A/N Yes it's short but its only the prologue please bear with me! Oh I don't own anything you recognise from Sailor Moon it is all Naokos. And probably some other people's. But not mine. Warning there will be characterxoc parings in this fic. don't like dont read. Okay?
Prologue: Journey's Beginning
"My princess," he said softly taking her hand in his, "I must leave you, by remaining with you I put you and all your people in great danger."
"What? Why, my love? I am a senshi, your my prince – we can fight any enemy there is, and we can call on the othres for help, they will surely come to our aid in times of need, why are you leaving? Why now?"
"Hush, princess," he whispered, wiping away crystalline tears with a gloved thumb, "We'll meet again; this is love. But Medusa is hunting me. I am supposed to be your protector so I cannot stay and place you all in danger. We will meet again, but I must go."
"No!" she cried desperatly "No! Please don't leave me!" In an instant, he was gone, leaving her with only a kiss and a memory.
A thousand years later on a different planet, Kinou Makoto woke up. A dream? An illusion? A memory? Or something more...
