"Are you sure you want to do this?"

"….Yes. I want to know what happened to Chongyun's world. I want him to get back home."

Fantina sighed, before letting out her Gengar. Her Gengar floated above the sleeping Chongyun, on a bed she lend to him. Shortly after, a pink cloud formed once Gengar started to do his works.

Chongyun started to thrash around, his head rocking back and forth. Candice went in to hold him down, but Fantina held her arm in front of her. "Don't. We're almost there, don't interfere." She said.

The girl gulped, but nodded her head. The cloud became white, and soon after, he stopped. The cloud showed something, a wide plain.

"Is this….?" Candice mumbled.

"Indeed. This is a part of his memory and this is where we may find answers."

"Chongyun! Do you wish to practice?"

That was Xingqiu, he turned around to face the dark haired boy. That boy was carrying a book while holding a sword.

"Yes I do. Recently, it's been quiet. Too quiet in my opinion." He said, turning back and gazing at the plain.

"Hm…You're right. While on my way, I didn't encounter a single Slime or Hilichurl. It's oddly strange, I have never seen anything like it." He said.

"I came here to train but yet there's nothing to train against." Chongyun slammed his claymore down, causing a small frozen area. He sat down and clenched his weapon, while Xingqiu looked at the wide empty plain.

"Hm yes, but…" Xinqiu skimmed through the pages, eventually stopping on one. "Perhaps I should interest you in some poetry?"

"Poetry? Is this another one of your pranks again?" Chongyun scoffed.

"Oh if it was, you would have already known! It's natural you're the one who knows it the best." He teased at the Cryo user, grinning.

"You are right, but I'm not in the mood to hear poetry from you." He shrugged his shoulders, leaning more onto his claymore.

"Then what are you in the mood for? Training?"

"Yes! That's what I came here to do! I intended to fight monsters while in the sun, to see how long I could last."

Just as he said that, the clouds darkened. He stood up, grabbing his claymore and slowly walked over to Xingqiu. "…Is it raining? I have never seen the clouds turn this gray so fast." He asked him.

"Seems so. We should head back to Liyue and fast." He advised.

"Agreed."

From up above, there was a red portal. Xingqiu looked up at it, gasping. Chongyun turned around, and quickly grabbed his claymore from out the ground. Out from the portal, was a woman with white long hair.

"Hm. This isn't Liyue, and you two aren't Aether. How unfortunate." She said.

Xingqiu got in front, taking out his sword pointing it at the woman. "What do you intend to do with Aether?!" He shouted at her.

"That is none of you mortal's business. But if you wish for death or somewhere else entirely, I will grant that for you!"

"What?! If you dare to say something like that?!" He said back, his sword suddenly flowing with water. The boy suddenly vanished then reappeared in front of the woman, attempting to slash her with his sword.

But she easily flicked him, acting like he was a mere pest. He went flying, Chongyun holding his claymore in front of him. He was sweating already, this wasn't a good sign for him.

Any moment, and he may pass out. He wanted to train, but not like this!

Xingqiu stood up, breathing heavily. "Chongyun, don't let her get any openings!" He shouted out to him, from across the plain. The woman turned to him, unimpressed.

"I see you're stubborn. I hate stubborn people like you." She scoffed.

Looking back to his friend, a large cube shadow formed on the ground. He didn't notice, as he summoned his water swords to keep attacking. "XINGQIU!" Chongyun yelled out, rushing over to him.

"What-"

Chongyun immediately pushed Xingqiu out the way. The cube swallowed him whole. The boy fell down onto the ground, as the woman grabbed the large-to-small cube onto her hands.

"CHONGYUN!" Xingqiu shouted out,

As Chongyun got swallowed up by the cube, everything was darkening for him. And he had one thing to think to himself.

'Why didn't I…attack?'

"That's…it?" Candice asked, as the cloud vanished. "THAT'S HOW HE GOT HERE?! WHO WAS THAT WOMAN, WHO'S XINGQIU AND-"

"Candice, you're going to wake him up like that! And especially after a nightmare like that!" Fantina interrupted her, shaking her head.

"Still! Who was that woman, and what did she mean by somewhere else entirely?! Did she mean our world?! Did she send Chongyun to this world!" The girl kept on going, wanting some answers. "WE ENDED UP WITH MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS NOW!"

"Candice, relax for a bit we will get over this." She said, placing her hands on the girl's shoulders. It took her some time to breathe, and eventually stop with her rumbling questions.

"…Okay. Okay. I think I'm done." Candice sighed, before looking back at Chongyun. Surprisedly, he was still asleep. The nightmare must have worn off by now. "What should we do now?" She turned to Fantina.

"I think the best choice is to not tell Chongyun anything. Under no circumstances!" She exclaimed.

"Right…" She nodded her head, though a bit unsure.

Inside her world, she sat on a throne above all else. Down below, the world and skies were filled with red cubes, her power. She summoned a cube and floated it around her.

"Let's see…"

As the cube floated, it began to take shape and form. What it formed was a portal of a world upside down.

Distortion World.

She didn't know why this beast was taking her enemies away. But now because of it, Aether and Lumine were gone. So were Zhongli and Venti.

So she needed to pin point who controlled or commanded it.

The cube started to shake, almost breaking and snapping apart. But it held form, cracking doing so.

"Cyrus…" She mumbled to herself, taking the cube.

The cube was showing someone. Someone from that beast's other world. This someone was supposedly called Cyrus.

She held the cube in her palms, and crushed it. "Cyrus, I will never forget you and what you have done to command that beast of yours. Because of you, my plans have failed!" She said to herself, still crushing the cube.

"And I will make sure you suffer for it once I have you in my palms. Forever."
