Konoha/timeframe/ Final's of ninja academy/ Naruto, Sasuke, Emerald, various other students before Iruka and other examiners.
"Alright, when I call your name please step forward, instead of a simple room by room test, were saving time and having everyone of you do the three basic Jutsu's that many should know by now, if you managed to do this perfectly, if you fail you repeat the year until you pass or until you decide a different carrier is needed… Sasuke Uchiha, we will start with you." Iruka said as he looks at the Uchiha.
Sasuke nods his head before stepping forward.
"Good luck Sasuke!" Said his loyal fan girls.
Sasuke cringed a bit from this mentally though as he made some hand signs when he heard about the transformation Jutsu, he turned into a double of Emerald for a moment when he felt this was a safe transformation to go into, after Iruka looks at the original and than Sasuke in the Emerald guise, he nods.
"Perfect, next is the clone Jutsu, we already know based on written tests and what not with physical skills and Shuriken aiming, if you can make a proper clone for chakra control, you pass." Iruka said when he smiles at Sasuke.
Sasuke did smirk before doing the hand sign and does the clone jutsu before another Sasuke appeared and it was identical to the original.
Iruka looks at the clone for a moment and after writing some things down, he smiles as he passed Sasuke his Konoha headband.
"Congradulations Sasuke, you are now a Genin of Konoha." Iruka said with a smile on his face.
"Yeah! Way to go Sasuke!" Naruto cheered for his friend.
As Sasuke returned with an amused look, Naruto had comically got on the desk when he cheered and a student accidentally bumped into him… it was only thanks to Emerald griping Naruto's ankle when he tried to stop him that Naruto didn't lock lips with Sasuke when both men looked surprised at how close their faces were and many fangirls had scream like looks about them as they held their cheeks at how close Sasuke's lips were with Naruto's… Hinata and Ino also felt relief when they didn't see this happen as Emerald pulled Naruto back and off the table.
"Calm down Naruto!... honestly if it wasn't for me you and Sasuke would have locked lips." Emerald said when he gave the hyperactive ninja a half lidded look as Naruto fell on the ground on his ass while he looks greatly relieved.
Naruto paled though.
"T-Thanks Emerald. I would rather kiss Hinata-chan and Ino-chan than Sasuke. No offense man."
Sasuke, breathing a sigh of relief, pulled his shirt collar for a moment.
"None taken, could have been worse besides an accidental lip lock moment… we could have been… in a very suggestive position." Sasuke said with a horrified look as Naruto and the fangirls pale at the thought while Iruka's eyebrow twitched.
"Ok… please act your age everyone and lets all get this exam back underway… hopefully Naruto won't do that again and nearly accidently kiss someone else." Iruka said as Naruto pale as he shakes his head while he sat in his chair.
"N-No I won't!" Naruto said with a horrified tone at the what if that could have been if not for Emerald preventing it.
Next to Iruka was Mizugi and he thought it was funny but deep down, he hated Naruto and wouldn't accept him even after hearing what Hiruzen said about who Naruto's parents were.
Thankfully this did help with Naruto getting a better treatment with many, some were still stubborn about Naruto being a demon and stuff… hey it would be hard to change the minds of many even after years of being told this stuff.
Thankfully for Mizuki, even if he did want to rig most tests, this test was the one where it mattered most… while Naruto did make a good transformation when he turned into Hinata for a moment which made her blush… given how strict Iruka was in the past… Naruto tried to not use the shadow clone Jutsu but the regular clone Jutsu… and well… a clone was made alright… this one though was on its deathbed of all things as it reached for the ceiling.
"R-Remember me… as I once… was…" The Clone said before it poofed away while Iruka's eyebrow was twitching and with his big head Jutsu yelled this at a shocked Naruto when he thought Naruto was messing around again.
"Naruto… YOU FAIL!" Iruka yelled out as Naruto stumbled back with a shocked look on his face as Emerald facepalms at this… this would be a pretty… interesting thing to talk about later when Naruto was the only one to fail the exam here when everyone that cared for Naruto was around him as he was slumped over on a swing seat that hung near the entrance.
"Hey relax Naruto, there is always next year." Emerald said when he pats Naruto's back a few times while Naruto was zoned out.
