" Hmm. " Came a soft light groan from under the covers of large luxurious bed in a dark room,
Then the bed's occupant slowly rose their arms up slightly, and clappped their hands twice, causing the lamp on a beside nightstand to turn on.
The room was a large luxurious bedroom, filled with luxurious and fancy furniture and decor, all of which were of high quality.
With the light on, the bed's occupant sat up up, revealing to be Zella Zelramorta, she then slowly got out of the bed.
After she stood up, she began doing a series of stretches for two minutes, afterwards, she walked over to the bedroom's bathroom.
The bathroom was a luxurious spa bathroom, and after she took a quick shower in the walk-in shower and dried off she headed to her walk-in closet.
As she opened her closet's ash gray wooden double doors, revealing the spacious inter inside, was filled with rows of clothes.
She picked out a black business blazer jacket, with the the Zelramorta family crest on the left chest side, a white business shirt, and black business blazer pants.
And she chose a black leather choker, with a blood red oval shaped ruby to wear, she then stood in front of the closet's full body mirror while she got dressed.
" It's just about five thirty, looks like I'm running a bit ahead of schedule. " Zella said as she checked the time on her black colored IPhone.
" Hm, wow it's hard to believe it's been a year and a half since I started working for the Goesha family as Octavia's personal bodyguard. " Zella thought, noticing the date on her IPhone.
" Alrighty, time to face the day, maybe Stolas and Stella won't argue today, or at least not too much. " Zella thought optimistically, as she pocketed her phone and left her room.
As she left the room, she walked out into a long corridor, somewhere in the Goesha palace, and began heading down one end of the corridor.
After a bit of walking, she arrived at the servants kitchen, a large modern day kitchen, and since she was the only one that got up at this hour, it was empty.
She then fixed four fluffy pancakes, with sliced strawberries and bananas on it, and had blueberries scattered across it.
It was also topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce, and fixed two strips of bacon, and a boiled egg.
She had a large glass of orange juice with it, and after she was done eating and put up her dishes, she left the kitchen and head elsewhere.
After a short walk, she stopped as she came upon a jet black door with an ornate golden handle, then turned her back to it and stood in front of it.
" Hmm, it's seven fifty five right now, Octavia usually gets up at nine thirty or ten o'clock, looks like I'll be standing here for quite a while. "
" Oh well, I'll just play games on my non-work phone till then . " Zella thought nonchalantly, as she reached into her fur, pulling out copper colored iPhone.
" Are you #$%&ing kidding me?! "
" Hm? " Zella said, as she looked up from her phone, hearing Stella shouting angrily from the kitchen at the top of her lungs.
* Crash! *
" I can't believe you slept with an Imp, in our #$%&ing bed! " Zella heard Stella screamed furiously from the palace's family kitchen.
" Oh $#&%, this sounds real bad, really, really bad. " Zella thought with concern, as she heard Stella continued to and break things from the kitchen.
" It was unexpected, I didn't have time to go to a motel. " Zella heard Stolas respond in his defence.
" A motel, like a #$%&ing plebeian! " Zella heard Stella yelled angrily in disgust.
" Huha, woulda been better than here, seriously what was he thinking, sleeping with an imp in the palace of all places. " Zella thought as she continued playing games on her non-work phone.
" Hm, sound like Octavia's awake. " Zella thought, her ears perked up at hearing movement and footsteps from behind the door.
She quickly stuffed her non-work phone back into her fur, and turned to face the door behind her, a moment later, Octavia slowly opened the door.
She wore some of her casual clothes, consisting of a pink glittery dress with long sleeves with pale yellow stars across it.
She also wore a dark feathery shawl around her shoulders, a black beanie with pale tiara design, and wore a pair of black boots, and a pink choker.
She had a pair of black wireless Bluetooth headphones in her ears, and Zella could hear music coming from them.
" Morning Octavia. " Zella said as she greeted the drowsy owl demon princess.
" Morning Zella. " Octavia said sleepy, as she reached out and sleepy hugged Zella affectionately, pressing the hellcat's head against her chest.
" I know you just woke up and all, but I've told you for the past five months we've been dating, check nobody is around first. "
" We need to be extremely careful when we do something like this, especially when we're out in the open. " Zella said as she leaned into the hug.
" I doubt there's anyone here who can sneak up on us, what with your hearing Zella." Octavia said with faint amusement in her voice, as she lightly scratched Zella's right ear.
