Qiqi was anxious walking through the floors of Mt. Pyre. Whenever she entered down to a new floor, she would look around her surroundings. She was scared of what happened last night, she had to admit that. She was scared of encountering Archie now.
"Heya Qiqi!"
He suddenly appeared right in front of her, having a cheerfully smile on his face. She let out a yelp, Archie scaring her.
"Oh uh, I didn't mean to scare ya scramp! I wanted to ask how you were doing and I figured this would have been the first place." He said, helping Qiqi to her feet.
"Qiqi is…"
She kept pondering on that question for a bit, gazing off.
"Oh my god, what are we going to do?! Oh my god oh my god!"
The old woman kept rumbling, keeping her voice down as quiet as she could. But not enough when Qiqi was eavesdropping through the door. The girl kept on listening, holding her knee as she sat on the floor.
"Honey calm down. Maybe Qiqi saw someone similar to him, yes. That could be it."
"But what if she did meet him?! Mt. Pyre is known for encountering passed ones, what if she encountered his ghost?! I don't want to explain to her about Team Aqua!"
"Take deep breathes now-"
"Hello."
Qiqi opened the door, interrupting the old couple's conservation. The wife and husband looked like they saw a ghost for a second.
"Qiqi, you should sleep. It's past your bedtime." The woman said, clasping her hands together.
"Did you hear anything?" The man asked her.
"No. Qiqi heard something and she came upon voices here. She almost got scared." She lied to the two, but kept her voice lone toned as possible.
"Oh well, I'll tuck you in bed and-"
"Qiqi, maybe it's time we tell you about the orbs."
The woman flinched, her smile dropping instantly. Whatever he meant by the orbs, wasn't such a good sign judging by the old woman.
Then the woman turned to Qiqi. "Qiqi…I knew this was coming but…"
The girl could see tears forming in the woman's eyes. But she wiped them off, and headed off to a drawer.
"Please sit down, Qiqi. I will tell you about Team Aqua and Magma. But I need you to look at this photo for me real quick." The man pointed over to the bed, the girl running over to it. Once there, she sat down and was given a photo.
The photo was a man with a familiar blue bandana with a familiar symbol. There was only one word and person in mind when looking at this was photo. 'Archie…' She thought to herself.
"Are you certain you saw Archie? This is Archie, the one in the photo." The man pointed at the photo.
"Yes but no."
"What?"
"Archie was wearing black. This one is wearing blue and an anchor. Archie didn't have a shadow around his eyes, this one does. Archie was pale, this one isn't." Qiqi explained, handing back the photo.
The woman, now carrying a lateran, sat it down next to the bed. She looked at the photo and leaned into her husband's ear. Whispering something. The man sighed.
"…Then you will have to learn about Team Aqua and Magma. As well as the orbs."
"fine. Qiqi is fine." She assured herself, back to the present.
"Ah I was really worried about what happened yesterday. You sorta went off you know?" He said, frowning.
"Qiqi doesn't have good memory." She says, in a flat out voice.
"Ay! It's alright, kiddo! I actually want to talk about something with you!" He petted her hat, getting down to her eye level.
"…"
"Do you know about Alola? It's a really great place, in fact I'm come from there and it's real neat I'll tell you that. So I was asking if you want to come with me-"
"No."
Azurmarill gets sent out, Qiqi letting out her Pokeball in secret. The Pokemon separates Archie from Qiqi, making the man surprised. He smiles, though a bit off.
"What do you mean by no?" He says, very tempted to kick that Azurmarill away.
"Qiqi said no. Qiqi will not go with you, leader of Team Aqua!"
Archie sighs before letting out his Crobat. The bat sweeps up Azurmarill, the Pokemon letting out cries of help. Qiqi summons her sword out, but Archie grabs hold of her, holding her back.
"Let go!" She yells, kicking her legs.
"I didn't want to do this! I wanted to do this peacefully without any violence! I don't want to hurt kids, but I'll do if they get in my way. Crobat," he shouts out to his Pokemon. The bat turns to him, still holding up Azurmarill mid air. "Deal with it." He commands, Crobat nods before throwing down the Pokemon as hard it could on the ground.
There's a loud slamming sound, as Qiqi still fights to break free. Her Azurmarill fainted, meaning she couldn't use it to help her.
