As the elevator reached the seventh floor and opened it's door's, Lily exited it and headed towards the I.M.P office.
She had a black strap of a light sky blue insulated lunch box with a black cat sticker on it over her left shoulder, and carried a brown paper bag in her left hand.
As she entered the lobby, she saw Loona sitting at her desk, distracted by her computer, and not noticing she had arrived.
" Hey Loona. " Lily said cheerfully as she greeted the hellhound as she walked up to her desk.
" Oh hey Lily, your really early, Blitz and me are the only one here at this time. " Loona said a little surprised at the hellcat's early arrival.
" Well you know the old saying, better to be early then late. " Lily said, trying to sound sagely as she said it.
" Anyway, got you coffee, surprise. " Lily announced as she showed her the brown paper bag.
" Oh $#%&, thanks Lily. " Loona said happily as she looked at Lily, her tail slightly wagging happily as well
" Your welcome Loona, this ones yours, three pumps of vanilla, just how you like it. " Lily said after she handed Loona her coffee and placed her own on the desk.
" Thanks, pull up a chair and we can watch some videos. " Loona said happily as she moved her chair over some.
" Sounds good, when did we get an aquarium? " Lily asked curiously, noticing the new addition to the office lobby, filled with sand, coral, water, and a filtration system.
" Oh that, Blitz said he got that last night, he's out getting some fish for it right now. " Loona said nonchalantly as she searched for videos for them to watch.
" Sounds like another one of his crazy impulsive purchases, though I really don't care, so long as he gives us our paychecks. "
" Anyway, let me put up my lunch box in the fridge, and I'll be right back. " Lily said as she adjusted the strap of her lunch box.
" Sure, hopefully I'll find something when you get back. " Loona said nonchalantly as she continued to searched on her computer.
A minute later Lily was back from the breakroom, dragged a cushioned lobby chair over to Loona's desk and sat beside her.
* Bang! *
" Hey Loonie I'm back, oh hi Lily, man your early. " Blitz said as he suddenly opened the lobby door with his tail and kicked it open.
He was carrying a large white water proof box, with labels on it that said Caution: Live electric eels, on the sides and lid of the box in big bold red letters.
" Good morning Blitz. " Lily greeted him nonchalantly with a lazy wave.
" Electric eels, interesting choice, reminds me of the exotic creatures and pets that some members of the Zelramorta family kept. "
" If I remember correctly, some of them were from earth too. "Lily thought as she took a sip of her coffee, recalling the animals some of her relatives kept.
" Good morning to you too Lily, look what I got for our new aquarium, don't eat them. " Blitz said as he dumped four eels out of the container into the aquarium.
" Please, I'm not a hellkitten Blitz, like I'd try going after fish in an aquarium. " Lily said as she rolled n her eyes in annoyance.
" Alrighty, oh yeah, we've got a client coming in today at 4:00, names Ms. Mayberry. " Blitz said before he strolled into his office.
" Got it. " Loona said nonchalantly, as she typed it in her phone and set a reminder, before starting a video for Lily and her to watch together.
" Want some of my tempura shrimp Loona, I also got seaweed rolls with crab and rice if you want one. " Lily said as she sat down at Loona's desk with her lunch box.
She had taken out a black metal boxed lunch, filled with a dozen large tempura shrimp, and four seaweed rolls, and placed a can of green tea next to the lunchbox.
" Sure, want a some of my cheesesteak sub? " Loona asked as she opened a plastic bag, and pulled out a white plastic box inside it.
She placed the plastic box next to a stout beer on her desk, and opened it up and took out half of the cheesesteak sub inside.
" Yeah thanks. " Lily said as they each exchanged some of their food with each other.
It was the afternoon, and not much had happened, so they sat at Loona's desk, and continued watching videos during their lunch break.
" I'll take that while I'm headed to the breakroom Loona. " Lily said as she got, taking Loona's trash after they were both done eating.
" Thanks Lily. " Loona said as she searched on Htube for more videos for them to watch.
* Ring! *
Suddenly the bell on the I.M.P office door jiggled, as a female demon opened it and entered the I.M.P office lobby.
As she entered the office lobby, she spotted the reception desk and walked towards it, Lily then walked back into the lobby, and spotted the new arrival.
Quickly glancing at the wall clock, she quickly realized this was the potential client Blitz had mentioned to them earlier.