"Hmm that's true, not many can. " Zella said softly, as she lightly purred as she leaned her head into the scratching, before pulling her head away and breaking the hug.
" But we need to be as careful as possible, if your parents found out, you'd probably get in major trouble, and I doubt I'd live long afterwards. " Zella said as she looked up at Octavia with concern with ears flattened down in fear.
" Hey, if they find out, I'll handle it and protect you Zella. " Octavia said firmly with sincerity as she looked at Zella in the eye.
" Well hopefully they won't, anyway we better get going, or your dad will come to check up on you. " Zella said, knowing Octavia would like to avoid that.
" Huha yeah, lets go then. " Octavia said with a heavy sigh, as they headed to the family kitchen together.
" Aahhh! "
* Crash, crash! *
As they headed to the family kitchen, they heard Stella yell furiously at the top of her lungs, followed by the sound of something being thrown and shattering.
" So, as you can hear, your folks are arguing, again, and I don't know how to tell you this delicately, but your mom caught your dad having an affair with an imp. " Zella cautiously informed Octavia as she walked beside her.
" Yeah, I heard. " Octavia said flatly, showing no care or reaction to the news at all.
" Okay. " Zella said slowly as she looked at Octavia with concern, confused at her lack of a reaction, but decided to ask.
" And when aren't they arguing about something, they argue like once a day or more. " Octavia grumbled in annoyance.
" Yeah that's true, so how about I fix you breakfast, do pancakes sound good today? " Zella asked curiously as she looked at Octavia.
" Sure, yours are always good, though you don't have to you know.. " Octavia said as she glanced at Zella.
" I know, but I like doing it for you, and it's really no trouble for me. " Zella said with a smile.
" Alright. " Octavia said as she faintly smiled back as they neared the kitchen entrance.
As they did, Zella swiftly stepped in front of Octavia, and effortlessly deflected a flower vase flying heading towards her, sending it crashing into the floor instead.
" Aahhh! "
" Huha, here we go into the war zone. " Zella mumbled softly with a tired sigh.
" Yep. " Octavia said flatly as they walked into the kitchen.
" You want to #$%& this one too?! " Stella yelled as she picked up a poor male imp servant that happened to be close by, before throwing him at her husband.
" No, of course not! " Stolas replied, after ducking to avoid the flying imp projectile.
As this was going on, Octavia went to fix herself a cup of coffee, then went to sit at the cushioned seat near at the window.
While Zella went to the fridge, got all the necessary ingredients to make pancakes, and headed to the stove to start cooking.
Both of them had been exposed and seen enough of this over the years, that they were pretty desensitized to all of it, and paid it little attention.
" You, you are a #$%&ing embarrassment, I'm not spending another moment here, looking at your pathetic imp sucking face! " Stella yelled angrily before leaving the kitchen, while still yelling and breaking things.
" Huha. " Stolas signed heavily as his posture slumped after Stella left.
" Good morning Octavia, did you sleep well my owlette? " Stolas asked his daughter sweetly.
" Is that a serious question? " Octavia asked dryly after taking a sip of her coffee.
" Here's your breakfast Octavia. " Zella said as she sat a plate with, four fluffy pancakes in front of the princess, with a silver fork and knife as well.
The pancakes had sliced strawberries and bananas on it, with blueberries scattered across it, and topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce.
" Thanks Zella. " Octavia said, before she picked up the utensils and began cut up her food.
Zella then set down a black ceramic mug of coffee for herself nearby Octavia's, before she turned to look at Stolas.
" Would you like me to fix you breakfast as well, sir? " Zella asked him curiously.
" Oh no thank you Zella, though its nice not you to offer. " Stolas said kindly as he turned and went to the fridge.
" It's no prob, I like cooking, and it gives me something to do in the morning anyway. " Zella said as she sat down in chair at the window table where Octavia sat.
Over the two years Zella had been working for the Goesha family, she had gone from being treated as merely a bodyguard by Stolas.
To someone he trusted and regarded as a friend, and also saw her as a close friend of his daughter, because of this, Zella could be herself around him.
Though when ever Stella, or anyone else was around, she would speak formally and act completely professional.
" So, what's that your listening to? " Stolas asked curiously as he opened the fridge, hearing the music from Octavia's headphone.
" This song is called is called, " My world is burning down around me ", by #$%& you dad, it's a band. " Octavia said flatly as she ate some of her breakfast.
" What a weird band name. " Zella thought as she took a sip of her coffee.
