"Hey!"

"Qiqi!"

"Come over here!"

Liza and Tate shouted at the little girl, making her turn to her. The two seemed to be out of the gym, shopping at the Lilycove Department Store. She walked over to them, watching her bags as she did.

"Yes?" She asked them, tilting her head to the side a bit.

"Would you like us to give you a ride to Mt. Pyre?"

"Would you like us to give you a ride to Mt. Pyre?"

They both said at the same time, Tate repeating at the end however.

She nodded her head at them. "Yes. Qiqi doesn't know how to get to Mt. Pyre sometimes..." She mumbled to herself.

"So you got lost? Don't worry, we're bring you to Mt. Pyre!" He said, smiling.

Liza sent out a Wailmer, the Pokemon crashing on the water. Qiqi got doused in water, while Tate looked at her than back at Liza.

"Liza, we gotta worry! Qiqi got wet!" He shouted at her. The girl nodded, in which Tate picked up Qiqi. She gave her to Liza, placing her on Wailmer.

She looked at the sky and the sea. It was very wide opened. Much like Liyue.

The twins jumped onto Wailmer, going to command the Pokemon.

"Wailmer, Surf!" Tate commanded, the Pokemon began to move at a slow pace rate.

"Hm slow ride...So Qiqi!" Liza turned to the little girl.

"What did you buy?" Tate asked, already read Liza's mind.

She looked at the bags. They were filled with food for the most part. "The old couple asked me to get them some stuff." She said, taking out a Lava Cookie. "Most of its food." She continued to say, taking a bite of the cookie.

"Isn't the cookie for the couple?" She asked, raising her eyebrows at Qiqi.

"No. The Lava Cookie is for myself..." She said, taking another bite.

"Ah!"

It was silent, as the ride kept going. Qiqi wondered why the two weren't scared of her. People were normally scared of her back at Liyue.

"Qiqi. We don't care if you're a zombie."

"What matters is that you feel welcome here."

"Your situation is a rare one, but a scary one."

The twins spoke to her, making Qiqi blink in confusion. She didn't remember how they could finish their sentences.

"We can read our minds!" Liza said to her, not bothering to turn to her.

"Oh." She forgot that. She should write that in her book later to remember.

Wailmer stopped, and the three were at Mt. Pyre. '...That was quicker than expected' The girl thought to herself, jumping down from the Whale Pokemon.

Liza and Tate waved bye to her, she waved back slowly. And she walked inside the place.

As usual, the Ghost Pokemon hanged around the place. Most of them stayed close to their gravestones, but some would wander around and accidentally scare travelers.

She took out her sword, facing off against a Duskull. "Ah..." She said to herself, before killing off the spirit with her sword.

This Duskull has been causing trouble around Mt. Pyre, for travelers and the other Ghost Pokemon around here.

The wild Pokemon fell down to the ground, slowly vanishing.

She put away her sword and sat down next to the Ghost. "Qiqi is sorry...Hopefully, you can find peace." She said to the Duskull. It vanished and she stood up, taking her bags. She began to walk away.

"Oh dear! What if Qiqi gets lost again? Oh my, we didn't send her any Pokemon this time!" The old woman said, clearly worried.

"Darling, Qiqi will be fine. She'll find a way back as she always does!" The old man said, trying to cheer her up.

"But what if-"

"Qiqi is here."

The two gasped and looked at Qiqi, the girl seemed to be standing there for some time now.

"Oh my! Qiqi, did you get lost at the store?" The woman asked.

She nodded her head, remembering as she got lost in the Pokemart section. She should probably not tell the old couple about what she saw on TV.

"Oh bless the people who helped you on your way back!"

"Oh Qiqi, you're wet! Stay here for a bit and get cleaned up."

She just nods her head to the couple.

2 Hours Later

Qiqi is dry, and instead of not taking her book with her, she does this time. She does have admit it was stupid of her to do that. But in Hoenn, you can't get lost and end up near a cliff.

The old couple want to talk to her, she knows it's either going on a task and food for her.

"Now Qiqi, I think it's time you should borrow one of our Pokemon to surf around." The woman says, kneeling down to Qiqi's eye level.

She pulled out a Pokeball from her pocket, and gave it to the girl.

"Oh is that Azurmarill's Pokeball?" The man said.

"Yes it is. Qiqi, take good care of her please?" The woman said, while Qiqi looked at the ball.

"Okay..." She nodded, putting away the Pokeball.

"Oh Qiqi, if you have enough time, could you go to Pacifidlog Town to pick something up for us?" The woman asked her, getting the bags from Qiqi.

"Medications?"

"Ah she read your mind, honey. Yes one of us normally go to Pacifidlog Town to get medication."

"Okay. Qiqi will get it."

