A/N: With a backstory out of the way, I think that it's time for some rescues. Right after the group sees Goku's table manners.

Chapter Six: Paw Patrol is on a Roll

"I guess we could go and get something to eat." Ryder nodded. Then he asked Goku, "What do you fancy, Goku?"

"Well, what's the best place in town?" Goku asked, since he didn't know the place yet. Ryder started to think when Rocky suggested, "We could try going to that new place next to Mr. Porter's. I heard that it's got lots of good food, for both people and pups." He smiled as he looked to Goku and said, "And I'm sure that it has enough for a Saiyan too."

Ryder and the other pups all giggled to that. Ryder then said, "Come on, we can walk there."

Goku, Ryder, Marshall, Chase, Rubble, Rocky, Zuma and Skye all stood up and turned to leave. Goku then said, "I hope that this place is an all you can eat."

"You sure sound to really like food, Goku." Ryder said with a grin. Goku nodded and said, "And boy, do I? I just can't get enough of it."

Twenty minutes later…

Ryder was so glad that the place was an all you can eat restaurant. After getting to the place, the manager was more than happy to accommodate Ryder, the pups and their new friend after the group had done for the town. But as soon as they had sat down and paid for the all you can eat course, Goku had all his dishes brought to him. And to say that his table manners were pretty bad was an understatement. Everyone watched with wide as Goku ate a bowl of noodles with a pair of chopsticks at one moment, but then grabbed a piece of meat and it a second later. The chefs looked as if they were being run ragged as the Saiyan was quickly eating what they had brought out. Ryder and the pups had gotten something small since they hadn't had breakfast since the day's events took place. But they hardly noticed their food arrive when Goku got his and began shoveling it into his mouth. Goku looked to them and asked, "Aren't you guys gonna eat?"

"Uh…" Was all that Ryder and the pups said as they couldn't stop watching Goku eat. Even the pups hadn't touched the dog bowls that had been given to them. Marshall then said, "Do you always eat your meals this way, Goku?"

"Pretty much." Goku said after he had swallowed some food. The Saiyan continued eating while the others just watched on. It took a little time, and many dirty dishes when Goku finished his meal. Stacks of bowls and plates towered over everyone. When he set his chopsticks and a bone down on a plate the Saiyan then let out a sigh of relief and said, "Whoo! Man, that was some good eating."

"Glad you enjoyed it, Goku." Ryder said with a grin as he and the pups decided to take theirs to go. But before they could get up and leave, Ryder's pad started to go off. Ryder answered whoever was calling, "Hello?"

"Ryder, I have an emergency." A woman wearing a farmer's hat said. Ryder smiled as he said, "Hi, Farmer Yumi. What seems to be the trouble?"

"Oh, it's just a doozy of a pickle for me." Yumi groaned in aggravation. Then she said, "My fence gave way and it spooked all the animals off the yard. They're lost in the forest and Al and I need a little help rounding them up."

"Don't worry, Farmer Yumi, no job is too big, no pup is too small." Ryder said. Looking to the pups he then said, "Come on, pups. We need to head to the Lookout."

"Roger, Ryder, sir." Chase nodded as they all bolted from their spots. Goku quickly got up as well and grabbed the seven to-go boxes before running outside with them. He followed the pups and Ryder back to the Lookout. They were able to reach the island and the tower in record time. As the pups all hopped into their vehicles, Goku looked to Ryder and asked, "Uh, what do you want me to do with these?"

"Uh, just put them in the fridge on the third floor." Ryder told him while the pups put their gear back on. Goku nodded and said, "Okay. Then I'll join you when I'm done."

"Alright, Goku." Ryder said before he took off after the pups. Goku watched them go before walking into the Lookout. The automatic doors opened up and he stepped inside. Goku was able to get a good look at the first floor and said, "Wow. This place is amazing."

