" Alright team, here's the sitch, the client Janna Gawin, wants us to kill her ex-boyfriend Johnny Malken. " Blitz said as he stood at the head of the conference table.
"The story is a few months ago, she had just broken up with the #$%&er, and she was trying to go down some stairs to leave his place. "
" As she did he grabbed her arm, causing her slip, fall down, and ended up cracking her head like an egg. " Blitz said casually as he read from a beige folder as the team sat down.
" So, you have info on where the targets is this time? " Lily asked as she sat next to Loona at the conference table.
" I do, during the #$%&ing long rant the client had in my office, she said he lived in a house in Georgia. " Blitz said with a smug smile.
" Here's the rest of the $#%& about the target the client gave us. " Blitz said as he passed out sheets of paper to the team.
As they each were given a sheet of paper, minus Loona who was on her phone, they saw it had general and specific info on the target as they looked it over.
It had details on the targets appearance, his house and address, vehicle, his job and where he worked, and a list of places where he liked to go.
The paper said the target was 6ft' 2 with a good build, Caucasian with a slight tan, and had buzz cut light brown hair.
It also described his vehicle, a dark gray Chevrolet Silverado, as well as the numbers on the vehicle's licence plate.
" Alrighty, now that everyone's caught up, I'll show you the company armoury is Lily as we get our $#%&. " Blitz said as looked at the Hellcat assassin.
" Sure, I'm curious as to what you got in stock anyway. " Lily said as she got up from her chair and followed Blitz and rest of the team.
Blitz lead Lily down some hallways past the employees offices, arriving at a door on the right side of a hallway, with ARMOURY in bold white letters on it.
As Blitz opened the door, Lily saw a wide room with a long backless indoor bench in the middle of the room, and a metal door on the wall facing the door they entered.
The metal door was made of jet black metal, with a thick black metal door frame, and had a keypad under the door handle.
Blitz then quickly punched a series of buttons on the keypad, then processed to fling the door open as the team entered the armoury.
" Here it is, the I.M.P company armoury! " Blitz said enthusiastically as they walked inside the room.
The inside was quite spacious for a decent sized armoury, and had a light and dark grey interior, with black accents on the walls, ceiling, and floor.
Throughout the room, various weapons adorned the walls, from all types of melee weapons, guns, explosives, and more.
The armoury was divided into sections, each designated for a specific type of weapon, one for pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles, etc.
And near each gun section, were light grey ammo lockers, each labeled with what type of ammo they had inside.
" Wow, nice little arsenal you got here, very well organized too. " Lily said as she entered the armoury and looked around the room.
" Thank you, I like to keep things neat around here, I've got a system for all the stuff in here. " Moxxie said with a bit of pride.
" Yeah, yeah we get Mox, your a #$%&ing neat freak, now lets hurry the #$%& up." Blitz said as he went to pick out his choices of weapons.
With that, the whole team got busy going around and getting their gear and got ready to go on the mission.
Moxxie picked out a variety of guns, Blitz chose a sniper rifle with red flames on it, Millie grabbed a couple of knifes.
And Lily got few normal ammo clips for her Deagle, and for a black Beretta Px4 Storm she had as a backup gun.
" Alrighty, we all got our $#%& and ready to roll out? " Blitz asked as he finished checking the sight on his sniper rifle.
" Yep. " Lily said, finishing up checking her guns.
" All set Boss. " Millie said cheerfully as she clipped on two knifes on her belt.
" Ready sir. "Moxxie said as pocketed his guns.
" Great. " Blitz said with a smile as they headed out of the armoury.
" We're back Loonie, you ready with the book sweety? " Blitz asked cheerfully as he and the team entered the conference room.
" Yeah, of course. " Loona said with an annoyed roll of her eyes, pocketing her phone as she stood up from her seat with the grimoire in hand.
Loona then walked the back wall of the conference room, opening the grimoire to the bookmarked page as she did, and created a portal like before.
" Alrighty, let's #$%&ing go! " Blitz said enthusiastically, as he and the rest of the team followed him through the portal.
As the portal closed behind them, they saw they stood at the top of a small hill, and were greeted with a nice cool breeze.
The sky showed that night was fast approaching, with the sky getting dark, and sun barley lingering above the horizon.
" Hey guys look over there, I see our target's house not far from here. " Lily said as she pointing off in the distance.