"Y-Yeah N-Naruto-kun… its not the end of the world." Hinata said which showed the sama thing was bedroom only type of calling as Lillum rubs her head.
"Yeah man, cheer up, I mean its not like you can't use this for next year." Lillum said as Mizuki made his appearance.
"Actually I may be able to help your friend here." Mizuki said, making everyone look at the instructor.
"Mizuki sensei? What do you mean?" Naruto said with a confused look.
"Well its more like a secret thing that only I can speak with you about, you could say its a rare thing to offer, not because of you being the fourth's son, but from the fact you have some good potential." Mizuki said as Naruto looks hopeful.
"Mizuki-sensei." Naruto said with a happy look on his face.
"Well… potential besides normal clones however." Mizuki said as Naruto facefaults off the swing with a geh as people around him laugh a bit at this and Mizuki walked away from the others.
"I'll meet with you in 20 minutes in private Naruto, say the roof of the school?" Mizuki said as Emerald on his end with Sasuke and Lillum being the only ones to notice Emerald rubbing his chin in thought… as Naruto was on the ground unaware while Hinata and Ino were busy trying to help him up as Emerald, Sasuke, and Lillum moved away for a moment.
"OK… Sasuke, Lillum… either of you think something if off with this?... Mizuki of all people giving Naruto a bonus graduation exam?... I've noticed Mizuki giving Naruto some… less than helpful looks so I highly doubt Mizuki's bonus is something good." Emerald said with a low tone so no one else would hear them.
Sasuke noticed as well.
"I agree, something seems fishy here. We should tell Iruka-sensei and the Hokage just in case." He said in a lower tone as well.
"Hold on, we don't have proof, even if we say something, best we can get is just maybe a guard or two to watch Naruto and you heard Mizuki… 20 minutes, do you think we can talk with the old man in 20 minutes given his hectic meeting schedule?" Lillum said as Emerald frowns.
"Looks like its just the three of us for now since Lillum has a point… Sasuke, just in case get Naruto's weapon, Lillum, make sure Shelob or another of your siblings are ready to summon just in case… I'll tail Naruto and see what Mizuki's plan is for Naruto, hopefully we can turn the table on him just in case." Emerald said with narrowed eyes as he moved to tie his head band on his forehead.
Lillum and Sasuke nod their heads while having determined looks on their faces.
Things in turn than went along in canon… Naruto stealing the forbidden scroll of sealing, the third Hokage sending out many ninjas after Naruto, however there were two key differences…
One was that Lillum, on Emerald's orders, told her that this would be a good time to speak with the third and while he was shocked to learn about what Mizuki was doing, he still had to send the Ninja out to look for Naruto now for his own safety.
The second and more detailed part was this…
As Naruto looks through the scroll of sealing and he managed to learn, not the Shadow clone technique thanks to Anko, but two different Jutsus, he heard three pairs of feet land nearby and well when he looks up, he saw a royally ticked off Iruka, a stern looking Emerald, and a exasperated Sasuke since the trio had to come far out of Konoha to get to Naruto.
"Oh N-A-R-U-T-O… mind explaining why you are looking inside the scroll of sealing?" Iruka said with a grin on his face while he had a tick mark on his head as he cracks his knuckles to give Naruto one hell of a hit on the head in a moment.
Naruto did chuckle.
"Hey Iruka-Sensei, Sasuke and Emerald. About time you guys show up. I was reading up two jutsus that interest me." He said before getting up.
"Anyway, I passed the test, Iruka-sensei. Now I can get my headband."
Iruka on his end would have said something since he was filled on about Mizuki and while he didn't believe it at first… well he sensed something and when he looked back, he saw many Kunai and pushed Naruto out of the way and Emerald used a quick swipe of his right arm to summon a large greatsword to block the Kunai from hitting Iruka as Mizuki with a number of massive Shuriken on his back appeared…. But to Emerald and Sasuke's shock, he wasn't alone when three other seemingly Konoha Ninja were with him.
"W-What the!?, what is going on!?" Naruto said as he picked himself up as he quickly equips the scroll onto his back.
"Naruto… long story short, Mizuki here used you and is trying to steal the scroll of sealing… not sure who these three are but given the hostile intent… seems like Mizuki's allies." Emerald said when he looks at the three unknown Ninja next to Mizuki.
