Tensions Building then Raising New Romance
"I'll never forget how Mirei showed us the letter we wrote to her together." Shirahoshi said while she and Jurai are eating lunch together while Mirei is getting drinks for them from the vending machine.
"Yeah, I still can't believe she didn't get how it was supposed to explain about naming her superpower." Jurai stated.
"Well, Tomoyo did pointed out how you should've been more specific in the letter or something else." Shirahoshi said.
"Please, that letter was a work of art and you agreed to it!" Jurai pointed out as his girlfriend blushes, knowing he's right.
(Few Days Ago)
The scene shows the Literature club members are reading the letter Jurai and Shirahoshi wrote for Mirei which they will soon find out how the Student Council President came here to confess.
"Miss Kudo, I have tasted your power and I, along with my beautiful mermaid lover, have felt that you have pierced us through the heart from the heated of our last battle. Therefore, we have decided to grant this sinful title, Grateful Lover Hand, and hope we can join together with our hearts as one! Please consider our offer.
From, the Conquer of Chaos, Guiltia Sin Jurai (AKA Jurai Ando) and the Mermaid Queen of the Ocean, Queen Mercury (AKA Shirahoshi Aoi)."
"Okay, I'm starting to get a clear picture, but I want to hear this from you two." Tomoyo said.
"After we had that little fight the other day, I wanted to give her power a name." Jurai explained.
"When he told me about it, I thought it was very sweet and wanted to add a little something to the name like how she takes the powers with holding out her hand." Shirahoshi added.
"I see, Kudo, have you ever considered about Ando's horrible use of language?" Tomoyo asked.
"Of course, I have! I read in all the delicates words through their love letter, the way it's artily specific and extremely romantic which clear says "We fell in love with you! Will you please go out with us?" Here the part with the part piercing their hearts was really brilliant, could've been any more clearer if you ask me!" Mirei smiled.
"Well, Jurai always love to write with careful and big creativeness in his mind." Robin complimented.
"Yeah, but he should have really written a little more normal." Rebecca sighed.
"And just take a look at this, they spelled "Grater Lover Hand" with the first two words in the characters that means greed and passion and purpose all in one word!" Mirei explained.
"Yeah, that's what I don't get about." Tomoyo turned to Jurai and Shirahoshi while Mirei kept going on and on about the letter.
"Putting greed in there makes sense, but you're really reaching with that Lover thing. Why in the world would you use lover?" Tomoyo asked.
"It's not Lover, that kanji can also mean something else like "Robber" as in the way she steals power." Jurai pointed out.
"I was kind of confuse at first, I did suggest that maybe he could have use something else like stealer or maybe thief." Shirahsohi mentioned.
"Then why didn't you convince him to go with either of those names instead?" Tomoyo asked.
"He made a point that kanji he used would be suited better." Shirahoshi answered.
"Seriously, that stupid Chuni mind of yours has now caused confusion on her, so you two better fix this!" Tomoyo glared scaring the couple a bit.
"Okay, okay, we'll try to clear things up with her." Jurai nodded.
"Excuse, Miss President." Shirahsohi said to get Mirei's attention.
"Do you mind if we talk?" Jurai asked.
"Oh, Jurai, Shirahoshi, if we're going to be the three lovers then I believe it would best we start calling each other by our first names, don't you think?" Mirei said.
"F-First name calling." Jurai gulped nervously.
"A-Are you sure it's okay to call you that?" Shirahoshi asked, feeling a little embarrass.
"Of course, nothing would make be happy though I think would also be fitting for Jurai call us both honey." Mirei smiled causing Jurai to gasp.
"Although, that might be over the top with calling us both honey, so I think Jurai should call me sweetie Mirei and you, honey Shirahoshi." Mirei suggested.
"Already onto the cute nicknames, I suppose this means love waits for no one." Robin commented.
"D-Don't you think we should stop this before it gets out of hand?" Chopper asked worry.
"Hatoko! Don't you have something to say about this?" Tomoyo asked while blushing a bit.
"Huh, since the student council president came to visit us, I though I make us a batch of delicious tea." Hatoko said overfilling the cup and shaking a little.
"I think that's enough of the tea!" Rebecca snatched the teapot away.
"But having tea is a good idea." Rebecca said before pouring the tea in her mouth earning deadpan expression from Tomoyo.
"Quickly Chopper, giant defense!" Chifuyu commanded as she hops onto Chopper's back.
"You got it!" Chopper transformed into his muscular form which he calls it Heavy Point.
"We have nothing against you, Miss President, but we won't allow you to take them from us." Chopper declared.
"Oh, you must be Miss Satomi's nice, Chifuyu." Mirei recognized the girl.
"Go away, we're not letting you take Jurai and Chifuyu away from us." Chifuyu pouted angry.
"Aw, you two look so cute together." Mirei complimented of how Chopper and Chifuyu are together like this.