"No!" She shouts, ice starts forming around Archie's sleeves. The man grumbles, realizing he could have done this first. He grabs Qiqi's Vision and pulls it off her.
"There. No more Cryo. Now you're coming with me whatever you like it or not. Sorry things had to be this way, but I knew it was a lost cause to talk to ya after that statement." He says, letting go of Qiqi but grabbing her hand tightly.
"NO!" She shouts, pulling back.
Archie sighs, sending out a Slowbro from one of his Pokeballs. "Guess we're retorting to Teleport huh? This isn't going to last long." He said, snapping his fingers. Slowbro summons up a flash of light…
Before it vanished.
"…What?" Archie looks at his Slowbro. The Pokemon frowned, clearly as confused as he is. "Is it not working?! SHIT!" He yells out, his Crobat and Slowbro looking a bit concerned for their trainer.
"Guess we're going by ship then…Great!" He grumbles to himself, before forcing Qiqi to walk with him.
Jean puts away her Vision, tucking it in one of her pockets. Lisa does the same, but instead hides it in her hat. The Acting Grand Master looked a bit worried.
"Lisa, may I suggest hiding your Vision else where? I fear if you hide it underneath your hat, it'll…" She refuses to say anything else.
"I'll be fine. It'll just be a quick too, once we meet up with the Gym Leaders of Mossdeep, then we can pull our Visions out." She said, looking over a brochure.
"…" Jean doesn't want to admit it, but she's scared of meeting these said Gym Leaders. Since the news of the S.S Anne, she and Lisa must be careful in Hoenn. If they're not, they'll be arrested for something they didn't do. Not all Vision Users are bad.
"Should we head out now? People won't think we look different right?" Lisa asks her.
"I don't think so. We should just hide our Visions for now. Keep suspicions low." Jean said, Lisa nodding.
They opened the door and walked out. They didn't do anything much yesterday, they were frightened about the news report. And they did try to contact Bill, but he wasn't answering.
When they walked out, the center was crowded. Crowds upon crowds of trainers, all shouting at the poor nurse behind the counter. The intercom suddenly came on, everyone looking at it, including Jean and Lisa.
"ATTENTION EVERYONE! HEALING MACHINES ARE CURRENTLY BROKEN! I REPEAT, HEALING MACHINES ARE CURRENTLY BROKEN! WE ASK EVERYONE TO BE PATIENT AND WAIT FOR THEM TO BE RIGHT BACK. WE APPRECIATE YOU ALL FOR UNDERSTANDING!" It said, before cutting off.
There was a crowd of disappointment and more demands at the nurse.
"We need to go now." Jean grabbed Lisa's hand.
"Indeed." The librarian agreed with her. The two went down the stairs, and pushed through the crowd. They reached the door and opened it, stepping out. Once they did, they took a breather.
"That was…weird. I don't think that happens?" Lisa huffed, leaning on the walls.
"I don't think that happens at all. It didn't happen back in Johto." Jean said, taking deep breathes.
"Well…We shouldn't let that get the best of us! The gym is nearby, it's just a few steps." Lisa said, finally calm.
"…Alright. We can do this." Jean smiled. And surprisedly, she was right. The gym was very close by, you could reach it in mere seconds. But on the door, there was a yellow sign.
"CLOSED FOR BROKEN MATERIAL."
Jean was beginning to think something was off. First the Pokemon Center, then this. It seemed off.
"The only logical thing we can do is wait." She said.
Lisa sighed, a bit disappointed. "I heard there was a library in there…" She mumbled to herself, being in despair a bit.
"BEIDOU I'M TELLING YOU! MY QIQI METER IS GOING OFF THE ROCKS! YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE!"
"Calm down. You don't want to cause a scene here."
"Right right. But still! It's going off the rocks!"
Beidou…That name sounded familiar. She turned to Lisa, the woman seeming to read her mind.
"Oh? Are you two here to meet Liza and Tate too?"
Archie didn't expect this at all. The ships were completely broken, as dozens of people were angry. He could hear the several conversations happening at the same time, as the workers kept trying to calm everyone down.
