It didn't take long for the three vessels to get back to PLANTs. At the immediate request from the PLANT Supreme Council, the interview started once all of them docked at Amory One. Selena left her captain in charge of overseeing the moving of pods and mobile suits into of ZAFT's empty warehouses.

ZAFT officials were ready to escort Selena back to Aprilius One. Declan, Arthur, Shinn, Lunamaria, Yzak, Dearka, and Shiho were requested to join as well.

Those of ZAFT were led to council room to be seated as witnesses. Selena with Mikael were escorted to a room until the council was ready for them to enter.

Lunamaria was seated next to Shinn. They were sitting in the seated alcove. "Doesn't it seem ominous?" She whispered to him while glancing around.

"She did interfere with our missions," Shinn whispered back. He was staring at the desk with a single chair facing the council.

A ZAFT soldier in a purple uniform stepped forward. "Her Highness, Princess Selena of the Kingdom of Scandinavia." He stepped to the side to allow the doors open.

Selena came out in a long-sleeved gold one piece with same-colored boots. Her pants were tight against her, but her shirt was flowy. She wore a blue waist coat with the sleeves splayed open to flow behind her. The coat tails had scroll and flower embroidery and adorned with gems of red, green, blue, and gold. Her hair was pulled into a bun with her bangs and a few hairs to frame her face. A gold hair piece circled around her bun. She was striking.

She sat down with Mikael standing off to the side. She didn't glance at anyone else except Lacus.

"You must know what is going to happen next?" One council member asked her.

"I might, but it depends on the order," Selena waited.

The council member narrowed his eyes. "Where to begin. Harboring a GUNDAM that has been sabotaging our missions to taking over three ZAFT vessels!"

Selena waved her hand. "Continue."

"We also have information regarding your name on Durandal's unpublished list," he was hoping she would show any sort of weakness.

"Interesting," Selena was curious.

"Back to the matter at hand," another council member interrupted. "What did you do with the debris that was taken from us and why did you take it? What were your intentions of taking over three vessels?"

"That is not any of your business," Selena lifted her chin just a bit. She looked at all the council members. "It was not yours to begin with either. As for the name on Durandal's lists, I was not on the public list, but I was on some of the military ones. Taking over three vessels? Well, that was due to my vessel being blown to pieces."

"What was your relationship with former Supreme Council Chairman Durandal?" Lacus asked not caring for the other instances. Almost everyone looked over to her. The interview had become more of an interrogation now.

"Gilbert and I were close," Selena's lips drew a somber smile. "He was tactful and intelligent. We exchanged theories and information countless times. Sometimes our thoughts lined up with one another, but mostly we disagreed. Compromising was a must to keep things peaceful."

"Explain further," A council member who had kept quiet now spoke.

Selena lifted up on eyebrow before answering. "I'll answer what you dare not to ask but tried to allude to. The only part I played in Durandal's Destiny Plan was giving my opinion and taking the test which, I declined to both, that's how my name showed up on the lists. His way of threatening me if I didn't comply."

"Why did he want to ally with you?" The quiet council member followed up.

"His rival was those who opposed him and his ideas, but after Djibril's death his main rival was the White Queen, Chairwoman Clyne," Selena stared into Lacus' calm eyes.

"White Queen?" The council members murmured amongst one another and stealing glances between the two-pink haired woman.

"He embodied the world as a chess board and himself as the Black High Priest and in his new world he wanted to create, the Black King would be genetics. He needed a Black Queen," Selena explained.

"And you declined because your thoughts didn't meet his," the quiet council member concluded. She nodded. "Durandal was close with the late Commander Rau Le Creuset. What was your relationship with him?"

Selena's composure became softer. "Rau and I were also close. Close enough that Gilbert conveyed jealousy when the three of us were together."

"Some view his ideas were worse than Durandal's," the council member continued his banter.

"Yes, Rau judged both Naturals and Coordinators with hatred and resentment," Selena casted her eyes down. She looked to the council member who continued the conversation. "He was diagnosed with nihilistic and omnicide tendencies. His mental state and health were fragile."

"You're defending him even though he's dead," a council member spat out. "A maniac who tried to annihilate all of us just like Patrick Zala."