"Saying we're cute together won't make me happy. You stupid jerk." Chopper smiled doing his weird dance.
"Wait, hold on a minute, Kudo." Tomoyo said getting Mirei's attention.
"I still don't think you're not clear in the head. If you really try date the nerd king and Shirahoshi together, you're just gonna make trouble for yourself and waste your youth." Tomoyo pointed out.
"She's right, having two lovers could be a problem." Sayumi added.
"Maybe so, but I'm still going for it." Mirei said confident of this relationship before turning to Tomoyo.
"And I've been noticing you've been giving me trouble from the very beginning. I can only assume you're having a chest area inferiority complex." Mirei proclaimed causing Tomoyo to gasp.
"I can't believe you would go so low to be shamelessly shallow, perhaps a character is directly portion from their bra size." Mirei stated.
"What, what?" Tomoyo felt her anger raising.
"M-Mirei, you shouldn't say such things." Shirahoshi tried to stop Mirei from talking any further.
"I'm just saying that she to be clear minded. Just looking around I can see Tomoyo is the smallest aside Chifuyu, but I believe she'll grow bigger than you someday when she gets older." Mirei said.
"Oh whatever…" Tomoyo grunted.
"Of course, I don't know what it's like not to be down like that, but just think about this. A woman is a lot more than her cup sizes, it's not your fault." Mirei said.
That was the last straw of Tomoyo holding herself back.
"Be sealed in the moment of Time and stay there for the rest of eternity!" Tomoyo said about to use her time power on Mirei.
"Gotcha." Mirei used her power faster than Tomoyo could react, taking away the power of time from her.
"Look what I got, your superpower. Your carelessness has given me something else to play with." Mirei smirked as Tomoyo felt stupid for doing that.
"Mirei, wait! Please don't be mean to Tomoyo, she was just concern about our well-beings and she's a really good friend, I promise." Shirahoshi defended Tomoyo.
"Yeah, please give her the Close Clock. She's the only one who knows to use it, okay cutie?" Jurai asked, calling her cutie just be sure.
"Of course, anything for the two of you." Mirei nodded and immediately started giving Tomoyo her power back.
"Listen here, don't confuse my two lovers' generosity for my weakness." Mirei glared down at Tomoyo.
Then Tomoyo got back up throwing her fists at Mirei who responded by fighting back while the other club members are watching.
"Troubling and exciting to watch, don't you think?" Robin asked.
"Sure looks like it." Sayumi agreed.
(Present)
"Damn it, this feels so weird." Jurai sighed as he, Shirahoshi, and Mirei are walking through the hallway to the Literature Club.
"I'm so happy we were able to exchange emails together, you two really do have big hearts." Mirei smiled cutely.
"Yeah, that's us." Shirahoshi chuckled nervously.
"Well, here we are. We're going into our club, and you got to go for your Student Council meeting." Jurai said as they arrived at the Literature Club.
"Okay, I trust that you will keep yourself with all of those cute girls in there and I trusting you to keep that from happening." Mirei pointed at her boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Don't worry, Jurai isn't the kind of guy who would ever force a girl into something she doesn't like. That's not in his nature and he would even kill himself if anything were to happen like that." Shirahoshi assured.
"Shirahoshi." Jurai surprised to hear such strong words from his first girlfriend.
"Okay, you two have a good day!" Mirei walked away cheerfully, waving goodbye to them.
They enter the clubroom where they see the members are looking away from the two except for Robin.
"Welcome, another day of loving time with the Student Council President." Robin greeted.
"Please, don't start. I'm not sure if I can handle it." Jurai sighed as the couple sat down.
"Oh wow, and here I thought a Chuni like you would be honor to have another fine woman in your life." Tomoyo commented in a mocking tone.
"Hey, it's not like I wanted this to happen." Jurai complained.
"Well, you still made it happen and it's up to you two to fix it." Rebecca stated pointing at the two.
"We know, but it's not like Mirei is doing anything bad for the past few days." Shirahoshi said.
"Still, even I know dating two girls at the same time is kind of weird." Chopper said.
"Me too, plus I'm not sure if I like her all that much." Chifuyu nodded.
"We also need to take into account that Kudo never let herself so emotional like this, she needs to know about that letter before things gets out of hand." Sayumi believed.
"I don't think it would be that bad as you think." Robin said.
"What makes you say that Robin-Sensei?" Sayumi asked, curious of what their teacher thinks of this.
"Believe it or not, this is not the first time a relationship like this happened. There have been cases where man married more than one woman and they live a happy life together." Robin mentioned.
"Really? That can happen?" Hatoko asked surprise.
"Yes, there are few times when a boy who is loved by more than one or two girls in his life and the boy couldn't bring himself to choose one otherwise that would make the other girls sad as he has grown to love them all equally." Robin explained.
"Okay, that's kind of freaky. You're saying harem can happen like in those anime shows?" Tomoyo asked.
