The only thing that I do own are the OC's of the story. I apologize for any errors in grammar and/or if I was not accurate in reference to something.
A/N: I thought to give the pursuing Pokémon more of a motive for the chase scene. And I thought they were the best for the job.

Chapter Seven: Captured and Chased
The group continued to sleep soundly as the night went on. Soon, an hour or so before dawn came, one of Brock's ears raised when he heard a noise. He looked about outside the cave and became worried when he saw shapes scurrying about. Carefully moving to Sam and Cynthia, Brock quietly shook them awake. Both the Pikachu and Raichu's eyes fluttered open and Cynthia asked, "What is it?"
"There's something out there." Brock said and looked back outside. They all looked out the cave to see if they could see. They didn't really see anything at first, but suddenly a smell came about in the air. Cynthia looked to her father and brother and said, "Sweet Scent. I think something's trying to lull us into a false sense of security."
"We need to get out of here." Sam decided and Cynthia moved to wake up Blitz and Bonnie. She began to lightly shake them awake and Bonnie was the first to slowly open her eyes and asked, "Mom? What's going on?"
"We're leaving right now." Cynthia said as she continued to shake Blitz's shoulder. Blitz groaned as he weakly opened his eyes. Cynthia could tell that he was still not up to a hundred percent and looked down to his tail flame. The tail flame was a little bigger than what it was when they found the cave, but it wasn't back to its normal size yet. Blitz looked to his adopted mother and asked, "Mom? What's going on?"
"How are you feeling?" Cynthia asked, worried that he might not be able to get up. Blitz still felt a little weak from the previous night, but knew that if something was up, then he would need to help out. He started to get up when he said, "Strong enough to at least get us out of here."
"Then let's get going." Brock said as they maneuvered to sit on his back or head. Blitz moved to stand on his own two feet when they heard cackling coming from outside. The Charizard remained wary as he walked to the entrance, but didn't get very far when a multitude of voices shouted, "Poison Gas!"
A blast of black came at them and exploded in front of them. They all started coughing from the venomous attack. Blitz made sure to try and keep his family back, but the noxious gas was starting to get to them all. The Charizard started flapping his wings to try and fan the attack away. When the poisonous cloud dissipated, they tried to escape again, but a multitude of shapes moved in front of the entrance and started to swarm around the family. Blitz fired a Flamethrower while all the Mouse Pokémon fired a Thunder Shock and they caused the shapes to move out of the way.
The shapes once again released another Poison Gas attack. The entire family was enveloped by the noxious cloud and entered another coughing fit. Everyone suddenly felt woozy from it as Blitz dropped down on his knees. Cynthia looked to him and said, "Blitz, hang on!"
"I'm trying." Blitz said before he passed out and hit the ground. Sam, Cynthia, Brock and Bonnie all cried out as they tumbled off the Charizard. Cynthia looked to the unconscious Pokémon and weakly said, "Blitz… no."
All four of them fell unconscious and the invading Pokémon formed a circle around them. Blitz weakly opened his eye once to see that the Pokémon attacking them were black lizards. Another round of cackles echoed as he blacked out.
\_|_/
Blitz groaned as he could feel himself being moved, but didn't feel strong enough to do something about it. Though it felt like they were far away, he could hear a voice say, "Give him a little antidote."
"Yes, Milady." Someone else said. Blitz felt his body touch the ground and his head elevated. Then he felt his jaws pried open before some kind of liquid ran down his throat.
Whatever it was let his head go and Blitz's head started to clear a little but it still felt a little swimmy. He slowly opened his eyes to find himself in a dimly lit cave. Something had created torches on the walls. Blitz looked about to see that it was mostly empty. But when someone cleared their throat in front of him, Blitz looked in front of him to see another black lizard, but this one was a little taller, a lot more slender than the others and had markings like fire on her body. The black lizard was sitting on a throne made of rock. She had a big grin on her face as she looked Blitz over. Coming down from the throne she said, "My, my, my. You are a big one just like they said."
