" Octavia! " Zella shouted as she ran out the circus tent's entrance after Octavia.
As she did, she spotted Octavia running off in the distance among the crowd of demons walking around outside.
Using her feline agility and speed, Zella quickly ran after Octavia, while nimbly avoid the crowds as she chased after her.
As Zella was nearly caught up to Octavia, she then turned and ran down a pathway and entered a demonic fun house, with Zella in hot pursuit.
When Zella walked through a tunnel into a circular room, she found Octavia sitting on a apple shaped cart, holding her legs to her chest a she sobbed loudly.
Without a word, Zella walked up and sat beside Octavia, then gently wrapped the owl demon princess in a soft comforting hug.
Immediately upon doing so, Octavia hugged her back, tightly holding Zella close to her while she continued to softly sob.
As they sat there, Zella rested her head in the crook of Octavia's neck, as she held the owl demon princess in a tender hug and let her cry it out.
They remained hugging each other, as the seconds rolled by, Octavia's sobs slowly turned to soft sniffles, while Zella just sat there hugging her comfortingly.
" I-I wish they wouldn't fight Zella, I wish they didn't hate each other. " Octavia said through soft sobs and sniffles
" I know Via, I know, me too. " Zella said softly as she gently patted Octavia's back comfortingly, knowing she was talking about her parents.
Over the time Zella and Octavia had been dating, Octavia told her about all her problems, fears, and worries, the hellcat being the only one that would listen.
That was one of the things Octavia liked the most about Zella, always willing and happy to listen her about her problems, and cared about how she felt.
" I'm afraid Zella, I'm afraid I'm going to be all alone. " Octavia said through sad sniffles, as fresh tears ran down her cheeks.
" He, no your not, you have me remember, and I'm not going anywhere. " Zella said reassuringly as she looked Octavia in the eyes.
" I don't know how you can always put with me, and all my family's problems Zella. " Octavia said softly through a few sobs as she looked at Zella with teary eyes.
" Listen Octavia, I'm going to tell you something very, very important. " Zella said in a serious tone as she looked at Octavia in the eyes.
" What is it? " Octavia asked as she quickly wiped the tears from her eyes, noticing how serious Zella was being right now.
" The reason why I thought was obvious, it's because no matter what, I care about you, I always enjoy spending time with you. "
" And I want you to know something else very important as well. " Zella said with a serious but nervous tone.
" W-What? " Octavia asked hesitantly as she looked at Zella.
" I love you Octavia. " Zella stated firmly with a soft loving tone as she looked Octavia in the eyes.
" R-Really? " Octavia asked hesitantly with a shaky tone, hearing Zella say that for the first time.
" Yes Octavia, I really do mean it. " Zella said softly with a happy smile, as she gently cupped Octavia's left cheek with her paw hand.
" I love you too Zella. " Octavia said softly with a happy smile and tears in her eyes.
Octavia then pulled Zella towards her in a tight hug, and slowly brought their faces closer, and the two gently kissed each other with soft tenderness.
After they broke the kiss a moment later, they remained sitting in the apple shaped cart, while still hugging each other.
" I know this is stupid to ask you, but are you feeling better now? " Zella asked cautiously with hesitation and concern as she looked up at Octavia.
" A little bit, yeah. " Octavia said softly through teary sniffles.
" Good, and I know that you may not want to right now, but we really need to find your dad, he's likely worried sick about you. " Zella said softly with a gentle tone.
" That won't be necessary Zella. " Stolas said softly, as he walked into the room from the tunnel Zella had previously.
Immediately upon hearing his voice, Zella's fur stood up straight as a needle, and felt the blood in her veins turn ice cold.
" Oh no. " Octavia thought fearfully, as she looked down at Zella, who clearly looked terrified.
" D-Dad, h-how much of that did you hear? " Octavia asked nervously, as she held Zella close to her protectively.
" I heard, and saw it all dear, I followed Zella and got here a few seconds after she did. " Stolas said softly as he walked up to them.
Upon hearing this, Zella's heart rate skyrocketed, while adrenaline and pure fear coursed through her mind and body.
" Though I truly didn't mean to spy on you two, but it was a lovely thing to hear, and I'm glad you two are happy together. " Stolas said as he happily smiled at them.
" Huha? " Zella and Octavia said together in surprised shock.
" Wha, y-your not mad? " Zella asked as she looked at Stolas shocked disbelieve.
" Mad, no, though I'm quite surprised, but why would I be mad? " Stolas asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
" I'm a hellcat, I'm not a member of royalty, and I'm an employee dating my boss's daughter. " Zella said nervously.
