A/N: Basically starting out the same way as the last story. And who knows, this one may be a bit bigger too.

Chapter One: Attack of Tyrantrum

A faint heartbeat filled sounds within the little Pokémon's egg and he gurgled as he slowly moved about in the shell. The baby Pokémon took a deep breath before exhaling. A light outside of his egg showed moving shapes while inside the little Pokémon continued moving about slowly. The Pokémon could hear sounds like screeches and bellows coming from the outside world as he waited for the day to come and step into the larger world.

Plio: Somethings may start out big, and some things can start out small, very small.

The little Pokémon cooed while opening his eyes for just a moment. He could hear and feel movement close by outside of his egg.

Plio: But sometimes even the smallest thing can make the biggest changes of all.

Pokémon

Outside in the world, the little Pokémon's mother, a Charizard bellowed as she lowered her snout to the eggs. She nuzzled the small egg in the middle before raising her head away from them. She smiled as she looked down at her clutch of eggs and was about to inspect the others when a sound caught her ears. Raising up on her hind legs a little she turned to the left to see a flock of Spearow flying from a grove of trees. The Charizard smelled for any danger, but nothing came to her. So thinking that there was nothing to worry about, she lowered herself back down. Then with a sigh she gently pushed the egg in the middle to the side with her hand.

The coming of a young Tepig made her look down at the smaller Pokémon. The young Fire Pig sniffed at the eggs before the Charizard shooed the little one away with a swipe of her hand. But the Tepig came back and sniffed at the eggs again. With an irritated roar, the Charizard mother lunged at the Tepig, but didn't follow after the shrieking Pokémon when it ran off.

The little Tepig ran towards another nest, but the Pokémon mother there roared it and made the smaller Pokémon run off with a shriek. The young Deadly Natter ran to the lake where other different types of Pokémon and a few tall Tropius were either eating or drinking water. The young Tepig ran through the shallow waters and it scared a few Pikipek off. The Woodpecker Pokémon out flew the Tepig and took off higher into the sky. The Fire Pig Pokémon looked up and watched as they flew away. The young Pokémon sighed before a quickly flying object took away its attention.

A Vibrava landed on a fallen branch not too far from the Tepig. The Fire Pig Pokémon snorted as it moved closer. A Yanma flew close to the Vibrava and it lunged forward before grabbing it with its jaws. The Clear Wing Pokémon disappeared as the Vibrava ate it but flew away when the Tepig came running up. The Tepig started to chase it and even tried to catch it when they neared the tree line. When it disappeared into trees the Fire Pig Pokémon followed it in but quickly lost sight of it. Jumping up into the air and hovering for a second with its wings to look around. The little Pokémon landed on the ground and continued to look around when something zipped by. The Tepig followed the Vibrava deeper into the forest and saw that it had landed on a root. When it tried to get closer, the Tepig made the Vibrava open its wings and take off again. But this time it landed on the tree trunk above the Tepig

But the sound of a Pokémon exhaling caused the Tepig to nervously think that it wasn't a tree. A drop of liquid fell on the root in front of the Tepig and noticed that it wasn't water, but the drool from something. The Fire Pig looked up to see as the bigger Pokémon started snuffling. The sound of low growling caused the little dinosaur to nervously back away. What the little one saw next frightened them the most. A head with scary red eyes and a huge row of sharp teeth moved from out of hiding and opened its jaws wide.

The Tepig quickly turned and ran back out of the way. As it came out of the forest and back to the others, it shrieked a warning as it ran. All the other Pokémon looked towards it as it continued to shriek. One Rhyhorn bellowed when it raised its head from the water. The Tepig continued to shriek its name as it ran when suddenly a monstrous dragon; a large, red Tyrantrum came charging out of the brush with a roar. The bigger Pokémon ran on two powerful back legs to try and capture its meal. The Tyrantrum looked down at the easy meal as the Tepig continued crying out in fear. But when the Tyrantrum was about to chomp down on the smaller Pokémon, it looked up to see much bigger prey. With a roar it thundered past the Tepig for a much bigger meal.

The incoming monster caused the other Pokémon herds to turn and run away in fear. The Charizard mother tried to defend her eggs, but with the rushing stampede of Pokémon it was proving to be difficult as she was knocked into by the other Pokémon. The Tyrantrum continued to growl as it looked at the choices of its next meal. The Charizard mother continued to try and protect her eggs, but she was knocked into by yet another dragon. When she saw that the Tyrantrum was getting too close, the Charizard mother made a hard choice before running after the stampede of Pokémon.

The Tyrantrum let loose another roar as it ran through and stomped on the Charizard's nest, crushing all but one of the eggs. The remaining egg slightly jumped before sitting still on the rock. The Tyrantrum growled again as a few other Pokémon were able to get away before looking to one that was lagging. An old Rhyhorn fell behind the others as it began to tire and glanced back in fear as the Tyrantrum got closer. The Rhyhorn panted from all the running and looked fearful as it knew that it wouldn't make it. When the Tyrantrum had come up beside the Rhyhorn, it quickly slammed its jaws down on the back of the Rhyhorn's neck and in turn making it shriek in pain as it fell on its side. The Tyrantrum grunted when it let go and then bit down on the Rhyhorn's exposed neck. When it laid lifeless underneath it, the Tyrantrum placed one of its back feet on its wings before raising its head and roaring from its victory. The Tyrantrum then started to feast on its catch while all the other Pokémon continued to run away.

Author's Note: Yeah I know, this chapter is a little shorter as the next chapter will be. But don't worry, we'll get to the action real soon. I look forward to reading your reviews.
