Outside of the Solo Apartment Door
They made their way into the apartment but most were just glad to be finally able to find the room. They went down many halls and took many turns. The elevator ride was long, as well.
"Is this it?" Stark asked worriedly, "I just did my exercise for the day with our journey here." he finished off panting.
Steve just looks at it with a small smile. While Leia though, they really do complain about everything.
They enter the apartment that is quite big and spacious, with two smaller couches on either side of a bigger couch, all pointing toward the holo screen and the kaffe table sat in between the couch and screen. On the far left side sit a table with a total of ten chairs sitting on the perimeter of the table, the kitchen on the upper left hand side. Scattered on the walls of the living room, were holos, of the Solo family.
Sitting on one of the single couches was Han. while a younger woman walked back and forth behind the bigger couch. They were talking, but heard the commotion at the door and stopped to face the door.
"Wow, so you're rich here?" Clint said, with wonder.
"Huh, who would have thought?" Stark added.
"I'm not rich, my mother is." Steve said.
"That's exactly what a rich person would say, Rodgers." Natasha added slyly.
They stopped speaking as they entered the room. "Anakin?"
"Aww…how cute. Looks like an old girlfriend is expecting you." Stark added while laughing at his own joke.
"She's not that, she's my sister Stark." Steve said.
"Is it really you?" Jaina asked
Leia was about to respond, but knew Jaina needed to confirm it for herself.
"Yes, it is" Steve confirmed.
"Prove it"
"How do you want me to prove it, exactly?" added Steve.
Jaina thought for a moment before, finally thinking of a way. "How old were you when, you tried to get rid of Threepio."
"Really, that story again." Steve said with a little bit of irritation of how often his older siblings like to make fun of him for that incident.
"Well, I only know of two other people that know about that story, beside me and Threepio." Jaina responded.
"Oh don't remind me, Mistress Jaina." Threepio said, while slowly walking away towards the kitchen to try to avoid the subject.
"Wait…Who tried to get rid of CP30?" Leia asked.
"Wait. How come I am only now finding out about this." Han added with a small smile.
"Fine…I was 5 years old, and I was a bit angry with Threepio who would not let me skip my chores. In my frustration I ordered a Two-bee that was going to do all our chores. However, Uncle Luke found out and promptly gave us a long lecture about responsibility and sent the droid away." Steve answered.
Han was laughing at this point, " See, Leia I was not the only one who tried to get rid of CP30.
And to think I was grounded for a week, when he got off with a lecture from your brother."
"Grounded, how would mother ground you?" Steve asked, a bit confused.
At this point Tony and the rest of the Avengers were laughing. "I'll tell you when you're older, Rodgers." Tony answered while trying to stifle his laughter.
" I can't tell if I am more angry with your father's mouth, or with your actions Anakin?" Leia said.
That is when finally Steve looked at Jaina, and saw her smirk, and could feel her amusement through the force, and that is when Steve realized what Jaina's plan was.
"You knew it was me, didnt' you?" Steve asked.
Jaina answered with a small chuckle, " Of course, I knew I have been training in the force for as long as I can remember. Sorry little brother, I saw an opportunity I couldn't miss, to get you in a little in trouble." she finished while slowly walking towards Steve. When she reached him she gave him a hug. "Sorry, Anakin, I really did miss you, I had to try to make the most of the little fun I could find in this big dark galaxy." Jaina said as she released Steve from the embrace.
"Dark?" Steve asked.
"Yeah…you know with Ja…?" Jaina did not finish as she was interrupted by Threepio.
"Sorry to interrupt, but we only have two guest rooms available to accommodate the six guests. Your Highness, how would you like me to divide the rooms."
"Oh, hmm let me think about that, I'm guessing Anakin could sleep in his own room, and Jacen's old bed is still there, so one guest could take up that. Now that leaves four others?" Leia trailed off.
"Ummm. Yeah me and Tony could share a room, we have before. Thor and Banner leaving Clint and Natasha to another room." Rodgers said.
"Smart, Capiscle, separating the two lovebirds so there won't be any funny business." Tony says with a smirk while pointing at Bruce and Natasha.
Banner blushed furiously. "I don't think that is his reason Tony, I think he arranged it that way so I could be next to Thor in case the other guy decided to make an appearance." Bruce said.
"Yeah Stark get your head out the gutter." Clint responds by coming in defense for his friend.
"What Other Guy?" Leia asked.
"Oh, just when I get a little angry or frustrated, my alter ego likes to make an appearance, I can't control my actions or my thoughts, while he has the wheel. But I usually have him in control in my current form."Bruce asked.
"Great, you know he can have the guest room furthest from our room." Han said.
"Really, Han. Ignore him I usually do, you can take any room you are comfortable with, the two available are quite different from each other, one has the view of the skylines, while the other does not have the view but does have a holo screen, so you will be able to watch anything that will help keep you comfortable." Leia answered.
"Thank You, Miss." Banner said.
"As much as I would like to ask more questions about where you have been and how you being here it is possible, but I believe it is quite late, how about we let you all settle in for the night and we will talk as soon as you all wake up." Leia said.
"Yes, that would be great." banner said
"Agree" stark agreed.
"Han, can you help me show them to their room?" Leia said.
So on his first night back in his galaxy Steve settled on his old bed and slept, remembering his first night on earth, and all the time in between.