" And I thought you'd be mad or freak out and fire, or kill her if you found out I was dating her, because of how overprotective you are. " Octavia said flatly as she stared at him.
" What, please, of course not. " Stolas said with a shocked tone, dismissing the very notion of the thought with a wave.
" You make my daughter happy, and clearly care about her, and that's all that matters to me. " Stolas said sincerely with a smile as he looked between them.
" Huha. " Zella said, heavily sighing at hearing this, as all the anxiety, fear, and tension suddenly leave her body, as she leaned back heavily in the cart's seat.
" Now Zella, I'd like to know Zella, have you informed anyone in your family about your relationship with my daughter. " Stolas asked curiously as he looked at the hellcat.
* No I haven't sir, no one in my family knows anything yet. " Zella said as she assured him of this.
" Well then, only tell those of your family you trust, I'd like to keep this quit for now, considering how things are back home, okay? " Stolas asked with a nervous smile as he looked between them.
" Of course sir, I understand. " Zella said as she nodded, knowing he was referring to his wife Stella.
" Yeah, I know how mom is, and I'm not ready to deal with her about this, but what if she does finds out? " Octavia asked as she looked at her father with concern and fear.
" She can't fire Zella, her employment contract as your personal bodyguard is with me alone, there's nothing your mom can do to her. " Stolas explained to Octavia.
" So you both don't worry about that, and if she does find out, I'll handle it, you two have my full support on your relationship " Stolas said reassuringly as he between Octavia and Zella.
" Huha. " Octavia said as she heavily sighed in relief at hearing this news.
" Now then, I'd like to talk to Octavia, can I sit beside her? " Stolas asked politely as he looked at Zella. "
" Oh of course sir, I'll wait over there. " Zella said, as she got up and out of the apple shaped cart.
She walked and stood a bit of a distance from them, giving them some privacy to talk, while she stood guard to make sure no one disturbed them as they did.
Once Stolas sat down next to Octavia, she pulled and held her knees to her chest, and looked away from him, as she noticeably became sad again.
" So, how long have you and Zella been dating? " Stolas asked curiously with a gentle and nervous tone as he looked at Octavia.
" About a little over five months now. " Octavia said softly with a sad tone, as she continued to look away from him.
" Huh, I see, that long. " Stolas said, surprised hearing Octavia and Zella had been dating for months.
" I see, so I take it your not having fun here? " Stolas asked gently as he looked at her sadly.
" I didn't even want to come here. " Octavia said through sad sniffles, as fresh tears appeared in the corners of her eyes.
" I'm sorry sweety, I thought you loved it here, you were always so happy when I took you here. " Stolas said softly with a sad tone.
" Yeah, when I was a kid and my parents didn't hate each other, and my dad didn't flirt with some weird red #$%&head all the time. " Octavia said as she wiped away some tears as she looked at her father.
" I'm sorry Via, I'm sorry for everything happening right now, I know it's a lot for you, I-I should have listened to you. " Stolas struggled say as he spoke with a sorrowful tone.
" Zella's seems like the only one who I can talk to, she listens to me, and actually cares about what I say and how I feel. " Octavia said softly with a hint of anger through sad sniffles.
" I'm sorry dear . " Stolas said softly as he looked at Octavia with sorrow, his heart aching at seeing his daughter like this.
" I just want to go home, but home doesn't even feel like home, you ruined it. " Octavia said softly with tears in her eyes as she looked at her father.
" You need to understand, your mother and I, I just, I felt, she's always been, I haven't been, we weren't in, I'm sorry I don't have the words. " Stolas said as he held his head in his hands as words seemed to fail him.
" Oh, now I see, they were never in love, or not anymore from what I can discern, that's just awful, poor. " Zella thought sadly as she heard them talking.
" Are you going to run off with him, and leave me behind, go away where I can't find you? " Octavia asked softly through a sniffle as some tears fell down her cheeks.
" What, no, no, no never, I'd never do that, never. " Stolas said firmly with a soft tone, as he hugged Octavia comfortingly, who then hugged him back.
Hearing this from her father, Octavia smiled as she leaned into the hug, feeling happy as her worries and fears were put to rest.
" Well, how's about we get going then, shall we? " Stolas asked as he picked up Octavia and held her princesses style as he smiled at her
" Definitely. " Octavia said as she smiled back at him, feeling muh better now.
" Come along Zella, it's time we left this place, your both too old for it anyway. "Stolas said as he walked up to her.
" Of course sir. " Zella said with a happy smile, glad to see Octavia was happier, and hear they were all finally leaving.
