Hey yo I'm back! So yeah, I'm introducing Huntress Wizard in this chapter. This is my longest chapter yet and I'm pretty sure I took care of all the spelling and grammar errors this time. I know I'm pretty bad at that but at this point, just turn it into a Where's Waldo thing and try to have fun finding my mistakes.

Enjoy!

I do not own 'Adventure Time'.

Chapter 17

Teardrops

"Whaddup, this is Marceline the Vampire Queen. Leave a message."

(Beep)

"Marcy, it's Finn. Listen, Ice King's been poisoned and it's really bad. Abracadaniel, Life Giving Magus and I are going to get him the cure. I need you to head over to the Ice Kingdom and keep an eye on IK, we put him on ice to keep him alive so don't freak out when you see him. Stay by his side until we get back. Call me back immediately if something goes wrong. See ya soon." Finn hung up and put his phone back in his jacket pocket.

"Good idea, having someone stay by Ice King's side while we're gone should give us one less thing to worry about." said Abracadaniel.

"Yeah, that just leaves us with only ninety nine things to worry about." Life Giving Magus added bitterly.

Finn and the two wizards were heading deep into the forest in search of the elusive Huntress Wizard. They walked through the woods with the wizards leading the way. "Are you guys sure you know where she lives?" Finn asked as they walked. "'Cause I don't feel like getting lost in the middle of the woods."

"I'm like, seventy six percent sure we're going the right way." Abracadaniel said.

"That's more than half." LGM stated.

Finn hummed in worry. "So guys, how long have you been friends with Ice King?" he asked, hoping a conversation would speed up the search.

"For a while now." LGM said. "Back before the Lich massacre, we were just three unwanted wizards who didn't get a lot of praise from the rest of the magical community. Me and Abracadaniel never got a lot of respect for our capability in the field of magic and as powerful as Ice King is, none of the other wizards really… dig his style."

"We sort of started hanging out by default." Abracadaniel continued. "Ice King might be a bit loopy, but he's really a pretty great guy once you get to know him."

"In all honesty, we were honored that a sorcerer of his caliber even bothered with us." LGM confessed with an embarrassed smile.

Finn smiled back. "It must have gotten even better when the Ice King defeated the Lich and became his warden."

"Are you kidding? Ice King became the talk of the town after that!" exclaimed LGM. "He got an invite from nearly every secret wizard society in Wizard City to join them."

"But he denied every single one of them and instead, founded a new society for misfit wizards like us." said Abracadaniel. "It's called, 'The Order of Giuseppe'."

Finn raised an eyebrow. "Order of Giuseppe?"

Instead of explaining, LGM and Abracadaniel reached into their pockets and each pulled out a golden ring engraved with the image of an apple tree. They put on their rings and tapped them together. "Thank you Giuseppe." They sang in unison.

Finn was about to ask who Giuseppe was but decided instead to ask about a more pressing matter. "So this Huntress Wizard person, what's she like?"

Abracadaniel put his ring back in his pocket and shrugged. "I don't really know a lot about her, no one does."

LGM pocketed his ring. "Huntress Wizard is reclusive even by wizard standards, all anyone actually knows about her is what her reputation says of her. She's just some forest nymph who appeared out of nowhere one day and started crushing the competition."

"You said she can go toe to toe with Ice King, right?" Finn asked.

"Oh yeah, her technique of magic is incredibly ancient and effective." Abracadaniel said. "Where she managed to learn that kind of magic no one knows, some say she learned it from an ancient forest god or something like that."

"But you also said magic is fueled by craziness and sadness."

"Madness and sadness. It rhymes that way."

"So if Huntress Wizard is as powerful as Ice King, can we expect her to be… a little coo-coo bananas too?" Finn asked.

"Actually no, from what I've heard Huntress Wizard is pretty stable." said LGM. "I guess she's really mastered the balance of emotions, maybe that's also what makes her magic so potent."

"Make no mistake though, she is not a wizard to cross." Abracadaniel added fearfully. "I've heard rumors that she skins her enemies alive and adds their pelts to their collection."

Finn gulped. 'I hope to holy hell she doesn't see me as a rare trophy.' he thought to himself.

The three of them eventually came across a small river, it flowed lazily through the forest like it couldn't care less. "Okay, we should follow this river." Abracadaniel said. "Huntress Wizard will most likely set up camp by a clean water supply."

Finn wished they had a more accurate lead on her location but couldn't argue with the logic. So the three of them began following the river downstream, hoping to see some sign of the Huntress Wizard. Finn took a deep breath of rich, clean forest air. "This is nice, this helps calm the nerves. If Huntress Wizard lives here then I can understand why she's more steady minded than the other wizards."

"Yeah, this is pretty nice." LGM agreed. "And Huntress Wizard puts a lot of work into keeping it that way. She's got the whole 'protector of the forest' thing going on. You so much as throw your empty soda can into the river and she'll fish it out and shove it down your throat. At least, that's what I've heard."

Finn shrugged. "Gotta respect them environmentalists." he said casually, although on the inside he was fretting more and more over meeting this wizard.

"So Finn, I know this may not be the best time but, can you remember anything else about Shoko?" Abracadaniel asked eagerly.

"Yeah come on, give us something! Anything!" cried LGM.

Finn furrowed his brow in concentration, he tried to pick up where he last left off with Shoko. "I… I can't remember exactly but… I think I…" Finn's eyes shot open and he stopped walking.

"I died when I took that next job."

Abracadaniel and LGM gasped. "No way! What happened?!" LGM shouted.

Finn rubbed his temples. "I don't know… I think… I think it had something to do with-" Finn stopped talking when he spotted something stuck in a nearby tree. He walked up to the tree and took a look at the arrow embedded in its trunk. Finn grabbed the shaft of the arrow and yanked it out of the tree, it looked and felt like it was made of grass. Finn gave the arrow's tip the tiniest of taps, a small trickle of blood began to slowly ooze down his finger.

Finn showed the two wizards the arrow, they both stared at it looking slightly agitated. "We're getting close." Life Giving Magus confirmed, his voice betrayed fright.

They continued down the river until they came to a cliffed clearing in the forest, the river continued until it went through what looked like a group of intertwined trees and went over the cliff's edge as a small waterfall. Finn made his way to the bundle of trees with LGM and Abracadaniel a few steps behind him. They moved slowly, weary of any traps or home security measure the Huntress Wizard might've set up. When the trio made it to the trees they saw that they sorta formed a house with a leaf canopy roof, the river went through a root grate under the house and the only visible entrance inside was blocked by a barricade of thick vines.

