THE HIGHER LEAF
"Pickachu thunder shock!" said Ash training for the pokemon league. "Yes!" Turning to face his friends, he beamed. "I won."
"Good battle" said Brock. "You should get really far in the tournament."
"Hey, guys, look!" said May.
"Hey, a mew!" Cried Ash., smiling at he reached for a pokeball.
"Hey, that's mine!" A voice called out of nowhere.
"What?" said Ash, looking around nervously. "Who's that?"
"Ahh it's a woman" said Brock. "Hi what's your name?"
"My name Kim" she said, trying - and failing - to disguise the look of disgust at the drool coming from Brook's mouth.
"You where lucky. I was going to catch it" Ash remarked.
"Ha-ha" she laughed.
"Prepare for………….."
"Team rocket" shouted Ash, as Jesse, James and Mewoth appeared.
"Hmm. A mew." Mewoth mused.
"Quick grab it." Jesse ordered, and James sprang forward.
"HEY!" shouted Kim.
"I choose you grovel." Ash cried. "Grovel razor leaf!"
"Attack !" said Mewoth.
Grovel attacked Team Rocket, but Mewoth attacked him in a frenzy, and Grovel got badly hurt, laid on the floor gasping for breath as Kim tried to fight team rocket off.
"Grovel!"
When Ash found grovel, the pokemon began to glow.
"He evolved into sceptile." Brock smiled. "Well done, Ash."
"OK then … sceptile." said Ash, a smile spreading across his face. "Solar beam!" He shouted , and Sceptile did so.
"Team rocket's blasting off again …"
"Yeah!" Ash yelled, punching the air.
"Thank you." Kim smiled. Checking her watch, she frowned a little bit. "I have to go now … nice meeting you. Bye."
"Bye." Ash smiled, as Misty shot Brook reproachful looks as his face fell in disappointment.
