A Forgotten Truth...

The surprised Sue ran upstairs taken back by this random set of words.

That night while she was taking a shower she thought' there has to be an explanation for this... Oh! I know! She was drunk! Yeah... drunk...' she thought as she gazed into the white tiled walls that surrounded her. She dozed into the silent but thudding walls. The warm feeling of hot water soothed her bruised skin from that days lesson in volley ball. She would have fell asleep if the water hadn't turned freezing cold that instant.

The months went by slowly but forgotten. Soon, Sue was back in school and had forgotten about that strange event. Though, in her sleep she had a stranger feeling of a lost vastness...

like she was missing something... or someone, or even a set of people. A gray feeling took over her while fall and winter passed by.

" Finally!" said Sue," in 4 days it'll be my 13th birth-day!". It was April the rain season and Sue felt that grave feeling slowly melt.

In Rachel's confusing life...

The butler Herriman was one of the people who knew about the legend of the five guardians and the veil. He had made a promise to tell Rachel the day after her Birth-Day about the magic but... he was to nervous. By now he had retired the job of Rachel's butler and friend for the pressure was too much, knowing every day that the worlds safety counted on him telling her so she could save it but not having enough courage to tell her. So he opened a shop in downtown Saversville where he hoped she would never find him.

But one day while she was riding around on her red bike she had bought from a nice lady named Mrs. Vandom, a a single with fiery red hair, she saw a shop with an old wood sign saying ' Coffee's Dream'. She liked hot chocolate and thought the shop might have some. She walked into the red walled coffee shop with a strange feeling. There were red velvet chairs, glass tables and a few paintings of abstract. The only people there were a few poets and a cashier. She sat on one of the wooden stools at the counter and stared at the menu. She saw something in the specials menu that cought her eye, it said' Hot Chocolate: Double chocolate, whip-cream, peanut butter, caramel, and a cherry.'

" Hey! That's what Herriman use to fix me!" she said aloud and putting her hands roughly on the counter. The cashier glanced over at her. He had a bald head and a pierced ear. " Yeah, I did, didn't I?" he said with a chuckle. Rachel looked over and breathed" Herriman?".

" I would have told you where I was it's just that... you know... the secret. G.O.T.V.." he said whispering and staring her in the face. " What?" she said looking even more confused. " Oh my god! You're kidding me! You have not even heard of the G.O.T.V. yet?" he asked. " I don't know you..." said Rachel backing away from the counter. " You're crazy!" she yelled. " Wait! I didn't mean..." he was muffled out by the the closed door. Rachel ran to her bike and kicked up the kick-stand. Herry(that's what you call him for short.) was running out the door yelling his head off to get her attention. She started riding across the the street with a muffled voice in her head saying' don't go any farther! Don't do any farther! You'll -------' she stopped and followed her instincts . A truck rushed right in front of her and she closed her eyes. A flash and it was over... she was still sitting on her bike listening to Herry get closer and closer. She looked back and gave a sad look to Herry and rode off.