" Hello there ma'am, you must be Ms. Mayberry right? " Lily asked politely as she greeted the female demon with a smile.
" Yes I am, I'm here for an appointment with your boss. " Ms Mayberry said as she smiled as she shook hands with Lily.
" Alright, he's in his office right now, I'll take you to him. " Lily said as she smiled at Ms. Mayberry as she gestured towards Blitz's office door.
" Great, thank you, ah. " Ms. Mayberry said with an awkward smile, realizing she didn't ask for the hellcat's name.
" I'm Lily, and your welcome ma'am. " Lily said with a smile as she lead Ms. Mayberry to Blitz's office.
" Hey Blitz, Ms. Mayberry is here to see you. " Lily said after she knocked on the door twice before she opened it and walked into Blitz's office.
As she did, she was greeted by the sight of Blitz playing with two toy horse figurines as he sat at his desk, as she stood in his doorway
Blitz immediately froze as Emma opened his office door, staring at her like a deer in headlights, as Emma looked at him with sheer utter disappointment.
Blitz then swiftly opened a desk drawer, and hurriedly tossed the toy horses in, and then sat at his desk in a relaxed manner as he smiled at her.
" Great, send her on in Lily. " Blitz said excitedly as gestured for Lily to do so.
" Huha, yes sir. " Lily said as she silently sighed, as she forced a facade of calmness to hid her annoyance while in front of a client.
As she lead Ms. Mayberry into Blitz's office, she left and closed the door behind her, and let out a long sigh as she did, before heading back to Loona's desk.
" Alrighty, so what's your story lady, and who you wanna us to kill? " Blitz asked his newest client nonchalantly as he leaned back in his chair.
" Huha, well I used to be Mrs. Mayberry back when I was alive, then one day, everything went to $#%&. " Ms. Mayberry said flatly as she began telling her story after she lit a cigarette.
" I'd like to state for the record before we proceed, that I don't like this, and that this is a bad idea. " Lily said flatly with a annoyed frown.
Lily was standing in front of the reception room's coach, holding up a picture of a human family of five, as Moxxie aimed at it with a crossbow.
" Don't worry Lily, Moxxie's a great shot, he's got this. " Millie said confidently as she assured her hellcat friend with a dismissive wave.
" Huha, so you say. " Lily said skeptically, looking at Moxxie's shaking hands as he held the loaded crossbow.
" Come on Moxxie, stop shaking, you'll end up shooting Lily. " Millie said as she stood beside Moxxie as he took aim behind the reception desk.
" He better #$%&ing not. " Loona said sternly from a nearby lobby chair beside the desk, looking up from her IPhone and glaring at the imp.
" Don't worry Loona, I've got fast reflexes, I won't get hit. " Lily said nonchalantly, though was happy to hear Loona was concerned about her.
" Then what's the problem sweety? " Millie asked as she titled her head curiously.
" My problem, is the target we're using. " Lily stated flatly gesturing at the picture of the human family with her left paw hand.
" Exactly, it's a family, under what circumstances would we ever need to kill a whole human family? " Moxxie asked as he lowered the crossbow.
" I mean, if that's what the client wants. " Millie said nonchalantly as she shrugged her shoulders at her husband.
" Maybe like a $#%&y dad, or a mob family, that's understandable. " Moxxie said, as he imitated an Italian accent.
" But to eradicate an entire, seemingly innocent, upper middle class family bloodline? " Moxxie asked in bewilderment as he gestured at the picture in Lily's hand.
" Yeah, I'm not okay with doing something like that either. " Lily as she looked at the photo with guilt and concern.
" Hmm. " Loona hummed as she looked at the photo with a guilty look as well, sharing and understanding Lily's feelings on this matter.
Though she quickly pushed her feelings on it aside, and instead focused on the the fact the photo was making Lily sad, something she didn't like at all.
" Hey, we don't know if they're innocent. " Loona said as she stood up and walked over beside Lily.
" This kid probably sets dogs and cats on fire, maybe this girl bullies Australian kids online, and this guy, this guy definitely watches. " Loona said glaring as she pointed at the picture.
She specifically left the mother in the photo alone for the sake of Lily, knowing how close and how much her mother meant to Lily.
