Chapter 28 - A Russian Coup d'Etat
...
Later in the day, I'm relaxing in the Red Winter office's lounge as Cherino naps somewhere. One problem through.
"...Bored." I drawl out, before standing up and stretching my body with a groan.
As my muscles relax, I begin to walk to Cherino's office in hopes to wake her up and continue doing... whatever I'm supposed to do here.
As I walk down the halls, I hear something. Looking out of a nearby window, I see... a bunch of angry people.
...
...
Angry... people...?
In a place that resembles Soviet Russia...?
...
...
...Oh, fuck.
Pushing off the ground, I begin to sprint to the short president's office.
After a short sprint, I open the door to find Tomoe speaking with Cherino, mustacheless.
"Oh, Sensei! Thank goodness you're okay." Tomoe says, relieved.
"Yeah, I'm fine, but there's a bigger problem." I say, concerned.
"It had better be a big problem to have you BOTH interrupt my nap time!" The short girl roars.
"I doubt your students throwing a damned coup d'etat could be anything but a big problem." I say, dryly.
"What, another coup?" The short girl asks. Another? "Which club is it this time? The Mint Chocolate Liberation Front? The Revolutionaries Against Lemon on Fried Chicken Federation?"
"Th... The fucking what now?" I ask, torn between surprise and confusion.
Fortunately, no-one seems to hear me as the militaristic loli continues. "Not that it matters. If we leave the coup-stopping to Chairman Marina, then there's nothing to worry about. So don't interrupt my nap over trivial matters!"
"But, um..." The taller girl begins, nervous. "The thing is, the one behind the coup is... Security Chairman Marina."
"Wh-What did you just say?!" Cherino shouts, eyes wide in shock as she trips on her feet, landing on her butt. "Owwww..."
"You all right?" I ask, walking to her.
"I-I'm fine." She says, whining a bit. I offer her my hand, which she takes and promptly stands up. "M-More importantly! Why would Marina stage a coup? I didn't do anything to her!"
"I'm not sure, either, Madam President." The purplish haired girl admits.
"Could it be because... I ate the pudding she had been saving?!" Cherino asks. "Or because I drooled on her cherished teddy bear while I was taking a nap?"
"I... doubt it'd be either of those. More pudding can be bought and teddy bears can be cleaned." I say. Though, I wonder how teddy bears are still called teddy bears here? Doesn't their name have something to do with Theodore Roosevelt and a bear?
"Ugh, what do I do, Comrade?" She asks me.
"The State Guard led by Chairman Marina will be here at any second. It isn't safe here anymore." Tomoe advises.
"Well, grab whatever y'all need and let's go." I say. "I'd rather not have to fight an angry mob."
"B-But, where can we even go?" Cherino asks.
"There's an old unused school building on the outskirts of Red Winter. If we hide there, even Chairman Marina will have trouble finding us." The taller girl says.
"That's a sound of a plan as any." I say, agreeing.
"R-Right. Then this is a temporary retreat!" The shorter girl declares. "I'm definitely not running away!"
"...No one said you were." I point out, causing the small girl to avert her gaze from me, nervous.
"Come on, let's hurry." Tomoe says.
Thus, Tomoe led us through a secret exit in the office, which led directly outside of the school. Then, we began to walk through the snow to the old school building. Considering this is like Russia, I wonder if there are any bears.
"Are you cold, Sensei?" Tomoe asks. "Even though it's nearing summer, Red Winter is still a cold place, year-round."
"Nah, this coat and stuff are enough." I wave off her concern. "Matter of fact, I used to live in a place colder than this."
"Truly?" The purplish haired girl asks.
"Yup. It wasn't for long, but it made me really resilient to the cold. The place would only get up above freezing on the hottest of days in summer, and even then, it was only a handful. Maybe a dozen days of 'warmth', and that's being generous."
"Ugh... We've already been walking for an hour..." The military loli whines, interrupting our conversation. She is now wearing her mustache, which she ALMOST left in the office. "Where is this place we're going?!" She roars. "I don't even see anything that looks like a building! How much farther is our destination?!"
"Red Winter is famous for being the largest of all Kivotos' Academies, in terms of land. It takes a little more time to walk to the outskirts, I'm afraid." Tomoe says, convincing me that this is Russia.
How would Russia turn out with Cherino as their leader...? Probably better than that idiot that was running it before I ended up here.