His Crobat was sitting on his shoulder, distressed about this situation. Occasionally, the man kept looking back. Keeping a close eye on Qiqi. The girl refused to cry out or shout this time.
'Is she planning something?' He thought to himself, looking down at her. She looked back at him, with her unmoving eyes. It gave him a chill down his spine, reminding him that this girl is dead.
If he hadn't taken away her Vision, he wouldn't be standing right here now.
"HEY EVERYONE!"
A boy shouted, climbing on top of a ship. He cleared his throat before speaking up. "MY NAME IS BENNETT! I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS! I WILL LEAVE AND HOPEFULLY THE SHIPS START WORKING AGAIN! GOODBYE!" Bennett shouted, jumping off.
Archie couldn't wait. He turned away and went out, Qiqi now trying to fight back.
"Don't start. Guess we're heading to Mossdeep and then hopefully…" He said to her, smirking at her.
Unbeknownst to Archie, Unlucky Bennett spotted Qiqi and slowly followed the two afterwards. Even eavesdropping on his short conversation with her, the boy couldn't let her get hurt!
"So you are Beidou and Hu Tao? Well I'm Jean, and this is Lisa." Jean introduced herself and the librarian to the two. Beidou let her hand out, Lisa taking it and shaking her hand.
"Pleasure to meet ya. Is this your first time in Hoenn?" The captain looking at Lisa's brochure.
"Hmph. Of course it is! Me and Jean come from Johto through the help from a friend. We're…trying to find someone." She explained, handing the brochure to her.
"That's understandable. I'm looking for someone called Kazuha, but I haven't had much luck so far here. The champion even helped me, but to no vain…I hope you find your friend and reunite with them." She sighed.
"Thank you. I hope you can find Kazuha." Jean said, shaking hands with Beidou.
Hu Tao obviously knew Lisa and Jean were Vision Users, heck she even wanted to say it! But she resisted the urge to. "Say! Have you two meet Liza and Tate yet? They're quite fierce!" She said.
"Hu Tao, you aren't allowed in the gym." Beidou interrupted her.
"And the twins can read your minds!" She continued going.
"Hu Tao, you got banned because you scared off Liza's Pokemon with your ghost." The pirate kept on going.
The door suddenly swung open, Liza walking out and yawning. She rubbed her eyes, and looked at the four woman. "Hi?" She said.
"LIZA! MY BUDDY!" Hu Tao said, getting a bit too close to the girl. Jean immediately pulled her back, letting Liza get personal space.
"You are Liza right?" Jean asked, still holding back Hu Tao.
"Correct. I am. You want to ask me questions about how you came here, correct?" She explained in one breathe.
"I want to ask questions- What?!" Jean did a double turn at the psychic. She was completely shocked and taken back.
"Yup! I know about your Visions too! You may all come in! Expect Hu Tao." Liza grumbled when saying Hu Tao's name, the director laughing nervously and rubbing her head.
"Oh come one, Liza! My buddy, pal, chum, other word for buddy! Won't you make a expectation for this?" She asked the girl, getting too close for her personal space.
"No." The girl deadpanned, and gave the director a glare.
"Liza, if I may but I think Hu Tao should come with us." Lisa intervened into their conversation.
"Unfortunately no. Once I hate someone, I never forget or forgive them…But if you all wish to, you may come back another day! But Hu Tao will not be allowed."
That sentence easily crushed Lisa and Jean's hopes.
"What was the point of that then?!" Jean shouted, Lisa immediately holding her back.
"Jean, calm down..." The librarian advised her.
"Comedy relief. But if you wish, you may all go in all expect for Hu Tao. This will be your last offer. If you say no, then I'll refuse to let you in for the day. And I'm a very patient girl." The girl explained in a heartbeat. Jean wanted to object to that, and demand for Hu Tao to be let in. But she backed off, realizing this was her last chance to walk in that gym for today.
"Hu Tao…" Beidou looked back to her. The director sighed, lifting her head down a bit. Before lifting it back up with a smile on her face.
"I understand. Now go and answer those questions!" Hu Tao pushed Jean, Beidou, and Lisa into the gym with force. She was left alone outside with Liza.
The girl glared at her once more, before walking inside and closing the door shut. The door opened a bit, Beidou peeking out of it.