" Exactly, humans are full of nasty secrets, it's why so many of them end up here. " Millie said causally nodded in agreement.
" Who's guilty and innocent aren't our business Mox, Lily, killing who we're paid to kill is our business. " Millie stated as she looked at the two.
" But Millie, isn't our company an assassination company that does revenge hit jobs, specifically for those who want revenge on the living? " Lily asked the female imp curiously.
" Well, yes we are, what's your point sweety? " Millie asked Lily curiously as she titled her head in confusion at the hellcat.
" What I'm saying is, killing the right targets who've wronged our clients, is killing the guilty, since most of our targets have done pretty bad stuff and end up here. "
" If we kill an innocent person, it'd mean we killed the wrong target, and we wouldn't get paid, so who's guilty and innocent does actually matter. " Lily said nonchalantly as she explained her point to Millie.
" Huh, you have a point there, never thought of it that way. " Millie mused aloud as she cupped her chin as she thought over what Lily said.
" But we still need to be prepared for it, in case we ever need ta, so shoot the target honey. " Millie said as she kissed Moxxie on the cheek.
" Alright, I just think it's a bit excessive, we could be a bit more selective, is all I'm saying." Moxxie said simply as he looked a his wife.
" I still don't know why we're doing this in the office, and not at a shooting range. " Lily said as she lifted the picture back up.
" Cause they charge you for using their equipment they make ya use, how long you use it, and for every target you shoot. " Millie said simply.
" We could at least use a dartboard, but whatever, when your ready Mox. " Lily said nonchalantly as she held up the picture, and he aimed at it again.
" Alright. " Moxxie said, and he trained his scope on the picture to take a shot.
" Hmm? " Lily thought as her ears perked up, suddenly hearing footsteps inside Blitz's office heading to the door.
" Wait Moxxie, don't shoo- "
* Bang! *
" Hey guys, I'd like you meet-
Before Lily could warn them, just as Moxxie was about to shoot, Blitz threw open his office door, as he walked out with their newest client.
As he did, the door slammed into the wall with a loud bang, startling Moxxie, and causing him to accidentally fire the crossbow.
The result, was the cross bolt went sailing up into the air, and then wildly bounced around the whole room haphazardly.
" $#%&, Loona! " Was all Lily thought, as her mind went into overdrive, as she and she immediately took action, and bolting towards Loona
With lighting fast reflexes, Lily ran over to Loona, and using all her strength, she dragged Loona down to the floor and tried to shield her with her own body.
" Our newest client. " Blitz finished calmly, after skillfully catching the cross bolt before it hit Ms. Mayberry in the head.
Fortunately no one was hurt, unfortunately the lobby's new aquarium was hit, causing it to fall over, and spill gallons of water and the eels onto the floor.
A moment later, the flopping electric eels discharged electricity through the water on the floor, causing several spots throughout the lobby to catch fire.
" #$% Moxxie, I just bought those eels! " Blitz said angrily, completely disregarding the fact that the room they were in was on fire.
As the team stood on the sidewalk near the entrance office building, they watched as the firefighters brought out the dead eels after the fire was put out.
Thankfully the damage had been isolated in the lobby room, and the fire damage that was done, was fortunately miniscule.
" Bye, and don't worry, we'll get that skank in less than 24 hours, or your first kill is free! " Blitz said happily, waving as Ms. Mayberry got in a cab drove off with a smile.
" Since when did we start implementing that? " Moxxie asked as he looked at Blitz perplexed.
" When you set fire to my office, in front of a client, you #$%&ing dip$#%&! " Blitzo yelled as he grabbed Moxxie's face before tossing him aside.
" Now someone please tell me that fancy book is still intact! " Blitz yelled angrily as he glared at his team .
"You mean our only ticket to the other side, yeah, we got it." Loona said nonchalantly, as Lily reached into her fur and pulled the grimoire out and handed it to Loona.
"And that's why you two are my favorite, my sweet Loonie and Lily!" Blitz cooed sweetly as he looked at his adopted daughter and Lily.
" You two get a treat now. " Blitz said in a baby like voice, taking out a bone shaped dog treat, and a fish shaped cat treat.
" Are you actually #$%&ing serious right now? " Lily asked flatly as she looked at Blitz with an annoyed frown.
"Eww, stop. " Loona said as she recoiled slightly away from him at the sight of the pet treats.