The three of them stopped several feet from the entrance, then Abracadaniel and LGM gave Finn a nudge forward. Finn walked up to the house of trees, he raised his hand to knock on the vine gate but just held his fist in the air.

"Well go on, what are you waiting for?" Abracadaniel asked.

Finn gulped. "Well I… I'm just trying to make sure this won't set off some kind of trap." he said. "I mean… what if the house thinks I'm attacking it or something?"

"Come on Finn, just knock on the door." LGM urged. "Nothing bad's gonna happen."

Finn took a breath and knocked on the door, but as soon as he got two knocks in three large vines sprung up from the dirt and wrapped around Finn, Abracadaniel and LGM's legs.

Finn looked down at the vine around his legs. "...Hey Magus?"

"Yeah yeah, I know."

The guys screamed as the vines grew into trees and they were hauled into the air, when the trees were done growing the three of them were left hanging upside down from the tree's branches about twelve feet from the ground.

Abracadaniel swung his arms about in a wild panic. "Oh my glob! Oh my glob! Oh my glob! We're gonna have our heads mounted over Huntress Wizard's fireplace!"

"I wouldn't worry about that Abracadaniel." said LGM. "A fireplace in a house like that? Not only would it be a total fire hazard it would just go terribly with the rest of the house's decor. I'm thinking more of an indoor fire pit placed in the very center of the house, either dug-in or a stone circle. Something to match the home's rustic, outdoor splendor."

"That still wouldn't stop her from decorating her wall with our heads!"

"Well no, of course it wouldn't. I was just sayin'."

Finn hung from the tree with his back to the house, he let out a frustrated groan. "We travel all this way to meet her and we end up hanging upside down like a bunch of turkeys. I understand she values her privacy but does the crazy chick really need to put this much effort into keeping people out?"

Looks of absolute terror formed on Abracadaniel and LGM's faces.

"...She uhhhh… she's standing right behind me, isn't she?"

They both nodded.

An arrow floated up to Finn's head and aimed itself between his eyes, the arrow glowed with a green energy.

"This 'crazy chick' just wants to make sure people understand that I wish to be left alone." a female voice from behind said. "Apparently, not everybody understands this."

Finn eyed the arrow floating in front of him fearfully, he took a breath to help calm his nerves. "I apologize miss Huntress Wizard, I meant no offense. It's just been a stressful day for me and my friends here. You see, our friend was-"

Finn let out a yelp when the arrow suddenly shot upward and cut the vine wrapped around his legs. Finn fell to the ground like an acorn and he hit the dirt with a painful thud. Finn winched in pain as he sat up but froze when he saw the expertly crafted, stone tipped spear pointed at his throat, he looked up at the wizard holding the spear.

Finn wasn't entirely sure what to expect Huntress Wizard to look like, maybe some lady who wore animal pelts and had a bow slung over her shoulder. He wasn't expecting a girl who looked to be about his age. Her skin was light green as if chlorophyll flowed through her veins instead of blood, which might've been true since her hair was a cluster of green leaves. The huntress wore a green shirt and tan leggings with a pair of knee-high brown boots made for an outdoor trek. A tan, hooded cape covered her leafy hair and she wore a black eye mask over her green cat-like eyes. A tan glove covered her right hand, an apparent sign of an archer. Her strangest feature was the pair of tree branch antlers on her head, they poked through her hood and had a couple small leaves growing here and there. Finn wondered how she got the hood on and off.

Huntress Wizard stared Finn down with her intense green eyes, they weren't crazy eyes like the Ice King's were but they were alert and focused. Her eyes seemed able to read every detail. "Who are you and what do you want with me?" she demanded.

Finn gulped and raised his hands in surrender. "My name is Finn, Finn Campbell. Nice to meet you. Please don't spear me."

Huntress raised an eyebrow. "I know that name. You're Presto the Ice Ninja?"

"I prefer Finn if you don't mind." Finn pointed a thumb at the two wizards still hanging upside down behind him. "And that's Abracadaniel and Life Giving Magus, Life Giving Magus is the hairy one."

Huntress Wizard looked up at the two wizards. "Yes, I know who they are as well."

"Please don't kill us!" LGM cried. "You're a strong, independent female figure and I respect the hell out of that!"

"I respect that even more!" Abracadaniel shouted. "Also, people are always telling me I have a weirdly shaped head! You don't want to mount it on your wall, I promise!"

Huntress just stared at the two wizards for a bit before she looked back down at Finn. "Why are you here?" she sounded mildly annoyed.

"Uhhhhhh…" Finn bit his lower lip nervously. "Well… it's about Ice King."

The Huntress Wizard's eyes narrowed. "The Ice King sent you?" Her tone developed a dangerous edge to it, three arrows floated out from behind her and aimed themselves at Finn, Abracadaniel and LGM.

Beads of sweat formed on Finn's face. "Woah woah hold up, nobody sent us! Ice King's been poisoned and he doesn't have a lot of time left! We need your help to find the cure for him!"

Huntress Wizard's eyes widened in alarm. "If the Ice King croaks then-"

"The Lich will be able to break out of his prison, yeah. Look, I know you don't like the Ice King but he needs your help. We need to find the cyclops with magic healing tears and you're the only one who can help us hunt him down." Finn looked into HW's eyes with a pleading look.

Huntress stared back with an unreadable look on her face, after a minute of thinking she moved her spear away from Finn's throat and the arrows disappeared with a snap of her fingers. "Alright, I'll help you. For a price anyway."

"Ice King's gonna die and the Lich will be set free!" Finn complained.

"Nothing comes without a price, that is the way of the world." HW said.

Finn sighed. "Alright fine, what do ya want?"

"In exchange for my service, I shall demand a favor from each of you." the Huntress said.

Finn tilted his head. "A favor?"

"Yes. Once I find the cyclops, you all owe me a solid. Also I want to keep the head after you guys take your tears." Huntress tapped the ground with the butt of her spear and LGM and Abracadaniel fell to the ground. "Life Giving Magus, I want your favor up front."

LGM got up and rubbed his head. "Ow. Yeah, sure. Whaddya want?"

Huntress Wizard summoned another arrow. "Bring this arrow to life, I wanna see if having a talking arrow sidekick would be cool."

"Oooo, that does sound cool!" Magus took off an oven mitt and walked over to Huntress. "Let there be life!" He touched the arrow and it grew a pair of eyes and a mouth, as well as a pair of arms and legs.

"Howdy! I'm Aaron the arrow! I'm gonna be your friend till the very end!"

