The Soul of a Hero

Chapter 5

This is a chapter more for moving the story up a bit. Especially with Melissa joining the team and having to learn more about the powers meisters can wield. I'm kinda going with an odd team set up. Part of which will be explained in the chapter. So on with the show.

(No POV)

"Alright since we've got a beginner meister here, we're going back to the basics." Jon said while standing in front of the slightly younger teens. 'This is ridiculous. I'm not really qualified to teach them! I only got Izuku's done because he's a quick study and I went with more of what dad did for me!' the warrior gripes in his mind.

Toshinori meanwhile was watching on from the sidelines. The conversation he had with not just Jon, Ming, and the others had not just been eye opening. It was almost earth shattering. Especially when they used a large mirror to call to the other world.

It was then that All Might learned of Lord Death and some of what he could do. Let alone learning more about his quirk than he thought was possible. Though that part was kept secret when Lord Death and "Maka-sensei" as Jon and Ming called her asked him to stay back while they talked.

"I'm not sure what these quirks are, but they do seem to destabilize and disturb the souls of humans. Almost making them something not human at all. Closer to that of a witch or a monster." Hearing this makes Toshinori shiver a bit and ask what the god of death meant.

All Lord Death could tell him was that there seemed to be something unsettling the souls of humans and warping them when these quirks went active. "There is something else. I'm not sure anyone who has one of these quirks could handle using yours. Thanks to your own strong human soul, it's made it balloon. Which could be extremely detrimental to whoever you pass it to."

All Might thinks on that while wondering if this had happened to any previous holders. But he wants to think it over a bit more to see what could come of his power. "I wasn't planning to make a big decision too soon. Though to be honest I had considered asking young Midoriya to accept it. But I don't think he will. He's grown beyond needing a quirk." All Might says with a small smile.

With the meeting done, the number one hero goes out to see what the weapons and meisters are doing. And apparently, they are each getting lectures in separate areas. With one looking frustrated while the other enjoys their new role.

Jon lets out another annoyed sigh before speaking again. "Izuku. What's one of the basic things that a meister has to understand when it comes to wielding a death weapon?" Izuku points to himself before looking between the two girls. "Uh. Right. A meister has to establish a connection with their weapon. Usually this are personal connections like friends. Or they could be like siblings."

Jon nods before agreeing. He then asks Johari how meisters strengthen themselves. "There's a few ways, but the most common is to use the strength of the soul to enhance the body. This is further enhanced by even slight resonances with the weapon." The warrior nods again before asking if there was anything else they could think of to strengthen the meister.

His students look to each other with a shrug while Jon watches their expressions. When they've got nothing, he talks about the paths and arts a meister could follow. "Johari you follow one of them. The way of assassination. I follow more in the way of the warrior like my father. I also use other martial arts in combat."

Jon notes that the paths can often help or refine what a meister can do and can help to bolster confidence and power in some cases. Let alone giving the warriors' in question a goal or an idea to strive for.

"But you should also be warry. Namely you Izuku. I showed you how to use your soul to attack. It's a powerful skill and a potent weapon in its own right. But if you lose confidence, you soul will weaken."

Izuku asks if memories or certain people influence that as well. "I've experienced a lot of…. Pain in various ways. Even before I started to learn to be a meister." Izuku says while looking down. Melissa gives the boy a compassionate gaze before relating that she was similar. "But I'm guessing not as bad as it's been for you."

"Isn't a lot of that because of those things warping the souls of everyone? Isn't there a way to get rid of them or return some measure of humanity back if they don't want their quirk?" Johari asks while slightly reclining.

Melissa shakes her head and says there isn't. "Alright that's enough. We're getting off topic. Right now we're talking about the combat styles each of you might learn going forward as meisters. One of you technically has chosen their path, but you two still need to figure it out for yourselves."

Jon the claps and tells all three to come at him and try to land a blow. Izuku charges first, while Johari follows behind. Melissa eventually does with a bit of trepidation. For fifteen minutes they try to land any kind of blow on the warrior. But he easily reads, deflects, and blocks their attacks.

While Jon was talking and training with the meisters, Ming was addressing the weapons. "I know each of you know how to transform, but we'll be working on a different aspect. The art of self-defense."

Ming then turns her arm into the blade of her weapon form. "We are all of course weapons. So therefore, we can fight for ourselves in a limited capacity. Today we'll practice how to fight like that."

