* Bang, slam! *
" #$%&! " Loona exclaimed angrily, as she angrily threw the I.M.P office door open so hard it hit the wall as it swung open.
Loona then furiously slammed it behind her after Lily and her walked out into the hallway, causing another loud bang to ring out from the impact.
She then made her way to the elevator with Lily beside her, still holding each others hands, and slammed the elevator call button with the side of her free hand.
" #$%&ing seriously, what the #$%& is his problem!? " Loona growled in frustration, as Lily and her waited for the elevator to arrive.
As the two of them stood there in front of the elevator doors, Loona was angrily glaring at the elevator's doors with a scowl and her arms folded.
While Lily was doing something on her phone, before she pocketed it and looked down at the floor sadly with her hands in her pockets.
Her ears were dropped and laid against her head, while her tail was slightly wrapped around her waist, as she silently stood beside Loona.
" #$%&, can this hurry up already? " Loona said out loud irritably, as she glared up at floor numbers lighting up one by one, as it steadily got closer to their floor.
As she glared up at them angrily, wanting to leave the building as soon as possible, she spotted Lily in the corner of her eye and noticed her downtrodden demeanor.
" You okay Lily? " Loona asked softly as she looked down at Lily, her anger quickly being replaced with concern for her hellcat girlfriend.
" Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just sad that you and Blitz argued again, are you okay? " Lily asked softly as she looked up at Loona with sad and concerned eyes.
" Huha, I'll be fine, I'm just stressed out and #$%&ing pissed off right now. " Loona said softly with annoyance as she released a heavy sigh.
* Ding! *
As their floor number finally lit up and rang that it arrived, the elevator doors slid open, revealing it was thankfully empty for them.
The two of them quickly got on, and Loona punched the ground floor button, and the doors slid shut as the elevator began the trip down.
" Huha, I'm sorry about how Blitz was to you Lily, I don't know what's #$%&ing wrong with him. " Loona said irritably as she leaned on the back wall of the elevator.
" Ugh, I need a drink, or more like several after all that $#%&. " Loona said irritably with a heavy sigh as she folded her arms in frustration.
" Me too, I've got plenty of liquor at my place. " Lily said a she faintly smiled up at Loona, looking forward to showing her where she lived.
" Glad to hear that. " Loona said as she smiled at Lily, as the two of the enjoyed each others company in silence through the rest of the elevator ride down.
" I just realized this, but since Blitz drove us here, how are we going to get to you place Lily, we gonna get a taxi? " Loona asked curiously as she wondered how they were going to get there.
" That's the plan, I called us a taxi on my phone using a taxi service app called Dash Cab, while we were waiting for the elevator. " Lily said a she informed Loona of their means of travel.
" Huh, that's cool. " Loona said nonchalantly as she checked the time on her phone.
" Yeah it's pretty neat, it shows a timer of how long till they arrive, and shows the name and picture of the cab driver picking you up. " Lily said as she explained the app to Loona.
Lily then was suddenly completely engulfed in crimson flames, a moment later they disbursed, reveling Lily in her Amy disguise.
" Uh, why did you suddenly change you looks Lily? " Loona asked as stared in confusion at Lily alerted appearance.
" I'll explain when we to my place, I don't really feel like talking about it right now, okay? " Lily asked with a tried sigh as she asked Loona nicely.
" Sure, alright Lily. " Loona said nonchalantly with a shrug of her shoulders, putting her curiosity aside since she felt this was a sensitive topic for later.
A moment later a black taxi cab with the logo dash cab on the car doors, and tinted windows quickly pulled up near them on the side of the street.
As it came to a stop, the cab's passenger window rolled down, revealing a middle aged, scrawny tall imp, with short horns, and white brush side back hair.
He wore a black collar shirt, and a light tan brown beige dress pants with a dark brown belt, and wore a pair grey sneakers.
His shirt had a name tag made into it, showing his name was Steve, and had the same logo on the taxi above the name tag.
" Either of you two ladies named Ms. Calimona? " The cab driver asked curiously in a scratchy gruff voice as he looked at Loona and Lily.
