Okay, it's time to finish this rival with Malina. I wasn't excepting to make this three chapters long, but I guess it can't be helped at times. Also, can someone remind me later to bring in the dog that Judgement found in the comics? I did read a few of them and I do like the idea. And I don't mean Cujo. He probably wouldn't take too kindly to the girls since all but one of them are demons.
Malina blinks as she steps onto a ring surrounded by lava. She knew that lava doesn't bug her and the others that much, but she was inside a video game. The rules work differently here.
"So, Malinka, are you ready for the last level?"
Malina growls and faces Chel. The she-demon smirks at Malina.
"WILL YOU STOP CALLING ME THAT!?" She shouted.
"Why? Your sister calls you that all the time?" Chel said, still smirking.
"There's a difference between her and you! She does it to annoy me! You're just pissing me off!" Malina shouted.
"Well, once you lose, you have to get used to it. Because that will be your name when I take your spot." Chel said.
Malina growls before taking a breath. She always let her anger get the best of her. She was a demon after all, but she did remember something both Danny and Jazz told her.
"Malina, I know you get upset at things because you're a demon. But if you keep letting your anger get the better of you, then you just end up hurting the wrong person and you'll be stuck in place." Jazz told her.
"Jazz is right. Sometimes your opponents want you to be angry. Sure, it might work in your favor, but often it works against you. I've been on that end a few times myself." Danny added.
"Don't let them get to you. Keep a calm mind and you'll be fine. It's the same for video games. Take a minute to step away and calm down." Jazz said.
Malina breathed through her nose, feeling her anger die down. They were right. She needs to keep a calm mind. If she was going to win and find out what Chel knows about Danny, then she needs to relax.
Chel was surprised. She thought that Malina would have attacked her by now. Sure, she was known as the Sour Demon, but she was more known for her anger. Seeing her taking a few breaths to calm herself down was strange.
"Okay, what's this race about?" Malina asked.
"Race? On no, Malinka. This round isn't a race. The game was set to best two out of three. We both won a race, your cheater." Chel said.
Malina rolled her eyes but was listening to what she was saying.
"This final round will deem the winner of the game. What we have to do is simple. Knock each other into the lava." Chel explains.
"Let me guess, we have to use the power-ups we gain along the way?" Malina asked.
"That's right. Now, are you ready?" Chel said, smirking.
"Let's get this over with," Malina said, sighing.
She knew that Chel had played this game many times before head, meaning she got more power-ups than she does. But Danny did tell her that even if she's limited, she'll have to make do with what she has. So far, she had a special sword, strong armor, and a powerful bow with ice arrows. She wouldn't put it past Chel to have lots of items on her right now.
"Are you ready, Malinka?" Chel asked, pulling out a long broadsword.
"Yeah," Malina said, pulling out her sword.
'For Danny.' She added in thought.
In the real world,
"It looks as if something is starting to get interesting," Beelzebub said, seeing the two demons getting ready to fight.
Everyone looks and saw them pull out their swords. Zdrada then notices something on the screen.
"CRAP!" She shouted, confusing the others.
"What?" Cerberus asked.
"Look! Above their heads!" She said, pointing.
They did and gasped. Above Chel's head was the CUP sign, with Malina having a 1PL sign.
"Are you kidding me?! Malina has been in control of herself throughout the entire game! It's just now saying someone has to play as her?!" Judgement shouted.
Zdrada knew this was bad. Chel must have done something to the game in case Malina would win one of the rounds. However, Zdrada has seen her sister play tons of games and even play a few with her. She picks up the controller and got her game face on.
"Well, if Chel wants to cheat. Let's cheat back!" She said, pressing the start button.
Inside the game,
Malina felt strange. The minute she draw her sword, her body froze. However, it faded a few seconds later. She shook her head and saw Chel charge at her. She quickly blocks the strike, surprising Chel.
'HOW?! I MADE SURE SHE COULDN'T MOVE!' Chel thought.
Malina then kicks her back before charging at her. Chel blocks the sword before getting a closer look at it.
"NO! HOW DID YOU GET THAT?! I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THAT SWORD WHEN I GOT THE GAME?!" She shouted.
"Let's just say I have someone that as much as a gamer as I am!" Malina said.
She then pushes Chel's sword down before headbutting her. Chel growls before putting her broadsword away. She then pulls out a double katana. Chel then charges at Malina swinging each katana. Malina switched between blocking and dodging each swing before she felt one of the katanas nick the bare skin on her arm.
Chel smirks before holding both katanas in the air, causing lightning to hit them. She swings them down, shooting the energy at Malina.
Malina felt something happen to her, and before she knew it, she was swinging her sword in a sideways ark, cutting the energy in half.
'How did I do that?!' Malina thought in shock.
Even Chel was shocked. However, she had another plan in mind. Something she knew that will work.
"So, they figure it out." She said, confusing Malina.
"Figure out what?" She asked.
"I have sent the game to make me a computer player with you being player 1. It looks as if someone else is controlling you. My best guess is that your big sis is helping you." Chel smirks.
"WHAT?!" Malina shouted in shock.
She was being controlled by her sister?! However, Malina then thought about it. Out of all the demons that she play with, there was one that knew how she play the most. Her sister, Zdrada. Sure being controlled by her sister does make her mad, but she trusted her. She wouldn't trust anyone else to do so.
"Okay, being controlled by Zdrada is upsetting, but I know Zdrada. Besides, we have been taking lessons of being siblings from Danny and Jazz. Zdrada knows how I play, so I trust her. BUT YOU!" Malina said before getting angry.
