Goin' KABOOM!

Chapter 36: A Kaboom's Confession

Mr. Kaboom went and grabbed what looked to be a photo of Katie and Tiffany when they were younger from his wallet. Katie looked to be about 7 in it and Tiffany was a young teenager, probably 14 or 15.

It was strange but in the photo, they seemed to be getting along given how they smiled at the camera, and not the forced smiled they have been giving each other all evening either.

"They actually look happy to be around each other. Like, they don't actually want to tear each other's hair like tonight..."Danny said and Mr. Kaboom sighed.

"You noticed that too. Well, this is back when they used to get along..."He said, looking regretful about something.

"Please go on..."Danny said, needing to know.

"Katie and Tiffany used to be normal..."He said as he presented it to Danny. "But then it happened..."He added as he massaged his temples.

"So... uh... what exactly is making them... do that transformation thing, exactly? What do you mean by a curse? What's going on here?..." Danny demanded, needing to know.

Mr. KaBoom sighed.

"You probably won't believe me..."The man said, he then notices Danny sending him an "are you kidding me" look.

"Right... literal ghost town..."He said while the boy looked his eyes.

"So, the reason?..."The boy asked, wanting his question to be answered.

Mr. KaBoom sighed again, knowing he can't procrastinate anymore. This was not an easy topic to discuss, but the boy deserves to know the truth. Even if it hurt to talk about it. He stared Danny in the eye as he talked.

"Like I said, it's a curse, one that's all my great-great-great-great grandfather's fault..."He said as he showed the boy a photo album that was in a nearby book case.

There, he showed an old fashioned photo of the man who was responsible for this.

One that kinda looked a bit like Mr. Kaboom but with an old 19th century beard, clothes and top hat, showing that his man was from an era long ago.

"So, this is him?..."Danny asked and Mr. Kaboom nodded.

"Yes, my ancestor, Kevin Kent...the one who started it all..."He said as he began to talk about his family history.

"Long time ago, an ancestor named Kevin Kent broke a girl's heart when he left her at the alter for another woman and married her instead. Her mother, I think it was a gypsy or a witch, cursed his new bride and their bloodline... so that from now, any girls born in his family would... well, you saw what happened..."He said.

Danny's eyes widened upon hearing that.

"Seriously?!..."He said before pausing.

After dealing with ghosts for almost a year and a clingy girlfriend that can turn into a monster, curses and witches weren't that farfetched for him but still, it's a lot to take in.

"Yes, seriously. She cursed our family and made sure that it only affects the girls..."Mr. Kaboom said and Danny noticed something.

"Girls? Only girls have this curse?..." Danny asked and the man nodded.

"Yeah...apparently the witch felt that it was the daughters that would do best for some reason..."He said, looking down. "Me and my brother never once..acted like that...and we never believed it, neither did my father or his brothers...because they had no daughters. They were lucky. I never imagined things could get so chaotic but my family hadn't had girls until my brother and I married..."He said as leaned back.

The ghost boy felt some relief to be getting information before his curiosity got to him.

"You hadn't had girls since then?..."Danny asked and the man elaborated further.

"Yes and no, Tiffany and Katie were the first girls born in our family in generations. Apparently, Kevin Kent only ever had boys, the curse didn't happen until his grandkids were born..."He said as he showed an old picture of his ancestor, along with his wife and children.

He then turned the page and pointed to another picture, one that was a woman who looked familiar to Danny.

"This was the first victim of the curse, my great-great-grandmother..."Mr. Kaboom said.

Danny blinked to clear his vision as he saw another picture that got his attention.

He saw a picture of a beautiful looking woman in old fashion clothes, obviously there's a family resemblance that Danny picked up, especially since it was very obvious.

"She looks like Katie..."Danny said, staring at the woman who looked too much like the blonde girl he knew.

"Yeah but it's the woman who was cursed..."Johnathan said as he continued.

"This is Patricia Kent or Kaboom as they started going by, she also went by Patsy. She was Kevin Kent's only granddaughter and the first woman in our family who had the curse..."He said as he took a deep breath.

Danny listened until he noticed something.

"Wait... the name... Kent to Kaboom?..."He asked and Mr. Kaboom nodded.