" Yes that's me, and she's with me. " Lily said as she gestured to Loona.
" Alright, hop in. " Steve said nonchalantly as he unlocked the cab's car door's for them.
" After you. " Lily said sweetly as she opened the cab door for Loona and gestured for her to get in first like a gentlemen.
" How kind of you. " Loona said with a eye roll, as she lightly chuckled in amusement at Lily's actions as she got into the cab.
" The meters running, so where to ladies? " Steve asked as he turned back in this and looked at the Lily and Loona.
" Take us here, then here please. " Lily said as she showed him two marked locations on her iPhone's map.
" Sure thing ma'am. " Steve said after he looked the phone's screen, he then turned around and shifted the cab's gears, and then began driving down the street.
" Calimona, is that your middle name? " Loona asked curiously, having never Lily use that name before.
" No, it's my step family's middle name, I'll explain things when we get to our destination, right now I just wanna relax, it's been a long day. " Lily said softly as she leaned her head against Loona's right arms.
" Yeah, it sure has. " Loona said softly, as she put her arm around Lily's right shoulder, and pulled her closer to her in a gentle side hug.
Loona then began silently playing a game on her phone, while Lily looked out the window and watched the scenery pass them as the taxi drove by.
" I'll need this, and this, and this. " Loona said softly, as she went about her room, gathering and packing stuff in a travel suitcase she got out of her closet.
She gathered several sets of clothes, her phone charger, headphones charger, and anything else she could think of she thought she needed.
While she was, Lily sat on Loona's bed, not sure of how to help, as she watched Loona frantically search for and pack stuff.
" You know you don't have to be in such a rush to pack, right? " Lily asked as Loona was going around her room looking for stuff to pack.
" I know, it's just I wanna be gone before Blitz gets here, plus our cab is waiting for us, so that's why I'm hurrying. " Loona said as she packed a shirt in her suitcase.
Alright, I think I got all I need. " Loona said with a sigh, as she finally done and zipped up her suitcase.
" Great, let's get going then. " Lily said a she hopped off Loona's bed and stretched her arms and legs before the two of them left Loona's room.
" Hold on, I need to leave a note for Blitz to tell him where I've gone, I don't want him freaking out and thinking I've runaway or something. " Loona said, as shut her room door behind her.
" Yeah, I can see him doing that. " Lily said as she nodded in agreement, imagining he'd think that seeing some of Loona's stuff gone.
Loona then went to the apartment's kitchen, grabbed a sheet of paper and a pen, and laid it down on a kitchen counter as she began writing on it.
" Done, alright let's going. " Loona said as she quickly stuck the note to her room's door with a small piece of tap.
She had written a only a few words down on the sheet of paper, the note simply said on it " Gone to stay at Lily's place, be back Monday, from Loona. "
" Alrighty. " Lily said happily with a smile, as they two of them headed out of the apartment, and Loona locked the door behind her as they left.
However unbeknownst to them, Loona's note fell off her door, and slide under the living room couch mere moments right after they left.
" Oh, you two girls done already? " Steve asked after he exhaled a puff of smoke, as he saw the two of them leave the apartment building.
The imp cab driver was nonchalantly leaning up against the hood of his cab on the side facing the building, taking a smoke break as he waited for them.
" Yeah, we're done here and ready to go. " Lily said as Loona and her walked up to where the parked cab was.
" $#%&, that was fast, didn't even get to finish half my cigarette. " The Imp cab driver Steve said, as he took on last long drag of his cigarette.
" Alright, let's get going ladies, this is my second shift tonight and it ends in two hours, and I'm not working a sec more. " Steve said as he exhaled a large puff of smoke.
He then put out the cigarette by pressing the lit end against a lamppost right beside him, and then tossed it in a nearby trash bin.
" Alright, take us to the other place please. " Lily said, after Loona and her hopped back into the cab and were on the road again.
" Sure thing ma'am. " Steve said as he shifted the cab out of park and into drive, then began driving down the road once more.
