Sorry for taking so long to update the story everyone, been having a lot of hectic things go on in life currently, this chapter is going to be very long and probably a one time deal of having one of this length.

I wrote it all as one chapter so I decided it to be for the best to keep it as a single chapter.

The way everything goes down in this chapter is much more tame compared to what I might of wrote it as, I might throw the original in but with how it goes some may not be happy for how it ends.

Guest: Yeah I have a bit of a weird writing style with the constant switching, my favorite authors are mostly Russian and it's something indicative of a Russian writing style. I'm sorry that it breaks your immersion but it's how I'm used to reading things and writing them.

I am trying to improve my writing as I go as well so hopefully it won't be that jarring in the future, I also do know the difference between it's and its, it's more than likely intended if I wrote it as its or it's in different scenarios as well as your and you're.

llaube: Thank you.

Donuthair5618: I'm glad you're enjoying my story as much as I enjoy yours my friend! And on the subject of encouraging others to read your story.

I suggest everyone to go read A Legacy to Protect by my friend Donut, it's really well written and well paced as well, if you're a fan of more modern day stuff it's definitely an amazing read.

I enjoy it so I only feel as though it's fair for me to let other's know about it. And trust me my friend your story is leaps and bounds ahead of mine and I love seeing every new chapter that you write!

Thank you for the kind words my dude it means a lot!

Without further ado, onto the story.

Valentine P.O.V.

Christ had left just moments ago. It felt strange to say, really he never in all of his life would of expected God, Christ, The Saint, to ever visit him in any way. It was... unfamiliar to him to feel such conflictions and regret for what he has done. Many would argue on his side too, many would demand that God show himself, to prove that he is real and if not then God is not worthy of praise or doesn't exist.

And they would be oh so wrong just like he was, and still is in this very moment even thinking such things.

It's... almost overwhelming that despite even the stance he took in his actions, that Christ would still forgive his many atrocities and vile deeds he has committed.

'This isn't something I can dwell on currently. Above all else I'm the protector of this country first and foremost, if I'm to be damned for eternity for saving my people by my means... so be it. What I want doesn't matter no matter how much I yearn for forgiveness, others more deserving than me will be saved.'

Well, this would long conflict with him emotionally, but he has already decided. To forsake the chance of a lifetime, to give millions of others that chance.

He knew what to do, and what his current objective was. He needed to get his men together, at any moment could an attack be launched on the safehouse, and whatever side was the most prepared would win.

He made his way out of the Storeroom quickly, and made way down the red carpeted hallway, never once glancing to the sides, he felt no need anymore. door after door, nothing popped up. He found the first room to house any soldiers, there was a dozen of them.

'That leaves seven dozen more.'

"Men, I require your assistance, we have something of great import we must attend to, I expect, no questions, understood?"

From what he saw, none of the soldiers looked like they would ask anything at this point.

"Good, I need you all to fan out throughout the building and find all of the other soldiers, get the maids, butlers, and any guests to the second level bring them to my Office, give any who can fight a gun and have them guard each other inside. Bring all of your fellow soldiers to the entranceway stairs leading to the second floor in the main hallway."

'Well they're alert now. I shouldn't need to explain much more to them, this should make things go smoother than anticipated.'

None of the soldiers moved since he had spoken... well sometimes some firmness is needed.

"Do as I said now. This is an urgent situation. We're in the lines now men, hop to it, before I have to do it myself."

"YES SIR!"

He saw all the soldiers scramble to make themselves useful and do the job they were meant to do. He realized he needed to make the training regiment much more arduous, if this was how almost everyone would react to a direct order from him.

He made his way once again down the rest of the hallway in the wake of all the soldiers commotion and bumbling at hearing the current task he gave them.

His eye was caught by something peculiar that his stand was doing as he walked down the hallway, D.4.C. was running both of it's hands across both sides of the hall, it's wing span well over nine feet long. That wasn't the intriguing part to him however. It was the strange glow that it's fingers left on the wooden walls as he kept walking.

It was the same glow that the pillars from Love Train had, and the glow from killing those creatures in the other world. His first and most apt comparison was to be like that of a Pastor consecrating an area with Holy and Divine protection. He then thought on it, it was likely that D.4.C. could consecrate areas as well... it's a direct gift from the Saint himself.

'Is my stands mere existence enough to bless areas in the name of Christ? The light that D.4.C. has produced could only indicate that at this point, there's no other explanation. It would only make sense, ever since I've had D.4.C. I could never catch any disease or sickness, my wounds even heal faster than they should...'

He was almost lost in these thoughts of what had been different since he had acquired D.4.C. and the Saint's Heart. He knew that he had changed ever since he acquired the Heart and D.4.C., he'd be damned if he didn't figure out all the changes that had occurred over the years since he acquired them both.

'None of the other Soldiers seem to have been in this hall besides the dozen I spoke to. Hmm, that's surprising... I would of thought there would be more in this hall, it has the most things to do... instruments, board games, cards, even the counseling area is in this hall. Best to acquiesce the fact that something may of already happened...

What the Hell was that sound behind me!'

As he turned around he saw a creature identical to the Brides maid he fought in a parallel reality. It was already stopped however by the looks of it, D.4.C. was holding it in place, completely crushing it's neck to the point of severing but holding both head and body together with it's hand.

He looked over to the left, of course it might work, there is only one way to find out.

'D.4.C., push it against the wall where the glow is coming from, let's see how this energy works.'

His stand pushed the Brides maid against the wall even as it tried to hit the thing that was holding it, he smiled, this immature creature needs to learn some manners, it's never going to be able to touch something it can never hope to even achieve.

The creature was already dealing with the energy coming from D.4.C. It seems that even the areas D.4.C. had touched are affecting the creature. Less than a few seconds, that's all it took just seconds and the energy had utterly annihilated the creature, nothing left remained of the abomination.

'This is a welcome benefit. Thank Christ this power is available to me. This can turn the tide against this things should I ever need something that can.'

His stand just put down it's arm back down and slowly followed behind him as he walked down the rest of the hallway, he had a a deep set feeling of anxiousness and unease, he knew there had to be more of these creatures here, whether they are the same as the Brides maid or not he didn't know.

He had to be prepared for the worst case scenario, and the worst case right now? All the people inhabiting the building disemboweled, eaten, and turned into monsters.

'Let's keep moving, there's nothing else of worth here. We need to secure the non combatants, they are our first and foremost concern. I have a feeling Senator Phillips is still around. Keep ahead of me when we round corners, it'll make a surprise attack null and void.'

He kept moving on he knew none of the guards or others in the building could hear a single noise from him as he walked with a practiced step that came from a long life of subterfuge. D.4.C. had rounded the corner though he saw no one through his stand's sight, he was on the first floor so it made sense there weren't many here, He'd ordered everyone to make their way to the second floor and hold up any one up there.

'Still nothing, I'm already past the hallway corridor. None are in the dining area, or the kitchen it looks like. I can hear footsteps above me, I can only hope it's just the Soldiers and civilians, D.4.C. go above and look.'

It should be fine, though he had a range of two meters where D.4.C. could retain it's full strength it was tall enough to extend the range by a couple meters upwards, the ceiling was only eleven feet above him that left D.4.C. enough to get it's head and torso phased through to look.

He saw through his stand, and he was relieved, all of the soldiers were on the second floor and moving about with an urgency getting other's flocked together and taking them down different hallways and routes that led to his Office.

Some had extra guns, bayonets, and knives and handed them off to any non Soldier that could fight.

'We'll need to bless the weapons the Civilians have... these creatures are much stronger than any man or woman could ever hope to be. The Holy energy can only be a benefit to them at this point, it annihilates the creatures, it's their best hope besides the Soldiers and I.'

He moved along faster than before, he still felt quite a bit of restlessness and unease at this point, these creatures were vermin, and where there was one just like rats there would always be more, even when you thought you had stamped them out. He picked up the pace more, these things wouldn't have any more of this Country or what resided in it.

'D.4.C. restrain your physical attacks, we can fix anything we break but we can't let any of the others see anything out of the ordinary from I, I can't actively explain the building reappearing from thin air either... I can't explain them withering away around me either, We'll have to rely on the Soldiers and any weapons I can use.'

He reached the main entrance and made his way up the stairs with the practiced speed of a veteran, when he reached the top he made his way to the left corridor towards the back, some Soldiers noticed him but steered clear as his eyes had a steely blue gaze of determination upon them.

'The second to last door on the left, that's where I hid my Cavalry Sabre, I left my father's rifle there as well. They have the honor to serve this country once again.'

There was noise coming from the room as he approached, it connected to the right corridor where his office was. There could be more of the demons already upon the soldiers, damn these things, he'd have to hurry even more so.

He slammed the door open and saw that the room was the same as it was when he left his Sabre and Gun there, some couches and locker's that were filled with extra weapons and items from around the building. He was careful, D.4.C. ready to bounce anything off of it's forearm. He made his way to the front of the room and felt along one of the lockers.

'Eighteen fifty four...'

He opened the locker, and saw the Cavalry Sabre he had earned from his step father, and the rifle that once belonged to his birth father. He felt melancholy and sadness, but this was not the time or place to deal with his past. For the future can be so much brighter for everyone here, as long as he does the job he was chosen to do by more people than he could ever count in his lifetime.

He slowly shut the locker and moved towards the door that lead to the right side corridor. This place could be a maze to almost anyone, except for the man who designed it himself. Luckily he did design this building, and put more time into this than many of his other projects. He made his way slowly through the door as he opened it and surveyed the area seeing everything was fine, soldiers still rushing about with each other, and getting citizens to his office just a few doors to the left.

'D.4.C. I need you to search for a pair of matches, look through all of the neighboring worlds and bring them back to me. Hide them in my pants left pocket. This theory of mine should hold weight enough to work, and it just might save lives.'

He knew D.4.C. would get exactly what he needed, it's never failed him before and he was sure it wouldn't fail him at this point either. Though there were an infinite amount of dimensions he had always managed to traverse them whenever he needed to find something. Hmm, he felt something enter his pant's pocket, it seemed D.4.C. had done it's job as he saw it was hovering right next to him once again.

It was good none of the soldiers noticed him acting somewhat less observant of his surroundings, he still glanced around to make sure none noticed his short absence of what they would assume is thought. There was no time like the present he knew so he made his way down the left to see how many were put in his office, it wasn't the largest area in the building but it was quite large around twenty by thirty feet, though the main entrance was almost quadruple that.

'D.4.C. look through the wall, I have a feeling Senator Phillips is within, and I'd rather not be stuck within a conversation in the current situation...'

His stand phased itself through the wall and saw that there was at least forty people crammed inside his office, only some wearing similar uniforms and dress attire signifying the buildings maids, and butlers.

'There he is, Senator Phillips is here, some ambassadors from other nations it seems too. This is going to make this all the more irritating to deal with, but all the more beneficial as long as they are safe. Some of the ambassadors have weapons as well, I hope they some of those who have boasted about being hunters can actually put it into practice. Almost all of them are armed, those who know what to do can teach the others with what time they have, that's the best I can do for them without drawing suspicions.'

Damnit, one of the soldiers almost glanced at him just staring at the wall, the stress is getting to him. He made his way away from the wall and moved down the corridor to the main entrance, all the soldiers were still moving about and changing directions back and forth until they seemed to finish what they wanted to. He brushed past most of the soldiers that were still in the corridor with urgency.

He saw that most of the soldiers were all down by the stairs almost all eighty of the soldiers still left here in the building were together, good that just leaves a few that he has to wait for that he pushed past just moments ago.

He saw through his stand that one of the soldiers already caught up to him and was going to try and get his attention.

'Best to let him get my attention first, most wouldn't know someone was just about to tap them.'

He felt the soldiers gloved hand tap on his left shoulder and slowly turned his head to acknowledge him.

"Yes soldier, do you require anything?"

'I assume he is on edge, more than likely he is going to ask what's going on currently, I can only assume.'

"Mr. Valentine Sir w-what's exactly going on right now?"

"Go down the stairs to the rest of the men, I'll explain it in just a few seconds, however I'd like to wait for the other few that are in the corridors to get themselves here before I explain anything. It's best to have the entire group around while explaining instead of having stragglers that didn't make it in time causing problems for other's in any situation we find ourselves in."

The soldier was quite meek and timid it seemed to him, but it looked like he had accepted the answer and command and walked down the stairs towards the rest of the soldiers. He looked behind himself once again and saw that the few remaining soldiers that presence were needed had already made it just seconds ago and were on their way to the stairs from the corridors and hallways.

The last few men had finally made their way down the stairs, a couple of them gave him a quick salute, one he made sure to return as they walked past him down the stairs to the large entrance room.

"Sir what's going on?"

"That is exactly what I have planned to tell each and every one of you right now soldier. I got word from some associates in Washington that there has been movement against America from a currently unknown nation. They weren't sure what their intent was at first but it became abundantly clear they are searching for something of immense value as they ravaged a few small communities out to the north and south east.

There's been over a couple dozen found mutilated in different ways and strewn across all of the land, like clothes lines within the areas, as well as large amounts of land dug up as if they were searching for something someone buried. Buildings of all sorts are in ruins from what I've been told items scattered about leading me to believe as well that they are searching for something valuable.

Whatever it is I don't know. However they are willing to act like and conduct themselves like rabid animals, so whatever it is they want it's best they don't get it, for if they act like this normally what would they be like once they acquire what ever they are searching for? They no longer have a reason to be as 'civil' as they are now."

