Paimon trails behind Aether, watching his back as the two run away. But then he stops, and collapses. Paimon gasps, immediately checking if he's okay.

He passed out from exhaustion. It isn't looking so good for the duo now. She considers whatever or not to carry him, but with her size, that doesn't seem likely.

'You got to think Paimon! Think! You and Aether's lives are on stake!'

"There you are."

Her heart stopped for a moment. That God was here. She turned around, and put her arms in front of Aether's unconscious body. "Y-You won't hurt him!" They yelled out, defensive.

"This...thing is trying to protect him." The Goddess laughed at her.

"HEY I'M NOT JOKING! PAIMON WILL PROTECT AETHER!" She shouted out once more.

"And what will 'Paimon' do. Attack my ankles?" The Goddess laughed again.

Paimon had enough, she was going to protect Aether right here and now. And if he didn't make it, she will make sure this woman pays. She dashed, floating to the Goddess at her fast possible speed. She threw her fist, but instead of hitting her, a blue hole appeared and stuck in their arm.

"WAH!" They let out, as the portal consumed them. The next moment, she was in a purple world. It was upside down everything and it seemed like physics didn't exist.

Then the next, she's in a room of red and her fall is broken by boxes in a corner. "Ugh..." Her head spins around, before falling back down.

The first thing Paimon smells upon waking up is a sweet aroma. She floats up, a trail following below her. And she catches it, a piece of cake! Her mouth drools just by looking at it.

As she tries getting it, her jumper's collar is grabbed from behind.

"WAH! LET PAIMON GO!" She screams out, flailing her arms.

"Now now, I can't let you have that cake yet." A man says behind her. She turns her head, getting to see who they look like.

He had blond hair, glasses, and wearing a gray trench coat. He wore gloves, as well as gray pants and black boots. But what Paimon was looking at the most, was the blue thing around his hair.

"Paimon thinks you're weird." She flat out says.

"..." The man remains silent, closing his eyes and smiling. Next to him was a array of tools, he grabbed the scalpel from it and held it in front of Paimon.

Her eyes shake with fear.

"Well then, will Paimon let Colress dissect them?!"

"NOOOOOOO!"

Paimon learns about who that man was. Colress, a scientist working for Team Rainbow Rocket. And that's another thing they learn too. Team Rainbow Rocket.

She learns it from Colress, describing about all the admins and even the leader himself. The way he describes them, Paimon fears them.

As she chows down the piece of cake, a idea comes into her mind. "Hey Colress! Paimon has a idea!" She yells out to the scientist.

"Oh?" He looks at her, suddenly curious.

"If Paimon was brought here, than there must be a way for Paimon to go back to their world! Rainbow Rocket can help me, right!"

Colress nods his head, but his eyes look a bit sad. Like he knows a bit more than he's leading Paimon on.

"Of course! And I'll help too!"

"Woaaahhh! Thank you, Paimon will reward you with treats and food! Oh and you can meet Paimon's friends when the time comes!"

The next day

Paimon pouts in silent, crossing their arms together. They don't understand Colress' reasoning of putting her inside this box! And he even told her to stay quiet! 'Once Colress is done, he deserves a ugly nickname! One provided from Paimon!' She tells herself, still pouting.

"Paimon, when I flip the box, you can come out."

She hears Colress' voice through the box. And light comes into the box, looking up, the box is open. She floats up, and hyperventilates.

"Tada! This is Paimon!" Colress says, showing her off to eight different people.

"Thank you for keeping me in that small and tiny box, dummy!" She shouts at him, turning to him.

"Paimon, not here-"

"OH NO! DO NOT SAY THAT! LET PAIMON SPEAK!" She interrupts him, pointing at him. "DO NOT DARE KEEP PAIMON STUCK IN THAT TINY BOX NEXT TIME, YOU MAD SCIENTIST!"

"...Mad scientist does have a bit of a ring to it." He laughs a bit at her.

"THAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A INSULT, NOT A COMPLIMENT!"

"Colress, what is this thing."

Paimon turns back to the eight people, finally noticing them. They're all sitting down on a table. Something about them makes her a bit scared, but she frowns at them, and opens her mouth. But before she could speak, Colress covers her mouth.

"This is Paimon! She comes from another world! I was the first one to find her, she has a thing for food..." He says, trying not to let her burst.