As they looked where Lily was pointing they were given a good view of a large suburban neighborhood close to where they were.
The closest house to them in sight, was a house that was light gray blue color with white trims, and red roof shingles.
It also had a garage, and had a decent sized back yard with a shed, and had a dark oak wooden fence around the property.
" This looks like the right place, address matches and everything. " Lily said as she looked at the house with a set of binoculars.
" I see all the window blinds are shut, don't see any lights on inside, the target may be asleep right now from what I can tell. "
" Hmm, a few flood lights look like the only things we have to watch out for. " Lily reported as she stuffed the binoculars in her jacket.
" Great, here's a sticky note with the target's name Lily. " Blitz said as he handed Lily a yellow sicky note.
"Thanks. " Lily said, taking the sticky note and then sniffed the slip of paper deeply, before stuffing it in one of her shorts pockets.
" Alright, so what's our plan of action Blitz? " Lily asked as she turned to face the tall imp.
" Plan, same as usual, we go an kill the #$%&er. " Blitz said simply as he undid the safety on his sniper rifle and equipped a silencer.
" I know that, but how are we going to do it? "Lily asked as she looked at Blitz expectantly.
" Hmm, the client didn't give us any specific instructions, you got a any ideas? " Blitz asked curiously, wondering what the Hellcat had in mind.
" We could climb up that big tree on the outside of the fence near the garage, and go across the roof to the back of the house. "Lily said a she looked at the house.
" There's no flood lights above or around those patio sliding doors, and it'll be easy to open them, so getting in and out that way won't be a problem. "
" After we kill the guy, we can make it look like a robbery, and trash the place a bit before we leave. " " Lily said a she looked back at Blitz.
" Huh, sounds pretty good and simple, alright let's #$%&ing do this. " Blitz said with a smile as the team got ready to move out.
With nimble ease, Blitz and his team made their way up the big tree near the garage and quietly across the rooftop tot he back of the house
They each safely jumped down from the roof onto soft grass, and quickly made their way to the patio doors.
" Oh I got just the thing for this, give me one second. " Moxxie said as he pulled out a red roll up canvas room bag from his coat.
" Here we go, this should help. " Moxxie said as he retrieved a large flat head screwdriver from the room bag.
" Thanks, Millie please get the door while I wedge the door frame up, don't open it yet. " Lily said as Moxxie handed her the screwdriver.
" Sure thing. " Millie said cheerfully as she wrapped her hand the patio sliding door handle, while Lily wedged the screwdriver under the door frame
" Alright, get ready, on the count of 3 give the door a light pull. " Lily said as she wedged the screwdriver under the door frame.
" Got it. " Millie said with a nod as she got ready to open the door.
" 1, 2, 3. " Lily said as she lifted the sliding door up, while Millie simultaneously pulled on the door handle, causing the door to slide open.
" There we go, thanks for the assist Millie. " Lily said with a smile as she handed the screwdriver back to Moxxie.
" Of course, that's what teammates are for. " Millie said with a smile before the team heading inside the house.
As Blitz and the rest of the team house entered the house, they entered the kitchen with their weapons drawn, carefully looking as they did.
Though it was night outside, and little to no light inside of the house, save for from the moonlight shining though the patio doors.
Blitz, Moxxie, Millie and Lily could see perfectly fine in the dark with their night vision, though only Lily's eyes didn't glow in the dark.
" Alright so, what's the next step? " Blitz asked softly as he looked to Lily.
" We need to find a place to set up an ambush, then lure the target out, we need to make it look like he walked in during a robbery. "Lily said softly.
" How about the living, looks like a good place as any. " Blitz suggested softly as gesture towards it with his head.
" Hmm, let's check it out first. " Lily said as she and the rest of the team began to quietly walk into the living room.
As Lily entered the living room, taking very slow, careful, and silent steps as she walked, moving like a shadow.
Her ears and eye did as well, keenly listening as she looked around with a scrutinizing gaze, as she looked every inch of her surroundings over.
She looked over all the furniture of the living room, analyzing their placements and positions as she did, as she analyzed the room.
" Whatcha think? " Blitz asked softly as he walked up beside the hellcat.
" The living room does look like a good spot, I see three hiding spots in here to set up an ambush." Lily said as she finished surveying the living room.