" Alright ladies, we've arrived at the Crimson Lotus Hotel. " Steve said as the cab came to a stop at the entrance of a large fancy hotel.
" Wow. " Loona said in shocked surprise, as she stared up at the hotel building as she got out of the cab with her travel suitcase.
The Crimson Lotus Hotel was a luxury five star hotel and spa, that was located in the far upper western part of Imp city, where the richer city folks lived.
It was one of the most luxurious, and expensive hotels in the Imp City, where only the very rich could afford to stay at, and was where Lily called home.
The hotel building was as 50 stories tall, and had a color scheme of crimson, gold, white, and black, with crimson being the building's main color.
Above the glass double door's at the hotel's front entrance, was a large logo of the image of a Crimson lotus flower, with the hotel's name right below it.
" So, you really live here Lily? " Loona asked curiously as she looked at Lily with eyes filled with stunned surprise.
" Yeah, so are you surprised? " Lily asked playfully as she stood beside Loona and smiled seeing her reaction at finding out there she lived at.
" Yeah, I certainly am. " Loona said as she looked at Lily with an amused smile as she chuckled softly.
" So how do you afford it? " Loona asked curiously as she looked at Lily, wondering how she could live at such a high end hotel.
" Well I-"
" Hey, I still need to be paid ladies. " Steve called out from his taxi cab, as he had the passenger door window down.
" Huh, I'm sorry Loona,I'll tell you later when we get to my place. " Lily sighed as she apologized to the hellhound.
" Yeah that'd be better. " Loona agreed, seeing as the front of the hotel wasn't the best place to talk right now.
" Come on ladies, the meters still running, and I've got places to go. " Steve said impatiently as he drummed his fingers on the steering wheel.
" Yeah, yeah, I didn't forget, so how much is the cab fee? " Lily asked as she leaned against the passenger door a she got out her black leather wallet.
" Total amounts to, 57 dollars and 45 cents. " Steve said as he checked the number on the cab meter.
" Alright, here you go sir. " Lily said as she handed him the exact amount of cash, and added a 10 dollar tip with it as well.
" Thank you ma'am. " Steve said as he took the money, handed the cab receipt, and gave Lily an appreciative nod and smile as he pocketed the tip, before he drove of.
As soon as the taxi cab had drove out of sight, Lily was quickly engulfed in crimson flames for a brief moment, returning to her true appearance.
" Alrighty, shall we get going Loona? " Lily asked as softly as she smiled at Loona.
" Yeah, let's get going. " Loona said as she smiled back and followed Lily towards the hotel's entrance.
As they walked towards the hotel's entrance, they saw three demons standing at the double doors, there was one on both sides of the door, and one in front of them.
The ones on both sides of the door were tall buff demon security guards, wearing black body armour with the hotel logo on it, and armed with assault rifles, pistols, and knifes.
The one standing in front of the doors was a tall, slim male imp wearing a doorman uniform with the same color scheme as the hotel, wearing black dress shoes.
He looked to be in his mid forties, and had foot long thin horns, neatly combed and styled hair short white hair, and a thick white goatee.
On his uniform was the hotel logo and name, right above where his nametag was, showing his name was Calvin.
" Ahh, good evening Ms. Mollena and welcome back. " Calvin said politely in a gentle soft voice with a smile as he greeted Lily.
" Hey Calvin. " Lily said as she greeted the imp doorman happily with a smile as Loona and her walked up to him.
" And who is this lady with you, a friend of yours? " Calvin asked politely while he looked towards Loona curiously.
" This is my girlfriend Loona. " Lily said happily as she took Loona's left hand in her right hand, and held it with a gentle squeeze, to which Loona returned.
" Oh, I see. " Calvin said with a happy smile, happy for Lily.
" Loona this is Calvin, he's the doorman here, and a friend of mine. " Lily said happily as she introduced the two of them.
" Hey there. " Loona said casually as she greeted him.
" Hello ma'am, it's nice to meet you. " Calvin said politely as he smiled at her while he greeted her.
" So Ms. Mollena, is your girlfriend going to be staying here ? " Calvin asked as he raised an curiously as he looked at Lily.
