" Lily, #$%&, why didn't she tell me? " Loona said softly as she stood there and looked to where Lily ran, feeling a deep sense of regret and pain in her heart.

" I don't know, maybe she wanted to, but felt that she couldn't for some reason. " Vortex said as he looked worriedly to where Lily ran off as well.

" What happened over here, I heard Lily screaming and saw her running away! " Emma roared furiously as she ran up to Loona and Vortex.

" E-Emma. " Loona said in surprise as she saw the furious human disguised hellcat approaching them.

" What happened Loona, what did you do to Lily?! " Emma furiously demanded a she glared at her.

" Me and Blitz started arguing, and then, $#%&, what have I done? " Loona asked herself as she deeply regretted her actions.

" I need to go find her. " Loona said as she looked to where Lily ran off.

" I'll come help you, two sets of eyes and noses are better then one. " Vortex said as he volunteered to help Loona.

" Thanks. " Loona said with a small smile, thankful for the help.

Loona then turned to Blitz and was about to ask him to help, only hesitate as she remembered the heated argument they just had.

" Ahh, Blitz, look I'm-

" You go find Lily Lonnie, I'm going to go kill something. " Blitz said as he cut her off and walked away, clearly still hurt from exchange of words they had.

" Ugh. " Loona groaned with regret as she watched him stormed off.

" You two should hurry and go find her, I'd come help, but I still need to find the last few targets here. " Emma said regretfully since she couldn't come along.

" It's alright, we'll find her. " Vortex said confidentiality as he reassured Emma.

" You'd better, and good luck you two, she can be very hard to track, even for me. " Emma said softly, as she looked worriedly where Lily ran off.

" Right, let's get going before the scent trail goes cold. " Vortex said as he looked to Loona.

" Right. " Loona said softly, as she followed Vortex as they began heading in the direction Lily ran off in.

" Hey, Emma, over here. " Millie called out to from behind some large metal beer kegs on a table.

" Hmm, oh hey Millie, Moxxie. " Emma said as she spotted the imps and walked over to the table where they were hiding.

" Why are you two here? " Emma asked as she stood close beside the table to subtly talk to them.

" We're looking for the last of the last of the targets, and heard Lily and Loona screaming at each other and came to check it out. "

" By the time we got here, we saw Lily running off, what happened? " Moxxie asked curiously as he looked up at Emma with concern.

" Well, Loona and Lily just had a nasty fight, and Lily ran off somewhere, but Loona and Vortex have gone looking for her. " Emma said sadly as she informed the two imps of the situation.

" Oh no, I'm so sorry ta hear that, I really hope Loona and Lily make up. " Millie said sadly as she worried for her friends.

" I hope so too Millie, I hope so. " Emma said softly as she folded her arms as she looked towards where Lily ran off.

"Woo, yeah party, let's do this! " A tall slim young near Lily yelled excitedly, after downing a whole can of beer and threw it at the ground.

He was wearing black sunglasses, purple t-shirt with a neon blue lighting bolt in the middle, dark blue shorts, and black flip flops.

" Ugh, seriously, there's a trash bin just two feet away from you. " Emma thought as she mentally groaned as she saw the human discard the empty can in the sand.

Then to Emma's, Millie's, and Moxxie's surprise he ran over to the table Lily was at, and where Moxxie and Millie were hiding, and flipped it over.

As he did, Millie and Moxxie were sent flying through the air, fortunately Millie managed to land on her hooves and more behind some nearby beer kegs.

Unfortunately for Moxxie, he face planted in the middle of a crowd of partying humans, who quickly took notice of him.

" Oh $#%&. " Emma thought as she saw the group of humans spotting Moxxie.

" Oh #$%&, it's a #$%&ing possum! " A human woman exclaimed in freight, finding the sight of Moxxie revolting.

" Wait, they seriously think he's a possum? " Emma thought as she lightly chuckled hearing this.

" I got it! " The same man that flipped over the table said, as he grabbed Moxxie and threw him into a nearly full beer keg and snapped the lid on.

" Well $#%&." Emma thought as she watched the humans toss and pass the beer keg amongst them like it was a beach ball.

" Hey, what happened Moxxie, I don't see him? " Millie asked curiously as she walked up to Emma, not spotting her husband anywhere.