"I get that, but come on!" The white haired girl continues to whine. "Ugh, my legs hurt so much. I can't take another step!"
"Should we rest for a bit, then?" The taller girl asks.
"Or do ya want me to carry you?" I ask.
"Carry me." She decides. Obliging, I crouch down, allowing the short girl to grasp her arms around my neck. Putting my hands under her legs, I stand up. "U-Uhh... I-It's higher up than I thought it would be..." She says, shakily. "But I can see much farther, and the air here feels so refreshing!"
"I suppose I AM pretty tall." I point out. All the robot and animal men are much shorter than me. Hell, even Black Suit was a few inches shorter than me!
"So this is how Marina and Tomoe see the world..." She short girl mutters.
"Nah, they see it a fair bit lower than myself." I say.
"Wow, look at you go!" Tomoe cheers on her president. "You're like a monkey hanging off a tree! So cute, err... I mean, dignified!"
"Y-You think so?" The short girl asks with an awkward chuckle.
"How about a photo to commemorate this moment?" The taller girl asks, a smile and faint blush on her face.
"Feel free! I won't be hidden in the photo if I'm all the way up here!" Cherino says.
Tomoe, does so by pulling out her phone and taking a few pictures of the small girl. "Wow! Look, Cherino. You look so tall when you're on Sensei's back!"
"Let's see..." Cherino says, looking at the secretary's phone. "You're right! Hehe. This is great. Once I'm back in power, I'll have someone let me ride on their back all the time. No one will be able to look down on me ever again!" She says with a boisterous laugh.
"That's a wonderful idea, President Cherino." Tomoe says. "The sight of you solemnly giving orders from atop someone's back will surely make the students of Red Winter appreciate your authority more than ever."
I just chuckle at the student's antics. Even though they've had to flee their home, they're still having fun. Almost makes me a little jealous. "You gonna make that Marina's punishment?" I ask, with a smile.
"Of course not!" Cherino says, liking the idea. "She'll be punished for this whole coup business, THEN she will have the honor of carrying me around. How about a month of feeding the rabbits? Wait, but rabbits are cute. She needs to do something scary and bad..."
"You can think it over on the way. Come on." I say, beginning to walk forward as Cherino keeps thinking up new and... rather un-threatening punishments.
"Are you getting tired, Sensei?" Tomoe asks a while later.
"Nah, I've carried heavier stuff for longer distances. This is nothing." I say, shrugging.
After another hour of walking, we step out of the snow and into a run-down building. The windows have green vines, lightly covered in snow, grown over the outsides of them, as well as boards placed haphazardly over them on the inside. Parts of the ceiling tiles have fallen to the floor and the painted walls are stained with dirt. Various pieces of wood, like desks, chairs and the like are scattered around and pushed against the walls. Have people been living here...?
"We've finally arrived, Madam President. Welcome to the former institute." Tomoe says, as I put the small girl down. "Although it's long abandoned, it was once a glorious place where the students of Red Winter Academy lived out their youth and studied hard."
"Now it just looks like a dirty, old ruin..." The short girl trails off. "And a creepy one at that. Feels like a bear could pop out at any second."
"A bear? I haven't seen a bear in person in a long time." I say to myself.
"Do we really have to stay here, Tomoe?" Cherino asks, almost pleading.
"Yes, but you'll surely return to the secretariat someday." The secretary says, trying to cheer the short girl up. "But so long as Chairman Marina is chasing you, going back isn't an option. But if you work hard, I'm sure you'll be able to go back sooner than you think!"
"R-Really?" Cherino asks hopeful. "I guess nothing can be done unless I wield my power! Very well, henceforth this building will be mission command, and we will use it to reclaim the secretariat!" She proclaims.
"Who says you get to decide something like that?!" A feminine voice shouts angrily.
"Wh-Who's there?! Is it a b-bear?" Cherino asks, fearfully, having recoiled a few steps back in fright.
"Bears can't talk dummy." I say, but go un-heard.
