Two planets of blue waters and green landmasses rotated through space.

(Cue Dragon Soul track Vic Mignogna Version)

Vic Mignogna: Mysteries abound made of deep energy (energy)

Foes all around well now we'll go fearless and free

A group of people were flying high over the clouds. The Saiyan in the orange Gi, Son Goku, his son in the purple Gi, Son Gohan flew alongside the Namekian in a similar Gi as Son Gohan, Piccolo. They were on their way to meet up with a friend who said she had something to show them.

Vic Mignogna: I'll give you strength and you'll give me love that's how it we'll live (that's how we'll live)

Your courage won't fade, if you're with me my enemies will never win

After a freak accident, Goku wakes up to find himself somewhere entirely new. Soon he is met by a bewildering sight, a boy accompanied by dogs who can talk.

Vic Mignogna: We will fight for love and glory, we will live to tell a story

There is nothing we can live through, nothing ever dies, we will rise again!

Goku, Ryder and the Pups all take the time to get to know each other. From having fun like telling stories to responding to emergencies. Goku helps the Pups by catching a falling Alex when he fell out of a tree.

Vic Mignogna: Don't stop, Don't stop were in luck now!

Don't stop, there's no fun to be found

Goku, Ryder and the Pups all stood outside the Lookout and saw that a new kind of trouble was brewing. A large shadowy figure stood ominously over Adventure Bay. But the nine looked to each other with grins before charging into action.

Vic Mignogna: We can't find paradise

All we have to do is go! Go! Free your soul!

Standing in a circle, the pups all unleashed their auras from their Mighty powers. In the center of the circle, Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan. Then all eight of them unleashed pillars of their power into the sky.

Vic Mignogna: Dragon Soul!

Soon, Goku, Marshall, Chase, Skye, Rocky, Everest, Rubble, Zuma and Ryder all stood together and posed for a picture with smiles on their faces.

Another clear day came over Adventure Bay after the horrible fire at Jake's Mountain. There had been some help from the townsfolk and the Paw Patrol, but they had to let nature fix the rest. Today they were facing a different kind of emergency; someone had reported Cap'n Turbot missing when he went to go searching for his lighthouse keys. It had been a few hours since they had seen the sailor and now every member of the Paw Patrol were out looking for him. Even Goku was helping as they stood on main street. Rubble, Zuma and Skye gathered around one of the storm drains, and the scuba Pup shouted, "Cap'n Turbot!"

"Are you down there?" Rubble added the question. Skye shouted, "Can you hear us?"

Across the street, Hailey Dailey had set up her camera. With a remote she turned it on and waited a moment. When a light on it came on, she started reporting, "Hailey Dailey on the scene and on your screen.

"I'm here in Adventure Bay today where the Paw Patrol is desperately searching for Cap'n Turot." She turned the camera to show the efforts of the Paw Patrol and Son Goku. From the back of her van, the orange cat rolled his eyes when she turned the camera back to her and said, "Apparently, the captain got lost underground when he dropped his lighthouse keys down a storm drain. He could be anywhere under the town."

"Goku, you said that we were right over him, right?" Ryder asked when he approached the Saiyan. Goku nodded and said, "Yeah. He's in the area. It kind of feels like he's right underneath our feet."

"Cap'n Turbot!" Marshall said when he joined Chase and Rocky over at another storm drain. Peering down he shouted, "Shout if you can hear me!"

But all he got in response was his echo. Ryder looked about before spotting a manhole cover. Looking to Rocky he said, "Rocky, see if you can lift that manhole cover."

"On it." Rocky nodded before making his way over. He barked over his shoulder, "Claw!"

His Pup pack opened up and a grabber extended. The claw grabbed a hold of the man hole cover and he started to lift it. Goku walked over and said, "Here, Rocky. Let me give you a hand."

"Chase, I need you to use your megaphone to call out for him." Ryder said to the German Shepherd. Chase nodded and glanced over his shoulder and barked, "Arf! Megaphone!"

The compartment opened up and the megaphone extended out. He rushed over to the hole in the ground and he shouted, "Are you there?!"

Marshall, who was keeping an ear out for Cap'n Turbot, heard Chase's call. He became excited when he looked to the others, "Hey, I just heard someone shout, 'Are you there?' in the storm drain."

Ryder started laughing while the others looked to him. Ryder clarified it by saying, "No, Marshall, it was just Chase."

"Heh." Marshall sheepishly said while Chase laughed. They all suddenly heard someone shout, "Ahoy, my hearty heroes! I'm down here!"

"I think we just found him." Goku said and placed the man hole cover back. Everyone converged at the storm drain Marshall stood by. Both Ryder and Goku moved the grate of the storm drain. When they had moved it enough, they looked down into the hole and Ryder called out, "You okay, Cap'n Turbot?!"