He saw the elevator and walked up to it. Like the entrance door, it opened up for him. Goku walked in and when he turned around, he could see that there was a panel. His hands were completely full, so carefully balancing himself, Goku then raised his left leg before touching the third-floor button with the tip of his boot. The elevator dinged before the doors closed and it lifted up. Goku waited until the elevator came up to the third floor. Another ding and the doors opened up. Stepping out of the elevator, Goku then walked into Ryder's living area. There were two doors, one for a bedroom and another for a bathroom. But there was an open area to his left that held the kitchen. He saw the fridge and placed the to-go boxes on the table. Then when he had a free hand, Goku opened the fridge and stopped from what he saw. There were a few good selections of his favorite meats and such in Ryder's fridge. He started to drool from the sight but with a shake of his head, Goku then said, "I can't be just standing here, I got to go and help the others."

Looking to the to-go boxes, Goku held the fridge open with one hand and used his free hand to quickly place the boxes into the fridge. He made sure to neatly stack them to where they wouldn't fall over. When they were all inside the fridge, Goku then closed it before hurrying back to the elevator.

He was able to get back down on the main floor and rushed back outside. When he stepped outside, Goku then realized, "Uh-oh, I don't know exactly which way to get to that Yumi lady lives."

But then it dawned on him, "I know. If I feel for Ryder and the pups' energies, I can follow that."

Goku took a deep breath before closing his eyes. Then reaching out, he began to feel for his new friends' energies. He could feel their energies coming from the country side. Knowing that he wouldn't have to go far or exert much energy, Goku opened his eyes before taking a massive leap from the island. He landed on the beach before making another huge leap. He continued to make huge bounds through the town before out into the countryside. His bounds soon brought him to the top of a hill and looking down he could see the farm. Ryder and the pups were already there and they were currently talking with a woman that he could only assume if Yumi. Knowing that he could just run down the hill, Goku quickly made his way to the farm. When he walked past the pups' vehicles, he could hear Ryder saying, "So which way did they go, Farmer Yumi?"

"They all vanished into the woods. Other than that I have no idea where they went." Farmer Yumi shook her head. Then she asked, "Will you help me find them before Al gets back from where he went, please?"

"Sure, Farmer Yumi. We can help." Ryder said before turning to the pups. Looking to the police pup he said, "Chase, use your nose to sniff out the farm animals…" Then looking to the aerial pup Ryder said, "Skye, see if you can spot any of the animals from up in the air."

"What can Goku do?" Rubble asked as the Saiyan walked up. Yumi was confused to Goku's arrival and said, "And who is this gentleman, if I may ask?"

"Oh, my name is Son Goku. But everyone just calls me Goku." Goku introduced with a slight bow. Yumi bowed as well before asking, "Have you come to help out with finding my poor lost animals?"

"Well, sure I can help." Goku said with a grin. Then he said, "Maybe if the animals aren't too far away, I can sense them and help out that way."

"Sense them?" Yumi asked, not understanding what he meant. Ryder then said, "Uh, we'll explain later, Farmer Yumi. But right now let's find those animals." Looking to the recycle pup he said, "Rocky, you and Rubble get to work fixing the fence to put the animals back in."

"On it, Ryder." Both Rocky and Rubble said before moving off to work. Goku, Ryder, Marshall and Zuma all watched as Chase and Skye both got into their vehicles before driving off. Goku then asked, "How many animals are missing?"

"About seven or eight." Yumi said as she tried to remember. Goku then said, "Okay, then. Give me a minute."

The others watched as Goku looked to the woods and began to feel for the animals' energies. It was a little difficult since there were a lot of energies coming from the forest. The woodland critters made it a little difficult to try and find the farm animals. Though while it was a little difficult finding the farm animals, Goku easily sensed Chase and Skye's energies. He planned to look into that later and continued searching for the energies of the farm animals.

His eyes widened when he finally felt the animals energies. Ryder then asked, "Did you find them?"

"Yeah, it's a little hard considering all the forest animals." Goku told him. Then he said, "But it feels like that most of them are at a stream not too far from here. But there's a cow next to a cave and I'm sensing something sleeping inside."

