Level Two, Water Ocean,
Malina appears out of the portal, stepping into an area that was surrounded by water. She could see some sharp fins skipping the water and already guess that she was dealing with sharks.
"Welcome to Level Two! Water Ocean! The Medium Race. Watch out for traps and Man-eating Sharks! Reach the end to receive an upgrade!"
"Man-eating sharks? I've seen the Jaws movies. I'm not going anywhere near those sharks!" Malina said.
She recalls Danny bringing over a movie at one point, thinking the girls would have liked it. It was about a Great White Shark that attack people. The movie was based on a real-life shark attack. Luckily, the person survived. Just from the opening minutes alone was enough to make her walk away from the movie. There was something about that movie that made her uneasy. She gets that sharks are wilding animals and were just following their instincts. But it looks wrong for some reason. She even refuses to see the others.
She shook her head, she has a race to win. Knowing Chel, she probably sent the levels to two out of three. Meaning if she loses this race, Chel would finally beat her. And her pride as a gamer would take a hit.
"Might as well get going." She said, looking at the map.
"For Danny." She whispers, course the best path she could make.
Meanwhile,
Zdrada watched as her sister thinks over her choices before they heard a knock on the door. Cerberus didn't bark this time but growls instead. Lucifer could also feel some hate from beyond the door before turning to Judgement. With a nod, Lucifer use her powers to open the door as Judgement sent out chains to wrap Sam up as she came rushing in.
"Sam," Lucifer said, glaring at the girl.
"Where is she?!" Sam shouted.
Danny did tell them that Sam was an animal lover and she hated to see animals get hurt. Even in video games.
"Malina is busy with a race. A race full of man-eating animals." Zdrada said.
"SO?! Anyone that hurt animals will answer to me!" Sam shouted.
"How does she even know?" Cerberus asked.
"It doesn't matter where they're from! If an animal is hurt, I will stop whoever hurt them!" Sam shouted.
"Even if the person that does it in order to stay alive?" Zdrada asked.
"What?" Sam asked.
"My sister is trapped in a game where wild man-eating animals are at every corner. They are going to attack her no matter what. She's fighting to stay alive. And you should know how dangerous man-eating animals are!" Zdrada told her.
"Well, yes, but that doesn't mean..." Sam started.
"It means, Malina has every right to defend herself! Even if that means killing the animal that would kill her! And it's a video game! They are based on real Animals! You're getting work up over nothing!" Zdrada yells.
"They're still animals!" Sam shouted.
"Is that how you see us?!" Zdrada shouted back.
"Sam, from just a short time we know you, you still haven't accepted us! Do you keep forgetting that we're demons and we can sense your negativity?! You overcome your punishment once, and it looks as if you're about to give up. But the minute you heard that Lucifer was pregnant with Lilith, you went right back to the way you were! Hell, I can even sense you blame us for what happened to Danny!" Zdrada said, clearly angry.
All, but Azazel, nodded at Zdrada's words. They, too, can sense Sam's feelings.
"I would rather not put you under Hell's Punishment, but if you keep doing this Sam, I'll have no choice but to do so. We already gave you a taste before." Lucifer said, causing the goth to flinch.
"And I'm not going to drive them out," Azazel spoke up.
Sam looks ready to say something, but Justice wraps her headband around her mouth.
"Right now, one of us is trapped in a video game, fighting for her life. And you are going to sit here and be quiet! And Tucker can come in too." Lucifer said.
Tucker carefully steps in. He was worried about what Sam would do and stood outside. Hearing Lucifer telling him to come in, he figured it must be safe. Seeing Sam tied and gagged means that she tried to take her anger out on them, forgetting that they were demons and one of them was the Devil herself.
Zdrada sat down and watch as her sister dodges traps and some sharks trying to jump at her.
"Hey, Zdray! Let's play!"
"Okay, okay! And don't call me that, Malinka."
Zdrada lets out a small smile. She trusted her sister. And she'll show that Chel bitch who's boss.
Back in the game,
Malina dodges another shark before catching herself from falling into a trap. This was harder than the first level, that's for sure. She dodges another shark before grabbing its tail. She quickly swings it to another shark, knocking them both away from her. She turns to a chest and opens it. To her surprise, the game gave her a rare power-up, Ice Arrows.
Remembering another game Danny introduces her to, Malina grabs it and aims an arrow at the water. She shot it and watched as the patch of water froze over, stopping the sharks from trying to get her.
"HA! Try and get through that!" She laughs.
Malina waste no time racing through the rest of the level, using her new ice arrows to freeze parts of the water and some sharks. It didn't take her long to reach the other end of the side, where Chel was nowhere in sight.
"Hmm, I better pick my next upgrade and cross that finish line." She said.
Once more, she saw the special reward and taps it. Instead of armor, a sword appeared. It was long and shining. Its blade was in a deep red color, and the handle was black with horns on the side. It even had a red gem in it and some words written in demon language.
"To my favorite Gamer Demon. DP"
"WHAT?!" Malina shouted after she translated what was written.
'Danny?! But..." She thought, surprised
She quickly snaps out of it, deciding to question this after she gets out of the game. She ran across the finish line and heard a voice.
"PLAYER TWO, WINNER! LEVEL 3 WILL NOW OPEN!"
"NO! HOW DID YOU BEAT ME?!" Chel shouted as she ran up.
"I had a little frost help," Malina smirks, holding out an ice arrow.
"YOU CHEATER!" Chel shouted.
Malina rolled her eyes. Chel would always call someone a cheater just because they beat her. Danny had taught her how to be a fair player, and she had more fun than before when she does. Even if she gets a little carried away at times.
"Well, this it, Chel. If I win this next race, then I can go back to the others and you would never challenge me at another game again. You will have to admit I'm the Queen of Games!" Malina said, smirking.
Chel growls before smirking.
"That's what you think." She said, pressing herself on Malina, making their breasts push against each other.
"I'm not going to stop. When I win the next race, you have to give up your position as one of the top demons to Lucifer. And recommend me as your replacement!" She said.
"I can't do that! Lucifer has to agree to it as well!" Malina told her.
"She already did," Chel smirks.
In the real world,
"I DID NOT!" Lucifer shouted as she heard the words.
Zdrada narrow her eyes when she heard what Chel was after. True, they were some of the most powerful demons in Hell, but they all enter their positions differently.
"Chel also forgets it's a group effort!" Cerberus said, angry.
"Not true. Justice what the only one that recommend me to take her place, and I never met any of you until I got the job." Judgement said.
"And I never took part in any of this," Beelzebub added.
"She's after something and it's not Malina's position," Tucker said.
All of the girls agree with his words. If Zdrada knew one thing, she'll never accept Chel to replace Malina. Whatever she was after, she hopes that Malina would teach her a lesson she won't forget.
And done. But Damn it! I was hoping to cover both Level 2 and 3 in this chapter! But it looks like Malina will have to deal with her rival a little longer. And I see no more rivals in the reviews. That's fine, by the way. I understand you all can't think of any at the time and I'm not mad about it. Also, SargentEpsilon, I saw you thinking of a rival for Beelzebub, but I already stated that both she and Lucifer won't be getting new rivals. Because they already have rivals, each other. So, the next chapter will finally end this mini-rivalry with Malina and Chel. And it appears that Demon Danny is somehow helping Malina! Does that mean the real Danny is still in there? Only time will tell.
