They arrived at the apartment Anakin looked around; it was nothing like his parent's apartment in the Imperial Palace on Coruscant. But it was home to this man and his wife. When they walked in you could hear a noise in the kitchen and a smell of something cooking. "Honey, we have a guest."

A small woman walked from the kitchen to get a better view of the doorway, she was small with blondish hair. "Oooh...Hi." She looked from her husband to the boy. Joseph spoke up and said "This is Anakin. Anakin, this is my wife Sarah Rodgers." Sarah spoke up, "Nice to meet you Anakin, I hope you like green beans." Anakin said "Honestly ma'am I would enjoy anything. Thank you for allowing me in your house."

"Well let me just get the food plated, I'll be right out." Sarah said.

"You can go in there, and wash up while dinner is served." Joseph said, while laying out a few forks and drinks out. Anakin went into the small room on the side of the hallway, to wash his hands and clean his face.

When he came back out, he saw most of the dinner was served on the table already and got closer to the table to eat. Sarah was just walking out of the kitchen with the last side of mash potatoes. Joseph sat closest to the window and Sarah sat on his right so Anakin sat on the left chair. This food looked so delicious, but nothing seemed like anything he had ever eaten. He was so hungry that did not care and grabbed from each dish. Sarah smiled at his eagerness and served her husband and herself as well.

"Do you like the food?" Sarah asked. "Yes, it's so delicious, Thank you so much again, you don't know how hungry I have….been." Anakin finished off slowly.

"Well, I'm glad Joseph found you then." Sarah said smiling.

They finished their dinner slowly and quietly after that.

"So I think I'm going to get going." Anakin said.

"Nonsense you can stay here tonight, like I told you all the benches at the park were taken. Plus we have an extra room, just across the restroom. Trust me it is more comfortable than the benches." Joseph said.

"Thank you, but you and your wife have more than enough. I greatly appreciate it. I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome." Anakin said. "You are more than welcome to stay here, I would not be able to feel comfortable letting you go out at this hour, especially at your age." Sarah said with a small smile. Anakin was not sure if he should stay here, he felt as though the Rodgers had shown him more hospitality than he had witnessed in the last past three months he had been here.

"At least just tonight, tomorrow I will help you find some blankets and coats, if you really wish to return to the park tomorrow night." Sarah pleaded. Something in her told him he should stay for at least the night. "Ok, just for the night. Thank you both." Anakin said softly to both Joseph and Sarah.

"I'll show you the way." Joseph said. So Anakin followed him to the room across the restroom. It was about the same size as the restroom, it had one twin bed on the far left side right next to the window. "Did you need a change of clothes, I can go look to see if I have anything your size." Joseph said. "Yes, Thank you." Anakin responded. So, Joseph went to look for clothes in his room, while he was gone Anakin looked around the room. There wasn't much to see as the room was pretty empty, except for a desk and chair on the opposite side of the bed.

It did not take long for Joseph to return back from his room, with him he carried a blue plain shirt, and stripped white and blue pants. "Here you go, this was all I found. I hope it isn't too baggy." Joseph said. "That will be just fine." Anakin said. "Well I leave you to it, goodnight I hope the passing cars aren't too noisy for you." Joseph said while walking towards the door. "That's fine, I have slept in more noisier places." Anakin said. Joseph smiled and nodded and was about to walk out the door, when Anakin spoke up again. "Joseph, I just really wanted to say, Thank You. Thank you for everything you have done, for the hospitality your wife and yourself have shared with me. I don't know what that man back at the shop would have done to me if you wouldn't have stopped him."

"No need to thank me Anakin, I'm just glad I was able to help you tonight. Goodnight." Joseph said before, walking out the room and closing the door.

Anakin put on the clothes Joseph had given him, and it was baggy, but it felt more comfortable than his Jedi training clothes and robe. As he laid down, he couldn't help but smile glad he was able to feel sleep tonight, even if it was for a night, on a bed.

