A/n: well, this is just a very short one shot that I came up with on the spur of the moment, I hope you still enjoy it though.

I sat and looked upon you shaking my head I a little, a sighed my breath warm on my knees that were pulled up to my chest. I've taken this position many times in front you before. It seems no different this time

Toady it's a year, did you know that? Or had you forgotten that it had been that long?

I position the roses in front of you, they're red, just like you always wanted, too bad I didn't gibe then to you before, it's been so long and I only just realized what you like and what you don't like. I must be a great lover.

Well, are we lovers still? Were we lovers before? You said you loved me countless times but I never did say it back, does that makes us lovers? Or does that just make you as dumb as I thought you were when I first met you?

Some grit from the floor rises up on the wind and some of it gets in my eyes, oh good I can blame the tears on that instead then. I take a shuddering breath and try to compose myself a little.

I feel my driver staring at me even though he's supposed to be reading some magazine or another; maybe he's taken aback by the tears on me cheeks, the ones caused by the grit in my eyes of course.

The wind has shaken up the red roses and some of the petals blew across the floor looking like little spots of blood, it was in some ways disturbing, but in others relaxing, is this how you felt?

I glance at my watch, 1:30. I have a meeting in half an hour

"I'm still continuing with my work, with my life. I think I'll have to make this the last time, Katsuya." I said to you.

I smile contentedly as a warm breeze blew across the field, it felt like an embrace, like you were saying it was okay, that I was free. I smiled a little sadly at that.

I stood and started walking toward my limo, glancing back to make sure the roses still jay safely atop your grave.
