A scene opens up with Atomsk as he waits for TME to finish reading last chapter.
TME than closed the chapter with him rubbing his chin thoughtfully.
"Hehe, man Touka is going to make things interesting soon when the final battle happens." TME said while he grins at Atomsk when he noticed him.
"No kidding and finally, we're up to speed here." Atomsk said.
"More or less… ah been so long since we updated SS here… you remember things besides the latest chapter?" TME said while he looks at Atomsk curiously.
"Yeah Naruto is under the Spider contract, he befriends Emerald and Sasuke. Danzo is still a prick especially when he messes with Emerald and Naruto has a growing harem." Atomsk said.
"Yeah hehe, back in Konoha Naruto has the shapely Hinata, Ino, and maybe more though would be iffy with Kurama at this point since she has been having fun with Emerald more often from what I remember… Lillum may as well swing even if in Emerald's harem, still just in case we need to make sure that we try and make things more… Naruto centric since we have had a lack of Naruto led lemons in this story… granted he is getting stronger, just need to make it so we have a few more ladies for him after the group returns to Konoha… would be interesting to think on and stuff… ironically the more I'm thinking the more I remember with Sasuke's mother being alive and stuff though hard to tell if she is fond of Emerald or Naruto more… need to really reread things more." TME said while he rubs his head after sweatdropping… he was remembering things, just not the smaller details.
"Well depending on things, maybe we can say that Sasuke's mother knew Kushina so she can say things about her to Naruto and stuff. Maybe she gets fond on the smile on his face or something. As for lemons… hehe… would be funny if Naruto and Touka got involved but if we did Konoha… maybe a certain ramen waitress gets involved too." Atomsk said with an amused look.
"Maybe maybe… just in case for Sasuke's mother, need to really reread parts with her so we don't have conflicting info, as for Ayame if that is her name… I think… damn really need to reread some manga or watch anime or look at a wikia at least… I remember the arcs well enough… hard to remember names lately… been awhile… anyway we just need to finish the Wave arc and we can pull a Jiraiya and do some research here but unlike him, we wouldn't peek on women in the nude… don't quote me on that Atomsk since we do have lemons…" TME said while he gave Atomsk a half lidded look while the crew behind the camera looked ready to laugh at the no peeking thing.
"Don't know what you're talking about." Atomsk said before doing some fake coughs as he said… Shadow of Ice.
TME sweatdrops at this.
"Anyway… just to recap on women… Emerald has Lillum, possibly Haku if dates go well… Kurama may as well be a wild card for Emerald and Naruto until later… Naruto has Hinata and Ino… Sakura may go to Sasuke in the long run though she may train with others sex wise to help her in seduction… and finally… we may have the Raman waitress at Ichiraku raman be Naruto's woman when they come back and stuff…. Any objections?" TME said while he looks at Atomsk with a hopeful look on the subject being changed.
Atomsk was amused.
"Fine by me. Besides… more girls will come once we arrived at the Chunin exam arc. Though food for thought for Emerald… considering he's the papa to Ruby, grandpa Danzo can't know or else big trouble."
"Oh he can, its just Danzo may not do anything to Ruby because even he wouldn't want to piss Serina off… he maybe strong but against Serina and her literal army of spider children, would be a VERY bad idea in pissing her off for a multitude of reasons." TME said while shuddering since an angry Serina is a scary Serina.
"That's true. Lets not forget the secret mother. Who knows when she will appear." Atomsk said.
"You mean Emerald's mother right?" TME asked since Emerald's mother here may as well be a mystery and since in most stories Emerald's mother was normally Helios but now that she was in the story as Emerald's sensei and Emerald didn't have a bad reaction to her, no relation there.
"Yeah. That's what I meant." Atomsk said.
"Ah well don't worry she will appear at the Chunnin exam and stuff… serious Orochimaru stuff happening there in the later half after all… anyway any questions before we start officially?" TME asked while he gave Atomsk a curious look.
Atomsk was thoughtful for a moment.
"Hmmm… I don't think so."
"OK… just a quick pop quiz if you remember Touka in the story… who is she and what did she do last chapter before it ended?... I ask since I just finished the chapter and this is also to give people a reminder on who Touka is more or less if they just jump here from no other chapter." TME said while he rubs his chin.