"YOU THE CHEATER THIS TIME! TRYING TO MAKE ME LOSE A MATCH WITHOUT A CHANCE TO DEFEND MYSELF IS CROSSING THE LINE! ZDRADA! LET'S SHOW THIS BICTH HOW A REAL GAMER PLAYS!" She shouted.
Malina felt one of her hands move, flicking Chel off.
"Heh! That was from Zdrada." Malina smirks.
"FINE! THEN I'LL JUST BEAT YOU MY WAY!" Chel shouted, pulling out a giant cannon.
"How do you like this?! This is the DEATH CANNON ULTIMATE FIRER! I got this baby on my first playthrough!" Chel laughs.
Malina rolled her eyes. Sure, it was big, and she had no doubt it could defeat her in a single hit, but she knew Chel. Chel always calls herself a top gamer, but really all she did was use cheat codes to take the easy way out. She learned that cheaters never got far, and she was being unfair to her opponents. It was much more fun giving others a chance.
"Then give me your best shot," Malina smirks, already knowing Zdrada has her back.
"FINE! TAKE...THIS!" Chel shouted, firing.
Malina watched as the giant blast headed for her, waiting for Zdrada to make her move. The blast hit her and Chel smirks.
"HAHAHA! I WIN!" She laughs.
The smoke started to clear up and Chel's laughing started to die down. To her shock, Malina was still standing, without a scratch!
"WHAT?! HOW?!" She shouted.
"Perfect Dodge. It's a move that you can use at the last second to avoid damage completely. Too bad for you, Zdrada knew just how to time it. So, now it's my turn!" Malina said, drawing her bow.
She fires an arrow at Chel, who barely dodges it due to her shock of Malina dodging her cannon blast.
Malina then taunts Chel, using her hand to beckon her to come closer. Chel growls and drew a giant sword. Malina smirks and waited. Chel beings it down on her, and was shocked again to see Malina block it.
"WAIT! THAT ARMOR?!" Chel shouted, noticing it.
Malina didn't answer her. Instead, she pushes the giant sword away before jumping towards Chel. She slashes her sword through her, causing Chel to spit up blood. She was sent flying from the ring, landing near the edge of the lava. Chel tried to sit up but found Malina's blade at her neck.
"Give up. You're no gamer. Cheaters never win." She said.
"Heh, I'm not done yet, Malinka. Remember that cut I gave you? Look at your arm." Chel said.
Confused, Malina did look. To her shock, her arm was starting to turn into stone!
"WHAT?!" She shouted.
"I already won! Once you're turned into stone, all I have to do is throw you in the lava. Then, I'll take your place as one of the most powerful demons in Hell!" Chel laughs.
However, Malina started laughing, surprising Chel.
"Hey! Malina! Stop it! Stop laughing!" She said, wondering if she lost it.
"You can't kill me." Malina before pushing Chel into the lava.
"PLAYER ONE, WINNER!"
"A cheap way to win, but I wasn't going to let you win like that." She said, seeing a portal opening up.
Malina smirks before reaching into the lava and pulls out Chel. She threw the demon into the portal before following her. Not knowing that another was also in the game, smirking.
"Well done, Malina. That's my gamer girl." He said before disappearing.
The real world...
Malina steps out, now back in her suit. Not far was Chel, who was also wearing her normal clothes.
"YOU CHEATER! YOU CHEATED!" She screams.
"Give it a rest, Chel. I play the game fair and square. Sure, I did a cheap shot, but's only because you tried to do it first." Malina said.
"Way ago, Malinka! I knew you could beat that bitch!" Zdrada smiles, placing her arm around Malina's shoulders.
Malina sighs, but made no move to push her sister off. Then Lucifer steps up, glaring at Chel.
"A deal is a deal, Chel. Tell us what you know about Danny." She said.
Chel sighs before smirking.
"Sorry, but I was bluffing. I don't know anything about him or where he is." She said.
"WHAT?!" All the girls shouted.
"Ba! Ba De!" Lilith said, growling.
"Lucifer, I think this demon needs to be taught a lesson," Beelzebub said.
"Agreed. Judgement?" She said, turning to the said demon.
"Yes?" She asked.
"Fire up the Sin Machine. It's time to go to work." Lucifer said.
"GLADLY! I'LL MAKE HER PAY FOR HER SINS!" Judgement said, smirking evilly.
"Wait! Can I do something first?" Modeus asked.
"By all means!" Lucifer said, knowing how upset she was.
"It's time to break a leg, or two! She said, pulling out her sledgehammer.
Malina turns away and walks toward her room. She ignores the cries downstairs before turning to a picture. It had her, Zdrada, Danny, and Jazz hanging out on a sibling day at the Amity Park Mall. This was shortly before Danny was turned into a demon on Halloween. She sighs and lays down.
"Danny, we will free you. No matter what!" She said.
And done! That's it, I'm finally done with Malina's rival. Now I can move on to the other girl's rivals. Sorry if the fight wasn't good. I have to admit my idea for it was jumping all over the place. Malina was actually able to get a legendary armor and sword, the most powerful ones in the game. And she got them by being really lucky. So, Chel lied. She didn't know anything about the boy the girls fell for, but some of you might have guessed that it was Demon Phantom that was secretly pulling strings behind the scenes.
Now, I'm thinking on Judgement's rival, and the only thing I can think of is another demon trying to take her job. She strongly believes that Judgement shouldn't be named Justice's successor. But that's all I got. No name or anything else. I'm still thinking on the other girls' rivals as well. I'm still open to ideas. And SargentEpsilon, it's completely fine if you can't come up with anything. Just remember, Lucifer and Beelzebub are out, they are rivals to each other.
