chapter 2

POV: Noah

I'm in a meeting with a lawyer right now. see I was in a car crash when I was 16 and one of my friends died . I was driving so in the laws of the universe it was my fault. it triggered a curse I didn't know about. turns out I'm a werewolf, crazy right. anyway I asked my mom about it and she thought I was nuts and didn't believe me. for about a year I went on this journey trying to find everything about werewolves as I possibly could. I wanted to know where I got this from so I went looking into my moms family background and everything but didn't find anything that would indicate it came from her. I never knew my dad. my mom had a one night stand with some guy in high school then she moved. she never told him so he never knew about me. I've asked her before about him but she never would tell me much about him not even his name. well I was desperate I needed to know about this werewolf thing and where it comes from. I went to her and begged and demanded that she tell me who my father was. she told me his name was Tyler Lockwood and he's from a town called mystic falls. with that I started looking for him. I went to this town and found out he died. well I'm 20 now and I've decided to stay in this mystic falls town. I found a school for supernaturals ,which is cool. I don't go there I graduated high school already. I had decided to just drop the research for a while when I found out my dad died but now that I'm here I've been doing my research on the Lockwood family now and from what I can tell is I'm the only one left. I had to resort to other means to find more out about it. I found out the Lockwood estate is still around and my grand parents was the mayor. the former sheriff was my dads best friend. I went to talk to him about my dad. he was shocked but not surprised. apparently my dad was a dick. Matt asked me why I was suddenly looking for him now and I told him everything except the werewolf thing. I was shocked when he asked me if I triggered yet. I wiped the shock off my face and asked him if my dad was a werewolf too. he confirmed it. now the reason why I'm in a meeting with a lawyer im claiming all Lockwood property and estate. I'm even thinking about changing my last name to Lockwood indeed of Cassidy. I had a bunch of papers to sign and was handed the keys to the Lockwood mansion. I'll be living there from now on.

for the pat two months I've been seeing this girl Hope. she's amazing. I found out that shes a tribrid. she is so strong and beautiful. I actually have a date with here tonight. I'm going to tell her everything about my origin. i don't know why but I'm kind of nervous to. I have it all planned out. we'll go to dinner I'll take her to the lake in the back of the property and tell her. I know its only been two months but I think I might actually love her. well I better get ready for this date. I go shower. get out get dressed in a pair of jeans and a navy blue button up shirt and a pair of black shoes. I head out the door and get in my car and drive to her school. oh yeah did I mention that she goes to that supernatural school in town. I finally arrive and head to the door and wait for her there. I wait for about 10 minutes and she arrives. we walk out to the car and like the gentleman I am I opened the door for her. we drive off and head to the grill. we get there order and talk. then we leave and head to the Lockwood property as I planned.

were sitting in the grass in silence now. I break the silence by telling her about my day. "I met with a lawyer today" she turns and looks at and asks, "why?" so I tell her everything from how I became a werewolf to finding my dad. she seemed like she knew something after I told her my dads name. " Hope, whats wrong? " she looks down and sighs. " I guess I'm not the only last remaining of the four original tribes" what is she talking about? tribes? " I come from the tribe lobinair and yours is apisi" she then proceeds to tell me about a witch called the hollow and everything that went down with her. wow is all I have to say to that. " Hope I'm sorry you went through all that" she gave me a small smile. " yeah. well it is what it is." she tells me. " well this is my house now and everything of the Lockwood assets that are left." " oh so you live here now" "yeah. I wanted to give you something it's a key" I hand her the key to the house. " so soon? we've only been dating for like two months." I nod " I know it's only been two months but I like you. I like you a lot. haha and I don't think your ready for the other word so I'm going to just stick with like for now." I say looking her right in the eyes and brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. I lean in and kiss her slowly and lovingly. we end the kiss and she blushes and looks away. we lay down in the grass and I pull her to me with her head resting on my chest. I run my fingers through her hair. "you know your father Tyler was my dad's first successful hybrid he ever turned. I've heard small mentions of him through out my life. if you want I can ask my family about him they might know more about him then I do." "wow.. really? and would like that." I tell her. I get a notification for a text on my phone from my sister. by the way I have a twin sister. I haven't told her about any of this but I plan to.

Ava: hey bro. I'm coming to visit you for the week before Christmas.

me: are you sure I'm barely settled in my new house maybe in a few months

Ava: nonsense I'm coming and that's final. :p see ya

me: fine. whatever just let me what time you arrive. I have things I need to tell you anyway. see ya.

well I guess my sister's coming soon. great. I love my sister I do but she just really gets on my nerves sometimes. anyway I noticed the time on my phone and saw it was getting pretty late. " hey it's getting late. how bout we get you back shall we." "or I could just stay. Lizzie kicked me out tonight. her and MG are together tonight. normally I just stay in Cleos room but she's in there tonight so I need somewhere to stay tonight. please." " oh um... sure.. yeah. do you want your own room? I have like a million of them or do you want to share? " I ask awkwardly. " hmm hahaha we could share I don't mind. unless you don't then that's fine too." "what no no I would love to share with you." " so I guess we're sharing then. as long as sleeping is all we do" I smile at her and grab her hand " as fun as that's sounds I would never force or pressure you into that. sleeping is fine by me." "ok" I kiss her knuckles. we head into the house and go to my room. I give her one of my t-shirts to sleep in and she takes it. she goes to the bathroom and changes and gets ready for bed. while she does that I get ready my self I strip and put on some sweat pants and wait for her to finish so I can brush my teeth. three minutes later and she come out. man does she look hot in my shirt. I head in to brush my teeth. when I get done and walk out Hope is laying in my bed with her eyes already closed. I go to the other side of the bed and get in and turn the lamp off. I pull her to me and wrap my arms around her and drift off to sleep.