"Kill it now."

"Are you sure? I kinda like this guy's cheerful demeanor."

"I said now."

"Ah you're no fun." LGM touched the arrow once more and it turned back into a normal arrow.

"Well that was a waste of a favor." Huntress dismissed her spear and arrow. "How much time does Ice King have left?"

"Not a whole lot." Abracadaniel answered. "We did what we could but I'd say we should expect the worst by tomorrow."

Huntress rubbed her chin in thought. "Alright listen, I've got a good hunch on where the cyclops is hiding. I can help you find him but you three need to do exactly as I say. Understand?"

The three guys nodded.

"Good." Huntress brought her fingers to her lips and whistled. A few seconds after she did, four majestic stags bounded out of the forest. They stopped in front of the group of wizards plus one human, Huntress walked up to the lead stag and mounted him. "Come on guys, move your rumps!" she called from up on her deer.

LGM and Abracadaniel eyed the deer wearily. "Ya know… we could just take a manticore uber." LGM suggested.

"Yeah, or at least a griffon taxi." said Abracadaniel. "You may not be able to understand a word of what those griffons are saying but they know their way around."

Finn walked up and mounted the buck next to HW's, he gave the stag's neck a rub. "This is cool, I am totally down with the deer!"

Huntress gave a small smile at the excited boy and looked back at the other two. "Come on guys, grab your nuts and let's go. Ice King needs those tears."

Magus and Abracadaniel gave each other a nervous look.

Finn and the three wizards rode through the forest on the backs of the bucks, Huntress led the way with Finn right behind her. Abracadaniel and LGM lagged behind, clinging to their deer like their life depended on it. Finn was having a blast, riding on the back of a majestic buck as it bounded through the woods was exhilarating. It reminded him a bit of riding Joice the tiger during his life as Shoko.

Finn rode up to HW's side. "This is awesome!" He shouted enthusiastically.

Huntress smirked. "You don't do a lot of outdoor stuff do you?" she asked.

"Well I mean… I once camped outside of my house when I was little. Other than that, no not really." Finn confessed.

Huntress gave a small chuckle. "It's something I guess. So tell me, how have the Humans been doing all this time? Until you showed up, everybody thought you guys were extinct."

Finn's face became pensive. "We've been… doing pretty okay I guess. To tell you the whole truth, my time in Ooo has given me a whole new perspective on that matter."

Huntress tilted her head. "How so?"

"Well… learning and discovering everything there is to learn and and discover about Ooo has finally given me a place to set the bar. Founder's Island is no longer the center of my universe, I can finally look at my home and point out everything that's wrong with it by comparing it to Ooo- the one other place in the world I know exists now." Finn looked at HW. "Does that make me selfish though? I feel as though I might be hacking on my island only out of spite."

Huntress Wizard gave Finn a look of empathy, like she knew where Finn was coming from. "Dude, you're not being the unfair one. You've been given an opportunity to get a taste of the rest of the world and now the taste of your own home has gotten stale and lost its flavor. It's only natural to want to see the rest of what the world is like, especially when you live on an island out in the middle of nowhere."

Finn took in Huntress's words. "I… I guess you're right but, what about my family back on the island? I don't want to abandon them but… should I?... Do I kinda have to now, now that I know there's more to the world than oceans and monsters?"

"Finn… nobody else in this entire world has the right to answer that except you. Not me, not your family, not Glob, only you."

Finn looked back at the path they were following in solemn silence, everything Huntress Wizard had said was true and he knew it. But Finn still had no idea how to decide; spend the rest of his life in this land of wonder or go back to the only home he had ever known?

Finn let out a long breath. "Sorry about dumping all of that on you."

"It's cool man, sometimes you just need to take a nice dump to feel better."

Finn laughed. "Yeah, I guess that's true. I do feel better now, thanks."

Huntress smiled. "No prob."

Finn and Huntress heard a frightened yelp behind them and looked back, Abracadaniel and LGM's stags had caught up to them. The two wizard men were clinging to their mounts with terrified looks on their faces.

"Why did I agree to even come? What possible use could I be on a cyclops hunting trip? I do yoga for crying out loud!" Abracadaniel whined.

"Oh man, I think I'm gonna be sick!" Magus leaned over the deer's side and threw up. "Oh glob, I think my puke just brought that rock to life!"

"Take it easy boys, we're almost there." Huntress told them. "We should be coming across a river soon, if I'm right, then the cyclops should be somewhere on the other side of the river."

Just as Huntress said, they soon came to a fast moving river several yards wide. Finn and Huntress dismounted their deer and walked up to the river's edge, Abracadaniel and LGM fell to ground with an ungraceful thump.

Finn looked across the raging river. "That's it? We just gotta cross this river and we'll find the cyclops on the other side? Seems simple enough."

"It isn't though." Huntress summoned an arrow and stuck the head in the water, the arrow steamed and hissed when it came into contact with the river water. She pulled it out of the river to see that the arrow's head was gone, steam came off of the seared end of the arrow. "Acid water, I wouldn't recommend boating across and I sure as hell wouldn't recommend swimming across."

Life Giving Magus and Abracadaniel walked up next to Finn and Huntress. "Maybe we could magic us a bridge over to the other side." Abracadaniel suggested.

"My thoughts exactly." said Huntress. "Get back guys."

The guys did as they were told and Huntress knelt down and placed her hands on the ground, she began to chant in a mysterious language. Whatever language Huntress Wizard was chanting in seemed to resonate within the woods, like she was speaking to the forest on a radio frequency only they knew. Huntress began to shake and her chanting became louder, the guys took a few more scared steps back.

Suddenly, Huntress Wizard stood up and yelled into the sky with her arms raised in the air and a giant, green stalk burst out the ground underneath Huntress and it carried her over to the other side of the river as it continued to grow. Once the stalk reached the other side, Huntress jumped off and it embedded itself into the ground. Once it was rooted into place, the stalk ceased movement.

Finn, Abracadaniel and LGM stared eyes wide and mouth agape at the sight before them. Huntress Wizard waved at them from the other side of the river. "Whatcha waiting for guys?! Come on over, the bridge is safe!" she called out.

Finn led the two wizards over to the large green vine, it was several feet wide and looked sturdy enough to hold them. Finn was the first to start his walk over the river, Abracadaniel and LGM looked at each for support before following. The three of them met Huntress on the other side, who had her arms crossed and was tapping her foot impatiently. "Took you long enough, how long does it take to cross a bridge?"

"When you're crossing a bridge that extends over a river of acid, one can't help but take each step with caution!" LGM complained.