"Uh-oh, it might be a bear." A worried Ryder said and Yumi gasped as well. Hen she said, "It might be the bear that's been scaring away hikers. I've heard that he can be quite violent."

"Then I'll go and get the cow." Goku offered. Looking to Ryder he said, "You guys go and get the other animals by the stream. I'll go and make sure the bear doesn't hurt the cow."

"And I'll go with you." Yumi said. Goku then said, "It's not necessary, but come on, let's go."

The two then ran into the forest to save the cow while Ryder, Marshall, and Zuma got into their vehicles. They were able to make it to the stream and Goku was right, all the animals were taking a drink from the running stream. Ryder then said, "Marshall, Zuma, see if you can get some of the animals to follow you back to the farm. I'm gonna call Chase to see if he can help and I'll ask Skye to keep an eye on Goku and Farmer Yumi."

"Okay, Ryder." Marshall nodded as he and Zuma hopped out of their vehicles. Ryder then tapped his pup pad and said, "Chase, Skye. Come in."

"Yeah, Ryder." He heard Chase's voice. Then Skye said, "What's up?"

"Goku was able to find most of the animals by a stream. I need Chase to help with herding them." Ryder told them. Then he said, "Skye, you go and keep an eye on Goku and Farmer Yumi while they're trying to find a cow."

"Chase is on the case. I'm on my way." He heard Chase say. Then Skye shouted, "This puppy's gotta fly. I should be able to spot them from the air. Talk to you in a bit."

The connection cut out and the feed turned off, and Ryder looked back to the two pups that were with him. Ryder then said, "Chase is on his way. But let's go ahead and start rounding up the animals and herding them back towards the farm."

"Roger, Ryder." Marshall and Zuma said at the same time. Both pups carefully made their way around the animals before trying to get them away from the water.

Ryder could hear the sounds of Chase's police cruiser approaching, and knew that the police pup would be hear soon. He just hoped that Farmer Yumi and Goku would be able to get that cow.

Goku and Farmer Yumi both ran through the forest as they made their way to the cave of the bear. Yumi panted as she asked, "So, how were you able to tell where all the farm animals were?"

"I was able to sense the energies that didn't quite feel in tune with that in the forest." Goku said as they weaved through the trees. Yumi didn't understand what he meant and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"I'll explain later." Goku promised as they soon came up to the cave. The cow was indeed just a few yards from the cave. Yumi then said, "Okay, I'll go and round up the cow. You keep an eye out for the bear."

"Got it." Goku nodded and the two moved forward. Goku kept a distance while keeping an eye out for the bear. Yumi walked up to the cow and said, "Hey, it's okay, girl. Just come with me."

The cow started to walk towards the farmer when the sound of snapping twigs came from their left. All three looked to the woods as a lumbering shape came out of it. The bear was a grizzly and it didn't look too happy for the intruders at its lair. Goku then said, "Just stay calm. It's gonna be alright."

But it turned out to be the opposite when the bear suddenly rushed for Farmer Yumi and the cow. They gave startled cries as the bear was nearly upon them. But a quick motion from Goku caused the bear to coming sliding to a stop. The large animal growled at Goku while the Saiyan continued to look back with a smirk.

Chase finally made it to the river and saw that Ryder, Marshall and Rocky had their vehicles around the animals in an escort. Ryder, seeing Chase, told the German Shepard and said, "Chase, move behind the animals so you can keep an eye on them."

"You got it, Ryder." Chase said. Then he informed, "Plus, Farmer Al's on his way with a trailer. We can carry the animals in that."

"That's good news, Chase." Ryder said with a grin. The police pup then moved around the group and took up the rear. They drove at a safe pace so they wouldn't spook the animals. It wasn't long until Farmer Al pulled up with his truck. He did in fact have his trailer with him. Al pulled to a stop just a few feet and stuck his head out the window. With a grin he said, "Thanks Ryder. And I thank you pups as well. I was working on my fence and I guess that I accidentally forgot a nail or two. Plus, not putting the animals up in the barn didn't exactly help out."

