Smoke burned at his eyes and caused them to tear up as he was flung onto his back. He was to late...! He couldn't save everyone!

Carnelian, Tamarin and Bigtail. They were dead or almost dead.

Autumn had looked out the cave to see what the comotion was about and was flung out the cave with pretty bad burns but was still alive and awake unlike Tamarin.

He was looking around, seemingly not in pain but that was due to shock.

Silversun himself had pretty bad scrapes aswell from being tossed and not having fire proof scales, he infact has the oposite, didn't help either.

As Silver got onto his legs shakily, Peril retrieved the bodies inside the cave and dragged them out.

But there was nothing anyone could do, Cernelian and Bigtail are dead.

Suddenly Winter grabbed Moon and him and pulled them away from the tunnel.

His cold scales felt comforting against the hot agitated scales cuaght in the blast.

The Icewing only let them go when they were a diffrent cave, away from the panicked dragons.

"Here."

"You can't just push your friends around like, espeacially when they're hurt!" Kinkajou reprimanded but spotted something in Moonwatchers wound.

Silver too had needles in some of his wounds. The dragonet lifted his front talon and pulled out the needles in a quick sucssetion and spat them onto the cave floor.

"You two knew," Winter snarled at them and Silver paused in his action of pulling out the needles out of his wounds.

"That's why you tried to stop us from going in. You knew about the explosion and the fire before it happened."

Silver looked Winter directly into his eyes as he stept foward menecingly. He wasn't afraid of Winter. Icewings don't scare him.

How could he if his own mother is one?

Yes their sharp edges would scare anyone else in that Situation but Silver knows for a fact that Winter is just as freaked out as everyone else.

If one awnser is out of the way then he will feel better.

"So. How exactly did you two know?"

Qibli looked cuaght off guard.

"you didn't- sorry, but- you didn't have anything to do with-"

"No!" Moon cried. "Of course not!"

"I know." Qibli said uncovinsingly.

"But if you didn't do it, then who did it?"

Turtle asked nervously.

"Maybe you two saw something? Something that warned you?" Kinkajou asked.

"I did see something." Silver said as calmly as he could, while he didn't stutter his voice was shaking.

Everyone looked at him, Moon gave him a 'don't do it' face but Silver didn't care. If she wanted to have secrets that's what she wants, he doesn't want that. There is no point in hiding like that.

"I had a vision. Qibli you saw me in Music."

Qibli slowly started nodding which got faster after a moment. "Yea, that's right! You looked like you had a random mingraine atrack but yelled about 'highly flameable cactus' in the history cave right after!"

Winter snarlwd at Silver. "Impossible. You said yourself that Nightwings don't have powers anymore!"

Silver hesitated for a moment.

"I- I guess I wasn't clear enough then...

For the Nightwings who lived by the Vulcano, they lost their powers.

I hadn't hatched by the vulcano nor do I know what a vulcano looks like other than it being mountain shaped."

"Wait! The Nightwings lost their powers because of the Vulcano?"

"Where did you hatch then?"

Silver looked back and fourth between Winter and Qibli for a moment before awnsering. "I think so and my mother said I hatched on Mt. Cellion."

"Mt. Cellion?!" Winter hissed and got all up in Silvers face who flinched surpised.

The Icewing roughly grabbed Silvers white front talon and inspected the claws with critical eyes.

Next was his mouth, which was blue instead of black like tipical Nightwings mouthes. Then the wounds which had tiny bits of blue blood coming out.

"You're half Icewing?!"

"Yes. I know."