"Where am I?" The Flame Pokémon asked as he looked about. She stopped at the base of the throne and said, "You are in the lair of I, Toxica the Salazzle, queen of the Salandits of the Wastes."
"Where's my family?" Blitz then asked when he didn't see them anywhere. Toxica found it a little funny when she said, "Those four Mouse Pokémon? Your family?"
"Yes." Blitz said with a growl. Toxica put on a fake pout and said, "Oh, did I make you upset? I'm so sorry."
Blitz tried to get up, but found that he was still feeling weak. Toxica chuckled and said, "Yeah, the effects of the Poison Gas is still somewhat in effect. Not enough to put you down, but you're not back to full strength just yet.
"And not without a little more of this." She said while gesturing to a bowl filled with a pink liquid. Blitz looked to it and tried to think of something. But his gaze once again turned to Toxica as she came closer to him. Looking the Salazzle in the eye he asked, "What do you want?"
"I'm looking for a little fun. I want a strong mate. And I think that the two of us could pull it off." The Toxic Lizard Pokémon said, her grin never faltering. She gently took his chin with her hands and she said, "And I promise to be gentle."
That just sent a shiver down Blitz's spine and it wasn't a good one. He bared his teeth and questioned again, "Where is my family?"
"They're with the Salandits at the moment." Toxica said and looked down the tunnel. Then she said, "Right now, they're probably arguing whether to eat them or play with them for a bit."
This horrified Blitz but he couldn't do anything until the poison in his system had been cured. Toxica placed a hand on his chest and said, "You and I are going to have such a grand time together." She gave him a toothy grin when she asked, "So what do you say?"
"I'm flattered." Blitz said. But he didn't sound to happy when he said, "But I don't really like being held against my will."
"I would give you the rest of the antidote right now, but it's just a precaution so that you can't attack me." Toxica said as she leaned her head forward. Then she asked, "So what do you say?"
"I say…" Blitz said as he closed his eyes and pretended to think about it. When he opened them again he said with a glare, "That you need to let me and my family go right now."
As he said that, he was carefully using his tail to reach for the bowl. He coiled it around the bowl before flinging it up into the air. Toxica happened to look back and gasped when she saw the bowl flying. Blitz's head shot up and grabbed the bowl with his teeth. Then tilting the bowl towards him, he could feel the antidote rush past his teeth and down his throat. The effects came about instantly and Blitz shoved the Salazzle away from him. Toxica grunted when she fell to the ground and Blitz rose up on his feet. The Flame Pokémon rose up onto his feet and quickly tested his body to see if he still felt the effects of the Poison Gas. Her words rang in Blitz's head and it made him angry to think that his family was in danger. The anger of the Charizard caused the flame on his tail to grow a little more. When he felt good and ready, he saw Toxica on all fours hissing at him. She unleashed a Flamethrower at the Charizard and he unleashed his own right back. The two flames collided against each other. Blitz put a little more power into his attack and his Flamethrower overpowered hers. Toxica hissed as she jumped out of the way and the flames scorched the floor. Seeing how she was away from the exit, Blitz quickly made his way to the opening in the cave. Toxica shouted after him, "I will not let you escape!"
But Blitz didn't stop as he kept running through the caverns. He kept an ear out in case he heard his family. He didn't have to wait for very long as he heard Brock's voice, "You stay away from us!"
Then the sound of electricity crackled through the tunnels and it made Blitz go faster. He soon came upon a huge cavern where a great number of Salandits were gathered around Sam, Cynthia, Brock and Bonnie. The Raichu and two older Pikachus stood protectively in front of the younger Mouse Pokémon. Blitz let out a warning roar that made everyone look to him. He unleashed another Flamethrower that caused the crowd of Salandits to move out of the way. When he had a clear path, Blitz opened up his wings and flew towards his family. He landed in front of them and they hurried to climb up. When they were hanging on to his neck or horns, they looked about at the gathering horde of Salandits. Blitz nervously looked about as they started to come closer to them. One of the Salandits jumped at them and Bonnie screamed as Blitz moved his tail out of the way. When the Toxic Lizard Pokémon landed where the appendage was, the Charizard growled as he bashed his tail against the Salandit to knock him back. The little black lizard hissed as he flew through the air and crashed into his comrades. Blitz then opened his wings as far as they could go and flapped them to create a strong breeze that made the Salandits shield themselves. When they were good and distracted, Blitz took to the air before flying to one of the many tunnels. The Salandits looked to see the family escaping and rushed to catch them.