"Yes, the name changed. It seems that out of resentment for what he had done, Kevin Kent's grandsons changed their name to Kaboom, because they realized their daughters were destined to be time bombs of teenage emotions..."He explained.

"Really?..." Danny asked.

The man nodded and took a deep breath.

"Really..."He said, looking away in shame.

"When exactly did this happen?" Danny asked.

"Late 1800's, around summer when the witch cast the spell but it was many years later, when Patricia became a teenager..."The man said before continuing.

"It took years to learn the full story but according to my ancestor's journal, Ol' Great Grand Patsy was a very beautiful woman...but she had a nasty temper and the lady who cursed her used that to her advantage..."He said as he shuddered.

"Every time she got angry... she turned into... that..." Danny realized.

The man nodded.

"Yes, she seemed like she was a normal lady at first, acting all nice and perfect but apparently, once she entered puberty, the curse took hold...she would change over the smallest things and do destruction. It seems to get stronger with how they get. We always thought it was a freak storm that destroyed their house..."He said, groaning.

"I never really believed those old stories that she was a monster...that it was just a silly story our family passed down like our own personal boogeyman...boy, was I wrong and so was my brother..."He said, facepalmed.

"Really?..."Danny asked and the man nodded before he continued with his story.

"Really and there's ore. Apparently, it was in old New York, where Patsy apparently met her future husband, Nathaniel. Apparently, she fell utterly in love with him since to the point where they were inseparable and he broke things off with the woman he didn't really love. It wasn't long until they left town and got married..."Mr. Kaboom said as he showed the old picture of the happy couple. "But as you can guess, the curse didn't go away, it just got worse..."He said as he showed the picture of his ancestors.

He had a look towards the photo. One that was both sympathy and resentment. Danny noticed that the two in the picture were Patsy and Nathaniel. While the woman seemed blissfully happy, her husband seemed like she was keeping him prisoner thanks to his terrified smile.

He knew that smile. One that hit too close to him given his own situation...it's one he had when around Katie for the past few weeks.

"It already happened..."He said.

"Yeah, we thought it was just hogwash...until the day Tiffany turned 12..."He said, shaking his head.

"My brother called me and told me what happened, that she suddenly turned into a monster after getting into a fight with her mother about a boy she liked who was too old for her and their house was destroyed, forcing them to move..."He said, horrifying Danny in the process.

"Whoa..."Danny said.

"Yeah, it looked like a tornado hit their home, at least that's what we thought at first..."He said.

"Well, Katie and her cousin do seem to act like a force of nature..." Danny thought.

"And as for Katie..." Jonathan said, he winced at saying his daughter's name, as if talking about her risked her wrath.

"And I thought I had issues with her..."Danny thought as the man showed something else.

He pulled out a picture from his wallet. It's a picture of Katie when she was a little girl. She looked to be around four or five, with her blonde hair in pigtails, a blue dress and holding a teddy bear in her arms as she smiled innocently to the camera.

The father sighed as he glanced at the photo with a tear falling from his eye.

"She used to be such a sweet little girl..."Mr. Kaboom said as he touched the photo, smiling sadly. "But then IT happened and changed her. And then...well you know how curses are..."He revealed, giving off a horrified face.

"It's a nightmare having to deal with her outbursts. Not to mention the danger..."Mrs. Kaboom added, she almost broke into tears.

Danny hated hearing this, more once he realized that this was worse than he thought.

"Wait...you mean...she...she does this all the time, doesn't she?..."Danny asked, getting a bad feeling.

Her parents nodded.

"I love my daughter very much but...I have trouble saying no to her..."Mr. Kaboom sighed.

"You have no idea how hard it is living with her. There was the time she destroyed the house when an old boyfriend of hers was running late, or the time she destroyed our car during her first driving lesson, and I can't forget when I forgot to take her phone message and she thought it was important..."Mr. Kaboom said, whimpering at the end.

"Don't forget the time she threw a fit when I didn't want her to go to school wearing a revealing outfit, freaking out over a pimple and a date on the same night, or when we tried to give her a curfew for midnight on Prom night..."Mrs. Kaboom confessed, looking like she'd drop right now.