" Well, he landed in front of a group of humans, who thankfully mistook him for a possum, then they locked him in a beer keg. " Emma said as she informed Millie of the fate of Moxxie.

" Oh no, do you know which one? " Millie asked Emma worriedly, concerned for her husband's well being.

" Yeah, I saw them tossed it over, there?" Emma said as she tried to find it, only to noticing there were several identical kegs littering the area.

" #$%&, looks like we'll have to search them all till we find him. " Emma said with a tired sign a she saw the numerous kegs scattered about the beach.

" Right, let's get started! " Millie said in agreement, as Emma and her set out searching for her husband.

"#$%&, just where did she go? " Loona asked aloud as Vortex and her walked down an alleyway.

The two hellhounds had walked quite far from the beach and into the coastal city, and had gone down alley after alley as they searched for Lily.

Though Emma words were proving true, as the two hellhounds were having a very hard time tracking Lily, even with their super senses of smell.

The hellcat had vanished like a ghost, and was proving to be just as elusive as one, as she left not even the slightest signs to follow.

" Don't worry, I'm sure well find her soon, you just gotta stay hopeful. " Vortex said confidently as he tried to reassure Loona.

" Yeah, your right. " Loona said as she smiled at him, thankful for his encouragement, though it did little to ease her guilt and regret.

" #$%&, why did I say that stuff to her, I knew better, and I said all that hurtful stuff anyway, I even #$%&ing mad her cry " Loona said, as guilt and regret tore at her heart.

" Hey, we all tend to say mean and hurtful stuff in heated moments, doesn't mean we can't say sorry afterwards and things right. " Vortex said as he looked at Loona.

" I'm not sure she'll even want to talk at all, she probably hates me now. " Loona said as she recalled Lily's face she before she ran off.

" I wouldn't say that, mad at you, most definitely, but I doubt she hates you. " Vortex said optimistically.

" You sure? " Loona asked Vortex hopefully, wanting to believe his words.

" Sure, everyone says hurtful things, me and my girlfriend sometimes fuss over things, but in the end we know neither of us mean any of the stuff we say. "

" When things get intense, and emotions run hot, we sometimes end up hurting the ones we care the most, it happens, but what matters is that we apologize and talk things out with them. "

" Oh, so he had a girlfriend already, of course. " Loona thought, feeling stupid for finding this out earlier.

" So do you have any idea why she didn't she tell me she had feelings for me before, she ever talk to you about that? " Loona asked curiously as they continued walking and looking around.

" Not really, but I did got the sense she did from, but wasn't completely sure, till I saw how she was acting around you earlier on the beach. "

" As for why she didn't tell you till now, I'm not sure, maybe she felt that she couldn't for some reason. " Vortex said with a shrug as he thought about it.

" Wait, I think I picked up her scent. " Vortex said as he suddenly stopped and sniffed the air, catching a faint whiff of Lily's scent on a breeze.

" Yeah, I smell it too, it's coming this way. " Loona said as Voetexes and her rounded a corner band headed down a back alley.

As they did, the Lily's scent grew stronger as they continued following it, and arrived at a small concrete road overpass.

Underneath the road overpass, were two grassy slopes that formed a small valley, with a small creak flowing through middle of it.

Loona and Vortex could clearly smell Lily's scent in the air here, and saw a trail of fresh shoe prints in the grass on the slope on their side.

They saw the trail of shoe prints heading down towards the underneath of the road overpass, where Lily's scent trail was also leading too as well.

" Well, looks like we found her, wish me luck, and thanks for the help. " Loona said gratefully as she smiled up at him.

" It was no prob, and good luck, hope things turn out alright between you two, see ya. " Vortex said as he smiled and patted Loona's left shoulder supportively before he walked off and left her there.

" Yeah, see ya. " Loona said with a faint smile as she watched Vortex head back towards the beach.

" Huha, alright, here I go. " Loona said as she took a deep breath to calm her nerves, before heading down to the grassy slope to find Lily.

Loona slowly made her way down the slope, and as she did, she faintly heard the sounds of soft sobbing with her sharp hearing.

As she reached the bottom of the slope, she at last found Lily, who was sitting on the grassy grounded in the shadow of the road overpass.

She was sitting with her back and head hunched over, with her arms tightly holding her legs that were pulled up to her chest, while softly crying her heart out.