"In some countries, yes, including Japan. But whether it's in real life or anime, love is all the same when you feel for more than one." Robin stated.
"Wow, I never really thought of it that way." Jurai surprised.
"Are you sure because it looks to me like you were slowly enjoying having Miss Student Council President's company throughout these few days." Robin pointed out.
"I was? Huh, now that you mention it, having Mirei around wasn't entirely bad." Jurai realized.
"Yeah, sure her approach on this relationship was a bit too forward and that was our fault with the letter, but she is really a nice person once you get to know her." Shirahoshi nodded.
"Like two nights ago, Mirei and I talked on the phone about her favorite cartoon shows she would always watch even today." Shirahoshi mentioned.
"Sounds like you were having a good time." Jurai commented.
"Yeah, and I watched a couple of the shows she told me about. They were fun." Shirahoshi nodded.
"Okay, I might be getting what you guys are saying, but the fact still reminds that Kudo is still going major flirting with you two and she still needs to know the truth about the letter." Tomoyo pointed out.
"Yeah, you're right about it." Jurai sighed.
"We need to tell her the truth about the letter, but I'm worried that we might break her heart if we tell her." Shirahoshi worried.
"It's better to do it now than later, and I'm sure she'll understand." Chopper said, hoping he's right.
"Yeah, I think Shirahoshi need to set this right with her." Jurai agreed as they look at each other and nodded.
(Afternoon)
"Thank you for agreeing to talk with us, it's something really important." Jurai said to Mirei as they and Shirahoshi.
"Sure, you know I'm always happy to see you two." Mirei smiled cheerfully and cute.
"Look, Mirei, it's about the letter we put in your locker." Jurai mentioned.
"Aw, do you want to talk about the burning love you two have for me?" Mirei asked giggling.
"Well, actually, the letter we gave you wasn't intended to be a love letter at all." Shirahoshi revealed.
"Huh?" Mirei puzzled and feeling like her heart is slowly breaking.
"Yeah, you see the letter was actually to just give your superpower, and the lover part was supposed to sound like robber because you're awesome in every way that most would be jealous even me." Jurai explained.
"Oh, so that letter wasn't to attract my affection." Mirei said looking down a little with her eyes shadowed by her hair.
"Well, it wasn't at first until Robin-Sensei pointed out that I was actually enjoying the time with you like having a second girlfriend is really a cool." Jurai said blushing a little and scratching the back of his head.
"What… Really?" Mirei asked surprise.
"Yeah, even though the relationship was rushed and all, you were still a good person to help us be happy while bringing a little happiness to yourself almost like it was fated to happen." Shirahoshi smiled.
"H-Hold on, what are you two saying? Do you want to continue with this relationship?" Mirei asked shock.
"Yeah, I guess you could say we are." Jurai smiled.
"We hope this relationship will continue to get better from here." Shirahoshi smiled as well.
Mirei couldn't believe what was happening to her right now: just a mere moments ago Jurai and Shirahoshi were telling her the truth about the letter not declaring their love for them, but now they really are asking her out to be their girlfriend. Her heart suddenly felt like its racing faster than a race car and her world just exploded only to be reform into something new, something with those two at the center.
Then Mirei jump at them hugging around their necks which caught them by surprise.
"Oh, sorry! I was just so surprise of what you two said and…" Mirei blushed as she lets them go.
"It's okay, you probably just needed to get something off your chest anyway." Jurai chuckled.
"Come to think of it, didn't you mentioned about making the kanji count in her power name to be similar like the ones you did for the club?" Shirahoshi recalled that talk some time ago.
"That's right, it reminded me of some characters from anime and manga, but they don't always use that and because I wanted us to be united." Jurai said.
"United?" Mirei puzzled.
"Yep, we all have powers together and I thought we can unite together into something fun and awesome." Jurai explained and look to Mirei.
"Since you had to deal with having a superpower alone before knowing about us, I thought you should know that you're never alone. Like Robin-Sensei always says, no matter who you are, no one is born to be alone." Jurai stated with a gently smile.
"Oh wow, I believe that might have been the almost serious thing you have ever said." Mirei giggled.
"Well, I do have my moments." Jurai smirked.
"I think I feel more at ease with this relationship now. I hope to do you both proud." Mirei smiled.
"Don't worry, I get the feeling you already are." Jurai assured and kiss her on the lips.
Mirei is surprised of this but sink into the kiss none the less while Shirahoshi smiles at this and Tomoyo who has been secretly watching the whole scene let out a sigh.
"Well, looks like Ando just added another thing to be annoyed about." Tomoyo said with a small smile on her face, and her heart racing for some reason.

The matter with Mirei Kudo is done as the open relationship is still going on after revealing to her about the letter and how the two feel about Mirei, and it looks like Tomoyo may start to feel something toward Jurai too.