Danny was floored, his previous beliefs of Katie's self-control were gone now and realized her family was of no help at all.

"They can't control her at all!..."He thought in horror.

He now realizes this is worse than he expected. This means her family had no means to stop this, which a part of him had kinda been depending on. Now, it looks like telling Katie now would do harm to this house and its occupants.

That means he can't say anything yet...or he at least had to take Katie where she couldn't cause any damage.

Still, he was curious about something.

"Does Katie know? Because she acts oblivious and she's not even making a big deal about the current state of your house...does she even have some awareness of this?..."Danny asked, needing to know just how much of this is ignorance and how much is indifference.

Mr. Kaboom then shook her head.

"No, she doesn't know about her powers and neither does Tiffany..."He confessed, looking down.

"It seems the curse makes it so they have no ability to either remember or recognize what they did…"Mrs. Kaboom said, speaking for the first time since his tale started.

Danny did not like hearing that.

"How come you never told Katie? Or Tiffany?…"Danny asked, raising his shoulders.

The family looked to each other in exhausted sorrow, sighing loudly before they all slouched.

"Uh…did I miss something?…"Danny asked, looking lost.

Mr. Kaboom lit his pipe, taking a few puffs before sitting up straight. He stared at the ghost boy with neutral eyes. After a few more puffs, he spoke up.

"We have tried to in the past…but they wouldn't believe us…"He pointed to a trash can. "And any camera we tried to use got smashed in the rampage. We now buy disposable cameras, but it's still annoying…"He muttered.

"It's true…"Mrs. Kaboom said. "Anytime time we brought it up, Katie thinks we've been watching too many movies, not getting enough sleep. She has no memory of turning into a monster, just vaguely remembering what her anger was about, so she believes we were overreacting. She's been thinking that for years. Plus, even when she sees the damages, she just believes it's a normal occurrence or a coincidence. Probably a side effect of the curse, she has no memory of what she did or at least HOW things were really like. We pretty much given up at this point..."She said, eye twitching.

"And you guys didn't try to filming her from distance or something?..."Danny asked incredulously.

The two adults just had that dead look on their faces, which disturbed him to no end.

"We've stopped trying. There isn't any point to filming it since the equipment is doomed to be smashed or destroyed in the collateral...and we haven't had a day without worry since people if anyone found out about the fact that these monster attacks were Katie, they'd sick the military on her..."Mr. Kaboom said in a dead tone, which surprised the ghost boy.

Danny looked to Mitch, who had the same defeated face, staring back at him.

"Do I have to add anything you don't know?…"Mitch asked.

Danny sighed in defeat, feeling as glum as the family.

"Wonderful..." He thought sarcastically.

"Maybe how to tell Katie to give me some space?..." Danny asked under his breath but Mitch heard him.

"Try it..."Mitch muttered, knowing it's the same with Tiffany. "We all saw how clingy she was but-..."He was cut off when Danny swung his arms up, looking exasperated.

"Clingy!?…"Danny stormed up to the man, looking beyond ticked at this point. "Have you seen her!? She makes boa constrictors look soft! She holds onto me all the time and kisses me whenever she feels like it, even when I just want to leave! How is that clingy!? It's borderline harassment!"..."He snapped.

"Danny..."Jazz said in concern as her brother kept shouting.

"She's always finding some excuse to touch me and make out with me, like personal space doesn't exist to her!..."Danny yelled, rubbing his arms in disgust.

The family stared at the panting ghost boy, genuinely confused. The father scratched his head, looking to his wife, who shrugged. Even Tinker had a stupefied face as he walked up to Danny.

"Isn't that a good thing?..." Tinker asked, looking naive.

"Uh... no. Even ignoring her... situation, most people aren't that creepily attached to anyone. They also don't act like a cartoon character. It's the kind of thing I'd get a restraining order for!..."He snapped..

The Kaboom family just stared incredulously, surprised someone is acting like this since this was the norm back home.

"It was normal back in Acmeville…"Mr. KaBoom pointed behind him with a thumb.

"How's that normal in Acmeville?!…"Danny asked incredulously.

