Giant Mermaid Princess's Heartful Confession!
It has been a little over four months since the Literature Club gained their superpowers in the mysterious way from that strange light, and now they are trying their best on living their normal life while discovering what incredible things they can do with their powers. All the members are present in the clubroom, and Chopper took off his human mask that Chifuyu made for him and mittens he owns for hiding his hoof hands which he discovers he can still hold things with them.
Now, they are about to do something super important as Robin closes the door.
"Looks everyone is accounted for and none had any extra activities today either." Robin informed after checking the hallway for anyone outside the clubroom.
"Then we can do it, right?" Jurai excited.
"That's right, it's time for the Literature Club Month Supernatural Power Checkup." Robin announced as all the students here ready themselves.
Chifuyu closes her eyes for a couple of seconds and open them again creating a large portal on half of the clubroom, creating another dimensional space where everything around them is a stone wasteland with tall rock formations and clear blue sky.
"Okay everyone, the stage is set." Chifuyu said.
"Oh man, I will never get tire of seeing how awesome your power is to make everything from the top of your head!" Chopper cheered jumping around Chifuyu.
"Thank you, Chopper. You may bow at my awesomeness." Chifuyu smiled with her head up a little.
"I bow at your awesomeness!" Chopper bowed on his knees and face toward the ground.
"Aw, look at the little couple getting all cozy with each other." Hakoto amazed of the cute moment between the two kids.
"I swear, it's like the universe is telling us those two are meant for each other." Sayumi agreed and Robin claps her hands loudly a bit.
"Okay everyone, to time for the practice match and to see who will facing against the other." Robin announced as she holds up a pink box.
"Awesome! I can't wait to whip all your butts today!" Jurai proclaimed.
"Or scream like a little baby in the end." Tomoyo mocked.
"Okay, the first match will be Sayumi vs Chopper." Robin announced.
"What?! Me against Sayumi, I'm not sure about this." Chopper gasped.
"Don't be afraid, Chopper. I know you can win because you're an awesome reindeer!" Chifuyu cheered.
"Come on, telling me how awesome I am isn't going to make me feel exciting." Chopper giggled and moving his body cheerfully.
"I must admit, this does bring some excitement in me to see if my power will work well against yours." Sayumi walked up to the battlefield.
Sayumi and Chopper are now across from each other about forty feet though the reindeer boy looks nervous.
"Chopper, don't forget to do the intro we talked about." Jurai called out.
"Oh, okay!" Chopper said and runs further a bit.
Chopper then transform into a full reindeer and running back to his spot, he jumps high transforming into his large muscle form and slam his fist on the ground before roaring like an angry man and change back to his little form.
"You better be ready because this doctor is going to bring in the pain." Chopper said with his right hoof in front.
"Seriously, how have you let Jurai do something silly like in a fighting game?" Sayumi sighed.
"Come on, Sayumi, it makes the matches more exciting." Jurai claimed.
Sayumi just wanted to ignore Jurai from his childish nonsense but decided to go along anyway as she walks up a bit and brush her hair up like a wind blew on her and look serious.
"I hope you're ready for some punishment." Sayumi said.
"Ready and… FIGHT!" Robin signaled.
Chopper charge first in his reindeer form running fast like any other reindeers and Sayumi quickly jumps out of the way, Chopper try running at her again with a little more speed and Sayumi dodges him again only having two rip holes on her sleeve. Chopper became large again to use his big muscular arm to grab Sayumi by the leg and lifts her up also holding her head.
"Behold, Tony Tony Chopper's Human-Reindeer! He can transform into three types of beast such as a normal reindeer, the large muscle human form, and his small hybrid form we all form. He is a power force of nature from winter wonderland while being a brilliant doctor to boot!" Jurai explained dramatically about Chopper's power.
"I hope you can forgive me for this, Sayumi." Chopper slammed Sayumi onto the ground hard.
"Oh, that's gotta hurt." Rebecca commented.
"You okay?" Chopper asked.
Despite the pain, Sayumi swiftly move her left arm to elbow strike Chopper on his blue nose forcing him back and she swipe kick his left leg to make him lose balance just enough for her to jump up and double kick him on the chest forcing his back on the ground.
"Don't worry, Chopper, I know you mean well." Sayumi said with a little blood on her head, but its gone thanks to her power.
"Behold, Sayumi's Root of Origin can return anything or anyone she touches to its originally state, but there is one issue: it's not like people and things have restore points like a computer, so the actually timeline of restoration is unknown. This is the best way to check it for now." Jurai explained Sayumi's power.
"Okay, you got me good." Chopper said before getting himself back up.
"But let see how you will deal with me once I use my Rumbel Ball." Chopper holds up a yellow ball pill.
"Oh, that must be Chopper's new medicine he told me about." Chifuyu realized.
"Really, is that like a power boost?" Tomoyo asked curious.
"Yeah, something like that." Chifuyu nodded.
Chopper ate on the Rumbel Ball and charges at Sayumi again throwing some punches as she dodges them and manages to land a few hits of her own, then Chopper jumps to body slam as Sayumi jumps back to dodge though heard some sort of bouncy sound.