" Oh, how charming. " Stolas said with an unsettled tone, as he retrieved a large slap of raw meat, before walking over and feeding it to a large potted carnivorous hellplant near a window.
" So, you two done screaming for the day? " Octavia asked flatly, before eating a bite of her pancakes.
" Umm. " Stolas said hesitantly, as he thought how to respond as he petted the large meat eating plant.
" Aahhh! " Came the sound of Stella screaming and yelling furiously, followed by the sound of more things being thrown and shattering in the distance.
" Doesn't seem like she is from the sound of things. " Zella thought as she took a sip of her coffee.
" Oh, you know what I haven't done in a long, long time, I haven't taken you to your favourite place in all of hell, why don't we we go to Loo Loo land? " Stolas suggested happily as he walked up beside his daughter.
" Loo Loo land, that ripoff of an amusement park in the greed ring? " Zella thought, recalling what she knew of the place.
" Why not take her to Lu Lu world, it's bigger, got much more to offer, and is all around much better. " Zella thought after she took a sip of her coffee.
" I'm not five anymore. " Octavia stated flatly, before eating another piece of her pancakes.
" You always were so happy when I took you to Loo Loo land, what do I you say we go there again, have a day, just the you, me and Zella. " Stolas said happily.
" I'd rather do, like anything else. " Octavia said bluntly with a flat tone.
" There we go, anything but staying in this house. " Stolas said happily as he patted his daughter on the shoulder.
" Well, getting away from Stella for a while does sound nice, especially when she's in full rage mode like this. " Zella thought, still hearing Stella screaming in anger and breaking stuff off in the distance.
" Now I'll arrange for our security, phone please. " Stolas said, as he walked over to an imp servant who quickly brought a rotary telephone.
" Security for a theme park? " Octavia asked in confusion.
" You'd be surprised how many abductions, murders, and assassinations happen in such places, one of my relatives sniped a target while they were on a ferries wheel."
" And well I'm completely confident I can protect you Octavia, your dad will be with us, and no matter how skilled I am, I'm only one hellcat. " Zella said casually as she looked at Octavia.
" Oh. " Octavia said softly, as the meaning of Zella's words sunk in for her.
" Exactly, now I'm going to call the only man who can #$%& me. " Stolas proclaimed with a happy tone as he picked up the phone.
" What? " Octavia said in disgust as she put her fork and knife down, while Zella just facepalmed hard at hearing that.
" He's going to call that imp he slept with. " Zella whispered to Octavia, after she let out an annoyed groan as she realized this.
" Auuugghhh. " Octavia groaned loudly in annoyance while she rolled her eyes and covered her face with her beanie at hearing this.
" What?! " Zella heard someone yell angrily on the other end of the phone with her sharp hearing.
" Sounds like this Blitz is not happy. " Zella thought as she took a long sip of her coffee.
" Ah, why hello my big #$%& Blitzy. " Stolas said in a deep husky voice.
" Pfft! "
Hearing this, Octavia immediately spat out a mouthful of hot coffee in shock and disgust, though she accidentally did so, right in Zella's face
" What the #$%&! " Octavia and Zella shouted simultaneously, though for Zella it was more about the mouthful of hot coffee being spat right in her face.
" Language, everyone. " Stolas said in a gentle scolding manner as he looked back at Octavia and Zella.
" Ugh, I'm sorry to say Zella, but I've lost my appetite. " Octavia said as she pushed her plate of half eaten breakfast away from her.
" Yeah, understandable after hearing that. " Zella said as she took a sip of her coffee.
" So I have a special request. " Zella heard Stolas say softly in a husky voice into the phone with her sharp hearing, before he walked further away from them.
" Oh I am so sorry Zella, here let me help you. " Octavia said as she got some napkins from a napkin dispenser on the table.
" Pfft, thanks Octavia, luckily none of it got on my clothes, and please watch the ears. " Zella said, as she let Octavia wipe her face and ears off.
" I'll be careful, and again, really sorry. " Octavia said apologetically as she finished wiping Zella's face.
" It's okay, really, I just need wash my fur off now and I'll be fine. " Zella told Octavia as she got up and headed to the servants bathroom.
" No, no, no, no, I'm taking my daughter to Loo Loo land, and I was hoping you brake little Imps would accompany us. " Zella heard Stolas say into the phone as he walked back to them.
" Did he say imps, as in more will be coming with us, #$%&, my job just got a whole lot #$%&ing more difficult today. " Zella thought in annoyance as she left the kitchen.