"You'd be surprised about what's considerered normal there…"Mrs. Kaboom said, shrugging.

Danny and the others just sent them incredulous looks, as if they just explained something like ketchup is made from fish.

Finally, the ghost boy sent them a flat look and spoke up, looking at then like they are idiots.

"No offense, but why did you ever leave that place? It sounds like your lives would have better if you never left..."Danny muttered, given that everyone he's encountered from there seems to be insane or unstable.

The Kaboom family just sighed in depression, it was obviously a touchy subject for them but they figured it was no pointing hiding it from a boyfriend who didn't love their daughter.

"We'd love to have stayed, but we can't..." Mrs. Kaboom said, looking sad.

Danny raised a brow.

"Uh, why?..."He asked.

"We've had... troubles. That includes that our insurance wouldn't cover the house anymore..." Mrs. Kaboom said, looking to her husband.

"It's true we had... some less than ideal situations back home, but we heard how... interesting this place was..." Mr. Kaboom said.

"What? What do you mean by interesting? Like the local food?..."Danny asked while the others demanded answers.

Katie's family members just looked at him flatly.

"I meant all the ghosts and stuff..." Mr. Kaboom clarified.

Danny raised an eyebrow as he continued.

"We...uh...had a bad experience just before we moved there and it was no longer safe. Katie thinks that it was just because of someone she used to know causing trouble but the truth is...we came here because our insurance company wouldn't cover for us anymore..."He explained.

"Apparently, the place I used to work for had a change in management. I did taxes at a movie studio, but then my old boss left for... stress reasons and the new CEO wasn't as... well, let's just say that she was slightly less tolerant of the way people at the office acted and a lot of us got laid off. So, we just can't stay there anymore..."He said, looking miserable.

"Okay, and what's that got to do with Katie and you guys moving to Amity Park?..."Danny said while the adults continued.

"One thing about Acmeville is that...it's so out of the norm that Katie's condition was just seen as an everyday occurrence and even then, we trained her to keep her calm in public. I told her that it's not very polite to lose your cool in public..."Mrs. Kaboom said.

"I guess that explains why it took me a while to figure it out..."Danny thought as they kept talking.

"Yeah but we never expected someone to find out..."Mr. Kaboom added, still surprised.

"There's so many large... monsters and villains, from that two-legged iguana with one eye to that attractive young lady dressed like a 70's rock band. We just thought her losing her temper and running rampant would be... just another day here..." Mrs. Kaboom added.

Danny heard this and just felt angry. So did the others but before they could voice their complaints, the ghost boy beat them to it.

"THAT DOESN'T MEAN PEOPLE ARE OKAY WITH MONSTERS AND STUFF CAUSING PROPERTY ON A DAILY BASIS!..."He yelled at them.

The Kabooms flinched at that.

"Well, we didn't say it'd be the best idea. Plus, this town supposedly has it's own superhero...we were sure he'd handle it if things got out of hand..."Mr. Kaboom said, not realizing the irony in what he just said.

"He's working on it..."Danny thought, not able to say that out loud.

He couldn't believe that the reason they moved here was that they heard about him and now, they apparently think that he can handle their mess. Granted, it seemed like a good idea on paper, but the ghost boy could barely handle Katie, in both human and monster form.

"I think you shouldn't move to a town just because they have a hero and because you can't control your daughter..."He said, not saying a word as to why.

"That's a funny thing to say..."Mrs. Kaboom said, pondering on the sentence.

"I thought superheroes always beat the monster..."Tinker commented, recalling the movies.

"Well... I... saw him fight your daughter. I don't think he did that well since, obviously, she's not a ghost..."Danny lied while Mr. Kaboom sighed bitterly.

"I was afraid something like that would happen. But at the very least, she's been a little calmer here compared to back home..."He said.

"She's CALMER here?!..."Danny grimaced with a silent gulp, he was really starting to see a grim future and not with a chance out.

"What do I do?..." Danny asked out loud, feeling limited options right now.

The Kabooms just felt guilty for roping him into this whole mess and decided to just be frank with him.

"Look, you seem like a nice boy, and while I would look forward to be a grandfather... unless you guarantee it's all boys, I'd say run for it..."He said, not sugar-coating it.