From around the corner, a girl has appeared. She has light blonde hair, tied into a long, loose braid with a red band that has a white, fluff ball on it. Her eyes are a pale red. On her head is a grey and black hat with a small, black brim and the Red Winter logo on the center. On her body is a grey vest covering a black shirt with a small, red collar and all of it is covered by a thick, black and grey coat. On her hands are grey and black gloves. Poking out from the vest is a grey skirt. Her legs are covered with black leggings and dark blue socks which end below her knees. Her feet are covered with very, very thick black and grey boots. Around her back is a MASSIVE white and black telescope, along with a brown teddy bear wearing a santa hat, a pair of black binoculars and a black sub-machine gun with white trim, detailed with white snowflakes. Her halo is red at the top, then fades to yellow at the bottom. It consists of a ring with small rectangles attached, making it resemble a gear. Three of the rectangles, at 10, 2 and 6 o'clock are wider than the ones at 8, 4 and 12 o'clock. Inside is a rectangle, split into a triangle shape.
"A-A bear? Where is it?" She asks.
"Calm down, Nodoka. President Cherino just imagined things in her panic." Another girl, having just appeared, says to the blonde girl, who I suppose is Nodoka.
The new girl has short, mint colored hair which fade into two, grey animal ears. Her eyes are a rather pretty shade, starting blue at the top, then fading to purple. She wears the same hat as Nodoka, except the Red Winter logo is surrounded by grey shapes, making it look more important. Her outfit consists of a grey and black top, with a similarly colored cloak, it's neck ending just below her chin and flowing down to her waist, along with ammo or perhaps supplied strapped to the front of it, at the bottom. Her legs are mostly hidden by her tall, white and grey boots, which end just below her knees. Her boots have high, black heels. She has white and blue leggings on, along with black kneepads. On her hands are grey and white gloves. There's also a large animal tail, the same color as her ears, mint fading to grey, popping out from her coat. Slung around her shoulder is the blue strap to her white grenade launcher, trimmed blue. Her halo is a steely purple and blue gear shape with a smaller, snowflake shaped ring within.
"Panic? Me? N-Never!" Cherino protests.
"You mean you wouldn't panic from seeing that bear there?" I ask, pointing behind her.
"GAH?!" The militaristic loli shrieks in fright, leaping back a good few feet. Once she realizes there aren't any bears, she looks at me angrily, but upon seeing my raised brow and smug grin, she seems to deflate.
Looking around, I see Tomoe, Nodoka and the mint-haired girl chuckling silently.
"A-Anyway. Aren't you guys...?" Cherino trails off.
Nodoka huffs angrily. "So you finally recognize us?"
Cherino stares at her silently for a moment. "... Actually, no. I've got nothing."
"What?! You actually forgot who we are?! I don't believe this!" The blonde girl shouts in outrage. "We've been patiently waiting here, enduring the former institute's decrepitness, because we thought you'd come back and allow us to return to the main campus!"
"Still not really ringing a bell..." Cherino, now nervous, says. "Chief Secretary Tomoe, have we always had a club here at the former institute?"
"Not officially, but there is a holding facility for suspended students called Spec Ops Number Two-two-seven." The purple haired girl happily informs.
"It's for suspensions, though, right?" The small girl asks, which Tomoe nods to. "Why are these students still here? Shouldn't they be allowed back to the main campus?"
"Ah. Well, they can only come back if they receive an order from someone. You." Tomoe says.
"That's it!" Cherino says, remembering. "You're the pervert who got suspended for stalking people with a telescope from a rooftop on campus! I've been so busy leading our glorious academy that I forgot all about it!"
Nodoka shakes with rage at this revelation, her eyes wide. "You exiled us to this frozen northern hellscape and forgot about us?!" She roars, causing Cherino to recoil in fright. "How could you be so irresponsible?! Do you realize how hard it's been to even just SURVIVE out here? Forget snacks, we can't even get a basic meal here!"
"And we have no heater to deal with the biting cold." The mint haired girl adds.
"And there are bugs in our blankets!" Nodoka continues.
"And, occasionally, a hungry bear roams around outside..." The other girl says.
"S-So there really IS a bear here?!" The white haired girl shouts in fright. "I-I can't stay here, Tomoe. I-Isn't there somewhere else we can go?"
"Sorry, Cherino." Tomoe says, sternly. "Now is the time you need to show what makes you the leader of Red Winter Academy."
"But bears are so scary..." Cherino whines.
"Oh, don't be such a baby. It's just a bear." I say, waving off the girls concerns. "Or is the Great President of Red Winter with a million titles a wimp?"
"I'm not a wimp!" The short girl snaps.
"Anyway, if you're here President, does that mean we can finally leave?" The blonde girl asks, hopeful.