" So, after work we're done with work, where do you wanna go out tonight Loona? " Lily asked as she sat in a chair beside Loona at her desk.
" Hmm, I'm thinking of a nightclub, how about a place I know called Maelstrom, it's a pretty cool place that plays heavy metal. " Loona suggested as she showed Lily the place on her phone.
" Oh cool, I like heavy metal music. " Lily said excitedly as she looked at the picture of the club's webpage.
" Guys get ready, we're going to Loo Loo land! " Blitz suddenly shouted excitedly from his office using his megaphone at full volume.
" Augh, my #$%&ing ears, wish he'd stop using that thing. " Lily groaned in pain as she pressed her hands against her ears.
" I #$%&ing know right, gives me a #$%&ing headache, and I throw them away but every time I do, he keeps#$%&ing buying new ones! " Loona groaned in frustration as she rubbed her sore ears.
" Wait a sec, did he say we're going to Loo Loo land? " Lily asked Loona in contusion.
" Yeah, think he did. " Loona said as she rubbed her ears.
" Loo Loo land? " Moxxie asked as he walked over from his office and opened the door to Blitz's office.
" Loo Loo land?! " Millie yelled excitedly, as she ran from her office and smashed through Blitz's office door window.
" Loo Loo land! " Blitz yelled excitedly through his megaphone at full volume.
" Augh, #$%&! " Lily groaned in pain as she leaned forward and pressed her hands against her ears.
" Augh, shut the #$%& up! " Loona yelled angrily at the top of her lungs.
" Alrighty everyone, get your $#%& together and gear up, we've got a job! " Blitz as he walked out of his office.
" Huh, no client has come in today, and why are we going to Loo Loo land Blitz? " Lily asked as she got up while rubbing her right ear.
" We're doing a special request today, we're going to be bodyguards for Stolas and his daughter, and so we're getting #$%&ing paid big time for it. " Blitz informed her happily.
" Bodyguards, for the prince you slept with? " Lily asked with a stunned tone of surprise.
" Yeah, yeah that guy, I'm getting us some suits on the way over so we look the part, what's your measurements? " Blitz asked curiously.
" I'm not #$%&ing telling you that, and I've already got my own tailored suit. " Lily told him bluntly as she folded her arms.
" Alrighty, anyway go get what you need before we roll out. " Blitz said nonchalantly with a shrug, before he walked off towards the armoury.
" Huha, so hey Loona, you wanna come with us this time, it could be fun. " Lily said as she turned tot the hellhound.
" Hm, yeah sure I'll come along for you, plus its better than being stuck here by myself. " Loona said nonchalantly as she sat at her desk.
" Cool, I'll go tell Blitz, want me to get you a gun just in case? " Lily asked curiously.
" Sure, I'll wait here till you are all ready. " Loona said nonchalantly as she pulled out her phone and began scrolling on it.
" Alrighty, be right back. " Lily said, before heading to the company's armoury.
" How much longer are we going to wait here dad, you said five minutes ago they'd be here when we were ready. " Octavia asked in annoyance as she checked the time on her phone.
She was sitting on the steps of their front door, while Zella was standing nearby her, while Stolas was standing at the foot of the stairs.
" Don't worry princess, their just running a little late, they'll be here very soon. " Stolas assured her with a nervous chuckle, as he checked the time on his gold wristwatch.
He was currently wearing a white t-shirt with the Loo Loo land logo, and a pair of red knee length shorts, and wore a Loo Loo land apple mascot hat.
" Hmm. " Octavia said with a sigh, as she put in her Bluetooth headphones and started listing to music.
" I'm curious sir, who are these imps you hired for this trip, do they work for some type of bodyguard company? " Zella asked as she walked up beside Stolas.
" Oh no, Blitz and his friends run a little business as assassins called I.M.P, he's very skilled and I trust him very much, so you don't have to worry. " Stolas said reassuringly as he patted Zella on the shoulder.
" Hmm, we'll see about that. " Zella said softly under her breath as she went to stand by Octavia.
" Oh look you two, their here! " Stolas called out to them, pointing to a black van coming up to the palace's front gate.
" Hmm. " Octavia groaned as she stood and put up her headphones.
As the black van came to a stop near their front door, the doors opened a moment later, and out steeped a tall imp wearing a black suit and sunglasses.
" Sorry for the wait, #$%&ing traffic was a #$%& and slowed us down. " Blitz said as he got out of the driver's side and shut the door behind him.