"Oh well let's see… Touka is revealed to be Zabuza's daughter from his many one night stands and is out to get Zabuza's blade to be the new swordsmen. Also she and Naruto had a terrible first meeting and… Emerald is eating Amy's cookies without permission." Atomsk said.
"What?!" Amy said as she looks at Emerald.
"Why bring me into this man!?... look Amy I'll head to Toriko's world to get you some super cookies if you want… come on don't summon the hammer OK?" Emerald said while he backed away from Amy for a moment nervously as she summoned her piko piko hammer for a moment… though hearing about cookies from Toriko's world, a world that made other worlds food items low level in comparison…
"Alright… I'll give you a head start to get the cookies." Amy said.
"Right… mind manning the camera please… oh you are so getting it later Atomsk." Emerald said as he opened a portal and jumped in after summoning a stool for Amy to stand on and she smiles when she manned the camera after aiming it at Atomsk and TME.
Atomsk chuckles nervously.
"Oops."
"Yeah… look lets get into the story and hope Emerald hunting for the legendary Toriko world cookies come to fruition and stuff…" TME said when he was now wanting to get into the story before anything else happened so he just skipped Atomsk's turn to talk by looking at the readers.
"As you can see people the next few chapters are going to be interesting and NO… no no spoilers for the differences for what happens in the chunnin exam… trust me will be a shocker." TME said while he grins at the readers.
"Yup so right now, lets get to finishing the wave arc." Atomsk said.
"Yup… may take a chapter or two though but don't worry people… after this things will focus more on Naruto a bit more since thanks to Jirai Gumo and plenty of training in calligraphy… he will have many interesting traps to use… granted won't be much at first since lets face it… Naruto may have trouble with brush strokes and stuff… but he will get stronger and what not… which make make it funny if a Caligraphy inclined Naruto met and talked with a drawing obsessed Sai… odd if you think about it but thats for MUCH later… for now lets get the finally to the land of waves started!" TME said while he held a hand up and the scene shifts to the Land of Waves a day after Emerald and Kakashi talked with Haku.
Land of Waves/ Tasuna's house/ ?
"*Yawn*... thanks for the meal Tsumani-chan… honestly helps with keeping me awake to help point out Naruto's errors in Caligraphy and drawing seals…" Jirai Gumo while he looks at Tsumani while she brought him some coffee for Jirai gumo to drink and smiles kindly at him as Jirai Gumo looks at Naruto's latest seal and sighs.
"And no Naruto this won't work… the brush strokes are too thick… it will smear and cause issues with the seal… at best with this level it could absorb a Jutsu but explode after so unless your wanting to make an exploding paper bomb fueled by Jutsu well good on you there but I'm sure you want to pretty much fire Jutsu back at opponents right?" Jirai Gumo said while he sipped some more coffee.
Naruto grumbles.
"Dang it. This is harder than I thought. Wish it was easy like setting pranks."
"Well no one said art was easy, think of it like this… you love pranks right?... think of it as prepwork for your greatest pranks so to speak… after all if this could absorb Jutsu. Think of what else you could do with traps and stuff…. After all what are traps if not deadly pranks?" Jirai gumo said while trying to spin this in a way to help Naruto get more eager to learn this.
Naruto did look thoughtful for a second before grinning.
"Oh now I'm sold. Now I'm getting new prank ideas."
Kakashi who was walking by sweatdrops with Helios doing the same when Naruto worked with learning calligraphy for the proper brush strokes for the seals as Kakashi looks at Jirai Gumo.
"Something tells me the third Hokage would complain to Serina about this if he heard about the horrors you unleashed." Kakashi said while Jurai Gumo shrugged.
"Not my problem, you want me to teach him how to make trap seals, sooner or later he would get the idea, a motivator is a good way to help a person grow… at this rate should be a… somewhat decent trap maker before you leave for the bridge… again somewhat decent… with seals like these may not hold Jutsu long but could hold other things for an extended period of time… but its up to you guys on what gets stored and stuff." Jirai Gumo said while he looks at one of Naruto's seals and while he wouldn't say it out loud since it would give Naruto a big ego… Naruto's seals were not half bad actually… granted to a master like Jirai Gumo… low level but among rookie calligraphy writers and seal makers… not bad for a newbie.