"…I'm sorry you have to wait here. Don't worry we won't take long." She said. Hu Tao gave her a thumbs up, before the captain closed the door gently.
She sat down, next to the gym.
"I'm planing on you guys not taking long." She said to herself.
1 Hour Later
"Annnnnnnd they took a hour!" Hu Tao huffed, crossing her arms together.
She waited a very long time. She tucked on her ghost, refusing to not let it go. She didn't want it to cause havoc right now. Maybe later though. Her legs are starting to ache as well, but she should wait just in case they got done.
She doesn't want Beidou worrying while the director gets food.
At times like this, she would imagine home. She felt massive homesickness, missing Liyue every time. Beidou was from Liyue, but to her, it didn't feel the same. But she was grateful to her.
She helped her a lot with Hoenn.
But she wished Qiqi was here sometimes.
"HU TAO!"
A girl ran towards her, grabbing her sleeves. But she knew who this was. Little Miss Qiqi. The girl was clanging onto her, refusing to let go.
"Hehehe…I see Qiqi has surrendered to me! What has made her changed her mind?" She asked the zombie.
"Keep me away from Archie!" She shouted at her, looking up. "Please!" She shouted more.
"what."
"QIQI! QIQI! WHERE DID YOU GO-"
There was a man in the distance with a Crobat. He gazed at Hu Tao, and she gazed back at him. Whoever this man was, he had done something to Qiqi. She wasn't going to let that slide.
"Hey! You found Qiqi! May I-"
"Heya sir!"
Hu Tao immediately grabbed the man's hands as he tried to grab Qiqi, squeezing them as hard as she could. But she kept on smiling at him, laughing a bit.
"…You're uh hurting my hands miss." He said.
"Oh am I? My apologies sir, oh my god! How could I have done this!" She feigned it, apologizing over and over again.
"Well it's alright miss! Qiqi gets a curious sometimes when outside, may I have her back?" He said, smiling.
Hu Tao wanted to punch that man's dumb and punchable face. So much. But she had to be cautious with that Crobat of his.
"Sure! But may I talk to her real quick?" She asked him.
"Of course you can…" He slowly started to sound more impatient with her. She turned away from him, Qiqi leaning into her ears.
"Don't let him take Qiqi…He has my Vision…Qiqi is scared.." She whispered to her.
"I won't let him take you. Crobat is a Flying Poison type. It's weak to Ice, do you know where he put your Vision at?" She whispered back.
"Pocket. In his pocket." The girl whispered back to her, trying not to make eye contact with Archie.
"Okay." She nodded at her, before turning back and standing up. She carried Qiqi in her arms. "Okay I have decided! I will let you have Qiqi!" She said, smiling.
"Fantastic! Say what's your name miss?" He asked her.
"It's Tao." She lied to him.
"Tao? So it's not Hu Tao, the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor?" Archie said, making Hu Tao take a double look at him.
"Hm…How did you know that?!" She asked, taking a step back.
"Stories. More specifically, Paimon's stories." He shrugged his shoulders, taking a step forward.
"HEY HEY HEY! DON'T THINK OF TAKING ANOTHER STEP FORWARD TO ME AND QIQI!" She stopped him, pointing at him.
"Wow you're funny! What if I don't huh? What if I don't stop?" He laughed a bit.
"I WILL NOT HESITATE TO BURY QIQI IN THE GROUND AND LET THE WORMS AND ANTS CONSUME HER!"
"Excuse me what?"
Hu Tao summoned her polyarm, pointing it directly at Archie. "I WILL BURY THIS CHILD! I WILL SEAL HER AWAY AND SHE WILL SLOWLY DIE!" She kept on shouting, gaining a concern look from Qiqi herself.
"Qiqi…doesn't like this." She whispered to herself.
"Hey, you might gain some stares here…" Archie said, panic in his voice.
"DO YOU HEAR THAT EVERYONE!" She pointed to the random passerby's. "This is my sworn duty! As the 77th Funeral Director, I must put all souls to rest! That includes Qiqi here!" She shouted. Archie grabbed her arm, the one holding her polyarm. She turned to him, instantly pulling Qiqi back.
"Careful…Sometimes people like you may accidentally summon Kyogre's wrath." He said, sounding very angry.