"Oh, thank the heavenly heavens." Cap'n Turbot said, even though he was hidden in the dark. Chase then barked again, "Ruff! Flashlight!"

It shown down on him and Cap'n Turbot shielded his eyes from the bright light. He looked to his heroes and said, "This drain's just too slippery a slope to climb out, but luckily, I found my lost lighthouse keys."

"I think Chase can get him out." Goku said and looked to the police pup. Chase nodded, "I'll be right back with my winch."

"What another incredible rescue from the Paw Patrol and their friend Son Goku." Hailey commended. She looked to her cat and asked, "Right, Mr. Nibbles?"

Mr. Nibbles sarcastically meowed while rolling his eyes. Everyone behind the group watched as Chase drove his police cruiser around the corner. He pulled up to the storm drain before hopping out. With another bark he called out, "Winch!"

The front of the police cruiser brought the tool in question. He pulled it out with his teeth before handing it to Goku when he removed a hand from the grate. He carefully tossed it down to Cap'n Turbot. The stuck boatsman nodded his gratitude, "Thanks for the ascending assist."

He grabbed on and held tight to the cable. Ryder looked back to Chase and said, "Okay. Hoist him out."

"You got it." The German Shepherd nodded. Looking to his cruiser he barked, "Ruff! Winch, retract!"

The motor turned on as the winch's cable started to withdraw back. Down in the whole Cap'n Turbot held on tight as he was lifted out of the hole. When he was close enough, Goku held out his hand and Cap'n Turbot took it. With an effortless tug, the boatsman was pulled out. Hailey Daily moved in front of the camera again and commended, "Oh, another successful rescue.

"Nice work, Paw Patrol and Son Goku." She nodded when she looked to them. Those who were gathered cheered for the rescue. Well, not everyone present cheered. For at the back of the crowd stood a couple of individuals that were glaring at the Paw Patrol and Goku.

"I wish I could be on TV instead of those pesky pups." A young blonde boy with a curvy hair do complained. A man in a fancy, purple suit looked to the boy and whined, "Hey, I was already wishing for that, Harold.

"No fair, wishing before your uncle." He complained while Harold could only roll his eyes.

Leaning against Hailey's van, a woman in a blue shirt, darker blue pants and a black jacket with feathery designs on the arms holding a stick with a blue bird's head, used her bird cane to lower her glasses. She glared at the group and said, "While I don't know much about the man with them, those Pups really irk me.

"But those keys are so shiny." She admired when she saw the keys in Cap'n Turbot's hand. Everyone started to leave the scene with just a few people remaining behind. A plan starting to form in her mind, the Ladybird started moving to where she could get to them. But another shiny object on her left caught her attention. A second camera that belonged to Hailey sat on one of the shelves in the van. She admired to it as well, "And that camera is also shiny and sparkly. I just need it for my collection."

She looked about before reaching in with her bird head cane. But before she could grab it, Mr. Nibbles jumped up from his bed and screeched at her. The Ladybird was startled by the cat and jumped back a bit. Mr. Nibbles then growled, "This recording device is the property of Hailey Daily. So keep your talons off, bird lady."

"What the-! A talking cat?" The Ladybird questioned as she found it to be an odd sight. Mr. Nibbles mocked her by repeating her words, "What the-! A talking cat?

"And for your information, I am the Copycat." The feline smugly said. He became boastful of himself, "I am the baddest super baddie around."

He started laughing manically before going into a coughing fit. When he calmed himself he said, "Uh, hair ball."

"You're a baddy?" The Ladybird asked. The cat cackled again and Harold overheard the conversation. Then gesturing to herself she said, "I'm a super baddie too."

"I'm a super baddie three." Harold said when he rushed over. He seemed proud of it at first before his shoulders slumped and he said, "But I have to be imbued by the properties of a certain meteor."

"You too?" The Ladybird asked as she knew that it was what it took. She sighed when she admitted, "It can be such a pain."

"Tell me about it." Harold agreed and crossed his arms. The Copycat looked between the two, now intrigued, and asked, "What exactly are your super powers?

"Besides being super annoying to me." He added while lightly rubbing his head with his paw and laughed a bit. Though a bit ticked off, Harold described his powers, "I can build marvelously genius things out of other things."

"Oh, that's nothing." Ladybird scoffed before knocking the boy away with a strike from her rear. Gesturing to herself again she said, "My superpowers are of super strength to lift shiny things and I can fly around like a bird."

"Forgive me for not being impressed by such mediocre powers." The Copycat smirked and decided to show the two up. His paws suddenly glowed blue before he zapped around the truck. When he came back to the other two villains his paws glowed yellow and he lifted the two effortlessly over his head. Both Harold and the Ladybird were greatly confused, "What?"