" The sofa, the table on the right the archway leading into the living room, and the small table with the flower on the left vase across from it. " Lily said softly as she pointed to the spots.
" You and Moxxie can hide in front of the sofa, the sofa is the best position to shoot from, since it's back faces the archway leading into the living room. "
" Millie can hide under the table with the flower vase, and l can hide under the other table. " Lily said softly as she turned to her teammates.
" This way, we'll have all directions covered, so what do you all think? " Lily asked softly as she looked at the three imps for their opinions.
" Well $#&%, sounds like a #$%&ing plan if I've ever heard one . " Blitz said, impressed at how quick Lily came up with a plan.
" Hmm, the sofa does provide a good hiding place, provides decent cover, and is at the ideal distance for this. " Moxxie said as he examined the distance form the sofa and archway.
" Sounds good ta me " Millie said softly with a happy nod.
" Alrighty, so how's we get that #$%&er down here? " Blitz asked curiously.
" Oh, how about we knock over this lamp here? " Millie suggested as she pointed at a metal lamp on a small table next to the right side of the sofa.
" Hmm, that might work, it's big enough, and looks it would make a loud noise of it hit the wooden floor. " Lily said as she looked at the lamp.
" Okay lets #$%&ing do this, everyone to your positions. " Blitz said softly with a happy smile as they all got into position.
" Here sir, you'll need a modern gun if you plan to shoot. " Moxxie said , handing Blitz a jet black Glock 21 pistol with red flames on the barrel.
" Thanks, you ready Mox? " Blitz asked s he took the pistol, checking it before flipping it's safely off.
" Ready sir. " Moxxie replied with a nod, as he pulled out his personal Colt M1911A1 and undid the safety.
As they all went to their spots, Blitz took a look around, seeing everyone was hidden in their spots, and were all set for this.
Seeing everyone was ready, Blitz then raised his tail high, and smacked the lamb hard, knocking it right off the table.
*Thud! *
The lamb hit the wooden floor with the desired effect, making a loud bang and thud as it hit the floor, which was amplified by the acoustics of the quite house.
With that done, Blitz squatted down in front of the sofa beside Moxxie, waiting and listening for the target footsteps.
" Looks like our target is on the move. " Lily thought, hearing the sounds of footsteps from above.
She then flipped the safety off her Beretta Px4 Storm, and quickly checked to make sure her gun's silencer was properly equipped.
She then looked up to where she saw where Millie was hiding, seeing she was crouched and hidden under the small hallway table.
Lily saw Millie pull out a large hunting knife from a belt sheath, a moment later, the cheerful female imp noticed Lily looking at her.
Millie then smiled cheerfully at the Hellcat, as she waved from under the small hallway table, giving Lily a thumps up as well.
Lily smiled and gave a thumbs up to Millie as well, then her ears suddenly perked straight up, hearing noises from above them.
" Looks like our target is on the move. " Lily thought, hearing the sounds of footsteps from above.
A few seconds later, she could hear the sound of slow and soft footsteps coming down the stairway, and saw a bright light shining down the stairs.
" Looks like the target's has a flashlight, and from the sound of things, their halfway down the stairs now. " Lily thought as she carefully tracked the sound of the footsteps.
With every second, Lily heard the sound of the footsteps draw closer thanks to her super sharp hearing, and prepared herself to take action if necessary.
Finally, she heard the footsteps reach the bottom of the stairway, and then heard them turn and head towards the living room.
As she heard them approaching near her hiding spot, she saw from under the table, a pair of bare human feet walk past her hiding spot.
* Bang, Bang, Bang! *
* Thud! *
Suddenly, Lily heard the distinct sound of a gun with a silencer fire three times, quickly followed by the sound of a hard thud on the floor.
" Ha bullseye, nailed that #$%&er, alright gang come on out. " Blitz said happily as he stood in front of the corpse of their target.
Hearing Blitz give the okay, the rest of the team came out of their hiding spots, and went over to look at the body of their slain target.
The dead human perfectly matched the description of their target, and was wearing a pair of dark gray pajama short, and a light gray t-shirt.
The dead human had dropped a large flashlight in his left hand, and had been carrying a S&W pistol, which now lay on the floor.