"So where did you go?" Brock asked his adopted nephew as they flew. Blitz glanced back and said, "I was basically having a chat with the queen of these guys."
"Oh, did she knight you or did she want something?" The Pikachu asked. Blitz shook his head as he flew and said, "I'd rather not speak about it."
"Oh, I see." Brock said as he placed a paw on his chin. Blitz groaned as he knew where this was going to go. Then he said, "I don't know, Blitz. A guy like you and a girl like her-"
He was stopped by a slap to the back of the head from his sister and niece. Brock held the back of his head as it really hurt. He glanced back and noticed that all three of them were giving glares. Turning his head around he said, "Okay, shutting up now."
"Stop them!" They heard Toxica shout behind them. Blitz managed to stay ahead of the incoming Toxic Lizard Pokémon horde as they scurried after the family. A bright light ahead told them they found the end of the tunnel. Blitz shot out of the tunnel before flapping up and standing on top of the entrance. Brock looked to his adopted nephew and said, "Uh, Blitz, I hate to be a back seat driver, but I was hoping to get as far away from the deranged Pokémon as we could."
"They messed with our family." Blitz said when he glanced to the Pikachu. Looking down where the entrance was he said, "I think we should show them what happens when they mess with us."
"What do you want us to do?" Cynthia asked, feeling that nothing they said was going to stop them. Blitz looked to her and said, "Give 'em a strong electric attack to go with my strongest fire type move."
"Got it." All four said as they went along with it. They waited a moment when they heard the scurrying Toxic Lizard Pokémon coming out of the cave. Toxica and her Salandits looked about before they heard Blitz shout, "Now!"
The Charizard fired his Flamethrower while the Raichu and Pikachu all fired a Thunder Shock at the Salazzle and her horde of Salandits. While most were able to get out of the way of the attacks, Toxica and two Salandits screamed as the attacks collided with them. The resulting explosion caused the trio to be rocketed up into the sky and they shouted, "Looks like this trio's blasting off!"
The vanished into the sky before the spot twinkled like a star. Bonnie looked around and said, "Uh, guys."
Everyone looked to see the rest of the Salandits climbing up the rock to get them. Taking it as a hint to leave, Blitz opened up his wings before jumping off the top of the cave entrance. He and his family started to fly away from the Clan of Toxic Lizard Pokémon. Brock happened to look back and he became worried when he said, "Not to burst anyone's bubble or anything, but they're still chasing after us."
Blitz looked back to see the horde still scurrying after them. One of the Salandits was suddenly thrown up into the air by its comrades. It tried to grab on to the Charizard's leg but fell short as he fell back to the ground screaming in terror. A few more were launched up into the air and only one was successful when it grabbed onto Blitz's foot. The Charizard became really worried and tried to shake it off, but the Toxic Lizard Pokémon held on tight before starting to climb up.
The winds started to pick up and dust flew all around them as the family kept going. The Salandit held on tight as he couldn't get no higher. He then bit into Blitz's side and it caused the Charizard to roar in pain. Cynthia looked down at the Salandit before using Iron Tail to knock it off of her son's leg. The Salandit tumbled down to the ground as more of them were launched into the air. One tried to take a bite out of Sam but missed the old Raichu. Sam helped in fear to it and nearly fell off. Brock and Cynthia were quick to catch their father's paws while the latter shouted, "Sam, hold on!"
"Pull me back up!" He shouted as he tried to climb back up. Another Salandit was sent hurtling through the air, but when it came close to the Raichu, Sam glared at it before forming an Electro Ball on its tail and heaving it at the black lizard. The back of Toxic Lizard Pokémon suddenly sensed something in the sand storm and began to back off.