POV: Hope

I wake up and I'm wrapped in Noah's arms. i turn so i can see his face and he's awake staring right back at me. " good morning" he says. i mumble a morning. we just lay there for about an hour and decide to get up. i go change. while i get done and Noah's not in the room so i head down stairs in search of him. i find him in the kitchen cooking breakfast. my phone buzzes notifying me i got a text i look to see who it is and its lizzie.

Lizzie: hey MG is gone you can come back now.

Hope(me): ok B there in a few hours.

Lizzie: BTW u got a package this morning

Hope (me) : package?? i didn't order anything. wheres is from?

Lizzie : it doesn't say. should i open it

i dont know why but i have a bad feeling out this.

Hope (me) : yes. just be careful

i wait like ten minutes and she anwers me back. just as she does Noah sets a plate of breakfast in front of me. i decided to eat then check lizzies response. Noah and i enjoy our food will having a little small talk. we get done and he goes to set the dishes in the sink and washes them. while he's doing that i check lizzie's response to this mystery package.

Lizzie: OMG hope u need 2 get in here ASAP

Hope( me ) : Lizzie what is it. what's going on

Lizzie: Hope just get here trust me

i knew i had a bad feeling about this but it just got worse. i go tell Noah that i need to leave now and get back to school and that something is wrong. he looks at me concerned and runs and grabs his keys and we rush to his car and to the school. we get there and i head inside to my room with Noah following me. i get there and Lizzie is pacing the floor and the rest of super squad is here too. lizzie points to the package on my bed. i go look and see whats inside it. oh my gosh!! there is a set of eye balls in the box along with a note it reads :

watch your back Hope Mikealson. this is a deceleration of war. who do the eyes belong to? someone who chose the wrong side. An ex perhaps. You killed my brethren. there is only one way true peace can be.

an ex? war? i killed them? who is this? then i remember ed the phone call i had last night. what do they mean by only one way for true peace? i have so many questions.

"who's eyes are those? " lizzie asks. " i dont kno...wait ex... i only have two of them and thats if you want to even count him as one.. theres no way to get landons eyes so that leaves Roman... Roman?" i say. " who sent this ?" caleb asks and i have no idea. ive killed a lot of people.

its now after lunch and i still cant get that package and note out of my head. im getting restless so go to Carolina's office and ask her if i can go for a run. she said yes and to stear clear of the old mill because there were kids there preping for a party tonight. i walk out to the woods and start my shift. i finsh and take of running. i run and run until i cant run any more. i walk back to the school still in wolf form. when i get close i shift back to human form and head inside. i go to my room and get started on my homework. my mind ended up drifting back to this morning and i decide to call marcel. ring ring ring ... "hello? " " hey marcel. how have you and aunt rebeka been?" "oh hey kiddo. were fine actually. how have you been?" "fine. will i see you during Christmas in New Orleans? " " yeah. we will both be there. now whats the real reason you called?" " well i had this weird package show up today and this phone call last night telling me to watch my back and declaring war and a pair of eye balls in the package along with this note." " that is really odd. why are they declaring war on you or for ? and who are the eyes?" " all great questions. well the note said that i kill there brethren and this is the only way for true peace. the eyes i think might be romans. i was wondering if maybe you could track him down for me to make sure." " i will see if i can track him down for you but Hope you need to be careful. " "i know but dont worry marcel only a red oak stake can kill me. ill be fine." "yeah but still hope. theres always a loophole. just try and stay safe for me." "ok. i promise. thanks." " no problem kiddo. anytime. so i guess i better go and get this started." " yeah. ok bye love you." "bye love you too see you in two weeks" i feel better after talking to marcel. I finish up the last of my homework and head to the dining hall. it's now dinner time. I get my food and sit down with the squad members. finch usually sits with the other wolves but at least twice a week she sits with us. I tell them that I asked marcel to track down Roman. Lizzie suggested maybe asking her dad for help but I don't want to involve him so I vetoed that idea. Caleb, finch, and MG agreed with me on that one. Lizzie then decided to change the subject and told us about Josie. she said Josie was doing great. she sounds like she's really happy.

POV: Unknown

I just got done ripping two fingers off that traitors hands. His mother would be so disappointed in him. siding with wolves and freaks. especially that tribrid. she killed almost all of us. I will have my vengeance and complete our mission. complete HER mission. the factions can only ever truly be at peace if all are separated. I will achieve this even if I have to kill every wolf in the world. I just hope my phone call and package got my message across, though I imagine it did. I'm sending in a spy to the school to gain Intel. I was going to use Roman but he went against me. in fact my spy just showed up. she's a devious little witch. in fact she's gone to the school before and now she's going back.