Mawuli seems uneasy as he tries to properly change his hands. Jane and Mary each turn parts of themselves into weapons. Mary making her arm into a blade and Jane forming a shotgun barrel and a pistol barrel from her arms.

El scratches her head before forming a small shield from her arm. But she can barely put any flames out like this and the shield is little more than a buckler. "Is this really necessary?" Mawuli asks after finally forming his mambele hooks.

Ming smiles before charging at the boy with her blade. He barely blocks in time and gets knocked back into a tree. "Even if I've dulled my blade, that still would have broke bone. While we rarely have to fight without our meisters it is important to be ready for any occasion. Now then. Come at me."

Each of the weapons try to land a hit, but Ming show great flexibility with her human body fighting skills and her quick transformations. Catching Jane off guard by turning her leg into the staff of her weapon form and kicking her in the stomach.

And just like with the meisters, this pattern of getting their butts kicked continued for fifteen minutes. When all the younger teens were on their backs and breathing hard, Jon said they could take a break. "Take five and then you'll try again." Which just got screams of outrage from the younger meisters and weapons.

The rest of the day continued like this and neither side was any closer to touching their teachers. With Melissa feeling extra frustrated and unsure of her role with the meisters. "What am I doing here? I'm not like Izuku who lost his family. I'm not like Johari who's been training for years. I only came here because I thought El could use some help with what she could do."

"That's not too surprising that you don't know what you want or can do." Melissa jumps as she had excused herself to a different part of the mountain after training. A place that was quiet with a mountain stream. But Jon was there and had heard everything.

The warrior sighed before saying he kind of understood what she was questioning. "Initially, I wanted nothing to do with combat. Or people really. Kinda helped that my own wavelength was a bit too much for people. Thought I'd be left alone and could put what happened to me in the past."

Jon chuckles before saying the NOT teacher Harudori had eventually forced him to find a partner. Noting that everyone needed someone, and sometimes that someone may even be multiple people.

"I had no clue what she meant at the time. Part of it is still a bit fuzzy. But the main point was that I needed a weapon, and there was probably a weapon that needed me." Jon said with a smile while thinking on how he got forced together with Ming. And how he felt the dangerous wavelength that was a part of her soul. Facing it and eventually getting it to submit.

Melissa was confused on where the meister was going with this and asked what he was talking about. "The point is, that a connection with a weapon takes more than just being able to relate to them. Sometimes there is something deeper. Even if I don't admit it out loud to Ming, I am grateful for her. And for putting up with my…. Stubbornness and issues."

He then says that Melissa shouldn't worry about what she can't do for the time being. As she was a meister; she'd be using her weapon to fight and try to defeat him. "And I get the feeling you know exactly how to use Eldora. Better than most anyway." With that said, Jon walks away and lets her think about what he said and what she needed to do.

The inventor turned fighter looks down at her reflection in the stream. She thought back on how she met El, and what the girl had become even before she transformed. And what she felt and saw when she first fought with and resonated with El.

"It was a rush like I couldn't believe. And it felt good to be a hero and protector. Using El as a projectile was honestly just a hunch, but it worked really well. Let alone that I saved…. Quite a few…. People. Huh." Melissa thought aloud before coming to more of her conclusion.

When Jon looked back with his perception eye, he could see the swelling of Melissa's soul. It wasn't much, but he knew she'd chosen her path and had more of an idea of who she would be as a meister.

Ming though noted that he smiled slightly. "You're getting more accustomed to having more girls around. Then again, you have been better with those who are younger." Jon scoffed before saying they would be stepping things up before long.

When Melissa returned, she had a more confident glow in her blue eyes. Izuku decided to take a peek and noticed that she had a strange new form to her soul. Almost like it had wings of some kind. But he could also tell that she'd gained a new insight of some kind. Even if it wouldn't aid them in defeating Jon.

"Earlier today I brought up the paths that a meister can follow. But I want to hear what all of you think. What is the path that you think defines you and what you hope to do with your partner?" Jon poses this question while all of the teens were relaxing.

Izuku looks down before admitting he wasn't 100% sure for himself. "But the path of the warrior does feel right. At least right now." Johari smiled and said she was sticking to the Assassin's Path. "I can still be all agent like with it. And find the souls that others may miss."

Jon nods before looking to Melissa. She was still a bit uneasy, but she had her path idea. "I think…. The protector. The path of the protector is what feels right to me." Melissa said with a look to El. Who smiles before signing, "perfect!".

