Chapter Ten: Team Up Mission- Skye and Goku

Narrator: Last time on Pups Help a Saiyan,

A natural disaster allowed Goku and Zuma to work together. With some quick thinking, the use of Zuma's hovercraft and Goku's Kamehameha, they were able to divert disaster. Will Goku and another member of the Paw Patrol be able to work so well together? Find out now!

It was a much sunnier day in Adventure Bay since the storm two days ago. The town had worked hard to clean up the mess that the rain had made and now was a bit of a day to relax. Ryder was in the Lookout tinkering away with Rocky, Rubble and Zuma were playing tug of war with a toy rope, Skye was sitting under a tree reading a magazine about planes, jets and pilots and Marshall and Chase were both bouncing a ball around. Goku on the other hand was sitting on the land meditating as a part of his training. After passing the ball back, Marshall looked over to Goku and said to Chase, "How long do you think Goku will meditate for?"

"Who knows?" Chase shrugged before passing it back. Marshall went to chase after it as it came down. But when he hit it with a paw, it sailed right over Chase's head when he jumped for it and headed right for Goku. Marshall and Chase both gasped when they thought that it was going to hit the Saiyan, but to their surprise, Goku's hand shot up and caught the ball in midair. Without opening his eyes, Goku said to them, "I think that this is yours, pups."

"Sorry, Goku." Marshall and Chase said at the same time. The Dalmatian shook his head, "We weren't meaning for it to come right at you."

"It was an accident." Chase added. But Goku didn't seem too upset when he said, "Don't sweat it, guys. Accidents will happen."

Tossing the ball up into the air, Goku hit it with his elbow when it came down and it was sent right back to the pups. Chase and Marshall barked in excitement before chasing after the ball. Goku chuckled before returning to his mediation.

In the Lookout, Ryder and Rocky were tinkering with the elevator. Rocky looked to Ryder and asked, "Do you really think that this new mission scanner and uniform distributor software will work?"

"Yep. I've been testing out the program with Robo-Dog and he's informed me that it has a 99.999 percent success rate." Ryder said as he attached a wire to the Lookout's mainframe. Rocky tilted his head when he asked, "And that last one percent?"

"Either that it won't work, or mix up the suits." Ryder answered. With a shrug he said, "And that's the best-case scenario."

"I just hope I don't end up getting wet." Rocky shuddered at the thought. Ryder chuckled and then said, "I also thought of maybe allowing to make Goku a couple of uniforms."

"Really?" Rocky asked, a little surprised by this. Ryder nodded and said, "Well, yeah, he's helped us so much. I think it would be neat."

"I was thinking of trying to get back into contact with King Kai." Rocky said as he used the screwdriver to tighten a bolt. Ryder looked to the mixed breed and asked, "Why?"

"Well, I just have so many questions." Rocky shrugged as he thought about when they met Goku and heard from the Kai of the North. He then added, "And maybe we could try and think of a way to get Goku back home as well."

"I guess it wouldn't hurt." Ryder shook his head. He walked over to the computer, "But I wonder how Goku's friend Bulma built the machine."

"If we could compare notes or something, maybe we can find out where she really went wrong." Rocky said, feeling that it was the best way to figuring out the problem. Ryder looked the pup and said, "Why don't you go and ask Goku if you could talk to King Kai in a little bit."

"Don't you need my help with this?" Rocky asked, not wanting to leave the project. Ryder gestured to the computer screen and said, "The software is gonna take a little time to finish updating. It should give you plenty of time to go and ask."

"Ok." Rocky said before bolting to the door. Ryder turned back to the computer and waited for the software to finish.

Elsewhere in the mountains, Alex Porter and his grandpa Mr. Porter were currently standing at the railing at a cliffside. Alex looked to his grandfather and said, "Thanks for bringing me up here to watch the eagle's grandpa."

"No, problem, Alex." Mr. Porter said with a smile. He shrugged his shoulders when he said, "After the stress of the last few days, I thought it might be nice to come up here and take a bit of a breather."

"Is that why you closed up shop early, today?" Alex asked as his grandfather handed him a water bottle. Mr. Porter nodded, "Yep. Just me and you for the rest of the day."