Danny was sweating.

"Grandfather?!..."He thought in horror.

Not only is Katie apparently intending to marry him some day but she has no idea she'd be spreading a curse. Not to mention, he had no way of ensuring they'd only ever have boys.

For all he knows, they'd end up having a girl..or two...maybe even EIGHT girls who'd possibly destroy Amity Park in a fit of uncontrollable anger.

"I can't let that happen, no chance..."He thought as gulped hard.

"I don't know if that's even possible." He says in a whisper.

"That's what I thought..."He said, shaking his head in disapproval. "Like I said, I don't want anyone else to suffer like we have..."He said, looking guilty.

It's clear now that these people are more prisoners than he is, and so he feared for them too.

Still, despite everything the family did, the ghost boy couldn't help but feel sorry for them. He wanted to do more for them but wasn't sure if that was the right choice.

"What about you guys?" He asked, not wanting them stuck like this, despite all the trouble they caused him by moving here.

"It's too late for us... but if you- Oh hi, Princess! You're back!..." Mr. Kaboom went as his daughter came back in, carrying the ice cream.

"I got the ice cream..."Katie said, looking confused. "What did I miss?..."She asked, noticing a weird tension in the room.

"Oh...uh...nothing much...Just having a chat with Danny here..."Mr. Kaboom lied quickly, sweating nervously.

Danny was appalled to see the look of genuine fear in the man's eyes, just like his wife's.

"They really are afraid of her..."Danny thought, not liking this.

"I see your ice cream, Darling" Mrs. Kaboom said nervously.

"Yeah and soon as this is done, I wanna have a walk with Danny. It'd be so fun...and private..."She said, smiling happily.

Sam glared at that while Jazz seemed concerned and Danny just felt his left eye twitch, not wanting any of this. While Katie and her gushing of Danny continued, Mrs. Kaboom leaned closer to Danny and gave a warning.

"Go...now, when you have the chance..."She whispered to him, eyes darting to the door before turning to her daughter.

"Uh, Darling...remember, Danny did say that his parents wanted him back soon..."Mrs. Kaboom reminded.

Katie frowned at that.

"I know but...he came back..."She said as she looked at Danny.

Danny looked between them and the door and gulped.

"I can't stay..."The ghost boy said.

His plan to speak with her will have to wait. If she got upset here, her family would be caught in the crossfire of her tantrum, if she has would not risk their lives.

Then there's Mitch, who can't handle one monster, so he won't handle two very well.

"Mitch and Tiffany...it's almost exactly like how we met...except he didn't see her monster side until it was too late..."He thought, not liking this.

He was starting to imagine this as his future with Katie...one where he brought more that one monster into the world that left Amity Park in ruin and he wouldn't be able to do a thing about it.

The thought got wound up in his head so much, he began envisioning it already. Starting with their supposed one-sided shotgun of a wedding, which would probably be the only thing keeping Katie from transforming at the moment.

He didn't want to, but it flashed in his mind.

DayDream/Day-Nightmare

Danny stood in a place he didn't recognize, with a nicer outfit than his usual clothes. He soon saw what it was.

"A tux? Where did this come from?..."He asked out loud but got no answer.

That's when he heard it. The sound of bells...and not just any kind of bells.

"Wedding bells?..." He asked, seeing a church right next to them.

"What the..."He let out, wondering what is going on.

"Oh Danny!~..."A lovesick voice said.

"Oh no..."He whispered in dread.

Danny turned to face her again and the color on his face drained when he saw that it was Katie, who is beaming at him. She was now wearing a white wedding dress, veil and carrying a bouquet of flowers.

"Time for us to tie the knot!~..." She said in a sing-song voice.

"NOOO!..."Danny yelled as he tried to run but she dragged him by the arm.

Her hand turned into a large green one, pulling him against his will, lifting him in the air and carrying him inside. He kicked his legs, trying to reach the ground but couldn't. She's too strong here. She was unknowingly hurting him with just her grip. And it seems like she wasn't putting any effort in her hands. She turned him around and the ghost boy shuddered in fear as he knew that he was trapped here.

