Goin' KABOOM!

Chapter 10: Lots of Thinking

Tucker had just arrived to Fenton Works for two reasons.

One, he had finished unpacking and two...he wanted to see if Danny was back and talk to him about more on his time at the game competition... and also ask him more about that cute girl Katie, whom he was seeing tonight.

"I wonder how Danny is doing...and if Katie has a sister..."He thought.

Ringing the doorbell, the boy was greeted by Jazz.

"Hey, Jazz. Is Danny around?..." Tucker asked.

"No, not yet. He's still out..."Jazz replied. She opened the door more as she stepped to the side.

"You wanna wait inside?..."She offered and the tech geek nodded.

"Yeah, I'll just wait for him..." Tucker says as he plops on the sofa, while Jazz went back to reading her book.

The tech geek decided to pass the time by playing a puzzle game on his PDA. Tucker played the game with the volume up, making a noise here and there for every move he made, much to Jazz's annoyance.

"Must you do that here?..." She questioned.

"Without question..."Tucker said, making the red head roll her eyes.

"He needs headphones..."She thought as she tried to get back to reading.

A little later

Jazz decided to go read in the privacy of her room, while Tucker continued to wait for his friend.

He glanced at the clock and saw that it was getting late and he'd have to be leaving for curfew soon.

"It's late..."He thought as he wondered if he should call or not.

He didn't want to interrupt if his friend is still out but it seemed rare Danny would be out this long if no ghosts are involved...then again, Danny hasn't dated much since that thing with Valerie a while back and there is always the possibility that a ghost DID show up.

Just then, certain ghost boy phased into the room, with a blank, almost surprised look on his face.

It's Danny.

"Danny, you made it..."Tucker said as he got up.

"Tucker? Why are you in my living room?..."Danny questioned, surprised to see him here now.

"Was wondering how you were..."Tucker said before putting his PDA away.

"Oh... okay..." Danny responded.

It didn't take long for his friend to begin grilling him for details about his date with Katie.

"So, how'd it go? Did you two kiss? Was there a ghost attack? Is she secretly some kind of monster who wants you to be her mate?..."Tucker asked the last one as a joke but before Danny could ask, he continued " Does she have a sister or cousin around out age?..." Tucker asked quickly.

Danny blinked a few times to snap out of it. He thought back to the last couple of hours and flushed deeply, remembering the kissing and...something else

"We... kissed..."Danny said, still blushing and rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh... and?..." Tucker egged him for more.

"I... think I just became her boyfriend..."Danny said rather flatly while Tucker's jaw dropped.

"WHAT?!..."The tech geek exclaimed in shock.

"I said...I think I just became her boyfriend..."Danny repeated.

"Okay, tell me everything..."Tucker demanded and Danny sighed, still unsure how to explain what has happened these last few days.

Still, he tried.

"Okay...it's like this..."Danny said as he began to explain what has happened since he and Sam left, how he met Katie and wound up on two dates with her...and how she asked him to be her boyfriend and how she...sealed the deal, so to speak.

"And then I walked her home and we said...goodnight and then I came home..."He said, still feeling pretty flustered.

He noticed Tucker's expression was both disbelieving, shock and even envy.

"Unbelievable, I leave town for one weekend and you managed to get a girlfriend who's practically A-List hot and got a kiss from her..."He muttered.

"It wasn't just a kiss..."Danny thought but kept to himself.

He wasn't sure if he should mention just how much Katie kissed him, mostly because he figured he'd get even more jealous and the fact that Tucker might not believe him.

Danny still finds it hard to believe, to be honest.

Still, despite being jealous, Tucker cracked a smile and tried to be supportive.

"Still, congratulations man...Katie's really cute and seems cool..."Tucker said, remembering how nice she was when she talked to him.

Danny flushed and scratched his arm.

"Thanks..." He said.

"I bet it was amazing." Tucker said.

"It was...something..."The ghost boy said, not sure if that was the right word.