Cynthia noticed the lack of assaulting Pokémon and said to the Flame Pokémon, "Blitz, they've stopped following us."
"Huh?" Blitz said and landed on the ground. He looked back to see that the Salandits did stop their pursuit. The ground started to shake and it made the Charizard look to his right with another, "Huh?"
A shape came through the sand storm and shoved the Charizard down to the ground. Blitz groaned in pain while his family moved to the side to avoid being squashed. A red and green looking dragon Pokémon looked down to Blitz and growled, "Stay out of my way!"
Another Pokémon, this one was like a dinosaur with mostly green body with a silver looking belly, walked behind the first Pokémon and grumpily said, "You heard Drudd. Move it!"
Blitz quickly moved out of the way as his family ran back to him. That's when Blitz noticed a whole lot of other Pokémon starting to approach as well. The Charizard had to move out of the way to avoid being rammed into again. He was also amazed to see that there were many kinds of Pokémon here. He heard some Pokémon calling out their names down at his feet. Looking down, he saw a many of them rushing past his feet. He lowered his head as they continued to walk under or around him. When he raised his head again, he and another Pokémon grunted when their faces touched. He looked to see another dragon like Pokémon standing in front of him. She had orange scales on most of her body, her underbelly to her tail was a white color and she had light blue wings. The new Pokémon gave Blitz a stern look and said, "Watch it."
With a huff she walked around him to walk with the other Pokémon. Blitz watched as she walked off and she cast one final glance back at him. He was warned just in time by Brock, "Blitz, watch out!"
Blitz looked to see a dark and light grey Pokémon coming right at him and quickly moved out of the way. There were even some other mouse like Pokémon that hopped past the Charizard and his family. They were all suddenly shaking when heavy footsteps stomped towards them. Looking to the back of the herd, they all saw a large, light blue Pokémon with a long neck stomp towards them. Sam, Cynthia, Brock and Bonnie all held on as Blitz quickly moved out of the way as she walked past them. Blitz watched the large Pokémon walk by when another Pokémon walked by him. This one had a large, square shaped frill on her head. She had a slight grin when she said, "Walking backwards, huh? Well, let me know if that gets you there any faster." She glanced back she shouted, "Keep them legs moving, Twig, or you'll get left behind."
Blitz and his family saw a large turtle like Pokémon walking by. This new Pokémon appeared to have a tree on its back and a small rock in his mouth. He was panting as he tried to keep up with the herd. The sand storm started to dissipate as the three Pokémon disappeared down a hill after the herd of Pokémon. Blitz walked over and looked down and was amazed by the size of it. From behind her mother, Bonnie leaned forward and said, "Look at all the Blitzs and other Pokémon down there."
"If you're even thinking about joining them-" Sam started to warn. But a hiss from the Salandits made Brock hug his father in fear and they all looked to see the horde starting to come back. Cynthia looked to each of them and said, "What are we waiting for?"
"Hang on, you guys!" Blitz said before opening up his wings. He jumped down the hill and glided to catch up to the herd. The Salandits ran to the edge of the hill and watched the family once again escape from them. A few of them hissed at the fleeing Pokémon.
\_|_/
The three leaders of the Pokémon herd started to slow down and so did the rest of the Pokémon. Blitz landed amongst them and looked to each of the Pokémon. He looked ahead and saw the three Pokémon from before looking over the Pokémon herd. Drudd looked ahead before his second in command said, "Drudd…"
Drudd snorts as he looked to the Tyranitar. The older Pokémon then suggested, "There's a much more protected spot further down the-"
"We'll rest here for the night." Drudd decided with a nod. He looked to the Tyranitar and ordered, "Go ahead, Tar."
Tar slightly glared but still complied as he turned to the Pokémon herd and let loose a signaling roar. Most of the herd knew what to do and started to settle down. Drudd and the other dragon Pokémon watched as the herd moved about. At the back of the crowd, Blitz and his family watched as everyone was moving about. He heard the one with the long neck say to the one with the frill in a fancy accent, "Oh, Donna, I do wish that we were at your Nesting Grounds already." She sounded distraught as she said, "All this pushing and shoving about, just for a place to sleep for the night."
