Chapter Two: From One Home to Another

A few yards back, the Charizard's small, red egg laid still, unaware of went on outside. A squawking sound from a creature came as a walked up to the destroyed nest, "Combusken."

The Young Fowl Pokémon looked down at the Pokémon egg and inspected it to see if it was still fresh. It continued to squawk or say its name as it watched the egg and got its answer when the egg moved a little. With a quick grab with its claws, the Combusken lifted the egg off the ground and looked about for signs of trouble before taking off with the egg in its clutches. It ran back the way that the Tyrantrum had come and disappeared into the trees. The Combusken soon came across a creek and ran up a root that touched into the water. Once it was on the other side of the creek, the Young Fowl Pokémon ran across another log to another section of the woods. The wood bounced a little as the Combusken ran across it. When it came to the top of a hill next to the creek, the Combusken came to a stop.

The Young Fowl Pokémon looked around again for any signs of danger to it or its meal, and when it didn't see anything it looked down at the Pokémon egg in its claws. Then it simply dropped the egg to see if it would crack open, but it didn't. In irritation the Combusken picked the egg back up before throwing it down a little harder, but it still didn't break open. Then picking it up once again, the Combusken tried cracking it by tapping it against the ground. When it still didn't break, the Combusken decided to try a different tactic. Setting the egg back down on the ground, the Combusken reared its head back to use its Peck attack.

As the Combusken was about to bring its beak down on the shell, the trill of another Pokémon made the first look around, "Golduck!"

Combusken looked around for the Duck Pokémon. When it wasn't looking, the Golduck quickly came in and grabbed the egg making the Combusken squawk in surprise and anger. Combusken lunged at the Golduck and tried to grab for the egg and the bird-like Pokémon fought for the egg by holding on to it. They both had a grip on the egg and the two Pokémon fought over it by trying to pull it away from the other. But soon their grip on it loosened and the two bird-like Pokémon tried to grab it but only made it go higher into the air. Soon it went over the edge of the cliff and fell into the creek. Both Pokémon watched as the egg disappeared into the water before floating away down the current. When it was gone the two bird-like Pokémon looked to each other before getting into a battle with each other. Both prepared a Scratch attack and scratched up a storm.

The Pokémon egg continued to float down into a larger river as a Swampert came swimming up to it. Thinking that it was something else, the Mud Fish Pokémon closed its jaws around the egg. But before it swallowed, it could feel what it was and spat the egg back out into the river. Then with an eye roll, the Swampert turned away from the floating egg.

The egg started to rise to the surface where two legendary Pokémon, Reshiram and Zekrom, were growling and snorting at each other. When the egg popped up to the surface and it caused the two to stop for a moment. One of the two sniffed the egg as it went by. When it was gone the two legendries looked to each other with curiosity before bellowing at each other again. The two flapped up into the air and Reshiram used Flamethrower while Zekrom used Thunderbolt. The two attacks collided with each other

The egg floated to a stretch of the river where a herd of Rhyhorn had come to drink. As the Spike Pokémon lapped the water, it made the Charizard's egg tumble in the water. It was sent floating away from the herd when one Rhyhorn pushed its way with Bulldoze to get between to others. As the egg was swept away by the current, a flying Salamance and it scooped the egg from the water with its jaws. The Dragon Pokémon flew to the end of the river before diving down beside the waterfall. When it was but just a few inches from the bottom of the falls the Salamance pulled up and flew past a few other flying dragons. The Dragon Pokémon grunted its name as it flew through a canyon before flying up the side of it. The Salamance flew over a few trees and came upon a large gathering of Pokémon. It flew over most of the herd before flying underneath the tail of an Aurorus. It flew over the edge to another valley and started to make its way towards the sea.

Flying along the river to its end, the Salamance flew over the waters of the ocean and headed right for an island a few miles offshore. When the Dragon Pokémon reached the island it saw its Bagon children sitting in the nest. The called out their names as they wanted whatever their parent was bringing them. But as the Salamance pulled up against a rocky cliff, a couple of Archeops started to follow up after it. The Salamance flew over the two Bagons and they watched as their parent was being chased by the First Bird Pokémon. The Salamance and the two Archeops flew higher into the sky before the two smaller Pokémon started being pests to the Dragon Pokemon. The Salamance tried to keep a grip on the egg, but soon dropped it. The two Archeops continued to be pests to the Salamance as it flew away while the Pokémon egg fell to the ground. It fell into a forest and scared away a few furry creatures.
