Champions get tired, don't they? Fighting is their main job, but they can't do that all the time. Sometimes they just need breaks. That's what Lance wanted, but he didn't want any paparazzi following him.

That's why he stopped at a bright bar sign, while it was raining late night. He grabbed the doorknob and entered inside, as old country music played. This was a bar he had ever went into, tables empty and such. Expect for one, and he knew the man and his familiar trenchcoat.

It was Looker, a officer for the International Police. He closed his umbrella, before waving over to the police officer and making his way to him.

"Ah Lance, what a surprising meeting!" Looker said, noticing him and waving. "What's the occasion sir?" He asked him.

"Ah nothing much, I'm relaxing." Lance shrugged, taking a seat with Looker.

"Relaxing? At night? Are you sure you're not up to any dangerous activity late at night?" Looker raised a eyebrow, drinking his cup of beer.

Lance gave him a glare. "No. It's more…Quiet. The last time people saw me drinking, I got a lot of complains." Lance sighed, ordering a cocktail from the menu. "Mainly from parents because I was setting up a bad example. Don't they understand I'm a person too?" He said.

"That was…unexpected."

"Yeah tell me about it. Are you going to order anything else, I can pay for you." Lance coughed into hid sleeve, as a waitress gave him his order. "Thank you." He said to the lady.

"I do have some cash, enough for me to go back to Sinnoh. But…uh I may have gotten myself a few drinks!" Looker mumbled.

"How are you not drunk yet?" He asked the police officer.

"I have a high tolerance to beer or any of the sorts." He shrugged his shoulders. "I come from Sinnoh, so did you expect from I?" He continued.

"…What are you doing here exactly? Is Rocket around this area, or remnants? Giovanni is dead so there's no way it can reform back again." Lance asked, sipping his cocktail.

Looker opened his mouth, about to say something. But he closed it, and put his hand on his chin. He left out a sigh, and searched through his pockets. "Recently, there have been a moment of large energy. The International Police is getting worried by the minute about it. There's a large psychic energy here, it's been going off crazy!" He gave the device to Lance.

And Looker's words were correct, the device was picking up a strong psychic wave here. Strange for a location such as this. Nothing was out of the ordinary to him, so bizarre. "Do you mind if I-"

"Absolutely not sir! I will not allow an champion to get involved in the secrets of the International Police!" Looker said, standing up and slamming the table. He immediately sat back down, realizing a scene he could be making for the employees. "My apologies, but I can't let you. It's too dangerous. And I, Looker, am equipped to handle this." He explained to him.

"I helped Red defeat Team Rocket, what makes you think I can't handle this strong Pokemon?" Lance asked him.

"The waves are strong, sir. And it's your break now and I don't wish to destroy that." He said, before grabbing his almost empty cup of beer. "Cheers?" He asked the champion, raising it up.

Lance grabbed his cup and raised it up too. "Cheers." He nodded his head.

2 Hours Later

He thought he was dead, engulfed in the darkness then taken to the light. But he could feel the rain in his hair, and the smell of this place. It reeked of garbage and some other scent. It was an alleyway, he was sure of it

"Jean? Kaeya?!" Diluc shouted, before grabbing his chest. He took in deep breathes, as he looked down at his chest. There was a wound, oozing with blood down."Shit…" He said to himself, as rain kept pounding down. Looking down elsewhere, his Vision was still there so he at least had his powers with him. Gripping his claymore, he had to leave and get help.

Adrenaline was pumping through his vines, him taking small steps not to force himself to his limit.

"Listen I'm just saying it's utter bullshit that-"

"LOOK OUT!"

He whipped his head to face two people, dragging his claymore.

"I-"

"Croagunk!"

The man, with a brown trenchcoat, sent out a blue frog creature. Diluc stared at it, then back at him.

"Looker, who is that?!"

"I…I don't know."

Diluc didn't and couldn't think, before his vision went dark.

"…Okay, maybe we should ask? Sir, who are you?!" Lance asked the man, but he got no response. Looker looked at his partner, his Croagunk.

"Champion, he could be dangerous and-"

"CROA!"

Croagunk suddenly let out a sound of distress, making the two people flinch up. The man ran, carrying a claymore and swinging it at Looker. Lance shoved him out the way, taking his place.