"He has a point. For now we have to ready for whatever Gato is doing thanks to Ruby finding evidence." Helios said.
"Well I can answer that for you if you want." Serina said when she walked down some nearby stairs with some little spiders coming from her arm and moving out of sight.
"Really?, how?" Helios asked while Serina chuckles.
"I'm the boss of Spiders more or less, the little ones here tell me that Gato is planning something with the supposed daughter of Zabuza when she was seen walking into his base recently, I made a deal that as long as we don't cause many issues under the bridge after we settle things and they give us info on what Gato is doing, they could live there under the bridge and not bother humans and stuff and even help keep the bridge intact in case of any issues… they would leave the bridge but would leave traps just in case you all need them like hidden weapons or Kunai I had set up in advance." Serina said while she moved to sit at the table as Sasuke came back in after groaning when he cracked his neck as Kurama followed him inside.
"Hehe, not bad today Sasuke… honestly your speed is improving, could last about a minute straight now against me full speed." Kurama said while she gave Sasuke a fanged grin.
Sasuke lightly blush.
"T-Thanks." He said.
Kurama chuckles while she moved to get some tea, thanks to the lack of supplies in Wave, the group had to make do with making tea from leaves safe to use with honey from beehives and other stuff… not as hard to do as one would think… same with food from hunted animals that stuck around or occasional berries…. Anyway as more went on with people coming and going, Emerald showed up with Ruby while Emerald looks at Serina.
"Hey Serina I need a favor to ask before tomorrow happens." Emerald said while he looks at the humanoid boss spider monster woman mother of Lillum and Ruby.
"Hmm? And what's that?" Serina said as she pets Ruby's head.
"Simple, I need you or Naruto to summon some strong Spider soldiers, not a lot, maybe three or four, 2 for guarding Tazuna's home while we are gone just in case Gato tries anything funny with Tazuna's family, and 2 for the bridge so when or if Gato makes an appearance, most likely with plenty of goons… well… need some way to clean up all the bodies more or less and take care of stragglers." Emerald said while Ruby sat on his shoulders and had her arms crossed on Emerald's head while she enjoyed the high height.
Serina blinks a bit.
"I see… well I was already talking to both of your senseis to my kin be at the bridge but I can get a few to help guard the house."
"Really?... well that is helpful… anyway in case there are issues, may as well have Jirai Gumo here as a last resort of sorts, maybe he could make some traps around the house that won't be set off by Tazuna and Inari while they are gone." Emerald said as Jirai Gumo sighs.
"Seriously?" Jirai Gumo said when he wanted to take a nap.
Serina sighs.
"Jirai Gumo… lay off the naps. I feel you want to put the Nara clan in a contest to see who's the most lazy." She said making Naruto snort.
"Either that or they praise him like a God."
"Maybe, either way we should prep a bit more… for example we need more paper for Naruto since we're running low with all his practice… Naruto, Emerald, go and get more paper… I'll place some traps to make sure things don't go FUBAR while you guys are gone." Jirai Gumo said before yawning as he got up and sipped his coffee till it was gone.
Emerald blinks from that.
"Sure but why have me go with Naruto for paper shopping?" Emerald asked while Jirai Gumo looks at him.
"Lets be honest, Naruto has a habit of getting in trouble and since you pretty much stick with him daily, may as well not fight it." Jirai Gumo said while Emerald rubs his head.
"Fair enough." Emerald said while he looks up at Ruby.
"Ready for shopping Ruby?" Emerald asked when he looks up at his adopted daughter.
Ruby smiles.
"Yes papa!" She said.
Emerald smiles a little from this and as he and Naruto left with Ruby on his shoulders, Serina looks at the others.
"OK… lets make final preparations incase Zabuza's daughter tries anything funny." Serina with the group nodding as the scene went to Emerald, Naruto, and Ruby were at the marketplace after getting a HUGE stack of paper that was marked up a bit.
"Good grief… all this for 5000 yen… really going to kick Gato's ass for making prices skyrocket here." Emerald said while he let Ruby hold the paper while she looks determined to not let the stack drop while she walked next to Emerald as Emerald walked next to Naruto.
