(Skipping Intro for now)
Konoha/ timeframe/ 1 year later/ Streets of Konoha
Currently at this time, Emerald, Naruto, and surprisngly Shiromaru were walking down the road while Shiromaru was on guard just in case, sometimes people were idiotic and tried to harm Naruto and Emerald was tagging along to be his protector as usual since he was till in training with Taijutsu… thanks to training with Serina, he was able to use special webs to swing around Konoha if needed, launch up buildings quickly (Though he still needed to work on landings), and finally he was able to use a Jutsu that brought him one step closer to being able to help Kurama… the art of reading seals… though calling it a Jutsu was a bit lose, Naruto however was reading a lot from the Library in the Namikaze compound and a select few happened to be on seals and what their meanings were.
For starters from what he could break down, he knew the seal was something called the eight trigrams seal… granted that was the most he got from meditations so he could look at the seal in his mind when he had the chance but looking for something like this was… problematic since when he looked the thing up… best he could it it was a high level seal that required something called a key… Kurama explained that she was weakening it over time but any results wouldn't be for a number of years so to make things comfortable, while he couldn't change how his mind looked, he did add some things to his mind for Kurama in her human shaped form for her to use… a TV of sorts so she could look through his eyes, a phone so she could speak with him, and other things like a bed and stuff so she could sleep not on water.
This got a head pat of sorts as a reward from Kurama at the time and when Naruto told Serina this, she was a bit surprised since Kurama seemed to be warming up to Naruto… at a slow rate at least…
Still Emerald, during one of the walks that Naruto looked a bit thoughtful and when he was told about Kurama long ago, he asked this.
"Hey Naruto… do you really think its a good idea of releasing the Nine tails?... mind controlled or not, she did attack Konoha… if people thought you were a demon how do you think they will react to Kurama being released even if its partially?" Emerald asked while he sees that the trio of Shiromaru, who was filled in about Kurama kept quiet since this was a matter not of his business somewhat.
"I could care less what they would think, Emerald. To me Kurama and I are victims. She doesn't deserve to be trapped inside me. Besides, I'm sure she would want freedom more than attack the village." Naruto said.
"Maybe but there are two issues with this if a plan is not made…. First ever consider HOW to get her out?... I heard from my father that most hosts of tailed beasts after extracted die shortly after, sure Uzumaki's can last and stuff but given how young you are compared to a full grown Uzumaki like your mom, you may want to think of a way to leak a small part of her out instead of fully releasing her for now and two… even if that did happen with a leak… last I checked she is in her real form… a massive Nine tailed demonic chakra fox… ever think of what form she will take when initially released?, sure she can turn into this smaller human form, but wouldn't that have to be after her initial form is seen?" Emerald said when he brought up two good points… Naruto's life is at risk if he undid the seal too soon and two… how would Kurama appear without smashing things up from her getting free even if its just a fraction of herself…
"Hehe, smart kid, should leave the planning up to him given how rushed you are in freeing me." Kurama said through the link she and Naruto had as Kurama watched things from inside Naruto while she laid on her bed in her prison.
"Okay… I didn't think this through but hey, still learning." Naruto said through the link before looking at Emerald.
"Okay… you made a point there." He said.
"Yeah anywa-!" Emerald tried to say before a smash was heard and crying was heard which caused Emerald, Shiromaru, and Naruto to gun it towards the source of the crying and they saw a familiar girl while she had a scraped knee and stuff… Ino yamanaka.
The trio ran to her while Emerald quickly looks around a bit just in case while on guard… he noticed a person running from their direction so he thought nothing of it for a moment as Naruto knelt next to Ino.
"Hey Ino. Are you okay?" Naruto said with a concerned look.
Ino in turn was still crying, however seeing Naruto, Emerald, and Shiromaru caused her to cry more while she tried to say something.
"N-No!... I-I was left with w-watching the store a-and t-thief… he-he…" Ino tried to say as Emerald's eyes widened and he looks at Shiromaru while he gripped Naruto by the shirt.
"Keep an eye on Ino, Shiromaru!" Emerald said as Emerald bolts from the duo while Naruto looked royally confused.
"W-What the!?" Naruto said while Shiromaru walked to Ino and licked at her injured knee while he tried to calm her a bit with a wagging tail when he pretended to act like an oversized puppy.
Ino did sniff a bit but was starting to feel better before she softly pets Shiromaru.
As this happened, Emerald and Naruto were jumping from rooftop to rooftop while a confused Naruto watched Emerald looking at the streets.
"W-What was that for?" Naruto said when he used an occasional web to pull himself towards a roof top to keep up with Emerald.
"Simple, I saw the back of the thief Naruto." Emerald said when he examined the people and noticed a familiar sight.
"There!, the only running man in the crowd." Emerald said when he points his hand at a figure carrying a package and seemingly in a rush.
Naruto blinks a bit before narrowing his eyes.
"Then let's get him!" He said before he starts swinging after the guy.
Emerald nods his head as he jumped towards the ground while making hand signs.
"Earth release: mud wall!" Emerald said when he surprised many when he used a controlled mud wall to go under the thief's foot, launching the guy into the air as Naruto flew right towards him and the package that the man carried.
Naruto was able to get this close before he got the package.
"I'll take that!" He said before swinging away.
When Naruto got the package safely and the thief crashed on the ground, he looks at Naruto with venom.
"Damn demon, can't believe you attac-!" the thief tried to say as Emerald lands on the thief's gut with both feet, winding him.
"I believe he only took a package that didn't belong to you… unless you are really willing to push things… why don't we get Inoichi Yamanaka to read your mind… I'm sure he would love the details of how you stole from his little girl… or better yet, why don't we get Anko the interrogator and tell her how you harmed a little girl… I'm sure she would love to pick your brain… or maybe have Inoichi and Anko team up… we are rather friendly with Anko… she does live with Naruto and I after all..." Emerald said with a scary grin as Naruto shivered from that when Emerald looked rather… scary… and people call Naruto a demon?... Emerald seems like a demon himself with that grin as he leaned in towards a paling thief.
The thief paled.
"Oh Kami no. I would rather be in jail than this."
Emerald chuckles once and he said this.
"Follow us than back to the Yamanaka flower shop… apologize on the ground… and turn yourself into the police after… if you don't… I'll make sure both Anko and Inoichi fuck you over physically and mentally." Emerald said with a scary grin again as the thief pales more… in no time he was before a confused Ino on the ground in a begging position while Naruto sweatdrops as he sees a grown man begging this to a child who was resting against Shiromaru.
"I-I'm so sorry!, I'll turn myself in and turn over a new leaf!... just please get this demon to stop with the threats!" The thief said when he points at Emerald much to Ino's confusion… wasn't Naruto the demon she heard about… he had the package back and stuff in perfect condition… than again the scary grin from Emerald to the thief unnerved her as Naruto walked over and passed her the package.
"Um… sorry for the strangeness here… here is the package, made sure it didn't get harmed." Naruto said when he smiles kindly at Ino.
Ino was still confused before she grabs the package back.
"Well thanks you two for getting it back." She said with a smile as she was glad that the package was back.
"Hehe, no problem, when I heard from Emerald we were chasing a thief, I sprung into action to get the package while Emerald launched the thief into the air." Naruto said when he pumped his fist into the air and a webbing of chakra shot up from his excitement and well… it lands on Emerald's head and he got a tick mark as he looks at Naruto with a glare as his face turned pitch black and his eyes turned pure white though he kept quiet for now… though Naruto knew that look and gulps… it never ended well in sparring when Emerald got that look though… Ino was laughing a bit at the sight when this seemed so comical to her.
"Uh… oops?" Naruto said as Ino kept laughing.
"Kami, that's funny!"
"Oh I'm so glad you're amused by this… Naruto I'll be taking this guy to the police force… make sure nothing happens to Ino while Shiromaru and I keep this guy from running off." Emerald said as Shiromaru gripped the thief's shirt and dragged him away as Emerald followed him while he struggled to get the web off his hair with one hand… leaving Ino and Naruto alone while Ino held the package with care.
Naruto sighs.
"Oh man… he's gonna beat me up during our spar."
Ino giggles a bit from this as she looks at Naruto with a smile.
"Well… hopefully you'll recover well from this… still… thanks… Naruto… didn't expect you to help me like this." Ino said with a slight blush on her face.
Naruto did felt a bit better as he rubs the back of his head.