"Neat." Alex said when they heard a few screeches from above. Looking up, they saw a few full-grown eagles, and a good deal of smaller eagles soaring through the sky. Mr. Porter pointed into the sky and said, "Alex, look."

When Alex did look, he saw two eagles flying side by side together. His grandfather said, "Those must be a mother and father eagle."

"Do you think that means that there are eggs nearby?" Alex asked, eyes full of wonder. Mr. Porter shrugged and said, "Maybe. But I doubt that they'd be anywhere close by."

"What about down there?" Alex said and pointed down the cliff. Mr. Porter placed a hand over his eyes as he tried to look where his grandson was pointing and did see something a few yards below them. Sitting on a branch that was jutting out of the side of the cliff. Looking to Alex he said, "Nice spotting there, kiddo."

"Thanks." Alex said with a proud grin. But as they were looking over the railing, Alex was a little too far out. Mr. Porter said, "Alex, you might want to back up there."

"Okay, grandpa." Alex said and began to move backwards. But his weight caused him to tip forward and he cried out when he fell. Mr. Porter tried to catch him, "Alex!"

Alex screamed as he fell and was lucky when he caught onto the branch. Alex panted as he hung on for life. Quickly climbing up the branch, Alex looked up to his grandfather. Mr. Porter called down to him, "Alex? Are you all right?"

"I'm fine, Grandpa!" Alex shouted back up to him. But the shrill cry of an eagle made them both look up to see the eagles starting to look agitated. The young boy looked in front of him and saw the nest of eggs sitting there. Alex carefully moved to the back of the branch and was looking worried when he said, "But I think I might be in trouble."

"Don't worry." Mr. Porter shouted down to his grandson. Whipping out his phone he said, "I'll call the Paw Patrol."

He pressed the button to call for help.

Back at the Lookout, Rocky approached the meditating Saiyan. Then he said, "Uh, hey, Goku?"

"Yeah, Rocky." Goku said and opened up his eyes. Rocky asked, "Do you think that it's possible to talk to King Kai some more?"

"Eh, maybe." Goku shrugged. Then he reminded, "But he might be a little busy. After all, he is in charge of watching over the entire North Galaxy."

"Oh, yeah. That's right." Rocky remembered. Goku stood up from his meditation and said, "But maybe in a bit I'll try and contact him and ask. Sound good?"

"That does sound good." The mixed breed nodded. But before they could say more, his Pup Tag flickered and Ryder said, "Paw Patrol! To the Lookout!"

"Ryder needs us!" All the pups shouted before running to the Lookout. Goku too ran after them with Marshall once again being the last one in. He tripped over his paws and was sent flying through the air. He crashed into the pups and they groaned from it. Standing up, Marshall had a grin when he said, "The eagle has landed!"

"Isn't that more of a space metaphor or something?" Goku asked with a grin. This caused everyone to start laughing. The elevator lifted up through the tower. The pups got their gear on before continuing up to the top of the Lookout. When they reached the top, the doors opened and everyone hopped or walked out. When they were all standing at attention, Chase said his catchphrase, "Paw Patrol, ready for action, Ryder, sir!"

"Thanks for coming so quickly, everyone." Ryder said before pressing a button on his pup pad. The screen came down, showing a child rendering of Alex sitting on the branch and he said, "We've got ourselves quite the emergency. Alex and Mr. Porter were out relaxing and watching the eagles when Alex fell over the railing.

Everyone gasped at the news. Zuma asked, "Is Awex gonna be okay, Wyder?"

"From what Mr. Porter has told me, he's fine for the time being." Ryder said. But shaking his head he said, "But we need to hurry. He's sitting on a branch and at the end of it is an eagle's nest."

"Eagles?" Skye asked and gulped in fear. Goku took notice of this, but stayed silent to listen. Ryder then said, "For this mission, I'll need…" He swiped his Pup Pad before stopping on the aviator symbol, "Skye."

Another nervous gulp came from the cockapoo. Ryder then said, "I need you to use your helicopter and harness to lift Alex from the branch."

"This puppy's gotta fly!" Skye said, even though it was obvious she was a little worried. Though Ryder knew of her fears of the eagles, they still had a job to do. Ryder then swiped again, "I'll also need…" It stopped on the firefighter symbol, "Marshall.