"You and me both. When we're done with him, I'm gonna have my spiders make a nest out of his corpse." Naruto said.
"Not if I don't cave his head in or let Zabuza deal with the guy… pretty sure anything we would do would be low key compared to the demon of the Mist." Emerald said while he looks at Naruto.
"Anyway Naruto, mind explainin how hard it is to make the seals?... I mean what are you looking for anyway besides counters?" Emerald said while Naruto crossed his arms.
"Well for starters Jirai Gumo-Sensei pretty much told me that seals like this use time and space compression to condense the Jutsu fired into doubling its power and the altered properties of the Jutsu…" Naruto starts to say before went on an explanation shockingly complex for Naruto's usual stuff to read and well… Ruby had comical swirly eyes when she was carried by Emerald while she had steam from her head and Emerald gave Naruto a half lidded look.
"Dude… may be still growing use to it but you made my daughter's brain explode with talk that complex…. Even I was barely able to make things out." Emerald said while he had Naruto hold all but one paper and Emerald folds one into a fan and was using it to try and help Ruby cool down as she muttered some of Naruto's words.
Naruto chuckles nervously.
"Oops?" He said.
"Well at least you're handling things well with being the dad. Though how weird would that family tree be since you're dating Lillum?"
"Want me to make you the funny Uncle in that since you helped caused this issue?" Emerald said while he gave Naruto a half lidded look as they continue on their walk.
Naruto jolts after hearing that.
"Uh I'm good." He said.
"Shame, would have been a laugh on seeing a brainy you explaining how you and I could be related while wearing comically oversized glasses." Emerald said before he group heard giggling when they saw Haku nearby… seems she was coming to town and hears the talk to be.
"Not sure what this funny uncle thing is but everything OK with Ruby?" Haku said while Emerald chuckles.
"Yeah, Naruto just showing a shocking brain moment and breaking Ruby's mind with complex words confusing her royally." Emerald said while he watched Haku come over and placed a cold hand on Ruby's head making her shudder and blink when she starts coming too.
"H-Huh?" Ruby said before noticing a smiling Haku.
"Haku-Chan!" Ruby said with a smile.
"Hey Ruby-Chan… did mean ol Naruto and his big words make your head hurt?" Haku said while she made her hand cooler making Ruby sigh in a pleased way.
"Hey I'm not mean." Naruto said with an offended look.
"Hehe… want to give me Raman at Konoha when we get back to Papa's home?... heard its good from Papa…" Ruby said with a teasing smirk on her face when she put Naruto in a corner… either get her Raman she never had to make him look good or act like a bad guy and everything by declining.
Naruto was taken aback by that when he sees that he's being played.
"Sneaky… alright. I'll get you ramen."
Ruby smiles as she looks at Naruto.
"Thank you… Uncle Naruto." Ruby said with a smile on her face making Haku fight back giggles while Emerald looks away to hide a grin that formed on his face.
Naruto blushes at the uncle remark before shaking his head.
"So why are you here Haku. Zabuza needs something?"
"Well yes and no… you see I was getting some last minute herbs nearby just in case anyone gets injured in the future since the battle may happen if things don't go well on the bridge… also wanted to ask a couple questions for Zabuza-sama to you and Emerald… Zabuza wanted me to ask and relay to him on what would happen if we did surrender or leave the bridge builder alone… we're a group of missing Ninja so working for cash to survive is pretty much the main reason we are alive today." Haku said while Emerald blinks as he points a thumb at Naruto.
"As Shocking as this sounds Naruto is the son of the fourth Hokage and pretty much treats the third like a Grandfather… if we explain things pretty sure as long as you guys adapt and stuff, the old man may let you be Konoha Ninja… I mean Demon of the mist as a Konoha ninja… that tough as hell Bruno and fast as hell Grigori with swordmanship that puts some of the Konoha ninja to shame… may keep quiet about your Kekkei genkai though for now unless its necessary to say… Konoha may try and put you in a CRA thing if not careful… after all with your… unique body both men and women could be sent to you daily if not in someone else's CRA." Emerald said while he explained a bit more like Emerald in a CRA and having two women back in Konoha… at worst… Haku maybe forced to be breeding stock though that was a bit of an extreme example… at best maybe just stuck with Emerald or Naruto since Naruto is in the CRA program… for Emerald… well… Emerald did show interest in Haku and since he was Danzo's son… could have some leeway if he used his fathers connections right.