She walks downstairs, intending to leave the place and do her task. But in one of those floors, there's a man. He's dressed up in all black, Qiqi didn't even realize he was there. He's standing in front of one of the graves, holding flowers. He doesn't notice Qiqi at all.

"Excuse me, sir." She softly says.

"EEP! YOU WON'T TAKE MY SOUL GHOST-" He screams before looking at the little girl. He looks confused.

"Little girl, where are your parents..?" He asks her.

"..."

Qiqi remains silent, and shrugs her shoulders. "I don't remember..."

The man takes the hint, clearly sadden now. "Hey listen, sometimes it's very traumatizing for a kid like you going through-"

"It's fine. Qiqi is fine." She tried shaking it off.

"...Qiqi?"

The man looks shocked, like he's heard of her name before.

"Qiqi will be off now." She begins to walk away from him. 'I wonder why I talked to him...' She wonders to herself.

"Wait scamp!"

She turns to him.

"The name's Archie, scamp! Where is a kid like you heading off to?"

"..."

Qiqi wonders whatever or not she should trust this man. "Qiqi is heading to Pacifidlog Town to get medications." She says.

"Medication? Do you have a Pokemon on you? If not, I'll give you a ride there with my Sharpedo." He suggested.

"I have a Azurmarill...But I have never ride a Sharpedo before." She says. She heard Sharpedo's speed was of 75 mph, making it extremely fast.

"Well come on kiddo! I'll take you there to Pacifidlog!" He says, walking ahead of Qiqi. She halts, finding this a bit too suspicious.

"...How does Qiqi know you won't hurt or harm her?"

Archie turns to her, suddenly confused but a bit angry. "Hurt you? Of course not! I would never hurt a child!" He explains. "You know what, let's make a promise. I, Archie, will never hurt Qiqi. Your turn, scamp!" He kneels down to Qiqi's eye level, and sticking his pinky finger out.

"Okay...I, Qiqi, will not hurt Archie." She says, making a pinky promise.

"Great! Now come on!"

Archie sends out his Sharpedo into the water, as Qiqi writes something down into her book. She keeps writing down, remembering to keep track of everything that's happened so far today.

She flips to one of the pages. It's a herb list. 'Liyue...' She thinks to herself, she wonders how the city is.

Qiqi looks up from the book, seeing the Sharpedo. She stands up and walks over to Archie.

"I'll pick you up-"

She jumps onto the Pokemon, making him stare off. He looks at her, and quickly goes back to his happy facade.

"Hahahha...That was something." He mumbles to himself, getting on top of his Pokemon. He grabs hold of the fin, and looks back at her.

"Hang on Qiqi! My Sharpedo is a feisty one, in and out of battle!" He shouts out. "SHARPEDO SURF!"

It happens in flash.

She didn't expect Sharpedo to be this fast. She tries hanging onto Archie, her tag is nearly blowing off and her body is dangling.

Archie doesn't notice, still letting his Pokemon ride.

Qiqi can't hang on for much longer.

She lets go, he looks back and realizes his mistake.

"QIQI!"

Shr opens her eyes and realizes she's underwater. She needs to swim up immediately. She starts kicking her legs up, reaching the light above.

When suddenly, a Sharpedo grabs hold of her hand. Out of instinct, she summons her Herald Of Frost to the freeze the wild Pokemon. But she gets shocked instead.

The Pokemon has purple particles around itself. 'Electro...?'

"KYOGRE!"

It starts raining heavily. Countless beams of light start attacking the wild Pokemon. Her Herald Of Frost keeps activating, freezing some of the beams light. Someone grabs hold of her arm, and begins swimming up towards the surface.

She's grateful for her Herald Of Frost, or else she'd be in some pain right now.

Lifting up Qiqi, the girl seems shaken but not at the same time.

"...I-" She can't form her words, speechless.

"Hahahah...Terrible idea to never let a kid ride on Sharpedo huh?" Archie laughs, trying to lift up the mood. She looks at him, then at the sky.

"It stopped raining." She says.

"Hm? Oh good thing! Rain in Hoenn doesn't usually last for long you know? Take it from someone who was born here!" He laughs again.

Archie knows something she doesn't know about. Qiqi gets on Sharpedo, and looks back at the water. A Pokeball is floating, she grabs it and pulls it close to her.

"Oh! You used Azumarill to heal yourself while that wild Sharpedo was attacking you!" He says. She stares at him, she doesn't realize her Herald Of Frost is still there before it vanishes and heals a bruise on her hand. She knows he saw it, but he doesn't knowledge it at all.

"No...I didn't use it to heal myself." She admits to him.

"Hmph! Sure you did! You don't need to lie to me about it, you know!" He laughs again.

She doesn't say anything, choosing to be quiet.

"Well we still need to head to Pacifidlog Town, it's close by but I can tell Sharpedo to slow down this time." He says to her, shrugging his shoulders.

"..."

"Scamp?"

"Okay."