"I'll need you and your medical kit to check on Alex to make sure is okay." Ryder said when the fire pup sat at attention. Standing up, Marshall said, "I'm ready for a ruff, ruff rescue!"

"Goku…" Ryder said to the Saiyan. Goku stood at attention when the boy asked, "If you could give us a hand with this mission, that would be a big help."

"Sure thing, Ryder." Goku nodded to help. Pumping a fist in the air, Ryder said, "All right! Paw Patrol is on a roll!"

All the pups barked as they and Goku watch him run to his fireman's pole and hopped on. He disappeared down below. Both Marshall and Skye barked as they ran over to the slide before jumping one at a time. Goku walked over the sliding doors and when they slid open, he threw himself over the railing. The other pups ran over to see what he was doing when he suddenly came flying back up. All four went, "Woah!"

"So cool." Zuma said as he honestly thought that it was really cool. Down below, Marshall and Skye had reached their vehicles and they transformed. When they were ready, Marshall zoomed down the hill and drove behind Ryder while Goku and Skye flew through the air.

As they flew through the air, Goku looked to Skye in her helicopter and noticed that she was trying to keep face, but could tell that she was nervous. He asked her, "Hey, Skye?"

"Huh?" Skye asked, slightly jumping in her cockpit. Her jumping caused Goku to flinch a little and he said, "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you like that."

"I-It's okay, Goku." Skye said as they continued flying. Goku then asked, "But are you okay?"

"Uh, yeah." Skye nodded when she glanced to him. But she quickly looked ahead again when she nervously asked, "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well, back in the Lookout, you seemed very nervous about the mission." Goku said as he hardly looked away from her. Skye gave a sigh before saying, "It's not the mission I'm worried about, Goku. It's what we'll be facing."

"If I had to take a guess, then I'd say it was the eagles that are making you nervous." Goku hypothesized. Skye shuddered when he said the word and responded, "Not just nervous. A little scared."

"Why is that?" Goku arched a brow. Then gesturing to herself with a free paw she said, "Because I'm like a snack to those huge giant birds. Just the thought of getting near them is making me really nervous."

"Hey, it's gonna be okay." Goku tried to reassure her. But it didn't seem to be making her feel any better as she still looked worried. Knowing that he only made it worse for her, Goku then said, "Look, I'm gonna tell you something. There are a lot of things that scare me."

"Hospitals, we know." Skye remembered with a nod of her head. Goku chuckled before saying, "Well, yeah. But there are plenty of other things too."

"Like what?" The Cockapoo asked and looked to the Saiyan. Goku laughed a little and said, "Well, Chi-Chi for one when she gets really mad."

Skye giggled a little as it did make her feel a little better. Goku then said, "But if I can at least be a little honest, I do get worried when I get into some of the fights."

"Really?" Skye asked, very surprised by this news. Goku nodded and said, "Mostly 'cause I do think of what's on the line. Like my friends and the world."

"I guess that is something to be worried about." Skye said as she thought about it. They heard Ryder say through Skye's Pup Tag, "We're almost there, you guys."

"Yep, I can see them." Goku said when they looked ahead. They could see the cliff face with a multitude of eagles swarming around it. Though she was still nervous about the mission, Skye put on a brave face.

Ryder and Marshall pulled up at the top of the cliff while Goku landed beside the vehicles. Skye remained up in the air. Mr. Porter quickly ran up to them and said, "Oh, Ryder, thank goodness that you're all here."

"How's Alex doing, Mr. Porter?" Ryder asked as they nervously looked about in the air. Mr. Porter looked really frightened when he said, "Luckily, the eagles haven't attacked just yet."

"Then we need to move fast." Ryder said. Looking up to Skye in her helicopter he said, "Skye, stay on stand by until I give you the signal."

"You got it, Ryder." Skye said as she continued to hover in the air. Looking to the fire/medic pup he asked, "You got your gear, ready, Marshall?"

"I'm ready, Ryder." Marshall nodded with a determined look. The boy looked to Goku and asked, "Do you think that you can distract the eagles, Goku?"