Nuff said Emerald had passed Haku Ruby to hold while Emerald held the basket of herbs.
"...So thats what could happen if we don't talk with the third first… maybe make a few deals like if you get to know some women like Ino and Hinata, Lillum and Kurama…. Maybe Sakura hehe… well should be simple to have Lillum and Kurama have you as a lead women for them and stuff… I mean… Kurama was pretty sweet with you when she saw you before." Emerald said while smirking at Haku in a teasing way as Ruby giggles from this.
Haku blushes brightly as Naruto was a bit surprised at the info.
"Right… But Emerald is right. If you can count on anyone, it's Jiji."
"No kidding… you know how much Raman the third got Naruto… pretty sure would be a fortune in bills by now." Emerald said while he was lightly bopped on the head by Naruto.
"Oi!"Naruto said making Ruby and Haku giggle at Emerald and Naruto's antics.
"Despite the joke, sounds better than being wanted." Haku said.
"Well… wouldn't say being wanted is bad." Emerald said in a teasing flirting way making Haku blush when she got what Emerald meant as Ruby looks up at Haku with a moon like smirk.
"He Liiiiiikeeess you." Ruby teased while she giggles when it looked like she would get a new mama at this rate.
Naruto couldn't help but snicker at the teasing.
Haku blushed more by this but after some time to talk with Emerald and Naruto, Haku left while unaware that far from the group, Touka was looking at the group while she was silent for a moment.
'Such fools they are. Laughing and all that.' Touka thought while glaring at Naruto's direction.
Touka than left while she made sure to not make herself know to any while she thinks of a plan…. Thanks to Gato having nothing but thugs at his disposal, honestly things are not looking good for Touka much given she would be technically fighting 2 groups of highly trained Ninja and all she has was an army of Goons who could be outnumbered by Naruto and other Shadow clone users… the only reason Touka didn't abandon the mission she was on was because she had a couple ideas that could throw a wrench in their plans if she pulled things off right.
'No matter the odds, I will get that sword… father.' Touka thought with a determined look.
As she formulated plans In plans just in case, the scene shifts to Naruto, Ruby, and Emerald as they bring Jirai Gumo the papers.
"Good… better make the practice Pay off Naruto or we will have to make paper from scratch." Jirai Gumo joked while Naruto pales a bit at the thought.
"R-Right. I'll make sure to practice right away." Naruto said as he didn't want to make paper by scratch making Ruby giggle.
"Hehe, uncle Naruto, the main guy to rely on for this plan… no pressure." Ruby teased as Serina and Lillum came by and heard the Uncle part.
"Did someone call someone else uncle?" Lillum said.
Naruto sweatdrops.
"Yeah… I'm the uncle."
"Hehe, yeah if Papa is papa than Uncle Naruto who summoned me is Uncle… Would that make Sasuke my Uncle as well since he lives with them?" Ruby said when she heard Sasuke lived with Naruto and Emerald.
Serina chuckles.
"Looks like it. We're all a big ol happy family."
Ruby cheered a bit as Kurama walked by.
"Hey what's the ruckus about" Kurama said while Lillum smiles and told Kurama what happened making Kurama laugh a bit as Ruby looks at Kurama.
"Though if Papa is dating my sister and maybe you… would that make you a second mama to me Kurama or an auntie?" Ruby asked making Kurama jolt as Naruto busts out laughing.
"Oh Kami that's rich!" Naruto said while laughing.
"Not as Rich as you trying to explain how that kind of Family tree works if we have Serina as the mother and Emerald as the Father yet Emerald is dating Ruby's sister more or less." Jirai Gumo said when he found this amusing.
Naruto snorts.
"Nah, papa Emerald can do that." He said as he laughs more.
"Welp just for that if we survive and get back to Konoha, guess I'll be too busy figuring out this odd family tree to treat you to Ramen when we get home." Emerald said as he walked from Naruto while Emerald had a half lidded look on his face while he had his free hand behind his head.
Naruto sweatdrops.
"Was that too much?"