Most of the soldiers face's were a mix of emotions, grief, anger, sadness, hate, disgust, anxious, there were some who were even retching, and some who almost vomited, at what he had described happened to those that were inhabiting these small areas of civilization.

"Something that adds even more to this current problem is that some of my personal guards and assistants have seemed to pinpoint where they are moving. One of my agents moved behind this group from a far for a few states and it seems based on what they are making their way directly for this building."

At this point at first he thought the soldiers were horrified just seconds ago, he saw he was dead wrong most of them were mortified as though thanatophobia had completely overtaken their minds, some faces turned a ghastly shade of pale. And this time a few did even vomit to the sides of themselves.

"S-sir what do you want us all to do? How large could this group possibly be?"

'They'll need motivation and hope, something that I have tried to give this Nation, my country an abundance of beyond what would ever be needed. I hope I can still instill that same hope in them once again.'

Right before he began talking again to his men he made sure to exert some of D.4.C.'s aura around, just enough to make others feel a weight to the air around them.

"What I need from all of you is to be a vanguard for this Nation of ours. You all know I've put my life on the line for this country before in the Civil War, I fought for the North so that my dream of freedom for all American's could come true. No matter your race, nationality, ethnicity, creed, or religion, as long as you put America and your fellow man above all else to keep America the great Nation it is you will always have a home in this land.

Many have went through hardships in this land this is true, but even if they are undeserved hardships we as American's still push onwards, because that is who we are, we fight for our traditions and our family, no matter what has happened to you there is always somewhere in our land where you will be loved and welcomed.

I look through all of you and I don't see you for your skin color or what you look like on the surface, I look at you all and I see the love a man can have for his Country. It is one of the most beautiful sights in this world. We were all created equal by God, and his love for us gave us this opportunity, to have a Nation united under their common love for their Country and God.

We stand tall together, united as one, and we shall never fall no matter how dark the times become, we will survive through one another. We will always strive together because of the bonds we have made, and we fight for the most integral traditions of this Nation and the World, family and God."

He looked around at them all once again, making sure to read each and every one of their expressions to see how they felt after his speech. He saw an abundant response of prideful facial expressions, it seemed he still had his way with words as always.

'Inspiration can take one far, I hope they are ready for what could happen next.'

"We're at your service sir!"

He looked at the soldier that proclaimed this and noticed it was the man named Mista, he remembered him from his interaction with them just a day or so earlier alongside Steven and Lucy. He hoped that this young man's enthusiasm would last with what he would require of them all.

"Men, it is important that you do exactly as I say. We are going to go out into the front yard, all of you are going to stay within the walled confines of the area, do not engage in close range fights unless you absolutely must.

Keep your guards up and your all your senses sharp, there's been some that said that those who infiltrated our land are more monster than man. Do not let that get to you, no matter what you witness.

Aim for the enemies heads they aim to do no different then that to us, if they won't listen to reason then we will speak through the only means they understand, violence.

Any who have a sharp aim take the back lines on higher ground on anything you can find, barrels, sacks, boxes, soil, those that can fire your rifle rapidly take the front lines, if there are any proficient in explosives and demolition take the side lines and try to pick off our enemies when and where you can. Maximize the amount of destruction you can cause to the enemies.

Any of you who are proficient in close quarters combat, if you should see your fellow man about to be engaged in melee combat take over that fight for them.

For those of you that have faith in the Lord, I suggest that you pray, for we very well might need it in this upcoming battle."

Quite a few soldiers actually started to pray at the advice of his last words, almost all of the soldiers except a couple dozen or so did so, those that didn't looked alarmed because of his serious tone at what he said, not at all expecting what he said to close up his directions and advice.

"Heavenly Father forgive me for my sins against you as I forgive those who sin against me, protect me from my own sin, and lead me to walk a better path in your hallowed name.

Father.

Son.

Holy Spirit.

Amen."

None of the soldiers expected that he would pray. It's best not to show weakness in the audience of those that you command in battle but at this point, he knew it took more strength to admit when you need help than to pretend you don't.

"Psst, hey Alex... look even the President's praying maybe we oughta do so, I know we ain't exactly the believen type but it can't hurt to try... right?"

'They should know that this isn't some panacea for any situation.'

He looked over at the soldier who was now quieting himself down after talking to his fellow countryman, and resolved to set the record straight.

"I hope you know that a prayer isn't a magical wish Soldier, it's a dialogue, a conversation between a person and God. It's where you openly reveal your feelings and talk to the Lord about your problems and how to fix them. Prayers of true need always are answered in God's own ways.

The Lord speaks through the world around us as well as those who live in it, he speaks as well through the Bible in a way of helping us understand.

Every prayer is answered in some way, even if it's in a way we don't like... God works on his time, not ours."

The soldier paled a bit at getting called out, at least it looked and seemed like that, good he was set straight. That should keep at least some problems from manifesting through that soldier for the time being.

"Follow me, we're heading out into the front courtyard, if there are any who think they have a better vantage from the windows or the roof, I suggest you make your way there if you are of sharp aim. You'll need to be proficient with every shot you take make them a killing blow, aim for the head or the spine in the neck. Take your time and make every last round count."

He saw about a dozen of the soldiers run up the stairs once again and file into different rooms facing towards the walled courtyard, as long as they are able to hit their targets and stay calm they should do well enough for his liking, that's the best he could hope for.

He made his way to the door and heard that the soldiers were following now, with the amount that are here he should at least give Lucy and Steven enough time to get far enough away.

He made it through the door and the soldiers filed out from behind him taking their own positions, there was nothing strange in the left side of the courtyard, or anywhere else in the courtyard guarded by the stone walled fence at least, D.4.C. hadn't made out anything for at least a thousand feet or so.

Some things seemed to move in the tree line in the swamps ahead past the rail road tracks, slowly he pulled his father's rifle and aimed at the tree line D.4.C.'s arm guiding the entire rifle unbeknownst to any of his soldiers, faster than any could see D.4.C. had loaded the rifle and phased it's right index finger into the barrel and flicked the bullet propelling it faster than any ammunition had a right to travel at.

He saw through his stands eyes the devastating damage that had been inflicted that no one else saw, the entire upper torso of a shambling corpse was utterly destroyed and splattered a red mist as though colored smoke was abound everywhere the creature once stood.

'These things are unnaturally durable from what I saw in the other world I was in... our weapons will likely stand no chance, I can't risk the soldiers finding out these things are supernatural, if any were to survive and let the information get out it would spell mass panic. I can't risk using the corpse as fast as I can get to New York all of the public would know about the supernatural and... even about the truth of the world eventually. I'll pass my decision when the time comes.'

"Tha Hell was that Mr. President! Ya shouldn't just randomly shoot like that!"

"He knows what he's doing man he was a soldier before he was ever a politician."

"I don't know about that Smith he did just randomly discharge his rifle while we were all running about."

Their petty bickering can wait they need to be focused.

"Men they're in the swamp and marsh tree line, take your positions, I can only hope we all stand as the defense we are for those of this land. Be on guard, any lanterns or things you can use to make light do so. Keep this entire area lit up, take cover in any area that gives you an advantage against any attackers.

This could last for a long time, we need to play this smart and collected, it's going to be a very bloody night."

Third Person P.O.V.

To say that none of the undead horde that moved about the swampy marshland expected one of them to suddenly burst into a cloud of mist would be an understatement. It's been weeks since the originators arrived in this lush world, in search for what their leader said they must find for all of Nazarick.

Quickly moving about a smaller girl in a beautiful black Victorian dress was a few bridesmaids all in tattered white dresses moving about at incredible speeds but with the elegance of a bird's flight.

The girl herself was no ordinary girl, she was one of the strongest servants of Nazarick, Shalltear Bloodfallen. Beautiful in appearance until someone breaks the allusion of her façade and reveal her for the vampire she is.

"Madam please stay out of sight, nothing's ever done that much damage to one of us before."

Though most of the bridesmaids doubted anything here could even harm their mistress from what they all have seen in their travels, it was still their purpose to protect her, even though they are much weaker than her.

The humans they came across so far however sadly wouldn't ever be able to tell the difference between their power since they died in the same gruesome way regardless, food for an army of never tiring creatures of the night.

The small Victorian themed girl simply glanced all of the bridesmaids over causing them all to look away with shame, Shalltear was clearly not happy with how they seemed to imply she should worry over anything in this new world.

Though most would be quick to remember something very important Ainz himself felt the power of the item in this new world utterly oppressing his entire existence, Ainz himself knew that whatever this artifact was is beyond any world class item that was ever in Yggdrasil or the current world he ended up in.

This is what lead entirely to this current situation, her being stuck in this swamp though Shalltear felt quite disgusted and appalled by her surroundings and current situation she would do anything for Lord Ainz

Shalltear quickly snapped back to the situation at hand however at remembering she needed to get the artifact for Ainz before she could be showered with praise from the one she loved so much, to a very one sided unbalanced degree unbeknownst to her at any moment of her life.

"Send some of the lesser dead in first. I want to see what fun I can have first, even as weak as the people in this new world are they deserve some courtesy. Some of the ones we've come across are quite pleasant to look at, though none can compare to Lord Ainz-Sama."

Shalltear drooled at the thought of her master, she held quite a one sided love for him, though Shalltear couldn't comprehend why Ainz had always denied her advances. It also surprised Shalltear that this world they found themselves in currently was even weaker than the New World where their Leader had explained they were stuck in.

It was too a point that even the undead she normally commanded with the proficiency of a professional chess player moving a piece across the board, she now delegated to her vampires brides. Though Shalltear normally was the one to control them she made sure the current dregs of the once living would listen to her concubines no matter what unless authorized not to by Shalltear herself.

From where Shalltear and her militia of the dead could see some of their entourage break off and run towards the bastion that Valentine had settled into making his first line of defense in the courtyard of his safehouse, these were quite weak creatures however not even being level 10 in Yggdrasil standards they were faster and stronger than any human could hope to be naturally.

They were but a bunch of undead citizens of America, and nothing more.

"Alright men ya heard what tha President said! Aim for their head or spine make these bastards stand down with their own language!"

John Gally had already given his order at seeing these people charge forward in raggedy clothes and almost looking like their skin itself was painted to be camouflaged for any grassy underbrush they came across.

THUNK

THUNK

THUNK

THUNK

THUNK

THUNK

Bullets ripped through the undead that had made their way not even halfway across the field in front of them just barely making it past the rail road tracks, a couple dozen laid strewn about like the soil they would now act as.

The Soldiers were starting to question themselves about what the President said about some saying they were creatures of supernatural origin, but Valentine had made it explicitly clear not to think that in any way, and it's for the best not to anger a man as calm as their commander in chief especially with the tone he took on when speaking to them all about it.

Valentine himself had a smirk that none of the soldiers had seen or caught onto, he was playing the game he knew better than any else. War, and a War that he didn't need to let morals stop his actions against those that threatened him, and thoughts already emerged that were beyond cruel and unusual.

"Everyone keep your positions, I'll take care of those inside that need protection. Keep the line and make sure none can break past your defenses, they want me out of the picture for some reason or another, this'll take some off of you all. Keep your wits about you."

Valentine made it apparent that he was going to take care of the innocents inside at least that's what he told the soldiers defending the courtyard, but that wasn't quite the full truth.

None of the men questioned him and just went about scouting out the areas around them that they could see, there weren't any more enemies that came from the marshy swamp that was surrounding the front of the courtyard. At least not currently.

The problem that they were now facing was what they could do in their current situation was 'How long do we have to defend the safehouse' not a very fun predicament in any sense for any of the soldiers that found themselves stuck in this current situation.

Mista was set up on a grassy bump of land that was within the courtyard near the safehouse itself with some boxes propping up his rifle to aim through the bars of wrought iron that were atop the stone walls surrounding them all. None of the soldiers had seen any of the opposing forces move forward since the last push when Valentine was present.

Though Mista himself was quite alarmed at the situation he found himself in with his fellow countrymen standing off against their current enemy, though none admitted that they felt unease at what Valentine had said about others views on what these people were. It already was getting to some of them all as Valentine left and no longer gave off a calming aura to those around.

It felt wrong, evil, unholy even the air itself felt as though it was smothering them with the night's darkness constricting their movement and ability to breathe.

As this was happening Shalltear already planned her next move.

"Alright my darlings I think playtime is starting, you should go make some friends amongst those boys up ahead. I think they'd like to meet you all since they turned down the ones we already sent ahead to have some fun. Go on ahead."

Shalltear was beginning to have fun with this endeavor, it seemed these humans were much more capable than the ones they had come across so far but that didn't mean she still wasn't a tiny bit disappointed that none of them could even entertain her for a tiny bit, though neither side are quite aware how much trouble the other can give them.

Valentine made himself useful to the situations that were now playing out, holding him to promises that he didn't expect to keep at least in his past life. Slowly making way through every hallway possible throughout the safehouse acting as a one man army to defend the inner sanctum of his bastion.

A king defending his kingdom in a sense.

Valentine's thoughts had drifted before and thought of what the other nations and countries of the world were going through every so often he would be ahead of his current area as though he had forgotten something moments before but wrote it off.

It only made his patrol that much easier, from room to room, door to door, the man was like a machine of order moving about and checking every room and leaving just as fast as he had made it to the area. Valentine hadn't noticed anything untoward happening so far so he brushed off some thoughts though that was unusual since Valentine rarely ever did such a thing.