"I'll do my best." Goku nodded with a grin. The Saiyan ran to the railing before jumping over. Everyone watched as he started flying through the air. He flew close to the eagles, but didn't get too close. He started waving his arms up and down and shouted, "Hey, eagles! Come and get me!"

This caused the eagles to screech at the Saiyan before launching themselves at him. Goku was able to dodge a few, but the others came awfully close with their talons. Goku quickly flew off and led the eagles through the sky. Those down on the ground or in the helicopter watched as he went back and forth with the eagles chasing him. Goku shouted from the air, "Okay, I've got them distracted, but I don't know of how long." He made another pass in front of them, "You might want to hurry."

"Right." Ryder nodded. Looking up to Skye said, "Skye, you are clear to proceed."

"On it!" Skye said before moving to the edge of the cliff. When she was past the cliff, the cockapoo leaned over to see if she could spot Alex. The little boy was still sitting on the branch. She took a deep breath before barking, "Arf! Arf! Harness!"

The bottom of the helicopter opened up and the harness lowered itself down. Alex looked up from the nest and smiled when he saw Skye's harness. Keeping one hand on the branch, Alex started to reach for the descending harness. Skye assured him, "Don't worry, Alex! I'll have you out of this in no time."

"Thanks, Skye!" Alex said as it was almost within his grasp. Skye smiled as she thought that this was gonna be an easy mission for her and the team. But the screech of an eagle caused her to look up to see one coming right at her. Quickly taking the controls, Skye zoomed upwards to avoid the bird. Alex gasped as he narrowly missed grabbing the harness and had to steady himself. Skye flew the helicopter away from the eagle as it started to chase her.

"Guys, help me!" She cried as she didn't know how to handle a problem like this.

Down on the ground, they saw that Skye was in trouble and had heard her shout. Marshall looked to Ryder and Mr. Porter and said, "Not much we can do from the ground."

"I better call Chase and have him bring his winch." Ryder said as he was worried for all three. Bringing out his Pup Pad he said, "The sooner that this mission is over, the better."

Tapping the icon of the police pup, he waited a moment before Chase's face appeared on the screen. Ryder said, "Chase we need your help."

"We can see that." Chase remarked with a quirked brow and nodded. Ryder, Marshall and Mr. Porter were a little surprised by the comment. Chase then said, "The four of us are watching everything from the telescope. And we took a bet on how long it would be for you to call us." Turning his head he looked to one of the other three, "Rocky, Zuma, you guys won the bet."

"Alright!" They heard the two pups yell in the background. Ryder shook his head and asked, "Chase, could you please come down here with your winch? Skye's out of commission for the time being."

"Don't worry, Ryder, sir. I'm on my way!" Chase nodded before the feed cut out. Ryder put the pad away before looking back up into the sky.

"Oh, how do I get this eagle to leave me alone." Skye said as she kept dodging or running from the large bird. She heard a familiar voice in her head, "Skye! You need to calm down."

"Wha- Goku?" Skye asked and looked around for the Saiyan. She could see the large flock of birds, but had to turn her attention back to her own flying. She heard Goku tell her, "You've got to let go of your fear."

"I'm not sure if I can." Skye shook her head, feeling very afraid. She screamed when the eagle tried to dive bomb at her. The Cockapoo quickly moved out of the way and kept a look out for the bird. Goku said, "If you continue to give in to your fear, then you won't be able to get your job done.

"I've only been hear for a few days, but isn't overcoming your fear what being a member of the Paw Patrol is about?" Goku asked, raising a very good point. Skye thought about it and knew that Goku was right. Taking a deep breath, Skye took a moment to calm herself. When she felt a little more at ease, she opened her eyes to see the eagle once again coming at her.

A look of determination adorned the Cockapoo's face as she stared the eagle down. A plan came to mind and she prepared herself. When it was but a few feet from her helicopter, Skye shouted, "Take this!"

She made the helicopter tilt forward to where the helicopter blades were facing the incoming bird. The eagle squawked in terror of the blades and everyone on the ground gasped as they thought that it was going to run into them. But their fears were put to rest as the wind from the blades caused the eagle to tumble backwards in the air. Seeing the eagle taken care of, Skye turned her attention back to her mission.