"Uh, I..." Cherino trails off, struggling to form a sentence.
"There was a coup and she ain't president anymore." I supplement.
"It's that darn Marina's fault! If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be in this miserable place!" The military loli shouts, upset.
"So, now you're just a powerless kid?" Nodoka asks, riling her up, even if it's not intentional. "What a letdown." She says with a sad sigh.
Cherino growls. "I'm not a kid! I may not be in charge right now, but I'm still Red Winter Academy's Great Leader, Beautifier of Lands and Chief of Sanitation. I am the Great Cherino, she who stands on high!" She then stands in front of Nodoka. "Gaze upon my magnificent mustache and know your place!"
Nodoka snaps, getting in the short girl's face. "Who gives a flip about your fake mustache?!"
"Wh-What did you just say...?" Cherino says, before turning to Tomoe and whispering. "T-Tomoe, how did they know the mustache is fake?"
Tomoe whispers back. "I'm sure it was just a lucky guess. You have nothing to worry about."
Unfortunately, she isn't whispering quietly. I turn to the two grey clad girls and shrug.
The white haired girl then gets back into the blonde girl's face. "O-Of course! That girl's just a filthy brat who doesn't know what she's talking about! Don't think I've forgotten about you perving on people through that telescope on the roof either!"
Nodoka reels back, her face red. "I-I'm not a pervert! Also, didn't you come all this way on Sensei's back? You're more of a pervert than I am!"
The short girl points a finger at the blonde. "That piggyback ride was merely a show of the bond between my comrade and I!" Didn't we just meet a few hours ago...? "You thinking it's perverted actually reveals your own dirty thoughts! Only a pervert would stalk Sensei!"
"I never stalked Sensei! Or anyone else, for that matter! That was a totally normal show of respect from afar!" Nodoka defends. "You're just lashing out because you're shorter than me!"
"You're younger than me! Show some respect!" Cherino shouts back.
"You both say that, but you're fightin' like elementary school kids." I say, deadpan. Walking up to them, I continue, drawing their attention. "Look, Marina's in charge right now and we can't take the place back by ourselves. What we need is allies, and not yell at potential ones. Considering NEITHER one of you wanna stay here, it would be best to work together."
"You're saying I have to work together with this little brat?" Nodoka asks, almost disgusted. "I refuse!"
"Then think of it as working with me." I offer.
The blonde girl remains hesitant, before the other girl pipes up. "There are ways of settling disputes like who is most mature!"
"Shigure?" Nodoka asks the mint haired girl, now named.
"Some old stories say a real grown-up can drink a whole keg of wine without getting drunk!" Shigure says. "And in that spirit, we'll hold a drinking contest to see who is the brat and who is the grown up!" The mint haired girl concludes.
"Did you forget that an adult is here and he ain't just gonna let you drink alcohol...?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, sorry. I wasn't saying we should use real alcohol. Instead, I've got some special kompot that I made for the Ivan Kupala Festival!" She says. "But, since our refrigeration here isn't great, it may have fermented a little..."
"This sounds sketchy..." Cherino says, shakily.
"You don't have to if you're scared, Madam President." Shigure says, with a knowing smile. "Though, I guess you'll never escape your reputation as a coward if you don't accept."
"S-Scared? Me?! I can drink anything!" The short girl protests.
"M-Me too! There's no way that I'm going to lose!" The blonde girl adds.
"Excellent. It's finally time for last fall's kompot to shine!" Shigure says... wait.
"Last fall...? Hang on, did you make this for the LAST Ivan Kupala?" I ask, eyes wide, just like to two who have agreed to drink it. Shigure just flashes me a silent smile, walking off. "I'll get a bucket." I say, walking around to look for something for them to throw up in.
A few minutes later, Shigure returns with two foul-looking drinks. They're a normal color, a pale red with fruit pieces whose color has faded. They simultaneously smell fruity and sour, a foul combo. The two girls look at the drinks with hestitation.
"Um... Shigure, are you sure this doesn't have any alcohol in it?" Nodoka asks.
"W-Wait, was she the student who was suspended for spiking kompot with vodka...?" Cherino asks, shakily.
"Vodka...?" I mutter. Very Russian.
"All right, that's enough chit-chat." Shigure says, changing the subject. "On your mark... Get set. Go!"