Huntress shrugged. "Fair enough. Follow me." Huntress walked off into the woods and the three guys followed. They eventually came to another clearing, a large, grassy, tree covered cliff stood before them. Huntress froze and the others followed suit, her antlers twitched on her head. "He's somewhere nearby." HW whispered, she summoned a wooden bow in her hands and knocked an arrow. "Keep behind me but stay close." Huntress walked slowly toward the cliff and Finn, Abracadaniel and LGM followed behind her. They were a few feet away from the cliff when Huntress raised a hand up in a halt position, she eyed the large rise of land in front of them suspiciously.

"That cliff… is not a real cliff." HW said, she then drew back her bow and fired her arrow at the top of the cliff. When the arrow hit its mark, the entire cliff began to rumble. Huntress stood her ground but the guys backed up a bit, they watched as the cliff broke apart and a giant cyclops rose. The one-eyed behemoth had grass and pine trees growing out of his light brown skin, one of his legs was a large log and the other was made of intertwined vines. His big green eye focused on the four newcomers.

"I know what you want!" the beast roared. "You want my magic tears, don't you?! Well you can't have them, because I never cry!"

"Tell you what big guy, give us some your tears and we'll go peacefully." Huntress Wizard proposed.

"HA HA HA! You think I'm scared of some pathetic little tree nymph!" The cyclops bellowed. "Oh no! What're gonna do, make me a flower circlet?!"

Huntress narrowed her eyes at the giant. "Buddy boy, I'mma gonna give you a real good reason to cry."

"Bring it!" The cyclops charged towards them, Abracadaniel and LGM ran away screaming but Finn and Huntress held their ground. Finn summoned an ice throwing knife and threw it at the cyclops' foot and Huntress fired a trio of arrows, the cyclops stopped and cried out in pain. "OW! You little insects!" He sent a fist flying towards them and they rolled out of the way to either side. Before he could retract his fist Finn summoned a pair of ice knives and Huntress summoned a pair of tomahawks, together they cut into the giant's wrist.

The giant reeled his hand back and let out a painful roar, he gripped his wrist painfully and glared at Finn and Huntress with murder in his green eye. "That's it! I'm through playing around!" The cyclops sent the back of his hand flying towards them, Huntress managed to back flip out of harm's way but the cyclops struck Finn and sent him flying into a tree. He slid down the tree's trunk with a painful moan.

"Finn!" Huntress shouted, while she was distracted, the giant kicked her away, sending her flying into the woods. He then stomped over to where Finn lay.

"Uuuugh. Yup, this hurts. This really hurts. Pretty sure some of my ribs are broken. Oh man this hurts." he groaned.

"Then I'll go ahead and put you out of your misery!" Said the cyclops, he sent his fist hurtling towards Finn.

Before the cyclops could crush Finn, a van-sized boulder jumped in front of the injured human. The giant's fist made a loud crackling sound when he punched the large rock.

"OOOOOOWWW!" The beast cried and brought his fist back. "MY FREAKING HAND!"

"Not today ugly. Not. To. Day." the boulder said.

LGM and Abracadaniel appeared at Finn's side. "Don't worry Finn, we've got your back!" LGM exclaimed.

"Indeed we do!" said Abracadaniel, the wizard then pulled out his stick wand and aimed it at the boulder. "Cantrip!" A small rainbow shot out of the wand and struck the boulder, turning it into a pink butterfly. The butterfly flew up into the air towards the cyclops' head.

The one-eyed giant recovered from his shock and glared at Finn and the wizards with intense rage, he held his broken hand against his chest. "You little MAGGOTS! I am going to break every bone in your body, heal you with my tears, break them again, and repeat the process until I finally get bored!"

The butterfly was now fluttering above the cyclops' head, Abracadaniel aimed his wand at the pink insect. "Cantrip!" he shouted once more, a beam of pink light shot towards the butterfly.

"Cantrip? The hell does that even m-" Before the giant could finish, the butterfly was hit by Abracadaniel's spell which turned back into a boulder and promptly landed on the behemoth's head. The cyclops' eye rolled back into head. "Uuuuuuuuh." he uttered.

The boulder crashed into the ground. "Did I do good father?" it asked LGM.

"You sure did buddy, you sure did." LGM took off an oven mitt. "Now it's time to rest." he touched the rock and returned it to being a normal rock.

The cyclops seemed to get his bearings back and rubbed his head, he still looked a little out of it though. "Uuuuh. I… I will… ge… get you for this. You… you hear me? I'll-"

Something flew into the cyclops' eye and exploded in a cloud of yellow smoke, the giant reared back in pain. "AHHHHH! IT BURNS, IT BURNS!" He fell on his butt. "OOOOOOH MAKE IT STOP!" The tears came flowing out of his eyes like a waterfall now, they splashed onto Finn and he could feel his bones and bruises instantly mend.

Finn jumped to his feet. "I feel better now." He stated, Finn then looked over at Huntress Wizard, who stood by the clearing's edge bow in hand. "Nice shot Huntress!" he called out.

Huntress ran over to Finn and the other wizards. "You guys okay?" she asked.

The three of them nodded. "Yeah, we're good." Finn answered.

"Good. 'Scuse me for a sec." Huntress ran up to the sobbing cyclops and scaled his body up to his head, which she yanked off of his shoulders as easily as if it were a carrot in the ground. The giant's body fell back and Huntress slid down his chest and jumped to the ground with the cyclops' head held above her own head. The still alive head continued to cry out of it's puffy, green eye.

Huntress carried the head over to the others. "You guys bring something to store the tears in?" she asked.

Finn and the wizards looked at each other. "Uh no, no we did not. Kind of poor planning on our part." Finn said.

Huntress looked at the sun, which was starting to set. "Well then we'll just take the whole thing." Huntress put the head down and stretched her arms out to her sides, she then began to morph into the form of a giant hawk much to the shock of the three guys. Her clothes molded into her feathery body until all that was left was her eye mask over her green eyes. Hawk Huntress flapped her wings and grabbed the head in her talons, she caws at the bewildered boys.

"Oh uh, yeah yeah, right." Finn crawled onto Hawk Huntress' back reluctantly followed by LGM and Abracadaniel.

"Ah come on man, I get air sick." The cyclops head complained.

Hawk Huntress gave the head an angry caw before taking off into the sky.