"Hehe, right you are brat." Mizuki said with a grin.
"Why Mizuki-sensei?!" Naruto said as he couldn't believe it.
"Why?... Isn't it obvious… demon boy?" Mizuki said as Sasuke glares at the man.
"Even after what lord third said, you still won't accept Naruto."
"Accept him?, please… even if the lord third is right, it doesn't change the fact that say for instance the Nine tails is sealed inside of him, the nine tails killed many… these three happen to have no families left thanks to the nine tails and don't care about their own lives… just as long as they can get a shot at demon boy here they would help me get the scroll here, I mean lets face it, who would really accept the freak with the demon inside of him?" Mizuki said as Iruka looks furious.
"Why you… even if people see Naruto as a demon… even if he does have the Nine tails inside of him… it doesn't make him a demon in turn… Naruto told me he will become Hokage… I can understand a lot about him because of what happened in the past… thanks to the Nine tails I lost my parents… I have a right to hate the Nine tails same as your three allies…" Iruka said as he glared at Mizuki.
"But Naruto has nothing to do with this!, All I see is an exceptional student… he knows what suffering is like… honestly he could have ended a lot worse if it wasn't for people like Emerald, Sasuke, and many others who accept him… I may have failed him at his exam but only because I know he can get better given time… unlike you assholes… I gave Naruto a chance… he is my student… so I won't let you harm him!" Iruka said as he got in front of Naruto protectively while Emerald did the same nearby while Sasuke drew his sword to do the same… honestly Naruto felt really teared up at the speech given since Iruka didn't fail him to spite him… he did it to help him grow… still stung but now not as bad as before when Naruto first started to think the worst.
Mizuki scoffed.
"Pity… may as well kill these fools before getting the scroll." He said.
The three Ninja with Mizuki drew Kunai or summoned swords, but thanks to Naruto getting his bearings, he grits his teeth as he looks at the four before him.
"Like hell I'll let that happen… thanks to how stern Iruka-sensei is… I used the clone Jutsu… but not this one." Naruto said as he made a cross finger gesture with his hands as he said this.
"Mass shadow clone Jutsu!" Naruto said before he shocked many, even Sasuke and Emerald when Naruto summoned a literal army of shadow clones while Mizuki and the three goons looked stunned as Iruka looks shocked when these were not clones… but actual physical replicas of Naruto…. How did he learn such an advance clone technique?... from the scroll of sealing?, he did say two Jutsu's after all.
Though Iruka was wrong on that account… didn't change the fact that right now Mizuki and his goons knew at this time… that they… had fucked up…
A moment later a Naruto army beatdown happened as many clones swarmed the four Ninja before they could get on guard and well… Naruto himself was rubbing the back of his head as he looks at the swollen faces of the knocked out Mizuki and the goons.
"H-Hehe… may have gotten a bit too into this…" Naruto said as he looks at Emerald, Sasuke, and Iruka.
"A bit?" Sasuke said as he couldn't believe what he witnessed.
"Yeah… though better make sure Hinata or Ino don't find out you can make this many anytime soon otherwise you may not leave the bedroom for a while… than again with this many should make having a large harem of ladies an easy thing when you have an army of shadow clones at your beck and call and not passing out on us here… you holding out on us Naruto?, never seen you make that many shadow clones before ever after you learned how to do that from Anko." Emerald said with an amused tone while Iruka was surprised Anko taught him that.
"Eh… actually, I learned the Mass Shadow Clone technique from scroll while waiting." Naruto said.
"Seriously?" Emerald said as Naruto rubs his head again.
"Hehe, yeah, seems its just an amped version of the Shadow clone technique, pretty handy, same hand signs, just need more chakra and I got loads to spare, got another Jutsu as well but I'll save that one for later." Naruto said as Iruka smiles at the banter when Sasuke approached to say his own things while Iruka made himself known.
"Hey Naruto…" Iruka said in a more calm manner when he approached the trio as Emerald and Sasuke quiet down a bit.
Naruto though sighs as he knew what was gonna happen.
"I know Iruka-sensei. I still failed and… I gotta face the music with Jiji on the scroll theft."