" Yeah, she's going to be staying here with me. " Lily said said happily with a smile.
" Very well, enjoy your stay here ma'am. " Calvin said polity as he smiled at Loona, while he opened one of the glass doors for them.
" Thanks Calvin. " Lily said with a appreciative nod as Loona and her walked through the doors and into the hotel.
" Wow, this place is big. " Loona said as she looked around the hotel's lobby.
The Crimson hotel's lobby was very big, spacious, and very luxurious, it had a high ceiling with a dome shape, and light dark brown polished wood tiled floor.
The dome ceiling had a crimson lotus image the size of the ceiling on it, and suspended in the middle of the dome ceiling was a lotus shaped glass chandelier.
It was hanging by a thick, fancy engraved ornate gold chain, the lotus shaped chandelier was made of beautiful, faintly sunset red colored glass.
The glass lotus was the size of a whisky barrel, and hanging upside down facing the floor, so that guests would see the image of the lotus when they looked up.
Since it was getting dark outside, the chandelier light was on, and as it shined through the glass petals, it filled the room with a lovely sunset yellow light.
There were also wall lights with a smaller glass lotus that were right side up, and made of crystal clear glass throughout the lobby.
Throughout the lobby were all kinds of fancy luxury lounge couches, sofas, chairs, made of high quality leather and fabric.
There were also exquisitely carved and engraved wooden tables, as well a large bar on the left side of the lounge area.
The bar had a long counter, made of rich dark polishes black wood, with bar stools with dark brown leather seats, and jad many shelfs behind it lined bottles of high quality liquor.
" Yeah it is, pretty nice right? " Lily asked as she smiled at Loona's reaction to seeing the hotel's lobby.
" Yeah it is. " Loona said as she continued to look around the lobby and it's architecture.
" Alrighty, now before we head to my place, I need to talk the front desk and inform them you'll be staying with me, and get you logged in as a guest. "
" And don't worry about anything, I'll be paying for all your expense while you stay here. " Lily said nonchalantly as they began walking to the hotel's reception desk.
" Alright, though I feel bad for making you doing that for me, since I asked to stay over at your place. " Loona said as her ears flattened a bit, knowing this place as very expensive to stay at for even one night.
" It's alright, I can afford it, and your my girlfriend Loona, so I don't mind at all if it's for you. " Lily said sweetly as she smiled at Loona.
" Thanks Lily. " Loona sad as she smiled back at Lily sweetly.
" Of course, it's no prob Loona. " Lily said as they neared the hotel's front desk.
" Excuse me ma'am. " Lily said as Loona and her approached the hotel's front desk, where a female imp hotel receptionist was working on a desk computer.
" Hm, oh hello Ms. Mollena, is there something I can do for you? " A female imp receptionist asked politely as she looked up from her computer and saw Lily and Loona.
She was a tall, slim, winged Imp with foot long backwards curved horns, short neatly combed black hair, with a neck length ponytail.
She wore a fancy gold button up black business blazer jacket with the hotel logo on it, a crimson dress shirt, and a knee length business skirt.
Right below the hotel logo on her business blazer jacket, was a gold colored metal nametag plate, showing her name was Rina.
" Hello, and yes there is, this is my girlfriend and I'd like her to be logged in as a guest here, she'll be staying with me. " Lily casually informed the female imp receptionist as she gestured to Loona.
" Of course, one sec please. " Rina said politely, as she went to typing on the desk computer.
" Okay, she's been logged in as a guest staying with you Ms. Mollena, and has been issued hotel guest privileges. " Rina said cheerfully as she finished typing on her computer.
" Here is your keycard ma'am. " Rina said polity as she handed Loona a keycard with the hotel logo on it, with a gold ring around the hotel logo.
" Thanks. " Loona said as she took the keycard and quickly stuffed it in one of her shorts pockets.
" Your welcome ma'am, enjoy your stay. " Rina said cheerfully with a smile, before she went back to work on the desk computer.
