What's the matter, Tart?" He asked, turning his head to him. He began walking over to him.
"You can call me Childe, you know." He started.
"Okay? Is that all?"
Childe stopped in front of Hilbert. The kid was confused and worried. This wasn't like him at all. He took off his mask, showing his face. He was smiling.
"...This is for your own good."
That smile turned into a frown.
He grabbed Hilbert's jacket, and dragged him away from the stairs.
"HEY! TARTAGL-CHILDE WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! LET ME GO!" Hilbert screamed, struggling.
He walked over to his door, and opened it. Hilbert punched him, making him let go of him.
"Crap! MARACTUS WHERE ARE YOU?!" Hilbert shouted out in panic, checking his pockets. Childe grabbed Hilbert again, but instead he threw him inside his room.
Hilbert hit the drawer with a thud, hurting his back.
The door shut, he forgot about his pain and ran to the door.
"CHILDE! LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT THIS ISN'T FUNNY!" He pounded on the door.
"There's enough food and water for you in there. Make sure they last. And whatever you heard outside this room, don't you dare open the door."
Hilbert turned silent, before furiously kicking the door. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU PLANNING TO DO?! IS THIS WHY YOU SAID WHAT YOU SAID?! DAMN IT CHILDE!" He shouted out again.
"...Shit, guess I have to barricade the door instead."
"WHAT?!"
He grabbed the knob and tried turning it, nothing. Something was holding down the knob.
"Goodbye Hilbert, I'll come back to get you out of there."
"Childe no! Come back!"
Lillie had never watched a performance like this. Ever since she moved to Kanto, she began experiencing the joys of the region. She enjoyed it dearly.
Speaking of which, maybe since she was going back to Alola, she could ask her mother and Professor Burnet to help Diona. Lusamine could help give her a home and some shelter, while Burnet could help her get back home.
It hurt Lillie a little when Diona explained her situation. A child that young getting separated from her home.
Speaking of Diona.
"Diona, are you thirsty I could get you someth-" She looked back at her chair.
Empty.
"...Diona?"
The bar was quiet. Diluc had never seen it like this, expect for closing times. He expected a lot of customers tonight, but there were none.
The door swung open, Diluc immediately stood up straight.
"Oh so you're here."
He recognized that voice.
He walked out of the counter. "Diona..?" He said.
And there she was. Diona. Her face was filled with disgusted or distasted. "Hello Diluc." She said.
"How are you here? I thought you were safe from the attack!" He exclaimed.
"Attack? I don't know anything about a attack! But I think you know why I'm here, I'm here to destroy this bar." She explained, summoning a bow into her arms.
"Diona-"
"Don't Diona me! I'm going to destroy the wine industry, even if it's not from my world! No matter what! Nothing will change that!" She shouted out.
"We don't have to do this, let's just talk." He said.
"NO! I WILL-"
Someone was coming to the bar.
"Diona, hide behind the counter now." He coldly said.
"Wh-What?!" She asked. Diluc gently grabbed her arm, and walked her behind the counter. Even if she wanted to struggle, she couldn't.
The door opened.
Childe walked into the bar, Diluc was there cleaning a cup.
"Ah! Diluc, right?" He said.
"...What are you doing here?" He asked, not wasting time.
"...That's very rude, don't you think?" He started to walk at the counter. "But I guess you don't have to talk with me, huh?" He summoned his bow behind his back, it quickly transformed into a sword.
He smiled at Diluc.
Diluc hid his claymore behind his back, Diona held her breath.
"But I need answers."
Childe took out his sword and pointed it at Diluc. He swung his claymore at Childe, destroying half of the counter. Diona, underneath, immediately moved to a different spot.
Childe got out of the way, dodging the attack. Diluc kept rushing forward, his claymore burning with Pryo. One of the attacks scratched Childe, but he countered it by attacking Diluc with his sword.
"UGH!" Diluc cried out, getting knocked back a bit. Childe kicked him across the bar, making Diluc slam against a wall.
He immediately forced himself up, his claymore summoning back into his hands. He weeped off blood from his nose, and deflected a attack.
"Question one! How did you get here?" He asked him, his sword scratching against his claymore.
"I don't know!" He shouted out, kicking Childe right in the stomach. He held his ground down, using his boots.
"...Fine. Question two!" Childe shouted out, lunging at Diluc.
"Are you against the Fatui?" He asked, Diluc holding down with his claymore.
"I'm not going to answer that." Diluc let out Pryo and it directly hit Childe. He backed away, but he was smiling.
"...Hahahah. OH OKAY! LET'S DO THIS!" He shouted out. A sudden burst of Hydro appeared from him, knocking Diluc back. When it vanished, Childe was now wearing a purple scarf.
"Wait Hydro and Electro-"
Something slashed him, he flew to the left. Dozens of wooden tables and chairs were destroyed, but at least one of them soften the damage a bit.
Diona couldn't do it. She needed to do something. She couldn't sit around and do nothing.