"Actually Naruto, two things, first off thanks to Lillum with Emerald's instructions, you're not in as much trouble as you may think… sure you may get a light scolding but you won't be really punished… and second… well… you'll need to close your eyes for this one." Iruka said with a smile on his face.
Naruto, though was relieved, was curious before he closed his eyes and waits for signal to open them.
He then felt his hood being pulled back off his head and well… something getting wrapped on his forehead and when he felt that, Iruka spoke up.
"Alright Naruto… open your eyes." Iruka said when he sounded pleased.
Naruto opened his eyes before he touched his forehead a bit and was shocked at what he felt.
Turns out it was Iruka's headband on his own forehead and Iruka smiles at the stunned look on Naruto's face.
"Congradulations Naruto… you're now going to be a Genin." Iruka said while Emerald and Sasuke smile at the realization on Naruto's face followed by probably the second happiest look the two ever saw… first Naruto talking about how he became a man with Ino and Hinata's help… and to a lesser extent Kurama but she can be detailed later.
"Yatta!... I did it! Thanks Iruka-sensei. I'll make you proud!" Naruto said with a big smile.
"Hehe, yup… and after we return the scroll… might as well treat you to some Ramen to congratulate the graduation… as unorthodox as it was.' Iruka said with a smile on his face though he didn't expect getting a flying tackle like hug from Naruto… Graduation and Ramen!?... it was a dream come true!
"Oh thank you Iruke-sensei! Let's invite Lillum, Hinata-chan and Ino-chan to celebrate." Naruto said.
"H-Hold on… I don't have that much…" Iruka said or tried to but stopped as he saw how happy Naruto was and sighs as Emerald and Sasuke look amused and Emerald whispered in Iruka's ear.
"Don't worry, we will cover the costs of a couple extra people, just focus on Naruto." Emerald whispered which relieved Iruka.
The stuff that happened after words was just some canon stuff happening mixed with non-canon stuff, The third Hokage getting people to relax, Naruto getting his ramen after a scolding… pretty much a lot of things happening.
However it was the team assignments that would surprise many as the only ones left in the room was Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura Haruno, Emerald, and Lillum.
"OK… given the number of people here, unfortunately there can be only three man teams with one Jonin in charge… Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, you are apart of team 7 with the Jonin Kakashi Hatake as your instructor from here on out... however the third has helped pick out a third student that can fill out the final part of Emerald's team with Emerald and Lillum… however I will say this that she is from another class and was brought in outside of the graduation exam so you may be wondering why you never saw her before." Iruka said while Emerald and Lillum mainly were confused while Naruto and Sasuke fist bumped at being in a team… bummer for Emerald not being on their team while Sakura mentally cheered from being on the same team as Sasuke, but Iruka shocked many when he said this.
"OK… lets see…" Iruka said as Iruka noticed a figure at the door.
"Oh that must be her with the third…." Iruka said when he saw the thirds Silluette next to the figure.
"Anyway Emerald, Lillum, if she is with the third, I want to welcome the Kunoichi, Kurama to your team… strange name though." Iruka said as he opened the door as Emerald, Lillum, Sasuke, and Naruto blink in shock as a younger looking, yet still recognizable Kurama entered the room without her fox ears and tail on her head and as Sarutobi entered, he quickly gave a quiet gesture as Iruka was looking away to close the door when Sarutobi could see the questions coming a mile away from the four… he would explain things after in private but one thing was clear, seems Kurama, though free to use her name, was hiding the fact she was the nine tails right now from most here.
This caused the four in question to relax a bit though Sakura, not as trained as one may hope, was still a smart woman and looks confused while Kurama smirks as she comically puffed out some smoke from her nose for a moment as Sarutobi looks at Kurama.
"Alright Kurama, please sit by Emerald and Lillum, anyway Kurama is going to be apart of Emerald's team, while we don't have a number assigned yet for the team, we have decided to just call it Team Emerald for now until the Jonin assigned to you either changes it later or keeps the name for simplicity's sake, any complaints?" Sarutobi said as Kurama looks a bit smug with a grin on her face.
"Nah I'm good old man." Kurama said as she relaxed in her chair as she propped her feet on the desk while Sakura looked appalled when no one said anything to stop this rude behavior.
"Okay, has no one taught you any manners? You shouldn't put your feet up and always treat the Hokage with respect." Sakura said.