With their business concluded, Lily and Loona headed to where the elevators were on the right side of the lounge area.
The lobby having were five elevators in total, Lily went right up to the farthest right one with Loona following beside her.
" Hm, why's this one have a card slot on it? " Loona asked, noticing the one they walked up to had a keycard slot under the call button.
" Oh this, this is the private elevator for the penthouse here, if you were shocked before, here's an even bigger surprise, I live there. " Lily said playful as she smiled at Loona.
" Huh, . " Loona said with surprised tone, indeed very much surprised by that.
" And since your staying with me, the keycard you have gives you access to it as well, that what's the gold ring on it means. " Lily said as she pulled a hotel keycard from her neck fur, and showed Loona they were identical.
" Cool. " Loona said as she looked at the gold ring on her keycard, before stuffing in her right front shorts pocket.
" And the best part about this, is it's a lot faster than other elevators. " Lily said, as she slid her card into the keycard reader slot.
A moment after she did a small light lit bright green, and a short high pitch beep was heard, before Lily took her card out and put it back in her fur.
" Well that's good to hear. " Loona said a she saw a black crab above the elevator light up, showing the number fifty, and began rapidly counting down.
" Yeah, it won't take long. " Lily said, as the two of them stood their, watching the numbers quickly going down.
" So that's with the name Mollena? " Loona asked curiously as she turned and looked at Lily as they waited.
" It was my mother's middle name, her full name was Aleina Mollena Vamerona. " Lily said softly, whilenlooking at the elevator doors with a somber face filled with melancholy.
" Oh, that's a pretty name. " Loona said softly, trying to cheer Lily's up as she saw Lily looking sad.
" Thanks, she would have liked to hear that, and I'm sure she would have loved to have meet you Loona. " Lily said with a faint happy and sad smile as she imaged it.
" So would have I. " Loona said softly, as she grabbed Lily's left hand in her right hand and gently squeezed it to comfort the hellcat.
* Ding! *
A moment later the elevator sounded it's arrival, as the doors slid open, and the two of them walked in, and the doors closed behind them.
The walls of the elevator were a light pale beige, the ceiling was crimson with a lotus image on it, and had dark brown wood tile flooring.
It also had a call button panel with a number of floor buttons on it, each with a name right above each floor button.
One button said ground floor, spa, another said gym, outdoor public pool, indoor public pool, and the one Lily pressed said Penthouse.
Once she pressed it, they felt the elevator move a moment later and then begin rapidly gain spewd as it ascended to the penthouse.
" Huha, so now that we're alone, you can ask me what you wanna know now. " Lily said with a tired sigh as she turned to look to Loona.
" Okay, so what was with you changing your looks back then, and the using different names and all? " Loona asked curious as she looked at Lily, wondering why she was doing ball this for.
" Huha, it's so that #$%&ing bastard won't find or bother me, that's why I go to such lengths. " Lily said bitterly with an angry frown as she sighed heavily.
" Oh. " Loona said softly, knowing Lily wss talking about her biological father.
" Yeah, in the past he's repeatedly gotten my personal cell number somehow and called me, despite how many times I'd #$%&ing changed my phone and number. " Lily said dryly.
" He also had somehow found out where I've lived before, and where I've hung out when I'm not working, and paid me surprise visits. " Lily said dryly a heavy sigh of annoyance.
" $#%&, that's, I'm sorry Lily. " Loona said sincerely as she looked at Lily sympathetically, sad the hellcat had to have put up with that.
" But why from what you've told me, he sounded like he hardly cares about you. " Loona said, recalling what Lily had told her about her biological father.
" Yeah, well that was before I met him, after he found out about me and my relation to him, he's been trying to be involved in my life ever since. " Lily said with a heavy sigh of frustration.
" He told me he's wants to be there for me, since he wasn't before, and make up for his mistakes he made with me. "
" Bu since then, he hasn't changed a bit, he's still the same frivolous, neglecting, absent, irresponsibly, selfish, impulsive, #$%&ing skirt chaser he always was. "
" Not that I wasn't the slightest bit surprised, I never expected him to change at all, besides it's far too #$%&ing late for him to try. " Lily said with an angry frown.