Every door Valentine shut removed another way for the forces of the night to make their way in without noise, for every door shut a wall now replaced it where it once stood, one after another after another, forcing space to warp an alternate worlds area into the root one, as though painting a new vision of the current world, piece by piece reforming in the root world.

It was mostly a peaceful endeavor so far for Valentine, even still Valentine's Stand loomed over him like the stench of death lingered across a battlefield, a size threatening to almost any that would see it stand more than a meter taller than it's own user.

"None in this area of the building so far, at least it appears so for now. The soldiers should be able to hold them back long enough for me to set up my plans."

As Valentine walked throughout the building D.4.C. itself was still ever present acting as an extra precaution that Valentine had set up, should something make it's way inside the building it would meet a confusing end that it might never be able to comprehend.

As Valentine still made his way down the hallways of the building there was something he didn't notice, wherever D.4.C. walked a trail of small lights followed and slowly faded away.

It looked like a smaller version of Love Train's infinite barrier of light, slowly moving up and down at different intervals, only ever reaching a inch or two off the floor in height. Valentine wasn't aware but D.4.C.'s latent powers had begun to manifest in strange ways and meld more with the powers inherent to the Saint's Heart.

Holy Energy consecrated the very ground D.4.C. and Valentine walked upon! But Vanished slowly after.

This journey was far from over... for any side involved.

A few hours later

It was still night, darkness blanketing the skies outside. Valentine had replaced almost every room's door with a solid wall of cold brick and unfeeling metal, as though it was simply a dream and he commanded every single part of it physically.

A stance that held something unknown at the current moment in time, but might yet yield something in the future of this world.

Valentine had already made his way to his office some time ago, most were surprised at seeing their President suddenly appear without any wake of information from the soldiers.

"I'm sorry you all have to go through this but I can completely assure you everything is fine. We're experiencing some trying situations right now and I wished to make sure everyone here was doing well. I have a favor I need to ask of you all, I need you all to do it without question, it is very important you do so."

None so far responded to Valentine but look more or less skeptical, but still assumed to follow the leader of America's orders for the best outcome imaginable, Valentine raised but a single finger to motion them to wait and he slowly left the room.

As Valentine shut the door an American flag quickly draped over him and he traversed the brightly colored space that connected realities together searching for the right one to transport all of the citizens he currently had under his care, for Valentine as well it was as easy said as done.

Valentine found an alternate world where only he was inhabiting the building at the moment and slowly emerged from between a painting in his office.

Faster than a person could even process something mentally D.4.C. had switched to the alternate Valentine and back to the root one, giving all of Valentine's memories and ideas to the one in this new world.

Just as soon as that had happened Valentine had quickly made his way under the rug and vanished, taking him back to the root world exactly where he left.

From underneath an American flag, Valentine quickly emerged from the flag and stood up as fast as possible. Tucking the flag into his pocket and teleporting it to a gap in space where items could be stored.

Valentine opened the door once again and looked about the residents of his own office. Though Valentine wasn't entirely sure of his current plan. I think it might just work out for them all, so long as they listen to what Valentine says.

"I'm about to have you all go somewhere to be safe from our current situation, it's likely a twister or tornado is about to pass through, the safest place to be is underneath the ground level. It'll take but a second to get you all there but it'll be hard to see, trust me when I say you all will be fine but you must follow my lead. I need no responses from anyone of you, simply listen and follow my instructions. It's for the best."

Valentine went over to his desk at the far front right of the room and pretended to move some things around, though none of them but Valentine knew what he was doing was a façade, Valentine still felt some guilt for lying even if it was for the best of America and her people.

As Valentine made these fooling motions to convince the denizens inside his office that they were genuine actions, D.4.C. replaced the room underneath the one directly in front of Valentine with pure dirt from an alternate world.

D.4.C. used it's incomprehensible strength to push and mold the dirt into stairs of dirt compacted into being as hard as stones one could find layers under the earth! Though it only had six feet it could move in any direction while keeping it's strength as well as another four feet and three quarters it had just a bit over ten feet in a radius it could compact the dirt until Valentine would have to move closer.

Valentine quit the motions of his and moved towards the floor next to his desk, with D.4.C. itself using it's index finger like a knife cutting a piece of cake a layer of the wooden boards that were the floor of Valentine's office were pulled up and put to the side in the perfect geometrical shape of a rectangle five feet across and three in width.

Valentine put it up against the wall and made a motion to halt the denizens inside his office.

Valentine slowly descended the makeshift stairs D.4.C. had made and went further down towards where it had stopped, and just as fast as Valentine had gotten to the end D.4.C. had created already another ten feet of stairs.

This went on for only a dozen odd seconds until Valentine found that there was even less light.

Valentine was already thinking of where to pull them all and decided upon the secret passage way that Lucy and Steven had taken. Valentine made his way back up the stairs not a ounce of worry because of how compacted together D.4.C. had made all of the dirt and soil, it treated it like it was just snow to make a Snowman with.

Valentine emerged from the makeshift passage way and looked at all of the denizens once again.

"Turn off your lights, the disaster could hit at any moment and I'd rather none of you get burned by flames and torn apart by debris and wind. All of you hurry as well I want you as safe as possible before I get the men into a safe area too."

"Okay Sir, thank you for everything."

It was a small maid girl who had the courage to speak while no one else at all would say anything to Valentine. It was surprising who would be the bravest out of all of humanity when called upon isn't it.

Valentine looked at the girl and gave a charming smile, though it was quite dark she still saw it and blushed. Valentine was quite good at making other's feel special this was just another example of such a skill and talent with expressions instead of actions and words.

As soon as the denizens of the building blew out any form of light from candles to lanterns they went down the dark path one by one in a line.

They could barely see four feet in front of them, luckily going to Valentine's plan, which would make it that much easier to get them to the alternate world without any complications.

Valentine though stood at the front with an arm in front of the head of the line to make sure they wouldn't go to fast. No one could see except for Valentine and D.4.C. every time they took a step the front person in the line simply vanished, no one else could tell so Valentine was safe from scrutiny.

Luckily the plan worked out, little by little everyone got teleported to the alternate world that Valentine found that was perfect for this current plan. They only had about six feet of space between them so it was just enough that when standing up most would seem to be between two objects, allowing D.4.C. to transport them.

Valentine re-emerged from the makeshift passage way D.4.C. had made and resolved on the next course of actions he would take, a way to get the soldiers to the alternate world as well.

"This'll be harder than I thought it to be sadly."

Little by little the soldiers that stayed in the building for better shots were vanishing as though they were never there. No one noticed this at first but it eventually caught up to all of the soldiers posted outside once they glanced up to the second story windows.

Panic was starting to run amuck bit by bit as some soldiers began to have breakdowns because of this only a handful or so, but that didn't help any of the others morale in this situation.

"Get a hold a yerself men! We ain't gonna get outta this if y'all keep acting like this! We're fightin for innocents damnit!"

John Gally himself surely had enough of this and made it known to all the men who were still in the front courtyard, it shaped up some of the ones panicking though for the moment.

He could be crude but all the men here saw him as a second father and loved him dearly even those that outranked him saw him as their superior, so it helped quite a bit for him to be the voice of reason.

Mista was still as a sleeping mouse on the grassy area he had gone prone on and had boxes supporting his aim, still looking into the dead of the marshy swamp that the soldiers enemies came barreling out from.

A piercing shriek came from the marshy swamp that caught all of the soldiers attention.

All of the soldiers eyes were nailed to the marshland swamp once again at hearing something that sounded like a demon, not willing to be taken of guard by whatever the Hell these bastards would throw at them next. They already had lost near thirty men in the last bout against what looked like just women about to get married.

But they moved faster than any horse or other way of transportation the men had ever seen, many didn't care at this point about what the President had said these things were not human in any way shape or form.

The only reason the creatures were even able to be taken down was because of the Sappers and Grenadiers that threw out explosive ordnance whenever they could, most of the area in front of the courtyard was on fire for quite some time now.

All of the soldiers that excelled in close quarters combat were dead, being eviscerated by the womanly looking creatures that currently besieged them.

There was only about thirty men left after the dozen that were posted up in the windows vanished.

The silence was becoming deafening for every man that stood in that courtyard, it was beginning to look like this was Hell itself at this point for all of them, to be emasculated and torn down in every which way by their enemies and completely unable to defend the land they owed their lives to and to defend those that they loved and cared for, every man here regardless of race or religion were brothers once they entered the military whether they liked it or not.

And they they were truly all equal in every way, they couldn't protect what they loved anymore. Their one job, their one objective couldn't be completed.

All of their eyes were glued to the marshland swamp out of fear, terror, anger, hate, spite, every raw emotion possible that fueled in this current moment. Though none knew where to move or go at this point, stricken with fear and terror of what could possibly of made that unholy noise.

Whoosh!

Without any of the soldiers noticing one of the men vanished into thin air, leaving nothing but smoke where the man once stood. Bit by bit this smog like smoke enveloped the courtyard bit by bit like the sea flooding the land and covering it in a new ecosystem.

Mista however noticed this and quickly made it out of the smoke that was now covering the back lines and that was now engrossing other areas of the courtyard.

ゴゴゴゴ

"Guys! Something's happening around us! Group together no one is coming out of the fog, hurry up this stuff doesn't seem alright!"

Mista ran towards the front line and gathered around the soldiers near John Gally, and just as Mista had said none of the other soldiers that were once in the area where the smoke had taken over had emerged from it what so ever.

Most of the soldiers were apprehensive of what Mista was spewing out right in the moment but they quickly saw that Mista was not just overreacting, there was real fear etched onto Mista's face as he stared at the smoke that was quickly approaching them.

"Men stand ta gether we ain't gonna be caught off guard by no damn tricks from these bastards! Stay on guard!"

John Gally was still trying his best to keep the soldiers focused and as calm as verifiable possible.

Crack!

Smoke suddenly billowed out from between the soldiers all huddled together, enveloping the men that were huddled around.

"Ahhh!"

A scream came from one of the men, it caused some of the soldiers to panic and scramble about the foggy Hell they were now stuck in. More screams echoed throughout the courtyard and surrounding areas.

Just as quickly the screams vanished suddenly as though they were to become mute right as they used their voices to express their terror.

The straggling Soldiers that were still running about were quickly stopped by some unseen force.

This was quite interesting to Shalltear and her posse of concubines, Shalltear herself was quite confused as to what had just happened over in the courtyard of the opulent building she once saw perfectly fine in the darkness of the night, but that now billowed out smoke as though that's all that was ever there.

Shalltear could barely make out anything through the smoke that now covered the safehouse. No noises, nothing at all came from the smoke, as though some primeval event had just occurred that wiped out all known life within that area.

"Well this is quite strange, I didn't think anything quite like this would of happened? I wonder what might of caused this event. Perhaps there is still more interesting things in this world."

Shalltear and her group of the undead made their way carefully over to the obscured safehouse, making sure not to make any noise whenever possible as they moved along the murky blanket of the darkness of the night.

The group managed quite easily to stay as quiet as possible not making any noise audible to the ear of a man, then again they weren't dealing with any normal man in almost any sense of the word.

It seemed that Shalltear's group was safe for now from their perspective as they stalked about the perimeter of the stone wall fence that surrounded the safehouse that wafted out the smoke over even the tall stone fence walls.

Though they couldn't see well throughout all of the current obstructions to vision the undead could still quite easily feel around the area they now moved throughout.

Shalltear was already ahead of every other member of her group at the moment being just a few meters away from the safehouse doors. Slowly the group crept their way to where Shalltear now stood, feeling around to make their way to her without any incidents.

Shalltear had already made it fully to the door by the time the rest of her posse had got to the threshold of the house.

unbeknownst to Shalltear, she was slowly falling into a plan that Valentine had already set in motion since the soldiers were put into their positions, one that Shalltear had no choice but to fall in line for.

The building was empty in almost every way from the perspective of Shalltear. She made her way around the front hall looking around here and there, though there wasn't much to Shalltear's eyes there was a set of pink sectioned eyes looking about the where she inhabited.

Every move Shalltear made was relayed to Valentine's thoughts and memory, as though he was right where Shalltear wandered about.

She spotted all of the beautiful items and décor that filled the hall, paintings, lamps, tables, chairs. Every single thing held some sort of fine craftmanship that Valentine had bought and collected over the years and put about in the new building.

Shalltear wasn't breath taken or anything of the sort but she was very impressed and felt a small sense of awe looking about, she slowly traced her fingers over a vase that was atop one of the legion of tables that were laid about in the main hall.

Valentine spared no expense and Shalltear found that out as her fingers brushed the gold coiled around the vase, it was indeed real genuine gold, and it was but one of a collection of hundreds all the same that were inside the building.

"This isn't anywhere near as opulent as Nazarick, but I've never seen this much gold embellished into something outside of the great tomb, whoever owns this place must be important, I wonder if they'll be able to play with me."

Shalltear felt that there would surely be a person who commanded power that owned this building not even the kingdoms that she knew of in the new world had this much gold to just throw wherever they so pleased.

Unknown to her most of the things that decorated the building were gifts from other foreign leaders to Valentine, he only bought a handful out of the many items that decorated the newly commissioned building.

Shalltear just might meet someone that could be very interesting.