Her grip on her bow tighten, and she crawled out of the dark space.
"Question three!"
She stood up, and took a peek to find Diluc. The man was pointing his sword at him, surrounding him.
Diona prepared her arrows, and took a deep breathe. She ran out and shot five arrows at the man.
The man instantly noticed and started to spin his sword. He blocked every single one of them, but Diluc slashed his claymore at the distracted man.
Diona immediately ran over to Diluc and saw how bad he was.
"Diona, I told you to stay-"
"Shut up! You're hurt and I need to do something about it!"
'I got to heal him, but how?! There's nothing around me I mix and use to heal him!' She thought to herself.
She suddenly had a idea, she put Diluc inside a Cryo shield. He stood up, using his claymore to do so.
"What is this?" He asked.
Suddenly, Childe lunged at Diona. The girl ducked down, but the Electro shocked her. Diluc immediately attacked Childe, slamming him down onto the ground.
"Is it over? Is he done for?!" Diona asked, surprised.
Hilbert grabbed a bag of chips, and opened it. He was upset, but he couldn't do anything at the moment.
And unfortunately, the only thing he could do was just wait for Childe to come back and free him. Or anyone else to come downstairs and notice whatever was barricading the door.
And then, of course free him from the room.
He drifted his eyes over to the clock. 10:09 PM. The show should be over by then.
Everything was slowly starting to shake. He blinked, thinking it was his imagination. It wasn't.
The room was shaking, he stood up from the bed.
BOOM!
The ship rocked, and he hit his head on the drawer. "OW! WHY IS IT ALWAYS WITH THE DRAWER?!" He asked himself.
He got up from the floor, and went over to the door. Maybe he was freed and he would demand answers from Childe.
He turned the knob.
...Nothing.
"DAMN IT!"
But then, he wondered to himself. 'What was that shaking?' He asked himself.
"What was that?!"
"I don't know, but calm everyone down! I'll talk to the captain!" Xinyan ran off, taking her guitar with her. Barbara nodded her head, and grabbed the microphone. People were already in distress.
"Everyone, please calm down! I'm sure whatever that was, the captain will solve it! But please, now's not the time to panic! We must stay calm!" She yelled out to the microphone.
Barbara tried calming them down, but-
"BARBS! GET DOWN!"
She was slammed down onto the ground, making the microphone fall to the ground.
People were screaming. Running. She was scared to open her eyes now, but when she did, she was strike with fear. There something, or someone, was floating. Their armor was massive and bulky. He floated down to the ground, taking out his sword.
Xinyan took out her guitar, suddenly filled with Pryo. "Barbs, be behind my back. You can heal, right?" She whispered to her.
She nodded her head, Xinyan helped her get up.
"Good, seems like we're going to be in a challenge for sure..." She said.
The thing turned its head to the both of them, and in a flash, it was behind them. Barbara ran to her right, while Xinyan to her right. It strike down the stage, leaving a massive hole on the ground. Barbara summoned her catalyst, and scrambled to get away from it. It slashed her with its sword, tearing her dress.
Xinyan took out her guitar, and hit the thing with it. She let out a burst of Pryo at it, drawing it away from Barbara.
"Don't you dare hurt her!" She shouted at it. She looked down at Barbara, still alive but she was bleeding.
"CLEFAIRY, REFLECT!"
An shield appeared in front of Xinyan, blocking the thing from attacking her. A girl ran up to her, her Clefairy coming along. "Are you alright?!" She asked her, looking for any injuries.
"I'm fine, but Barbara-"
The girl turned her head to Barbara, and immediately ran over to her. She grabbed her, and put her on her shoulders. "Ugh..." Barbara groaned, her eyes slowly opening.
Xinyan looked back at the shield, it was beginning to shatter. "Get away from here!" She shouted at the girl. She nodded her head, and started running away, but her Clefairy chose to stay. Xinyan prepared herself as the shield was beginning to break, her grip on her guitar. Clefairy pouted, a bit scared but mad.
"TIME FOR RETRIBUTION!"
The thing was hit by a flaming eagle, it took her by surprise. Someone helped her get up, it was a man with red hair. "Hey, are you okay? We need to fight off him." He said, as a girl went up to her.
"Hm...Yup, she's good, Diluc!" She explained, just by looking at her.
Lillie ran down to the third floor, carrying Barbara all the way there. They eventually stopped and took a rest, letting Barbara down onto the floor. "I...I'm bleeding, aren't I?" She asked Lillie.
The girl tried not looking at the large gushing wound on her leg. "No, you aren't. You're going to be fine, okay?" She said to her.
"IS ANYONE OUT THERE?! LET ME OUT PLEASE!"
Lillie and Barbara looked down the hall. "Hey um, maybe see who that is?" Barbara mumbled to Lillie.
She ran and eventually found a chair blocking a door. She moved it, and out of the door, a boy kicked the door open. "FINALLY!" He yelled out, letting out a sigh of relief. He looked at Lillie.