" But, the good news is that he hasn't bothered me for over half a year now, thanks with the help of my family. " Lily said with a faint happy smile, as she thought of her aunt and uncle.
" I hope you never meet him, but if you ever meet a male Zelramorta hellcat named Arlondo, that's him. " Lily said as she said her biological father name angrily with a scowl. "
" He's two heads taller than me, has the same fur color as me but slightly darker, and minus the honey gold splashes. " Lily said bitterly as she described her biological father's appearance.
" Got it, I'll keep that in mind. " Loona said with a nod, as she made a point to make a mental note of the description Lily told her.
" He's a total disgrace to the entire Zelramorta family, because he goes around sleeping with other women, and living so shamelessly. "
" He also doesn't care, or simply doesn't think about how his behavior and actions effect others, or the trouble he causes for others because of it. " Lily said heavy sigh of annoyance.
" He works a freelance assassin last I heard about him from my aunt, he left the family business long ago, she said he wanted to live on his own terms. "
" Thought despite that, he works for them from time to time, doing jobs they hand to him that don't matter if he screws up. " Lily said as she recalled what her aunt told her about him.
"But enough about him, I'd rather not think or at all if I can help it. " Lily said softly with a tired sigh as she glared at the elevator doors.
" Yeah, I can understand that. " Loona said softly sympathetically as she nodded in agreement as she held Lily's hand to comfort her, knowing that talking about this only made Lily mad.
* Ding! *
" Oh, we're finally here. " Lily said in mild surprise, as her an Loona's ears perked up as they heard the elevator had reached their destination.
As the doors slid open, Loona and Lily walked out of the elevator, and were greeted by a short hallway that lead into a large contemporary fourier.
The foyer had a cream white high arched ceiling, there was also a dark rich brown wooden front door, with a fancy ornamental gold doorknob.
Above the door was a small ceiling light, and in front of the door, was a small U shaped patch of floor made of light brown wood tiles in the shape of zigzag lines.
As they walked through the fourier, they entered a very large and open concept designed luxurious modern contemporary living room.
Standing in the living room, one could see the whole penthouse had a open concept design, and was very spacious.
The ceiling was a high ceiling, and was a pale light beige color with a dome shape, with a crimson lotus outline on the ceiling, and a floor made of rich dark brown wood tiles.
The walls were a pale light charcoal grey, in middle the living room was a black leather half circle shaped lazy boy sofa, and a round glass coffee table in front of it.
The table had polished smooth black wood legs, and a gold rim at the edge of the glass table top, and both the sofa and coffee table sat on a dark tan rug.
The wall facing the couch was made of dark charcoal black wood tiles, and had a 80 inch, flat screen wall TV on it.
Connected to the living room, was a large modern luxury chef kitchen, like the rest of the house, it too had a open concept and contemporary design.
It had a dark wood tile arch ceiling, pale gray walls, white tile flooring, a dark wooden dining room table, a circular island, and a large stainless steel modern luxury stove.
It also had a stainless double door deluxe refrigerator, black granite countertops, and black wooden cabinets with ornamental gold handles.
On the kitchen dining room table, sat a potted plant in a black flower pot, the plant was a carnivorous species of hellplant the size of a average watermelon.
The hellplant was a carnivorous species of plant, resembling a pale white pink unopened flower bloom, and sat in a black flower pot.
And throughout the place, there were windows that had crimson curtains, showing a great view of the city around the hotel.
There were also many lovely paintings and photos throughout the penthouse, each showing something different.
Some where photos and paintings of flowers, some of sunrises and the night sky, and some were of places on earth.
Rather than a penthouse, the place looked like a mansion, and clearly showed the luxury of what a high-end five star hotel could provide.
" Wow. " Loona said softly as she stood just sort of entering the living room, and looked around the place Lily called home in awe.
" Welcome to my abode Loona, make yourself at home. " Lily said happily with a delighted smile, as she saw Loona's reaction to seeing her place of residents.