Shalltear's maids wandered about flocking somewhat around her, looking at everything that was decorating the main hall as well. Though unlike their mistress they were awe struck seeing the amount of decadent items that were on show throughout their general vicinity. They dared not touch anything as they saw that their Mistress was doing that, and they feared what would happen should they interrupt her or break anything she might be interested in.

Cree-ak!

The entire group was caught off guard as they heard a loud creak from the second floor of the building. They were alert to anything that might happen upon them at a moment's notice now.

Shalltear could sense the heartbeat of something living in the far back of the second floor, it looked like she had a new target.

Valentine was reading through a very old book lettered in Greek, it was a relic in every way well over 1700 years old, Valentine took quite the time to learn Greek just to read this book.

Before Valentine could continue his reading session however he was interrupted by the sound of the office door creaking open.

"Please do knock next time you wish to see me, I was quite engrossed in my book. Though I'm more than happy to talk with anyone should they wish I'd rather not be interrupted while reading. I very rarely get to indulge in my own hobbies nowadays. With power come's responsibility as the saying goes."

Valentine never looked up, luckily for Shalltear's maids as they were getting quite an earful from their mistress due to being so careless with opening the door and alerting the man inside.

They didn't need to have this situation be seen and cause them even more embarrassment.

Valentine took a gloved hand and carefully put the ancient book back down upon his office desk, he crossed his left leg over his right knee and laid his hands upon his knee as he waited for the guests that just arrived to enter the room.

The maids entered one by one in a line like when a royal ceremony introduces someone of high standing, Valentine had seen a carbon copy of these maids before, luckily for the situation his eyes didn't portray that.

Shalltear slowly made her way into the room gracefully walking as to not make a single noise much like how Valentine made no noise either while moving around. Valentine was quite surprised there stood a elegant young woman that was dressed in Victorian style clothing that he has only ever seen in Britain.

She tilted her parasol to the left and smiled as she looked upon Valentine taking quite a calm stance to one she didn't know had as much authority as the one she served the very whim of.

"I wasn't aware I would be talking with royalty today. Then again most of the royals have been visiting me this past month, I suppose the event was a success since every country enjoyed it, sorry about thinking a loud it's just been a strange month.

To what do I owe the pleasure of having a conversation with royalty such as yourself Ma'am."

Valentine was going to play this out as carefully as possible for the current moment.

Unknown to Valentine, Shalltear held the idea as well though to a much lesser extent.

"I stumbled upon this building with my maids as we were traversing the countryside. I didn't see anyone here so I decided to try and seek shelter inside the building and it opened, it's that simple Sir."

Shalltear put on quite a convincing pout as she looked at Valentine trying to fool him into a false sense of security, though he was already well aware of the situation at hand.

Though you wouldn't be able to tell that because at this point his face was as unmoving as the cold stones that laid underneath the sea.

The maids hadn't reacted yet to anything either not willing to get reprimanded by their mistress once again, lest it be even worse than earlier before. The thought almost made them shiver.

"That's quite a strange thing to do on any property you find yourself upon, to just barge in and do as you wish. Nevermind that though seeing as you do look quite lost. Before we continue any further I would like to ask if you would like anything to drink, I'm sorry for not asking earlier, that was quite rude of me. It's always the hosts task to take care of their guests, I'm sure you agree. I don't have any tea or coffee but I do have a wide selection of different wine, whiskey, and other drinks such as those, I'm sorry for my lack of non alcoholic drinks."

Valentine quit speaking and looked at Shalltear with calm eyes that mirrored the color of the pacific ocean.

"The other's that were stationed here were meant to take a train, I heard some commotion earlier but it was probably the common antics of kindred spirits having fun. They're probably already on their way to their new stations. I haven't had any maids or butlers here for quite some time either, hence the lack of other drinks and of course food as well."

Shalltear was flabbergasted that this man didn't hear any of the commotion, she was still quite happy however because this made making allies in this new world easier, though she and her posse hadn't quite done that approach yet due to the more country-side welcoming that some areas have given, they've even come across some cannibals in their travels, which should speak to the style of welcome they have had in America.

"Oh, I hope I'm not troubling you currently Sir. I'm quite thankful for your hospitality. I hate to ask even more but yes, I would adore some red wine, it's been weeks since I last had any and I really do miss the taste of it."

Shalltear was keeping up her façade quite well, she found this man quite interesting, he was quite nice on the eyes as well too, but of course he still paled in comparison to her Lord Ainz-sama.

With that thought she caught herself before she could drool at the thought of her master, it would be quite unbecoming of one such as her when she was trying to gain allies and a foothold in this new world.

"Of course, it's no worry, like I said it's always the hosts task to take good care of their guests, as a leader of a nation I've learned this quite well over the years. It's always best to make friends and not enemies, that's my thought process at least.

It's better if you have to choose only one aspect to be loved as a ruler than to be feared as one."

Valentine got up from his wooden chair and made his way over to the cabinet that he stored all of his drinks inside, he moved passed many bottles until he found an unmarked bottle of red wine and took it into his hand and closed the cabinet with the other.

He opened the compartment on the side and took out two wine glasses.

Valentine slowly walked towards the coffee table that was right in front of the couch that the girl he was currently entertaining was sat in. He poured each one of them a glass and sat down in a chair opposite of the couch with glass in hand and made himself comfortable as he waited for his guest to take her glass from atop the table.

"I'm not sure I'd agree with your statement Sir. Fear is a much better motivator than love as a leader. It's always best to have both, to be loved and feared, a perfect balance make's for an even better era of peace than one who only has one. Though if I had to choose I would choose to be feared, it would scare off any opposition from ever coming close."

Shalltear gave a smirk that made her seem quite conceited as she leaned over to take the wine glass off the table and went to take a drink. However as soon as Shalltear put the glass against her lips as the fine ruby liquid entered her mouth she couldn't taste it at all, as though she had already emptied her glass in a drunken haze.

She had quite a perplexed look upon her face as she looked at the glass and saw that there was the same amount that there was before as though nothing ever left the glass.

"Is something the matter Ma'am? Is your drink alright, I can get something else from my cabinet if there's something wrong with your drink, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm quite worried seeing that look on your face."

Valentine gave a very light look of downtrodden concern on his face just barely there but enough to tell that he was indeed concerned, on the outside at least. For his true feelings he couldn't care less about her confusion, he was the cause of it after all. If he was by himself he would of even been chuckling at Shalltear's perceived perplexation.

"No everything's alright Sir. I just wasn't quite prepared for the kick this wine had to it I've never had something quite like it before, I'm sorry if I concerned you there's no issues you don't have to worry about me."

Shalltear once again and went to take a sip from the glass and this time she did taste the wine. It was quite nice, not to dry, not to sweet a perfect balance of both, it had barely any aftertaste as well.

She was surprised by how excellent the taste was, it was better than anything that Sous had made at his bar on the 9th floor, which was quite an accomplishment.

"Where did you get such an amazing wine Sir? I must know."

Shalltear was honestly interested and wished to know where she could 'buy' some more of this exquisite wine that she had just tasted.

Valentine gave an honest smile at this and shifted his position to positioning his right ankle to his left knee and set his glass between the crevice in his lap making sure it wouldn't spill a single bit.

"That my dear is a fond memory of mine a childhood friend of mine produces most of the wine I buy, he moved back to his home country of Italy years ago and he ships me specially made variations of the wine he sells to the public. He's owned a vineyard for quite some time now I'd say around twenty or thirty years now. It's been some time since I've seen Solido, I should pay for a trip for him to come visit. I've heard the wine business is quite cutthroat right now from the last letter he sent me, could do him some good to get out more."

Shalltear was content with the man's answer, though a couple questions lingered in her mind, he was a leader but of how many people, and if the area this man's friend has owned for twenty to thirty years how old is the man she is speaking to, because he looks no older than twenty five. He could be something else besides human, if he's older than she thinks.

"I'm sorry that I never introduced myself to you Sir, my name is Shalltear Bloodfallen. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise, Miss Bloodfallen, my name is Funny Valentine. I'm sorry that I too forgot to introduce myself. We both have quite... unusual names... I'd assume you'd agree with that thought, I suppose we're two leaves of the same tree in a sense."

Shalltear nodded her head affirming what Valentine had said to her. She motioned to put her glass down, and begun to speak once again to Valentine.

"I do have a few questions to ask Mr. Valentine if you wouldn't mind entertaining me for a while."

Valentine took another sip from his glass of red wine and nestled it back between his legs once again as he put his left palm right underneath his jaw to rest it upon his hand.

"I see no harm in answering your questions Miss Bloodfallen, ask away at your own discretion. I'm an open book for the most part you could say."

Shalltear felt that this would be her best opportunity to get a foothold in the new world, though Valentine was playing with a poker face that no one could tell was there. Shalltear might of just changed how this entire situation would play out with the next questions she might ask.

"How old are you exactly, you said your friend has been gone for twenty to thirty years but that would mean you could of only known him for a little while."

A smirk grew on Valentine's face though on the inside he knew she had somewhat dampened the chances of an alliance.

"I'm forty eight years old. It's quite strange that you weren't aware of my age considering I'm among the younger president's of America, almost the entire world knows this. From the looks of your dress as well I assume your from Britain, I'm quite liked by everyone there as well, so it's odd that you didn't know my name either."

Shalltear's maids who were quiet as ever, were enraged at the audacity of this 'Valentine' to ridicule their mistress with such a condescending tone, they stayed their hands, at least for now.

Shalltear as well was quite angered with how Valentine spoke to her though she was at a loss for words, because Valentine was nearly double the age she thought he was, and now that Valentine pulled the curtain on all of the basic knowledge she didn't have it was quite irritating to her.

Luckily it wasn't showing just yet.

"I'm sorry Mr. Valentine I don't get out very much the current happenings of the world don't get to me quite often in my home. I hope I don't come off as foolish or idiotic."

Valentine wasn't quite in the right state of mind to continue this, he knew he had to get these things out of his building, it would be suspicious for him to allow someone who knew nothing about such an important piece of information and one that is common knowledge.

"I would say it's fine but I'm afraid it's not, I believe it's time for you and your group to take your leave. Something strange is going on with all of you and I'd rather this situation be promptly over with. I don't feel quite comfortable in this meeting of ours. I assume you can take yourself out, I'd like to get back to reading and I only have so much time for myself.

Some that I even graciously spent on allowing you to have."

Valentine got out of his chair and put his wine glass down upon the table and went to turn to make his way over to his desk to read his book once again. However as soon as Valentine turned one of Shalltear's maids came hurtling after him at breakneck speeds!

CRUU-UNCH!

Unseen to many the fist of D.4.C. jabbed the maid in the face like a meteor striking the earth! Where once stood a complete person a headless monster stood with it's organic makeup now painting the walls of the office all around.

The carpet suddenly lifted and a dress matching the maids was now ripped into thin air and thrown at one of the other six that now remained after what seemed to be nothing hit the maid that went after Valentine.

Slice!

Slice!

Slice!

One of the maids used her sharpened claws to shred the dress like a butcher cuts meat, but this was a grave mistake as soon as the maid cut up the dress as she momentarily stopped it sailing through the air, a strong force was felt on her as she was pulled closer to the dress.

Schlick.

Kerthunk.

Piece by piece this dress merged with the one the maid wore as it broke itself into a perfectly square and infinite geometric shape of a menger sponge unseen to the offending party.

Before their very eyes the maid exploded into nothingness as this effect took place.

Craa-ack.

Another maid met a new gruesome fate, she was sent sailing through through the back wall of the office as though demon possessed a trail of red following after like a flowing ribbon.

Cru-unch.

A sickening sound echoed throughout the office as the spine of a maid was pulled out and launched into it's very owner, the force obliterating the spine and the maid as she screamed bloody mercy abruptly stopping her and turning her into nothing more than another form of paint in Valentine's office.

"Enough of this!"

Shalltear's calm demeanor finally broke as bloodlust almost overtook her with the blood that now covered her she moved to the side of the room as fast as she could

"Purifying Lance!"

A bright white blue lance that flickered was thrown from Shalltears petite hand and directly at Valentine! A loud noise like that of an object falling into concrete was heard as it pierced Valentine in his midsection.

"WHAT!"

Valentine stood with his hand holding his left cheek bone and looked onto Shalltear and her maids with eyes that betokened utter ire for what they now looked upon, and as those eyes bore into the visiting Denizens of Nazarick, they could only look on in horror as what seemed to be a normal human man stood without any pain or apparent discomfort at a large gaping hole now centered right where Shalltears Purifying Lance pierced him.

"Dojyaaa~~~n!"

Valentine's signature catchphrase wasn't as cheerly or light as it normally was it was instead said with his deep voice that was accompanied by an Indiana accent.

"Well that caught me quite off guard, though I am quite upset... you are quite an interesting man..."

Valentine let a scowl grow on his face as he looked upon Shalltear and let his hand move underneath his chin, his eyes still a sea of anger and ire.

"I would suggest you all leave. I'm doing none of this I'm afraid my personal guard is quite upset with you and your compatriots. I don't have much control over their current actions. They are just reacting to the situation and doing their job, that is to protect me."

Throom!

The bright blue flickering lance once more entered the scene! But this time it wasn't from Shalltears hand, it came barreling out from the hole inside Valentine's midsection, his body was fully intact once again though Shalltear didn't notice that now because of her skill now launching itself at one of her maids.

Rii-iipp

The lance of holy magic utterly decimated her subordinate, with just a corpse that was blistering away to the holy magic she had intended for Valentine.