"Yes," Selena's soft demeanor was gone. "You only asked to confirm our relation."

"Speaking of the Le Creuset Team," the angered council member glanced at Yzak and Dearka. "You were ready to make quite the deal with Durandal about the young soldiers who were going to be executed as criminals deemed by military law."

"I was," Selena confessed. "Military law can be severe. Execution for following orders. Gilbert and I agreed on that situation. Soldiers are given orders that they must comply. They will be penalized if they don't follow and depending on the order, penalized if they do. Great leaders can have terrible ideals. You cannot punish everyone for that. If Gilbert didn't forgive them, I would comply with him to hand all those soldiers over to me. Gilbert could have made a deal with me then but he didn't."

Yzak and Dearka was in shock. Declan was intrigued. The rest were rendered speechless. She was going to save them from execution. Yzak and Dearka were so willing to accept their fates but didn't know there were saviors waiting on the fringes.

"If you did then what would it have been?" Lacus followed up.

"I thought it was easy to understand," Selena then shrugged her shoulders. "If he struck the deal then I would take part in his Destiny Plan, he wanted to know my results and what I thought of it. We all know that it was to conduct a thorough analysis of the DNA and genetic makeup of all people and place them in occupations consistent to their vocational aptitude. Thus, creating a functioning world where people are supposed to be happy as they were put in their place."

"Your Kingdom and Orb immediately rejected it, did you have influence in that decision and what were your results?" Lacus added.

"A society completely controlled and free will is not recognized doesn't sound peaceful," Selena viewed the other members of the council. "It doesn't even sound appealing. No growth, no creativity, just mindless beings being assigned tasks and positions. My Kingdom knew our answers. It was a unanimous decision. Orb was the same. Why would two neutral nations want a world where our genetics dictate our lives? If we wanted that, there is place where that runs smoothly for now."

"Speaking of Orb," a council member spoke up. "Orb Representative Athha has been abducted."

"I did hear of that on the Voltaire," Selena was a bit somber. "Unfortunate just after another peace treaty signing."

"Then did you hear of the abduction of Murrue Ramius," he continued. "Captain of the Archangel."

Selena was surprised. This was genuine as she knew Cagalli would have been kidnapped but not Murrue. "No. I did not hear of that. It is unsettling how both of them had been abducted."

There was silence amongst the council members. Lacus took this time to speak again.

"As you are willing to cooperate with us as much as you can," she started. "We will relinquish what was yours to begin with back to you as you were doing the same as us, taking debris that wasn't our own. Mayhap in the future we could collaborate if our interests are similar. You are free to go."

Selena nodded to her. Her and Mikael were escorted out by ZAFT officials to the room they were just in earlier. The council members had left before her. Declan, Arthur, Shinn, Lunamaria, and Shiho all headed back to get rest while Yzak and Dearka wanted to speak with Selena about her possibly saving them.

In the room, Selena let out a sigh of relief. Mikael relaxed a bit. "Did they really think they would able to get the information they wanted out of you?" He knew what they were trying to do. "Chairwoman Clyne should have ended it earlier."

As she was just about to say something, the door slammed opened. The two turned to see Athrun panting with a scowl upon his face. He entered ready to go against her.

"You!" He pointed a finger at her. "What happened to Cagalli?!"

Selena was taken aback. "Admiral Zala, greetings to you too. How gracious of you to announce your arrival."

"Cut the nonsense!" Athrun put his hand down, walking over to her. "I know you had something to do with Cagalli's abduction."

"What was it then?" Selena probed. "What was it that made you believe it was me?"

"Ah Athrun!" Kira came running in. He grabbed onto Athrun. "My apologies Your Highness. He's still shaken up from Cagalli's abduction. We will get out of your way now. Let's go."

Athrun jerked away from him. "There were no traces left of any kind. All of the monitors wiped clean. Even the anesthetic containers used to put us to sleep was gone. The only thing left was a timer that could have been put there by the pilot of the vessel."

"Seems like they didn't want you to find her or them," Selena pointed out.

"Only one I know who could be that immaculate is you," Athrun lowered his voice a bit.

"Tell me then Admiral," Selena stood firm. "Where would I keep her when my vessel is floating in pieces out in space?"