Kurama looks amused as she smirks at Sakura.
"Want to say that to my face pinky?, I would be more than happy to if you want to make me." Kurama said as Sarutobi sighs.
"Anyway Iruka, I need you to deliver this to a certain Jonin who will be Team Emerald's leader and what not… I'll explain things about Kurama here while you're gone." Sarutobi said as he passed Iruka a letter to be delivered.
"Yes, lord Hokage." Iruka said before he left the room.
Once this happened, Sarutobi looks at Naruto.
"Naruto, depending on what may happen, you have final say in this… if I can have Sakura keep this a secret for now, I can let her in on things because… this may turn ugly if Sakura isn't told who Kurama is." Sarutobi said as Naruto looks to see a raging Sakura and a teasing Kurama when she stuck her tongue out at the Pink haired Kunoichi.
Naruto was thoughtful for a bit.
"Okay. Tell her." He said.
"Very well… Sakura ease up, first off I want you to know that Kurama is unique and while telling Naruto's heritage is a key thing, it wasn't without a struggle… unless you agree to keeping what you hear to yourself, not only will I have Inoichi yamanaka wipe your memory of this talk… I'll switch you from Team 7 with a different Ninja or Kunoichi who can keep their trap shut… this is that deep of a risk we are taking by telling you… even your sensei, Kakashi I mean, knows thanks to him being around Naruto and Sasuke a lot… believe me… I won't hesitate to do that." Sarutobi said as he had a serious look aimed at Sakura.
Sakura jolts when she heard that and pales greatly at the image of not being on the same team with her beloved Sasuke.
She took a couple of deep breaths.
"Okay… I'm calm."
"Good… and just a recap, if you try and run after hearing this, same thing applies, memory wipe and team switch… now than… Kurama is in fact the Nine tailed fox… sort of… this is her human form aged down to match yours and thanks to various things that can be explained in detail later… but long story short, by sending a tails worth of energy into one of Naruto's shadow clones, she can pretty much come out of her seal at at anytime she wants… in a crippled state while Naruto has access to most of her chakra, somewhat given how too much can harm him… point is Kurama has enough Chakra right now with one tail alone to end many in this room if she wanted before you would even blink… and yes I'm serious Sakura, ask Emerald, Lillum, Naruto, and even Sasuke if you doubt me about this… again details can be explained later but Kurama is the main reason why Naruto was called a demon because she was sealed inside of him." Sarutobi said as Kurama showed Sakura a fanged grin to mess with her a bit.
Sakura was shocked as she heard that before looking at said individuals and they, including Sasuke, each nod their heads to confirm.
"Its true, the Nine tails was sealed in Naruto at birth so he had no control of how things went down… thanks to the third here not doing what he promised at the time, Naruto was pretty much enemy number one to many and it was only thanks to my mother that Naruto has his current home and more." Lillum said when she looks at Sakura.
"Never showed this to you since I didn't trust you since you were nothing more than a fangirl to me, but I'm actually part of the Spider clan that my mother leads, I'm actually a spider in a female guise that is human enough to mate with other humans and from what my mom tells me, even have kids as well hehe, point is there is A LOT you don't know about and right now your in the minority since you never experienced pain or have secrets that could change your life more or less." Lillum said as she showed a few spider legs from her back like her mother would do in her human form to show her inhuman nature.
Sakura gasps as she saw this and felt like backing away but Naruto had his hand on her shoulder.
"Trust me Sakura, it maybe surprising but Lillum isn't showing any harm so you can trust her.
"Yeah, I mean she and I are dating so that shows how caring she is… she has a good heart below the body she has." Emerald said with a stoic tone to his voice.
Lillum did blush a bit as Sakura was still cautious.
"Well… Guess I can give her a chance." She said.
"Good, anyway Kurama more or less hijacked a shadow clone and isn't at full power, at best, one, maybe two Tails worth of energy if Naruto sent her more, heard she surprised him with her appearance so he could have sent more after that… for now I'll be leaving to settle some matters and what not, Team 7, Team Emerald, your senses will be here sometime soon so sit tight." Sarutobi said before he left the room which left the graduates alone.
Naruto grins excitedly.
"This is great. Can't wait till we start going out on missions."
