Chapter 1
POV : Hope
It's my last year of school. Senior year, yay! It's been about three months since School has started and all the new students came. It is a little odd with Caroline as headmistress now but she is an excellent headmistress though. I do miss Dr. Saltzman a lot but he had to go and I guess that's ok. Lizzie and MG are doing well together. joises still in Europe at her new school. I'm happy she got a fresh new start and living for herself. I'm proud of her. Turns out Finch is a great alpha. the crescents have actually been asking me to be their alpha. I think it's weird and I don't know if I could live up to be the alpha my mother was. I guess I still find it hard to believe that they want me to be alpha. I haven't given an answer yet. I hope I'll have an answer to that decision when I visit New Orleans during Christmas which is in about two weeks so I probably won't. Cleo and Caleb are doing well also. Cleo has been having visions of something she's not telling me about or anyone really. I'm starting to get concerned about them to be honest. I don't know why but I just have this feeling of late of something is coming or about to happen. I just can't shake it. I have actually been seeing someone. His name is Noah Cassidy and he's a werewolf. he's has dark brown hair, light tan skin, abs, mussels, and super hot. he's two years older than me and we've been seeing each other for about a two months now.
well now that your all caught up now I can get back to what I was doing. right now I'm actually getting ready for a date with Noah. I'm putting some waves in my hair and then I'll do my make up. while doing this Lizzie comes in. oh by the way did I mention that I now share a dorm with Lizzie. " hey I need you to find somewhere else to stay tonight MG is staying here tonight and well you know." Lizzie tells me and hops on her bed scrolling through her phone. I just roll my eyes and nod. they do this maybe once a week so not really a surprise. I generally just stay in Cleo's room since MG and Caleb are room mates and MG will be staying in our Cleo will be with Caleb tonight. I'm done with my make up now to get dressed. I put on a pair of high waisted jeans, black crop top t shirt, and a pair of heeled booties. " bye Lizzie have fun tonight. see ya tomorrow." I tell Lizzie. she says bye back still scrolling through her phone. I head down stairs and meet Noah waiting out side the front door. we exchange greetings he kisses me on the cheek. he also opens the door to the passenger side of his car for me and I get in. Noah gets in and drives off. "so where are we going" I ask him. " we're going to the mystic grill then a surprise and don't ask me what it is because I won't tell you." he tells me. I wonder what this surprise is. " so how was your day?" Noah asks me. " hmm, my day was fine. I spared with Caleb and Lizzie today. though I miss being able to with Dr. Saltzman." I answer. " yeah. you really miss him don't you." "yeah I do. hey so for real what's this surprise that you have planned." " ha ha well that will have to wait because we just arrived and it's called a surprise for a reason" he gets out and opens my do and just winks at me. I get out and we head inside. we sit at a table and order. I order a cheese burger with fries and a peanut butter blast with whip cream on the bottom. he orders a cheese burger and fries also but instead just got a coke. "so what else happened during your day." " well someone decided it would be funny to link two people today as a prank. so I had delink them." "wow how'd that go" "well they were not happy at all. as you can imagine. one of them takes football or whatever so every time he would get hit the other one would feel it too." "haha wow" " so how'd your day go" " fine. I met with a lawyer today and a bunch of other stuff that has to do with this surprise I have to day but I will tell you about it then ok." " ok" our food comes and we eat and continue to chat.
we are now on our way too this surprise he has. he seems nervous. we're just driving and listening to the radio. then we pull up to this long drive way at what looks to be the Lockwood estate. I wonder why we're here. my phone begins to ring when the car comes to a stop. it's and unknown caller but something tells me to answer it so I do. "hello" I greet. I have a bad feeling about this." Hope michealson you better watch your back. sides are being picked. A war is coming." before I could say anything he hangs up. who was that? sides? war? what is he talking about? Noah notices something is wrong so I tell him what happen. he tells me not to worry ill figure it out. " so mind telling me why were at the Lockwood estate" i ask him. he smiles and gets out the car. opens my door to let me out. Noah leads me to the back to the lake. we sit on the ground in the grass. its very pretty here. we just sit there together in silence looking out at the lake.