"Well that guy was wrong to steal from you especially when he pushed you. Are you feeling alright?" He said.
"Well… Shiromaru helped cheer me up… he was funny like an oversized puppy." Ino said when she smiles at Naruto more though Naruto gave an ehh like noise when he remembers Shiromaru being pretty stoic and stuff… guess its a thing he did to cheer up girls.
"Well that's good to hear." Naruto said before looking at the package for a bit.
"So where was the package going? Do you want me to help you deliver it?"
"Hmmm?... oh no… were actually where it needs to go… my papa and momma left me in charge of the store for a few minutes while they went to do something and I was about to bring this in when it was delivered when that guy pushed me to the ground." Ino said when she points at a sign that said Yamanaka flowers.
Naruto blinks a bit.
"I see… Well since Emerald and Shiromaru are dealing with the thief, need me to help you with something til your parents come back? Just in case another thief shows up."
Ino looks thoughtful and smiles at Naruto.
"Sure… though try anything pervy and my papa won't be happy about that, I heard from him that boys only have one thing on their minds until they get older." Ino said while she comically glared at Naruto a bit.
Naruto jolts before he had his hands up in defense.
"W-Well don't worry. Not like the other boys. All I do is train and study. Sometimes I tend to my garden when taking a break."
"Garden?" Ino said when she looked curious and forgot about the boy thing.
"Uh yeah, I have my own little garden and I tend to it when taking a break and stuff." Naruto said.
Ino looked really curious now.
"R-Really?... think I could see it later?" Ino asked when she wanted to see this garden thing Naruto had.
Naruto smiles excitedly.
"Sure! I was even thinking of adding a bit more flowers. You have anything to recommend?"
Ino looks really excited as she and Naruto go into the flower shop.
"Well it depends on the soil and how much sun and water you have, in fact…." Ino said as time passed to much later… so much so that it was nighttime one day and Emerald, on an errand to gather some groceries for the compound, noticed something odd near the Uchiha main compound gate… he approached it curiously and noticed Sasuke Uchiha about to enter the main compound… and Sasuke noticed Emerald with a bag of groceries in hand… at this point in time the Uchiha clan was still strong… however this night would soon change that greatly.
"Huh… wonder what you're doing out this late Sasuke." Emerald said when he approached the Uchiha kid, at this point in time Sasuke was around 7 to 8 years of age, same as Naruto and Emerald right now, thanks to them about to enter the Ninja academy, Emerald sometimes saw Sasuke train a few times and even trained with him a bit in Taijutsu practice when Naruto was busy with Spider ninjutsu training so Emerald and Sasuke had a bit of a friendship going on right now given how they both had decent skills in being Ninja at least in some jutsu use at such young ages.
"Oh hey Emerald. Was doing some last minute training before heading home." Sasuke said.
"I see… hey want some help with cooking?... won't lie your mom's cooking is really good… hoping to get some leftovers to take home like last week, got groceries as well so I doubt many can complain if I help cook most of it… Naruto ate that stuff up and said your mom is a good cook." Emerald said when he gave a rare actual kind smile to Sasuke, given how he stuck with Naruto alot, Emerald was starting to learn emotions more than just a stoic look, granted it was rare to see him do this but given how stoic he normally was, this was a large emotion thing from Emerald that Sasuke rarely seen and was a little amused by this.
This made Sasuke smile lightly at Emerald.
"Sure. Follow me." He said.
Emerald nods his head, however when Emerald and Sasuke entered the gates… both were stunned and Sasuke is horrified to see many bodies littering the streets of the Uchiha district.
"The fuck…" Emerald muttered as he dropped the groceries before he narrows his eyes.
"Sasuke!, your parents!" Emerald said to snap Sasuke out of his stupor as Emerald ran by Sasuke towards Sasuke's home.
Sasuke's eyes widened before he quickly starts running to his house.
When the duo got there and ran inside, they smelt the scent of blood or Sasuke did at least… when the duo ran to where the source was… they were shocked to see Sasuke's brother standing over the bodies of Fugaku Uchiha and Mikoto Uchiha… Sasuke's parents…. Both seemingly dead.
Itachi noticed the duo.
"Hello Emerald… little brother." He said.
"Itachi! What have you done?!" Sasuke said with anger.
"As you can see… ended our clan… most of it anyway…" Itachi said while Emerald noticed Mikoto's hand twitching a few times which showed she was alive and tried to get Itachi's attention so he wouldn't notice.
"I call bull on that… I heard about you Itachi, knew you as well from a few of my visits… unless…" Emerald said as his eyes widened when he realized something though Itachi's eyes changed and as his eyes locked with Emerald's Emerald cringed as his left arm throbs and he screams when Itachi was confused as Emerald glared at Itachi.
"Sorry… but my father Danzo pretty much made me immune to Genjutsu Itachi…" Emerald said when Itachi understood that Danzo really was a horrible man for something like that when he heard a few rumors about Emerald being Danzo's son.
"I see… Well doesn't matter… I completed what I needed to do… I would have used Genjutsu to show my brother what I did to the rest of our clan… but I'm sure you would get in the way… I'm running out of time however so I'll leave you two alone… consider yourselves lucky and Sasuke… if you want revenge… get as strong as you can..." Itachi said as he jumped from the window leaving Emerald and Sasuke as Emerald collapsed to one knee as he held his left arm seemingly in pain.
"Emerald!" Sasuke said as he looks at him.
"Forget me!... get a medic ninja now!, your mom is still alive but barely, if we don't help her now she won't make it… I'll carry her!" Emerald said as he got to his feet while he looked like he was about to pass out as he moved to Mikoto while she twitched again on the ground showing she was still alive but barely as Emerald struggles to get her arms around his neck when he used his cloak to cover her wounds like a faux bandage… though he noticed for a moment that Sasuke's sharingan was active but it was now deactivated… better keep quiet about that for now.
Sasuke wanted to help him but his mom needed more help.
"I'll be right back!" He said before he went to go get help.
Emerald however knew that while Sasuke would make it, as he got out of the building with Mikoto… his eyes narrowed when he saw Danzo and a few root Ninja appear before him at a distance.
"Ah Emerald. Wasn't expecting you to be here. Why are you here son?" Danzo said.
"Oh shove it… Itachi attacking the Uchiha… Sasuke and I not getting attacked by him and killed… you and Root appearing here and not shocked at the sights of the bodies… I may be young but I'm your son… you pretty much raised me to throw away my naive side when I could walk… you caused Itachi to attack the Uchiha somehow… bet it was for the good of the leaf… I heard rumors about some kind of coup but I doubt every Uchiha was involved in this." Emerald said when he glared at Danzo with a raw cold fury as Danzo looked amused.
"You are correct but we can't be too careful. Who knows how deep the coup is. Regardless, Itachi did his job." Danzo said.
A few Root drew their some Kunai though Emerald stopped them when he said this.
"Harm Mikoto and I'll release the seal before you can even move another step… you and your Root… you can subdue me easily that much I get… but I doubt it won't be before the third and others catch wind and come here… you want what's best for Konoha… I doubt you will like it if I risk getting attention at a late hour… besides I doubt you'll touch Sasuke given that Itachi is most likely watching nearby… a deal I bet… doubt you can deal with both Itachi and I if Sasuke comes back with a medic nin and you try and harm him." Emerald said with a cold look and a deadly tone to his voice as the metal on his left arm showed many intricate seals that cracked in warning...
Few of the Root were cautious as Danzo was again amused.
"So cunning, very well. We will take our leave. Though do be careful next time Emerald. Don't wish to have your mother worried."
Emerald emits a lot of killing intent at this and as Danzo and Root left, Emerald fought to calm himself as Sasuke came by with a few medic ninja and Sarutobi himself and they noticed Emerald carrying Mikoto on his back as he dragged her from the home towards them.
The group immediately went to him.
"Don't worry Emerald, I brought help." Sasuke said.
"Good, not sure if anyone else is alive… I can still hear Mikoto's breath, Lord third, you need to help her now… I'm sure you can guess what else happened here besides Itachi's attack if you came in person." Emerald said in a roundabout way of letting the third know about Danzo's hand in this while Emerald gave a rare look of raw anger, thankfully Sasuke didn't hear it thanks to him being near his mother who was barely alive as medic ninja worked to heal Mikoto with all their might, they would have to take days of careful work to make sure she would live.
Sarutobi had a serious look on his face.