" Nice aim Blitz, hit all three shots right in the chest. " Lily said as she looked at the body, seeing three gun shots holes where the heart and lungs were.
" Hah, the #$%&er didn't know what hit him. " Blitz said with a proud smile, placing his gun in one of his coat pockets.
" Alright, let's trash this place and cover our tracks. "Blitz said as he and the rest of the team went to work making it look like a robbery happened.
" Hey Millie, can you come over here and help me with this? " Lily asked as she pointed at the living room's 50 inch flat screen TV.
" Sure thing, you wanna take this back, seems like a hassle to carry all the back don't you think? " Millie asked as she walks over tot Lily and look at the TV.
" Just wanna take it down to make it look like it was being stolen, but I need some help taking it down. " Lily said as she clarified what she wanted to do.
" Oh gotcha, alright I'll take the left side you take the right side. " Millie said as she walked over the TV.
" Alright, let me unplug the cords first, when we pick it up let's set it down near the sofa. " Lily said as she finished unplugging the TV.
" Alrighty, you ready Lily? " Millie asked as she stretched her arms.
" Ready, alright lift on three, one, two, three. " Lily said, as she and Millie lift the big TV simultaneously.
The two of them easily lifted the big flat screen TV, and effortlessly carried it as they walked over to the living room sofa.
" This is close enough, put it down here. " Lily said as they neared the sofa, and gently placed it down with ease.
" Okay, let's #$%&ing get outta, here. " Blitz said as walked up to Lily and Millie, but stopped in his tracks as his spotted something.
" Oh wait, what do I spy over there? " Blitz said excitedly, as he rushed into the house's study room.
" What did you find Blitz? " Millie asked as Blitz walked out the room a moment later.
" This gorgeous little beauty. " Blitz said happily, as he presented a beautifully carved wooden horse sculpture twice the size of his hand.
It's body was made of light chestnut brown wood, while its mane and tail were made of a deep dark brown wood, and looked very realistic.
" Isn't she beautiful? " Blitz asked, smiling happily as he admired the sculpture in his hands.
" Huh, neat. " Lily said with a raised brow, not sure why Blitz was so fascinated by it
" What's with Blitz and horses? " Lily asked curiously as she whispered to Millie.
" We don't know exactly, he just really like horses, like a lot. " Millie whispered back with a shrug, unsure herself about why Blitz was like that.
" I see. " Lily said simply, as she looked at Blitz still admiring the wooden horse sculpture.
" Alrighty, now that the jobs all done, let's get the #$%& out of here and head home. " Blitz said as he stuffed the wooden horse sculpture into one of his coat pockets.
" Yeah, that sounds good, I'm ready to call it a day. " Lily said, getting nods of agreement from Millie and Moxxie as well.
With that, the team began left through the patio doors, leaving them open, as they made their way back to where the portal was.
" We're back Loonie! " Blitz said happily, as he greeted his adopted daughter, as he and the team entered the I.M.P reception room.
" It's about #$%&ing time, it's already past closing time. " Loona said with annoyance as she closed the grimoire and handed it to Blitz.
" You ready to go Lily? " Loona asked a she looked at the Hellcat.
" Yep, all set. " Lily replied with a smile, as her fluffy tail rose in a relaxed manner.
" Where are you two heading off too? " Blitz asked curiously.
" Out to a bar to hangout, and don't #$%&ing follow us Blitz. " Loona said as she glared annoyingly at the tall imp.
" Let's get going Lily. " Loona said as she headed out to leave the I.M.P office.
" Right, see you all tomorrow. " Lily said to the rest of her co-workers, before quickly following Loona out of the office as well.
As Loona and Lily entered the elevator, Lily's body burst into crimson flames, as she quickly shifted into her Amy disguise.
" Why did you change your looks? " Loona asked as she looked at Lily, curious of her sudden change in appearance.
" I'd rather no draw attention to us, I don't wanna ruin our first chance to hangout after so many years. " Lily explained as she leaned back against the back of the elevator.
" Don't worry about $#%& like that Lily, if anyone is #$%&ing dumb enough to mess you, I'll #$%&ing make them regret it. " "Loona said causally as she looked at her phone.
" Same here, though I'd rather not have to deal with any $#%& tonight, so I'll stay like this for now. " Lily said nonchalantly.
" Alright, so how was your first day here Lily? " Loona asked as she looked at her phone as they rode the elevator down.