Krakoom!

The last maid was blown away by such a force that the noise was akin to lightning striking mere centimeters away from someone, the noise completely deafened both Valentine and Shalltear as red mist now briefly stayed where her final maid once was.

Shalltear was filled with only indignation for this man named Valentine at this point, whoever defended this man was at fault and Valentine was as well, she couldn't stand for this any longer.

"I was hoping I could make Lord Ainz-Sama proud by getting him allies in this new world to find what he is looking for, but alas everyone here is too primitive and barbaric to reason with. Oh well, I can always find someone else to help us. Playtimes over Mr. Valentine, it was fun while it lasted Lord Ainz-Sama might've even liked you."

"Force Explosion!"

Shalltear unleashed a shockwave of powerful energy towards Valentine who simply looked onwards without a care in the world, except for his eyes that shone an oceanic blue that bubbled up like they were boiling.

Krakoom!

Where Valentine once stood was nothing but his clothes that he was wearing during the time he spoke with Shalltear, every single article of clothes was on the floor of the office.

The shockwave hit the front office wall utterly destroying the wall and leaving a trail of destruction that went on for three rooms ahead.

Shalltear was not quite fooled however, she knew something happened to Valentine that she wasn't the cause of. If he had gotten hit by her Spell he would of been torn apart by the gust of energy that was sent sailing towards him.

She looked around every where she could in the office just waiting for Valentine to pop up but he never did.

Shalltear was still on edge and carefully made her way towards Valentines discarded articles.

Cra-ack!

"AAAAAAHHHH!"

Shalltear fell backwards and cradled her left foot as she held onto it and herself moving back and forth as a searing pain was felt throughout her entire left leg. As she winced through the pain, Shalltear saw that she was holding the stump of her foot.

Only a bit of the heel and ankle were left, and right at the area beneath the shin and where her foot would of been there was a v shaped concave into her skin.

"REGENERATE!"

Shalltear yelled aloud one of her lower tier healing spells, though she could of used Greater Lethal she didn't want to waste her MP in this situation.

Though even then if she knew just what hit her, she would of known no magic of any tier, even super, could never regenerate her foot.

Shalltear was still rocking herself on the ground as the rug began to rise in size and something pushed itself from underneath it. What she saw next was quite disconcerting.

Valentine was emerging from the rug as though he was always there, and moved without making a single noise. Not even breathing, no creaks from the wooden floorboards, no sounds of the underside of the rug rubbing against his hair or skin.

He just slowly emerged without any sound, moving like how a tiger or lion would stalk it's prey, and whence he made it halfway from underneath the rug she noticed he was fully naked.

Shalltear was now not just furious but repelled and terrified to an extent as well, this man very well might try and have his way with her. She wasn't one for that however.

"VERMILLION NOVA!"

Valentine still was only halfway from underneath the rug as Shalltear screamed out her spell, Valentine had seen this many times before someone attacked and he didn't plan on getting hit by whatever this magic was.

As the flames started to come to life around Valentine he was dragged back underneath the carpet like the boogeyman dragging a kid underneath the bed in a tale to teach children to behave.

The pillar of flames had incinerated almost the entire office and destroyed the roof and torched the lower level underneath the office in a circular shape.

Shalltear knew she had to make it out of here before Valentine came back as she made her way off the ground and hobbled herself up onto her one good foot and the almost stump that was her left foot.

She didn't care about attacking Valentine at this point all she cared about was getting away from this strange area that had defied her and her magic multiple times.

As Shalltear made haste towards the broken wall that her maid had went sailing through like an arrow from a bow that now lead to the consuming darkness of the night, she made a horrendously deceiving mistake.

She dropped her awareness for just a second.

Kra-koooom!

From an outside perspective it looked like gravity itself had decided to affix itself to Shalltear and a far off place with how fast she went hurtling down wind, as though she had plummeted from out of space and into Earth's atmosphere.

From Shalltears perspective it was nothing but unbearable pain. Worse even than she received in her fight against Lord Ainz, as well as blurred shades of black, green, white, and brown all mixing into streaks of mixed colors as she sailed in the air for a dozen odd seconds.

However from Valentine's perspective it was naught but a punch from his stand as he looked on through a gap in space at the girl was sent off like a hawk diving for prey.

"This'll be much harder than I could of anticipated..."

Valentine knew he couldn't take a single hit from Shalltear or he would die. Though she was not nearly as strong as Diego's THE WORLD or either one of Joestar's or Zeppeli's stands she would still be able to crush he himself easily if she caught him off guard.

Though Valentine felt a certain relief, even a single part of the corpse could cause mass devastation across entire civilizations, and he held perhaps the most potent of all the parts... the heart.

D.4.C. was already substantially stronger than any other stand he had fought physically, the heart only boosted it to greater heights.

"This'll be a war of attrition. I have no other goal... except to win this war. I'm the first and last line of defense. Once this abomination is taken care of I'll have to plan ahead. America might very well be the last stronghold of humanity."

Shalltear had landed against the slimy mud that covered miles of the land surrounding around her. It looked as though a meteorite had collided with the land leaving only a massive crater and devastation all around the area.

Trees uprooted.

Stone and rock reduced to a chalky rubble.

Different places lit aflame.

As though the Horseman of War had declared it to be the end times, the final hour of the world.

"Ugghhh, what attacked me? The force behind it..."

As she laid in the crater of mud, Shalltear felt something that rarely ever affected her, anxiousness. The anxiety that whatever Valentine had protecting him, was more than she bargained for, when coming to a world where the norm was things that resided under the level of 5 back in Yggdrasil.

To be attacked with such power, it would rival and maybe even surpass some World Enemies attacks.

Even when fighting Lord Ainz-sama she wasn't ever hit with as much force as she was now, sadly for her she fell for Valentines words. She believed that he had no connection to this thing in any way except for being it's superior.

Killing Valentine wouldn't stop it, she couldn't even sense it before, it was like it wasn't even there.

In this situation it was best for one to strategize and overcome the weakness that had cost you the last fight.

She couldn't see it.

She couldn't feel it until it attacked her.

It wasn't attached to Valentine.

It was fast.

It was strong.

It defends Valentine of it's own volition.

She knew she'd have to use Summon Household, with her foot not healing what so ever and her own Regenerate spell and regular regeneration already patching her up to the best state she could be in.

It wasn't likely she could move around like normal with just one working foot.

Whatever attacked her would be coming back... and it would be to protect it's master.

It had just turned very personal.

The sky was still as dark as ever, only the Moon lighting up the land in unpopulated areas as though painting it all with a light coat of paint. Stars still glistening in the ever present beautiful cosmos a testament to the beauty of creation as though reality was waiting for this very night to partake in the events that were now happening.

The True Vampire hovering above the ground with wings like that of some eldritch demon that came from Hell, with wolves the size of horses, bats and all sorts of vampiric creatures loitered about around her.

A strange lance in one hand as she was covered in a beautiful red armor covering all but her face. Another pair of wings protruding from her as well, contrasting with the pair that looked as though they were born in Hell, these looked as though they were born in an Elysian Heaven a paradise diametrically opposed to Hell in every way.

This Army of Darkness stood watch ever faithfully over their queen like she was Snow White and they the Seven Dwarfs.

Shalltear was waiting, and waiting, for the one that would try and strike her down. On edge knowing that she could be hurt almost fatally in less than the blink of an eye. She held many advantages to those that inhabited this world to her knowledge.

But to a Stand User? Those mattered very little, especially when the Stand was near the Apex of all Stands.

Just a a minute away from Shalltear, Valentine wandered through the tree filled swampland that was the backwoods of Alabama. Moving through the mucky marsh land that drenched and ruined his fine tailored clothes.

Slosh

Slosh

Slosh

Repeatedly that noise was made as the mucky marsh slowly devoured his legs up and past his thighs as he picked one foot after the other and marched on through this disgusting slop that surrounded him on all sides.

Hidden by a hill that sloped down towards him. D.4.C. hovered above every now and then acting as a lookout for the current president of The United States of America.

"Huh... enough of this. This'll only end the way I wish if I face it here and now."

As much as Valentine hated to dirty himself with anything of the outside world he would begrudgingly take any action he must to ensure his victory. The President submerged himself into the murky sludge that was the marshland.

The sounds of moist dirt and mud being pushed and moved came from beneath the ground as though the dead came back to life and clawed their way out of the grave.

And thus arose the Patriotic President unlike no other. Though he now looked like a creature made of mud and dirt with all of the earthly makings now covering him like a suit of armor.

He was a couple hundred meters behind Shalltear, this would be the best scenario for him in the current circumstance. He moved with an elegance though still being enveloped in the slimy product of the marsh and dirt.

...

...

...

Every step that was taken made no noise, as though he was never moving at all. Though the steps quickly evolved into something else.

Shwoo

It was as if Valentine teleported, vanishing in one point in space to suddenly reappear in another instantaneously. It was confusing, seeing this man vanish and reappear out of thin air like a magician pulling a rose right out of his hands only to vanish right before your eyes as he takes it from behind your ear.

Valentine went to take another step just around fifty meters away from Shalltear at the present moment, until a scream cut him off.

"PARALYSIS!"

"Well the wayward gentleman returns. I was quite unhappy with how you treated me earlier Mr. Valentine. As a host weren't you supposed to be nicer to me? I am your guest after all."

Shalltear had a smile on her lips as she looked on at Valentine who was now as still as a marble statue, it brightened her smile even more at the glee of seeing him in quite a embarrassing situation.

Completely covered in mud and filth, ruining his hair as well as elegant clothes.

None of the Elder Vampire Bats, Vampire Wolfs, or Vampire Bat Swarms moved, sensing their mistress's want to tease this thing further.

Shalltear moved forward hovering off the ground ever so slightly, making her stump of a foot a non factor now. Not a single bit of the earth touched her except for the air itself, and the pale light of the moon.

"What's the matter Mr. Valentine? Are you afraid of little old me? Didn't you say you're a leader? Shouldn't you be brave in the face of adversary? Or is it perhaps your theory of it better to be loved than feared, was wrong?"

All Shalltear got in response was a sigh that escaped from Valentine's mouth.

Shalltear's smile was broken a bit at the President's response, it was rare that any treated her with such a lack of respect and fear. She'd killed more humans than she could count. She defeated legendary warriors that attempted to raid Nazarick back in Yggdrasil and here this man who from his own words had no power except for some strange protector.

Disregarded her? Like she was nothing?

"You should be treating me with respect Mr. Valentine. After all I've done the same for you, even with you being the weak insignificant ant that you are."

This time Valentine actually dignified her with a response, much to his own irritation.

"I'm sorry for my lack of manners but I'm afraid I can't quite use them for something that has no idea of what the word means. This ballet of ours has me quite exhausted as well, I don't quite have the same stamina as an atrocity and insult to God."

"You Ins-"

Valentine interrupted Shalltear right as she was about to assault him with a long list of nothings that he didn't care about in the slightest.

"Oh please girl, spare me the oh so practiced and rudimentary condescending attitude and speech. I'm quite over it. You are by far one of the most unpleasant things I've ever had the displeasure of interacting or dealing with.

I've had to deal with a great many problems throughout my years, political rivals, politics, assassins, espionage, diplomacy, and peace talks with some of the most violent and inhumane people in the world."

Valentine could do naught to move but did his best to keep his cards hidden much like Shalltear was doing.

"I've even wandered for days in a desert without food or water, slowly dying as the sun beat down upon me like fire upon the hills of a pillaged town. Yet even those are nothing compared to you, and the utter disgust you instill in me."

Shalltear's veil of elegance and politeness were almost broken as Valentine continued to assault her with words in only a way a politician was able to.

"I'm quite tired of this 'game' you're playing with me. From what I can tell you're not of this world or realm I suppose. Call it an educated guess if you will. But you could also of been sent by Japan. Though I can only put that up as an idea due to the fact of your use of a Japanese honorific. This Ainz of yours... if you are anything to base him off...

Can only be more of a disgusting, depraved, iniquitous, reprobate than you are."

Shalltear was almost shaking with anger at this point, she was trying to keep her cool like she had been taught by Lord Ainz-Sama and even other Floor Guardians. Her body was heaving slowly, but as unstable as a decaying bridge. Valentine was getting the exact reaction that he wanted.

To argue against a politician is a certain verbal demise, even more so when it's one who knows exactly what to say to rile someone up.

Valentine still couldn't move, though at any second he would be able to if this all went perfectly.

"What? No more words to use, have you exhausted your entire vocabulary? I thought you to be royalty? Though it seems you have nowhere near as many words in your repertoire as they do. You do have something in common besides your clothing and way of speech..."

Valentine was attempting to have his words sink in first, before he continued on. Trying to add more weight to his next thoughts by doing so.

"You're just as disgustingly pompous as any royal. Your head seems to be as hollow as any that I've had the displeasure to speak with too. You're just about as self absorbed as they are too."

"AGGGGGHHHHHHHH."

Shalltear's scream had already foretold her attack as she rocketed through the air with her four wings of opposing realms, lance at the ready to pierce the President's heart in less than a moment, her army of the night close behind her.

Shwoo

Thud!

The lance connected with the muddy dirt cratering it as the force destroyed a bit of the area. Stuck in the mud like Excalibur in the stone. Shalltear's blind rage that consumed her wore off as she realized Valentine was nowhere to be found, as though he vanished.