" Hm. " Blitz hummed as he shrugged his shoulders, before tossing the pet treats in the air, and grabbed them with his tongue like a lizard and ate them.
" Ugh. " Lily said as she gagged at seeing Blitz eat the pet treats, and looked away from him as he chewed with his mouth open.
" You're so gross!" Loona growled in annoyance, as she turned away from him in disgust after opening the grimoire and opened a portal to Earth.
" Ahh, stop it, I get enough of that from my therapist. " Blitz said like he was being complicated.
" Augh, please hurry back Lily, it's gonna be so #$%&ing boring here without you. " Loona said with a frown as she looked at the hellcat.
" Hopefully we'll be done with this job in no time, then when I get back, how about we go out to club? " Lily suggested with a smile.
" Sure, sounds cool, see you when you get back. " Loona said as she smiled at Lily, before headed back to the company's office.
" Alrighty, now let's go lick some #$$! " Blitz said energetically as he shoved Moxxie out of his way to the portal.
" Wait, what? " Lily asked as she turned and looked at Blitz in confusion.
" The expression is, kick some #$$ Blitz. " Millie said with a smug smile as she corrected him,.before walking through the portal.
" Mine's better. " Blitz said with a pouting frown as walked through the portal next.
" Huha, let's just get this over with. " Lily said tierdly as she shook her head and walked through the portal after Blitz.
" Ahh #$%&. " Moxxie muttered under his breath, as he walked through the portal as well.
As the team steppe out on the the other side of the portal, they saw they stood in front of a wooden fence, surrounding a nice lake side loghouse.
" This looks like quit a swell place to live. " Millie commented as she looked at the house and scenery around them.
" Yeah, it sure is. " Lily said in amazement as she looked around the scenery and took in the sights.
" Alright, that's enough chitchat, let's get #$%&ing moving. " Blitz said as he gestured for his team to follow him.
After stealthily making their way to the side of the house, they peeked out of some bushes under a window, where a light was shining for inside the house.
" That's gotta be her, oh this is too easy. " Blitz said with giddy laughter, as he peered above the windowsill and looked inside.
" Moxxie, you want this one? " Blitz asked with a smile as he looked at his employee.
" Me? " Moxxie asked excitedly as he looked at Blitz.
" Yeah, this one seems simple enough for you. " Blitz said with a grinning mile.
" Hm, Blitz seems too happy about this, wait I hear more than one person inside the house. " Lily thought, as her ears perked up as she heard noises from within the building.
" Just a happy mother who just got outta the hospital. * Blitz said with a smile as Moxxie and Lily looked over the windowsill.
" Oh $#%&. " Lily thought in shock, as Moxxie and her looked inside.
As they did, they saw their target, and what looked like her family sitting down and getting ready to eat dinner together at a kitchen dining table.
" Well you snooze you loose Moxxie, and I got you #$%&. " Blitz said happily, as he pulled out his black flame painted sniper rifle and attached a silencer.
" Wait, are we actually killing a family!? " Moxxie asked Blitz in horrified shock
" W-What, #$%& Blitz! " Lily said angrily in a hushed voice as she looked at the tall imp with a furious glare.
" No, no, no, #$%&ing calm down you two, we're just killing a mother, we're ruining a family. " Blitz casually clarified to them, before taking aim.
" Wait, Blitz what did this woman do to our client to deserve this. " Like asked, needing to known before they did proceeded.
" Oh right, she banged our client's husband, our client caught them in the act, she killed her cheating husband, and tried to kill our target too. "
" She then blasted her own head off afterwards, and later found she failed to kill that skank. " Blitz said nonchalantly as he pointed to the blonde haired woman.
" So, one of those people huh, reminds me of that bastard. " Lily thought with an angry frown, as she recalled memories of her biological father.
" I see, well I'm not okay with killing the target in front of her family, but not every situation is gonna be ideal. " Lily said simply with a shrug of her shoulders.
" N-Now hold on, hold on, let's just think about this. " Moxxie said frantically to his teammates.
" What's there to think about Moxxie, the woman slept with our client's spouse, and she wants the woman dead for it. "
" I get your thinking about the rest of her family, but the woman brought this on herself. " Lily said simply with a cold tone as she looked at Moxxie, feeling nothing for their target.