" Lily. " Loona thought with a sad grimace as she saw the disguised hellcat in such a miserable state.

Loona then began slowly approaching her with cautious steps, fully aware of Lily's sharp hearing, and not wanting to spook her while she was so emotionally distraught.

" Its over, it's all over. " Lily thought as she softly wept, letting her tears fall freely as she sat there and tightly hugged herself as she looked at the ground.

" I-I'm gonna have to quit my job, I can't go back to the office, Loona's not gonna want me around anyway, and I'm gonna have to move as well. " Lily thought as she continued to softly cry.

Suddenly Lily lifted her head slightly, hearing the faint sound of slow soft footsteps behind her, and catching a whiff of a scent she knew all too well.

" Hey Lily. " Came the soft voice of Loona behind her, causing Lily to visibly flinch at the sound of the hellhounds voice.

Turning her head around slowly, Lily saw Loona standing behind her a short distance away from where she was sitting under the road overpass.

" W-Why are you here, what do w-want Loona? " Lily asked through her sobs with an unsteady and horse voice that held a hint of anger, as she glared at Loona with teary eyes.

" I-I'm here cause I came to find you, and to talk to you Lily, about what you said earlier. " Loona said meekly as she stood there like a dog would when they in trouble.

" What's there to talk about, you clearly don't share my feelings. " Lily said disheartenly as she turned her head away from Loona.

" Your were right you know, about me being jealous, I saw you were interested in Vortex, and I selfishly tried to stop you. " Lily said softly as she hugged herself tighter in shame.

" I should've realized you wouldn't feel the same about me a long time ago, and just accepted that, but I couldn't bring myself to do so. "

" I'm sorry for being so selfish Loona." Lily said with a sad and defeated tone as she closed her eyes and laid her head on her knees.

Though to Lily's surprise, she heard Loona began walking closer to her, then sat down close beside her on her left side.

" I'm not mad at you Lily. " Loona said softly as she wrap her arms around Lily in a gentle side hug, surprising the disguised hellcat.

" Y-Your not? " Lily said in shock as she lofted her tear stained face up at Loona after she broke the hug.

" No, I said some harsh stuff to you I shouldn't have, and I'm truly sorry about that. " Loona said with genuine regret as she looked at Lily.

" It's fine, I'm not mad at you. " Lily said softly as she wiped away some tears as she returned to looking at her feet.

" And about me not sharing your feelings,the if you'd only asked me out before, I would have said yes Lily. " Loona said as she lightly blushed while she fiddled with her hands.

" W-Wait, y-you would have, but I thought u were interested in Vortex? " Lily asked as she looked Loona, utterly shocked and surprised at this news.

" Well I was, but that was before I knew you had a crush on me, and I found out he had a girlfriend, why didn't you tell he already did? " Loona asked curiously as she looked at Lily

" He does, I didn't know that, it's been a few months since last we talked or hung out, we didn't talk or hang out often very often while I was a freelancer. "

" I was always moving around, looking for work as an assassin, hunting bounties, so I didn't know he did." Lily said as she recalled her life in her previous profession.

" Well, I do find you very attractive Lily, I always have, and if I had known you felt that way about me, I would've asked you out. " Loona said while blushing as she continued to fiddled with her hands

" And now that I do know you do, will you go out with me Lily? " Loona asked shyly while blushing heavily as she looked at Lily.

For a moment, Lily was left stunned as she stared at Loona like a deer in headlights, before her mind fully registered what the hellhound had asked her.

" Yes, yes I would! " Lily said happily, as Loona and her hugged each other, as they officially started their relationship.

They remained that way for a few moments, enjoying themselves, with the sound of the nearby creek and bugs as the only background noise in this moment.

" You know, I actually had a crush on you for a long time, but I was too scared to bring myself to tell you. " Lily said softly as they finally broke the hug.

" You were scared, why? " Loona asked curiously as she looked down at Lily, wondering why she was so scared of telling her.

" I was afraid that I'd ruin our friendship, afraid if I told you I had romantic feelings for you, you'd reject my feelings, that's why. " Lily said softly as she looked at the ground.

Hearing this, Loona leaned over while gently turning Lily's face towards her's, as she did Loona brought her right hand up and gently cupped Lily's right cheek.