Athrun gritted his teeth. "You could have placed her somewhere else!" He jolted over to her, ready to put his hands upon her, he wanted to shake her to tell him where Cagalli was at. Selena only used a few moves but flipped him in the air before landing on the ground.

She stepped over him, her cape following behind her, moving over him. Dearka and Yzak came just in time to see that scene unfold.

"Do you know why Fred the Knife never acknowledged me at the Academy besides the first few greetings," Selena grabbed onto her cape so she could turn a bit. "He knew that if he ever acknowledged me, I would ask him for a sparring match." Athrun was picking himself off the ground. He gazed at her with anger. "He also knew that he would lose." She glanced at him once. "For someone who defeated Fred the Knife, you sure were easy to defeat."

Athrun stood up. He was tired of the nonsense. He despised interacting with her. "It was pointless trying to work with you. This is why it should have been you instead of Sv-ergh-eck-cough-cough-ERK!" Athrun was grasping for air as his hands were trying to undo her grip.

Selena was holding him off the ground with one arm. She wasn't even looking his direction when he spoke those words. The others could see how her eyes were changed. Kira knew that look. That was how he looked when he went into Berserker mode. He glanced over to her bodyguard who was only watching.

"Choose. Your. Next. Words. Wisely," she finally turned to look at him. The atmosphere in the room became almost bone chilling. "Do you really think I would sacrifice my vessel who had just finished her maiden voyage and now onto her second run for the useless Hibiki!?" Athrun was kicking a bit, still struggling against her. She opened her hand for him to fall back onto the floor. He let out gasps for air. He had tears down his cheeks, his face flushed red. Her hand dropped back to the side. "Let me add insult to injury. This is coming from a man who must go on a journey to find himself while ignoring the truth until the last moment and yet he pilots the Justice. Where was this energy when she was going to marry Yuna Roma Seiran? Her twin had to save her instead. When Cagalli is found, its best for the both of you to go to therapy, as individuals and as a couple." Selena walked away. Mikael followed behind her. She still was in Berserker state.

Athrun clutched at his throat. Kira headed over to Athrun. Yzak and Dearka couldn't move. This was not a situation where they could ask her about earlier. Thankfully a soldier came by to tell them that Terminal was meeting tonight.

Lacus, Kira, Athrun, Yzak, Dearka, and Martin DeCosta. There was a screen with Andrew Waltfeld and Mu La Flaga upon it.

"Situation isn't looking better here either," Andrew informed. Mu hardly spoke but the signs of being distraught and worried were written all over his face. "Both cases were similar so it means one group was after them both instead of two different ones. That makes things just a bit easier." Andrew spotted Athrun's neck. "Did you get hurt?"

Kira made Athrun get checked by a doctor. The doctor had applied some ointment and bandages. Athrun looked away. "No, this was recent."

Andrew studied him. "Let me guess, you made Her Highness angry." Athrun flinched. Andrew let out a chuckle. "She left you with a warning, kid. What did you say to her to make invoke her wrath?"

Athrun didn't want to say it. Dearka spoke in his stead. "He brought up a taboo subject." Athrun glared at him. Dearka glared back.

"You're only on her side because of the late Commander," Athrun huffed. "If it wasn't for him, you wouldn't have gotten to know her!"

"Regardless of which side we take," Dearka spat back. "It's only fair to state the facts."

"You don't bring up Sven unless she brings him up," Andrew interrupted the feud. "The loss of her parents and then her twin is a sore subject. She lost him a few years back but its still recent, still fresh. Since you spoke with Selena you must have asked about this situation. Give me word for word what she said."

Athrun, Kira, Yzak, and Dearka explained that whole situation. Andrew mulled it over for a few moments. He nodded his head while closing his eye.

"What is it?" Martin knew he had found something.

"Selena is a tough nut to crack but you said she was in Berserker state so she slipped up a few things," Andrew opened his eye. "She didn't take Cagalli but since she's after the same things we are, she could know who did."

Athrun pounded his fist on the table. "Then where is she?!"