"And may I ask, why didn't you tell us about her?" The one up front says, he's wearing a full on back suit with a small 'R' symbol on the suit.

"Well sir, Paimon is a handful. Just as you saw, she...gets angry very quickly." Colress says, lifting up his glasses. Paimon gets away from his hand, and clears her throat.

"That's right! When Mad Scientist over here said he was going to dissect me, I fought back against him to free myself!" She stated.

"She means that she kicked me repeatedly." He explained.

One of the men laughed, it was the one with the blue bandana.

"Oh wait, Paimon wants help from you all! Paimon wants to go back to their world, can you make that happen?" She began to ask. When she said that, the man with light blue hair turned around from her.

"...Yes. We can make that happen. But in return, you will tell us more about your world."

Paimon found that a bit weird, she wanted to ask why, but Colress nodded at her. So she decided, she'll tell them.

She found out about the names of each of the admins. Archie, Maxie, Cyrus, Ghetsis, Lysandre, and Lusamine. Faba was working with Lusamine, while Colress was with Ghetsis.

She didn't trust Ghetsis one bit. The old man was kind to her, almost too kind to her. She found it weird, even telling Colress to make him stop. He obviously didn't stop, so she stopped going into Ghetsis' room.

And thus she found herself into Maxie's room. The red haired was doing important work, while she was watching from above.

"So what is this for? Does Mister Rainbow have you all doing paperwork all day?!" They asked him.

"Did you just refer to the leader of Rainbow Rocket, as 'Mister Rainbow'." He asked her instead, turning to her.

"Of course! What's so wrong with it?"

"Many things. But I don't expect you to understand anything." He scoffs and goes back into doing paperwork.

"Hmph! Now I see Archie has a point with you! You're a buffoon just like he says!" She pouts, getting angry easily.

"HE CALLED ME A WHAT?!" He gets out of his chair, dropping his pen and paperwork. And then he storms out of the room

Later that day, Archie gets a bruise on his face.

The next week

Paimon presses against a door, Cyrus' room. She is never allowed into his room, for a very odd reason. Archie claims it's because he can't stand her spirit.

Or whatever that means.

She keeps pressing her ear into the door, hearing something.

"Palkia...Giratina!"

'What is Palkia and Giratina?' She asks her herself. Heck she even wonders if this place has a library, that'll be helpful for something like this.

Perhaps when he is done, they'll ask him. It can't hurt anyone, can it?

After one hour, the door opens.

"Heya!" She waves to him, the blue haired man looks down at her, almost glaring at her. She floats up to his eye level.

"What are you doing." He asks her, disinterested.

"What is a Giratina and Palkia?"

"Were you eavesdropping on me."

'He's dodging the question. Whatever those two are, must be so important that he doesn't want me to know.' She thinks to herself.

"What no! Paimon wasn't eavesdropping on you! How dare you accuse Paimon of such a crime!" She tries lying to him.

"...Nevermind."

He walks away from her, leaving her clueless.

She was curious! She won't lie. So when she found a door that she had never seen before, she was excited to see what was inside. She even thought it was secret fridge the castle had!

But inside, Sucrose was in there. Her smile dropped, as she floated away to her. "Sucrose, how are you...?" She asked her.

The alchemist flinches, but looks happy upon seeing Paimon. She lunges in for a hug at the fairy, catching Paimon off guard.

"I'm so glad there's a familiar face here!" She says, tearing up.

Upon a closer look, there's chains and a collar on her. "Sucrose?! W-Why do you have those on you?!" She backs away from her, confused.

"...They put it on me. Those grunts, the admins have some sorta remote to turn the collar..." She goes quiet.

Lysandre and Lusamine treat Paimon like a doll. They admire her features, Lysandre saying she has beautiful written all over her, before saying that will all fade over time. Completing with how sadden he'll be with that.

But it's Lusamine that Paimon is scared of, especially when talking about children. It's clear that she has child, about two. She doesn't know what happened to them, but it's obvious they ran away.

"Lillie, oh Lillie, how much I loved her. At least she visits me. But Gladion on the other hand!"

Paimon doesn't like this anymore.

A week or two...

"Oh hey Paimon!"

"Hi Archie!"