"Huh, Chopper, you're big and round!" Sayumi shocked as everyone else is.
"Huh?" Chopper confused of what Sayumi meant until he looks at him becoming a giant furball.
"Uh, what the heck happened to me?" Chopper freaked out.
"It looks like Chopper's Rumbel Ball did something else than giving him a power boost." Robin pointed out.
"Aw man, I spent a whole month working on the Rumbel and I became a furball." Chopper complained.
"He just made himself cuter." Chifuyu whispered blushing.
"Can you change back?" Sayumi asked.
"I don't know, this is the first time I used the Rumbel Ball." Chopper said.
"I'll help you." Robin crossed her arms and start using her power.
"Ochenta Fleur: Throw" Robin summoned eighty arms combined into four large arms, two behind Chopper as they pick him up and threw him to the others as he is caught by the other two large arms.
"Wow, that was awesome, Miss Nico." Shiraoshi complimented.
"Thank you, that was about eighty arms I made." Robin said.
"Amazing from Nico Robin's Flower-Flower power as she can replicate and sprout pieces of her body from the surface of any object or living thing which can be her arms, legs, even her eyes making them grow like beautiful flowers." Jurai explained dramatically again as Robin helps set Chopper straight using spurted legs on him.
"Okay, next up is Rebecca vs Chifuyu." Robin said drawing the lot.
Rebecca is facing the opposite direction of Chifuyu on one knee with her face facing down until she got up and turns around clutching her fists.
"I don't want to hurt you much, so I'll make this quick." Rebecca said for her intro.
Chifuyu walks up with her stuff squirrel as she steps out of a portal and down on a small starcase she made.
"Let's both have lots of fun together." Chifuyu said for her intro.
Chifuyu created two cannons firing half-human size cannonballs made of steel at Rebecca who is running around her.
Rebecca stops and caught one steel cannonball with both hands as the force of the ball pushes her back though only ten feet, she shoves the cannonball back colliding against another one which crush both upon impact.
"It's nice to play ball once and a while." Rebecca commented before catching another steel cannonball throwing it right back it Chifuyu with greater force then the cannons.
Chifuyu quickly have the two cannons fire at the one Rebecca threw to stop its fast approach and looks up seeing Rebecca diving at her with a fist ready to punch, the little girl quickly created a giant glass dome in the shape of a skull as Rebecca's fist collide to the skull causing a powerful shockwave.
"The Mighty Rebecca unleashing her Beyond Gladiator, which is basically a superstrength power making her WAY stronger than the strongest men and women combined, and she also become indestructible that nothing could harm her body!" Jurai bragged.
"Hehehe, well, indestructible to everything except for one thing." Jurai said with a narrow eye.
"Nice protector, harder than the last one you made." Rebecca complimented.
"Thank you, the glass is made to withstand four armored tanks." Chifuyu explained.
"Nice one but let see if it'll last long." Rebecca smirked as she pushes her fist into the dome increasing her strength and manage to make a head size crack on the dome.
"I don't think so." Chifuyu created twenty sharp knives around her with rocket thruster at the end.
Rebecca saw those and quickly dodges them with the best of her agility, but she a few cuts on her body or a bit more including on her cheek.
"Yes, the only weakness Rebecca has is sharp objects like swords, spears, and bullets too as to why she works really hard on her reaction time and agility to dodge as much as she can." Jurai nodded.
"Yeah, go to her, Chifuyu!" Chopper cheered.
"And you have the right to cheer for her not only for her cuteness, but also her World Create is the power of creation itself: if it can be imagine, she can make it happen even the empty fabric of space." Jurai smirked.
Rebecca kept going strong and manages to smash all the knives as she smiles and so did Chifuyu, then Rebecca found her foot stuck on a super-sticky trap that Chifuyu made while she was distracted by the knives.
The next match came as Hatoko vs Tomoyo on the battlefield.
"Hope you're ready for some fun, Mother Nature Style!" Hatoko excited making the five elements appear around her for her intro.
Tomoyo try hum and glares at Jurai telling him that she is not doing the intro thing.
"Here I come, Tomoyo! Air and Water combine into a blizzard!" Hatoko unleashed a power of a snowy wind at Tomoyo pushing her back until her back touches a glass wall.
"What the… when did you made that?" Tomoyo asked shock.
"I got the idea from Chifuyu's match, mix sand from earth and fire then you get glass." Hatoko bragged.
"Hatoko sure loves to have fun with her power, Over Element: earth, water, fire, wind, and light. All five elements of nature and she can combine them however she wants, making her super powerful like Chifuyu." Jurai exclaimed.
"If you don't like the cold, then how about I warm you up." Hatoko fired a big stream of fire.
"I don't think so." Tomoyo stopped time as the fire stream is about five feet close to her.
Tomoyo runs up to the frozen Hatoko and lifts her up in her arms.
"I have to admit, you also had me with that glass wall trap and could have got me with the fire if I didn't freeze time." Tomoyo smiled as she carries Hatoko back to the others and unfroze time.