"Indeed… but I'll worry about this later, right now we need to make sure that you and Sasuke's mother are healed."
"I'll be alright, just need an aspirin or something." Emerald said as he held his head where he has a serious headache that made his head throb.
Sarutobi sees this before takes out a bottle of aspirin.
"Here. Always carry it with me just in case."
"Thanks." Emerald said as he got a pill from the bottle and swallowed it and passed the bottle back to Sarutobi.
Time then went to a number of hours later in one of the Hospital's with Mikoto starting to come too though she still felt really weak.
Mikoto groans again as she opens her eyes before the doctor was by her side.
"Easy there Mikoto-san. You're still a bit weak after what happened."
Mikoto was confused for a moment before memories rush back to her and as she covered her eyes and starts to cry, the door opens to show a tired Sasuke walking in followed by Emerald and surprisingly Naruto, Serina, and the third Hokage.
"Mother!" Sasuke said as he ran to her side with a worried look.
"Are you okay?!" He said.
Mikoto looks at her son and she cried more as she pulled Sasuke in for a hug while glad he was alright… she had been waiting for Death at Itachi's hands but didn't expect this kind of miracle.
As this went on, Emerald nudged Naruto and this caused Naruto to jolt before he spoke up.
"H-Hey… Sasuke… Mrs. Mikoto… um… Emerald talked with me and after talking it over with the others, we decided to see if you two wanted to… live with us." Naruto said surprisingly.
Mikoto and Sasuke were surprised after hearing that.
"R-Really? Are you sure?" Mikoto said.
"Yeah well place can be a bit empty and after hearing about what happened at your place… may not be a good idea to go back there…" Naruto said as Serina closed the iconic fan that she had.
"Indeed… we heard a lot from Emerald… seems your husband was planning a coup and Danzo that bastard planned this… unfortunately while Sarutobi disbanded Root, thanks to how Danzo covered his tracks, he got off Scott free more or less… fucking bastard…" Serina said while Sasuke starts to look livid and glared at Emerald with raw anger.
Naruto was cautious when he saw that anger as he sees Sasuke march over to Emerald.
"This was your father's doing. He still lives while my clan suffered!"
Emerald was quite at this and this caused Sasuke to pretty much rush Emerald and slugged him on the face, knocking him back, before anyone could stop an enraged Sasuke, Serina held them back for some reason as Emerald picked himself up and looks at the enraged Uchiha kid.
"Yeah… that's just how fucked up he is… you think I want to be his son… as shocking as this sounds Sasuke… even after what he caused… I hate him much more than you ever will… I know him… I know how twisted he is and as shocking as this sounds… having Itachi kill your people is a mercy because he could have done much much more… if it wasn't for me, your mother would have been killed by him and his agents… and he would have said it's for the Good of Konoha…" Emerald said as he gave Sasuke a cold empty look that reminds even the enraged Uchiha that Emerald was Danzo's son… it didn't mean he wasn't better off because of it.
Sasuke was more enraged.
"Then there's only one… two things to do… Kill your father and then… kill Itachi."
Emerald however frowns.
"Even if that was the case, remember we're still kids… not only that Danzo as far as we know only ordered Itachi but unless we can get Itachi to confess, we have no proof of what he did… you may want revenge but think Sasuke… if you go with a single minded goal of getting stronger, sure it may work out but at what cost?, Danzo is more or less still welcome in Konoha, if we kill him, it would make either of us missing Ninja… wanted by many and I doubt you want to risk that with your mother giving you a worried look, first off we should get stronger as we grow because right now I know my father's skills and you know Itachi's… do you really think we can take them now as we are?" Emerald said to reason with Sasuke while Mikoto looks really worried about her son right now and how enraged he looks.
Sasuke wanted counter but… he knew that Emerald was right since Itachi was skillful while Danzo has been in the village the longest, besides the Hokage.
That's when Naruto tries to put his two cents in.
"Emerald's right, Sasuke. I may sometimes not act smart when thinking things through but… even I know that the road you're traveling will not be easy. Especially when training."
Though before Sasuke could snap at Naruto, Emerald said this.
"In case you didn't hear… Naruto is the fourth Hokage's son, he lives at the Namikaze compound sure… but did he live a good life beforehand?, Naruto was harmed by many in the village and it's only thanks to Serina and Lord third that things are looking up for him… don't think you are the only one who knows pain Sasuke." Emerald said to get Sasuke to see more reason since some in this room could get his pain.
Sasuke was quiet again after hearing that.
He did remember seeing Naruto get hurt and was called a demon, for reasons unknown to him… so in retrospect, seems Naruto does understood.
While Sasuke was thoughtful, Serina looks at Mikoto.
"Hey Mikoto-chan… I know you won't be discharged for a few days so we will take Sasuke to the Namikaze Compound, I'll have a few of my children keep an eye on you just to make sure you'll be safe and what not." Serina said when she closed her fan and she looks at Sasuke kindly.
"Sasuke… I know you may want to stay by your mother but she won't be able to heal probably without rest… don't worry, my children and I'm sure Sarutobi's Anbu will keep a watchful eye on Mikoto-chan." Serina said to help Sasuke feel better even if it was just a bit.
Even though Sasuke felt better that his mom will be watched, he was still cautious to leave her.
Mikoto can tell how worried her son is.
"Don't worry Sasuke, I'll be okay." She said with a motherly smile.
This helped Sasuke relax enough to follow Serina when she gently took his hand and led Sasuke out of the room.
Sarutobi on his end looks at Mikoto and he had a sorrowful look on his face.
"Mikoto… if it's any consolation I'm sorry for your loss… I'll make sure that your well cared for here and everything." Sarutobi said as he looks at the others.
Emerald on his end kept quiet before he starts to walk out of the room while he rubbed his face where Sasuke slugged him.
Naruto looks at his direction.
"Where are you going Emerald?"
"Having my nose checked out, Sasuke got me good." Emerald said when he walked out of the room before anyone could stop him and when Naruto followed Emerald out… he was surprised Emerald had vanished from the hall before they could see him.
"Dang… that was fast." Naruto said.
"Well don't worry Naruto, he'll be back. Anyhow, if there's nothing else, We should give Mikoto some rest now." Sarutobi said.
"Right… just in case though…" Naruto said before he bit his thumb after entering Mikoto's room and summoned Aragog just now.
"Huh?, What am I doing here and why do I feel the urge to look at these light?" Aragog said when he looks at the lights that flickered a few times and seemed to be in a hypnotic daze… though Naruto hitting him upside the head got his attention.
"Focus!, I need you to guard Mrs. Mikoto here until Jiji's guards get here or your siblings thanks to Serina and stuff." Naruto said when he pointed at Mikoto.
Aragog looks at Mikoto who was a bit surprised to see a big spider as Aragog rubs his head.
"Okay… Geez you didn't have to hit me."
"Will you stop looking at the flickering lights than?, Sasuke's mom was nearly skilled and needs protecting… so either focus and earn a lot of praise from many or get in serious trouble if anything happens to Mrs. Mikoto on your watch… I'll treat you to a lot of Ramen later as a reward for doing this and stuff." Naruto said while he had a serious look on his face.
Surprisingly, Aragog had an excited look.
"You can count on me boss." He said with a firm salute.
Sarutobi facepalms and chuckles a bit.
"Leave it to Natuto to corrupt a Spider into loving Ramen." Sarutobi said with an amused tone to his voice.
Naruto pouts.
"Ramen is awesome!"
"Right… anyway we should get going now so rest well Mikoto, Aragog won't cause issues with Serina being told what he may do." Sarutobi said when he smiles at Mikoto and looks at Naruto.
"Well might as well get some of that Awesome Ramen on the way home… worked up an appetite and everything." Sarutobi said to help get Naruto out of the room.
"Yatta! Let's go jiji." Naruto said with an excited look.
After Naruto and Sarutobi left the room, Aragog smirks with his mandibles and said this.
"Well now that the two are out of the way… might as well say this… hey pretty mama, don't worry I'll make sure you're well protected." Aragog comically said as he flexed a few legs though comically had no muscle to show.
Mikoto blinks a bit before she lets out a small chuckle.
"Well thank you, Aragog."
Aragog in turn grins when he things he was making good moves though while he made Mikoto giggle and what not, the scene went to one last moment with Emerald on the roof of the hospital after he used minor healing Jutsu on his nose.