" It was nice, I think I'm going to enjoy working here. " Lily said as she leaned back against the back wall of the elevator.
" I'm glad, I'm happy we'll get to as hangout whenever as well. " Loona said with a happy smile as she scrolled on her phone.
" Me too. " Lily said as she smiled back happily as they rode the elevator down.
" So, which vehicle is yours Loona? " Lily asked curiously as they entered the company's parking lot.
" Oh, I actually don't have one, I was planning on us taking the bus. " Loona said, feeling slightly embarrassment as she admitted that.
" Oh, well I have a motorcycle, it's a two seater so I can drive can us there, if you want. " Lily said softly as she looked away from Loona, blushing at the idea.
" Oh yeah, that sounds cool. " Loona said as her tail slightly wagged in excitement as she followed Lily.
" Here it is, what do you think? " Lily asked as she showed where she parked her motorcycle.
" Wow you have a Fire Blazer, that's #$%&ing awesome, nice paint job and detail. " Loona said as she looked over Lily's motorcycle.
" Thanks, here let me get your seat ready and get you a helmet. " Lily said as she went over and pulled out the retractable second seat, opened one of the two storage cases on her bike.
She pulled two jet black bike helmets with tinted visors, both made with ear holes for those like them, and handed one to Loona.
After Lily put her's on, she then reached into the fur of her neck, pulling out a motorcycle key with a dark purple cat keychain.
" So what's the name of this bar? " Lily asked curiously a she looked Loona.
" Buzzers, it's on the East side of downtown. " Loona said as she made sure her helmet was on right.
" Oh I've been there before, it's a pretty good place. " Lily said as she sat on on the driver's seat of her motorcycle.
" So, ready to go?" Lily asked as she looked at Loona with a nervous and happy smile, doing her best to sound normal.
" Give me a sec. " Loona said as she finished moving her hair out way, before putting on her helmet.
" All set, so I'll just, hop on, and hold on to you. " Loona said softly with a nervous edge, looking at Lily sitting on her motorcycle.
" Yep, just be careful with your hands as you do. " Lily said softly as she looked away, feeling a blush on her face.
After Lily turned and sat forward on the motorbike seat, Loona slowly walked over and went to sit on the motorbike.
She maneuvered her left leg over the bike's seat, and slowly sat down behind Lily, then wrapped her arms around Lily's waist slowly with a loose hold.
" Ahh, she's right up against me, her fur feels so soft. " Lily thought as her heart rate went up, feeling Loona gently lean against her back for support.
" You ready now? " Lily asked, masking her flustered and nervous state with a convincingly calm tone.
" Yep, I'm am all set. " Loona said as she finished adjusting herself in the bike's passenger seat.
" Alright, hold on. " Lily said she inserted her key, started the engine, and began to drive off.
After a half an hour drivet hey pulled into the parking lot of the club, fortunately finding a parking space quickly.
The bar Buzzers was a medium size building, with a wide rectangular shape, and dark brown and light beige as it's exterior color scheme
The front of the building had a sign of the bars name, placed above black tinted glass double doors, with each letter shaped like a lighting bots on a big red button.
In front of the doors stood two tall buff demon bouncers, both looked over six feet tall, and were dressed in black leather biker clothes.
One was holding a clipboard, checking each person before letting them in, while the other stood guard by the doors.
As Loona and Lily walked up to the club's entrance, Lily could hear punk rock music coming from inside the building.
As they came near the entrance, the bouncers looked up at them with a bored looks, and the one with the clipboard took a step towards them.
" Hold it. " The bouncer said nonchalantly in a deep voice, as he flipped through the pages on the clip board.
" Huha. " Loona groaned softly, folding her arms in annoyance at this.
" Hmm, must be a list of all those who are banned from this place. " Lily thought as she watched n the bouncer look through the papers.
" Alright, you ladies can go in. " He said as he finished looking through them.
At that, the other bouncer opened the door on his side for them, and politely gestured for them to enter the nightclub.
As Loona and Lily entered the club, they saw the was made of dark brown wooden tiles, and the walls were dark gray, and the ceiling was dark red.
The inside of the bar looked like a typical bar, except that each table had a bright red buzzer button in the middle of it.