She flew back to Alex and lowered the harness again. Leaning to look down to the boy she shouted, "Alex, get ready to grab it again!"

"Okay!" Alex shouted as he reached to grab the harness again. He was able to grab hold of it and buckled in. Looking up he shouted, "I'm ready!"

"Okay, hang on!" Skye shouted before lifting Alex back up with her. When she brought Alex back up over the cliff, she moved to set him on the ground. But the screech of an eagle made her look to see it coming at her again. Skye sighed and said, "Oh, come on! This again!"

She quickly placed Alex on the ground and he quickly unbuckled himself. When he was securely on the ground, Skye retracted the harness back before flying out of the way. The eagle just missed the helicopter as she flew off. Alex ran up to the others and Mr. Porter kneeled down to embrace him, "Alex! Oh, thank goodness you're safe."

The eagle turned in midair before flying after her. Skye happened to see that it was following her and asked, "Hey, Goku? Got anything on how to get rid of the eagles?"

"I'd use my Solar Flare technique on them, but I don't want to cause harm to them." Goku said in her mind. She looked over and saw that he was still surrounded by the flock of eagles. He was able to dodge each of the eagles when they came at him. Skye then asked him, "What if you used your Instant Transmission to get you, Mr. Porter, Alex and the others out of here?"

"What about you, Skye?" Goku asked her. Skye shrugged and said, "I'm sure that I'll think of something. Just try and get out of there first."

"On it." Goku said before he cut out. Goku looked around for an opening in the swarming flock. After a couple tried to attack him, Goku saw one and quickly flew out of the swarm. The eagles started chasing him again as he headed right for the four standing at the cliff.

"Uh, what's he doing?" Mr. Porter said as the Saiyan and the flock of eagles came closer. Even though he was nervous, Marshall said, "Maybe Goku has a plan." He took in a big gulp when he added, "I hope."

"Everyone huddle together!" Goku shouted to them. Deciding to trust his judgement, everyone got close together and grabbed hold of each other. Marshall hugged Ryder's leg as Goku came upon them. The Saiyan stretched his arm out and when he touched Mr. Porter they vanished through Instant Transmission.

They reappeared about a mile from the plateau. Everyone felt a little woozy from the sudden movement. Goku looked stepped on the ground again and asked, "You all okay?"

"Yeah, just need a moment." Mr. Porter said before shaking his head. Ryder then said, "Thanks for the save, Goku."

"No problem." Goku nodded with a grin. Looking down at the fire/medic pup Ryder asked, "Marshall, if you'll check to see if Alex is okay, please?"

"On it, Ryder." Marshall nodded before glancing behind him. With a bark he commanded, "Arf! Arf! X-ray!"

The X-ray pad extended from the pack and came over the Dalmatian's head. He walked over to Alex and examined the little boy. Marshall was looking pleased when he didn't see any fractures anywhere on Alex's bones. Retracting the X-ray pad, Marshall said, "Good news, Alex. You don't have any fractures."

"Well, that's a relief." Mr. Porter said and placed a hand on his grandson's shoulder. Marshall then said, "We're just glad that you're safe."

"Thanks, guys." Alex said. Goku then remembered, "I better go and help Skye get away from those eagles. Be right back."

Placing his fingers to his forehead again, the Saiyan disappeared from their sight. Alex looked up to his grandfather and said, "That was so cool!"

"I'll say." Mr. Porter agreed with a nod.

Goku reappeared on the plateau and looked up into the sky. He gasped when he saw that Skye was surrounded by the eagles. Quickly jumping up into the air, he quickly flew to help her out.

"Go away! There's nothing endangering the nest." Skye said to make them stop. But when they prepared to come at her again, Goku appeared in front of her helicopter. She smiled at her rescuer, "Goku!"

"Try to keep your flying machine steady! I'm going to try something!" Goku shouted when he glanced to her. Skye kept her paws on her controls and hoped that she was both blown and not blown away by what Goku was going to do. Goku hunched a little and let his power build up a little as the eagles shot towards them. Shooting out his arms and legs, Goku let loose his aura that created a barrier of wind that knocked the eagles away from him and Skye. The force of the wind sent the eagles tumbling through the air. Neither Skye nor Goku had to worry about them getting hurt as they were able to stop themselves. But they didn't go up to Goku or Skye again as they didn't want to go through all that again.