"This can't be happening! This can't be happening..."He thought but it was indeed happening.

He was stuck here with an unwanted bride who wasn't going to let him go.

She still had her pretty face, but her eyes glowed a bright white and she had an almost possessive expression on her face as she held him with both hands, refusing to let him go. She then sent him a lovesick smile and leaned closer.

"You may kiss the bride..." She said playfully before puckering her lips at him.

"NOOOO!..." Danny shouted as the gap between their faces shrank, specifically their mouths.

He shut his eyes before contact was made, sealing his fate.

End of Day Dream/ Day Nightmare

In Reality

Danny started to breathe heavy as he broke into a cold sweat at that thought.

"I have to end this... now..." He thought, shaking at the legs.

"Danny...what's wrong?..."Katie's voice asked, noticing his sudden state of being.

Danny snapped out of it, pulling away when she tried reaching for him, much to her confusion.

"Danny... you okay?..." Katie's voice asked, while the ghost boy gulped, impatiently wanting to get away.

He was at least relieved that she wasn't wearing a wedding dress at least but he wasn't any less nervous right now. He snapped out of it and recalled what Katie's parents said earlier, figuring he can find another way to let her down without them getting in a crossfire.

"I...I really do have to go home now..."He said, keeping a distance from her.

"Really? You sure you can't stay a little longer?..."Katie asked, saddened and almost whining.

"Really. It's getting late. Plus, my parents called...while you were gone..."He lied, hoping she believes it.

"Oh...I see..."Katie said, pouting a bit.

Sam narrowed her eyes at that, sending her an incredulous look.

"Seriously. She's in total need of learning boundaries..."Sam thought as the girl bought the lie.

"Yeah, they say I'm going to be late. So, I got to get home soon..."Danny lied with a fake smile."I really don't wanna stay..."He muttered under his breath.

"Huh?..." Katie asked and Danny realized his near slip-up.

"There's no way I'm getting grounded..." He lied again, with a nervous smile.

"Oh... I guess that makes sense. Let me walk you out..."She said as she took him by the arm.

"Uh, what about us?..."Sam demanded, her arms crossed and not wanting to leave them alone.

The blonde girl sent her a glare but didn't morph...at least not yet.

"You know your way home, so...I suggest that you get home soon..."Katie said rudely as she went outside with Danny, not caring about the goth girl.

Sam clenched her fists while Katie's parents groaned.

"She's more territorial than before..."Her parents thought, feeling pity for Danny while Tiffany appeared.

"Hey, when are you guys gonna grab a scoop?..."She said, looking impatient as she held the ice cream scooper.

Outside

Danny was dragged outside by Katie, holding him by the wrists.

"So, we got time..."Katie said, wanting his attention back on her.

Danny momentarily forgot his fear, replacing it with anger.

"That was rude, what you said to my friends and sister..."He said, frowning hard.

"Well, I tried to be nice but it's been a long night..."She said, smiling. "Lemme make it up to you by waking you home…"She said, thinking that would please him.

It didn't and the boy stepped back from her, much to her confusion.

"NO! Heheheh... you still have a guest to entertain, remember?..." Danny reminded her.

Katie looked confused before shouting was heard.

"HELLO?! What's going on?!..." Tiffany called out from inside, apparently having lost patience about something.

Danny heard this and sighed.

"Though I can see why you'd rather walk with me..."He muttered.

"Without question..."She said, groaning.

She then sent him a smile and patted him on the shoulder.

"Alright but I wish you stayed longer..and before you go..."She said as she leaned forward and puckered her lips.

"Oh man..."He thought in a panic.

Danny tried to pull away but before she kissed him, the shouting got louder.

"HEY! EVERYONE! WHERE IS KATIE?!..." Tiffany shrieked, her voice going throughout the house.

"Ugh!..." Katie said, pulling back, shaking her head.

"Relief..." Danny thought.

"Just keep calm..."Katie said, trying hard not to lose her cool.

Danny gulped.

"Soon as they get out, I'm gone..."He thought as he watched his friends leave the Kaboom house and gave the signal to go.

"Well, it was fun but I really have to get going..." He said quickly.

"You sure you don't at least want a ride? My dad or Mitch could-..."