"No worries, Farmer Al." Ryder said with a grin. Then he said, "We're happy to help out a friend."

"Well, that's mighty kind of you." Al said with a tip of his hat. Then he asked, "Say, where's Yumi at? I didn't see any sign of her when we passed the farm."

"Oh, she's with Goku, sir." Zuma told him. Al looked to the Chocolate Labrador in confusion and then asked, "Who now?"

"Son Goku. He's a new friend of ours." Marshall explained. Chase then said, "He and Farmer Yumi had to get a cow that ventured too close a bear's cave."

"Wait, the grizzly bear that's been scaring people?" A now worried Farmer Al asked. Marshall then said, "Don't worry, Farmer Al. Farmer Yumi and the cow are in good hands."

"Speaking of which." Ryder said before tapping the screen of his pup pad that was locked into the ATV's handle bars. He then said, "Skye, you there?"

"I'm here, Ryder." Skye reported. The leader of the team then asked, "How's the situation with Goku and Farmer Yumi?"

"Good news is they found the cow." Skye told them. This worried Ryder and the four pups with him as Chase then asked, "So what's the bad news?"

"The grizzly bear just came charging out of the bushes." Skye informed them. While Al looked really worried from the news, Zuma then reassured, "Don't wowwy, Fawmer Al. Goku can take on the bear. He defeated a Gweat Ape."

"Huh?" Farmer Al asked as he didn't understand what the pup meant.

At the cave, Goku and the grizzly continued to stare each other down. Farmer Yumi then questioned, "What are you doing? That bear will tear you apart!"

"Don't worry, I've got it covered." Goku assured her. Then he instructed, "Cover yours and the cows when I say so."

"Huh?" Farmer Yumi asked as she didn't understand. Goku and the bear then rushed at each other, startling both Yumi and the cow. Goku dropped down and slid underneath the bear. The bear turned around and rose up on its hindlegs before taking a swipe at him. Goku was able to side step the bear's claws and it seemed to frustrate the bear when Goku kept doing it. The bear then roared as it dropped back down on four paws and charged at Goku. Knowing that he didn't have to use much force against the bear, Goku quickly turned around and ran for a tree with the bear chasing after him. The Saiyan had a plan as he led the bear towards the tree. When he was underneath it, Goku slowed down to let the bear come up behind him. When the grizzly was but a few feet from him, Goku placed a foot against the trunk before jumping high into the air. The bear kept coming and its face slammed into the tree. Goku landed on the ground a few feet behind the bear. The grizzly backed away from the tree and shook its pained head. Then it looked to Goku again with a growl.

Are you still there, Skye?, Goku asked with his mind. He heard a surprised gasp from the Cockapoo and she asked with her mind, I'm still here, Goku. And I'm guessing that this is something else that you can do?

Yep, Goku said with his mind. Then he warned, Can you fly and cover your eyes at the same time? Cause when I give the signal to Yumi, I want you to do the same thing.

Sure thing, Goku, Skye said before Goku cut the link. The bear started charging once again. Goku waited a few more seconds while Skye, Yumi and the cow all watched with worried looks. Goku then shouted, "Now!"

Getting that was the signal, Yumi and Skye both closed their eyes while the former covered the cow's eyes. Goku then closed his own while placing to the index and middle finger from both hands to his forehead and shouted, "Solar Flare!"

A bright flash of light appeared around Goku and it could be seen for miles. While Goku, Skye, Yumi and the cow were protected from the harsh glare, the bear wasn't spared as it was blinded by the intense light. It whimpered in pain and shut its eyes and found that it hurt to open them. When Goku opened his eyes, he saw that the bear was distracted and let loose a laugh when his plan had worked. Turning around, Goku ran over to Yumi and the cow. He then said, "The bear's distracted!"