"…Kyogre? Like one of Hoenn's legends? I like Groudon more to be honest."
"Considering who brought you here, we can assume a legendary Pokemon can bring you back home. Jirachi and Palkia are the most possible ones." Liza explained.
"But Jirachi may not be able to help. It only comes once in every 1000 years, and unfortunately it has already come and go here. Champion Dawn can help you in Sinnoh." Tate finished his sister's thoughts.
"Thank you both. We will find everyone and go back using Palkia's powers." Jean said confidently.
"But what if you can't use Palkia? You may need a backup plan, in case things go south and-"
"Liza, it's raining."
Everyone stopped.
"Well that's not too bad. A little rain doesn't hurt anybody." Beidou shrugged her shoulders.
"Tate, what do you mean it's raining?" Liza asked. "It's July and-"
"It's raining. We need to evacuate. Now." He said, panicked.
"What's going on?" Lisa placed down her cup of tea. The woman looked at the two other women, who were just as confused as she was.
Liza turned to them, frowning. "I'm sorry." She said, as a bright light engulfed the three women.
When the light vanished, the three were outside. But, it wasn't the sunny morning day like before. It was raining heavily, and thundering at that.
"How did this?!" Beidou looked around the town, completely shocked.
"AAAHHH!"
Lisa ran, drawing out her catalyst. She caught a boy, who fell midway of climbing….
"Beidou, that's Bennet! But what is that…?" Jean asked hesitantly.
"….Kyogre?" Was the one thing she said.
When she took one look at what that boy was climbing, she needed to get down on the ground. When something grabbed hold of her back collar.
It was a Crobat, and it was carrying her up to Kyogre. She tried electrifying it, but the boy almost slipped out her arms.
"This isn't good…" She said to herself, looking back at Jean and Beidou.
Beidou was saying something to Jean, the Grand Master nodding to anything she was saying to her. Lisa wondered what they were saying, before she landed on something.
"My my my…If it isn't Lisa."
She looked up, seeing a man. She immediately fired up her catalyst, sparking small Electro thunder at him.
A Mightyean, measly out of nowhere, grabbed and ripped its teeth into Lisa's arm. "Ugh!" She yelled out, falling back to the ground.
"The name's Archie, leader of Team Aqua. Jean must be nearby right? The Acting Grand Master obviously needs someone as a guide right?" He let his hand out to her.
"…I don't know how you know my name but a dog's bite won't hold me down for long." She spat out, summoning her catalyst again.
"Hm sure! You can, but that would mean Hu Tao would have to fight another Pokemon. And lemme tell you, she's tired from fighting and protecting." He said, grinning. "But is Jean here? I need to know."
His Crobat came back, holding one of its large wing across Lisa's neck.
Suddenly, he went quiet, gazing off. And then it stopped, as he smiled. "Bring her on here and Qiqi too." He said to himself. A water pillar suddenly brought Hu Tao and Qiqi, Hu Tao coughing water out her lungs.
"Now we wait." Archie said, confidently.
Lisa needed to fight back, Archie felt like he already won. She knew he didn't, but there was a Pokeball rolling on the ground, rolling below the Mightyean. A Mightyean came out, catching Archie's Mightyean off guard.
"WHAT?! MIGHTYEAN! WHO DID THAT?!" Archie yelled out, off guard.
The boy hiding below, rolled out and sent out a Dragonair. The Pokemon grabbed and wrapped Crobat down, intending to keep it down as possible.
"HOW?!" Archie looked at the boy.
"Hmph! I was hiding below Lisa and I used that to get my team to fight back against you SO HAH! BENNETT IS HERE NOW! LISA!" He shouted out to her. "HOLD OFF ARCHIE FOR ME WHILE I TAKE CARE OF HU TAO AND QIQI!" He explained to her. She nodded her head and summoned her catalyst.
"Ah shit." Archie sighed, before sending out a Sharpedo. "I'm not letting you get to her. SHARPEDO!"
The shark attacked, aiming for Bennett. Lisa took a deep breath, and electrified the Pokemon in one shot. That made the shark angry, focusing on her instead of Bennett. It lunged at her, intending to bite off one of her arms.
"SLOWBRO!"