" So Lily, I forgot to ask you this earlier, but have you got a place to stay? "Loona asked after they sat a empty table and grabbed a menu from a stand o the table.
" Yeah I do, I've got a place in the upper part of the west side of Imp City. " Lily said as Loona and her grabbed a menu from a stand on the table.
" Oh really, when did you move here? " Loona asked curiously as she glanced up from her menu.
" Hmm, about a few months ago, I moved here because business was drying up where I was before. " Lily said as she looked through the menu options.
" Alright I'm ready to order, what about you? " Loona asked as she closed and placed her menu pack on the table stand.
" Yep, I'm done as well. " Lily said as she put up her menu as well.
Loona then pressed the big red buzzer button on their table, causing it to light up and glow bright red, signaling that they were ready to order.
A moment later, a waitress walked up to their table, she was a taller than average light red imp, with thick curved back horns.
She wore a red, black, and white waitress outfit, and she carried a black note pad with the bars name on it in her right hand and red pen
" Hello ladies, I'm Lana, what would you like order to drink? " A female demon waiter asked cheerfully as she introduced herself.
" A large glass of Augustiner Helles lager, and the Apple wood smoked pork ribs medium rare , with a side of fires and cold slaw. " Loona said as she placed her order.
" I'll have a glass of Aberfeldy scotch, make it a double, and the fired chicken and fish tenders, with a side of fries and cold slaw as well. " Lily said as she placed her order.
" Alrighty, I'll be right back with your drinks. " The imp waitress said as she finished writing down their orders and walking off.
" Thanks for inviting me out Loona, it's really nice to hangout with you again. " Lily said with a smile as she leaned back into her seat.
" Yeah same here, so I'm curious Lily, what have you been up to after all these years? " Loona asked as she leaned back in her seat as well.
" Well I've mostly been traveling around while I worked as a freelance assassin, going from place to place throughout the rings. " Lily said as she recalled some of her travels.
" What about you Loona? " Lily asked as her ears perked up in curiosity.
" Besides working at I.M.P as the receptionist, nothing much really. " Loona said nonchalantly before taking a drink of her beer.
" Here are your drinks ladies, your meals will be ready shortly. " The imp waitress informed them as she placed their drinks in front of them on a coaster before leaving.
" Hey, so mind if I ask you about your family Lily, if that's okay with you. " Loona asked delicately, not wanting to upset her best friend.
" Sure it's alright, as long as not about him, then it's fine. " Lily said with a grimace, before she took a sip of her drink.
" Yeah, so you said you had two sisters, what are they like? " Loona asked curious about Lily's step siblings.
" Well Marzella is kind, energetic, and outgoing, she's seventeen years old, and she has a bit of a wild streak. "
" She liked to pull all kinds of funny pranks, though now she's mellowed out quit a bit. " Lily said with smile as she thought of her younger sister.
" Emiliana is two years older than me, she's kind, soft spoken, and quite laidback, though she can be quite frightening when she gets mad. "
" She'd always look out for me and Marzella, and defended and protected us if anyone tired to mess with us, she's a great sister. " Lily said with a smile as she thought of her older sister.
" They both sound great. " Loona said with a smile, happy for the hellcat.
" Yeah, I'd like you to meet them someday, I'm sure they'd like you. " Lily said with a happy smile, liking the idea very much.
" I'd like that. " Loona said as she smiled back.
" So are they apart of the whole family assassin biz, or do they do freelancing like you? " Loona asked, curious about Lily's step-siblings professions.
" Marzella is still part of the family business, but not as an assassin, she works as a bodyguard for some very high ranking noble family. "
" Last I heard from Emiliana, she'd left the family business a month ago and taken up freelancing. " Lily said as she recalled what she knew what her sisters were doing.
" Why'd she leave? " Loona asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
" She refused to do a mission assigned by the family, apparently the client was an Overlord from the pride ring. "
" They wanted the youngest child of a rival of theirs killed, during the kid's birthday party. " Lily said dryly, before taking a sip of her scotch.
"$#%& that's, that's #$%&ing messed up. " Loona said, a little shocked by this news.
" Yeah, but stuff like that is business as usual for most of them. " Lily said as she propped her head up with her left hand.
" Emiliana told me our great, great, great, great, great, grandfather, the head of the Zelramorta family, tried to convince her do it when he heard of her refusal. "