Marceline float-paced back and forth in front of Ice King's coffin, she looked worried out of her mind. "Come on Finn, hurry up with that cure." Finn had called Marcy while she was asleep, when she got his message she flew over to the Ice Kingdom as fast as she could, still in her white t-shirt and black pajama pants. Marcy looked over at IK's frozen form, seeing him like this left a severe pit in her stomach. The Vampire Queen floated over to the wizard's head, his face was frozen in agony.

Marcy placed her hand on the ice, tears began to form in her eyes. "Please don't go Simon, I know you've technically been gone for a long time… but I-"

A loud caw and whoosh of air interrupted her, Marceline looked at the cave entrance and saw Finn, Abracadaniel and Life Giving Magus rush in followed by a green-skinned girl with antlers wearing a cape and mask who was carrying a large, one-eyed head above her own head.

"Finn, you're back!" Marceline exclaimed. "You have the cure?!"

"Got it right here." The green girl said.

"Sup." The head said.

The five of them circled around Ice King. "Alright guys, we need to thaw him out now." LGM instructed.

Gunter waddled over carrying a red bottle shaped like a flame in his flippers, he presented the bottle to LGM. "Wenk wenk."

Magus took the bottle from Gunter. "Ooo, bottled fire! This'll do. Thank you Gunter." Magus pointed the bottle at Ice King. "Alright guys, we need to move quickly. I'll melt Ice King out of the ice and Marceline will wrench his mouth open so Huntress can squeeze some tears into his mouth."

"You're gonna melt me?!" the ice cried.

"Oh right, I forgot you were alive. Hold on." Magus pulled off an oven mitt with his teeth and touched the ice, ending it's life.

"I am very glad you did that, the ice was incredibly annoying." said Marcy.

"Hey Magus, how about I melt the Ice King out? Since I don't need to wear oven mitts while I do it." Finn offered.

"Good idea." LGM handed Finn the bottle. "Now remember, Cork the bottle as soon as Ice King unthaws. Ya wanna melt the ice, not the Ice King."

Finn nodded and pointed the bottle at the frozen Ice King.

"Alright. Everybody ready? On three. One. Two. Three!"

Finn uncorked the bottle and a jet of fire spewed out at Ice King's coffin, melting it almost instantly. Finn had to cork the bottle almost immediately. Ice King, now unfrozen, laid on the ground and shivered violently. His moans of pain sounded agonizing and he was almost as green as Huntress. Marceline forced his mouth open and Huntress gave the cyclops head a squeeze, spraying a stream of magic tears into IK's open maw. Marcy closed his mouth and forced Ice King to swallow the tears. Nothing happened at first, then Ice King's shivering slowed down and eventually stopped. His skin slowly returned to it's normal blue color.

Ice King opened his eyes and sat up from the floor. "What happened?"

LGM and Abracadaniel looked overjoyed.

"Ice King!"

"You're alive!"

"Yeah of course I am, why wouldn't I be?" Ice King then noticed Huntress in the room. "Huntress Wizard? What're you doing here? Are we at a Wizard Battle? Is that what's going on?" He looked up at the giant head she was carrying. "And who's your friend there?"

"Long story short, you now owe me your life." HW said.

"...Okay." Ice King stood up and turned to Finn. "Finn, help me out here. What they hey-hey is going-" Before he could finish, Marceline wrapped her arms around IK in a strong hug.

"You're okay! Simon, you're okay! Oh thank goodness!" Marcy sounded relieved beyond measure.

Finn raised an eyebrow. 'Simon?' He looked over at the other wizards but they looked as confused as he was.

"Ice King's real name is Simon?" Abracadaniel asked.

Ice King shrugged with Marcy still clinging to him. "I guess. Marceline calls me that all the time, so…"

Marcy looked at Simon with sad disbelief on her face, she then seemed to suddenly lose it and began violently shaking Ice King back and forth. "Dangit Simon! Why can't you remember anything?! Why can't you remember me?!"

Marceline quit shaking Ice King and the wizard blinked the spots out of his eyes. "Look, I'm sorry alright? My memory isn't what it used to be, assuming it ever used to be."

Marcy grit her teeth in frustration, but instead of getting angry again she just started sobbing into the Ice King's shoulder. Ice King looked unsure of what to do, so he just awkwardly patted Marcy's back as she cried.

Finn and the wizards decided to give them some space and met over by the cave entrance. "Geesh, what the stuff is that all about?" LGM wondered.

Huntress put the head down on the floor. "Whatever it is, it's none of our business." she said, Huntress then waved her hand in a circle in front of her and in a flash of light, four gourd water containers were suddenly floating in front of her. "One for each you, plus one for Ice King to keep in case he gets poisoned again. Fill 'em up fellas."

LGM and Abracadaniel each grabbed a gourd and Finn grabbed two, HW punched the cyclops' eye and he began to cry. The three guys filled up their gourds and corked the tops.

Huntress gave a satisfied nod. "Good, hopefully Ice King actually saves his tears for an emergency instead of drinking it just because he's thirsty. Now with that all out of the way, I think I'm gonna call it a day and head out."

"Oh, alright then." said Finn, he couldn't help but feel a tad disappointed in seeing her leave so soon. "Thanks for your help Huntress, we couldn't have done it without you."

"Obviously." Huntress replied with a smirk. "But I gotta hand it to you three, you really held your own against this guy." She gave the cyclops head a pat. "Especially you Finn."

Finn's cheeks reddened a bit. "Uh… thanks Huntress." He rubbed the back of his head nervously. "If you ever want to cash in that solid, then… you know… go ahead and give me a call."

"Your skillset is to be admired Finn, you can bank on me calling you up for that favor soon enough." Huntress smiled, her eyes gleamed like a pair of green, tiger's eye quartzes. "Until then." She picked up the head and walked out of the ice cave, once outside she transformed back into a hawk and flew off with the cyclops head in her talons.

Finn watched as she flew away. '...Wow.' Finn suddenly noticed LGM and Abracadaniel staring at him. "What?"

"Nothin'."

"Yep, nothin'."

Finn rolled his eyes. "Whatever. It's getting late, I think I'm gonna go to my treehouse now."

"Finn, wait!" Ice King walked over to Finn and the wizards with a now calmed down Marceline by his side. "I need to know what happened to Shoko! Tell me more man!"

Marceline raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Shoko?"

"Yeah, turns out I'm the reincarnation of some thief girl who lived hundreds of years ago." Finn explained. "These guys are hooked on her story."

"It has everything!" LGM exclaimed. "Drama, heartbreak, suspense."

"If only she didn't die during her next job." Abracadaniel said sadly.

Ice King covered his ears. "Woah! Spoiler alert! Also, WHAT! She dies during her next job! That is so disappointing!"