As they close to leaving the fun house, Zella heard what sounded like someone behind them, followed by the sound of a switch blade knife being flicked open.
" Huha. " Zella mentally signed at hearing this, while she reached for her gun.
However before she could fully do so, Stolas turned his head completely around, and used his petrifieing gaze on a one-eyed imp behind them.
Once they were turned to stone, the three of them continued on their way outside, where they saw green fire spreading throughout the park.
" What happened out here, why's everything on fire? " Zella thought in shock surprise, as she looked around the burning theme park.
" Ahh, sir we need to immediately leave, before the fire spreads anymore. " Zella said to Stolas as she surveyed their surroundings.
" Right, tell Blitzy and the others we'll be waiting at the van. " Stolas said casually as he headed in the direction of the park's entrance while carrying Octavia.
" Right, on it sir, I'll call Lily and tell her to inform the others. " Zela said as she pulled out her phone and looked through her contact list.
" Hey, you smell something burning Lily? " Loona asked as they walked around the park, stopping as she sniffed the air.
" Yeah, I smell it too, it's coming from over there, I see smoke. " Lily said as she pointed in the direction she saw smoke rising from.
" Ahhh, oof! " Blitz groaned as he ran and fell face first a few yards in front of Lily and Loona, looking pretty beat up.
" Blitz, are you okay!? " Zella asked with concern as Loona and her quickly walked to him.
" Oh, hey Lily, Loonie, yeah I'm fine, just a bit roughed up is all. " Blitz said causally as he got up with a few groans.
" What the #$%& happen to you? " Loona asked curiously, seeing the roughed up state Blitz was in.
" Oh well, I had a ran into an old acquaintance that I have some unfinished business with. " Blitz said as he got up and brushed himself off.
* Ring, ring, ring! *
" Hm, oh it's Zella. " Lily thought as she looked at her phone and checked the caller ID.
" Hey Zella, there's a fire in the theme park, where you, Stolas, and Octavia, are you all okay? " Lily asked with a hint of concern in her voice
" We're all okay sis, tell Blitz Stolas and Octavia are ready to leave, and we're heading to the van right now. " Zella informed Zella.
" Alright, I will, be safe. " Lily said, relieved that Zella and the others were okay.
" You as well sis, see you when you get there. " Zella said before she ended the call.
" Hey Blitz, Zella said that Stolas and Octavia ready to leave and their heading to the van. " Lily informed him as she pocketed her phone.
* Crash! *
Suddenly, a robo Fizzarolli busted through a stall, heavily damaged and wearing burnt remains of a jester outfit.
" What the #$%&, is that a robo Fizzarolli, what happened to it? " Lily thought as she looked at the state of the damaged jester demon robot.
" Ha-Haha-a, f-found y-ou-u, B-Bliz-zo-o-o ! " A robo Fizzarolli said laughed happily a distorted and glitched out voice.
" Ahh, there he #$%&ing is. " Blitz said with an angry scowl as he looked at the robo jester as he readied his gun.
" Wait, Blitz were fighting that thing, and why's the park on fire? " Lily asked with concern as she looked between Blitz, the robo Fizzarolli, and the spreading fire.
" Hey, he #$%&ing started it! " Blitz yelled angrily with a scowl as he looked at Lily, as he pointed accusingly at the robo Fizzarolli.
" Haha-a-ha-haha-a! " Robo Fizzarolli cackled maniacally in distorted and glitched out laughter, as he then charged at them with incredible speed.
Though Lily reacted faster, reaching into the fur of her left wrist, she pulled out her Deagle pistol, and fired at the robot jester with lighting fast speed.
* Bang, bang, bang! *
Lily rapidly fired three shots, her steel full metal jacket bullets hitting the robo jester in the chest with deadly accuracy, and leaving golf ball sized holes in him.
" G-Guah! " Robo Fizzarolli groaned, as he was knocked on his back by the impact force of the bullets.
" Ha, take that you slutty toy clown! " Blitz said happily with a mocking tone, smiling happily as he looked at the downed robo jester.
Then with one fluid motion, the robot jester pushed himself up with his arms, and sprang right back up onto his feet.
" Oh $#%&, I spoke to soon. " Blitz said simply, all his previous bravado immediately gone at seeing this.
" You #$%&ing think! " Loona said angrily as she glared her him for a moment
" Ha-Haha-a! " Robo Fizzarolli laughed maniacally at them, while thick black oil like substance oozed out of the gunshot holes in his chest on the ground.
" What the #$%&, he's still #$%&ing moving, how?! " Lily thought, shocked seeing the robo jester get right back up after being shot multiple times.