Archie summoned out another Pokemon, Lisa had to hurry up and finish them off. She ran at the Sharpedo, shocking it and looking at that Slowbro. When she tried to run, she was caught and held up midair. "….Psychic?!" She yelled out, trying to work her catalyst.
Archie walked off, rushing over to Bennett.
She noticed a spark from her catalyst, that was connected to the sky. The thunder was affecting it…She had a idea.
Bennett rushed over to Hu Tao and Qiqi. His Pryo immediately getting to work with their wounds. There were many wounds on the director, that worried him. "Don't worry, I'll get you back on your feet!" He said to both of them. Before someone put a hand on his shoulder. He summoned his sword, turned and began swinging it around.
"Woah! Calm down there!" Archie laughed it off, backing away as Bennett kept swinging his sword. Every swing was missed, none of them landed once.
"Why are you doing this?!" Bennett asked him, swinging his sword.
"Like a kid would even understand!" Archie yelled back, still managing to dodge.
"I may be a kid, but you're a bad guy! And what's this big blue whale?!" He looked down at it.
"The 'big blue whale' is Kyogre. I know the thing first hand, because I caught it and become one with it. How do you think I knew that Hu Tao was passed out? And soon, Kyogre will flood the entire Hoenn region!" He shouted out.
"What?! No!" Bennett swung a hit on Archie, slashing his eye. A small splatter of blood got on his face, as Archie covered up his face. He looked at his sword tip, covered in a tiny bit of blood.
He uncovered it, a vertical scar on his left eye. "You…little brat." He whispered out.
Hu Tao opened up her eyes, and out of the corner of her eye, she saw a blue bandana. Summoning her polearm, she vanished before reappearing in front of Archie. The man now having a bleeding scar.
"Hehe…Give up." She said, pointing her polearm at him.
"…"
She looked back at the boy, winking at him. He frowned, but nodded back at her.
His eyes looked back at his Slowbro and Sharpedo. They could still fight, and Lisa was unable to fight. He just needed to call them and-
Lisa began channeling Electro energy and lighting into herself, letting out an enormous amount of Electro in the area. It was powerful enough to knock everyone back, as she kept on summoning more and more into her body. She needed to keep on going, enough to take down Slowbro's psychic.
Beidou noticed when climbing towards Kyogre's back, that it was raining even more. Heavier than the last. Was it getting anxious and summoning more?
"BEIDOU! How is it above!" Jean shouted at her, climbing beneath her.
"It's still raining! But I think we're close!" She shouted back down to her.
They needed to be careful, one wrong step and they will fall.
Then, Kyogre let out a screech, enough to shake the cores of both Beidou and Jean. Beidou started to climb more, fearing something was wrong up ahead. Once she got there, she came upon a sight.
Lisa was channeling all of her powers and letting it all out, causing a storm. She ran to the catalyst user, her Vision glowing up.
'At this rate, she could…' She didn't want to think about it, and placed a hand on Lisa's shoulder. She started to take up some of her power, channeling it as well.
Then everything stopped. Lisa collapsed. Beidou understood why, she felt extremely tired from that. A hand was placed on her shoulder, and she nearly summoned her claymore. But it was Jean.
"Beidou, what happened?!" She asked. "What happened to you and Lisa?!" She said, sounding more panicked then the last.
"Beidou!"
Two more people came, Hu Tao carrying Qiqi and that boy.
"That was…AMAZING! HOW COULD YOU AND LISA DO THAT?! THAT WAS SO AWESOME! CAN YOU DO IT AGAIN! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!" Hu Tao begged on her knees.
"Hey, I'm Bennett…." Bennett waved to her.
"What are we doing here? We need to deal with Kyogre before it floods Hoenn!" She said, getting up to her feet with help from Jean.
"Oh uh right of course! But you have to totally show me how you did that! Lisa too!" The director said, sparking a grin. "Wait…where's Archie? I mean I defeated most of his Pokemon, but seriously where is he?!" She scanned through, trying to find him.
"That doesn't matter." Jean started, summoning her sword. "We need to deal with Kyogre and-"
Bennett saw Archie running towards Jean from the corner of his eye.
"JEAN WATCH OUT!"
It was too late. Archie pushed Jean off, her falling down.