" Exactly, now quit #$%&ing Moxxie. " Blitz said casually, as he took aim with his sniper rifle and lined up a shot.
* Bang! *
Though just as Blitz was about to pull the trigger, Moxxie frantically pushed the barrel aside, causing Blitz to miss the target, and shoot a nearby wall instead.
" $#%&! " Lily said, as the team quickly ducked under the windowsill.
" What the #$%& was that Moxxie?! " Blitz asked the imp angrily.
" I'm sorry, they just seemed like such a wholesome and happy family, I panicked! " Moxxie said though whimpers and tears.
"Oh who the #$%& is innocent Moxxie!? " Blitz asked angrily as he glared at Moxxie.

" $#%&! " Lily thought, as her ears perked up at hearings the faint sound of a gun's hammer being cocked from inside the house.
" Now get the #$%& over yourself, you- "
Before Blitz could continue verbally tearing into Moxxie, Lily grabbed Blitz and Moxxie by their shirt collars, and pulled them down flat on the ground.
* Bang! *
Just as she did, a large hole was blasted through the wall, right where the two imps heads were a moment ago.
" $#%&, scatter! " Blitz yelled, before all of them quickly jumped out of the bushes and headed in different directions.
" $#%&, $#%&, $#%&, I can't #$%&ing believe Moxxie actually did that $#%&! " Lily thought in frustration as she ran far into the woods and nimbly climbed up a tree.
" It doesn't look like any of the humans followed me, that's good. " Lily said as she silently climbed down from the tree.
" Now I gotta find the others, and finish this disaster of a assassination up. " Lily thought as she turned to head back to their target's house to teammates down with their scents.
As she did rushed back to the house, she then suddenly hid in a bush 20 yards away from the house, spotting two humans at the house.
She saw they were the target's two young kids, she'd had ignored them, if not for the fact they were carrying Moxxie, who was tied up with robe and had a burlap sack over his head.
" Oh you've got to be #$%&ing kidding me, first he screws up the mission, and now he gets captured by human children, #$%&ing ridiculous! " Lily thought in shocked disbelief, watching Moxxie get taken into the humans house.
" Huha, as pissed as I am at him right now, I can't let him die, Millie is my friend, and I don't want her going through something like that. "
" Besides, as annoying and uptight as he is sometimes, real teammates don't leave each other for dead. " Lily thought as she headed towards the house to rescue the imp.
" Hmm, it sounds like their up in the attic. " Lily thought, as she heard voices up in the ceiling.
" There's got to be a way up there, ah, found it. " Lily thought, as she found a door with a staircase leading up to where she heard the voices.
As she reached the top of the stairs, she saw a door leading into the attic was open, and stealthily peeked inside the room.
She saw the decor, and most of the furniture in the room, was made from human bodies, though she paid that little attention.
Her focus was on Moxxie, who was tied up to a chair in front of a wooden table, with both of the target's two children standing in front of him.
The two children were facing the Imp, with grinning smile filled with malicious intent, and each had a sinister looking knife in one hand.
* Clink, clink, clink! *
" Huh? " The two human children said, as they turned around, hearing something hitting the ground and rolling towards them.
As they did, they looked at floor and saw a bright pink marble on the floor near them, glowing with an eerie neon pink light.
Cracks then suddenly spread across the marble, as it glowing became brighter, and had arches of pink electricity sputtering from it.
Before anyone could react, an explosion of bright neon pink light filled the room, then a moment later the flash faded away.
" Looks like you've gotten yourself in quit a predicament Moxxie. " Lily said casually as she calmly walked into the room.
Moxxie didn't respond, or rather he couldn't, due to the fact that he was unable to move a muscle after the neon pink flash.
His body was glowing with translucent neon pink light, the two human children were also in the same situation as him.
" Wow Moxxie, you should see the look on your face right now, you look even worse than your employee of the month photo. " Lily said with a chuckle as she looked at the Imp.
Currently Moxxie was frozen mid scream, with bugged out eyes, and a look of complete utter shock and terror as he leaned back in his chair.
The two human kids were also had looks of shocked surprise, as they were frozen mid way closing their eyes and covering their faces with a hand.
Lily then took out her IPhone and took a picture of Moxxie's face, then she pocketed her phone and untied him.
She then untied the ropes binding him, and tied up the the two human children to a nearby support beam with them.