"For Emerald… nah… for you… may have lost out a good Ramen trip to Ichiraku ramen if Emerald takes that family tree thing seriously." Lillum said while she looks amused as she walked after Emerald with Serina giggling as she picked up Ruby.
"Well we should leave Naruto to practice, come on Ruby, need to make you a new threaded Kimono." Serina said as she carried Ruby away… she had a moon like smirk when she looked over her mouther shoulder.
"Bye Bye Uncle Naruto… Auntie Kurama." Ruby said in a teasing way to the duo as Jirai Gumo walked away to take a nap leaving Naruto and Kurama alone for a moment.
"Looks like Ruby is gonna keep calling you that… unless Emerald somehow claims you." Naruto said.
Kurama blushed by this as she looks at Naruto.
"Oh and after the time we had on your birthday you gave up that easily?... well nice to know got your blessing and stuff in seeing other guys like Emerald hehe." Kurama said while she shrugged and walked from Naruto while her ass swayed in Naruto's view and stuff reminding Naruto what Kurama had since again… she had fun with Naruto in the past but was a mystery on how many times.
Though hearing that irked Naruto as he catches up to the fox demon.
"Hey I didn't say I was giving up. I'm still gonna fight for that lovely hand of yours… and that sexy ass."
Kurama blinks and looks amused by this.
"Hehe, well how about this as incentive to practice more with traps and stuff… make a decent trap that helps with the bridge and I may reward you later when we don't have to worry about getting attacked by Gato and his men later… nuff said I had practice with guys like Emerald, shifters like Serina, and Jutsu users like Anko so my rusty skills in… pleasing a partner are pretty much gone so food for thought if you thought that time on your 18th birthday was my best… won't lie though with Haku-chan's body… hehe… may try and seduce her if anything since she is similar to me… still food for thought in case Emerald is too busy making some kind of odd family tree to give you ramen right?" Kurama said as she moved to walk from Naruto with hands behind her head.
Naruto blinks a bit before having a thought.
'Just you wait Kurama-chan. I'll make the best trap ever. Believe it!' He thought with determination.
This made him run into the house to practice though he did make sure to not rush since well… he didn't want to pay 5000 yen or more for a stack of paper and what not… point is the rest of the day went more or less uneventful though Jirai Gumo when he saw how determined Naruto was sweatdrops when Naruto was using slow detailed brush strokes and stuff… helped with practice… but after some pointers by Jirai Gumo Naruto sped up a bit since if he had to work on traps on the fly, would be counterproductive if he worked too slowly.
The rest of the day was more or less uneventful though as Kakashi and Helios as they walked through the town did notice that they were being watched occasionally by people… the kicker was that unless it was a native of the land of wave who had a slight malnourished look… these guys were too healthy so Kakashi looks at Helios to see if she noticed the difference… seems Gato's men were keeping an eye on them.
"Gato is really trying to put a scare in us." Kakashi said.
"Shame its not working… still this many eyes on us… it shows that unlike earlier they are not acting scared so unless Gato and possibly Touka on Gato's side have some kind of plan… we should be careful." Helios said while she could feel eyes on her and Kakashi… they were too far to hear what the duo were saying so Kakashi and Helios could speak freely but couldn't get too close to some shops when some of Gato's goons were disguised as occasional shoppers and what not.
"Indeed." Kakashi said with a narrow look as from his one eye as he kept his guard up.
"Yeah… we should let the others know after we do some last minute shopping… need to refill on pepper and other items." Helios said as Kakashi and Helios continue their shopping… after the duo finished their shopping the time went to night with Naruto passing Jirai Gumo a piece of paper he worked on and Jirai gumo hums when he looks it over as Naruto looks nervous.
"Hmmm… not a masterwork but for holding a Jutsu for a short time… passable… though making one in battle is different than being stationary, if you can get someone to practice with and making a single seal that can hold and fire back a Jutsu, you would pass a test making the seal battle worthy… one downside before you ask in making seals in advance, if it was a masterwork, could work for a day or two, work like this… not great for storage." Jirai gumo said before he yawns a bit.
"Dang… at least I'm close. Just need to see who can help me." Naruto said.
"Eh who knows, you got a day tomorrow to practice so stock up on paper before doing anything… good luck in that though since I can tell you'll need more paper than before for this… going to nap now since its late."