Marceline rubbed her chin in thought. "Shoko… Shoko… I feel like I've heard that name before."

"Oh yeah, you're over a thousand years old Marcy. Do you remember ever meeting a one-armed thief girl with black hair and green skin? She rode on a white tiger named Joice?" Finn asked.

"A white tiger?" Marcy asked. "Hmmm… I think I remember Bubblegum saying something about a girl and a white tiger like, a long time ago. But I'm not sure, so don't take my word for it."

"Bubblegum? What would she know about-" Finn's eyes suddenly widened to the size of saucers, memories of days past flashed before his eyes. He saw a young Candy Kingdom, he saw green banana guards.

He saw Shoko's demise.

"Finn? What's wrong? What do you see?" Abracadaniel asked.

Finn blinked a few times to regain his bearings. "I… I need to get to the Candy Kingdom." He stated.

"Correction; we need to get to the Candy Kingdom." said Ice King, he raised his hands in the air and they sparked and glowed with magic energy. He thrust his hands outward and zapped the ground in front of his, creating a sleigh of ice big enough to carry all four of them. Ice King whistled and a team of penguins led by Gunter waddled up in front of the sleigh and IK harnessed them up with another zap. "Everybody hop on!"

Ice King and friends got on the sleigh and IK grabbed the reins with a giddy giggle. "Man I love doing this!"

"You know penguins can't fly right?" LGM said. "Shouldn't we harness Marceline to the sleigh instead?"

Marcy gave Magus a slap upside the head.

"OW! Nevermind."

"Don't worry dog, I got this." Ice King wiggled his fingers at the penguins and a flurry of snow floated on to them, they penguins started quaking and flapping their wings like they just got an energy boost. "Now we're talking. Hiyah!"

Ice King snapped the reins and the penguins flew into the air, taking the sleigh with them, they flew out of the cave and into the night sky. "Fly my penguins! To the Candy Kingdom! And Maybe later the Grocery Kingdom, 'cause we're almost out of pop-tarts!"

Peppermint Butler knocked on the princess' bedroom door. "Princess, I brought you some herbal tea with lemon balm to help you sleep." The mint man received no response. "Princess?"

Peppermint Butler opened the door and gasped at what he saw. Charts and papers covered the walls of her bedroom, open books and notes were on the bed and the floor was littered with balled up pieces of paper. The princess herself was standing in front of a mobile chalkboard writing down a series of codes and mathematical equations, she had an open notebook in her hand and was silently mumbled to herself like she was in some kind of trance.

Peppermint Butler sighed as he walked into the room. "Princess, when I said you should go to bed I didn't mean you should take your work with you."

Bubblegum put her work on pause and turned to her butler, she wore a pair of circular, wide brimmed glasses and her hair was tied back in a ponytail. The white lab coat she wore was stained with various spots of ink. "I can't stop now pep-but, I need to find a way to duplicate the Guardians activation coding." She sounded sleepy but slightly crazed. "I don't need tea, bring me a coffee."

Pep-but placed the tea on a nearby table. "Princess, I understand that reactivating the Gumball Guardians is important. However, you are of no help to anybody if you strain yourself like this."

Bubblegum looked back to her work. "I have to push myself, when Flame Princess and her Fire giant destroyed the Gumball Guardians they completely demolished their inner workings. I was able to repair the Guardians' bodies with no issue, but the coding that makes them the protectors they were built to be was another matter. I managed to recreate that coding to the best of my abilities but without the startup sequence they can't be powered back on."

"You mean the unique coding you made for the Guardians so no one else could gain control over them, the coding that you stored in your long-lost amulet." Peppermint Butler confirmed.

"Precisely." Bubblegum answered. "Without that coding, the Guardians can't be powered back on. And even if I do manage to somehow bypass that firewall there's still the matter of retraining the Guardians to protect. I appreciate your concern Peppermint Butler, but I have a lot of work ahead of me and it needs to be completed ASAP."

Pep-but gave another side. 'I didn't want to play this card, but…' "If you're going to put this much effort into your work, then maybe you could apply this effort to fulfilling your promise."

"What are you talking about?" PB asked.

"The promise you made? To the savior of this kingdom? A mister Finnegan Campbell? The one person who was willing to stick his neck out for you? The guy who you promised to help contact his home and family? This ringing any bells your highness?"

This managed to get the princess' attention, she turned to her butler and blinked a few times. "I… well…"

"I know you've put that project on the back burner to work on the Guardians. Forgive me for speaking so boldly princess, but pushing Mr. Campbell off to the side like this after everything he's risked for you is completely unfair to our dear friend Finn the Human. Your dear friend Finn the Human."

For a minute, Pep-but thought he had won. The princess seemed to be struggling with her own inner turmoil, but she managed to come to her own logical conclusion. Bubblegum turned back to her work. "The kingdom comes first. I understand this, Finn understood this, I expect you to understand this as well Peppermint Butler."

The butler took a breath. 'One more card, then I'll quit.' "Princess, I know you care about Finnegan, perhaps you even have feelings for him."

The princess stopped her work.

"And who knows, perhaps he shares those feelings. But know this princess- you can't just solve for x when it comes to the people you care about." Pep-but paused for a few heartbeats. "You lost Marceline, I don't want to see you lose someone else."

The princess was as still as a statue. Peppermint Butler silently prayed to Glob he didn't cross a line.

Finally, the princess let out a sigh. "Pep-but… I-"

A penguin drawn sleigh of ice suddenly burst through the bedroom wall, Bubblegum shrieked as she stumbled back in panic.

"Ho ho ho, my bro bro bros!" Ice King shouted. "Merry freaking Christmas!"

Abracadaniel looked like he was about to have a heart attack. "I understand now why he just flies around most of the time instead of using this thing." he said meekly.

Bubblegum stared at the sleigh in intense startlement, in it sat Ice King, Finn, Marceline, a really hairy guy and a skinny, pink guy.

Bubblegum became furious. "Was zur Hölle ist los mit dir, du dichter, irritierender Dummkopf!"

Finn jumped off the sleigh. "Princess, I am so sorry about this." Finn said.

"Finn, you better have a darn good explanation for this!" PB yelled. "I was in the middle of important work and now there's a hole in my bedroom wall and penguins are trying to eat my research!"

Finn pulled a notebook out of a penguin's beak, he held the book to his chest and took a deep breath. "Hundreds of years ago, you knew a girl named Shoko." he started. "She was green, she had black hair and yellow eyes, only one arm, and rode on a white tiger."