"What?" Yumi asked and opened her eyes and uncovered the cow's. They saw that the bear was indeed distracted. Goku ran over and easily picked the cow up and placed it on his shoulders. Then he said, "We gotta hurry before it's eye sight comes back."

"I am so confused right now?" Yumi said. Goku looked back and then said, "I'll explain back at the farm. But right now we need to go."

"Oh, right." She said before the two started running back into the woods. But before disappearing into the trees, Goku shouted up to the copter above them, "Skye! We're heading back now!"

"Roger that, Goku!" Skye shouted from the sky. The helicopter then turned and headed for the direction of the farm. When the bear's eyes did clear up, it looked around to see that it was all alone. The bear gave it an annoyed huff before lumbering back to its cave.

The cow made jiggling moos as Goku ran through the forest. It wasn't long until they could see the edge of the tree line and the farm land after it. They rushed out of the trees while Skye's helicopter flew overhead. They ran to the front of the barn and Skye landed her copter next to the other pups' vehicles. Goku set the cow down and said, "There you go. All safe and sound."

"Goku, I don't know what you did, but it must have been amazing!" Skye shouted with excitement as she, Ryder and the rest of the pups ran up to him. A man walked up to Yumi and asked, "Are you all right, Yumi?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, Al." Yumi promised as they hugged each other. When they stopped hugging, Yumi looked to the Saiyan and said, "It was Goku who got us out of there without a scratch."

"I bet that bear's nose is going to be sore for a while." Skye said with a grin. The others started laughing at this and Skye then asked, "What exactly did you do, Goku? I closed my eyes like you said in my mind and I was able to notice a bright light."

"What did you do?" Yumi asked him. Goku then said, "Well, after distracting the bear, I didn't want to hurt 'em since he didn't hurt us. So I temporarily blinded him with the Solar Flare technique."

"Solar Flare?" Yumi asked and looked to her husband. But Farmer Al only shrugged as he didn't understand it either. Goku then explained, "The Solar Flare was created as a way to disorient and distract an opponent."

"Judging by your Gi, and your use of techniques…" Yumi said as she looked him over. Then she deduced, "I would have to guess that you're a martial artist."

"That's right." Goku nodded with a grin. Then he said, "And I can tell that even though you're a farmer that you also study martial arts."

"That's right." Yumi said with a grin. She then said, "And from time to time I teach the pups Pup Fu."

"Pup Fu?" Goku asked, not understanding what that meant. Marshall nodded and said, "Yeah. It's martial arts for pups to learn."

"And Marshall here is the best out of all of us." Chase said and placed a paw on his friend's back. Marshall then said, "I wouldn't say I'm the best, Chase."

"Oh, come on." Rocky said as he walked over. The mixed breed then reminded, "Remember, it was you who got the scroll back from Mayor Humdinger and his kittens. You've proven yourself to be quite a martial artist."

"He's actually right, Marshall." Yumi said with a smile. Then she said, "Plus, you're tests to see if you advance to the next lessons are coming up." She looked to each of the pups and said, "And I have faith in each and every one of you."

"Thanks, Sensei." Marshall said with a bow of his head. The other pups bowed their heads as well. Goku then said, "Maybe I can come and watch as well?"

"Maybe you can also give a demonstration of your talents as well." Yumi suggested. Goku thought about it for a minute before saying, "Okay. And I promise not too take it too far."

"Too far?" Yumi asked while her husband put the cow away. Ryder then said, "We'll explain later." Then he asked, "When do you want the pups to come over?"

"Well, the harvest is in a few weeks, so we gotta prepare for that." Yumi said as they began to think about it. Then she said, "Plus, we'll have to make sure that the pups won't have any missions to avoid any interference." She looked to Goku and then asked, "And what about our new friend here? Will you be busy in a few weeks?"

"No, I should have a free schedule." Goku shrugged. Then he said, "It's not like I'm going anywhere anytime soon. Not until Bulma gets her machine working again."

