Chapter 9: The Second Date Part 3

After a few rounds of bowling, which ended in a tie, the two teenagers soon went to have lunch at a nearby cafe and then end things by walking together at the park, where they first met.

"This is nice..."Katie said in a perky way while the ghost boy walked her through the park.

"Uh, yeah... it is..."He said, feeling nervous again.

Danny can't help it.

Yes, the date has been pretty fun so far and thankfully, after Dash was taken away, nothing crazy has happened. However, the ghost boy couldn't help but recall their last date and what made him so nervous around Katie.

Especially, since he is STILL unsure exactly what is happening right now.

He kept thinking about the kiss haunting his lips. It wasn't that he didn't believe Katie liked him, but the boy was so stunned since getting kissed like that from a cute girl like her seemed...unlikely.

"Was that real or am I remembering it wrong?..."The ghost boy thought as he just decided to do it.

It was now Danny had the nerve to ask.

"Say, Katie?" Danny started, gathering his nerve.

"Yeah?..."She asked and the ghost boy took a deep breath.

It was now or never.

"I was wondering..."He began but paused, and the blonde girl thought he was being shy again.

"Yes, Danny?..." Katie giggled back.

She loved it when he was shy. The ghost boy tried not to focus on her giggling and just ask before he loses his nerve again.

"So... Katie? I was wondering... that night at the end of our first date. was sorta wondering..if maybe..I dunno...Did you... kiss me? ... repeatedly?..."He finally asked, bracing for whatever reaction she'd might have for that question.

Katie just stared at him like he asked something lie if 1+ 1 = 2.

"Of course... Silly..." She said with a laugh, as if he made a small joke.

Danny stood there, blushing deeply after hearing that.

"It...it was real?!..."Danny thought in disbelief.

It gave the boy shivers. This cute girl not only liked him, but did in fact kiss him so much at the end of their FIRST DATE?!

"Oh man, it was real!..."He thought, unsure how to react to this.

Katie thought he was being shy again and giggled.

"I remember it..."She said as she leaned closer. "What, do you want a repeat?..."She whispered into his ear.

Danny's entire face turned red after that and was practically fainting now.

"Oh man!..."He thought, unable to think now.

Katie laughed again and decided to take this to the next level by making flirty eyes.

"So...Did you like it as much as I did?..."She asked in a flirtatious tone into his ear.

Danny gulped hard and was sweating and practically shaking now.

"I...uh...um..."Danny stammered while Katie just stood there with that smile of hers, expecting an answer.

However, before he could give an answer...or risk his weak knee reaction of having his pants around his ankles, something happened that caught both of their attention.

"Watch out!..."Was suddenly heard.

The two teens looked up and saw a hot dog cart had started rolling out of control. The hot dog cart was heading to the little boy, who didn't notice.

''Oh man..."Danny exclaimed as he ran in that direction, not having time to change forms or make up an excuse.

He grabbed the kid and pulled him out of the way in time. It was now the boy noticed what happened, seeing the cart hit a tree.

"What the-..."The kid exclaimed, shaken.

"You okay?..." Danny asked.

"Uh huh..." The kid went.

Danny smiled and soon the boy's mother came and hugged her son. After sending an appreciative smile and thanking him, they left and Danny returned to his date.

"That was close..."He said, as he sighed in relief he didn't need to morph.

Katie saw the whole thing and smiled widely.

"Oh Danny, that was amazing!..."Katie said as she hugged him, relieved that both he and the boy were alright.

The sudden hug turned his face red, even more as the blonde girl smiled again.

"You're quite the hero..." Katie said, impressed.

"No big deal, I didn't do much...I just got him out of the way...Anyone could have done that..." Danny admitted sheepishly. "I'm just glad that the kids okay..."He said while Katie sent him a certain look again.

"Still, that was very brave and I think all good deeds deserve their rewards..."She said as she leaned and placed a kiss on his cheek.

When she pulled away, Danny laughed nervously.

"Never hurts to help..."He said and Katie laughed again.

"He's so shy, it's adorable!..."She thought as she then tugged his arm.

"Come on, we're not done yet..."She said, winking at him as she dragged him to continue their date.

A little later

After the walk in the park, Katie dragged Danny to an arcade and they were now playing games together.

They even played against each other in a dance-style video game, which Katie won due to those dance classes she took when she was younger.

Now, they were taking a break by the snack bar and they were now alone.

Just as she wanted...

"Perfect..."The blonde girl thought as there weren't that many people here.

While Katie was ecstatic, Danny took a moment to admire how pretty she looked and felt his heart beat faster.

"Just me and her..."He thought, still unable to believe that she wanted to go out with him.

Twice.

"Now what?..."He thought, still entirely sure how this will go.