"SHIT!" He let out, a small part of his arm getting cut by the claymore. Than the claymore started to surround itself with fire, making Lance's wound hurt more.

"CROAGUNK! USE SUCKER PUNCH!" Looker shouted out, his Croagunk sprung to action, hitting the attacker's weak point in his back. They let out a small gulp, before collapsing down to the ground.

Looker looked at his Pokemon, who was easily confused as he was.

"…He went down in one hit…" Lance whispered to himself, grabbing his arm.

"Lance, are you alright?!" Looker asked, getting up from the wet concrete ground. He ran up to him, concerned for him.

"We need to get to a center, quick too. What the hell did he do to me?! There wasn't even a single Pokemon in sight besides your Croagunk." Lance said, taking deep breathes.

"Right. There should be a center nearby here, let's not waste any time!" Looker confidently said.

"Okay…But what about him?" He pointed at the unconscious man.

2 Days Later

Diluc woke up in a hospital, the lights brighting his eyes. He groaned, sitting up on the bed. That must have been an awful dream.

"Ah! I see you have awoken!"

He whipped his head, to see that familiar man with the trenchcoat. He cursed himself under his breathe, saying it wasn't a dream.

"The name is Looker, they all call me that. And your name sir?" He asked, reaching his hand our for Diluc.

"…And why should I give you my name if I just meet you? For all I know, this could be a trap and I'm falling into it." Diluc spat at him.

"wow…I have never had anyone do that before. BUT! Rest assured sir! I brought you to the hospital after you attacked us!" Looked explained to Diluc, making the bartender raise his eyebrows.

"Attack? I never attacked you." He said to him.

Looker gulped. "I see you don't remember…You uh, attacked me and Lance with those fire powers and that claymore of yours." He tried his best to explain. "You probably don't remember what happened those last two days." He said, dropping his hand down, while having a nervous smile.

Then he started laughing, trying to lighten up the mood. But the officer stopped once Diluc was glaring at him.

"Forgetting that, the doctors said you'll have to stay here for about one week for your wounds to heal up. That includes the one on your chest, arms, legs, and head. So I'll be covering your charges, so Lance won't arrest you and give you up to some scientists!" He said, in some sort of happy mood.

Diluc took in every word about what he said, but that last sentence was a bit…concerning for him. "What did you mean by Lance giving me up to scientists?" He asked, getting off from the bed.

"WAIT YOUR WOUNDS HAVEN'T RECOVERED!" He immediately shouted back at him, blocking the way through. "SIR PLEASE SIT BACK DOWN!" He shouted once more.

"I-" He stopped, and put a hand on his chest. He sat back down on the plain bed, and kept looking down at his chest. "I…don't feel anything." He said, confused.

"What? You don't feel anything? But how?!" Looker asked him, confused too.

"I don't know…I don't feel any pain at all on my chest, nor my head." He tried explaining.

Looker had a stern look on his face, looking away from Diluc. "Is it possible, your wounds healed up faster? If so, that's a miracle! But yet, strange…" He said.

"Oh and, who is Lance?" He asked the officer. "You mentioned him arresting me, but I don't remember what happened last night at all. So care to explain?" He continued.

"Ah! It exactly isn't your job to talk back to an police officer now is it?"

"Just get on with it."

"Alright fine! Lance is the Pokemon Champion of Kanto and Johto. He is very famous and everyone knows him. Like I said before, you attacked us both last night with some kind of fire attack." He explained to him.

Something in Diluc clicked for him. 'Is he talking about my Pryo?' He thought to himself, looking over to the desk. There his Vision was sitting there, and he grabbed it up. "…I see." He said, couldn't finding words to said here.

"It is alright sir! But what is your name, I haven't gotten it yet?" He asked him.

"My name is Diluc." He finally said to him.

"Diluc? Wonderful name!" Looker cheered.

"Ah. Thank you I suppose…" Diluc mumbled to himself under his breathe.

"As for your sudden condition…I will ask for the hospital to let you go for today and hopefully I can find you an cheap apartment around here!" He said, with such reassurance.

"Huh." He said, before looking over at the TV. "…Wait…What exactly are Pokemon?" He looked back at Looker.

The room suddenly went quiet.

"Oh dear, you're not actually from this world aren't you?" Looker asked him, giving a nervous yet awkward smile.