Robo Fizzarolli then smiled at them, with a ear to ear malicious smile, as he prepared to charge at them once more..
" If bullet don't work, then I'll just tear him to #$%&ing pieces! " Lily thought, as she unleashed her claws.
As she did this, her black claws extended to 12 inches long, and then began glowing dark red, and morphed into claw shaped blades .
" Haha-a-ha-haha-a! " Robo Fizzarolli cackled maniacally, as he charged at them while speed rolling at them.
" Raaauur! " Roared a demon dragon, as it suddenly came out of nowhere from around a corner behind Robo Fizzarolli and grabbed him in it's jaws.
" Waaaaaauugggh! " Robo Fizzarolli yelled, as he was then thrown high into the air, and eaten whole by the demon dragon.
" You all okay? " Moxxie called out to them with concern, as he rod on the back of the demon dragon like it was a horse.
" Yeah, for the most part Moxxie, nice assist there by the way! " Lily said with smile as at the imp after she retracted her claws.
" Your welcome. " Moxxie said as he dismounted off the saddle of the dragon and climbed down the robe ladder on it's side.
" Hey, the fire is getting close, can we #$%&ing go already? " Loona said as she looked around, seeing the fire starting to spread around where they were.
" Yeah, come on gang, let's get the #$%& outta this $#%&y place before we become charred toast! " Blitz said with a smile, ad all of them quickly headed to leave the theme park.
As they made their to the theme park's entrance, they saw Zella, Stolas, and Octavia a bit ahead of them walking towards the park's entrance.
" What a day that a day that was. " Zella said as she and Stolasand walked out the theme park's entrance while Stolas carried Octavia princess style.
" Yes indeed, so Octavia, what do you want to do now? " Stolas asked curiously as he looked at his daughter with a smile.
" Oh, could we go to Stylish Occult, they have pretty neat stuff and sell weird taxidermy there. " Octavia said as she looked up at her father.
" Hmm, okay. " Stolas said with an unsure tone, having never been to such a place before.
" Thanks dad, your okay sometimes. " Octavia said as she lightly laughed at her dad's responds.
" Thank you Via, thank you. " Stolas said happily as he smiled at his daughter.
" I'm glad everything worked out okay. " Zella thought with a smile as she saw this touching moment between father and daughter.
" Hey you guys, glad to see you all are okay. " Lily said happily as she called to them as they walked out into the parking lot.
" Hey, glad to see you all are okay as well. " Zella said happily as she saw Lily an the others walking towards them.
" Oh my, what happened to you Blitzy? " Stolas asked with a hint of concern, seeing the roughed up and bruised state him was in.
" Don't worry about me, I'm #$%&ing fine, let's get going already. " Blitz said dismissively as he waved away Stolas's concern.
Then a moment later, the whole theme park burst into flames, as buildings and rides began collapsed and fall apart as the park burned down.
" Ha, look at that $#%&y dump burn! " Blitz said as he watched the burning theme park with a happy smile.
" Way to ruin another good thing sir. " Moxxie said flatly with a dry tone as he looked at Blitz.
" Hey, that slutty toy clown had it coming, so it was totally worth it! " Blitz said with a happy smile as he folded his arms, pleased with himself.
" So Blitzy, me and my daughter would like to head to a place called Stylish Occult next. " Stolas said as he after he placed Octavia on the ground.
" Hmm? " Loona said as her ears perked up at hearing this.
" Look, it's been a #$%&ing long day and-"
" I'll pay you double. " Stolas said as he smiled at Blitz before be could finish complaining.
" And hey, the nearest store is at a strip mall not far from here and I'd like to goo too, please? " Loona asked as she looked up the closet Stylish Occult location on her phone.
" #$%&ing alright already, let's get going already, here Mox, you drive this time. " Blitz said as he gave in and tossed his keys to Moxxie.
" Sure sir. " Moxxie said simply with an annoyed sigh to as he caught the van's keys, and went to opened the doors for everyone to get in.
Once everyone was seated, sitting in the same places when they arrived, by with Blitz sitting in the front passenger seat.
Then the van's engine was turned on, and they drove out of the parking lot, and on to the highway, leaving behind the burning remains of the theme park.
As the company van of I.M.P drove into a parking lot at a strip mall, the van was parked in a parking spot, and they all got out and headed towards their destination.
Stolas and Octavia went to look around the taxidermy display area, while Blitz and Loona went off to a clothing section next to it.
Millie and Moxxie were near Stolas and Octavia on guard duty, keeping an eye out for any danger, as they pretended to shop.
Lily and Zella were together walking around as they browsing through the taxidermy display area, taking this opportunity to have some quality sister time.