Crack!

As soon as Shalltear turned she saw that more than a dozen wolves were utterly decimated. Clean slices going completely through their bodies as though an executioner had pardoned their two halves from one another.

"I'm getting quite tired of all of this you vile atrocity. I hope I never see you set foot on my America again, though I doubt I'll see you after my guard finishes you off."

As soon as Valentine spoke once again, the horde swiftly went after him as though he were a toy that was just thrown. Bats the size of dogs barreled down upon Valentine like carrion birds on a corpse.

The hand of D.4.C. sliced back and forth faster than one could see! Five dead! Twenty dead! Fifty dead! The blazing hand that was D.4.C. was like a finely sharpened knife! Back and forth, left to right! As though it was tracing something in the sand of a beach off the east coast.

"Huh, I suppose I shouldn't of expected anything different from such primitive abominations."

Not even an ounce of blood stained Valentine, still ever covered in the slimy mud of the marsh, looking akin to a monster from a campfire story told to 'entice' children into behaving themselves.

"IMPLOSION!"

Shalltears command echoed throughout the battlefield that was hers and Valentine's fighting ground. A spell that commanded one to fold upon oneself or turn be crushed into a ball of nothing.

Bit by bit Valentine folded in upon himself like origami, as though his bones were nothing to the magic that now attacked him. Something quite strange was going on unbeknownst to Shalltear.

What she saw was another worlds Valentine.

A voice spoke from behind Shalltear as she witnessed Valentine be rent into nothing but a ball of biological mush.

"I see you're aiming for the kill. I can see my guard is none to happy about that. I'm sorry to inform you but there's a process one has to go through to stay in America, and you most certainly haven't done it."

Crack!

The force that hit Shalltear sent her flying without the need of her wings. Surroundings blurred due to her speed

Crunch!

The impact of another attack sent her straight into the ground destroying the surroundings as she felt a piece of her armor now concave into her body and pierce her side.

Cree-eak!

Before she had a chance for any respite she was thrown into the air by the unseen force of Valentines 'guard' D.4.C. as she heard her armor's metal components creak and break as D.4.C. still held onto the front chest plate as it launched her and due to it's strength ripped off the outer most layer of her armor.

"This'll be enough time to take care of these things."

The ever present threat of the army of the beasts was still very apparent. As the chaos that ensued proved that to be very much the case.

Heaps upon heaps of creatures barreled towards the President as he stood calmly as some of the mud slowly fell off of him.

Wolves leaped at him attacking where they thought he was, only to bite nothing but the air of the night battlefield. They looked back and forth trying to figure out what happened only to get the answer of cold silence. The creatures weren't quite happy with the answer they had gotten as they rabidly searched around for any trace of Valentine.

Both the Floor Guardian and the President were nowhere to be seen as though they weren't even a part of the battle that still raged on at the current moment. Leaving the field of battle at peace for moments as the creatures of the night frantically searched for the man that had been evading almost every single attack that they had thrown at him.

Like a monster from a horror story the man in question appeared out of thin air with D.4.C. sending a rending kick straight into the midsection of a vampiric wolf. The force severed the beast and sent the upper and lower half of the once 'living' beast hurtling forward like a bullet from a rifle as they connected with a group of vampiric bats crushing them like pumpkins under the weight of a foot.

The magician of a President once again vanished from thin air and reappeared behind a group of wolves that aimed to charge at him moments earlier. The resounding noise like that of a sword slicing through the air was heard, as the trespassing creatures were cleaved into pieces of uncountable flesh, meat, and bone, now scattered the area where they once stood.

The speed of D.4.C. making it impossible for them to ever notice that they were even attacked, with all the fury of a father defending his only son.

The sound of wings flapping could be heard like the gust of a tornado as the once removed Shalltear had broken out of the daze that she had been put in by the current President of the United States of America.

Without any words between either one of the combatants Shalltear had launched herself into Valentine with the force of an army running towards their objective.

Schlck!

"DIE!"

As Shalltear's hatred filled scream echoed out while rage burned in her cold heart she had not received a single drop of the sanguine fluid that dwelled within all living beings the life that sustained those that were living and those that consumed it.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!? AGAIN YOU BASTARD!"

Where the lance pierced Valentine's very heart, chunks of his body were missing and Shalltear could now see that. Valentine's eyes only held a dark burning malice in them, a burning determination like no other.

Malicious Determination.

Crack!

Shalltear dashed backwards as she looked at her lance due to the loud noise that came from right in front of her, her lance... was broken!

D.4.C.'s hand had crushed Shalltears life-stealing lance! As though it were nothing but dirt or snow, the cracking noise that came from the lance was resounding. With an unearthly sound the chunks of Valentine's body that were missing now burst into creation once again, as though he was made of bricks and had put them back into place.

Fully repaired, as though nothing ever happened.

"You know, this is quite an interesting fight. You have a great many powers, some I'd dare to even say are the Devil's magic. I've never seen anything quite like it, though I'm growing quite tired of this song and dance we have going on. I'm afraid my Guard might have to actually try to kill you now.

Unknown to Shalltear, Valentine was bluffing, he had been in control this entire time, not a bit surprised that Shalltear might have abilities unlike anything he's seen if multiple of those Brides were with her, due to what he witnessed the first time he saw a single one of those creatures seemingly left a battlefield of a small army completely spent.

He had been trying to kill her the entire time, but not quickly. No that would be too good for her in Valentine's eyes.

"You'll die for your transgressions you insignificant fool!"

Shalltear had somewhat drawn her composure once again, she was healing well in some ways, her vampiric regeneration was handling the damage that was currently plastered across her body underneath her armor because of the force of the attacks she had been sustaining.

Shalltear remembered, Lord Ainz-Sama had fooled her many times during their battle with clever tricks, this world didn't have any of the magic that any from Nazarick had nor from the world that Nazarick now inhabited, she can see just how well off Valentine is in health however.

"Life Essence!"

ゴゴゴゴ

What the petite true vampire saw very well shook her to the core, the amount of health that was held by what she saw as a mere human was... beyond logical belief!

"What... something must be wrong... he must be using some sort of trick against me!"

The health pool that Shalltear saw in front of her dwarfed even the amount of Mana that her Lord Ainz-Sama had, it even broke through the illusionary dome that was the world's sky as it slowly disappeared above into the atmosphere.

"That's quite an accusation, that I would be trying to trick you. Though I don't plan on ever letting you spread such accusations to the rest of the world. I think it's time that your little entourage is dealt with, please if you would be so kind my Guard."

Schwoo

Valentine faded from thin air once again, just as the president seemingly left thundering shockwaves echoed all around and within the rugged battlefield.

Krakoom!

As soon as the thundering noise reached Shalltear a group of giant bats had already dropped faster than she could count. D.4.C.'s strikes carrying such power that it condemned what it struck to oblivion, the Corpses of the blood sucking parasites were nothing but barely identifiable scraps of meat and blood splattered across the muddied battleground.

Craa-ack!

Another group gone!

Bang!

The herds were falling like wheat against a sickle's crescent like edge!

Before Shalltear's very eyes her horde was destroyed by what looked like shockwaves! Valentine hadn't done a single bit of this damage from what she saw, nothing even hit her army. It was like invisible Lightning struck and vanished only to suddenly take out the rest of her minions as the invisible attack thundered throughout the battlefield.

"What is this magic!? I've never seen anything like this before! This world doesn't have magic, how can this be happening! Lord Ainz-Sama would never lie to me like this, he mustn't of known about this world having this kind of power!"

Shalltear was almost hysterical at being cornered like this, she knew she was much more powerful than anything this world had in it from what her master told her. She was one of if not the strongest Floor Guardian's of Nazarick. There's no way something could rival her power, she needed to get the item Lord Ainz-Samam needed, she couldn't live with herself if she failed him.

"I'm afraid this isn't any form of magic my dear."

ゴゴゴゴ

Krakoom!

D.4.C.'s fist rocketed across Shalltear's helm concaving it and sending her flying like a meteorite from out of orbit into earth's atmosphere, a stream of blood following behind her.

Like the stream of a shooting star in the night sky.

Shalltear was in the same situation as earlier being flung around by some form of invisible force that protected Valentine. She was already out of the ground by the time Valentine had once again appeared to her from the night's air.

Shalltear simply stared at Valentine and rolled her neck and shoulders, her helm stuck into her left side though no wounds remaining as her regeneration healed her like a plant using photosynthesis.

"This is quite irritating to the both of us now it seems Miss Bloodfallen, I'd suggest you try and escape for your own good. You very well might be faster than my guard. Though to be honest I don't plan on letting you go now that you have shown yourself to be a danger to my nation."

Shalltear simply huffed at Valentine's remark.

"Whatever this magic your guard is using I'm far superior to it. I'll be done with you in just a little while now."

Shalltear still believed in her capabilities though the magic that whatever Valentine's guard wielded did drive her hysterical just minutes ago she had once again resolved herself to stay as calm as she was able.

Valentine passed an earnest smile at Shalltear as he was still covered in the mud of the swamp now a much lesser amount than before though still enough for his plans.

"I do wish you luck then, you might need to pull out every stop at your disposal. Because I'm afraid this game of cat and mouse is quite over now."

Valentine walked forward, Shalltear's eyes constantly glued to him and where he moved to and from.

As the President walked Shalltear witnessed him seemingly teleporting like he had done before, from the left side to the right side, one after another as though he was mimicking the footsteps of a giant.

Flickering back in and out of existence like he was an illusion.

Schlick!

Right as Valentine hopped into the world once again Shalltear attacked with blindingly fast speed, though her Spuit Lance had been broken at the tip it still served it's purpose quite well, blood was freely flowing from the President's right side, shock and confusion etched onto his face as he looked down.

"I win."

Shalltear pushed her lance even deeper into the President's side, Valentine made not a single sound as he winced as the lance pushed the mud into his body that he was once covered in, if he survived this would most definetly cause a terrible infection especially with all the types of things that dwell in the swamp not to even consider the giant lance that was going completely through him.

Valentine looked upon Shalltear's face and saw her wicked smile that she was now adorned with due to finally hitting him and causing significant damage for once in their little quarrel. His face however now changed to one of indifference as he looked upon her.

"I... hope that wasn't your last idea... to get rid of me, Miss Bloodfallen."

D.4.C. chopped Shalltear's elbow upwards, a sickening crunch and cracking noises accompanying the attack, though she screamed at this amount of pain out of surprise she didn't realize she gave Valentine exactly what he wanted, her anguish.

The President was now free from the Lance's binding strike that once held him in place! He walked forward slowly bit by bit as if nothing happened, a massive hole going through his midsection leaking blood and guts hanging from it.

"ARRRRRRRGGGGHHHH!"

Shalltear was clenching her right arm entirely as she sat on the muddied ground where the force of the attack she took sent her, she paid no attention to Valentine and missed what had happened.

Thud.

A muddy body much like Valentine's in shape fell from his side it looked as though a cell broke off to make another, as though it duplicated and was simply tossed away like nothing, Valentine walked towards Shalltear like a Tiger about to pounce on it's prey. The body that was left in the ground had the exact wound that Shalltear had inflicted upon Valentine, blood and guts spilling out of it.

Valentine looked like he had aught a scratch or bit of damage on him, mud still covering his entire body and articles of clothes. Valentine marched on towards Shalltear who now sat on the ground, howling in pain as she tried to no avail to fix her arm.

Vwhoosh

"That's... quite peculiar, a new ability of hers I suppose..."

As the duo of Stand and User made their way towards their foe, She had gotten up and her arm... was completely fine! As though they had never landed the gruesome strike against her elbow that decimated her entire arm.

The duo was all but stopped in their tracks as they came to a snail's pace moving forwards.

Shalltear was already making use of her time, using one of her very last tricks up her sleeves.

"Einherjar."

A brilliant blinding white light entered the area as Shalltear spoke utterly consuming Valentine's sight and more so blinding him twice through D.4.C. as well.

"Damnit!"

Squelch

"Again...? That damn- 'hluck'!" Valentine was coughing up blood profusely spouting out blood as though he were a marble water fountain in a park, he couldn't see from his or his stand's eyes as the light completely skewed his sight before he could even think of what to do.

"..."

The blindingly white glowing construct that was Shalltear's trump card just stared on at the President and tilted it's head as though it were a young animal trying to understand the whims of a person speaking to them for the first time.

Rii-iiip

The doppelganger of Valentine's opponent pushed the lance that had pierced Valentine's side much like the spear that pierced Christ to finish the sin that plagued many a man's heart.

"I... see... that's how it's to be."

Squelch!

The lance was pulled out and was sent propelling back into Valentine as though it were attached to a piston!

"..."

The Body that was struck yet again looked smaller than Valentine ever appeared to be, the body was still covered in mud. The construct attacked ferociously once again time and time again as though it were a boxer hitting a speedbag back and forth rotating their fists in a circular motion to keep up the assault of blows.

Krrrrrrrrrrr!

The Construct noticed as it was assaulting what was assumed to be the now former President's body a noise coming from underneath itself, it sounded like metal being grinded into shavings through pure brute force and nothing else.

What it saw sent it into a state of a distraught frenzy.

Craaaa-aaack!

The Einherjar's entire foot was crumpled into a ball, grooves that looked like the fingers of a giant had gripped onto it's foot were present. Just as soon however the entire foot vanished, as though it was cut off by a master swordsman.