"JEAN!" Everyone shouted out in union, running over to the ledge.
She was nowhere to be found, not even a shadow.
Archie had a soft smile on his smile, happy about Jean's death. He slowly turned to the Vision Users.
Two comets soar through Hoenn, circling around Mossdeep. There were aware of Kygore and the whole event, but chose not to get into it.
"Lumine now."
"Yes brother."
"YOU MONSTER!" Bennett yelled out, crying out tears. "YOU KILLED JEAN! HOW COULD YOU?!"
Everyone summoned their weapons out, ready to avenge Jean.
"Oh don't worry. You'll soon be with her in the ocean. Where all life comes from, you should be thankful. Origin Pulse." He said, snapping his fingers.
"You're done for now! We're going to kick your ass and make sure no one gets hurt by you ever again!" Beidou said, running and about to swing her claymore at him.
Suddenly, just as countless beams of light were about to hit her, a bright white light sweep down and grabbed everyone.
"…Hm? What is this happening?" Qiqi wondered, before looking to see her above air.
"Qiqi…You chose a really terrible time to wake up." Hu Tao scoffed.
Aether had to grab Jean and get out here. No Water Pokemon in sight, must be due to Kyogre.
He saw her, laying on the sand. He swam to her, grabbing her arms and pulling her up to the surface. She was knocked out, Monday's were truly awful.
The comet kept flying, still carrying everyone. Bennett looked at everyone, before sighing.
"I need one of you to knock me unconscious." He announced.
"What?!" Beidou looked at him.
"Listen! I'm Unlucky Bennett, meaning my bad luck affects everything! But if I'm unconscious or out, my luck doesn't affect anything! I need one of you to knock me unconscious, so we can beat Archie and Kyogre-"
Qiqi hit Bennett in the head, immediately knocking him out.
"…What? Qiqi did what she was told to do." Thr girl said.
Meanwhile, Archie had only one thought to himself. "How are they still alive? That Origin Pulse could have killed them, but that comet…" He mumbled to himself.
"They are pests. Why haven't we killed them yet?!"
"I needed Qiqi and Jean. The boss wants Jean." He said to himself, talking to Kyogre in his mind.
"Hm. They're weak, but the Jean and Lisa one is powerful, so is the Beidou. The Jean didn't get to even use her powers. You took advantage of that." Kyogre said.
A comet, a bit yellow, came up from above and was carrying…Jean. Origin Pulse finally stopped, Archie had no defense left, besides his Slowbro's Teleport.
The comet carrying everyone, came down and showed its true identity. Lumine.
"Archie. Give up." Aether, the yellow comet's true identity, said. "Call off Kyogre and maybe you won't die here and now." He continued on.
"As much as I want to do that, I can't. I will use Kyogre's powers to make this Hoenn my ideal world. But so long, you suckers…You gave me a run for my money." He said, returning his Pokemon, all expect for one.
Hu Tao held her polearm in her hands, a bit upset about everything that happened.
"Slowbro, Teleport." He shouted out.
She held it up, and threw it at Archie. Before he could teleport away, the polearm hit directly at his eye. What happened next was unknown, as he managed to teleport away successfully.
The storm stopped. Everyone took a breathe of relief, not before Aether noticed they weren't falling.
"Yahoo!"
He turned to see Liza and Tate, the boy waving over to him.
'…Trick Room.' He thought to himself, stomping on the invisible floor.
"So uh Aether, are you going to help us! We need to see if Jean and Lisa are fine, and that means a hospital! Oh boo…I really wish I could say we've been pranked but after all that…" Hu Tao said, mumbling to herself at the end there.
"Hu Tao. I'm sorry but no. We'll meet again though. Don't let them win." Aether grabbed Lumine's hand.
"Wait what? Don't go! We need to stick together and figure all of this out!" She shouted at him.
"I'm sorry."
He and Lumine flew, hiding themselves as comets and flying off. Hu Tao stood there, speechless. She collapsed from exhaustion. Beidou stood up, looking back at everyone.
"We need to get help and fast." She said.
Author's Note: it is 3am oh my god, and i need to write fighting scenes! but hey this is possibly our longest chapter so far! 5000 words, and i thought i was going to be 4000! but now onto the story related stuff.
