Hi! Okay, I know I said that I would only update with two reviews, but I had a bunch of time so I wrote a new chapter. Also, I've decided to start my new story sometime next week. As I've mentioned, this chapter will have Biana's POV. By the way, I noticed that once I wrote longer chapters, less people reviewed…. That's kinda ironic…. Anyway, enjoy! This is a long chapter, as you can see, I stepped up my game XD. . Also, there's some classic Sokeefe here :).

"I have information about the "Vacker Legacy", she smirked.

"And why would we need this information?"Sophie asked.

"Because it's life changing."

"Yeah, we're leaving now." So many times before we had let her pull us down and control us, well I wouldn't allow that to happen anymore, and even if this information was life changing, we could find out about it some other way.

As Sophie held up her home crystal to the light and gripped my arm, I knew we had made the right choice. Mom's lips were pressed in a thin line as she said "You'll regret this."

"We probably will." Foster said.

She pulled me into the light.

Biana's POV

Everyone was gathered at Havenfield, trying to figure out where Sophie had gone with Keefe. Sandor was using a strange device to track Sophie, but the most we could do was look at the small glowing dot on the gold-tinted screen, as none of us could leap there because there wasn't a leaping crystal that lead to Venice. All the goblins were with Sandor, and the adults were nervously pacing around. All of my friends were seated on the sofa, except Tam, who had probably hid somewhere with his shadows. Grady had hailed all of us over after Sandor had told him what had happened.

It felt like an eternity before the door opened, and in walked Sophie and Keefe. All of us tackled them, including me. The next few seconds were a blur of questions and flustered answers. Apparently, They had gone to the Forbidden cities to meet with Keefe's mom. She had offered some information about- why was everyone staring at my parents and me and Fitz? I didn't know what the information was, only it was really vital. Sophie and Keefe hadn't agreed to the terms though, so they had leaped away before anything could happen.

Why was everyone still staring at us? I hadn't smudged my lipstick, had I? But then why were they looking at Fitz too? Silently, everyone pated, leaving Sophie crouched in front of us.

"She offered information about the Vacker Legacy." she said quietly, so quietly that I thought I had imagined it. But when she repeated it again, blood pounded in my ears, freezing me into place.

But before I could lose control, Sophie said something else. "What she wanted in return was Keefe joining the Neverseen."

I took a deep breath, shoving everything swirling and tumbling in my mind out. I couldn't lose control like last time. The things I'd said to Sophie….. I was still grateful she would be my best friend. After that, Fitz shouted at Sophie and said things to Sophie and Keefe that even I shuddered at. I remember gently pulling him back, and comforting Sophie. Then someone tugging my hand and leaping away. I vaguely thought I saw the lush green land of Everglen, then something slipping down my throat and falling down, down to a deep cavern where I could be safe.

Sophie's POV

After I told them about the information Lady Gisela had offered us, the Vackers were a mess. Della and Alden had stayed calm throughout, but had said a brief word of thanks for being honest and they also assured me I did the right thing. Biana had just looked….. Frozen. After Fitz had yelled at me though, she looked at me imploringly as if to ask if I would be okay, then pulled Fitz away and leaped away.

And Fitz…. Was the worst out of all of them. He yelled one insulting thing after another to my face and turned even angrier when Keefe stepped in front of me. I had nearly no idea why but I had a theory… Could he be jealous?

Of course not! Keefe and I were just friends…. Right? A nagging feeling deep down inside me said something else, and it was magnified when I relived the feeling that had appeared when Keefe had said goodbye. I stored it in my head to wonder about later, while I turned to current events.

After everyone had left, Grady had locked me in my room with Sandor keeping watch outside. I should have braced myself for a long "I go where you go" lecture from Sandor, but I was too worried about the look on Keefe's face as he leaped away. It wasn't scared, or vulnerable. It was angry and defiant. It was the look he had just before betraying me when he was with the Neverseen.

I blocked out all sound as I reached out with my mind.

Keefe? Keefe? Are you there?

A while passed with my feelings getting more nervous by the second.

Foster? Is that you?

FINALLY! Do you know how worried I was?

Woahhhhh, no need to unleash the Foster rage on me, I was just busy for a moment and I couldn't divert my attention.

Sophie was getting a feeling she wasn't going to like what he was doing.

What are you doing?

Ummmmm nothing….

Come on, you know you can't lie to me.

Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. Even after this, he took several seconds before he revealed what had happened.

Yes?

Ummmmmm I mayormaynothavegottenamemoryback.

What?

I said I may or may not have gotten a memory back.

WHAT!?

Yeah… that's how I figured you would react. But don't worry, I've got it under control. I haven't even done anything yet, see? He let his mind focus on his room at the Waves of Wimpiness. Ro was painting her nails with…. Was that orange nail polish?

How do I know you're actually there? You could have just replayed that from a few days ago.

I'm not! He insisted. Remember the panic switch Dex gave me before I left? He shifted his sight so Sophie could see the ice blue ring on his pointer finger.

Fine. What was the memory?

I got it back just before we leaped away from meeting my mom. She said something that triggered it. I forgot what it was exactly, but I don't think she meant for it to trigger.

Do you mind if I see what it was? I held my breath, sure he wouldn't let me.

Fineeee. I should know there's no use arguing with you at this point. He waited a few more seconds, then the memory started playing.

Keefe's POV

I was about 6 or 7 in the memory, around the age before I started school. Mom was speaking into her imparter in her room, and in the memory, I was peering inside, unsure of what to do.

"We have to deal with them soon." she said.

"Yes, they are becoming quite a problem, aren't they?" a crackly, distorted voice said from the imparter.

"The Triumvate have to go." (Ugh- That name is so bad. If you have any suggestions, review or PM them to me.) Mom said.

"Yes, send me some updates on that soon." the voice continued.

"Will do." Mom said.

After that, Mom ended the call, looked around, and finally noticed me peeping in from behind the door.

She walked over and said "Don't worry Keefe, why don't you go back to your room?"

"The Washers will be here soon." she added, so quietly Young Me didn't hear.

Then the memory ended.

I hope you enjoyed that long chapter! Stay safe, happy, and review :).