" So this is Blitz, well at least he looks professional enough, though I'll have to see if he and his crew can do their jobs right. " Zella said as she looked Blitz over.
A moment later, the van's side door slid open as Millie and Moxxie got out, wearing black suits and sunglasses too.
Then Lily and Loona got out next, Lily wore a jet black business suit with a white dress shirt, and wore a a black leather choker with a round dark amber jewel.
While Loona wore her casual clothes, not even bothering to change at all for this, but did have a small black leather carry bag purse hanging from her left shoulder.
" Lily! " Zella suddenly exclaimed happily as soon as she spotted Lily getting out of the van.
" Zella! " Lily exclaimed happily as well as she spotted Zella, who was walking up to her with Octavia beside her.
As the two hellcats meet, they happily hugged each other in a sisterly embrace for a few moments, before breaking it and looked at each other.
" I'm so happy to see you Zella, it's been so long! " Lily said happily as she hugged her little sister again.
" I know Lily, it's so good to see you again too! " Zella said happily as she returned the hug.
" Oh so your Zella's older sister Lily, she's told us so much of you, it's nice to meet you dear. " Stolas said as he walked up and greeted her.
" I uhh, I'm terribly sorry for not greeting you first your highness, I meant no disrespect, it's pleasure to meet you as well. " Lily said nervously as she quickly bowed her head.
" Its alright dear, as I've told your sister, you don't need to be so formal and tense with me and my daughter when it's just us here. " Stolas said as reassured her with a light chuckle.
" I-I'm glad to hear that. " Lily said with a heavy sigh of relief as she felt the tension leave her body, glad she didn't offend the head of a royal family.
" Oh hey Lily, let me introduce you to Octavia, she's the one I'm assigned to as a bodyguard, and she's my best friend. " Zella said happily as she gestured Octavia.
" Hey, just all me Octavia, I don't like fancy titles and stuff. " Octavia said with smile as she greeted Lily.
" Got it, it's nice meet you too Octavia, and I'd like you both to meet my best friend Loona. " Lily said happily with a smile as she introduced the hellhound to them.
" Hey. " Loona nonchalantly as she greeted them both.
" Oh so your Loona, nice to meet ya, Lily told me and my family about you, it's nice to finally meet you. " Zella said with happy smile as she greeted Loona.
" Yeah, nice to meet you too. " Loona said with a happy smile.
" So your Zella's older sister? " Octavia asked curiously as she looked between Zella and Lily, spotting the key differences between them.
" Well we're cousins by blood, I was adopted by Zella's mom, but we see and call each other sisters. " Lily said as she explained their family relation.
" Yeah that's right! " Zella agreed happily.
" Okay enough yapping, we need to get going before the #$%&ing rush hour comes. " Blitz said as he looked at the time on his phone.
" Can we all even fit in that van, seems like it'd be pretty cramped? " Zella asked as she looked at the van.
" Yeah, thankfully this van has a third row of seats in the back, each row has three seats, and don't worry the van is fitted with bulletproof armour and glass. " Lily said as she opened the side door.
" Hmm, good to know. " Zella said, glad the ride wouldn't be cramp for them.
" Alrighty everyone, pick a seat and pile in! " Blitz said as he headed to the driver side door.
Once everyone was seated in the van, Blitz sat in the driver's seat, Moxxie was in the passenger seat.
Stolas, Octavia, and Zella sat in the middle row, and Lily, Loona, and Millie sat in the back row, and were quickly on their way on the road.
" So, I didn't know you worked at an assassination company now Lily when did this happen? " Zella asked Lily curiously as she turned to look back at her older sister.
" Well it's something that happened recently for me, and hey, I didn't know you were working for the Goesha family as a bodyguard. " Lily said with a surprised tone as she looked at Zella.
" Yeah sorry, I couldn't tell you the specifics because of the Zelramorta family's protocols for jobs of such high level of importance. " Zella said in her defence with an apologetic tone.
" Its alright, I understand, so don't worry about it. " Lily said nonchalantly as she reassured Zella.
" So Lily, I was wondering, how'd you end up joining I.M.P anyway? " Zella asked her curiously.
" Oh right, it's a bit of long story, it all started with me moving to Imp City, due to a lack of work after the last cleansing. "
" And one day, I get a call job to exterminate a gang causing problems, and after I finish the job, I'm waiting at a crossings walk, where I met Blitz. " Lily said, as she began telling how she ended up at I.M.P.