Krrrrrrrrrr!

Once again the unearthly sound of metal being grinded into naught but shavings filled the Einherjar's mind as it felt it's entire right leg being pulled apart from itself, it couldn't feel the excruciating pain this would of caused to any living being but it knew that this was a dire situation.

Thud

Thud

Thud

Thud

Thud

One after another the construct tried to strike whatever was holding onto it, it felt like it was shaped like a hand of a giant of a man. As the Einherjar went for another strike towards it's spectral assailant it finally found purchase on something.

The indication though of exactly what it was, wasn't exactly a welcoming sound for the construct of light. The noise of the lance cracking apart under the force of some invisible attack.

The creaking sound like that of a sea sick boat echoed as the construct looked down to see that it's marble white Lance was crushed straight in the middle and pointing back upon itself.

Cree-aak

Cra-aack

Right before it's eye's as the Construct jumped backwards the lance was ripped in half, as though it were made of paper and an angry child had just torn apart a drawing they had just sketched upon the page.

The Construct had gotten away for a brief moment, it's weapon was gone however and the damage it received was strong, it's right leg was indented deeply upon the thigh, and it's left foot was crushed into a ball point, it's wings the resort that held itself up, as the unknown enemy that was D.4.C. stalked just in between the mud a couple feet beneath the surface of what Shalltear and the Construct could see.

Valentine's breathing was slowed to a crawl while under the ground as though buried alive with only darkness able to be seen with his own eyes as D.4.C.'s eyes showed him the surface invisible to his opponents as he moved from reality to reality teleporting underneath the ground to stay hidden, a warfare tactic he had learned as a soldier, to stay concealed in the most peculiar places to get the advantage.

Shalltear knew she still had mana left she would need to use it soon, she had some options that would most definitely level the playing field. Shalltear looked once again towards where her Einherjar had been attacked and she saw it! The Guard was underneath the ground she could see it's hit points surging forth from underneath the ground!

"Raise Kin!"

The vampiric kin of Shalltear rose from the ground around the health pool, vampires of high levels, elder vampire bats, and other undead tried to claw their way into the location of where their summoner commanded them!

One could see the ground above moving where the undead moved underneath the ground beyond sight, an odd dozen or so moving like a giant worm underneath the soil faster than even Badgers could!

...

...

...

Though as soon as the summoned monsters reached their destination the movements stopped completely... no sounds of dirt being moved or destroyed by the claws of Shalltears summoned monsters, no extra dirt above showing rising points of where the vampires moved along...

Just the dead silence of the night around all of the combatants.

Cruu-unch

just as soon as the silence began, the noise of metallic objects being crushed under a meaty amount of force broke the said silence.

Shalltear hurriedly looked towards where the noise came from, just a bit away from herself her construct stood still. A hole the size of a dinner plater was now showing the scenery behind in front of itself. As still as a statue as though a Gorgon from Greek Myhtology had gazed upon Shalltears construct and turned it into a statue of master make.

Thud

Crash

The Einherjar was pulled down towards the muddy ground and as it met the surface the thud and crash that was exhumed were loud enough to render one's hearing undone for a fair few moments on end. The trump card that was Shalltear's Einherjar was gone, shattered to nothing but pieces that now laid about in the mud drawing a metaphorical line in the sand in the current battle that was going on.

Shalltear's mental state wasn't fairing well at this point one of her strongest abilities was taken down within just a couple minutes, it had the same stats as her as well, though it couldn't use her magic or skills that shouldn't matter, she was one of the strongest physical fighters in all of Nazarick.

But her Einherjar was taken down like it was nothing but cannon fodder to whatever was protecting Valentine, she shouldn't of ever let her guard down, even if Lord Ainz-Sama told her nothing had magic in this world she shouldn't of been so reckless in how she handled the situations she has been presented with.

Unluckily for Shalltear though her mistakes seem to have just about caught up with her.

ゴゴゴゴ

"I'm sorry to say this, but I do quite enjoy seeing nobles and royalty get taken down a step or two so to speak, as vile as that is to say it is how I feel. Then again I'm not sure I should feel bad for disgusting creatures like yourself Bloodfallen."

"IMPURE SHOCKWAVE SHIELD!"

Reddish black energy surged forth from Shalltear as she side stepped to her left expecting to get caught by an attack from behind, Valentne's voice came from right behind her though it sounded... distorted?

The shockwave of dark energy hit nothing but the cold wet muddy ground that shone in the pale moon light.

"I'm afraid you'll have to do better than that. It seems you rely on your senses quite a bit. It would be a shame if something happened to that method of your's. Though I doubt you'll have to worry about that or time to worry about for that mat-"

"PERFECT UNKOWABLE!"

"INVISIBILITY!"

As soon as the she-devil shouted those two phrases she was gone. For Valentine this was a bit of a predicament, she was completley gone without a trace. It was unlikely that she would leave, Valentine knew that she needed to kill him and he needed to kill her. It would be beyond foolish for her to leave based on how she talked about how she needed to kill him.

Valentine simply lay underground in the mud like a larvae thinking of his next course of action. D.4.C. acting like a periscope to the surface of the world. Nothing suspicious had happened quite yet, no traces of Shalltear either, no footprints in the mud, sound, trails, anything at all.

'Well this'll be quite the situation I've found myself in. I can't hide in this location for too much longer, she managed to find me before I simply can't risk that she still can find me. Especially with my lack of knowledge on her whereabouts in the vicinity of this area.'

Valentine's thought's rushed about a flurry of ideas coming about in his mind.

Play Misconception by Myuu

In another world a similar battle between an alternate Shalltear and Valentine waged on, while Valentine sat back and let Blackmore do all of the work. Simply messing with the rainfall and blocking everything Shalltear threw towards the bastion of hope that was Blackmore and Valentine.

Squelch

Raindrops hit Shalltear going through her as though she was not even there, tearing through her body like radiation tearing through cells.

"Please Ma'am give up, I don't want to fight you. But if it's for Mr. Valentine I will. And I'll do whatever he asks of me, he's loved me like a father, please give up."

As the battle raged on no one noticed the change in the atmosphere as an overwhelming presence had entered into the mix, it's owner was currently moving about unseen beneath the surface trudging through the mud like a soldier in the trenches of a battlefield.

"Summon monster 10th."

Shalltear's command was given life as her spell summoned forth a monstrous dog from the depths of Hell, it's giant stature as large as a train car, three heads all as vicious as the one beside.

It's body emitted smoke from every side of itself as it's demonic red eyes bared down upon Blackmore, though just as soon as it entered into the world it was made aware of the amount of pain that the raindrops could cause.

Squelch

Squelch

Squelch

Rii-iip

Dozens of raindrops were falling every second from the darkened sky of the night, ripping through both Shalltear and her Cerberus, this ability cared not for how strong one's body was, they ripped through it all the same. Though Catch the Rainbow was a situational stand it is by far just as powerful as many others that could be used at any time.

The three headed beast went to try and attack only for it to ram itself into a lattice wall of raindrops.

An unearthly howl of pain came from the gargantuan beast as though it were a child crying out for it's mother. The wounds evident of what it had just done, hundreds of small holes littered the creatures body as though it were mowed down by a gatling gun.

Blackmore and Valentine were still and unmoving standing their positions and staying firm in their stance like a rock wall enduring the crashing of the ocean or seas waves.

Shalltear however had opted to do the exact opposite, to be as quick as possible moving as fast as she could to not be undone by the now lethal drops of rain that bombarded the land for miles around.

Squelch

Squelch

Squelch

Though Shalltear moved faster than any human eye could track she still couldn't outpace the rain even though she far exceeded the rain's speed, that didn't matter when every inch of the battlefield was hit by at least a dozen or so raindrops.

As more raindrops fell they went straight through Shalltear like she was never even there, straight lines of holes were abundant across her entire body as she still tried to dodge the rainfall like a mountaineer trudging up Mt. Everest, still to no avail however as the rain slowly started to buildup the wounds upon her.

"Time Accelerator!"

Shalltear began to move faster than ever before! Her movements like streaks of lightning to anyone who attempted to see where she would move.

Drip

Drip

Drip

Drip

Drip

Every single bit of rain that fell hadn't even gotten close to Shalltear, it was as if she was moving outside of time itself. While her Summoned Cerberus was still around it seemed worse for wear as it couldn't get past any of the rain that was suspended in mid air like beaded curtains on a gypsy's caravan.

It was still resolute in attempting however, constantly hurting itself by trying to get past the blockade of rain that now stopped it and its master.

That is until Shalltear called it off, she knew it was only hurting itself and doing nothing but causing a ruckus for everyone involved.

Shalltear was right about that to an unknown degree.

"This is over I'm afraid, for everyone here that is."

Shalltear had heard Valentine's voice but had no idea how, he was dozens upon dozens of feet away from her, she was frantically looking all around showing the spectacle to this world's Valentine and Blackmore leaving them ever so slightly confused but causing them to be even more cautious in how they handled this situation.

Shalltear couldn't see it but right behind her stood the towering monster of strength that was D.4.C., no one could see it as it's movements far outpaced anything in the universe.

Squelch

As Shalltear looked around she was taken aback at the pain she now felt. Looking downwards she saw that a gaping hole was blown through her stomach almost symmetrically perfect as well too. an odd four lines were around her ribs as though the knuckles of a hand had also broke through her.

"Hugckh..." Shalltear sputtered out blood through her mouth, her body already felt as though her Passive skill Blood Frenzy was about to awaken due to all of the blood on her body but as soon as she coughed again a loud wind was heard.

Shwoom

Shalltear's head saw it's own body from the floor the hole that was now allowing a view to the moon as though it were a window to look out of, finished with a viscous Crimson paint on all sides. She now also felt a pain she hadn't noticed due to how fast this had all happened, a burning pain like no other, as though she felt every single one of her wrongdoings consume her and drag her down and far away.

This feeling was incomprehensibly painful beyond belief, one would have to experience this pain to truly understand the gravity of how it felt. To an undead as well? Let's say it's even worse.

"Blackmore!? What the Hell just happened!? Did you do that!? What's going on, your ability has never done something like that before!?"

This world's Valentine knew of Stands but couldn't see them what so ever. All he knew at this moment was something was amiss as whatever attacked this abomination on his land was far faster than he could tell, the hole in the monster as well as when it's head were lopped off happened so fast it was like a moment of time was taken and thrown away and had happened instantly.

"N-no S-sir I don't know what's going on, I-it was all a blur, I c-couldn't see anything that happened to her. I d-didn't do any of that."

The meek Blackmore was just as confused as his president, what happened was far faster than he could even comprehend what happened, his shy nature causing him even more anxiety, confusion, and distress than most in a situation like this.

This worlds Valentine stepped backwards at seeing what was now happening, the three headed monster had disappeared into thin air. The body of the Abomination known as Shalltear was glowing a light yellow as it was quickly exhumed from this world at an alarming rate.

Schhhhh

Just as the body was turned into nothing by the light that was consuming the body the creatures clothes were ripped off of it in less than a second, the speed of which made it seem like there was never clothes on it to begin with.

This Valentine was beyond anxiety filled, something was wrong here and he knew it, there was some strange ability in play here, and it wasn't Blackmore's.

"Blackmore get back here! Right n-"

Just as soon as this worlds Valentine had yelled to his protector Blackmore he was cut off completely, from a desperate yell to deafening silence as the only one left on the field was the meek Blackmore.

The alternate Valentine was thrown out of a large American flag. Pristine in every way. The alternate Valentine until he landed upon the muddy area that looked like a war had been waged upon it. He Scrambled to get up onto his feet as he could barely see or tell what was going on in this darkened night.

His coat, pants, and gloves all getting dirtied by the mud that he was frantically trying to pull himself up from as his sense of sight was almost entirely removed in this atmosphere.

The alternate Valentine's eyes darted back and forth anywhere they could, the pale moonlight only just barely giving enough light to see and make out somethings.

Just as soon as the alternate Valentine got up however he was quickly assaulted by an unseen force.

Cra-ack!

it felt like an armored fist had been pushed through his chest as he felt his ribs break from the force of the hit. His heart feeling a great pain as he saw what had happened as he looked down.

"This little game is over now. It was fun playing with you, you were quite interesting even if you were so rude to poor little ole me. It's too bad Lord Ainz-Sama might've really liked you."

The sickly sweet and condescending voice of the Abomination he saw die was right behind him, he saw her die! The alternate Valentine had no idea how in the Hell she was still fucking alive!

As he looked down he saw a gauntlet that was now revealed by the blood of his heart as it held it jutting out from his chest. The invisibility now somewhat revealing where this Shalltear was.

"I saw you... 'Hacgkh' die... how are you still... alive?"

This line caught Shalltear abit off guard, she had no idea what Valentine was talking about. How had he seen her die? What was he talking about, there wasn't a single attack from his guard that looked like it killed her, what did he mean?

Sadly both of them had no clue as to how easily they had been culled by The Root Valentine.

"What do you mean? I'm afraid you're being quite foolish with your words Mr. Valentine."

The Root Valentine was sitting upon a tree just a hundred or so meters away from where his counterpart and enemy stood, the tree had no leaves, just it's skeleton that was the wood that made up the tree.

Mud dripping off of the root Valentine bit by bit as he watched these two interact through the eyes of D.4.C.

"The time is right. It's at a hand for me to be rid of this Shalltear Bloodfallen, no more games from either one of us... this battle ends now..."