" The effect should be wearing off any second now. " Lily thought after checking that the ropes knots were securely tied.
A few seconds later, the bright neon pink glow on Moxxie and the human kids faded away, enabling them to move again.
" Ahh! " Moxxie screamed in terror, as he feel back on the floor with his chair with a hard thud.
" Ow. " Moxxie said with a slight groan as he sat up and rubbed the back of his head.
" Hey, your that talking cat from earlier! " The human boy wearing a racoon hat said angrily, as he and his sister struggled against their bindings.
Lily responded with an annoyed roll of her eyes, and reached into her fur and pulled a roll of duck tap out, proceeding to put a piece of tap over their mouths.
" Augh, thanks for saving me Lily. " Moxxie said as he sat up and got back on his hooves.
" Your welcome, though this whole situation is entirely your fault you know. " Lily said bluntly with an annoyed tone as she placed her hands on her hips as she glared at him.
" I know, I messed up big time. " Moxxie said softly with a defeated tone.
" Yeah, you sure #$%&ing did, it's things like that that can get you, those you care for, and your teammates hurt or even killed. " Lily said sternly as she looked him in the eye.
" I know, I'm sorry it won't happen again. " Moxxie said with determination as he looked back at Lily.
" Good, here take this, found this laying outside." Lily said as she reach in her fur and pulled out Blitz's sniper rifle.
" By the way, what was that glowing pink marble you used? " Moxxie asked curiously as he took the sniper rifle and check if it was fully loaded.
" It was a stun crystal, a one use item that temporarily paralysis any living thing caught in the flash, and disintegrates afterwards. " Lily said simply as she explained how it worked.
" Huh, neat. " Moxxie simply replied, having little knowledge about such magical items.
" Now, let's find the others and get this job over with already. " Lily said with a tired sigh.
Then suddenly, they saw a bright orange light appear from out in the forest from the attic window, like something was on fire.
" Moxxie, Lily! " They heard Millie's voice coming from the direction of the fire.
" Millie! " Moxxie exclaimed in shock as he heard his wife yell for help.
" $#%&, they got caught too, we need to hurry Moxxie! " Lily said as she opened the big round attic window and they jumped down and ran towards the forest.
As Moxxie and Lily made it to the place where they saw the light of the fire, they hid in some bushes as they got closer.
As they did they a clearing in the woods with torches on wooden poles, and in the center of the clearing was Millie and Blitz.
They were tied to a wooden pole, standing in front of them, was their target holding a torch and a shotgun, and nearby was her husband.
" Alright, here's want we'll do, first I'll sneak closer and disarm the target, you stay here and shot her as soon as I do. " Lily said as she turned to Moxxie.
" Alright. * Moxxie said with determination.
" Alright, here we go. " Lily said as she silently snuck closer through the bushes.
As Lily snuck as close as she could get while staying in the bushes, getting only a few yards away from the edge of the clearing.
She then saw the blonde haired woman toss a torch at Millie and Blitz feet, causing fire to engulf the two of them, though it didn't do anything.
" Yeah, that's not exactly how it works lady, your fire doesn't really hurt us, but I could fake it if that'll get your #$%& hard. " Blitz said smuggly with a smile.
" Oh, $#%&, well I'll jus shoot you in your smart#$$ mouth! " The blonde haired woman said with a malicious smile as she raised her shotgun at them.
* Swish! *
" Ahh! " The blonde haired woman yelled in agony, as her arm with the hand on the gun's trigger was chopped off at the elbow by a flying black tomahawk.
* Bang! *
Then the blonde haired woman's brains were blown out through her right eye socket, and then fell to the ground like a sack of bricks.
Seeing his wife dead, the target's husband fled for his life into the forest, running in the direction heading back towards the house.
A moment later, Lily walked out into the clearing, and Moxxie stepped out of the bushes holding Blitz's sniper rifle.
" Moxxie, Lily! " Millie exclaimed happily as she saw her husband and teammate.
" Hey, glad you're both okay. " Lily said with a smile as she used a claw to cut them free.
As soon as she did, Millie and Moxxie rushed towards each other, hugging each other in a loving embrace and affectionately rubbed noses.
" Your not getting your #$%&ing paycheck for this one Moxxie. " Blitz said irritably as he rubbed his wrists once he was free of his restraints.