He met Katie on Friday and now it's Monday and they've already been on two dates and she kissed him on the lips more times than he's been kissed before he met her, and those were "fake out make outs".

"I wonder where this is going...I mean...she's cute and nice but-..."He thought before the blonde girl got his attention.

"Hey Danny, I'm gonna get a soda. You want one?..."She asked, snapping the boy out of his thoughts.

"Huh, oh...sure..."Danny said.

They went to a nearby vending machine by the bathroom and the blonde girl asked him what kind of beverage he wanted while he inserted the quarters.

"One diet cola..."Danny said, noticing her stance.

A very cute and innocent one.

"Sure thing, Danny..."Katie said in a perky way and Danny smiled.

"I gotta admit, that's pretty darn cute..."He thought as he got their drinks.

However, condensation made one can hard to hold on to. The soda fell out of Danny's hands as it hit the ground, thankfully not breaking. Having not chosen who claims which can, they both reached for it.

Things were calm now...that is... until her and Danny's hands met when they both reached for and for a moment they realized that they touching finger tips at the same time, they locked eyes with one another and Danny got flustered.

"Sorry about that. You can have it if you want..."Danny said, looking a little bashful.

It made Katie's heart skip a beat and smiled widely, feeling all kinds of feelings right now.

"Danny...you're so...cute!..."She thought in a fit in infatuation, wanting him more and more.

She walked up to the boy as hearts grew in her eyes. Her mind was filled with thoughts of Danny and how he was becoming more and more important to her heart while the ghost boy wondered what was going through her mind.

"What is she doing?..."Danny thought as she got closer.

"Say Danny, I don't think I've properly thanked you for...everything..."Katie said as she stepped closer to him.

"Uhhh...that's okay?..."Danny said but the blonde shook her head.

"No, I really should...besides, I don't think I properly let you know how I feel..."She added.

Danny gulped and was very flustered now.

"What are you saying?..."He questioned, but got his answer as the blonde girl suddenly grabbed him.

Without any warning, Katie snatched him by the collar and dragged him into a nearby janitors closet. Locking the door behind them, she made sure no one saw, wanting private time with the boy.

"Wait, Katie. What are you doing?!..."Danny exclaimed at the sudden abduction.

Katie merely giggled and leaned over the boy as she studied him intensely... much to his hormonal swirl of emotions

"Oh, don't worry Danny. I'll promise that I'll be gentle. I won't bite..."She said, still giggling.

"Bite?! What does she mean?!..."He thought as he braced himself for anything.

Katie moved slowly towards the boy's face. Her hands interlocked with his as her eyes became half lidded. Her smile grew the longer she stared. She had her hands all over him, caressing his arms and back repeatedly and making the ghost boy shiver and feel warm at the same time.

"What she doing?..."Danny thought as she got closer.

"I think I'm really starting to like you, Danny Fenton~..."Katie cooed quietly, not wanting them to get caught.

The ghost boy blushed harder but made no effort to escape, mostly since she wasn't letting him go.

"Wow...this is...unexpected...and kinda nice..."Danny said as she giggled in response.

"And it's going to get better. Here you go, Danny~..."She cooed again as she leaned forward, puckering her lips.

Danny was sweating hard and was surprised when she kissed him again.

"Really? So, this is happening again..."He thought as she wrapped her arms around him and practically smashed her mouth onto his.

"Wow, just as intense!..."He thought as she kissed him again, much like on their first date.

It lasted just as long and Katie sighed happily when she parted. He was glad Tucker wasn't here to see this since his best friend would definitely get jealous of this.

"Oh, Danny, you're wonderful at kissing!..."She said as she began to kiss him several time on his cheeks.

Danny just stood there as she began her affectionate assault. Now that he knew it was coming, he was actually enjoying this and smiled a bit. Just a bit.

It wasn't the trouble he thought it'd be.

"She's really into this...actually, this isn't so bad..."He thought wistfully as Katie stopped kissing for a bit to breathe and to admire her work.

"Did you like that, Danny?..."Katie asked coyly as she ran a hand through his hair.

The ghost boy blushed and nodded.

"A pretty girl kissing me...who'd complain about that?..."He asked as he decided to just go with it.

He is still confused about this but decided no point in arguing. Not that he'd have a reason to. Besides, she's pretty and she clearly likes him...Plus, she just stood up to Dash for him and made her dislike of the jock clear and defended him.

Besides, Katie obviously likes him and he figure that he probably should start expecting this from her. Sure, he was still a little overwhelmed by this suddenness as it was a little more then he was used to but what was he complaining about?

For the first time, a cute girl he liked, liked him back and she was a nice, normal girl who didn't try to use him or wanted his ghost half destroyed.

It was kinda nice...especially as she kept peppering his face with her lips.

