It all happened so fast. One-minute Beca was getting ready to climb back into the warm comfort that was Chloe's bed. The next, the window beside her was in pieces and with a speed and determination that was almost as horrifying as the person, Jesse was launching his body through the window and into the room.
She barely had time to register what was happening before she was grabbed and her scream was cut off by his hand covering her mouth. He held her from behind and quickly moved them over to the door, slamming it shut and locking it. He could hear Chloe's rushed footsteps coming toward them and though she was trying to put up a fight, Beca's injuries hindered her attempts to escape.
"Beca, I have a knife and I will hurt you." He warned forcing her toward the window. He could feel her tears streaming over the back of his hand. "I'll kill her, Beca. Just do as I say." He said against her ear.
She sobbed against his hand and he felt her body relax slightly. Good. She did know how to listen.
It was then the banging began on the door and Chloe's voice penetrated the wood.
"Beca?! Beca what's happening?!"
She was left unanswered as Jesse uncovered her mouth. "Go through the window Beca, don't make me kill her."
She nodded, defeated, through a heavy stream of tears. With one last glance at the door that was rattling on its hinges, and a small shove from Jesse, she carefully climbed out the window. She could feel the broken glass cutting into her shaking hands and legs as she did and soon, wet grass could be felt under her bare feet.
Jesse was out just as quickly as he was in and she choked out a tearful cry as he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards the back fence.
Her ribs were throbbing and her ankle felt like it was about to break. "J-Jesse, please, please don't do this." She begged as they reached it and he grabbed her waist, lifted her up and pushed her against the fence.
"Climb over, Beca, we are running out of time." He said glancing back across the yard and through the window.
Beca again did as she was told and grabbed the top of the fence, Jesse roughly boosted her up and she fell over the other side, landing with a dull thud.
Chloe had broken through the door and rushed into the room, seeing the broken window she made it over intime to see Beca disappear over the fence and Jesse about to jump over.
"Beca!" She screamed, and Jesse turned and smirked at her before heaving himself over the fence.
Beca heard the scream and was trying to stand when Jesse landed next to her and slammed her down by her throat, using his other hand to cover her mouth.
She stared up at him in absolute horror as he let her throat go and pulled out a knife.
"If you scream, I will use this." He threatened before yanking her up to her feet and pulling her at a pace much quicker than she was capable of through the neighbors back yard.
When they came around the side of the house and she saw his dad's truck, she slowed even further. She couldn't get into that truck. She knew if he took her away in that truck, she would never see them again. Her friends. Her family. Chloe.
She began to fight. She didn't care if he cut her. Stabbed her. She didn't care as long as he didn't get her into the truck. Someone would hear her. Someone would help her. Right?
She planted her feet and tried to pull away, letting out a blood curdling scream for help. It was barely a second later that Jesse flipped around and she felt an intense pain in her head. Then everything went black.
Jesse caught Beca as she fell unconscious. Blood dripping down both of their faces from the headbutt he had given her.
With a frustrated growl, he lifted her over his shoulder and ran to the truck, opening the door and putting her inside before quickly getting in himself and driving away. Trying not to speed and make a spectacle of himself.

Chloe had run out of her room and toward the front door the moment Jesse dropped over the other side of the fence. The alarm was blaring and with tears streaming down her face she was running for the police a few houses down when Aubrey and Stacie pulled into the driveway.
She stopped, the tears taking over and dropped to her knees on the front lawn.
"Chloe?!" Aubrey was running toward her, Stacie right behind her. The street was lit with police lights, but for the wrong reason.
"He took her! He just took her!" She cried and Stacie was up and running toward the police.
"Out the back, he broke into my room and took her!"
Aubrey could feel the vomit making its way up her throat as Chloe completely broke down. "He was on foot; we have to find them!" She cried trying to stand up and go after them.
"Aubrey!" Aubrey turned to see Stacie rushing back over with a police officer.
"She said he took her out the back, on foot." Aubrey said and she let Chloe go, turning and emptying her stomach onto the grass.
The officer was speaking urgently into his walkie talkie and hurrying back over to his car.
Though it didn't matter. Even though they were right there, they were distracted by the call they got from a neighbor. By the time they knew what had happened Jesse was driving away from the neighborhood. No one knew he was in a vehicle. Or what it even looked like.
He drove the speed limit and obeyed the laws of the road as he drove the unconscious woman next to him away from the safety of Chloe and Aubrey's house.
The gas tank was full, and he had a destination in mind. By the time they pieced together that he was in his dad's truck, he would be long gone. He used the back of his hand to wipe the blood from his forehead. He would clean Beca up later.
He glanced down at her. She was unconscious and curled up on the bench seat of the truck next to him.
She was back where she belonged, he thought as a small smile curved his lips and he reached down, running his hand over her hair. He got her back.