End song.

Play Golden Wind OST Reminiscence

Valentine's resolved statement was spoken in a quieted still tone whisper to himself.

Shwoo

From one place to the next Valentine moved in an instant between the lines of reality and existence as the countless worlds warped past him in such psychedelic colors it was like a dream.

From underneath the shade of the tree to beneath the mud like a corpse put beneath graveyard soil, encroaching upon Shalltear a dozen meter's beneath the her. D.4.C. moving through different realms so fast it was akin to a drill.

At a split hair of a second the sounds of the muddied earth broke apart as though a shark leapt through the surface of the earth as though it were the wide open sea.

D.4.C. saw her, saw Shalltear the thing that it and Valentine needed to be rid of and it moved like a man possessed. It's muscled arm shot forward like a mechanical piston! It's grip was like that of gravity itself, ever present and fatal with a wrong move.

Scraa-aape

Shalltear's armor buckled beneath the grip within less than a second as it crushed inwards upon itself.

Shalltear attempted to move as she heard this sound but was unable to as the forceful strength of D.4.C. held her in place like a mechanical vice grip holding a piece of metal to be turned into a tool by a metal worker.

"What's g-"

Rii-iiiiiippppp!

Craa-aack!

In a flash before Shalltear could utter one more word, her jaw was ripped from her head with ease. D.4.C.'s hand arcing upwards in a crescent motion holding the jaw of Shalltear triumphantly like a prize from a long awaited hunt.

Blood dripped forth from both the jaw and Shalltears head just a second after due to the speed at which it happened, Shalltear's body couldn't even recognize what happened until moments later as blood splattered forth from her body.

"AGGGGCCKKKHHHHHH!"

The guttural scream that broke the silence like an explosion that come forth from Shalltear was deafening, rupturing the Alternate Valentine's eardrums as the root Valentine transferred his eardrums to his pockets through them being between his skin and moments later having them teleport back to his ear canals to hear once more.

"I'm afraid from what I've seen you need to speak your 'magic' in order for it to work so-"

Right as the root Valentine was about to finish he saw that a flame was rapidly encroaching upwards.

Once again the rush of countless worlds went whirling past Valentine as D.4.C. acted upon it's own volition to protect it's user.

Shwooo

The pillar of flame touched nothing save for Valentine's shoes as the speed of D.4.C. acting on it's own was much faster than anything Shalltear could possibly hope to achieve.

From the outside of this battle it looked like some form of a war, one that was back in forth in almost every way.

Shalltear's body had begun to heal to it's regular state once more, she had used her time reverse ability to heal. It could only be used three times in a day.

Sadly for her she would find out some things can't be beaten in this world.

She had only noticed but her jaw hadn't returned at all.

Unknown to her the holy energy of the Corpse had already affected part of her body. Imagine if you will, what could any creature of a tainted origin ever hope to do against the originator of all that's truly good, just, and Holy?

In the end, it doesn't matter what you try to do to protect yourself against it, the power of the Lord can't be beaten by anything save for the Lord.

The alternate Valentine was already long dead, simply lifelessly hanging from Shalltear's dainty hand.

Shalltear was panicking as her Time Reverse hadn't healed her body what so ever, she ripped her hand out of the alternate Valentine and threw away his heart like it was but a toy she was tired with.

Thud!

The Alternate Valentine's body slumped forth and hit the ground with a thud, Shalltear's invisibility was completely called off due to the pain she had felt from her jaw being ripped apart from her body.

Valentine felt a pull on himself as he looked into the demon's eyes, as though he was compelled to do her bidding but before that could take in full effect he had already switched his body for another. The mud still drenching Valentine concealing this act entirely giving him the advantage he knew he needed.

"Enough of this, you childish brat."

As soon as Valentine's words were spoken aloud he saw another Cerberus brought forth from the depths of Hell itself. It launched itself like a bullet towards Valentine this giant hulking mass of furred muscle, hatred, fire, and bone could destroy an entire town if given a couple of minutes.

Sadly for Shalltear and her summoned creatures that didn't matter when faced against a force as strong as a universal constant.

The giant creature and Valentine ran towards one another at breakneck speeds, D.4.C. had already prepared itself to break this creature entirely as it reared it's fist back and let go.

Krakoooom!

The hit sounded like lightning had struck right in front of the giant creature.

The gigantic dog was met with a thundering jab from the stitched fist of D.4.C.

Crack!

The skull was broken in less than a blink of an eye.

Rii-iiip!

As soon as the hand of D.4.C. reached far enough it began to pull with no effort at all.

The jab had gone straight through the monsters brain utterly destroying it, as D.4.C.'s hand was ripped from the massive monster's body it dragged with it the spine that was at least twenty feet long. Sickening twists, pops, and crunches were all heard at once in one large echoing harmony as D.4.C. ripped it out once again faster than Shalltear could even perceive.

D.4.C. merely looked upon the spine as though it was pleased with it's outcome but disgusted with the situation before throwing it like a boomerang towards Shalltear with the a force that broke the sound barrier as soon as it moved but a millimeter.

It would of bisected Shalltear completely had she not casted quite possibly one of the strongest defensive abilities in her arsenal, Force Sanctuary.

It was very strange, Valentine was intrigued by it. It looked like a barrier, luckily there were some ways to bypass such things.

Valentine thought that was quite peculiar... he would have to try some more unconventional ways to attack her it seemed.

As soon as he began to walk he ran only to teleport in front of Shalltear once again.

There was one downside to this ability of hers, she couldn't attack while it was active.

It looked as though from the perspective of a stand user that D.4.C. was going to strike with all of it's strength but, it only appeared that way. As soon as it's balled up fist was about to meet Shalltears face it opened and out appeared Shalltear's dress.

The blinding blur that this happened in wouldn't of been seen by almost anyone with how fast D.4.C. moved but as soon as Shalltear realized at the last second it was her dress, she couldn't of even thought about how Valentine had gotten his hands upon it.

From beneath her armor her own dress was pulling towards the dress that had been thrown towards her, her own armor was being ripped apart and broken off from the force that the dresses were drawing towards one another, she couldn't even move away, she had stuck herself in a state of being unable to attack.

Valentine and Shalltear looked on with much different expressions.

Valentine's one of solemn waiting.

Shalltear's one of complete bewilderment and confusion.

The dresses merged and produced an explosion of infinite squares that utterly annihilated themselves from existence as they merged into nothingness as the alien like static noise from it followed suit.

The shattering sound of Shalltear's sanctuary was heard as the menger sponge had taken affect.

A large crater stood where Shalltear once did as though she had once again been hit like a golf ball by D.4.C. into the earth.

Shwoo

The countless worlds were a blur as D.4.C. moved through them.

Valentine teleported to the crater as the mud was still ever present on him.

His steps made no sound, as Valentine looked down into the crater to see Shalltear was almost completely naked, her body battered and bruised by the laws of reality fixing the problem of two items from differing universes being in the same place.

Before another mishap could happen like when he assumed Shalltear could only use her abilities when she spoke them.

Shwoo

Universes passed by Valentine and his stand, as it teleported to Shalltear only to kick her with a snap kick upwards.

Shalltear was kicked like a football with the force of an entire natural disaster behind it, the cracking noise from the force quickly following Shalltear as she was kicked.

Before she hurtled into anything else Valentine once again teleported to her as D.4.C. struck with a hook, it's fist going through Shalltear leaving a hole and sending her flying once again.

Again.

A hook punch.

And Again.

A uppercut.

And Again.

A sucker punch.

One after another, there was no rest for Shalltear.

Every attack from D.4.C. hitting with the force to part the red sea itself. Valentine's indignation wasn't quenched he wanted this to end but wanted to make sure that Shalltear made sure to let whoever this Lord Ainz was to never trek back to America.

The fists of D.4.C. had sent Shalltear flying back and forth so many times it was like it was playing catch with itself as it teleported. Even teleporting fast enough to constantly keep up with the speed at which it was sending Shalltear hurtling.

Valentine wanted to cement into her that she will never be allowed to roam the lands of America with his knowledge nor any that she is allied with. He simply watched as he was going back and forth as the muscled arm of D.4.C. would hit Shalltear with enough force to send her flying but not cause an immediate death.

"Tell."

Krakooom!

"Your."

Krakooom!

"Lord."

Krakooom!

"Ainz."

Krakooom!

"Sama"

Krakooom!

"That."

Krakooom!

As soon as she was sent flying once again she was sent into the muscular hand of D.4.C. as it clenched onto her neck, completely wrapping around her neck with one hand and even overlapping onto itself as it crushed down with more force bit by bit every second as though it were taking someone's blood pressure.

D.4.C. brought Shalltear's face to the right side of Valentine's head and faced her towards him, while Valentine looked outwards towards the nighttime sky and solemnly thought about what to say next.

"Should he ever send another one of his employees or ever come to step foot on America himself, that I will utterly erase Japan from earth itself. No matter how many resources it will take for me to accomplish. It will happen, and the lives of millions of his innocent countrymen will be gone. I am a man of my word, and I will make that come to pass should he ever attempt to hurt anyone or anything in America again."

Valentine took three steps forward and exhaled through his nose as though he were getting ready to make a life changing decision.

"That's if you are able to ever come back from what's about to happen to you. I'm sorry to say that it was very unpleasant meeting you Miss Bloodfallen. I hope I never see you or anyone under the Employee of this Lord Ainz-Sama ever again, for yours and their own sake of course."

"D.4.C.!"

With the shouting command from it's master D.4.C. had let go of Shalltear and as it did so it's muscles constricted and showed the extremely developed definition that it had going throughout it's metallic looking body. The muscles looked as though they were chiseled from marble.

Within less than a second from Valentine's command D.4.C.'s arm shot forward like it were a steam piston! The force sent a shockwave reverberating throughout the air for hundreds of meters on end.

As soon as the first strike was landed however, the barrage had already started. Thundering Krakoooms echoed in chorus faster than they could begin, the noise even overtaking itself one after another overlapping it's own chorus.

The fists of D.4.C. colliding and sparking against Shalltear's body so fast that even though the first strike was enough to kill her, her body didn't even register that at the speed that D.4.C. was attacking.

"This is my land, they are my people! I'll do whatever it takes to keep it alive even if I have to damn myself to Hell! I can only better myself after this country is saved! It is better to be loved than feared but in this case Shalltear Bloodfallen, I will take being feared by you. All of my actions are utterly unclouded, they are those of justice for my people!

Valentine's own anger had finally boiled to a melting point. Breaking down into one final yell of anger as he looked upon the body of Shalltear that was experiencing the pain of being hit by a being that was akin to a Biblical disaster, in some sense the wrath of God.

D.4.C.'s barrage ended into an attack of hitting Shalltear with all the force it could muster behind itself, putting it's whole body into the strike, every muscle that it had was flexed in that moment, a body beyond even Samson's.

Kraaaa-kooooooommmmm!

The noise that emanated from the final strike D.4.C. threw was enough to crater the entire area around it's originating point, that final strike was even stronger than every hit D.4.C. gave in it's countless flurry of blows. In some sense a battery of infinite possibilities throwing everything it could give into a single possibility.

There was nothing left of Shalltear as D.4.C.'s final strike landed, every strike was fatal with the force alone, but with the energy of the Corpse emerging every time the Stand interacted with something was devastating. Especially to the undead.

Even the almost nonexistent red mist that would of been leftover initially from but a single strike was utterly purified and removed from the world by the energy of the corpse. Even as D.4.C. simply moved back to it's idle state, there was a strange energy flickering about it.

Small pillars of light just a bit less than a millimeter in height rapidly disappeared from the body of D.4.C. and the air around it sparking as they left like fireworks almost. Unnoticed by Valentine however these things slowly moved things away and towards D.4.C. as they seemingly moved some small gap's in space, little eyes looking at different areas darting back and forth slowly moved within these small light's as though they were being held in a prison.

"It is finished!"

Valentine's triumphant roar of victory as he had finally beaten the she demon that had irritated him for most of the night.

Valentine looked back about the battlefield and saw the ruin he had caused little did he know he just set Ainz back quite a bit of gold but with quite a bit of a valuable information once Shalltear is revived.

"We have quite a bit of work to do. It's time to get to it."

I hope everyone liked this chapter, I put quite a bit into it! Now onto some answers for those that might be wondering about things in the story.

Every single piece of the Saint's Corpse is in a new tier beyond any item Overlord has ever had called Creare, which means capital G God, omnipotent, beyond everything, unfathomable. When they are all together and form the full corpse they no longer have a tier name as it transcends mortal capabilities to describe even for me as the writer.

You may question "It makes no sense that there is something that powerful in JoJo compared to Overlord."

But trust me you're wrong, Jesus has already in JoJo been written as the traditional Christian Jesus in many respects as well as Araki being raised a protestant and still being somewhat of a Christian it makes sense to assume that this is indeed the Christian version of Christ Jesus, meaning he is indeed God and whether you believe in him or not doesnt matter since the Christian God based on literature is the strongest fictional being and where the idea of omnipotence originated.

The only piece of the Corpse that isn't put away currently is the heart which is in Valentine's possession. The rest are hidden in a vault in trinity church.

Keep in mind a single one of the pieces of the corpse created an infinite omniverse through D.4.C. and the heart and D.4.C. are the literal batteries keeping it alive.

The corpse parts are also impossible to be destroyed.

That's all for the current answers I hope everyone has a great day!