Though his mood fouled when he sensed his father appear near him and he looks at Danzo to see what he wanted.
"Hello again son. Everything okay with your nose?" Danzo said with an amused look.
Emerald was quiet as he looks at his father and all he said was this.
"All for Konoha huh?... Pretty sure you would be amused if I could kill you years from now if it means supporting Konoha by being stronger than you and possibly taking over Root even if it was disbanded… one thing I don't get even after spending a lot of time in Root when I was a baby till I went to live with Naruto… why go to these lengths?... You may say for Konoha… but what part?... The people who tormented their own Jinchuriki?... People who would help you kill a clan to save the rest and leave not even innocent alone… putting me through hell when you pretty much used that project with me… honestly I wonder if you even see people as people and citizens as nothing more than leeches… makes me wonder if the kind of path I choose would be for the betterment of Konoha if I got rid of you years from now… or worse since as sick as it sounds… you do things for Konoha's well being…" Emerald said when he looked away from Danzo to look at Konoha itself for a moment.
"Hehe, let's agree to disagree on things. Whether or not you kill me, at least we both agree that Konoha would be safe. If only Hiruzen let me take Naruto, I would've molded him to be the perfect ninja." Danzo said.
"Or unleashed a monster that couldn't be controlled… that's why you have me around Naruto… I may see him as an ally or even a… Brother given my unique condition… but when put right down to it… I'm the leash meant to subdue Kurama in case Naruto can't get her willing on his side… not sure if I should call you a mad genius or a sick psychopath… either way… better watch me well father… for good or bad I'll be getting stronger and if Naruto is the light of Konoha if he becomes Hokage… I'll be the darkness that keeps him in check… whether I like it or not." Emerald said before he jumped from the roof away from Danzo who looked even more amused at how Emerald was describing himself.
"Hehe… do me proud… son." Danzo said before he disappears.
The scene then shifts to a number of years later… 4 in fact making the 7 to 8 year old Naruto, Sasuke, and Emerald around 12 to 13 years old with a number of events happening.
First off thanks to Mikoto being around, Sasuke wasn't as brooding or as egotistical as he once was, however his drive to kill Itachi and Danzo after getting Itachi to confess to his crimes was still a huge factor and he normally sparred with Emerald and Naruto though at first, Naruto was the weakest of the group, thanks to training with Anko, Serina, and daily spars with Emerald and Sasuke on the compound training grounds, The three were getting stronger and Naruto was quickly getting a grasp of a number of Jutsu, some were handy at the Ninja academy because of some instructors still being assholes and trying to rig tests, however thanks to a mix of summoning small spiders and having Emerald or Sasuke cause a distraction every now and than, even if some found it hard to believe, Naruto was doing well in school… to some extent on stealing test answers and what not…
Another thing was Naruto not having a kill me orange outfit that he would have worn at his age, he had a vastly different one that fit his new spider summoning motif.
The outfit that Naruto had was a bit darker, like grey and black, which can help him blend well in the forests and had a hood with an attached mask for his mouth.
There was even a black spot on his back in a shape of a spider.
He has two scrolls on his sides while having a katana like sword, that belong to his mother, attached to his back.
To prevent the mask from giving him issues, he found something called space-time Ninjutsu his father used with sealing and though he wouldn't be up to his father's level of sealing anytime soon, he made it so the webs he shot from his mouth for larger Jutsu would pass right through the mask so he wouldn't have to remove it unless he was off the clock.
Anyway, Sasuke had a look similar to his part one self but he had a scroll on his back that had many cheap Katana stored away, more or less junk and at the breaking point but they would help with many lightning based Jutsu he happen to fancy, Kakashi happens to help Sasuke in that department and he even helped Naruto in some lessons like tree climbing and water walking… this caused Naruto's day when he could do moves like Emerald now.
Emerald however had the least amount of changes aside from him having a small scroll at his side for storing small objects… and his cylinder like Gauntlet was remade a few times over the years so he wouldn't get his arm crushed inside of the metal container.
Right now the trio were heading back home after a day of classes and while the group ran into Ino, looking like her Part 1 self before the Canon Time skip, she was a lot more training inclined from watching Sasuke train with Emerald and Naruto and while she did have a crush on Sasuke much to his chagrin… he did noticed Ino glancing at Naruto a few times when he wasn't looking.
Sasuke was a bit amused by this before Naruto notices Ino.
"Hey Ino!" He said with a wave.
Ino looks over at the trio when she sees them.
"Oh, hey Naruto, Emerald, Sasuke… heading back home for more training?" Ino said as Naruto chuckles.
"Yup, but not before a trip to Ichiraku Ramen." Naruto said as Emerald shakes his head.
"One would think with all the Ramen he consumes, his blood would be the Broth of Ramen by now." Emerald said when he looks a little amused at how many times the trio went to Ichiraku Ramen.
Sasuke chuckled.
"And perhaps his hair is nothing but ramen noodles." He said.
"Oh screw you guys." Naruto said with a tick mark.
Ino giggles at this when she sees how friendly the trio looks.
"Well I hope you three do well, I need to help out at the shop today so I won't be able to join today… oh but I can stop by later to see how that garden growing is going, those were some interesting herbs and flowers there." Ino said when she looks at Naruto mainly.
Naruto smiles at Ino.
"Thanks Ino. Had to make sure I picked wisely."
"Yeah, surprising how many poisonous plants you have behind that gated part as well, you trying to be some kind of poison Ninja or something… I think the Spider thing is more than enough since I heard you chuckling darkly when I heard pranks and poison one time." Ino said as Emerald facepalms.
"Naruto… is that why that shopkeep was paralyzed for a couple hours?" Emerald said when he gave Naruto a half lidded look.
Naruto tried to keep himself from chuckling.
"I don't know what you mean." He said.
Sasuke though didn't by that since he saw Naruto do it.
"Right… and I'm sure Ino wouldn't mind using her mind Transfer Jutsu to look for that memory huh?" Emerald said as he got an evil grin again… even gave a Kukuku like chuckle which unnerved many around.
Naruto jolted.
"Okay okay, it was me… Shopkeeper had it coming though."
"Yeah… heard it from Sasuke so was messing with you… heard you tried to buy a dirty book of all things and the shopkeep caught you… looks like our fears are true Sasuke… Naruto is the next lord Jiraiya… in sneaky skills… and pervy mind." Emerald said with a evil smirk.
Sasuke did smirk as Naruto jolt.
"N-No way! I accidentally picked up the wrong book." He said.
"Sure… and I don't own an Icha Icha tactics book to imitate Kakashi during spars to mess with you… if you want the… three of us to keep quiet Naruto… one steak for each of us instead of Ramen at the nearest BBQ joint we all know and love… what do you two think?" Emerald said with an evil grin as Sasuke and Ino had similar grins.
"Hehe, I can go for a nice steak." Sasuke said.
"Me too." Ino agreed.
"Nice… so Naruto… see you in an hour for the nice steak dinner the four of us will have… come along everyone… we should let Naruto enjoy the fact we're going for steak later." Emerald said as he, Ino, and Sasuke left Naruto alone while he fell to his hands and knees as he could picture the Yen leaving his wallet via wings.
"Dang it… there goes my ramen money." Naruto said as he silently cries.
Though around one corner looking at Naruto was Hinata, normally she would be watching Naruto but considering Naruto saved her and was friends with her now after the Lump ninja incident… she decided to help when she approached him.
"N-Naruto-Kun?... You ok?" Hinata asked with barely held bravery when she got close to the downed Ninja.
"Huh?… Oh hey Hinata-chan. Sorry you have to see me like this." Naruto said.
"N-No it's not an i-issue… overheard what happened… maybe I could help?, My family is planning a large dinner and it happens to be a steak based one… maybe you, Sasuke-san, Emerald-san, and Ino-san could come by?" Hinata said when she offered Naruto a chance for fine dining and stuff.
Naruto was a bit surprised when he heard that.
"Really? That would help big time… although, I don't want to impose or anything." He said.
Hinata blushed profusely at this.
"N-No it wouldn't… it would be nice to help you." Hinata said while she touched the tips of her fingers together cutely.
Naruto did blush a bit when he thought that was cute.
"Well… if you're sure then okay." He said while feeling better.
"G-Great… I'll talk with my family… see you four in a few hours?" Hinata said when she smiles a little at the accepted invitation.
Before Naruto left, he gave Hinata a little peck on the cheek before he went to go inform the others of the party.