"NO! No… haha… no thanks. I don't want to impose..." He said.

He had to get out of here...if he's not careful, he may very well end up like Mitch has. A fate that he will fight no matter what.

"There's no way I'm going to end up like that guy..."He muttered as he took a breath, speaking too low for her to hear him properly.

"Huh? What was that?..."Katie asked.

"Nothing important..."Danny lied.

He thought of how long it's been, realizing it's been long enough and he has to leave and think about a better plan. He figured he could turn invisible if she tried following him.

Talking to her was now out of the question, at least with everyone around. He realized now is a bad time, as if she loses her temper, she might take it out on her family.

"I'll have to tell her another time... where she won't take it out on her family..."He thought, wanting to avoid casualties.

Then the yelling continued.

"WILL YOU STOP IGNORING ME?!..." She cries out, sounding more impatient.

"Sheesh..."Danny thought as he heard more arguments coming from inside.

"N-Now Sweetheart..." Mitch was heard, trying to calm her down.

"NO! DON'T DEFEND THEM THIS TIME! THIS WAS OUR TIME, NOT SOME NOBODY THEY MET IN THIS TOWN!..." She shouted inside the house. "WHO CARES FOR DEREK OR WHATEVER HIS NAME IS?! THIS WAS OUR NIGHT!..."She shouted as it echoed throughout the house.

"What did she say?!..." Katie asked, her fist shaking.

Katie couldn't see the transformation from where she and Danny were, but Danny knew what was about to happen and took advantage of the situation.

"Well... NIGHT!..." He said, running as fast as he could until he was out of her sight.

"Danny?..." Katie asked before snarling and looking over her shoulder, eyes turning red.

She was upset by her cousin's obnoxious behavior and upset about the fact that she didn't even get a good night kiss to boot!

The blonde felt her temper rise again and her eyes began to turn white and menacing once more.

"TIFFANY!..."She yelled, red faced and eyes glowing more and more.

Meanwhile

Danny ran fast enough until he knew he was out of her sight and found a safe hiding spot to transform.

"Finally..."He said, relieved that she didn't seem to follow him.

"Okay, now let's see if I got enough for this." He said as he made sure no one was around to see this.

Once he was in the clear, he smirked.

"I'm goin' ghost!..."

With Katie

Katie stormed into the living room. Her skin turned green and hair turned black once more. Neither she not Tiffany noticed each other's transformations, only who their anger was directed at.

"YOU MADE HIM LEAVE! AGAIN!..." Katie yelled, fangs sprouting out.

"YOU HELPED HIM RUIN WHAT'S SUPPOSED TO BE MY NIGHT!"Tiffany shouted, her own fangs showing.

"IT WAS OUR NIGHT!..."Katie yelled as she grew.

"NO! IT WAS MINE!..."Tiffany yelled back both were now 10 feet tall.

"Duck and cover!..." Mr. Kaboom shouted as he grabbed his army helmet as he and his family ran for cover.

"Tiffany...sweetheart...please calm down..."Mitch begged but was ignored as the two snarled at each other. "Let's get some more ice cream and talk this over..."He suggested.

"THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ICE CREAM IN THE WORLD TO PUT UP WITH HER!..."Tiffany yelled.

"ME?! YOU THINK THE WORLD NEEDS TO REVOLVE AROUND YOU!?..."Katie yelled, ready to tackle her and bring pain like never before.

However, before the two she-beasts could brawl, they were interrupted when blasts of ectoplasm hit them both in the back of the head, not enough to hurt, but to get their attention.

"OUCH!..."They both yelled and turned to see who sent it.

"Hey, the neighbors are having a noise complaint!..." Danny Phantom said, getting the she-beasts attention.

"What in the world?!..." Mrs. Kaboom asks, while her son looked relieved and even excited by who appeared.

"It's Danny Phantom, the super hero!..." Tinker shouted, looking excited.

The female monsters just stopped fighting while Monster Katie snarled at the sight of him.

"YOU! AGAIN?!..." Monster Katie roared in anger.

"Yes, ME!..."Danny said, his eyes glowing as he faced both Katie and her cousin.

Oh boy.