The warrior smiles and suggests that they each get some rest for tomorrow. "You'll be fighting me again. But this time I'll allow weapons. Including my own." While the younger meisters and weapons were excited at first, the second Jon mentioned that he'd be using Ming their hearts dropped.

All Might had a laugh at this and wondered if this would be what it was like for him with some of his students if he sparred with them. He then told the girls they should head home for dinner. This just makes Jon sigh as he and Ming think about getting something for dinner.

The number one hero looks around the abandoned house they had been using as a hideout and base. "I know this might sound strange coming from me, but do you need somewhere to stay?"

Jon and Ming look to the hero with a but of confusion, while Izuku looks excited at the idea. "Are you serious?" Jon asks while stepping away from the open pot to add whatever ingredients they could get.

"Yes. Lord Death mentioned that you were not only alone here, but you don't have any resources either. You helped protect my secret and you've been working for peace here. I figure this is the least I can do." All Might says with a smile.

Mary and Jane look extremely excited about the prospect of not having to bath outside or go hunting for food. While Izuku is excited at the idea at staying in the same house as his favorite hero. Jon seems uneasy but the look Ming is giving him tells that she'll break out the big guns to let this pass.

"I guess you're right. I got used to kinda living on the fringe or with bare minimum. It just was never that important to me on having a lot of things or anything like that." Jon says before saying they could go.

Only to be a bit uncomfortable with relatively high amounts of decadence pertaining to the hero's home. "I know it's a bit much. To be honest I originally just lived at Might Tower and before that I just had a simple apartment. A nice small place with low maintenance fees and where I could just unwind a bit. This one was practically given to me when I announced I was moving her to teach."

Jon gives the man a look to say he has a hard time believing All Might is a teacher. "Then again, I'm much the same. I didn't exactly expect to become a trainer for meisters. I only did it to help Izuku move past what happened to him."

This gets All Might's attention and he asks what the young man means. The warrior looks between his student and All Might before agreeing to tell him about what happened. With All Might breaking down in tears a what befell the boy's parents. Let alone what the monster Da Ji had done to Jon himself.

"Witches….. perhaps they are like those born with quirks. But to a more maddening and extreme level. So many in the current society wish they could be heroes or could follow whatever impulses their quirks push them to." All Might says with a sigh while looking over the city.

With the kids though, Mary quickly jumps in to take a long hot bath. While Jane enjoys the food that All Might had stocked up on with Melissa earlier. Johari and Mawuli get a chuckle at the girl's excitement, but they can understand.

"They've been living in an abandoned house out in the mountains. So of course, they'll really like getting to enjoy some more comforts." Johari says before having a cola from the fridge.

Ming takes the moment to appreciate the nice kitchen and happily gets started on making dinner. With Jon coming in to help after finishing his talks with All Might. After a hearty meal and more warm baths, each of the younger teens was ready for sleep.

"Pick whatever room you like. Melissa and Eldora are sharing, but there are two other extra bedrooms." All Might says with a smile before heading to the master. Jon just says he'll sleep in the living room and Ming states that she would take the couch.

Izuku ends up crashing with his two weapons in the room they picked. With a three stacked spoon sleeping position. Jane behind Izuku, and Izuku behind Mary. El and Melissa had their own beds, while Mawuli uses a spare futon after Jon had gotten one out of the linen closet.

It takes a bit of adjusting to the sounds of the city, but the oldest meister eventually relaxes. The next day, he starts training the kids again. This time in a special training room that was added to the penthouse. "You can use the space however you want. I have to go, I have a special class to teach just off campus." All Might says before buffing up to leap towards UA.

Jon lets out a breath before having the kids all practice resonating and even testing if they could wield other weapons. Izuku found he was able to handle El and Mawuli with a little base practice. Melissa could wield Mawuli and Jane, but she found it harder to use Mary.

Johari meanwhile felt like she could use the katana girl with some ease. But Jane completely confused her. And her and El were constantly clashing with their soul perceptions. El's was more focused on memories and details of a soul at close range. While Johari's worked to track and memorize a wavelength across long distances.

While they were practicing, Jon was meeting with Lord Death. "Wait. Are you serious? A large number of targets have gathered at one place?" Jon questioned from the bathroom mirror. "Indeed. They seem to be working with a few other very evil and twisted souls. One of which appears to be similar to a zombie or flesh golem."

That latter statement makes Jon's eyes flash in rage at Lord Death. Forcing the god to tell the warrior to calm down. While he was telling Jon where he needed to go, he got a call on the prepay phone he'd picked up. "Excuse me a second Lord Death. Toshinori? What's wrong? What? Well if something is happening there then why are you there as well? You used up most of your time on the way to work. Seriously?"