Archie is one of the people she can trust within Rainbow Rocket, besides Colress. And he is the only one she has told about Teyvat at all. He's curious about Liyue as a whole, and Osial.

"So how's the fairy doing? You hungry cause I got you a Lava Cookie." He pulls out a Lava Cookie from under the desk drawer. She gasps and grabs it. She chows it down within seconds.

"Fast eater..." He says to himself. "So why did you come here?" He asks her.

"Well Paimon just wanted to hang out with the best admin of all times! Though Lusamine lets me walk around in Aether Paradise, she is nothing compared to you!" They state, smiling.

"HA! I appreciate that scamp!" He laughs.

"Oh I just remembered another one of Aether's adventures! So it started with Ganyu and Qiqi..."

Surcose is crying. Paimon can hear her cries while she's eavesdropping. Her body keeps shaking the whole time as she keeps pressing against the door.

Eventually everything is quiet, while Sucrose is still crying. She takes this as a sign to hide, there's a plotted plant in the corner and she takes her chance to hide behind that. The door opens, and Ghetsis walks out of the room.

'I knew I shouldn't have ever trusted him!' She saids to themself. She continues hiding until she's certain that he is gone. She floats inside the room, and immediately goes to comfort Sucrose.

"P-Paimon! I want to go home...I don't like this! I want it to stop! I don't want to work for them anymore..." She lets out, her entire body shaking and trembling. She's holding onto something in her hands, it looks like a Anemoculus Resonance Stone.

"You need to escape!" Sucrose yells at Paimon, but keeps her voice down.

"But they're going to hurt you! I can't let them hurt you!" Paimon yells back.

"J...Just do it. Please!"

"God damn it, Sucrose! Another escape attempt from you huh?!"

Maxie walks in, Paimon turns quiet.

"Oh."

It's so fast how all of the admins switch up on Paimon upon her finding about Sucrose. She got shoved into a box, kicking and demanding to be let out.

"LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT THIS INSTANT!" She shouts at whoever is carrying the box.

"It's a shame truly."

That was Lusamine. What is she talking about? Is she at the meetings room?

"She was useful to us when she was."

Lysandre.

"I couldn't stand her one bit at all! She kept on yapping and yapping about food, finally we're getting rid of her!"

Maxie.

"LET ME OUT PLEASE! I WANT TO KNOW WHY SUCROSE WAS DOING IN THERE! HOW DID YOU FIND HER?!" She shouts through the box.

"...I'll get rid of her."

The box gets picked up by Archie, and Paimon knows all of those villains are happy.

"So let's get back to business, we need about..."

Giovanni's plans fade out while Paimon gets taken away.

"COLRESS!"

She begins to shout again, but instead calls for Colress. He always kept her out of trouble, she needs her right now. She wants him to come and save her.

"COLRESS HELP ME! PLEASE! I'M SORRY IF I SAID ANYTHING BAD TO YOU! JUST HELP ME!"

"He's not coming." Archie says.

"...ARCHIE LET ME OUT! WE'RE FRIENDS AND FRIENDS NEVER BETRAY EACH OTHER!"

"Friends? Friends?!" He laughs, as Paimon frowns. "Sorry to break it to you, but we ever were friends. Not even one bit. This was all a act to get you to cough up information, and it worked! You're so dumb Paimon!"

This isn't Archie, is it?

"Ah but, I'll hand you off to Faba and he'll decide with what he'll do with you. He'll probably put you in a cage. Oh and about your friends..."

"NO! DON'T HURT THEM!"

"I'll give a pleasant death."

Paimon wakes up from that horrible dream. She never realized the red flags from before, she could have run away and get help when seeing Sucrose there for the first time. Even though Giovanni said no one from her world came into here, that was another lie too she supposed. She was just a pawn for them.

But she looks over to Yanfei, Eula, and Rosaria. The three are figuring out a plan to escape from here. Rosaria looks up to the fairy.

"Paimon, is something wrong?" She says.

"...No. Nothing's wrong. Paimon just wishes she was smarter sometimes."

Author's Note: this is obvious sign not to trust Archie in this fic. he may be my favorite villain but that doesn't mean he's still a villain. same goes for Colress but he's actually a possible ally. this was a chapter i wanted to do with Paimon and now i have done it! well i hope you have a wonderful day/night and enjoyed this chapter.