And so, the two girls begin to drink, pulling away with disgust on their faces every sip. That, along with their hesitance to take another sip every time they smell it, makes it take a long while for them to even drink a small amount.
Even after an hour, they're still going.
"Oooh.. Ugggh..." Nodoka whines, sounding exhausted.
"Th-This is torture... I've never even heard of kompot like this before..." Cherino whines, sounding equally as exhausted.
"Is there actually vodka in it?" I ask, turning to Shigure who just smiles.
"No, the problem is that-" Cherino begins, exhausted, before Nodoka shouts.
"Sweet! Way too sweet!" The blonde shouts, before whirling around to Shigure. "What's going on, Shigure?! This kompot is so sweet my teeth hurt!"
"Sugar burns quickly, making the candied fruits in kompot ideal for combating the harsh temperatures we face out here." The mint haired girl explains.
"Sure, but this is crazy! I can feel the sugar crystals in every sip! At this rate my teeth are going to all fall out!" The blonde girl whines. "Ugh, if I have to take one more drink, I think I'm gonna..."
I quickly push the bucket I found over to her.
"H-Heh..." Cherino manages to chuckle, albeit weakly. "Looks like you're at your limit. I eat all kinds of sweets at the secretariat. This sweetness is n-n-nothing to me! If you wanna give up, now's your chance!"
"Uggh... I don't want to lose, but..." Nodoka whines. "...I give up."
"Hurray, I did it!" Cherino cheers, standing up.
"What a brilliant victory, Great Leader! One befitting of our beloved President Cherino!" Tomoe cheers. "Today's contest will go down a momentous event in the history of Red Winter Academy!"
"Excellent idea, Chief Secretary Tomoe! Students of many generations to come will know of my greatness!" Cherino says, once again proud. "How should the story go? 'Red Winter Academy's President Cherino personally faced down the students of the Spec Ops and claimed sweet victory for...' Uh... Why did we have this contest again?"
Face, meet palm. I can feel the sting over the cold, surprisingly. I hear Shigure chuckle to the side, as Nodoka groans.
"Oh, well. Must not be important, all I know is that I won!" The short girl says with a boisterous laugh.
"Ugh, this sucks..." Nodoka whines. "I can't believe I lost to that little brat..."
"You're still calling me a little brat even after I've won?!" Cherino roars. "A-Anyway, you may not have been able to keep up with me, but you still did pretty decent. Had I neglected my pudding regimen, I wouldn't have been able to take a sip of that kompot without keeling over. Comrade Nodoka, as comrades on the battlefield of sweetness, I want to pay my respects to you for enduring everything to the end." She says, with surprising sincerity.
"President Cherino..." Nodoka says, surprised.
"Therefore, when I return to the secretariat, I will revoke your suspension immediately!" The white haired girl says.
"But you should have done that a long time ago!" Nodoka protests.
"H-Huh? Oh, really?" The short girl asks, surprised.
"Geez... I'll take what I can get." The blonde says. "Getting out of here without your help would be hard, and there's also Sensei to consider..." What does that mean? "So I'll help you out for now."
Cherino laughs proudly. "My great leadership finally bears its fruit. Even exiles can't help but be drawn in by my charisma!"
Nodoka shoots to her feet in rage. "Gah! I can't stand this arrogant little brat!"
"I told you I'm not a little brat!" Cherino shouts.
"Okay, okay." I say, stopping them. "Enough arguing, dammit. So, now what?"
"Well, since we're working together, why don't we properly introduce ourselves?" Shigure asks.
"That'd be good." I say.
"We never introduced ourselves...?" Nodoka asks, surprised. "Well, I'm Amami Nodoka. Nice to meet you, Sensei."
"And I'm Mayoi Shigure. It's a pleasure." The mint haired girl says.
"Well, I'm Joshua, a teacher from Schale. Pleased to meet y'all." I say with a smile.
A yawn breaks our conversation. "So sleepy..." Cherino says, holding a hand over her mouth.
"It isn't nap time yet... Are you already sleepy, Madam President?" Tomoe asks.
"Maybe it's a sugar crash.. My eyelids feel heavy." The short girl says, sleepy.
"We did walk for quite a while." I point out. "Fine, let's take a break. You two go find a place to nap. I'll stay here with these two." I say, pointing to the Spec Ops girls.
"Very well, Sensei. Come along, Madam President." Tomoe says, leading the short girl to another room.