"How'd you do all that?" Harold questioned before the feline dropped them onto their rears when he zapped away again. The two groaned and the Copycat explained, "I have all the same powers that those infernal Pups do…

"And it's all thanks to this little gift right here." He said before opening his jaws wide to reveal a tiny shard of a brown rock with golden cracks embedded in his mouth. Both Harold and the Ladybird were greatly surprised and impressed by this, "Lucky/Shiny."

"Oh, hey there, Copycat." Harold's uncle said when he joined the group. Harold as surprised by this and asked when he gestured to the feline, "Uncle? You know this cat?"

"Well, I was his sidekick for a small time." Mayor Humdinger said with a nervous look. He sheepishly laughed when he said, "Nearly destroyed Adventure Bay with a larger meteor than what the Pups have."

"Wha?" Harold said when his jaw dropped. Copycat looked about and suggested, "Perhaps we should go and find somewhere else to talk.

"It isn't safe here, especially with the Pups' new friend." He advised. The other three nodded before they quickly made their way out of Adventure Bay.

The Paw Patrol had made it back to the Lookout without being called for anymore incidents. They walked into the Lookout when Rocky stiffened when he remembered something, "Oh, shoot! I forgot to check!"

"Check on what?" Chase asked as the Mixed-Breed ran off. Rocky glanced back for a second when he said, "The algorithm's progress."

"Oh, yeah. I forgot about that." Rubble nodded when he remembered. They followed after Rocky who had run to the elevator. When they were all inside, the elevator started raising to the top of the Lookout.

When they were at the top, the doors opened and Rocky rushed over to the console. Leaning against the console, he pushed a few buttons with his paw and the screen showed the algorithm's progress. It said that it was complete and Rocky went over the notes. But he gasped when he was shocked at what he was seeing.

"What is it, Rocky?" Ryder asked when he joined the Mixed-Breed at the console. Rocky then explained, "Basically what it says is that if Bulma were to try bringing Goku back to his world with the device as it is, not only could it fry Goku in the process, but it could also cause a major implosion on either side of our realities."

"Uh, what was that about me getting fried?" Goku asked, a little unsure of what he had heard. Both Ryder and Rocky gulped as they didn't know how to break the news to the Saiyan. The two walked over to the others and Rocky started off by saying, "Goku, there's no easy way to say this.

"But if Bulma were to try bring you back with her machine," Rocky seemed a little worried, "There would only be about a five percent chance that you'd return home."

"That's a pretty small chance." Rubble commented while the others were looking worried or confused. Marshall tilted his head and asked, "So, if Goku can't leave the way he came, then how will he get back?"

"Well, I know that King Kai is pretty busy and all that, but I could ask him to go over it with Bulma." Rocky shrugged. Then an idea came to him and he said, "And maybe I could rig something else up."

"Like a portal or something?" Ryder asked, wondering if something like that would work. The Mixed-Breed nodded and said, "Yeah, and if I let King Kai know, he can tell Bulma to see what she thinks."

"It's worth a shot." Skye shrugged, seeing that they didn't have any other options. Rocky quickly rushed to the doors to the Lookout's balcony to talk with King Kai. Goku looked to Ryder and then asked, "Hey, Ryder, could I ask you a question?"

"Sure, what is it, Goku?" Ryder asked, wondering what the Saiyan had to say. Goku then asked, "Who exactly was that guy in the purple outfit? He had a kid that had a silly haircut with him."

"Oh, he must be talking about Mayow Humdingew." Zuma said, realizing whom Goku was talking about. Rubble giggled when he said, "And the kid he's talking about must have been his nephew Harold."

"Yeah, they didn't seem too happy when they were looking at us today." Goku recalled how they were looking. Ryder shook his head, "They weren't. Mayor Humdinger and Harold are actually two of our enemies."

"Really? Them?" Goku said, a little confused and surprised. Chase then said, "While Mayor Humdinger isn't as smart as Harold, he can still come up with pretty bad schemes on his own."

"And Harold's only more dangerous when he's been given his powers." Marshall added. Goku quirked a brow and asked, "Powers?"

"Yeah, Harold has his own powers kind of like us." Rubble nodded. He bumped his paw and said, "I have super strength."

"I can fly with wind powers." Skye said. Zuma then said, "I can blast water from my paws."

"I can go super-fast." Chase said with a grin. Marshall went next, "And I have heat-based powers.

"And Everest has ice-based powers." He added. Goku looked to the Mixed-Breed who was outside and asked, "Does Rocky have any powers?"

"Yeah, he can make objects, mostly tools, from energy." Ryder nodded. The boy then asked, "Sorry for the bad news, Goku."

"Well, it is troubling." Goku admitted, knowing that there was a lot on the line. He scratched his chin when he thought, "Maybe there's another way if Rocky's portal idea doesn't work."