Bubblegum's eyes widened in shock. "Wha… how do you-"

"You took her in and gave her food and a place to sleep, she helped you finish up the Gumball Guardians, you even made a bionic arm for her."

Bubblegum stared at Finn mouth agape, the three wizards in the sleigh listened in with eager ears.

"But… she stole something from you, an amulet that you used to start up the Guardians. She ended up falling into the radioactive river and… she died." Finn took PB's hands in his own. "I want you to know that… Shoko did care about you. You were the first real friend she ever had other than her tiger, the first person to ever give her anything out of kindness. She lived a short life, but you were hands down the best thing in Shoko's life. As she died, she thought of you. Her only regret was not being able to return what she stole."

The wizards started whimpering and sniffing, even Marceline seemed transfixed.

Bubblegum blinked. "How do you know all of this?" she asked in bewilderment.

"Because I'm Shoko, I'm her reincarnation."

PB pulled her hands back. "That… that's impossible, the very notion of reincarnation defies all-"

"When you let me help finish the Guardians, I handed you a duck instead of a screwdriver." Finn told her. "When I told you about my parents trading my arm for a computer, you told me parents should protect their children. When you made me that bionic arm, I left the tent crying."

Ice King wrapped his arms around Abracadaniel and LGM. "I love you guys."

Bubblegum couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Shoko." she muttered.

Finn offered the princess his hand. "Come on princess, there's one more stop I want to make."

Ice King landed the sleigh in front of the treehouse, Finn got out and helped the princess out. "There's something inside I need to show you princess." Finn walked inside and Bubblegum followed.

Life Giving Magus looked up at the treehouse. "This is a nice place."

Bubblegum followed Finn into the kitchen area. "Finn, what are we doing here?"

Finn pulled out his gourd of magic tears and set it on the table. "Hold on." Finn started tearing away the wooden flooring, PB just watched the display in confusion.

Finn pulled away enough of the boards to reveal a skeleton underneath, clutched in the skeleton's hand was a blue amulet on a gold chain. Finn reached down and took the amulet, which he presented to Bubblegum. "I believe this is yours princess."

PB gasped. "My amulet!" She took the amulet and placed it over her neck.

Finn took a breath. "And now, the story of Shoko has come to an end."

"What was it doing here?" PB asked.

"The radioactive river didn't kill Shoko, not right away at least." Finn explained. "It mutated her, and she crawled her way to this tree when it was still a sapling. She's been here ever since."

Bubblegum stared at the necklace, then looked back up at Finn. "I… I'm at a loss for words here. Thank you Finn."

"Bubblegum… there's something else you should know." Finn rubbed his arm nervously. "I'm not really sure, because I don't think Shoko was even sure. But, I think she might've been in love with you."

PB's eyes shot wide open.

"You were the first person to show her any kindness, the first person to even give her a gift. Her own parents never even did that. She died regretting what she did." Finn placed his hand on Bubblegum's shoulder. "I am so sorry for what I did."

Bubblegum stared at Finn in disbelief, then she smiled and placed her hand on Finn's. "I forgive you Shoko."

Finn smiled and withdrew his hand. "Thank you princess. Love the glasses by the way, goes good with the lab coat."

Bubblegum giggled. "Thanks." PB then frowned and looked to the floor. "Listen Finn, I have a confession to make. I… haven't actually been working on a way to contact your home, I've been working on restarting the Guardians instead."

Finn's eyes widened. "What?"

"I know, I know. I'm sorry." Guilt flooded her face and her features. "The Gumball Guardians are the most essential components of the Candy Kingdom's security and I feared the worst of what would happen if I didn't get them back up and running immediately." PB looked into Finn's eyes pleadingly. "I hope you can forgive me."

Finn stared at the princess for a bit, then smiled. "It's fine princess, I understand."

PB blinked. "You're… you're not mad at me?"

Finn shrugged. "Nah, it's cool."

Bubblegum rubbed her amulet. "Well, now that I have my amulet back, I can start the Guardians back up and I can get back to working on the communication link to your island right away." the princess' eyes widened in realization. "Oh wait, if you're Shoko, then I guess this means you know that I'm-"

"Over eight hundred years old? Yeah I know, Jake told me."

"Why that big-mouthed bulldog." she muttered. The princess then looked at Shoko's remains. "We should probably give her a proper burial."

"Don't worry about it." Finn said. "I think she would've liked this better, being a part of the tree."

Bubblegum shrugged. "If you say so."

"Yeah, I'll just board her back up in the morning. After the day I've had, I'm more than ready to call it quits."

"Oh okay, then I guess I'll see you later." said PB.

"Yeah, good night princess. Sorry again about your bedroom." said Finn.

"Oh it's not your fault."

"It's like, thirty percent my fault actually. Maybe thirty five."

Bubblegum chuckled, then she planted a kiss on Finn's cheek, earning a blush from the bashful boy. Bubblegum stared at Finn for a bit with a thoughtful look on her face, she leaned towards Finn.

And kissed him tenderly on the lips.

Finn's brain overloaded, when PB ended the kiss Finn couldn't speak or even move. She tasted like gum and the taste was still on his lips.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Bubblegum and Finn jumped back at the sound of the voice, Marceline materialized into the visible plain next to the stove. "Finn, I'm cool with you bringing a girl here every now and then, but I'm gonna have to double your rent if you're gonna turn this place into your own princess-pounding palace."

Finn and PB's faces turned beet-red. "What the heck are you doing here Marceline?!" Bubblegum demanded.

"Uh, this is my house. I can come and go as I please. Also the wizard weenies outside are getting impatient and want to know what's going on, bet you ten bucks they're all gonna have a fanfic written about Shoko before the sun comes up."

Finn coughed into his fist awkwardly. "Listen guys, it's been a long day. I think I'm just gonna call it a night now. Feel free to hang out here all you want but I'm going to bed." Finn made to leave but Marcy floated in front of him. "Hold up Finn." the vampire smiled. "Thank you for saving Simon, that meant a lot to me."

Finn looked at Marceline curiously. "Marcy, what's the deal with you two?"

"I am curious as well Marceline." said PB. "You always defended the Ice King but never once told me why."

Marcy looked off to the side. "That's a story for another time." The vampire looked back at Finn. "Good night Finn." She leaned in and placed a kiss on his cheek, earning a frown from PB. The red-faced human hurried to the bathroom, Bubblegum watched as he left.

"If you wanna take a shower with him, now's your chance." Marcy teased. "I won't judge."

PB blushed and glared at the vampire. "Isn't that more your vulgar forte?"