"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" He pulled her into a hug, making the girl surprised.
"Wait what were you doing in there?!" She pulled away from the hug.
"Oh. Well, first of all, I'm Hilbert and Childe threw me in that room. Once I find that guy, I'm going to-"
"Wait!"
Lillie interrupted him. "Can you please find a medkit!" She asked him.
"A medkit? What, is someone dying or what?" He joked around.
Lillie gave him a glare. "OKAY OKAY I WILL! I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" He said, running off.
"Geez, she was rude. Maybe the basement? I remember there was some..." He mumbled to himself.
Lillie just let a sigh, before going back to Barbara. She was still there, and trying to treat her own wound with her powers. She looked up at Lillie. "Barbara, you're going to be fine, just hang on!" She said to her.
"Hm. Okay..."
"WE'RE SO CLOSE! WE NEED TO DEFEAT HIM!"
Childe was beginning to show signs of tiredness, his movements starting to weaken as his powers did too. Dliuc thought it was maybe because of wielding Electro and Hydro. If they kept this up longer, then Childe would eventually give up.
Hilbert eventually got down to the basement, this is where he would usually get dressed for his 'work'. It was quiet in here, all of the workers must have been busy.
"Ugh, at least Unova won't be stuffy as Sinnoh was. How can Cyrus even stand that place at all?!"
"Well he was born there, so he is more used to the region."
Hilbert stopped and took cover behind a box. He guess he wasn't alone.
"Well nevermind that, the Koffings?"
"Right here."
He peeked out to see what was going on. There a man was holding a box filled with several Koffings. Another man was there too, he grabbed the box out of the man's hands.
"Ha! This was a wonderful plan! All of those people will be running and screaming once the Koffings can off!" The green hair man exclaimed.
"Hm, yes. Anyways I have the Pokemon ready to teleport us away."
"...Sometimes I wonder why you're working for us in the first place with that attitude of yours."
Hilbert searched his pockets, for Maractus. And finally, in one of his jacket pockets, he found her. He stood up from behind that box.
"Wh-WHO IS HE?! YOU SAID NO ONE WAS DOWN HERE!"
"No one was, he must have wandered down here!"
"Maractus, come out!" Hilbert shouted, letting her out. She popped out, and prepared for battle. The green haired man stopped the another man from drawing his sword out. He walked a bit closer to Hilbert, before taking a step out.
"...I know you. You're that ticket boy! Gosh, you look so dirty with those blue clothes on!"
"Wow rude... But what are you two doing down here?! I'm pretty sure you know this is restricted only for workers, so why are you down here?!" He demanded the two.
"Allow me to explain about TR-"
"No. No. I'll explain myself."
He looked back at Hilbert.
"My name is Ghetsis. And I don't suppose you know about Team Plasma?"
"Wait...Ghetsis Harmonia from Team Plasma?! Wait then, that means I let you in the ship..."
"Ah yes, you did. But either way, I was going to find other way to get inside so it didn't matter!"
Hilbert was silent, but he was furious.
"I will take you down!"
Ghetsis blinked, looking back at his partner then back at him.
"Take me down? BWAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHHA!" He laughed, making Hilbert's spine chill.
"OH WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO WITH THAT MARACTUS OF YOURS?! TAKE DOWN KYRUEM?!" He kept on laughing.
"Ghetsis."
The another man interrupted him, becoming cold towards Ghetsis.
"...Well this won't matter to you anyways. No one will know I was here, they're all distracted by that Hydro user. But I'll tell you something boy, big things are coming and once they do, everything will be different from now on." He explained, huffing.
"Wh-What do you mean?!"
Ghetsis snapped his fingers, before yelling.
"Koffing, Explosion!"
"Beheeyem, Teleport!"
In a flash, Ghetsis and the man disappeared. Hilbert tried reaching out to them, but they were gone. But he looked at the Koffings and
Xinyan looked down at Childe's unconscious body, it was finally over. The fight was over, and they had won. Diluc was searching his body for some reason, Xinyan looked at him in confusion.
"What are you doing, he's unconscious we're not going to rob someone in that state-"
"A Delusion..."
He stated, as he held up a orb. It looked like a Vision but it looked different.
"Ay Diluc, what's the matter? What's that?" Diona joined in, healing all of her wounds already.
"I'm going to question him about this..." He whispered to himself, before putting away the Delusion in his pocket.
"Everything ended well, I need to find Barbara and that girl now-"
BOOM!
"Eh?" Diona looked down at the floor, as she felt everything shake. "Hey is he awake or not?! Is he going to attack us again or not?!" She shouted, panicking.
"He's knocked out cold, this isn't his doing!" Xinyan exclaimed.
"Wait...do you smell something?" Diluc turned to them.
"Wait, I-I do! It's like fire or gunpowder?!" Diona exclaimed, her ears perking up now.
"We need to go NOW-"