"Jon! That place you're talking to Yagi about. Does it happen to have a large dome?" Lord Death asks. And after a confirmation, the Grim Reaper tells the man that the clustered targets are heading to the same place.

The meister's eyes widen before he shouts to the rest of the teens. "We've got a big battle to get to! Get ready to move out!" Izuku and Johari give quick affirmatives while Melissa looks slightly confused. All the weapons transform and the eldest pair take to the skies.

Izuku meanwhile strengthens himself with his soul and resonance to leap from the top of the building to another rooftop. Johari creates a rope link with her and Mawuli's resonance and throws the weapon. And the rope pulls her along to follow the others.

"Well that happened." El says from within her soul space. Melissa isn't that confident in her resonance and skills enhancing herself with her soul. So, she catches up a different way. By using a jetpack she made to catch up with the others.

In the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, Thirteen is currently being sucked in by her own quirk due to the strategy of the misty villain Kurogiri. "Your experience as a disaster relief hero has made you less capable in combat compared to other heroes. And that will-AAH!"

Right as Kurogiri thought he was about to finish the hero, a blade shot down out of nowhere and cut the side of his face. Landing in front of him was the blade form of Guan Ming. Thirteen had stopped her quirk and was able to be treated quickly thanks to the distraction.

Compounded by Jon diving down through the hole he created with Ming. He brings his hands to his side before thrusting them at Kurogiri. "Fool. I'll just redirect the attack you are sending at me!" Kurogiri confidently claims as both of Jon's hands pass into his misty body.

A gate appears behind Jon as the black mist villain is certain that the man will use a beam quirk from his hands to attack. "Two Palm Soul Force: Twin Spears!" Jon shouts and unleashes the strongest blast he can.

The resulting attack makes Kurogiri feel like he's being electrocuted and is causing massive internal damage. After removing Jon's hands from his portals, the mist villain quickly retreats. But even after he's away he can barely hold his portal open.

"What the Hell's wrong with you?" the leader of the proclaimed League of Villains, Shigaraki Tomura, asks when Kurogiri returns. And his answer is given in the form of Kurogiri vomiting up a bit of blood and him choking out that there was someone dangerous here.

The members of class 1-A were looking at the man with a mix of awe and fear. "This is the same guy who managed to hurt All Might and take control of him!" a pink helmet wearing brunette said in a panic.

A few others take stances to be ready to attack Star if he moves to attack them. Only to be frozen because they can feel an immense difference in power between them ad him. Jon sighs before walking forward and past the students. Once standing atop the stairs, he lifts his eyepatch and examines each of the souls below.

He hums lightly as the other meisters arrive. Izuku being first and surprising the students of UA. "Hey, isn't that the guy who tripped up Edgeshot and Mirko? I heard the only reason they were chasing him was because he killed a couple of villains. Think that's why they're both here?"

While the students murmured about Izuku's appearance, there were other reactions to Johari and Melissa. With some being shocked at seeing Melissa on the side with killers. And confusion on who Johari was. 'They don't know me? That works just fine for me.' Johari thinks with her eyes narrowing.

She had focused on her soul perception and could tell that most of villains were on or deserved to be on Lord Death's list. With Eldora confirming it due to her golden sight soul perception. Izuku meanwhile used his to analyze a few of the ones close and the likely ways they fought.

Jon replaced his eyepatch before giving his orders. "Alright here's the score. We know all the souls that are marked, so focus on those first. Izuku: head for the ruins and mountain area. Johari: head to the shipwreck and rain section of this place. Melissa: you go to the fire section. Group them up and bring the students to the stairway. Melissa, you go last to cover those in danger."

Each of the young meisters nod before heading off to their sections. Though Melissa questioned why they didn't need to go to the landslide section. Only to be answered by a massive ice wave on the simulated landslide. "Never mind." Melissa says with a raised eyebrow.

Jon meanwhile was walking down the stairs at a measured pace. In the center though, the teacher of class 1-A Aizawa Shota was currently unconscious after an attack by the monstrous being Nomu. And while Tomura wanted to gloat about the hero's defeat, this new enemy made him nervous.

'What or who is this guy? All Kurogiri has managed to say was that he did some weird attack that messed him up so bad he's puking blood. Maybe he's a monster like Nomu?' Right as he was thinking that he hears a garbled scream from the villains that were waking up.