She shook her long neck and said, "I'm just not used to this kind of behavior."
"Uh, Aurora," The Bastiodon said with a shake of her head. Then she advised her friend, "You want them out of the way then you need to use your feet. Just give them a kick." Seeing a small Pokémon getting too close she kicked at it and shouted, "Get!"
The smaller Pokémon yelped before running off. Aurora didn't like the sound of that, "Ooh, I just couldn't possibly do something like that." Then using one of her feet she started to gently shoo at them, "Oh, shoo. Shoo."
"Will you come on now, Aurora?" Donna questioned to the Aurorus. Then she commented, "You wanna get to the Nesting Grounds alive? Then you gotta show some backbone."
"Hey, there." Blitz said when he appeared next to her. It caused the Bastiodon to scream in fright. Blitz and his family chuckled as she turned tail and ran. Blitz then said, "Uh, sorry about that. I didn't mean to frighten you, ma'am.
"It's just that, we kind of overheard you guys talking, and we-" He stopped when the Torterra walked right up to him and dropped a rock at the Charizard's feet. Blitz nor his family knew what to make of it, but Donna did and they looked to her when she said, "Well, my word." The Bastiodon looked over to Aurora and said, "Would you look at Twig." Then turning her gaze to Blitz again as the Torterra started dancing about she said, "He don't normally warm up to strangers that fast."
Aurora lowered her head to Blitz's head and shoulders when she spotted the Charizard's family and took a few sniffs. Their fur caused the Aurorus to sneeze and they cringed. Aurora then commented, "What an unfortunate blemish."
"A good mud bath would clear them off of me, but a flight through some fire would clear them off of him." Donna added, not knowing of the Mouse Pokémon. Sam looked to the Bastiodon with a slight glare and questioned, "Excuse me?"
This caused Donna to growl her Pokémon and return the glare when she realized that they weren't what she thought they were. Blitz chuckled and said, "Uh, sorry, he's my grandfather, just a couple of times removed."
"Try a couple of species removed." Brock commented from the back. Cynthia and Bonnie shrugged in agreement to this. Blitz then introduced him and his family, "My name's Blitz." Looking to the four on his back he said, "And this my family; Sam, Cynthia, Brock and Bonnie. We're all that's left from our old home."
"Oh, my dears. I am so sorry." Aurora said as she felt truly sorry for them. Donna walked up to Blitz and said, "Aurora here is the only one of her kind down in these parts."
"What do you mean?" Blitz asked as he nor his family understood what she meant. Donna looked to her friend and said, "Aurora is an Aurorus. And they're mostly found far to the North where it suits them better."
"Oh." Blitz said and looked to the taller Pokémon. Aurora then explained, "I only came down South to try and find a better life for myself."
"Was it at this place called the Nesting Grounds?" Cynthia asked, curious to know more. Donna looked to the Pikachu and smiled when she said, "Honey, it is the most beautiful place there is. It's where the Pokémon herds go to have their babies."
"Would we maybe-" Bonnie started to ask. She tried to sound hopeful when she asked, "Find someone like us there?"
Donna lightly shrugged as she said, "Oh, baby girl, the last few days, I've seen all different kinds of Pokémon in all shapes and sizes." With another shrug she said, "Who knows what we'll find. The hard job right now is just getting ourselves there."
"And we're being driven unmercifully through this journey." Aurora added when she lowered her head to Blitz. The Charizard didn't like the sound of that as he questioned, "By who? Who would force a bunch of Pokémon to keep going?"
"Drudd," Donna said, drawing Blitz and his family's attention back to her, "the Pokémon herd's lead Pokémon. A Druddigon with a relentless attitude."
"We can hardly keep up with them as it is." Aurora regrettably said. Then she said, "And for an older Pokémon like myself-" She started stammering when she said, "I-It's- Well, it's positively indecent."
