The scene starts off with Hayley, who is staring at a guitar…for some reason when Chef, who was listening to some music on his phone, saw what she was doing and came up to her.
He takes his headphones off to say "Hey, what are you doing?"
"What?" She turns around to face him. "Oh, I'm sorry, I was just studying this thing called a guitar. I know what it is because I'm programmed to make one, if need be, but I don't know what it does, but apparently it has something to do with mu…sic, which is the theme for the next floor, but I don't know the first thing about this moosic or whatever it's called because it's not in my programming, and…"
"Woah woah woah woah," Chef stopped her right there. "Did you try listening to some songs first?"
"Songs? What are those?"
"It's like music and you.. you know what, why don't you just listen." He slips his headphones on her.
She listens for a few seconds before asking "Um…this one song, it mentions someone named Joe Dimaggio. Who is that?"
"Oh, he was a famous baseball player." Chef swings a pretend baseball bat. "He could really swing it too."
"And Marilyn Monroe?"
"She was an actress, she had pale skin, curly blonde hair, she was a really big deal back in the day."
"Oh, okay. I'm sorry, I wasn't programmed with the knowledge of human history, just how everything that's been and has been looks. I know certain things about it, like how cars looked in America cira the 1950's, but I don't know everything."
"Oh no, it's okay." Chef pats her on the back. "Why don't we listen to some more music together? It'll probably help you out with this next challenge." Chef suggested.
"I'd like that." Hayley smiles back.
AN: Another minisode in the books. I figured that this next challenge needed an explanation for how it got to this point and an explanation of Hayley's weaknesses, so I made this minisode to accomplish that. Hope you enjoyed it, episode should be out in a few.