This… overloaded Hinata and as Naruto ran off… Hinata passed out with a happy look on her face while a nearby Anbu picked Hinata up so the Anbu could take her back to the Hyuga Compound.
After two hours, Naruto, Emerald, Sasuke, and Ino were in front of the compound while Emerald looks at a smug Naruto.
"You're lucky Hinata helped you." Emerald said when he gave Naruto a half lidded look.
"Hey you guys wanted steak so here we are." Naruto said as Ino pouts.
"But you were meant to pay."
"Well not this time, Ino." Naruto said as he playfully stuck out his tongue.
"He has a point… besides I doubt with his allowance he can afford better than what we will get here." Sasuke said with an amused look to take a blow at Naruto's lack of funds.
"That was low Sasuke." Naruto said.
Before they could continue, two Hyuga guards approached them.
"Can we help you?" One of them said.
"Yeah, we were invited by Hinata for Dinner here?, I'm Emerald, this is Ino Yamanaka, this is Sasuke Uchiha, and this is Naruto Uzumaki, we would have brought Lillum with us but she is training with her mother in case you guys remember us." Emerald said when he looks at the guards.
Both guards were thought before they remembered.
"Ah yes, you two boys helped rescue lady Hinata. Please follow us, they're expecting you." The second guard said.
The two boys nod their heads and they, and Ino and Sasuke followed while Ino looks a bit confused.
"Rescue Hinata?, What did he mean?" Ino asked while Emerald looks at Ino as they walked.
"Well…" Emerald said as he explains what happens years ago during the head of Kumo incident, the fight Emerald, Naruto, and Lillum did to make sure war didn't break out.
"Honestly we were lucky the guy was holding back to try and capture Hinata otherwise none of us would be here since I heard he was after the Byakugan." Emerald said as he slowed to walk by Ino.
Ino was shocked.
"Sweet Kami… can't believe Kumo did that. Glad Hinata's okay."
"Me too. Almost forgot about that Kumo guy but I hope he's rotting in jail." Naruto said.
"Either that or executed and stuff, kidnapping and what not are pretty grave offenses, doubt Lord Hiashi would show mercy once this Head of Kumo was no longer a head." Emerald said as the four were led to a large set of double doors.
"Here is where we will leave you, we must head back to our posts, Lord Hiashi is expecting you four so please enjoy the dinner." The guards said before they left.
"Welp, let's head inside." Naruto said.
After that was said, the four enter, and when they did they saw many people sitting at a dinner table and well… three of the four gulp when everyone looks at them as one with rather stern looks for a moment though Emerald sweats a little at the gazes, chuckling was heard at the head of the table.
"Easy everyone, two out of the four here are honored guests." Hiashi said when he relaxed when he sees the four and a moment later, though still stern looking, many Hyuga's relaxed when they see two of the four people who helped the main household from the Kumo ninja years ago.
Naruto was able to calm down before bowing at the head Hyuga.
"Good evening lord Hyuga and thank you for inviting us."
Hiashi chuckles a bit when he gestures for Naruto to stand.
"Think nothing of it Naruto, and please no need for formalities, you saved my daughter, my brother, and much more that day… heard if that head of Kumo was killed, Kumo itself would have tried to ask for my head in return… Hizashi here would have knocked me out to take my place… can you believe it." Hiashi said when he looks at his brother near him with an amused look since that was said right to his face if that matter had came to pass… thankfully it hasn't yet.
"And you know I would do it brother. To protect our family." Hizashi said.
Hizashi's son Neji next to Hizashi however frowned, though he kept quiet given he was apart of the Branch household.
Naruto and the others noticed this but didn't say anything as Naruto quickly scanned the room to see if Hinata was here.
Turns out, she was actually entering the room and she wore a cute looking Kimono that helped accent her beauty, granted she and Naruto were still children… but it didn't mean Hinata wouldn't try and dress to impress.
Naruto did blush a bit when he saw Hinata wearing that kimono as she walks before joining her family.
She was happy to see Naruto and the group… mostly Naruto.
Hiashi smiles at this and he gestures to a few empty spots near Hinata.
"Come... were about to have a nice Dinner here, sit and talk with Hinata while the cooks prepare the meal." Hiashi said while the four move to sit though thanks to some pre talk before with Emerald and Sasuke… Naruto was unexpectedly between Hinata and Ino much to his surprise while Emerald was between Ino and Sasuke.
"H-Hi Hinata. You look nice." Naruto said while feeling a bit nervous for some reason.
Ino did smirk when she noticed that before looking at the young Hyuga.
"Yeah Hinata, that's a great Kimono."
Hinata blushed a little when she looks at the duo.
"T-Thank you… my mother picked it out for me, she will be joining shortly she had a stressful day so she is taking a little longer to bathe and what not." Hinata said as she looks at the duo.
"Well no sweat, Hinata-chan. Thanks again for inviting us." Naruto said with a smile.
Hinata blushed and she touched her fingers together cutely a few times while Sasuke said this in a teasing way.
"Hehe, considering the names and stuff, should Emerald and I save for paying for a wedding between you two in the future or something?" Sasuke said with a teasing grin as Emerald had an amused look in his eyes while he and Sasuke look at Naruto and by proxy Hinata in a teasing way.
Naruto and Hinata both blush brightly when they heard that as Ino decides to chime in.
"May as well show them some nice flowers and what not." She teased.
The three kids chuckle while Neji looks amused at seeing Hinata squirm like this while Hiashi looks highly amused.
"Well why not try and see how you two click, given how Naruto helped Hinata, I don't mind if she wants to try and date him, and who knows, more in the future." Hiashi said when he smiles at Hinata and Naruto a little though Emerald raised an eyebrow when things seemed a bit… too smooth with how not many were reacting to this.
"Well while that may be good Lord Hiashi… I would be surprised if the Elders of the Hyuga clan don't question this… sure, Naruto, Lillum, and I helped Hinata, but given how Naruto used to be called a demon… I highly doubt you would say this unless you have a plan of sorts to keep the elders hands tied from actually doing anything." Emerald said when he looks at the head of the Hyuga clan.
While this did cause many at the table to look insulted, Hiashi held a hand up to quiet many.
"Technically I do and while I do value the Elders opinion, I do want what's best for my daughter, I even had Hinata sent to the Ninja academy to get toughened up so she would be more confident about herself… And while I do have a plan… it's not something I would like but given Naruto's heritage would be announced to the public soon since many only see him as a protected child living in the Namikaze Compound… well the option I have is simple… the CRA…" Hiashi said while he cringes a bit at the mention of the word CRA while the kids besides Emerald looked confused.
"Huh?… what's that?" Naruto said as he doesn't know what it means.
Hiashi really didn't want to say if the look on his face was a good indicator.
Hizashi in turn chuckles as he looks at the kids.
"I'll explain for my brother since the… hehe… CRA… seems like a sore spot for him… in a nutshell it's called the Clan Restoration Act… it's where if a clan is about to be wiped out by various means, the survivors of the clan, by legal rights, date multiple women and as long as certain conditions are met, no one can legally get in the way unless they want a clan to die out, say for example if Sasuke wanted to rebuild his clan, he could under legal authority invoke the CRA and date multiple women and in the future have children with a number of women, the catch is that once your over 18, and a part of a prodigious clan, you need to have a number of children otherwise you'll be given strangers after some time to do the deed… it's a bit… messy but if this is invoked, Naruto can legally date Hinata and others given he is a rare Uzumaki and the fourths child, who knows what techniques and stuff could be Naruto's alone given the Uzumaki's and the Namikaze are rare clans… I'm not saying this to make it sound like Naruto should be… Jiraiya… but unless there is a law that prevents interruptions in a more one on one way, Naruto would be forced to find other ladies to date besides Hinata otherwise if he enacts the CRA, he would be given women at random instead of people who care for him… a double edged sword so to speak." Hizashi said when he looks at the kids.
Naruto, Hinata, Sasuke and Ino were shocked when they head everything.
"S-Seriously?! I would date… other girls if I chose the CRA?" Naruto said.
"Well more or less, there are other things apart of it but it's more or less a legal way to date many women and not get your face caved in and stuff… and possibly not getting with strange women." Hizashi said when he looks at Naruto with an amused look.
Naruto jolts a bit.
"Y-Yeah… don't want that." He said but still kept picturing himself with other girls but… who would he actually date is the question.
