Looking down at the water, she can't see any Magikarps down there. She springs a bomb to life, or a Jumpy Dumpty as she calls it, and smiles. "I know you're down there!" She yells out, dropping the bomb down.

There's a silence. She waits and waits for the Magikarps to start flying. But none come. Until she hears a rumbling, and her joy is brought back. "Yay!" She shouts, jumping with joy.

"KLEE!"

Barry immediately runs over to the girl, with a panicked look. He looks at the lake, than back at her. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He asks her.

"Klee couldn't see any Magikarps, and that made her sad…So Klee thought the fishes would like a little surprise!" She explains to him, still having a smile on her face.

"…What surprise?" He asks her, with a nervous smile.

"Klee gave them a Jumpy Dumpty!" She said, smiling.

A Jumpy Dumpty was Klee's definition of bombs. She dropped a bomb into Lake Verity. "KLEE, WHERE DID YOU DROP IT?!" He asks her, sending out his Floatzel.

"What's wrong?" She said. "Are the fishes not going to like their surprise? Are they not going to like my bomb fishing?" She asked.

"Klee, just help me find the bomb please!" He said instead, ignoring her questions. His Floatzel gets into the water, ready for his trainer's orders.

"Aw okay…I believe…it's in the spot where Floaty is at!" She said.

Floatzel lets out a confused growl, getting out of the water. "Where Floatzel is at?" Barry asked her, just as the lake irrupted behind him. Dozen Magikarps were being blowed up to the sky. Klee looked at it with joy in her eyes, smiling at the sight.

"YAY!" She shouted out.

"Dad's gonna kill me…" Barry whispered to himself.

And that's why Barry decided to get a leash for Klee. He'd tie it to her backpack and if she ran off, he'll be able to find her. It was easy and simple as that!

If she was a normal kid, that is. Truth be told, he was handed Klee from his dad without any instructions and that was that. He didn't have a single clue about her, besides she liked going bomb fishing.

"Ooooo, what's that?" Klee asked, pointing up to a shelf. He looked up, she was pointing at a Rare Candy bundle.

"Those are Rare Candies, they're expensive let me tell ya." He said, grabbing her hand. "Now where are the leashes here? You expect Hearthome to have items like that!" He whispered to himself.

"Can we get them?" Klee asked him, grabbing a bundle. He looked at the price tag, 100,000 Pokedollars.

"No." He politely declined, placing it back on the shelf. 'This kid is going to be the death of me…' He told himself, letting out a sigh. "Okay now where are the leashes...Klee?" He said, looking down and noticing the girl had vanished from his sight. And whenever she vanished off to, would spell disaster for the nearby fish.

"KLEE!" He shouted out, running downstairs at the store.

"AH! This store has so much, it's amazing!" Chongyun said, grabbing a Uxie plushie.

"Hahahah! Indeed it is!" Fantina cheered him on. Taking him to Hearthome's Department Store was the best decision. But she was suspicious of this new behavior from him. She needed to play along, or else he'll notice.

"I bet I could beat this Pokemon in a battle! I'm a very great exorcist, you know?" He said, still holding onto the plushie.

'He doesn't know that's a Legendary Pokemon and he'll probably never meet it.' She told herself, starting to sweat a bit.

"Hm? Fantina, look!" He said, pointing behind her. She raised a eyebrow, looking behind her to see a little girl tugging on her dress.

"Darling! No no no! Please don't tug on my dress!" She said, getting down to the child's level.

"Aww…" The girl sighed, letting go of her dress.

"Hey, it's alright!" She said, standing up and grabbing her hand. "Where are your parents?" She asked her.

"Klee came in with Barry!" The girl exclaimed.

"Who's Barry?!" Chongyun stepped in, tilting his head to the side.

"Oh I know Barry! But I've never heard of him taking care of a girl your age…" She said. "But that doesn't stop you from being so adorable!" She pinched Klee's cheeks.

"CURSE THESE STAIRS! KLEE WHERE ARE YOU?!"

Fantina and Chongyun looked at the stairs to see Barry. He looked very panicked and worried. Than he saw Fantina, or at least a part of her hair.

"FANTINA HAVE YOU SEEN-" He ran over to them, before stopping and noticing Klee. "KLEE YOU LITTLE GOBLIN DON'T RUN OFF LIKE THAT AGAIN!" He cried out, hugging Klee.

"Klee just wanted to explore…" She said, mumbling to herself.

"But that doesn't give you the excuse to run off!" He said, almost scolding her.

"Barry." Fantina said to the young boy. "I'm glad you're enjoying this time with Klee, but may I speak to you privately?" She asked him.

Chongyun giggled behind him. "OOOOO, YOU'RE IN TROUBLE!" He said to the blonde boy.

"SHUT UP WHOEVER YOU ARE, JUST...JUST WATCH OVER KLEE FOR ME OKAY?!" Barry shouted at him.

Barry sat down on the seat, letting the breeze flow through his hair. He crossed his arms together on his chest, and looked over to Fantina. "What did you want to talk with me?" He asked her.

"Do you…know how to deal with Ghost Pokemon?" She said.

He raised a eyebrow. "Aren't Ghost your speciality?!" He said, almost shouting at her.