"Then tell him." Blitz said with a grin. He thought that was the best solution and asked, "What's the worst that he could do?"
The sound of growling made them all look and Blitz's face fell with wide eyes. The forementioned Druddigon that had knocked him down earlier came walking along with the older Tyranitar and the female Pokémon from earlier by his side. Twig quickly moved out of the way and went even quicker when the Tyranitar snarled at him. Drudd pushed past and Blitz watched them go before asking, "Hey, what's his problem?"
"That's him, honey." Donna said as the three continued to walk. Blitz looked to the Bastiodon when she said, "Drudd."
"Huh." Blitz said before following after them, much to the shock of Donna, Aurora and Twig. Blitz quickened his pace before calling out, "Uh! Excuse me! Drudd, you got a second."
The Druddigon snorted when he looked back to the Charizard. The Tyranitar moved between them and growled, "Get lost, kid."
"Hmm." Drudd said with a small grin. He said to his second in command, "Relax, Tar. It's quite alright."
Drudd walked around the Tyranitar and up to Blitz. The Druddigon looked him over before asking, "Who are you, Charizard?"
"Um, Blitz." The Charizard introduced himself. Drudd then asked, "Why aren't you uphill with the-" He stopped when he saw the family of Mouse Pokémon nervously waving. Drudd shook his head to get back on track and said, "Um, young blood Pokémon?"
He blew a breath at the Mouse Pokémon. Though Blitz didn't like that, he did say, "Well, I was just back here talking to these guys."
Donna gasped while moving closer to Aurora while Blitz said, "I guess they just-" Blitz shrugged when he said, "They're having a bit of a hard time keeping up." Then suggesting, "So, uh, you know, maybe could slow it down a little bit, please?"
The female Dragonite chuckled at how nice and charming Blitz was being. But Drudd pretended to think about it, "Hmm. Let the weak set the pace." Then he mockingly said while looking to the three, "Now, there's an idea.
"Better let me do all the thinking from now on, Blitz the Charizard." Drudd said before turning away. Not liking at how his new friends were being treated, Blitz said, "Hey, they need help back here."
"Hmm." Drudd said as he looked back to Blitz. The Druddigon didn't like his leadership being challenged by anyone, but kept calm when he warned, "Watch yourself, Flame Pokémon."
Then with a small growl he turned back to the majority of the herd. Tar and the Dragonite started to follow after him as well. But she stopped and looked to Blitz with a smile and said, "Don't worry. That's how my brother always treats newcomers." She took a few steps before looking back and adding, "No matter how charming they are."
"You sure know how to catch a girl's eye there, fire stud." Brock said as he came up onto Blitz's head. The three walked up and Donna warned, "I wouldn't be trying to catch anybody's eye if I was you," He looked over to the Dragonite as she said, "especially Dragara's."
Blitz looked to her and she said, "You just keep your head down, and you mind what Drudd tells you. And everything will be alright."
"Since when do we take orders from the likes of him?" Sam questioned while glancing to the Druddigon. Donna chuckled before saying, "Drudd's swatted flie there were a lot bigger than you, pops."
"Just who are you calling, pops, grandma?" Sam teased and the Bastiodon slightly glared. The Raichu then added, "I could hold that monster's brain in the palm of my-"
"No, Grandpa Sam, she's right." Blitz said, figuring that it would be best. He looked to his family and said, "It's better to keep our heads down with this punch than to get picked off by…" He looked to the ridge behind them and saw the Salandits standing at the top, "them."
The Salandits chittered amongst themselves as the group looked up to the horde. Donna glanced to him and commented, "Well, you should just consider yourself luck that's all that that's following after us."
Some of the Salandits started to fight amongst themselves while others kept a watch over the Pokémon herd.

Author's Note: Is it a little weird that every time I do a parody story after my stories with Wings of Fire characters, that they tend to be a lot bigger and a lot more people like them. I'm just asking, I do like that you guys like this story. And in a little bit there's going to be some major changes to the Dinosaur story since it has, well, you know, Pokémon in it. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