"Bulma?" Farmer Yumi asked while Al poked his head from the barn door. Goku looked to Ryder and asked, "Should I go through the story again?"

"Only if you feel like telling it again." Ryder shrugged. Yumi then said, "Well, as much as I love a good story and all, we do need to get back to work."

"Oh, okay. See you then." Goku said as the two farmers walked off to get back to work. Before she completely walked off, Yumi looked to Ryder and said, "Thank you, Ryder. You and all the pups and friend."

"No, problem, Farmer Yumi. Whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help." Ryder told them. She tipped her hat to him and followed after Al. Goku looked to his right and saw the work that Rubble and Rocky had done while they were gone. Looking to the mixed breed and Bulldog, Goku said, "Wow. You guys sure did a good job fixing that fence."

"Aw, it was nothing." Rocky said with a wave of his paw. Rubble then said, "Thanks, Goku."

"Well, what say we head home, pups?" Ryder said. All the pups howled in agreement to this. They all hopped into their vehicles and Goku sprinted after them as they made their way back into town. When they were gone, Al said to Yumi, "That Goku character is a strange fellow, ain't he?"

"He kind of is." Yumi admitted, but was no less grateful to him and the Paw Patrol.

When the group had returned to the Lookout, the pups all parked their vehicles and hopped out of them. Goku stood amongst them as Rubble said, "Is there anything from the restaurant left? I'm starving."

"How come you didn't eat while we were there?" Goku asked him. Glancing to the others, Rubble only said, "Uhh…"

"And don't worry." Goku reassured, "I put all the to-go boxes in the fridge upstairs."

"Thanks, Goku." Ryder nodded. Looking down to his construction pup, Ryder then said, "Come on, Rubble. We'll get everyone's food."

"Okay, Ryder and I can use my shovel to carry them." Rubble said with a grin before following after his owner. Ryder and Rubble walked into the Lookout and left Goku and the other pups outside. A good thought came Marshall and he looked between Goku and the pups as he asked, "Say, where are going to live while you're here, Goku?"

"Hmm?" Goku said as he looked down to the Dalmatian. Marshall then pointed out, "Well, you don't have any place to go. And from what King Kai said, it'll be a while before you get to go home."

"Huh, I hadn't thought of that." Goku said as he looked up. Zuma then suggested, "Well, Wyder does have a guest bedwoom in the Lookout. Maybe he could stay hewe with us."

"That might be a good idea." Skye nodded. Rocky then said, "We could ask Ryder when he and Rubble come back down."

"I'm sure he won't mind." Chase said with a grin. It wasn't long until Ryder and Rubble came back out. Ryder held three of the boxes in hand while Rubble held the other three in his shovel. They set the to-go boxes on the ground and opened the lid. Chase, Rubble, Zuma, Rocky and Skye all began to eat while Marshall walked up to Ryder and asked, "Hey, Ryder? Would it be okay if Goku were to stay in the guest room in the Lookout? You know, since he's got nowhere to go."

"I don't see any problem with that." Ryder said and smiled. Then he said, "He's proven that he's a man of his word and luckily, we have plenty of room for him."

"Thanks, Ryder." Goku said with a nod. Then he promised, "I'll help out as much as I can. Just to pull my weight."

"I'm sure you will, Goku." Ryder said while Marshall joined in on the feasting. Goku and Ryder watched as the pups ate their food. Goku then thought to himself, Just hang in there you guys, I'll be back soon. But I think I'm gonna like it here.

Author's Note: And so ends another pretty good chapter. I hope that I was able to get a few good laughs from you guys. And I will be putting in a little action soon. And just so you know, I have seen the first episode with the Dino Wilds and I plan to have that in this story. I also have a sequel planned as well as the actual Dragon Ball Z story and maybe a few movies. But those will have to wait, obviously. In the next few chapters, I'll be making Goku and one of the pups team up during the missions. I look forward to reading your reviews.