" Octavia's was right, this place sure does always have some neat and weird but cool looking stuff. " Lily said as Zella and her looked around.
" Yeah, so Lily, did you have at Loo Loo land with Loona? " Zella asked innocently as she walked up beside Lily.
" Hm, yeah I had fun with her, despite the limited stuff they had, did you have fun? " Lily asked as she looked at her little sister.
" Hmm, it was alright, though pretty lackluster overall. " Zella said with a shrug of her shouldersas she told her opinion of the theme park.
" Yeah me too, hey look at this thing. " Lily said as she gestured to a taxidermied wild hellboar in front of them.
The wild hellboar was nearly twice the size of an average one, and had been clearly altered, it's hide covered in jet black reptile like dragon scales.
The wild hellboar was posed in a threatening stance, snd stood on a short fancy carved table, made of polished dark brown wood.
" Neat. " Zella said as she looked at the customized taxidermied creature.
" Yeah you those are dragon scales, but look the price tag, yeesh. " Lily said a she looked the hellboar over.
" Yeah, hey so Lily, I'm curious about something. " Zella said casually as she looked at her her older sister examine the taxidermied creature.
" Hm, yeah what's up? " Lily asked as she looked at Zella curiously.
" Do you have feeling for Loona? " Zella asked casually like she was asking about the weather.
" H-Huh, what are you talking about Zella? " Lily said softly as she did her best to sound clam and control her body language.
" Oh well you know, I recall when you told me, Emma, and our parents about her, you always seemed to speak of her so fondly. "
" And I hear from your boss, that you and Loona are really close, and hang out almost all the time during and after work as well. " Zella said with a playful tone as she smiled at Lily.
" I-I, w-well yes, we do hang out a lot. " Lily said as she tried to hid her nervousness.
" Look, you don't have go worry about anything with me, you can tell me if you do Lily, we're sisters after all. " Zella said genuinely she smiled at her sister.
" Huha, yeah I do, I really, really like her, I've had a crush on her since before I was taken from the orphanage. " Lily said softly while blushed as she admitted her feelings out loud for the first time
" Hmm, so if you like so much, why haven't you asked her out yet? " Zella asked Lily curiously, wondering why Lily hadn't done so already.
" Well, I don't know if she would feel the same way, or if she swings that way, and she may get suspicious if I asked her about that. "
" I don't want to risk ruining our friendship, and I'm scared she'll rejected me, and not anything to do with me anymore afterwards. " Lily said softly as she looked down at her feet.
" Hmm, I can definitely relate with that, you know I'm dating Octavia, and I felt the same way when I realized I started having feelings for her. "
" Though ironically, Octavia was the one who asked me out first, while I was still working up up the nerve to do so. Zella said casually with a soft tone as she glanced towards Octavia.
" W-Wait what, your dating her?! " Lily said in a hushed tone, as a she looked at her little sister with extremely dilated eyes, dumbstruck by this news.
" Yeah, we've been dating for over few months now, oh and don't worry, her father is completely fine with it, he even told us he comfortingly supports our relationship. "
" Whoa, well I'm happy you found someone Zella. " Lily said with a smile, glad for her little sister was happy.
" Thanks, but her father wants us to keep it a secret, for now at least, but I can tell those I trust, so don't tell anyone else please. " Zella said softly as she smiled at Lily.
" Of course, but what about Emma, are you going to tell her too? " Lily asked as she looked at Zella curiously.
" Of course, I'll tell her when the three of us meet up for lunch, the place this time is a restaurant called Ravir, Emma says it's a pretty good place. "
" It's in the upper part of Imp City, and since I have a scheduled day off in two days, we'll met up then, be there at 2:30. " Zella said as she informed Lily of this.
" Alright, it'll be nice to see Emma, I've seen her in a while. " Lily said with a smile, looking forward to seeing her elder step-sister.
" But anyway Lily, if you let your fear continue to control you, and never tell Loona your feelings for her, you'll eventually lose your chance to do so. " Zella said as she looked at Lily.
" I know Zella, that's the other thing I'm afraid of as well. " Lily said softly as she glanced over to where she saw Loona and Blitz at in the clothing section near them.
" Well Lily, if you never try to find out, you'll never know, right. " Zella asked softly as she looked Lily in the eyes.
" Huha, your right Zella, thanks. " Lily said a she looked Zella with a smile, grateful for Zella's advise and encouragement.
" Of course sis, and I wish you the best of luck, now let's look around some more,I'm sure we can find something here to buy. " Zella said with a smile, as Lily and her went looking around the store