A moment later Loona brought their lips together, and two of them shared a tender kiss, as they leaned into it and wrapped their arms around the other.

" Well, did that help? " Loona said with a cheeky smile as she saw Lily's blushing face after they broke the kiss a moment later.

" Yeah, yeah it did, but some more would be nice. " Lily said softly as she smiled up happily at Loona.

" Hm, gladly. " Loona said smiling back, as she leaned down and they began kissing again, progressing to a full make out.

" Just how many #$%&ing beer kegs are on this beach, and why do they all #$%&ing look the same?! " Emma said irritably as she tossed a empty beer keg after checking inside it.

" I don't know, but we gotta keep looking, he's gotta be in one of them! " Millie said as she frantically ripped the lids off any unopened kegs she could find.

* Thud! "

" Huh? " Emma said as she lifted her head as she heard a faint thud sound from somewhere and looked around curiously.

* Thud! *

As she did, she faintly heard the sound again, and spotted in the corner of her eye one of the beer kegs briefly moved on its own.

" Hey Millie, over here, I think I finally found him! " Emma called out as she headed over the keg.

As the two of them ran over to the keg, Millie quickly ripped the lid off, Emma tipped the keg over, and out rolled a completely smashed drunk Moxxie from an empty keg.

" Moxxie!" Millie said happily as she saw him, glad she finally found her husband at least.

" Miillieee! " Moxxie said drunkenly as he rolled onto his back and looked up at his wife with a goofy happy smile.

" Hey, hey when did you get four heads, I wanna kiss them~" Moxxie said drunkenly as he raised his arms up and tried to reach Millie's head will making a kissy face.

" Great, he's totally wasted drunk, ugh, and he rinks of cheep beer. " Emma said as she grimaced at the very strong smell of beer coming off of Moxxie.

" Yeah, sorry to say he's a bit of a lightweight, he doesn't drink much. " Millie apologized as she smiled at Emma.

" Come on Mox, let's get you back on your hooves sweety. " Millie said, as Emma and her helped the drunken imp stand up.

As they got the drunk Imp on his hooves, they began feeling the ground beneath them shake, as well as the whole beach, as they saw the sand shifting on it's own.

" What's happening, it is one of them earthquake? " Millie asked as she looked at Emma, not sure what was going on

" No, this doesn't feel like one, but let's hurry and get away from the water, I have a bad feeling about this. " Emma said as she looked towards the ocean, as her instincts warned her of approaching danger.

Moments later Emma's intuition proved right, as a humongous, towering, horrifying fish-like monster suddenly arose from the water near the shore.

" Raaauurr! " The fish-like monster bellowed as it loudly roared while looking it at the beach.

" Oooh, look, it's a fish. " Moxxie said drunkenly as he causally pointing at the huge monster, while every one else, stared up at it shocked terror.

" As soon as he said that, the fish monster eyes immediately shifted onto them, as they were the ones closest in vicinity to it.

" #$%&! " Emma yelled, before grabbing Millie and Moxxie in her arms and running away from the fish monster as it lunged at them with it gaping maw.

It missed by a short distance, and fell forward and belly flopped onto the beach, killing an oblivious adult human man passed out drunk on the beach where it fell.

Causing a shockwave from the impact, making Emma fall and tumble over, and dropping the imps near her as she fell.

" Ugh, oh $#%&! " Emma said as she pulled herself up from the sand, seeing the fish monster was getting back up, and was not far from them.

" $#%&, I have to do something! " Emma thought frantically as she swiftly sprang up to her feet.

" Hey, hey over here you dumb #$%&ing fish face! " Emma yelled as she ran towards the right side of the beach while waving her arms in the air.

" Emma, what are ya doing?! " Millie yelled in shock as she watched the human disguised hellcat try to get the fish monster's attention.

" Just #$%&ing hurry up and get Moxxie and yourself #$%&ing out of here Millie! " Emma yelled as she made a beeline across the beach, seeing the fish monster's eyes locked on her.

She hoped to distract the fish monster, and that it would chase her, leading it away from Millie and Moxxie, which indeed worked.

" Raaauurr! " The fish monster roared, as it lunged at Emma with it's fang filled maw, only to come up just short, and belly flopped onto the beach again.

" Ahh! " Emma yelled as she was sent flying though the air from the shockwave, but lucky landed on her feet as she touched down on the sand.