Thanks to Jon noting the souls that were on the list before hand, Ming could quickly switch between her edge and being blunt. With the pair quickly slaughtering and brutalizing the villains on route to the central plaza.

At one point Jon spun Ming around before chucking her like a large shuriken. Then while she was in the air, he rushed the villains and attacked with his soul force. He knocked most out who weren't on the list, but for one he got a special treatment. Before

Ming returned Jon had his eyes on a female villain who loved to strangle her prey with her quirk. She thought she could do the same to him after Jon threw away his weapon. But she underestimated his strength and was pulled in and hit with a strong soul force attack. And before she could recover, he put his hands on either side of her head and unleashed as much of his wavelength as he could. Making the woman scream out in pain, panic, fear, and shock. Jon upped the pressure until her eyes basically exploded with blood coming out of all of her holes.

Ming eventually returned and when Jon moved his hands away from the woman's head, she fell back with a terrifying look on her face. "Was that necessary?" Ming asked when she returned. Jon just shrugged before saying, "probably not, but it worked for a different reason."

He looked to the villains and could see that many were panicking more or about ready to surrender to whatever hero might hopefully show up. But the pair don't give them much of a chance. They quickly rushed and killed or knocked out the remaining villains.

Tomura meanwhile was both pissed and a little afraid of whoever this was. "So what kind of hero are you? Killer's don't get pats on the back even when they save other lives. You'll go down just like we will." Tomura sneered to try and cover up his fear.

Jon just snorted before saying, "you think I give a damn about that? I'm doing this half because someone asked me to, and along with it being a mission from a higher up beyond what these idiots who call themselves heroes answer to."

The meister glares at Tomura before rushing him. The villain dodges the initial thrust and slash from Ming, before trying to get in and attack Jon with his quirk. But the warrior is faster and easily deflects both of Tomura's hands before using an initial soul force attack. Sending him flying.

Nomu reacts to this and lets go of Aizawa. Then rushes Jon and unleashes a massive punch at the man. Who blocks with Ming. But this just makes Tomura laugh. "You think that silly weapon can hold up to the power of Nomu!? He was designed to kill All Might!"

But when the dust clears, Jon is standing none the worse for wear and there isn't a scratch on Ming's weapon form. "You okay?" Jon asks after pushing back the brute. Ming shakes her head in her soul space before noting that it was a good hit. "But nothing I can't handle. Besides, we need to take this thing out. It's too much like those monsters The Morrigan made."

Jon agrees while narrowing his eye at the monster. He takes his stance with Ming again before engaging the monster. He doesn't hesitate and quickly slices off both of the creature's arms. It dodges the stab to the head before leaping back and regrowing its arms.

"Yeah, thought that was the case. That was what I could tell from all the souls slammed together inside this thing. Looks like a rubber ball looking thing, and some kind of quick regrowth." Jon says with a narrowing of his eye.

Tomura is a bit shocked at how Jon apparently knew and expected the quirks that were used to make Nomu. Let alone that what he saw as a simple old-fashioned weapon had held up against a blow from Nomu. Before he can tell Nomu to back off though, the pair rushed each other again.

'Let's use a special resonance this time.' Ming says from her soul space. Jon agrees and as they are trading blows with the regenerating Nomu, he resonates to make a very special Dragon Wave.

When their resonance is at it's peak, Jon dodges under one of Nomu's blows. Before knocking him in the knees with the staff section of Ming. This knocks the monster off his feet and Jon sends him further into the air. He then holds Ming's blade down towards his side while glaring up at Nomu.

"Dragon Wave!" Jon first shouts while sending a (recognizable to some) blade of green energy toward Nomu. It transforms into the same green dragon as before to knock Nomu higher into the air. But right as the creature is reaching the ceiling of the dome, it transforms again.

The dragon splits into multiple smaller dragons. Each attacking and devouring the monster. Over and over again, faster than it can regenerate. Jon smirks before saying, "stance two. Dragon Swarm."

When the attack finishes, all that remains is the mutated soul of the Nomu. Brought back by one of the remaining dragons. Jon hums before holding it up to Ming. Who partially transforms and grabs the soul to absorb into herself.

"Well now. That pretty much just leaves you all alone. And from what I saw, you've got just as dark and twisted a soul. The fact it's basically decaying says all." Jon says with a look to Tomura. Who shivers while backing away from the meister.