Though all this talk about dating Hinata did cause Naruto to look at Hinata and she blushed profusely when Naruto looks at her a couple times.
Sasuke smirked.
"Already picturing Hinata as your first girl Naruto?"
Naruto jolts as he looks at Sasuke.
"W-What about you?, Y-You got a lot of fangirls and stuff." Naruto said as Sasuke gave him a empty look.
"Naruto… given how most of those fangirls annoy me to no end when most try and follow us home after school… do you really think a CRA with most of them would work with me?" Sasuke said when he counter questions Naruto.
Naruto was quiet.
"Well… no." He said.
"Exactly… if a lady trained, was serious about being a Ninja and most importantly… not being annoying at all… I wouldn't mind dating one of them…" Sasuke said while he cringes when he remembers how annoying some women are.
That made Ino perked up.
"Really?... So if I get stronger, would you date me in a second?" She said with a smirk.
Sasuke however gave her a half lidded look.
"Ino… no offense but I barely see you train and do a pointless thing like Dieting even with how strenuous Ninja training is... do you really think you'll get stronger if you don't eat more and stuff to give you the energy to help you train?, And we barely hang out because you normally acted like those fangirls… you even but heads with Sakura daily, how would I react to a question like that when you two fight over me daily when you two don't train much… not a good impression to me if I can be honest." Sasuke said when he crossed his arms.
Ino was a bit surprised by this before she looks at Naruto.
"Can you back me up here Naruto?" She said.
The blonde knucklehead didn't know what to say so he did a classic Kakashi move.
"Hm? You say something, Ino?" He said.
That caused Ino to look dejected though Emerald came to the rescue.
"Well, Sasuke just gave you things to do to be his dream girl, get off the diet, train more and hang out with him and not be annoying and stuff… either that or if That doesn't work, you could… I don't know… try and Date Naruto as well to make that CRA thing look legit, you hung out with Naruto, you know him and stuff, and may I remind you Ino… we're 12 to 13… we maybe ninja in training but we're still kids… shouldn't rush things… I mean let's face it… with a guy like Sasuke being adamant about not dating girls unless they hit his standards, well… do you even have dating experience?" Emerald said while he gave Ino a half lidded look.
Naruto did jolt when Emerald mentioned him even though Naruto did like talking and hanging with Ino.
Ino did blush in embarrassment since she never had a date before.
"No." Was all that she said.
"Hold on, this makes it seem like you know how to date women Emerald." Sasuke said while Emerald looks at Sasuke and shocked him with this.
"Well Lillum and I have been on a few dates every now and than after she asked me out so yeah… got experience…" Emerald said making Naruto nearly spit a drink he was drinking when he heard that while Sasuke looked surprised.
Ino was surprised by this as was Hinata while she pats Naruto's back a bit.
"S-Seriously?!... Y-You and Lillum?!... When did this start?" Naruto said.
"A bit after we turned 13, apparently Lillum thought I was… cute… and I was curious on what a date was like so I agreed, wasn't too bad though from the sound of things… looks like I maybe the dating expert of the group bit seems despite my normally stoic self…" Emerald said when he looks amused.
Sasuke, Ino, Hinata and Naruto were again surprised by this.
"Hehe, well, guess congratulations are in order. Looks like we're gonna have to step up our game Naruto when it comes to girls." Sasuke said when he looks at Naruto.
Naruto gulps a bit at this while Hizashi chuckles a bit.
"Well Emerald has a point, no need to rush since you are children, so just start out as friends and stuff, either way we should hold the conversation for now, the chefs are coming now." Hizashi said when he looked over to show many chefs were coming from the kitchen and many mouth watering meals were seen.
Naruto did sniff a bit and the aroma felt heavenly.
"That does smell good." He said when the food was a good distraction.
"Yeah… hopefully the Steak dinner will help us all relax." Hiashi said as many steaks of various quality, from high to very high, was seen as the food was placed on the massive table, there were even good side dishes like green beans, corn, potatoes, gravy next to said Potatoes, macaroni and cheese, mushrooms, the whole nine yards.
Ino smiled at the food.
"I know I need it." She said as the food was served around everyone.
"Good, now dig in, might as well think of this as a… date than for some." Hiashi said when he teased his daughter a bit.
Hinata blushes brightly after hearing that as did Naruto while Sasuke felt amused by this before the group thanked their meal and starts eating.
It took about an hour for everyone to enjoy their meals and make occasional small talk, by the time everyone finished eating, Naruto pats his stomach when he felt so full.
"Wow what a meal…" Naruto said with a content look on his face… though he did see Hinata smile as she used a napkin to clean Naruto's cheek a bit.
Naruto blushes a bit from the gesture as Ino giggles.
"You said it Naruto." She said.
"Yeah, anyway aside from relaxing a bit, we shouldn't stick around too long otherwise Serina, Mikoto, and Anko may worry about us being out too late." Emerald said to remind Naruto and Sasuke that they live with Anko, Mikoto, and Serina at the Namikaze Compound and Anko has been protective of the trio… especially since they seem like trouble magnets, Mikoto for Sasuke mainly, and Serina for Naruto.
Naruto jolts.
"Y-Yeah… we better get going." He said before getting up and looks at Hiashi.
"Thank you again for the food, Lord Hyuga and thanks again Hinata-chan." He said with a smile.
Hinata blushed brightly that this and Hiashi looks amused.
"Well if you want, feel free to visit anytime… just not too late otherwise I may think you're trying to get… something from my daughter before she is old enough." Hiashi said while he comically activated his Byakugan and that caused Naruto to jolt and he jumped in Emerald's arms like some kind of Scooby Doo moment and Emerald sweatdrops at this.
Hizashi chuckles.
"Ease up on the lad, brother. He's not like Master Jiraiya."
"Indeed dear, can't threaten someone our daughter adores too much especially with the Byakugan, seems like you may try and kill him." A new voice said as a beautiful woman entered the room, she was walking next to a little girl and that girl was Hanabi Hyuga, at this time she would be around, 7 or so, and she was the younger sister of Hinata Hyuga.
Hinata smiles when she saw her mom as Naruto blinks before blushing when he saw a resemblance to Hinata.
'W-Wow… Wonder if Hinata-chan will grow up pretty like her mom.' He thought before blinking in surprise when he wondered where that thought came from.
Though a moment later, Emerald looks at Naruto.
"As interesting as it would be to carry you back like some kind of princess… mind getting out of my arms Naruto?" Emerald said when he gave Naruto a half lidded look.
That made Naruto blink before realizing that he was still on Emerald before getting off.
"Oops." He said.
Hinata's mother giggled at this while she looks at Hinabi.
"Go to your father sweetie… and my apologies Hiashi, Hanabi had trouble tying her sash on her kimono so I was teaching her how to get dressed and undressed on her own… what do you think?" The mother of Hinata and Hanabi said when Hanabi blushed a bit when she walked to her father gracefully as she could while Hiashi could see that even with practice the tying was still iffy but more than enough to show she practiced a lot to get this far.
Hiashi did smile at his youngest daughter.
"Very adorable." He said before looking at his wife.
"And you look very beautiful, Kagome."
The now identified Kagome smiles before she looks at Naruto and Emerald.
"Nice to see you again Naruto, Emerald, sorry if my husband said anything to make you uncomfortable… despite being the head of the Hyuga clan, he does mean well… though I heard something about the CRA from a few gossips on the way here with Naruto and Hinata… mind explaining how the Elders can choose who my daughter romances?, Last I checked, arranged marriages and stuff like that were only used to settle political issues… so how would they have a say here?" Kagome said while she smiles at everyone… though many shuddered when they thought they could see a spectral oni mask near Kagome's head.
Ino gulped at the look as Sasuke tried to keep calm as Hiashi gulped.
"Well dear… The Elders… have made certain changes and… they were gonna try and have Hinata… be married to a noble for political gains. I thought setting her up with Naruto would be my way to protect her."
Many were surprised, even Hinata looked shocked while Emerald hums.
"I see, so that's why you and Lord Hizashi mentioned the CRA, would pretty much tie the elders hands more or less and since Naruto is from a well known clan, the elders can't do jack now if Naruto enforces it… still this is low Lord Hyuga… you're pretty much telling Naruto to pretty much and I quote… pull a Jiraiya and try and get other women with Hinata as his first woman by using the CRA act… otherwise Hinata will be married off to some stranger… I would insult you a bit by questioning if you're a father or not, but given things… pretty sure no matter what excuse you give… your wife here will well.. yeah… besides pretty sure you wouldn't use this plan unless you had no choice… those Elders really that influential to force this kind of plan of yours?" Emerald asked when he wondered what Hiashi's thought process was through all of this.