"Don't get too excited Naruto, for guys starting out like us, we will most likely start pulling weeds and what not for the village to break us in… or worse… go after the rumored cat that plagued many when they had to hunt it down and capture it." Emerald said while he used his dar face and white eyes Jutsu to spook Naruto a bit.
Naruto jolt.
"Stop doing that Emerald." He said.
Sakura would've chuckled but something came to mind when she realized something.
"Hey wait a minute… Naruto, how did you get a headband? Last I checked, you failed your exam." She said with a raised eyebrLillu"
"Eh let's just say I did something surprising and got Iruka-sensei to change his mind hehe." Naruto said while he was cryptic.
Sakura raising an eyebrow but chose to shrug off since she was just glad to be on the same team with Sasuke.
Emerald than looks at Kurama and speaks with her.
"So… on the team huh?" Emerald said as Kurama looks amused.
"Hehe, yup, and if you want my help in low ranked shitty missions, you and sexy here need to make it worth my while if you know what I mean." Kurama said as a bulge formed under her kimono.
Sakura blinks when she noticed.
"What the?!… Is that… I thought you were a woman." She said.
Naruto though rolled his eyes.
"She is Sakura. Just has both."
Sakura looked shocked as Kurama smirks at Sakura.
"Want to get a closer look pinky?, don't worry I won't bite, Kakashi will be who knows how late anyway so why not take the chance?" Kurama teased when she looks at the Pink haired Kunoichi.
Sakura immediately backs away but she comically hugs Sasuke like she needed protection.
"N-No thanks. I'm good."
Sasuke looked uncomfortable and used a substitution Jutsu to swap himself with a chair and picked himself up from the ground as Kurama rolls her eyes.
"Suit yourself… hey Lillum, Emerald, want to have some fun?" Kurama said when she looks at Lillum and Emerald.
Lillum chuckles.
"I'm up for anything." She said with a smirk.
"Sure, I could use a good time, especially if it will take Iruka sensei to get this Jonin instructor for us." Emerald said much to Sakura's shock.
"What?! Are you guys serious?! You can't do that here!" Sakura said as Sasuke rolled his eyes.
"Well you can't stop them Sakura. Besides, not sure if you have experience but we're all adults here." He said.
"Yeah and you are forgetting one important factor here…" Emerald said as he got up with Lillum and Kurama doing the same as they start walking to the door for some reason while Sasuke and Naruto look amused at what Emerald would say as Sakura looks confused.
"What? What am I forgetting?" Sakura said.
"Simple, at best 30 minutes if Iruka sensei delivers that letter on foot without rushing given that giving a letter to a Jonin won't be a rush… time to kill so the three of us might as well do something to pass the time nearby just… not in prying eyes… and second… knowing Kakashi-sensei as well as most of us know… you three will be here for three hours at least given how normally late Kakashi-sensei is to meetings… so when we set something up with him, we mess with him either by not being at the meeting points he requests until an hour or so later to mess with him as Anko suggests… or two… which is the more efficient method, mixing up times a bit every now and then so that Kakashi thinks he is late but is in fact on time… its a think the four of us learned and Kurama as a proxy learned… you're the only one here who hasn't gotten used to that so maybe a bit of an adjustment… good luck… oh and by the way, in case it means anything, on our 18th birthday, Naruto, Sasuke, and I lost our virginities to various women, so unless you want to be a rare virgin here, I suggest you find someone to have fun with, heard some missions with Kunoichi either don't go well, or some have to seduce and do more with some targets to get some info out of them… nuff said…" Emerald explained as he, Kurama, and Lillum left the room leaving an amused Sasuke and Naruto with a royally confused, shocked, and horrified by the fact that Sasuke lost his V-Card and not to her.
"W-WHAT?!" Sakura shouts as her eyes widened at the terrible news.
'I-I can't believe it… Sasuke-kun lost his virginity… with someone else.'
Naruto and Sasuke than got up and stretched their bodies as Naruto looks at Sasuke.
"Hey Sasuke, want to get some Ramen or something?, or maybe stop by Tenten's shop to restock on Kunai and Shuriken?, heard you were running low and stuff." Naruto said as he moved to get to the bottom of the class stairs in the classroom as Sasuke moved to join him.
