Dear Snow,

I'm sorry that I won't be making it to your Hatchday, the Icewings insist on me staying here untill I have learned how things work around here. But I'll be returning to Jade Mountain Academy in maybe a week or so. But I made this present (that should be with this letter, if not I know you'll sue ) for you myself.I hope you like it, you talked so much on how you liked scarves so I made one for you.

Silver.

The young Hybrid shook off droplets of freezing ocean water. He has intotal of three big fish with him, a little underwealming compared to the other dragons who went with him.

The Queens advisors wanted to evaluate his current skill compared to others of his age to properly gauge out where he was at. Silver was forced to present his fish to them, while other dragonets where watching.

It was so embaressing.

The Icewings inspected the fish with critical eyes, picking it up, turning it, weighing them and checking if they were healthy enough to be eaten.

The adults spoke to one another briefly, before putting the fish back down.

They proceeded to then inspect the catch of other dragonets.

Silvers goldish amber eyes gazed after them in worried confusion. Was... was that good? Was that bad?

Did he pass in their eyes??

He just wanted to go back to his room or Jade Mountain Academy, either of those worked.

Battle training was interessting,

espeacially since today they were training Frost Breath.

Training that it involved increasing its range, controll and potency.

Alot of Icewings were keeping a distance from him, since they don't know if he has fire breath or not. Which is reasonable, Icewings dislike fire afterall.

It was his turn now.

Many of the Icewing drafonets were good at what they're doing, in his opinion.

Silver meanwhile never really trained his breath like this so often. He cam increase and decrease it's potency sure, but he never went for range.

He glanced at the numbers etched into the icy ground and then at the instructers, who also were at a safe distance.

"Now Silversun. Use whatever breath you have and have it at it's least potency. How you'll do depends on controll, range and how low you can go."

Silver nodded to himself and glanced at the range thing. Taking a deep breath he focused the gathering strength in his chest and let only a bit out.

The result was a brief burst of blue flames between his jaws and a small beam of a blue frost breath(*) like breath that sparked with tiny embers.(*2)

His range was alright he surposed and he controlled it just fine. The only thing is, he melted the ground slightly. But that was going to happen, the Icewings made a good guess that his might be hot.

The instuctor wrote something down on a piece of paper he would probably give to the Queen qnd her advisors.

Dear Silver,

I love the gift! It's so soft, how did you learn to make it like this? Also you're right, I would have definetivly sued someone had the scarf been lost. Everything is kind of boring right now at the Academy, if not that then filled with tension because the Jade Winglet disapeared along with Peril. That skywing with the cool looking blue eyes.

Snow.

(*) It's a wierd mix between Fire and Frost Breath, but it's very very hot because Silvers body is cold. Which is why it comes out blue, since it needs to be way hotter to ignite properly.

(*2) For reference, I took Safi'Jiivas (from Monster Hunter Iceborne) attack. On Youtube there is a video with all of it's attacks, the first attack is what it should about look like.