Goku and Skye watched as the flock of eagles flew off and left them alone. Goku looked to Skye and she smiled with happiness. With a gesture of his head he suggested, "Let's get back to the others."

"Sounds good to me." Skye said and they headed to where the others were.

They saw Ryder and the others coming back up the path to the cliff. The two descended to the ground and Skye hopped out of her cockpit. Ryder looked between them all and said, "Well done, pups. You too, Goku."

"Happy to help." Goku and Skye said at the same time. They looked at each other and laughed a little. The sound of a siren made them all look to see Chase riding up to them in his police cruiser. The German Shepard looked between them and asked, "You guys good?"

"Yeah." They all said and nodded. The police pup huffed and said, "Looks like I came all this way for nothing."

"Ah, don't be like that, Chase." Ryder reassured. Goku added, "There'll be plenty of missions. You know that."

"Yeah, I know." Chase said with a chuckle. Alex looked up to the Saiyan and said, "You were awesome out there, sir. I want to be a lot like you when I grow up."

"I think you might want to wait on stuff like that, Alex." Mr. Porter said, today's events clearly made him worry enough. Patting his grandson's shoulder he said, "How about you finish school and then we'll talk."

"He's kind of right." Goku said and placed a hand on the boy's head. With a smile he added, "I think that you should focus on your school and all that."

"Wha-" Ryder, Marshall, Chase and Skye all said with hung open mouths. Chase looked to Ryder and said, "I never thought I'd hear something like that from Goku."

"Me neither." Ryder shook his head. Goku looked to Marshall and asked, "I can take you back to get your firetruck."

"Uh, okay." Marshall said before placing his paw against Goku's leg. The two once again disappeared through Instant Transmission from the group.

Goku and Marshall reappeared on the cliffside and Marshall ran up to his firetruck. Hopping into it, Marshall looked to Goku and said, "Now, let's get back to the others."

"Right with ya, Marshall." Goku said and gave a thumbs up. Goku turned and used Rapid Movement to run back down the road. Marshall put the pedal to the metal and followed after him.

They all returned to Adventure Bay and stopped by Mr. Porter's restaurant. Mr. Porter and Alex turned to them and the former said, "Thanks for your help, Paw Patrol."

"No problem, Mr. Porter." Ryder said with a nod. Then with a grin he said, "Whenever you're in trouble, just yelp for help.

"Now let's go home, guys." He said to the pups and Goku. Marshall, Chase and Skye all gave howls of approval before following after Ryder. Goku looked to the two and waved, "See ya."

"Bye!" Alex said as he and his grandfather waved to him. Goku quickly took off after the others.

When they made it across the bridge, the other pups came out of the Lookout. Rubble looked really excited when he said, "You guys were awesome!"

"I'll say. The way that Skye stood up against the eagle, without standing up." Rocky added with a chuckle. Everyone else laughed a little as well. Ryder looked to the aerial pup and said, "They're right, Skye. I know that it was a little scary for you, but I'm both impressed and proud that you were able to overcome it."

"Well, I did have some pretty good inspiration." Skye said as she glanced up to Goku. He smiled back at her. Then he remembered and said, "Oh, Rocky. I remembered. I'll try and talk to King Kai now."

"Great!" Rocky said and the two walked off. Chase looked to Ryder and asked, "What are they going to talk about with King Kai?"

"Mostly about getting in touch with Bulma." Ryder said. Then he remembered something as well, "Which reminds me, I need to get back to the software update."

"Need some help, Wyder?" Zuma asked. But Ryder shook his head, "No thanks, Zuma. I've got it covered." Then he suggested, "Why don't you pups go and play?"

"All right!" Rubble shouted before the five ran off to have some fun.

Goku and Rocky came over to the spot where Goku was meditating. They looked up into the sky and Goku shouted, "Hey! King Kai! Are you there?"

There wasn't an answer at first the two looked about. Then they heard the familiar voice, "Hey, Goku! It's been a while."

"Yeah, a few days to be exact." Goku said while rubbing the back of his neck. The watcher of the North Galaxy then asked, "So, what'cha calling for?"