The next morning, Anakin wakes up to the smell of food. He slowly walks into the kitchen and sees Joseph at the table eating breakfast. The plate had yellow food, meat of some sorts, and a glass of something white. He looks at it, but he can not recognize anything on the plate. Sarah notices his startlement, but thinks it's because he doesn't like the food. "I can make something else if you don't like eggs and bacon." Sarah says. "Its' fine, it just…." Anakin trails off, but seeing Sarah's worried face and not wanting to offend her, decides to confine her. "It's just I have never seen food like that. Just curiosity. I would love to taste it." Anakin says with a smile. He doesn't miss the confusion written across Sarah and Joseph's face before it morphed into sorrow. "Oh my… the terror you must have witness, No don't worry I'll prepare you a plate to fill you right up." Sarah says.

Joseph stays looking sadly towards Anakin. "You must have had a hard childhood, if you have never seen eggs and bacon? Are you sure you are ok?" Joseph asks Anakin worriedly.

Then it clicks in Anakin like a flash, they think he was born in a troublesome home. "No, it is not like that. Yeah, I'm ok. It's just I'm not from around here." Anakin says quickly to try to get the misunderstanding corrected.

"Are you from the other side of the world?" Sarah asks as she sets the food in front of Anakin.

"Not exactly." Anakin says, not sure how to explain his situation, everyone he has asked about where he was, looked at him as if he was a crazy child. But something about their kindness tells him that they will probably believe him.

"I need you to keep an open mind." Anakin says. Joseph and Sarah nodded and waited for him to continue. "I don't think I'm from anywhere around here. One day I was on a mission with my siblings and a few other Jedis of our age. When I fell through a yellow fiery hole and ended up here. I think someone told me here it is called 'Earth' but I have never heard of such a planet. And every time I ask someone for a local port that can take me off world, they don't know what I'm talking about, saying the best plane only takes you as far as the clouds." Anakin tells the Rodgers. Joseph does not know if to believe him or not, what a wild story this young man has come up with. But, what reason would he have to lie. He turns to Sarah to see what reaction she would have, thinking maybe she would be crazed by the story, but she looks intrigued. So he looks back to Anakin. " A Jedi, you have siblings, where are they? What do you mean you have never heard of Earth, we are the only planet to have life." Joseph states.

"So you aren't from here, at all." Sarah blurts out before Joseph can keep ranting. "No, I'm not," Anakin says. "Can I ask you something, please answer completely honestly." Sarah says. Anakin nods yes. "Are you lying, and if you are not from 'here' then where are you from?" Sarah asks.

Anakin knew he needed to make sure both Joseph and Sarah believed him, so he looked them in the eye and said, "No, I am not lying, for the last few months I thought this was all a bad dream and I would wake up in my bed. But every morning I woke up, and every time I opened my eyes I was still here in this world." Anakin said, hoping they would believe him. "Ok , so let's say we believe you, so where are actually from." Joseph asked wearily.

"I was born on Nespis VIII, and lived a few years with my aunt Winter on Anoth. To keep me safe from people who tried to kidnapped me, or anyone who held a grudge against my parents. After, a few years I was finally able to live with my parents on Coruscant, with my siblings, CP3O, and Chewie. Sure, we weren't always together, but that made anytime we were, much more special. After that I moved to Yavin IV and began my training to become a Jedi." Anakin was saying when Sarah asked, "What's a Jedi?"

"Hmmm…the best way I can explain it is as a guardian of peace, using the force to help guide them in their works." Anakin said. " What's the FORCE?" Joseph asks.

"An energy that is in all things, living or non-living. Some have the ability to manipulate it. I usually have that ability, but since I have been here I haven't been able to use the Force, it is like I have been locked out of it." Anakin states as he stares at his lap sadly, because if he could still use the force he would be able to reach out to his family, and they would have come for him already.

Sarah looked confused at him, but something in his voice as he told them his story they way his face light up, when speaking about his family, told her he was being sincere. "Well I'm sorry you have had to endure that, I wish there was something more we could do to help you find your parents.'' Sarah tells Anakin. Anakin nods in agreement, but he is just glad that she believes him. "Joseph?" Sarah asks. Waiting for his reaction. However, Joseph was having a hard time grasping everything, he wanted to believe Anakin it just he was having a hard time.

"I'm going to need time to process everything.'' Joseph said. " I understand, don't worry, it's ok if you don't believe me." Anakin says.

Joseph nods glad Anakin understands. "Well off to work I go, I hope to see you when I get back Anakin." Joseph says as he stands and gathers his things. " I'll see you later Sarah." Joseph says as he kisses Sarah on the cheek and walks out the door.
