POV: Hope

It's been about a week since the whole package note eyes thing. Christmas is in a week so tomorrow ill be heading to New Orleans. Noah, Ava, Lizzie, and I are all at the mall doing some last minute gift shopping right now. I have to get gifts for Nick my baby cousin , uncle kol, and aunt rebekah still. I got keelin a big fuzzy blanket, devina a journal to start a grimore, aunt Freya a robe and some lotions, marcel I paint a portrait of him and aunt rebekah and a watch, Lizzie a tumbler with her name on it also one for Josie too, Noah a watch and a few shirts, and card and gift cards for super squad. we're currently in a clothing store and see this beautiful navy blue dress perfect for aunt rebekah. I ended up getting shoes to match it an some accessories to go with it. I didn't get Ava a gift because I didn't know about her so I'm getting one for her today also. after we make our purchases we go to the next store which is a toy store. Nick I about two now. I get him some hot wheels, a stuffed wolf and monkey, then some bath toys. after that store we end up in a book store. I found a book titled How to be a Better Con (I don't know if this is an actual book. I just made it up) and I also got some children's books. the next store for beauty products. I got a hand held mirror. we then head to the food court and eat lunch. I wasn't in the mood for food well not that kind anyway. so I tell them ill catch up in a minute. " umm wow. that's a really nice offer but I'm actually heading to New Orleans tomorrow morning. I'm spending it with my family. I don't get to see them very often." " yeah and I'm going to miss you babe" Noah tells me and kisses me on my cheek. " I'll miss you too" I say smiling at him. the water is boiling now so he puts the noodles in to cook. "so whats your family like Hope." Ava asked me. " well they are the original vampires. the very first vampires ever. so they can be a bit complicated. they are a little over a thousand years old. my uncle Kol is married now to a witch davina. aunt freya is a witch she is the oldest and has a wife keelin." "wait so your aunt is a witch and is a thousand years old?" Ava asks confused. " yes that is a whole story all its own. long story." i tell her. " ok but i want to hear that story later." she tells me. " no. its ok. its just my parents are gone. they died. sacrificed themselves for me. my mom she was the best. she was actually alpha of our pack. my dad huh... hes a bit more complicated. but he loved me more than anything. he and uncle elijah died together." It's now after dinner and we already exchanged gifts. Ava got a gift for me while we were at the mall too like i did her. she gave me a tumbler with some reeses peanut butter cups. Noah gave me a diamond bracelet which i protested and said was too much and still think it is.