"Like what?" Skye asked, thinking that it would be pretty hard. Goku then thought up, "Maybe I can use Instant Transmission to jump from planet to planet and wind up back in my own universe again."

"That doesn't seem possible." Ryder commented with a quirked brow. Goku's shoulders drooped when he admitted, "Yeah, I knew it sounded farfetched, even when I said it."

"Don't worry, Goku." Marshall said and placed a paw against the Saiyan's leg. He smiled when he said, "We will get you back home."

"Marshall's right." Ryder nodded in agreement. Goku could only smile in appreciation to this.

Outside on the Lookout's balcony, Rocky was looking up into the sky as he talked with King Kai. He finished up by saying, "And if she were to try and bring Goku back with the machine that brought him here, it's more liable to do more harm than good."

"I see your point, Rocky." King Kai said, and Rocky could hear the worry in his voice. Then King Kai asked, "How long would that algorithm of yours need to run the numbers for that portal device?"

"If I have it running soon, maybe a day or so at most." Rocky said as he thought of how long it took the first time that he used it. King Kai told him, "Well, just to be on the safe side, go ahead and use it.

"I'll go and relay the message to Bulma. Hopefully, she'll think about that portal idea of yours and we'll see what happens." King Kai instructed the Recycling Pup. Rocky nodded, "Right away, King Kai."

He waited a moment when the connection cut off, before walking back inside the Lookout. The others looked to him and Ryder asked, "So, what did King Kai have to say."

"He says that he'll speak with Bulma about it." Rocky said before moving over to the console. He started pushing buttons with his paws and he said, "But he wants me to try and use the algorithm to see if the portal idea is a much safer alternative."

"Well, as long as I can get back home in one piece, I'm good with what you have." Goku said.

Elsewhere…

In a hidden lair somewhere in Foggy Bottom, the villains of the Paw Patrol were standing in the middle of a large space. A computer console stood on one side of the chamber. While Harold was used to seeing it, both the Copycat and the Ladybird were surprised and confused by it. The Copycat looked to Mayor Humdinger and questioned, "How do afford such a place, Foggy Boy?

"Surely it doesn't come from your own shallow pockets." He commented with a quirked brow. The Ladybird couldn't help but agree, "He's right. And there's not enough shiny things or money in Foggy Bottom."

"Okay, okay. I know that there's a bit explaining to all of this." Mayor Humdinger said when he gestured to his lair. But then he reminded, "But why exactly are we meeting here again."

"Because I have a proposal for you all." The Copycat said before speeding onto the control console. Then he said, "Perhaps if we were to join forces, we could finally defeat those meddling pups.

"And I highly doubt that that orange and blue oaf would be able to stand in our way either." He added with a cackle. The Ladybird nervously rubbed her arm when she glanced away, "I'm not so sure about that. I do remember hearing about what he did during that tsunami crisis."

"Yes, I was there as well." Copycat said as he remembered the events. He then said, "I had even witnessed his fighting abilities and more."

"Wait? So the reports of the construction guys and the giant robot?" Harold asked, hearing about those incidents. Copycat smirked when he snarked, "Wow, a pretty big brain after all."

"Hmm." Harold glared at the comment. The Copycat then nodded, "And said, yes, that was all me.

"I had used by powers in order to try and learn more about the Pups for our next confrontation." He explained. The Copycat was at a loss when he said, "As for that 'Son Goku', I wasn't expecting him."

"You know, if we did team up like we said, then we could take them all on." The Ladybird suggested, feeling confident about this plan. But Harold was quick to argue, "Don't be a dummy. Even if they didn't have Goku with them, it'd still be six against three."

"Um, excuse me?" Mayor Humdinger questioned when he looked to the three villains. Harold sighed before saying, "Fine six against four, if we're counting the sidekick."

"Honestly, why do I try with him." Humdinger shrugged in irritation while moving to feed his Kitastrophe crew. But as he walked, an idea came to him and he said, "Ooh, I just got a brilliant idea. And I think you'll like this one.

"What if you took the Pups' meteor?" He suggested as he thought more of it. The three seemed to be liking the idea as he continued, "If the Pups were to lose their powers, then that only leaves Goku to deal with."

"That's a really good idea." The Copycat admitted. He looked to Harold and the Ladybird as he said, "But if we're going to go into a fight, then you two'll need to get your powers back."

"Hm, I can probably rig something up to help with that." Harold said as he scratched his chin. An idea came to him and he said, "Give me a little time and I'll have something ready."

He cackled as he ran off to get to work.

Author's Note: Yes, I know that this was a pretty short chapter compared to the previous few, but that's just how writing will go sometimes. But in the next chapter, I plan to unveil a new look for Goku. Plus, he'll get to see the Mighty Pups in action as well. I look forward to reading your reviews. Be sure to leave a comment either about if I've done something wrong or if you want something specifically to happen. See you next time.