"My friend Rocky here wants to ask Bulma a few questions? Think that you can ask her?" Goku asked his mentor. Their faces fell when King Kai said, "Goku. You and your friend do know that I'm not a telephone. I can't just be making calls. I have a job to do."

"I'm sorry, King Kai." Rocky said, knowing that it was a bit much. Then shaking his head he told him, "I was just curious to talk to her and you. I have so many questions and I just wanted to ask you."

"Well, I guess I could at least see if she can answer a few questions." King Kai said. Then he asked, "Once you ask me, just give me a second to get back to you."

"No problem, King Kai." Rocky said, his tail wagging in happiness. King Kai told him, "Fire away."

"Okay, can you ask her how exactly she made her device? Like what she used for a power source and the design?" Rocky asked him. They heard King Kai say, "All right, give me a moment."

"Okay." Both Goku and Rocky said as they looked up into the air.

Goku's Earth…

Bulma was going over some of the math in her plans as she looked over the machine. She moved away from the plans and picked up a welders mask and a blow torch. But as she lowered the mask over her face and was about to turn the blow torch on, she heard a familiar voice in her head, "Hey, Bulma!"

She cried out and dropped the blow torch. Looking up at the ceiling with a vein visible on her forehead she said, "King Kai! You should really know better than to scare someone like that!"

"Take it easy there." King Kai said to calm her down. Then he told her his reason, "I'm just calling because a friend of Goku's in the other dimension has a couple of questions for you."

"Oh, like what kind of questions?" Bulma asked him. King Kai said, "He's mostly asking how you made your machine. Power source, design and all that."

"This stuff is pretty complicated. I don't know if he'll understand it all." Bulma told him as she looked over the plans. King Kai must have shrugged when he said, "He seems like a smart pup."

"Pup?" Bulma asked as she found it a little odd. King Kai quickly said, "Never mind that. He just wants to see if he can help get Goku back to you guys."

"Well, if he can help." Bulma said and looked down at the plans. Lifting them off the table she said, "Here, tell him this."

"And the power source apparently is a blue crystal with about three hundred thousand watts of energy flowing through it." King Kai finished. Rocky remembered everything that Bulma had told King Kai to relay back to him. With a nod he said, "Got it. I'll go and put it all into the computer and see if I can figure something out on our end."

"Glad to be of service, Rocky." King Kai happily said. Rocky nodded and responded, "Thanks for all your help, King Kai."

When they were sure that King Kai wasn't there anymore, Rocky looked to Goku and said, "I'm going to go and do that."

"Okay. See ya." Goku said and the mixed breed pup ran off. Rocky ran into the tower and used the elevator to lift himself up to the floor where Ryder was. The doors opened and Rocky saw the boy getting up from his chair. Ryder stretched his arms and said, "Finally done."

"Updates finally finished?" Rocky asked with a grin. Ryder nodded and said, "Yep. Would have gone a lot quicker had we not had a mission, but that's just something that we can't help."

"Well, I got a lot of information from Bulma. Is it okay if I go and run it through the computer?" Rocky asked. Ryder nodded again, "I don't see why not. Just don't spend all your time on the computer, okay?"

"Okay, Ryder." Rocky said the two got in the elevator. When they reached the top, the doors opened and Rocky was the only one to get out. Ryder rode the elevator back down while Rocky went up to the main computer. He quickly put in the data he got from King Kai that he from Bulma. When the program was all set he allowed the computer to run the numbers.

He saw that it was going to take a while to complete and knew that he couldn't sit in front of the computer the entire time. With a few typing of the keys, he was able to make the program continue running in the background.

His Pup Tag went off and he heard Rubble shout to him, "Hey, Rocky! Goku's willing to throw the ball around a little. Wanna come and join us?"

"I'm on my way down." Rocky said and laughed as he ran back to the elevator.

Author's Note: I enjoyed writing that chapter. Not to mention that it's the biggest so far. And I'm going to go ahead and tell you, I'm going to change the next couple of pups up a little. Instead of it being Marshall or Chase next, it's going to be either Everest and Jake, or Tracker and Carlos. And I've got something big planned for both of those chapters, plus putting in their backstories. I look forward to reading your reviews.