"Can it. Respect your elders young man!" She hit him on the back of his head.

"OW!"

"Now I'm going to ask again, do you know how to deal with Ghost Pokemon?!" She asked again.

"OF COURSE NOT!" He yelled out. "Why are you asking me even?! Ask Dawn or Lucas, they're the pros here!" He said.

"I…It was mere luck that you came here! My mind went straight to you when I saw you! Candice isn't here right now, and I think Chongyun is possessed!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms up.

"…Chongyun? THAT KID WHO SAID I WAS IN TROUBLE?! AW MAN, SO WE'RE DEALING WITH A BLOODY POSSESSION HUH?!" Barry asked.

"…Okay truth is, I don't know. His entire personality just switched up when I caught him a Misdreavus! He keeps calling me Fantina! FANTINA, BARRY!" She said.

Barry just stared at her. "Your name is Fantina." He simply said.

"…I should've rephrase, he isn't saying 'Miss' Fantina, only saying Fantina now. I'm already used to him saying that now, ah geez I get too attached!" She looked back at him, giving him a glare.

"AH! So he's a busy gentleman eh? Well I hate him already." He scoffed.

"You've only meet him for a second." She said.

"I hold grudges for a very long time, Miss Fantina!" He said, in a mocking tone, giving him another smack on his face. "OW! Stop that!" He yelled out.

"Are you going to help me out or what?" She asked him.

"…FINE! But I have to watch over Klee, my dad gave me her to watch over." He said, crossing his arms together. "And I love her creativity, but I can't let her keep on blowing up lakes anymore!" He said.

Fantina raised a eyebrow on that 'blowing up lakes' part. "Blow up?" She turned to him.

"SHE NEARLY BLEW UP LAKE VERITY! THAT'S WHY I CAME HERE TO GET A LEASH SO SHE WON'T GET INTO TROUBLE ANYMORE!" He exclaimed.

She didn't obviously believe this. A child that size isn't and wasn't able to destroy a lake such as Lake Verity. It was impossible.

Barry grabbed his belt, then his eyes widened once he realized one of his Pokemon were missing. "Where is…FLOATZEL?!" He said, panicking as he searched for the Pokeball.

"Barry?" Fantina said, standing up from her seat. "What's wrong?!" She asked him.

"I-I CAN'T FIND FLOATZEL! HE WAS HERE A SECOND AGO, I DON'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!" He exclaimed.

Klee had never been here before, and it was looked amazing! The place was buzzing with people, as she and Chongyun walked in.

"Hope Fantina doesn't mind if I borrow this for a while!" Chongyun sung, taking out a contest pass. "Now if I remember what she said, we need a Pokemon to enter into a contest! You got Floatzel, and I got…Actually who do I have?" He mumbled to himself at the end of his sentence.

"Ah! There's a Pokeball on your belt! Your partner must be there!" Klee pointed at his belt, showing an shiny Pokeball there.

"Oh! I mean, of course! The great Chongyun is excellent at everything! Even being the great exorcist!" He cheered himself on, grabbing the Pokeball and letting it open. His Misdreavus let out a yawn, before realizing where she was.

"It looks so adorable!" Klee said to the Pokemon. Chongyun stared at it, before forming a big smile.

"HAHAH! I've never meet a ghost like you before that hasn't ran off! Guess you're my Pokemon huh? Are you ready?" He asked the Pokemon, the small Ghost tilting her head in confusion. "I'll take that as a yes! How about you?" He said, before looking at Klee.

Klee nodded her head, and gave a thumbs up.

"We shouldn't tell Fantina or that blonde boy anything, got it?" He said to her, as they walked up to the counter.

"Okay! Can we go bomb fishing after!" She asked him.

"Of course!" He said, laughing.

Inside the dressing room for the participants, Chongyun looked over the clothes. Looking through them, the only thing that stood out to him was a white tuxedo. It looked about his size too, and it had a blue fake rose in the shirt pocket. He just shrugged his shoulders, deciding that this would be the perfect fit for the contest.

After taking off his clothes, he put on the tuxedo and looked in the mirror. He fixed up the bowtie slightly. "There we go! All ready! This will be so much fun!" He cheered himself on.

"All participants to the stage!"

"That's my cue!" He said, before exiting the room.

"Good evening everyone! Welcome back to Hearthome's Contest Hall! Today we have two reappearances and two newcomers!"

Xingqiu looked up from his book and stared at the TV. "Hm. Maybe this will interest me." He said to himself, fully focused.

"Participant One! Drew, the first reappearance to our contest! And with him, is his dazzling Roseila!"

Sounds of applause was heard, as the Roseila burst from its Pokeball. It spun and spun, letting out Leech Seeds which bloom into a rose.

"A Cute competition? It seems so." He said, grabbing his cup of water and drinking it.

"Participant Two! Chongyun!"

He spat out his water. "GAH!" He let out, nearly choking but getting all the water out of his system. He took a double look at the two, seeing if it was his friend.

And it was. He was walking with a Misdreavus, the Pokemon all dressed up.

So he was fine. He didn't have to worry about him anymore. "Chongyun...Hmph, this competition will be insteresting with him here." He said, closing his book.