" Raaauurr! " The fish monster roared as it made a short lunge at Emma with it's wide open.

" Oh #$%&! " Emma yelled as she jumped back just a foot out of range of it's teeth.

She then swiftly ran away as she the fish monster, as it repeatedly lunged at her while snapping its jaws, but failed as it had little momentum while laying down.

The fish monster then shot it's long tongue at her, trying to grab her, but Emma proved faster and evaded it, as she continued to run away from the monster.

" Raaauurr! " The fish monster roared as it thrashed about and shook it's head in frustration with it's long whiskers wildly flaying about.

As it did, the tip of the fish monster's whiskers collided with a metal beer keg, launching it high up into the air, and across the beach like a foot ball.

" Oh, $#%&! " Emma said, as she her traced the trajectory of the flying keg it began falling back down to the ground.

At the speed and angle it was falling, it was heading towards where Verosika was standing on the concert stage.

She had stopped singing, and was watching what was happening on the beach, with a looked of dumbstruck shock on her face.

Immediately, Emma shifted her course and ran as fast as she could towards the stage, hoping she could beat the plummeting beer keg in time.

" Look up and move your #$$ Verosika! " Emma shouted as she sprinted towards the popstar.

" Huh, ahh! " Verosika screamed as she saw the beer keg soaring towards her, only to be tackled out of its way at the last second by Emma.

Fortunately neither of them were hit by the keg, it instead hit the stage floor like a missile, and burst open like a popped balloon, splattering beer in all directions.

" Ugh, are you okay Ms. Mayday? " Emma said a she propped her self up with her arms as she sat up and wiped drops of beer off her face and closed eyes with a hand.

Upon exploding after impact, Emma had been drenched by 1/3rd of a keg worth of beer, much her disgusts, as she now stank of cheap beer.

As she wiped her eyes and opened them, Emma saw she was sitting on Verosika's lap, who was laying on her back from being tackled, and was looking up at her with a stunned surprised look.

Verosika had been more fortunate than Emma, only having a few splashes of beer on her clothes, thanks to Emma shielding her with her body as she was tackled to the ground.

" Ahh, $#%% s-sorry about this. " Emma said as her face immediately turned a bright pink, as she realized her situation and quickly got off Verosika.

" I-I-I am so sorry about that, a-are you hurt Mss. Mayday? " Emma asked with a flustered edge as she stood up and offered her hand to the popstar.

" Yeah, yeah I'm fine. " Verosika said softly a she gladly took Emma's hand and was she helped back to her feet, blushing as she did.

" Thanks for saving me sweety. " Verosika said a she smiled at Emma sweetly.

" It was no problem Ms. Mayday. " Emma said with a hint of a flustered tone, trying to casual while she looked away to hide the blush on her face.

" Boss, you okay?! " Vortex said as he came running up to the stage.

" Yeah, I'm fine Tex, thanks to this sweet kitty here. " Verosika said flirtatiously as she smiled at Emma.

" Speaking of which Tex, where the #$%& where you when I almost got flattened, huh? " Verosika asked irritably as she glared angrily at her bodyguard with her arms folded.

" Well, I ahh, about that boss. " Vortex said nervously as he tried to think of a good way to explain his absence.

" Raaauurr! "

" Oh $#%&, that fish face is heading towards Millie and Moxxie! " Emma thought in shock and horror, as she saw the fish monster was heading towards the imp couple.

" Come on Moxxie, we gotta go! " Millie said as she struggled to dragged Moxxie, who in his heavily drunken state had become as limb as a wet noodle.

" Why's the world all *hic* spinny, and whys my legs all floppy, there like * hic * noodles. " Moxxie said drunkenly as he laughed while looking at his legs as Millie dragged him across the beach.

" Oh look, its the fish again. " Moxxie said drunkenly as he pointed at the huge fish monster approaching them.

" Huh, oh $#%&! " Millie shouted as she saw the fish monster was quickly making it's way over to them with each giant step it took.

The fish monster then shot its tongue out at them, and grabbing Moxxie, yanking him out of Millie's arms, and swiftly snapped him up in its jaws.

" Moxxie! " Millie and Emma exclaimed in shock and horror, as they saw the imp be eaten alive and whole right before their very eyes.