"Huh, how did I get here?" Hatoko confused.
"That's because of Tomoyo's power, Closed Clock. It's the power to manipulate time itself! She doesn't really have the power to make time go backward, but she can speed it up, stop it, and slow it down at any pace she wants!" Jurai bragged.
"And once again, you're over there talking to yourself." Tomoyo deadpanned.
"Alright, last practice match is Shiraoshi vs Jurai." Robin announced.
Jurai is now standing on a metal platform that is 25 feet radius and surrounded by water, he emits his body of his darkness aura and spread his darkness on the platform.
"It's useless to fight me, for I am pure darkness that consumes everything!" Jurai smirked as his intro.
Shiraoshi got on top of a diving board and jumps into the water, then she raises up in her giant mermaid form swimming around once wearing the bikini she got with a waterproof skirt.
"P-Please don't be too rough on me or I won't forgive you." Shiraoshi stuttered bravely for her intro.
"O-Okay, here goes. Flying Fish Missiles" Shiraoshi splashed some water forward and they change into dozens of flying fish heading right at Jurai.
"Fool, nothing can get by my Dark Wall" Jurai made a wall of darkness suck into the water flying fishes into it.
But he fails to notice that Shiraoshi made a water whip that came right at Jurai on the left as it strikes him on the head and knocks him down.
"Ow, ow, ow, that fucking hurt!" Jurai cursed.
"I-I'm sorry, Jurai, are you okay?" Shiraoshi worried as she swims around.
"Well done, you certainly got me. And you've improved your Poseidon Princess power as you become a might giant mermaid with incredible speed in the water, water control like Hatoko though only in contact with the water, and super strong too given your size." Jurai bragged making Shiraoshi blush.
"But can you really escape from this?" Jurai hold out his hand.
"Black Vortex" Jurai's hand turned black and swirling mist forms just as Shiraoshi came out to use another move, she suddenly felt her body getting pulled in towards him.
She tries to fight back the gravity of his darkness as she swims backward, but it was too strong, and she got pulled out of the water as she holds up her arms for protection.
"No one can escape the gravitational power of darkness, not only that but I can also take your power away too!" Jurai grabbed Shiraoshi's large arm to deactivate her power.
However, he realizes too late that Shiraoshi is still big and found himself being crushed by her body before she shrunk back down to size.
"Oh no, Jurai, are you okay!" Shiraoshi asked, worry she might've crushed him as his eyes swirl of dizzy.
"And the dork got himself taken out though I'll admit, he did a little better controlling his power." Sayumi stated.
"Man, I should have been more careful than that." Jurai groaned in pain and then Shiraoshi suddenly went back into the water and became a giant mermaid again.
"Uh, what's she doing?" Chopper wondered as the match is over.
"Jurai, we've known each other since middle school and we've been friends, right?" Shiraoshi asked as her eyes are shadow by her hair.
"Huh, what's all this about? You're one of my greatest friends, a treasure that I could never trade away, you know that." Jurai said.
"A-And what would say if I wanted us to be more than friends?" Shiraoshi asked nervous confusing Jurai a bit.
"Oh my, it looks like she's going for it." Robin smiled knowing what Shiraoshi is doing.
"Wait, what? Going for what?" Tomoyo asked worry though she's probably gets the idea.
"Jurai Ando, I… I love you with all my heart and I want to be your girlfriend!" Shiraoshi shouted her feelings causing everyone became shock.
"Y-You're serious?!" Jurai gasped.
"I-I know this is s-sudden, but I'm super serious! I've been in love with you for a long time and without you… my life would be nothing." Shiraoshi summoned all her courage and show the serious in her eyes.
"So, you want to date a Chūni loser like me?" Jurai asked calm.
"You were never a loser to me, and don't worry about what other people say about us because you taught me about following my own path and my heart." Shiraoshi smiled which struck Jurai in the heart with his face slightly turning light red.
"Well, I'm very shock about this though at the same time I've always thought what it would be like to go out with you." Jurai said.
"Oh no, tell me this isn't happening." Tomoyo feared.
"I think you already know." Sayumi said as Hatoko is shock with her hands over her mouth with her face turning red.
"Shiraoshi Aoi Umi, I would be honor to be your boyfriend." Jurai replied her feelings.
"Oh Jurai, you make me so happy." Shiraoshi cried a little and kiss her big kips on Jurai's face, making sure she doesn't suck him in, as he kisses her back.
He uses his dark power to shrink Shiraoshi back down to her normal size again as they continue the kiss while everyone is watching shock except for Robin smiling at them, Chifuyu took Chopper's hand as they blush a little.

Hope you all like this chapter of how our heroes have been doing before we get to the main storyline, as you can see they have been doing great with their powers and experimenting on how far they can go while having fun at the same time. And yes, Shiraoshi and Jurai are now a couple, bet you didn't see that coming because I thought it would be cool like that and Jurai will soon find out that Shiraoshi isn't the only one with love interest in him.