Hiashi was quiet.
"It was the only solution I can think of. I would do anything to save my daughter." He said with a serious look.
"I see… well Naruto, maybe a bit early… but want to try the CRA thing out?, Sure you'll need to find other ladies, I'm sure with some leeway… we can use this to our advantage if we go with a plan of my own to build on things." Emerald said before he chuckles darkly again while Emerald subconsciously used his Dark face and white eyes Jutsu which showed he would enjoy this.
Naruto gulps at the look but he was thinking things through before he tries asking Kurama.
"What do I do Kurama?"
"Well unless you want that girl to be some Noble's pet, I don't think you have a choice, besides Emerald is surprisingly smart for a human so might as well hear him out at least with this plan… besides what's the worst that could happen besides some arraigned booty when you hit 18 and can tap it… Hinata's mother is a beautiful lady so think of how nice Hinata would look years from now when she hits puberty… would be like a ton of bricks hehe." Kurama said through the link while she sounds used in many ways.
Naruto blushed after hearing that even though it was visible to everyone, but one thing is clear… He can't let Hinata suffer at someone else's hands.
"I'll do it." He said.
Emerald not knowing of the talk nods his head.
"Good… however we do have a few days before Hiashi would most likely suggest that CRA act… think Naruto could have the courtesy of taking Hinata on a date or two before you pretty much bombshell Lord third and many more about this?... Pretty sure you owe Naruto and Hinata that at least given that you did seem to set this up… not only that… I think your wife may not let you walk for a few days after what happened today so…" Emerald said to Hiashi though Emerald sweatdrops at how angered Kagome was with the Oni mask thing going on with her.
Hiashi gulped a bit as Hizashi shook his head before looking at his son.
"Let this be a big lesson for you in the future, Neji. Never make any woman angry."
"Noted." Neji said as Emerald looks at Naruto.
"Welp now that we have that out of the way, shouldn't you ask Hinata something Naruto?" Emerald said when he looks at the Nine tail Jinchuriki.
Naruto jolts a bit before looking at Hinata while blushing a bit.
"H-Hinata-chan?... Would you… like to… go on a… d-date with me?"
Hinata on her end broke records with a blush so bright, a certain man could see it from a sleigh during certain holidays… though that was than and this was now with Hinata passing out before everyone though Kagome caught her as Emerald looks at Naruto.
"Eh, I take that as a yes to know how she reacts to good things from you." Emerald said when he looks amused.
Naruto blushes as Ino giggles.
"Well, way to go Naruto." She said.
"Hey don't knock his charm yet, Sasuke and I noticed you looking at Naruto a few times… maybe you could be feeling something for the blonde haired Ninja?" Emerald teased when he grins evilly at Ino.
Ino jolts and was blushing brightly before Naruto came to the rescue.
"Hey Emerald, enough with the tease. Besides, we do have to get back home."
"Yeah… though considering this was technically a date… mind walking Ino home?, She doesn't live with us after all, we will meet you there Naruto so… good luck!" Emerald said before he and Sasuke jumped away at high speed before any could stop them.
"H-Hey?!" Naruto said as they couldn't believe they pulled a fast one on him while Ino blushed at the date remark.
Many looked amused and Kagome picked up Hinata and she smiles calmly at Naruto.
"Well it was nice to see you again Naruto, hopefully next time you come here we can talk more… now if you'll excuse me… I need to get Hinata in bed." Kagome said as she left but not before giving Hiashi a look in passing that she and Hiashi would be talking after.
Hiashi knew what was gonna happen before looking at Naruto.
"Thank you and your friends for coming, Naruto. Hope you and Ino have a safe journey back."
"Y-Yeah… good luck with your wife lord Hyuga… I think you'll need it." Naruto said when he shuddered from the ill intent from Kagome and he and Ino left Hiashi alone thanks to most heading inside while the two guards from earlier kept quiet.
"Kami… please give me strength." Hiashi said before getting up and go see his wife.
How that kind of event would play out is anyone's guess, but one thing was sure… it would be a few days before Hiashi would recover… in the meantime, Naruto as he walked next to Ino glanced at her a few times while wondering what she was thinking from all this.
'Okay… this is not a date but… the walk does feel nice. Maybe Emerald and Sasuke was right. Maybe the diet wasn't working out. But… can I really date Naruto? Don't get me wrong he's nice and he's gardening like me.' She thought while thinking more good things about Naruto.
She even remembered when they were younger in how Naruto and her played games sometimes with Emerald, Lillum, and sometimes Anko and Serina before Sasuke and Mikoto started to live there… honestly they were fun times… and she and Naruto did have a few things in common but… did she have things in common with Sasuke?... She didn't take training seriously like Emerald or Sasuke or Naruto… she went on diets which made her cranky sometimes… she even caused her and Sakura to fight over the same boy and ruined their friendship… makes her wonder if doing all this was worth it.
'Oh Kami… did I really screw things up with Sakura. Maybe I should try to fix things with her. I also need to rethink my feelings here.' Ino thought as she kept walking with Naruto.
Meanwhile on a nearby roof…
"So we're in agreement on making sure the walk to Ino's goes well… Right you two?" Emerald said to Sasuke and a much bigger Lillum who stood almost as tall as Sasuke and Emerald while her body in her human state was already developing well to give her a slight curvy look despite her age… again Serina far outclassed her so this was small growth spurts so to speak.
The duo ran into Lillum while she was coming to check on them and Lillum looks amused when she heard everything.
"Right." Sasuke said with an amused look.
"Hehe, right Emy." Lillum said as she was calling Emerald with a nickname of sorts.
"Good, if things work out well, one last fangirl for Sasuke and a budding relationship with Naruto and Ino… Lillum you run on ahead and keep a lookout near Ino's place, could be drunks we need to know about, Sasuke, given how Naruto would pass by Ichiraku Ramen on the way for the smell alone, head there and make sure Teuchi so he temporarily close the ramen store just in case… pretty sure he would want to help his best customer in romance and stuff… I'll stay near the two and make sure no trouble happens to interrupt the mood here." Emerald said to explain the game plan as he looks at the duo.
"Right." Sasuke and Lillum said before they disappear and head to their target locations.
"Alright…" Emerald said as he looks at Naruto.
"Naruto… good luck… we can prevent interruptions but it's all you for the charm hehe." Emerald said as he moved a few rooftops ahead of where Naruto and Ino were walking.
When he did, he made sure to keep an eye on the duo and used chakra to allow him to listen in on the conversation to see if Naruto was doing well… hey he had nothing better to do given he was now watching the duo… might as well eavesdrop on the conversation.
"...and I tell him, that's not a pillow, that's my summoned spider… didn't hear Sasuke scream that much after he accidentally used Aragog as a pillow." Naruto said when he still remembered that day.
Ino starts laughing as she thought that was funny.
"O-Oh Kami… Haha, wish I was there to see it."
"Hehe, yeah well who knows, maybe if you look in my head, could show you the memory hehe, anyway you OK Ino?, You've been pretty quiet." Naruto said as he looks concerned for the Yamanaka flower girl.
Ino calmed down a bit before looking at Naruto.
"I am Naruto. I was just… thinking about what Emerald and Sasuke said earlier."
"What?, You mean the diet thing and stuff?, Eh let them talk, you're pretty tough and if you use that mind Transfer Jutsu on them, they would be singing a different time… literally, they would if you make them, as for the diet thing, if your happy with it, doubt you would want to stop but why do it?... You… look pretty nice already so… why try and make yourself look skinnier?... Starving yourself isn't well… fun..." Naruto said when he chuckles at thinking of Emerald singing Opera or something would be oddly funny to him… though the talk of a diet seemed really depressing for Naruto… and Ino knew why when she heard of Naruto's mistreatment in the past and over inflated prices and stuff… came with the demon thing years ago.
"I'm sorry Naruto. I didn't know that's what you were going through." Ino said.
"Eh it's not your fault… honestly even if you gained a few pounds you would still look nice to me… just don't want you to get sick or pass out in ninja training and stuff… you can't fight on an empty stomach after all." Naruto said as he placed his hands behind his head as he and Ino keep walking.