And who is unprepared when Jon rushes him again and strikes the villain with another soul force attack. "Consecutive Soul Force Three-Fold!" Jon shouts after the blue haired villain dodges his weapon again. The attack makes Tomura cough up blood, and he is sure some internal organs have been damaged.

Right as Jon is about to bring Ming down on top of Tomura, Kurogiri gets his attention. By picking up a large amount of debris and dropping it towards the downed Aizawa. Jon grunts in annoyance before leaping up and slashing the mass of rock and rubble.

And this was just enough distraction to allow the somewhat recovered Kurogiri slip over and get Tomura away. "Damn. They got away. Hey! You still alive?" Jon says while gently kicking Aizawa's side. "You know he is. You can see his soul." Ming says flatly before transforming and providing triage.

Jon then starts to collect the various souls around so Ming could absorb them when she was done. Only for the pair to be distracted by someone new in the central plaza. "DEKU!" a loud voice cries out as an explosion is heard.

Izuku flips backward into the plaza while holding Mary in a reverse grip with Jane up as well. He then points his gun down range before saying, "back off! I don't have a reason to fight you. I was just trying to kill some evil souls."

The one glaring and fuming was Izuku's former friend and then bully, Bakugo Katsuki. Standing next to him is the hardening hero student Kirishima Eijiro. Both had been in the ruins zone when Izuku arrived. And both were shocked, impressed, and unsettled by how quickly Izuku was killing some of the villains attacking them.

Especially when Bakugo recognized the green haired teen. At seeing how easy it was for Izuku to kill, something he threatened often but never followed through on, it unsettled and enraged the explosive teen.

"What the Hell are you doing here!? And as some ninja assassin or whatever! We thought you were dead!" Bakugo shouts while not being sure to be mad or glad his one time friend was still alive.

Izuku looks down before saying, "I guess you could say I did die back when my parents were killed. But now I have a new goal and mission. To make sure the monsters who killed mom and dad can't kill anyone else"

This gets Bakugo and Kirishima's eyes wide. Same for the trio he rescued from the mountain zone. The blonde electrification user, Kaminari Denki. The earphone jack punk girl, Jiro Kyoka. And the hero student with the power to make any item, Yaoyorozu Momo.

"Enough. Now isn't the time Izuku. Did you collect all the souls?" Jon says as a few others arrive. With Johari escorting Mineta Minoru, Asui Tsuyu, Shiozaki Ibarra, Koda Koji, and Tokoyami Fumikage. Melissa meanwhile had been escorting Ojiro Mashiro from the conflagration zone.

Each of the younger meisters do confirm that they collected the souls of most of those on the list. "We left the others that weren't on Lord Death's list alive. Those heroes or whatever can collect them later." Johari says nonchalantly.

Ibarra though takes some offense to this. "Who do you claim is a 'Lord' of anything? There is no god who passes judgement down so heavy handed." "There is for us." Jon says with a sigh. He then tells the weapons that they can change back since the main danger was past.

Which El confirms when she comes off of Melissa's arm. "You're right. I don't see any others that could be a threat. Well except for the explosive dumbass over there." El signs getting a snort of laughter from the weapons and meisters. As well as Momo.

"Who the ever-loving Hell are you guys!?" Bakugo shouts after seeing each of the weapons change and how calm the weapons and meisters were acting. "They are someone you can trust young Bakugo. Even if I don't agree with their methods."

The one saying this was the recently arrived All Might. He'd run into Ida as the boy had escaped to inform the school after Jon had arrived. He rushed as quickly as he could in his slightly exhausted state, but the meisters were so efficient he didn't need to do anything.

Seeing and hearing All Might supporting the people all of the students saw as villains confused them completely. Before Jon and the rest could make their exit, All Might stopped the man.

"Listen. I know you have…. Important and specific orders from someone higher than most believe. But it might be better to have some….. allies. Like us." All Might says with calmer tone than the students are used to. And while Jon is tempted to just brush this off, he knows a few of these students will most likely be coming after them. For answers if nothing else.

Ming then grabs his pant leg and tells him it was a good idea. "We could use some support. Among other things." Jon grunts before saying "fine."

Right as he was saying this, the rest of the heroes had arrived. The teachers work to capture or knockout any of the villains that were scattered around the USJ. While All Might escorted the meisters up to the top of the stairs, he just asked that they give him a bit of time to explain matters to the rest.

I will detail more of what the younger meisters did in a later chapter. Namely by having the students recount it in their heads. It'll be flashback style. Makes for a different effect with the whole USJ incident ending. Please review.