"Now, now," Andrew kept his voice the same. "Selena said several things that is helpful. We can officially rule out Selena on this one. She loves her gadgets too much. Sacrificing her vessel as a distraction is not something she would do. She called Cagalli the useless Hibiki."

"What does that have to do with anything?" Athrun fumed. "She's not useless."

"To you, to me, to the rest of us," Andrew was getting annoyed by Athrun and his interruptions. "She's not useless, but to Selena she is. She also said Hibiki, we're looking for debris that contains information about genetics. Who is the father and creator of the Ultimate Coordinator?" The group looked over to Kira who was looking back and forth at all of them. "If Selena did want to take someone, it wouldn't have been Cagalli, it would have been Kira."

"Why Kira," Martin asked what some were thinking. Kira placed his hand upon Lacus', trying to give her comfort. She clasped his hand.

"Kira, Ultimate Coordinator," Andrew continued. "Selena, Ultimate Coordinator, she's only failed because she needs to balance herself with stabilizers and take ample rest. Other than that, she's the Eve to Kira's Adam. Thankfully, Selena's not that way. Getting back at hand, she also said when Cagalli is found. Could have been wishful thinking but as someone who has experienced first hand of how the Oldenburgs work, that's just them dropping hints of information they already know."

"So does that mean Murrue would be okay as well?" Mu finally spoke up.

"We can only hope so," Andrew didn't want to get his hopes too high. "I have my bets placed on what will be happening next. Athrun, don't make an enemy of Selena. I know you two have your differences, but with everything happening now, we're going to be seeing her and hearing about her a lot more."

The group continued on their conversation about other Terminal issues that have been needing their decisions.

At the Kingdom just after the explosion of the Kingdom's Royal Military vessel, in an office that was tidy and organized, it displayed a few personal belongings, a woman with short, silver hair was going over documents. Her day-to-day life was being Director of Aerospace Management. It was similar work to what she used to do.

A soldier knocked on her door. "Come in," she didn't look up from her work.

"Director Joule," he greeted. "The Konungr has been destroyed by a laser shot from the United States of South America region."

Ezalia jolted up. "Causalities?!"

"None," he explained further. "Her Highness and crew escaped in time before the blast hit."

"What about the Chancellor?" She stood up.

"Unharmed, our vessel touched down as the Konungr was being blasted," Luka stepped in. "You may go." The soldier nodded. He left shutting the door behind him. Ezalia sat back down. Luka came over to sit at one of the chairs in front of her. "If I was on the Konungr would you still have that reaction?"

Ezalia ignored him while going back to work. "If they're safe then that's all that matters."

"Junk Guild has been commissioned to clean up that area," Luka informed. "Black box has been retrieved. It has been sent down to Earth as we speak. Soon we will get it to start our investigation."

"We already know who aimed it at her," Ezalia flipped over a page.

"Yes, but we both know who is going to be unhappy on how he found her vessel when it was well hidden," Luka leaned back into the chair.

"She already knows the answer," Ezalia countered. "Satellite disruption, just because it has Mirage Stealth Colloid System doesn't mean it can let satellite trajectories pass through it. Take a few educated guesses, aim your giant death beam, and fire away, hoping for a hit." She looked up at him. He let out a sigh. She went back to work. "I'm guessing the peace treaty is with the Prime Minister."

"Yes," Luka nodded. "And Her Highness is being escorted back to the PLANTs as it was revealed she is in possession of the white GUNDAM."

"She can handle herself,"' Ezalia wasn't worried.

"You don't even care who is escorting her back, or what vessel the white GUNDAM took her to," Luka pointed out. Ezalia paused. "I think it's better to come from me instead of a soldier." Ezalia looked over to him. Her eyes full of distaste. "It took three vessels to barely hold all of the mobile suits and escape pods."

"Fifteen mobile suits split into three ZAFT vessels," Ezalia pointed out. "Of course, protocol would lead her to him. She has better chances with a former member of the La Creuset team than being on board any other ZAFT vessel." She let out a breath. "I am not happy about the outcome but she knows enough not to get him involved." Luka smirked. "You did hear about Orb's Chief Representative being abducted along with the Captain of the Archangel?"

"Yes," Luka nodded. "Cagalli is his test run. I don't know why he wanted Murrue but two test runs might be better than one."