"It's like watching a mother and daughter, huh?" I ask with a sly grin, causing the Spec Ops girls to explode in laughter.
After talking with the Spec Ops girls for a while, the military loli and purple-haired secretary returned. "Couldn't sleep?" I ask.
"No, there are bears around and bugs in the blankets." Cherino says sadly.
"So what're you gonna do?" I ask.
"I had an idea of where we can get an ideal nap." The short girl says. "It's quiet, the temperature is just right, and it even smells good."
"What, a bakery?" I ask, completely guessing.
"What? No, the library!" The short girl shouts.
"Ah. You sure they won't get upset? People aren't allowed to sleep in libraries, after all." I ask.
"Why would they deny me, The Great Cherino?" The white haired girl asks smugly.
I just look at the Spec Ops girls and roll my eyes, causing them both to smile.
"I'm sure it's nothing compared to the library at Trinity Academy, but our Red Winter Academy also has a great library." The short girl says proudly. "There are no noisy students, and it's dark enough for sleeping. There are even books to use as makeshift pillows! I swear it was made for naps, not keeping books! I must have taken a hundred naps there before I was ousted!"
"And so, having just ran away from the secretariat and the main building due to a coup, you want to go right back to take a nap...?" I ask, deadpan.
"Actually, the library isn't actually a part of the main building and is quite far from it. There shouldn't be any problems from Marina." Tomoe adds.
"Indeed. However, there IS one fatal flaw with this plan." Cherino says.
"A fatal flaw?" Nodoka asks.
"Red Winter's library also houses a pack of evil reactionaries who've rebelled against me at every turn. They're a group of bookworms who can't resist illegal, banned books." Cherino explains. "They're called the... uh... What was it called again...?"
"The Knowledge Liberation Front, Great Leader." The secretary helpfully adds.
"Yes! Those heathens at the Knowledge Liberation Front have disrupted my naps under the excuse that 'the library is for reading'." The white haired girl says.
"Hm? But didn't you just says no-one would deny you napping there?" Shigure asks, teasingly.
"That's... well..." Cherino says, nervous. "That doesn't matter! Our number one priority now is to defeat them and secure a cozy spot for our nap!"
"Wow, Cherino! Even in the grips of exhaustion, you're still formulating a plan to retake the secretariat!" Tomoe praises.
"Wait, what? The secretariat? I just want a nap..." Cherino says, confused.
"The library is a natural stronghold located atop a steep hill." Tomoe explains. I see where this is going.
"Which would make for a great base due to its natural topography." I conclude.
"Exactly, Sensei." The purple haired girl says. "Plus, the Knowledge Liberation Front is one of the three largest clubs at the academy! If we can recruit them as our allies, they'll be a great help in our fight against Chairman Marina and the State Guard! You devised such a brilliant plan in such a short amount of time... That's what makes you our Great Leader!"
"I-Is that so?" Cherino asks with a nervous chuckle.
I look over to the Spec Ops girls, just as confused as I am, and shrug.
"But all these compliments are no replacement for my nap!" The short girl protests.
"That's true." Tomoe says. "Now that we have a plan, let's go to the library right away!"
"Okay." Cherino says with a yawn. "Let's secure the stronghold of naps! Come along, Comrade!" She says to me.
"Welp." I say with a sigh, while standing up. "I guess I'll see y'all later." I say to the Spec Ops girls.
"Bye now." Shigure says with a smile.
"It was nice meeting you, Sensei." Nodoka says, smiling as well.
Now, for more walking...
"Nodoka...?" The mint haired girl asks, trying to get her friends attention.
"Nodoka?" She asks again, but the blonde girl's gaze is fixed to the retreating form of their Sensei.
"NODOKA?!" She shouts.
"Huh?! What?" Nodoka asks loudly, snapping out of her trance. Shigure, however, notices something.
"You were staring... and you're drooling."
"Ah?" The blonde asks, before quickly wiping her mouth with her sleeve. "Sorry about that... it's just..."
"I can already guess." Shigure says knowingly.
It's not that surprising that her friend has a new stalking... observing target.
Not that the mint haired girl can blame her friend... he is quite handsome.
AN
Looks like Joshua be seeing lots of Nodoka, or rather Nodoka will be seeing lots of him.
Oh, and uh...
Good luck with NNN.
I've already failed, so...
Next time, Sensei and the two stooges arrive at the library.
I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, and look forward to the next!