"I think that I can get use to this..."He thought as Katie went back to her kisses, savoring every moment and every touch.

All of it enjoyed by not just him.

"This is amazing!~..."Katie thought in complete bliss before resuming her focus to the task at hand as she deepened the kiss a bit and the ghost boy was kissing back.

"Okay this is actually starting to feel really good. Like REALLY good..."He thought, actually liking this.

He was about to pull away to breath, only for Katie to pull him back and kissed him on the lips again and her foot was even popping now.

"Mmmmm..."Katie let out as she took control of the kiss, getting more intense as...well...it was passed first base now.

The ghost boy was caught a little off guard again by her boldness, this was almost too much... to the point where it's a surprise she's not trying to kill him.

"Okay, this is a lot more then I was expecting. All I was expecting was a quick kiss, not a complete make out session?! .."Danny thought as he was starting to want to end the kiss but Katie clearly isn't done yet.

She continued lip-locking the boy as she melted more into it and the ghost boy was practically faint again.

"And I thought getting hit by a shuttle was a lot..."He thought but soon found himself starting to melt into the kiss again as his mind began to fade a little.

"Mmm..."Katie let out and Danny's brain shut down when her kiss was getting more intimate and his mind went blank.

Danny didn't have a single thought as his entire face was now red as a tomato and his eyes were wide too as Katie claimed his mouth for her own.

They remained like this for what felt like forever, not that Katie minded but even she needs to breath sometimes.

"MUAH!~..."Was loudly heard as they finally parted.

Danny was panting heavily now, trying to catch his breath and still unaware that he was covered with a large smear of Katie's pink lipstick was all over his face and lips. He was like a deer in the headlights as Katie had a dazed look on her face as she touched her lips.

She is blushing deeply and giggling, looking more enamored than before. She also couldn't help but find his astound face adorable like this.

"I think I'm in love!..."Katie thought in a fit of love-sickness and feeling overjoyed to experience something so wonderful.

Before anything could happen, Danny came too as he was still panting heavily, while Katie began to act coy and gave him flirty eyes.

"Nicely done Cutie, and if you play your cards right...it'll happen again..."She said flirtatiously.

The ghost boy didn't know what to say. He had been kissed speechless.

"Uh Um...I..Um...Huh?..."Danny stammered and she giggled again.

"I guess I left you speechless, again...I might have some kind of power..."Katie said with a smile before she winked at him before fixing up her makeup while Danny was still too dazed to really do anything about it.

Danny tried his best not to act like a total moron but wound up speaking gibberish once again.

"Yeah...I guess... you d- yeah..."He said, still unable to find any proper sentence structure after the kiss but Katie found it adorable.

"You're so sweet but we're not done yet..."She said as she planted another kiss on the guy that she is totally sure now that he likes her as much as she does.

Danny was still speechless as Katie spoke after pulling away.

"You like, huh, Danny Sweetie?..."Katie said, pecking his cheek and Danny didn't know what to say.

He did his best to form thoughts, though.

"Uh...wow..."He said, still speechless after all that kissing.

However, gears turned in the girl's mind as Katie thought now was the perfect time.

"I know it's a little soon but this is definitely feels like the right moment..."Katie thought as she decided to go for it.

She wrapped her arms around him and looked him in the eye, while the ghost boy is still gone in la-la land to properly respond.

"So, Danny?..."Katie began, twirling some of his hair again, while the ghost boy is still dazed.

"Yeah..."He said, not really thinking as he was still pretty gone.

"Since I've been here, you've been a great guy and I really, really like you..."She added.

"Uh-huh..."Danny said, still gone and not really listening to what Katie is saying.

Katie gave a smile that only added to the trouble of staying together mentally, especially when she made a coy pose.

"And I think it's time we settles thing and get to the...heart of the matter..."She giggled at her own joke before becoming serious.

"Danny? Do you... wanna be my boyfriend?..." She asks.

That snapped him out of it as he registered the words.

"Wait... Did she just say...boyfriend?!...She wants to be around me... Like a girlfriend but not a friend friend?!..."He thought as he came back to reality.

This girl was asking to be his girlfriend. He had to make if he hadn't just heard it himself.

"Wait...Boyfriend? ALREADY?!..."He asked and Katie nodded.

"Yes, I do. I feel we really connect...So, what do ya say?..."She asked, fluttering her eyelashes at him.

Danny wasn't sure what to say, but the look in Katie's eyes made him answer without thinking.

"Y-yes..."He said, lost in the girl's eyes.

Katie's grinned widened and she jumped with joy. It was like a dream come true.

"Then come here, Boyfriend!..."She said happily before pulling him back for more kissing, but this time as a couple.

All the while, the ghost boy wondered if he had decided too soon.