Ino lightly blushes from the compliant before sweatdropping as she can picture herself in that situation.
"Right… better make sure that it doesn't happen."
"Hehe, yup, though if you're in trouble even on a full stomach, try and call my name or something, I'll make sure to come to your aid no matter what." Naruto said to lighten the mood when Naruto looks at Ino with a smile.
This made Ino lightly giggle a bit.
"Thanks Naruto. I'll keep that in mind."
"Great, let's get going, seems Ichiraku Ramen is closed right now, shame, would have gotten some Ramen to go and maybe some extra for Serina, Anko, and Mrs. Mikoto." Naruto said as he and Ino passed by the place and after that happens, Teuchi exits the building with a grin as he pass Sasuke who lands next to him a large container or Ramen, and Sasuke jumped away to take it back home when his job was over for now.
Meanwhile with Lillum…
She had to sign when she sees how many drunks were in this neighborhood, she had to turn people in the right directions to where they needed to go and even had to knock a couple people out when they wanted to start a brawl of all things near the Yamanaka flower shop… thankfully Sasuke appears after a bit of waiting and helped Lillum out with Emerald appearing right as the road was clear and gestures for the trio to head to the roof as Naruto and Ino got in front of her place.
"Well, here we are." Naruto said.
"Yeah… thanks for walking me back Naruto, sorry for the trouble and stuff after everything that happened at the Hyuga Compound." Ino said when she scratched her cheek a bit.
Naruto did blush a bit.
"N-No worries. Sorry that I didn't back you up earlier."
"No worries, still had a nice time… may not quite count as a… date… but still it was fun… you serious about that CRA thing though?" Ino asked when she remembers how important it was.
Naruto was quiet.
"Well… I'm not sure to be honest. However… It wouldn't be right seeing Hinata-chan being so miserable as some nobleman's wife. Of course I am the last of my clan like Sasuke. Not sure… maybe I can give it a shot… but do it slowly."
"Right… again thanks for the walk Naruto, I'll see you tomorrow or something." Ino said when she was about to enter her home… however Naruto surprised her when he asked this.
"H-Hey Ino… mind if I ask something first?" Naruto asked when he had a slight blush on his face.
"Hm?" Ino said as she looks at the blonde knucklehead.
"H-Hey… I know I'm kinda in a weird situation and this maybe a bit fast… but… if possible… when I'm not seeing Hinata… think… I could take you out later?... Your call and stuff…" Naruto said with a small blush on his face that grew brighter as he spoke more.
Ino was a bit surprised but had to be sure.
"Are you… asking me on a… date, Naruto?"
Naruto blushed a bit when he nods his head when he couldn't trust his voice for a moment.
Ino was surprised again after hearing that before blushing brightly.
Though she did think this through and she also remembered what Emerald said about giving Naruto a chance before looking at the blonde knucklehead.
"I chose Sasuke because I thought he was cool but... I didn't fully know him. Then when you and I started hanging out, I got to know you a bit and I've been enjoying those moments so… you got yourself a date." She said with a smile.
Naruto was pretty happy about that.
"Haha!, My first official date… or would it be second?... Well either way nice!... And if things don't work out… well I could always tell you every single one of Sasuke's secrets like did you know that under his bed he has certain magazines and in them are-!" Naruto said as a pebble was thrown at his head from behind.
"Ow!" Naruto said when he looks back and saw nothing…
When he looks back he spoke again.
"Ok… under his mattress is-!" Naruto tried to say before more pebbles hit his head and it caused him to scream as he looks around.
"Ok Sasuke I know your there!, I'll shut it so quit it with the pebbles…" Naruto said while he growls a bit as Emerald and Lillum on the roof with Sasuke look at the irate ninja.
"So much for stealth." Emerald muttered when he gave Sasuke a half lidded look.
"No kidding. And you definitely need a better hiding spot for those… hehe special magazines. It's surprising to know you have that kind of fetish." Lillum said with a teasing look.
This caused Naruto and Ino to jolt when they heard this.
"You looked!?, Forget you ever saw those!" Sasuke said as a Kya sound was heard while Emerald jumped down to Ino and Naruto.
"Sorry about that, was trying to help set the mood… Naruto I know you're a prankster… but this should be a lesson on keeping your mouth shut with stuff like this… Sasuke went to Ichiraku to ask the owner a favor and not only did he close the shop for a time so you wouldn't get interrupted… but he also gave us the secret menu Ramen of the month in large quality to celebrate… looks like your share is going to Sasuke to make up for the info you nearly blabbed… oh and congratulations on getting two girlfriends… not many can say that with a straight face." Emerald said with an amused tone at the end.
Naruto was shocked when he heard that.
"Aw man! How was I supposed to know?!" He said before sighing.
"Guess it's fair. Let's hope his mom doesn't find those."
"Hmm?, Oh actually thanks to an… incident I am not allowed to detail… let's just say Mikoto knows about them but never asks the details… long story… but let's just say Sasuke walked in on something that Serina was doing with Anko and Mikoto herself… and let's just say we had to have Inoichi get rid of that memory… nuff said but the trama ran deep… very deep." Emerald said when he closed his eyes in mourning of Sasuke's Innocence.
Naruto and Ino cringes a bit after hearing that.
"Oooh… Hate to be in his sandals." Naruto said.
"Yeah… just to let you know Anko told me when we hit 18, seems we're going to be given details on how to seduce females and stuff… Anko wasn't gentle in that talk… said unless we had girls to spend time with on our birthdays, Anko would get help so we would lose our V-Cards… said it would be her birthday gift to the three of us since she never really had birthday gifts aside from occasional Jutsu." Emerald said as he did a few hand signs and his hand turned into a snake that wiggles around comically.
Naruto and Ino were surprised when they saw that.
"You can do that?!" They said.
"Yeah, guess Anko forgot to teach you this, heard it would help with web casting since the snake would aim the web for you and stuff… me… eh just a thing I thought was interesting." Emerald said as his hand returns to normal after the snake took a bow.
Naruto had an excited look on his face.
"Oh, I really need to learn that." He said.
"Hehe, yeah, anyway Anko also told me that some women talked with the third and a new type of class was added for females to go to, seductive classes, heard it helps Kunoichi with seducing targets on certain missions, not sure what else though… anyway see you Ino, I'll take this guy with me before he tried to spill the beans on others." Emerald said as he did his snake hand Jutsu and the snake reached over and gripped Naruto on the collar of his outfit and Naruto starts to get dragged away when Emerald walked away which made things look comical.
"H-Hey?!" Naruto protested before he looks at Ino.
"S-See you later… Ino-chan!"
Ino blushed at the honorific she got and waved goodbye before she entered her home.
Meanwhile with Emerald and Naruto…
"Hehe, nice using the dragging to say her name like that… such a charmer, Anko would be so proud." Emerald teased as he dragged Naruto more.
Naruto blushes a bit.
"Thanks but, can you stop dragging me?"
"Sure but just a reminder… no smooching on the first real date Naruto… don't want to rush things now that you have two girlfriends… and all in one day too… ah this CRA thing is going to be very interesting." Emerald said when he set Naruto on his feet and Emerald's hand returns to normal.
Naruto blushes again.
"I-I'm not trying to rush things. Want to take things slow."
"Good, would hate to have mini Naruto's or Naruko's running around the Compound before your 18 hehe." Emerald said when he looks amused by the fact Naruto would have to impregnate some ladies… hopefully not soon though.
Naruto blushes brightly after hearing that.
"I would never do that!"
"Oh really?, But that would make the CRA pointless if that's the case." Emerald said with a teasing grin when Naruto walked into that one.
Naruto stuttered a bit as he couldn't counter Emerald's tease.
"Let's just go home." He said.
Emerald laughs a bit and this really showed how different Emerald was from years ago, and as Nauto noticed he saw Emerald had actual emotions but it was a question of if they were real or not… after all Naruto always wore a mental mask so he knew real to fake emotions and sometimes… when Emerald vanished, he always returns seemingly ok… but to Naruto most times Emerald was forcing himself to act really well… and ever case was Danzo and his usual… checkups on Emerald and Naruto occasionally.
Though Naruto hated being embarrassed, he did enjoy seeing Emerald open up bit by bit though he did became cautious whenever Danzo appeared.
The scene however fades to black on a rather interesting time… next up would be graduation and the team comps for after… followed by the land of waves mission...