Marceline grinned. "If I recall correctly, and I do, you used to love that vulgar forte. Begged for it even."

PB's face returned to it's beet-red color. "That was a long time ago."

"But how much has actually changed I wonder." Marceline floated leisurely above Bubblegum's head. "Face it Bonnie, I know all your dirty secrets, I know all your guilty pleasures." Bonnie grimaced in embarrassment. "You haven't changed any more than I have."

"It's clear you haven't changed." PB retorted. "You probably want to break Finn's pelvis on the same beach you attacked him on."

"Yeah, and you're more than welcome to join us."

The princess groaned in frustration. "You need to stay away from Finn, I of all people know what a bad influence you are."

"Excuse me?" Marceline floated to the ground and met Bubblegum's gaze. "You think I'm a bad influence? You basically said 'screw that guy' when you ditched the 'contact his home and family' project and now you actually want to screw that guy!" Marcy pointed an accusing finger at Bubblegum. "You used him, and when he asked for something in return you completely ignored him! That's how you operate, that's your method of survival."

Bubblegum met her gaze firmly. "I have a kingdom to protect, that's my job, that's my purpose. That's not something you would understand because the most important thing in your life is your bass and your next gig. We are not all afforded that luxury."

Marceline's eyes glowed an angry turquoise color, but she took a breath and blinked them back to normal. "Know what? I don't have to take this from a narcissistic egomaniac like you." Marceline floated over to the kitchen window and opened it, she paused for a minute before glaring back at PB.

"And for the record, you used to be the most important thing in my life." Her eyes narrowed. "'Used to be' is the key phrase there." With that said, the Vampire Queen flew off into the night.

Bubblegum stared out the window, she began to reach out towards it but stopped herself. The princess let out a sigh before walking outside, Ice King, Abracadaniel and LGM were still waiting for her.

The three wizards looked at PB expectantly. "So… how does Shoko's story end?" IK asked.

"Yeah come on, tell us!" LGM begged. "We need to know!"

The princess just gave the wizards an annoyed stare. "You three need a life, that's what you need." she said before beginning her trek back to the Candy Kingdom.

The wizards looked down in shame.

Finn got out of the shower once he was sure everyone was gone, he slipped into a comfy blue bathrobe that was among the many new bathroom supplies he found in there and made his way upstairs. Finn saw BMO in the living room in sleep mode on the table, he smiled and continued up to the bedroom. Finn noticed a note laying on his bed so he lit the candle on his nightstand and sat down to read it.

Dear Finn

I hope your past life search was a success man, Cosmic Owl dreams are no joke and I hope you found what you were looking for. Me and BMO managed to sort out all the gift baskets, it took us nearly the entire day and now your cabinets are full of snacks and there's a bunch of soaps and stuff in the bathroom. Including a really comfy bathrobe that I think is from Engagement Ring Princess, not sure why you would've needed a bathrobe in the hospital but it's the thought that counts I guess.

Jake

PS.

I might've taken some of your snacks, hope that's cool.

Finn smiled. "That darn dog."

"He reminds me of Joice."

Finn looked over and nearly jumped out of his skin. Sitting on the bed beside him was none other than Shoko, she stared at Finn with her bright, yellow eyes.

"Shoko?! What the… how the… are you a ghost?"

"I'm you, so that wouldn't really make a lot of sense would it?" Shoko asked, she wore the same attire she wore in Finn's memories.

Finn steadied himself. "So… what are you? Am I just seeing things? Have I finally gone over the edge?"

Shoko raised her one and only hand in a calming gesture. "No. Well kinda, but no. I'm your conscience, a manifestation of your innermost thoughts and feelings that have taken the form of one of your past lives, namely the past life you have the most clear memories of."

Finn stared at his conscience in disbelief. "So… I now have an imaginary friend who is in my head and looks like one of my past lives?"

"You can call me your familiar if you want, or your spirit guide. That sounds pretty cool." Shoko offered.

Finn fell back onto the bed and groaned. "Great, as if my life wasn't messed up enough as it was. Now I'm being haunted by my own ghost."

"Not a ghost, your conscience." Shoko reminded him. "I live on within your memories, as do all of our other past lives."

"Oh whatever, you're just proof that I'm losing my mind."

Shoko laid back on the bed next to Finn. "Look at it this way, now you finally have someone to talk to when you don't want to talk to someone." she gave Finn a smile. "You helped me find my peace, let me help you find yours."

Finn just stared up at the ceiling, refusing to acknowledge Shoko. But then he gave in and took a breath. "Shoko, the Lich came so close to escaping today. The fact I'm the guy these people want to turn to when trouble happens is downright terrifying. I want to go home but at the same time I don't ever want to go home. And to top it off, you and I are the reincarnation of some ancient entity and the universe has been pulling my strings from the day I was born." He looked at Shoko. "How the stuff am I supposed to deal with all of that?"

Shoko just shrugged. "It's like Jake said, you can't live your life stressing over the future. You've been given a golden ticket to explore a whole new world and you're really making your mark here. The problem is you doubt yourself too much, you don't give yourself enough credit, and you're too dang worried about the 'what ifs'. I was never anything to anybody, but you… your a hero Finn, you should realize that by now. Maybe the Lich will break out and maybe he won't, you need to stop worrying about the 'what ifs' and just start living. Go out and meet new people, ask out one of the many chicks who are into you, go to a party and pass out drunk in an alleyway."

"I don't think I'm gonna do that last one."

"Well it seems more likely than you doing the second one, you have like, no game. Look, you get the idea. Go out and have some fun tomorrow and forget about the Lich, you could use a fun day after today."

Finn gazed at Shoko with a thoughtful look, then he smiled. "You know what?, you're right. Thanks Shoko, you sure know your stuff."

Shoko smiled back. "I'm you, remember? Everything I know, you already knew."

Finn crawled under the covers still in his bathrobe (imaginary or not, Finn wasn't about to disrobe in front of Shoko. Plus it was comfy.), and rested his head on the pillow. "What should we do tomorrow Shoko?"

Shoko grinned. "The way I see it, we can do whatever we want."

"I like those options." Finn leaned over and blew out the candle. "Well, goodnight Shoko."

"Goodnight Finn." Shoko said to him as he fell into a dreamless sleep.

Alright, so a lot happened in this chapter. Finn met Huntress Wizard, Ice King was cured, Marcy reveals the Ice King's real name, and now Finn has a stress induced hallucination friend. I kind of went nuts with the end of this chapter, wasn't really expecting it to be so long. I hope you liked this chapter, thank you for following my story.

Bye.