Danny felt a shiver as he remembered tonight. After spending almost half an hour in that closet, Katie had her hands all over him and stuck to him. It was kind of nice and flattering but also kind of overwhelming to be honest.

Don't get him wrong, the kissing is awesome, even if it got a little much but he figures Katie is just really affectionate. Plus, like Tucker said, she really is just a nice girl who seems to like him, even if she did get a little carried away tonight.

Perhaps more than Danny was used to.

While he always looked forward to having a girlfriend, he can't help but think back to his last conversation with Katie, when he walked her home...and how they parted.

FLASHBACK

Danny had just dropped Katie off at her house and the blonde girl and him were now in the middle of a goodnight kiss.

A long one and she was clearly enjoying it, if her moaning is any indication.

"Mmm..."Katie let out as she had her arms around him and her foot was popping out.

"Someone's really into this..."Danny thought with grin as he just went with it.

The kiss lasted about five more seconds before they parted to breath.

"MUAH!..."Was heard.

Both teens were blushing and Katie looked both smitten and satisfied while Danny just stood there with a dazed expression on his face.

"I gotta admit, she's a good kisser..."He thought, still in a hormonal daze.

Katie giggled as she rubbed his chin a bit and twirled some of his hair.

"That was wonderful..."She said as she continued to rub his chin.

"Y-Yeah...wonderful..."Danny said, still blushing from all the contact he just had with her.

Katie smiled and giggled again, making the ghost boy gulp.

"This was fun and I can't wait to walk to school with you tomorrow..."She said.

"Walk to school?..."Danny questioned before he remembered something. "Oh yeah...you're coming to Casper High tomorrow..."Danny said and Katie smiled.

"Yeah and you did say that you were going to give me a tour of it too..."Katie reminded.

"Yeah, I remember..."Danny nodded and Katie smiled.

"Perfect...we'll I better get inside...but before you go..."She said before giving him another, shorter kiss on the lips, which once again made Danny's eyes widen.

"Again?..."The ghost boy thought after the cute blonde pulled away.

She then had an enamored look before sighing and placing a small kiss on his cheek, making the boy turn more red.

"See you at school tomorrow...boyfriend..."Katie said in a sweet way before going inside her house.

Danny just stood there with that dazed look on his face before deciding to go home, still unable to comprehend what happened today.

End Of Flashback

Present Time

The ghost boy remained silent and replayed that incident in his head.

"She's really into me being her boyfriend, huh..."He thought while his best friend kept congratulating him.

"So, I can't help but wonder how the rest of the school will react..."Tucker said as his friend still had some thoughts about this whole thing with Katie.

Later

Danny was now dressed in his purple pajamas and was getting ready for bed.

However, as he looked at his reflection in the mirror, he couldn't but recall all those kisses he got the other night...from his new girlfriend.

"Girlfriend..."He thought before grinning. "Well, at least she's not a ghost hunter..."He thought as he recalled his time with Valerie.

Sure, he hasn't exactly been Mr. Popularity with some girls and his last relationship ended before it officially started but still...it was kinda cool having a girl like Katie into him.

Sure, it was also kinda sudden how they just met a few days ago and are already boyfriend and girlfriend but maybe he was reading too into it. Katie just likes him and wants to date him and she is very nice, if flirtatious and bold.

Still...thinking back to the closet brought a stupid grin on his face as he had to admit, he did like it and Katie did too.

"She is a good kisser and really nice. I guess I should be grateful about this..."He thought as he touched his lips, still feeling Katie's lips on them.

Maybe this is gonna be the start of something amazing.

I mean, he just got a really pretty, nice, funny, cute, flirty, sweet and beautiful girl who likes him and hates Dash to be his girlfriend and she is also a good kisser and she seems to be genuine about all of this.

Plus, like he said before, she's a good kisser and that's something he can really get used to.

"This will be great..."The ghost boy thought as he went to bed, unaware of what tomorrow has in store for him and his new girlfriend.
